Yahoo Fantasy Football on Jacoby Brissett
From the article
Brissett is an excellent streaming option this week... Through four weeks, Detroit has allowed at least 20 fantasy points to every quarterback the unit has faced, including Tyler Shough (QB6 in Week 1), Josh Allen (QB1 in Week 2), Geno Smith (QB3 in Week 3) and Bryce Young (QB6 in Week 4 with only Monday Night Football remaining).
STACKED’s take
No. 10 waiver pickup; Lions' weak secondary allows 20+ PPG to all QBs.
Jacoby Brissett is ranked as the No. 10 overall waiver-wire pickup for Week 5 against the Lions. The source notes Brissett hasn't picked up where he left off last season when he was a top-10 fantasy quarterback on a per-game basis over the final 12 games. However, a matchup with the banged-up Lions secondary is the perfect recipe for any passer; through four weeks, Detroit has allowed at least 20 fantasy points to every quarterback it has faced, including Tyler Shough (QB6 in Week 1), Josh Allen (QB1 in Week 2), Geno Smith (QB3 in Week 3), and Bryce Young (QB6 in Week 4). Brissett is an excellent streaming option this week, though the source cautions against expecting long-term solutions from him given Arizona's difficult schedule ahead (Broncos, Rams twice, Seahawks, Chiefs in five of the next six games). Brissett has turned the ball over three times this week.
