Gadsden's breakout was predictable from a fantasy perspective because the Chargers' offensive scheme was fundamentally misaligned with Justin Herbert's skill set. Dynasty and best ball players who drafted Gadsden early understood the offense would eventually need to feature him more prominently. Matt Kelley rated Gadsden very highly in FAB bidding suggestions on Patreon, even noting that if he were available in tight end premium leagues, the value would be exceptional.
