Fantasy Football with Ian Hartitz on Deebo Samuel

VideoCaptured October 1, 2026

From the video

Wide receiver 31. I got Debo Samuel. Zero targets last week. Still at 80 yards and a touchdown because hook and ladders are freaking sweet. But man, zero targets. And it's just because he's being used as a pure gadget.

WR31 gadget player; zero targets but 80 yards/TD via trick plays

Ian Hartitz ranks Deebo Samuel WR31. Would not receive the same ranking bump if Mike Evans is sidelined. Last week had zero targets but still 80 yards and a touchdown via hook-and-ladder plays, indicating pure gadget usage. Average route depth of 5 yards is the lowest mark in the league, well below peers like Khalo Shakur (5.6). Hartitz suggests using Debo as a floor play versus Jameson Williams if ceiling is needed.
