Tate's breakout tape shows route-running prowess; trending toward double-digit targets.

Tate registered career-high six receptions for 58 yards on nine targets versus the Giants, trending toward his first double-digit target game. Jacob Martin notes Tate was consistently creating separation and winning as a route runner despite Cam Ward missing him in the end zone on a wide-open 3rd-and-goal route. Sunday's tape was a breakout game for Tate even if the stats don't yell breakout production; he has been held back by one of the lowest-scoring offenses in the NFL.
