Negative signalRole

Ferguson's 8 fumbles since 2024 start and 3.2 YAC/REC over 20 games signal declining efficiency.

Ferguson's ball-control issues have resurfaced with his eighth fumble since the start of the 2024 season, tied for third-most in the league. His touches-per-fumble rate of 18.9 is by far the highest of any player, and his YAC production has deteriorated significantly; over his last 20 games, he has posted an uninspiring 3.2 YAC/REC rate, no longer functioning as the YAC specialist he was in 2023. The source frames these issues as a reason to reduce Ferguson's opportunities in favor of Brevyn Spann-Ford.
