Projected 17–18 PPG; no longer elite as 49ers shift to Purdy-centric offense

Rashad White is officially concerned that Christian McCaffrey is no longer the elite fantasy asset he once was. The 49ers offense has shifted from being built around protecting the quarterback and powering the run game to being built around Brock Purdy's comfort and preferences. McCaffrey is projected to average 17–18 fantasy points per game with a couple nuclear weeks, but will not challenge Jamir Gibbs, Ken Walker, and Bejian Robinson for 20–23 fantasy points per game. As 49ers pass catchers get healthy (Christian Kirk returning, Debo's role growing, Evans' rib injury healing), the offense will increasingly focus on what Brock Purdy can do.
