Arrowhead Pride on Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes tied for 3rd in big-time throws on deep passes despite 20th in attempts.

Mahomes has rediscovered his deep-ball accuracy in 2026 after struggling last season. He is tied for the third-most big-time throws on deep passes this year despite ranking only 20th in deep attempts, per Pro Football Focus. Last season he completed just 42 of 101 deep attempts (41.6% completion, 19th in league) with five interceptions and two touchdowns on such throws; this year's improvement suggests the deep-passing attack is back on track heading into the Raiders matchup.
