Drake London, Jaylen Waddle, Casey Conception, and Carnell Tate all have 20 targets this year without scoring a touchdown yet... I don't love Waddle being in a walking boot after the game... It's been disappointing otherwise. I'm getting nervous. I'll admit it. I'm scared... I think it's more so the Broncos offense than Jaylen Waddle. 27th EPA per drop back in the first half.

Walking boot concern; 20 scoreless targets; Broncos offense (27th EPA) is the real issue.

Jaylen Waddle has 20 scoreless targets this season, but the bigger concern is injury. Waddle was spotted in a walking boot after the game, which Ian Hartitz finds concerning despite Waddle playing through it. While Waddle had a strong 138-yard performance in week two, his production has been disappointing otherwise, and Hartitz admits he's nervous about the situation. Waddle's disappointing production is more attributable to the Broncos offense than to Waddle himself; the Broncos rank 27th in EPA per drop back in the first half. Without Nick Bosa, Hartitz isn't afraid of the 49ers defense, but he wants to see the Broncos offense improve. As a result, Waddle is more of a mid-tier wide receiver than a WR1.
