STACKED’s take
Walker averages 134.3 rushing yards per game; only Henry has more TDs among 70+ carry RBs.
Walker has yet to have a game without multiple scores or to cross the century mark as a runner, averaging 134.3 rushing yards per game (vs. David Montgomery's 127 through four weeks). Of the six RBs with 70+ carries, only Derrick Henry has found the end zone more times than Walker. He accounted for 35.7% of Kansas City's first downs and 34.3% of explosive plays in Week 4. Walker's contributions are a main driver of the Chiefs' 4-0 record. Only Bijan Robinson beats Walker in both first-down and explosive-play share categories. The Chiefs' receiving unit has underperformed, and with Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice sidelined by injuries, Walker's role as both runner and receiver will remain critical.
