Pats Pulpit on Romeo Doubs

Doubs identified as Patriots' best receiver but not targeted on game-winning play.

Romeo Doubs is identified by Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson as one of the Patriots' best players, referenced in Gardner-Johnson's post-game criticism that the Patriots lacked confidence in their top receivers. Gardner-Johnson stated: "had he put his confidence in his best player, he would have hit [Romeo] Doubs or somebody," implying Doubs should have been the target on the game-winning play instead of backup Efton Chism. This suggests Doubs holds a primary receiver role in the Patriots offense but was not featured on the decisive drive.
