Winston's inconsistent throws and All-Pro ceiling limit Giants' season upside.

The source notes that unless Jameis Winston or J.J. McCarthy suddenly morphs into an All-Pro quarterback, there is a ceiling on the Giants' season this year; the team must keep the future in mind and not waste assets on short-term fixes. Additionally, the source observes that Winston has thrown some passes that are low or well short, possibly because he is overly conscious of not turning the ball over, causing him to guide the ball rather than letting it flow naturally.
