Negative signalBust

Ferguson's 8 fumbles since 2024 and 3.2 YAC/REC over 20 games signal major decline.

Starting tight end has a major ball-control problem with 8 fumbles since the start of 2024 season, tied for third-most in the league; his touches-per-fumble rate of 18.9 is by far the highest of any player. Ferguson is no longer a YAC specialist like in 2023—over his last 20 games he has posted an uninspiring 3.2 YAC/REC rate, and he struggles to turn short catches into bigger plays unless wide open. His fumble issues and declining YAC production make him a liability.
