played a lot more snaps in the slot compared to as an inline TE. He's functionally more of a real WR than a true TE at this point. This is getting close to the Jaxon Smith-Njigba role, and Bowers is skilled enough to handle outlier usage. He'd be a first-round pick in fantasy football right now.

Bowers' WR-like slot usage makes him a first-round fantasy pick.

Bowers is being used primarily in the slot as a wide receiver rather than as an inline tight end, functionally operating as a real WR in the mold of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The source notes he is skilled enough to handle this outlier usage and would be a first-round pick in fantasy football right now.
