Fantasy Football with Ian Hartitz on DK Metcalf
From the video

Wide receiver 33. I got DK Metcalf guys Thursday Night Football here against Cleveland. So the Denzel Ward thing, he shadowed Ted McMillan on 49% of his routes...the schedule just gets tough again. Browns, Bengals, Eagles, Broncos, Texans through week 13...I think DK Metcalf is going to be a boom-bust wide receiver three all season.
STACKED’s take
WR33 boom-bust; brutal schedule through week 13, shadow coverage risk
Ian Hartitz ranks DK Metcalf WR33 for Thursday Night Football against Cleveland. Denzel Ward shadowed Metcalf on 49% of his routes this week, up from 26% last year; Ward is a legitimate shadow corner. Metcalf hasn't been good and only scored last week after two Bengals ran into each other; he had a second potential score that Aaron Rogers overthrew. Metcalf faces a brutal schedule: Browns, Bengals, Eagles, Broncos, Texans through week 13, then Jaguars and Ravens, with only Panthers and Titans as favorable matchups in weeks 16-17. Hartitz projects Metcalf as a boom-bust WR3 all season, expecting some boom sooner rather than later but cautioning against buying low given the schedule difficulty. Despite being the clear number one in the Colts offense well ahead of Michael Pittman, the Colts offense looked strong in week three but struggled in weeks one and two, so week three performance should not be assumed as the baseline going forward.
