0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. All right, and welcome into the FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast.
0:05Vibes remain high across the industry as NFL OTAs continue.
0:08Player takes are being formed and the unofficial start of summer has come and gone.
0:13However, we are contractibly obligated today to rain on some parades as we break down the 11 most overvalued players in our early rankings.
0:20I'm your host Seth Woolcock, potentially making my final appearance on the program as a single man.
0:25And just about 10 days from now, getting married, so excited for that.
0:29And back with me is quite the cast of characters, including a man who is married only to the game.
0:35Yes, he's my co-host over the Betting Pros College Football Show.
0:39You can also find him here on the FantasyPros NFL, the Dynasty and our brand new Tailgate channel.
0:44He's Scott Bogman. Great to be back kicking it with you today.
0:48How's it going, man? It's great. I'm glad to have the Sunday crew here getting over a little bit of a cold.
0:54Yeah, so if my voice sounds weird, I apologize for that.
0:58But got enough luster to be back. I missed a couple days last week, but we're all good.
1:03So trying to enjoy the summer. Hopefully going to get out and see this new Star Wars movie soon, too.
1:09So but excited to talk about some reaches, some Jack Reachers here.
1:13Yeah. And based on critics reviews box, I think you can maybe miss the Mandalorian Grogu has not got the best ratings from critics.
1:20I don't know if fans like it, but I don't care.
1:23I'm a Star Wars fan. So I already had to cancel my ticket this weekend because I was sick and hacking up my gut.
1:31So but yeah, no spoilers. I want to see it.
1:34OK, yeah, I gave the Mandalorian a run. I don't think I ever made it through season three.
1:39So I may have to pick it back up at some point.
1:43Yeah, it did. It felt a little bit similar to the last seasons, but also back with us mixing it up is
1:49a woman who might not be as chipper as Boggs and I today because her Green Bay Packers started running back, allegedly
1:56spending time behind bars earlier this week. Like she's been absolutely crushing it, covering everything from NFL to hoops to PGA right
2:03here at Fancy Pros and Betting Pros. She's Tara Roberts.
2:06Tara, sorry to hear about the Josh Jacobs news, but I appreciate you being here with us today.
2:11Nonetheless, my friend. Yeah, I wish it just affected my fandom.
2:14It's affecting a dynasty team, too. I already got a Marshawn Lloyd trade offer like, oh, great.
2:19Move them up the rankings. That's what we're hearing right now.
2:23A lot of news still coming out, though, potentially maybe some charges being dropped, maybe not any formal charges.
2:29We'll kind of see how that shakes out. Not really going to break that down from a fantasy perspective yet until we get a little bit more information.
2:37But as noted on today's program, we're giving you the bear case for the 11 biggest early bust, including the premium fades,
2:44mid round traps and our early QB and Titan landmines.
2:47And of course, before we jump in, shout out to everyone who's making time for us during this busy summertime stretch.
2:53Please do us a quick favor and give this video a thumbs up if you enjoy this type of content.
2:59Also, don't forget to subscribe right here to the FantasyPros YouTube channel and the audio feed.
3:04And also a quick reminder that this show is powered by our expert consensus rankings that can be found at fancypros.com slash rankings.
3:11Tara has her rankings up and updated as well as Bogman and myself and as well as Pat Erickson, Debro, Joey P,
3:17everyone here at Fancy Pros and across the industry, putting those in, updating them regularly.
3:22So check them out, fancypros.com slash rankings. And folks, let's go ahead and start with our premium fades.
3:27These are running backs and wide receivers within our top 36 overall that we're fading at current costs and bogs.
3:33Let's start with you as you're out on one of my favorite targets at the wide receiver position early in drafts.
3:40Yeah, it's Malik Nabors. And it's not, I'm not completely out.
3:43I just do think he's a reach right now.
3:46We had, you know, obviously had the ACL tear during the season, the follow-up surgery.
3:50That's what has me concerned about him. I mean, a wide receiver one coming off surgery and we're hoping is back by camp or week one.
3:58You know, that's kind of the window of when he's going to be back.
4:02I have no doubt that Malik Nabors is going to be great.
4:06I still have him as a wide receiver one, right?
4:09But I think today, if we're drafting without knowing really anything about this second follow-up surgery, which at first they were like, you know, this is pretty routine.
4:18This happened sometime. And then every internet doctor was like, yeah, that's not true at all.
4:22Scar tissue cleanup is not something that we're used to going back and doing.
4:27If it was, you would hear every player that tears her ACL doing it.
4:31So we have a little coach speak. We have a little doctor speak.
4:35The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. I expect Malik Nabors to be back early in the season, week one or week two, somewhere around that range.
4:43But any tiny setback now, he's starting on the pup and you're going to miss a big chunk of the season with him.
4:50So I expect him to be fine. But if we're talking about drafting today and having him as your wide receiver one,
4:57it just makes me a little queasy. So for that reason, I'm probably not going to be taking Malik Nabors just until
5:03we get a little more official word on how the health of the knee is.
5:08I completely understand the rationale there. Of course, this is our Sunday night recap crew.
5:12And another member of that is Dr. Deepak Chona, who continually tells us to usually fade those receivers coming off an ACL tear in their first season back.
5:21So I completely understand that. But at the same time, there's so much intrigue here for me for Nabors.
5:27There's a guy who had 170 targets as a rookie, a guy who goes over 1,200 yards and arguably playing with his best quarterback ever in his career.
5:35We'll talk more about him later. And no other targets.
5:38Yeah. And that's like the thing. Like you have guys like Isaiah Likely here are going to take a little bit of targets.
5:45Theo Johnson going to be in the mix. Boggs, I know you're in on the kid from Notre Dame a little bit more than I am, of course.
5:54Yeah, but he's not a PPR guy. He's a downfield guy.
5:57And kind of similar with Darius Slayton too, right?
6:00Yep. And Mooney. And Calvin Austin has never been a high reception guy.
6:04So who's number two? I think it's likely. But all this adds up to Nabors having a big year.
6:09The knee is just scaring me. Can't do it.
6:12Absolutely. And I can understand that. Wide receiver 9 currently ECR 20 overall.
6:16At that price tag, I'm still in. I'm willing to take the gamble just for the bowl case that maybe comes through.
6:23Tara, in or out here at wide receiver 9 ECR 20 overall late in the second round?
6:28I'm slightly out. I'm on the fence. I agree with all of those arguments for sure because it's a weird situation where
6:34we know that Nabors is going to be the dominating factor.
6:38I do love Darnell Mooney and I'm maybe excited to see him maybe get a chance to fulfill that role left behind by Wanda Robinson.
6:45But, I mean, honestly, the injury here is one of the reasons why I have a guy like CeeDee Lamb ranked higher
6:52but have a lot of concerns about him. But there's so many question marks around a lot of the guys going behind him.
6:59So then Malik is one of those guys. So it's a very weird situation in terms of our high-end wide receivers.
7:05Yeah, I have him. I have Nabors, Rasheed Rice, A.J.
7:08Brown all kind of in the same group. What is happening with these dudes?
7:12Looking forward to seeing if he can get back from that injury.
7:16But at the current price tag, it certainly is a pick that can maybe make your season or potentially tank it.
7:22So I understand Boggs wanting to avoid that. Tara, let's stay at the wide receiver position with your first fade of the evening.
7:29Yeah, I mentioned him. It's my guy, CeeDee Lamb.
7:32Unfortunately, he's got like a default. I'm ranked fairly high on him.
7:36But it's a weird default ranking because he is one of the few guys after our first four, we feel super positive.
7:42We feel good. There's no issues there, aside from a couple off-the-field issues.
7:46But we should be fine theoretically with Apuka. But all of the guys that are falling behind CeeDee Lamb are dealing with
7:53a lot of quarterback issues, a lot of injury issues.
7:56Like Justin Jefferson, quarterback issue. Drake London, quarterback issue.
7:59Blake Nabors, injury issue. It's just kind of a weird situation, right?
8:02So CeeDee Lamb is getting that default ranking, but I'm not going to lie.
8:06I'm very concerned that we might get a repeat of last season, which was a weird season because I do want to
8:13defend him a little bit because the target share looks like it decreased.
8:17The target share decreased for sure. But his overall targets was still very fine and deserving of a high-end wide receiver.
8:23He played a couple of games where he was below 10% of snaps and then below 50% of snaps in two.
8:30So when you shake it all out, there were really 11 full games that he played.
8:34He had 108 targets. That's an average of nearly 10 targets per game.
8:38He's getting targets. He's just not being very productive with them when you're playing alongside a guy like George Pickens.
8:44If George Pickens was out of the picture, I'd feel very comfortable where we had CeeDee Lamb ranked before.
8:50But I'm concerned when we look back on last year, the man didn't have a single top 10 performance in half PPR season.
8:57He had a massive drop in touchdowns. And we can say that maybe there's a scenario where George Pickens, who was playing
9:04on a contract year, thought he was going to get a big deal.
9:08Now he's having to play on the franchise hack again.
9:11Maybe he'll be a little disgruntled. Maybe he'll get an injury, ankle injury that maybe he holds out a little bit longer.
9:17Maybe there's some lackadaisical play there that we often see from him.
9:21But even then, so with his presence being on there, even at like a half capacity there, we're still looking at a
9:28situation where the best case scenario for CeeDee Lamb is probably around wide receiver 8 to 10.
9:33And that's 8 to 12, really. And that's cool.
9:35But we're drafting him over that. And that's kind of the best case scenario unless we were to have a major injury for George Pickens.
9:43So again, I'm not terrified of Lamb because the targets are going to be there.
9:48But it's the level of productivity that caps him from being able to achieve that top five upside.
9:53And the only reason right now he's getting that default ranking is, you know, hopefully we figure out exactly who was starting
10:00for quarterback for half of these wide receivers on other teams.
10:03And then we can be good to go and push them up over a guy like CeeDee Lamb.
10:08Well, and this is also a Cowboys team that their defense has improved mightily over the offseason as well.
10:14So maybe there is less passing to go around.
10:17They just gave Javante Williams a new deal as well.
10:20So they're wanting to not have to chuck it as much, not to rely on Dak Prescott's arm.
10:25I think you're right, Tara. Like best case scenario here is like you get like a Terry McLaurin, Brandon Ayoub type of holdout from GP.
10:33And then it is CeeDee Lamb back to the moon.
10:36But Boggs, currently I have Lamb 8 overall in my rankings.
10:39That's kind of right in line with consensus here.
10:42There's also 8 overall, wide receiver 5. He's kind of in the same tier for me as ARSB, Justin Jefferson.
10:48Who do you prefer between ARSB, Justin Jefferson, and Lamb?
10:51I got Sun God, Amon R. St. Brown, number 1 here.
10:54He's just the most consistent. I think he's been wide receiver 3 three years in a row, right?
11:00So like he's just the floor is insanely high for Amon R.
11:03St. Brown. So I have Lamb exactly where you guys mentioned.
11:078 overall, 5th wide receiver. But I agree with Tara.
11:10It is a little bit of a default ranking, right?
11:13Because the guys behind him, it's like Justin Jefferson.
11:15What's the quarterback situation? Same with London. Nico's been injured.
11:18Pickens, I mean, if there's anyone that knows that Pickens is going to be lazy, it's you and me, Seth.
11:24So, you know, it's definitely going to happen. And then after that, it's Olave's concussions.
11:29Neighbor's knee. Rasheed Rice is off the field. AJ Brown's getting traded to where?
11:33Right? I do think that Tara is correct in the fact that, hey, we're ranking CeeDee Lamb here kind of by default
11:40because everybody else has major questions behind him. But it's also just the nature of the beast.
11:45That's where he is. I'm probably not going to move him.
11:48I still think he has upside. I think it will come with touchdowns.
11:52I just don't know if the touchdowns are coming or not.
11:56I think they will. I think he's still a really good wide receiver.
11:59And that's a Texas guy giving an Oklahoma guy a compliment and a cowboy.
12:04But it's not with enthusiasm. It's as a baseline.
12:06Yeah. And I think that's like if you're on the clock at 7-8 overall and you take CeeDee Lamb, it's not a
12:13pick that you're going to jump out of your seat for.
12:16But yeah, we're still doing it. So Tara, though, warning us, hey, maybe he has a potential bust.
12:22And Boggs, I want to stay with you here because you have a running back up next that kind of the new hotness on the street.
12:30It's not a rookie, but it's someone who switches teams here.
12:33And the excitement has casually built back up over the offseason.
12:36Yeah. I apologize for people who have heard me say this about Ken Walker already.
12:41And I sound like the biggest Ken Walker hater on all these podcasts.
12:45I've done a bunch of bust podcasts with Dynasty and now here.
12:48But yeah, man, like Ken Walker in terms of skill is 100 percent one of the best running backs in the league.
12:55I have no doubt about that. And I think people see that.
12:59They see the performance in the Super Bowl and they go, well, now you're going to a Kansas City team that's been
13:05needing this running back for a long time. Holmes is coming off an injury here.
13:10Regardless of when he plays, he's coming off a major injury.
13:13So let's give the ball to Kenny Walker a lot and watch him go.
13:17But 26 in touches last year. 48th in carries inside the five.
13:21Right. That's behind Travion Henderson. Kenneth Gainwell. Woody Marks had a higher percentage of team carries inside the five.
13:27Zero games with more than 20 touches. He had two with 20 during the regular season.
13:32Nine games with under 15. Right. And this is a guy that has proven to us.
13:36He cannot be a three down back, carry a full workhorse load and stay healthy.
13:41He has not stayed healthy. He started his career with a hamstring injury in camp.
13:45He missed the opener after hernia surgery, plus one of the game with an ankle issues.
13:50Rookie year missed a couple of weeks in 2023 to an ab issue in 2024.
13:55He missed two weeks with an oblique early and then didn't play after week 12.
13:59And last year was the first year he stayed healthy because they limited his touches on a daily basis, on a weekly basis.
14:06So I just don't trust this guy to stay on the field if you're going to overload him with carries.
14:12And they might do that if Mahomes starts the first month on the pup.
14:17They might overload him with carries to start. And then you're going to get a very limited amount of touches on the back end.
14:24So I just think that he's too expensive for where I want to buy him.
14:28Currently, his ECR, I believe, is running back 11 and I have him at 16.
14:33Okay. 26 overall currently for K-Dub 3. And obviously, if you are fading him, it's like one of two scenarios I see Boggs.
14:40Like either A, you do still draft him hesitantly at that cost.
14:43And then you just ship him quickly after, you know, he's going to be in primetime early in the season.
14:49You try to move him right off of one of those games.
14:53Or are you investing in Emmitt Johnson then? It sounds like you might be going that way, Boggs.
14:58Obviously, he's a talented runner coming out of Nebraska.
15:01So would that be your play? Would you rather just, if you don't end up with Kenneth Walker in your drafts, would
15:08you still draft Emmitt Johnson as a late round dart throw?
15:11Late round dart throw is a nice way to put him.
15:14But I think he is more valuable to whoever's rostering Walker, right?
15:18Okay. He's a handcuff, I feel like, for most scenarios.
15:21And, you know, the more shallow your bench, the less likely I am to take him at Johnson.
15:27But deep bench, throw a dart, why not? Yeah, this is a Chiefs team too.
15:31Like they were just signing every UDFA running back there was, man.
15:35Like it was Terry and Stewart, Jay Nott. Like they were just loading up on all my guys.
15:40Kareem Hunt is still out there. And Kareem is still out there too.
15:44So yeah, it could get uglier faster. But as it stands right now, it's Emmitt Johnson.
15:49It is Brashard Smith in that backfield. Amari DiMercato coming over from Arizona as well.
15:53And Tara, that's right where I want to go with this next player that you're spotlighting here.
15:59Someone out in that Arizona backfield. Yeah, Jeremiah Love.
16:01It's just an issue of, I think the ADP is appropriate in theory.
16:05But there's a lot of associated risk of where you're drafting him.
16:09Because it's literally, it makes sense. Because it's literally right on par with where Ashton Gentty finished last year.
16:15And his situation is very similar to what Jeremiah Love is going to be walking into.
16:19Bad team. Shaky quarterback situation. I love Jacoby Brissett, so no offense.
16:23I'll talk about that in a second. But shaky quarterback situation in terms of if they switch to a rookie or not.
16:30Offensive line, questionable, right? Although I don't think it is as bad or as destitute as the Raiders was for sure.
16:36But in theory, I think it's a very appropriate, realistic finish for him.
16:40But the problem is, is that if it's much like Ashton Gentty, there's going to be highs and lows, right?
16:46So we're drafting him. And the overall results are going to be like, okay, it works for where we paid off.
16:52But the experience was not exactly what we would have liked and productive from a fantasy perspective.
16:57You get super high ceilings where he catches eight passes and gets a good chunk yardage and maybe gets a touchdown, right?
17:04And then you've got a game where the checkdowns aren't there.
17:07And he gets 20 yards on the ground because the line is terrible.
17:11It's also an awful schedule. And that's kind of the second issue there is because there's good and bad.
17:17The schedule is disturbingly bad, I guess is the best way to put it.
17:21When you look at it and you think, okay, well, okay, good news would be, all right, there's going to be Jacoby Brissette playing from behind.
17:29God love him and his garbage time. 40 plus attempts, love to check down, works out perfectly.
17:34We should get excellent fantasy production from Jeremiah Love.
17:37But that also becomes the issue of when we're looking at that, they're going to get stomped every single game.
17:43Realistically, when you're looking at, and they've got a week 14 by, I think.
17:47When you're looking at it realistically, there's like one team in there that they could beat theoretically the Giants.
17:53And even then so with the changes that they have made, that's asking a lot.
17:58So this is a team that could go 0-4 for a very long time.
18:02And at what point are they saying? We know they want to tank, but at what point do they say, okay, let's
18:08go out there and give Carson Beck a try.
18:11And when you throw in the rookies, that's where things go awry.
18:15Because I trust this system to work for the purpose that we need from a fantasy perspective with Jacoby Brissette.
18:21I don't trust that system with Carson Beck. Because one, it'll either be a complete disaster.
18:26And at that point, we already know Jacoby Brissette is a disgruntled player because of his contract situation.
18:31So it can easily turn into one of those situations where you can't go back to your veteran who was more stable
18:38because he refuses and maybe has an injury or something like that because he was a little frustrated.
18:43Or maybe Carson Beck is good. And by good, he wants to throw to all of his big receivers and pass catchers downfield.
18:50And we don't get the checkdowns that we were looking for with Jacoby Brissette.
18:54So there's a lot of variables in here that are happening.
18:58And I think I might just want to sit this one out and not have to deal with it and go with
19:04more stable options that are being drafted after him.
19:07It's totally understandable, Tara, specifically because, I mean, we do have Tyler Algier in this backfield, folks.
19:12And like, this is a guy who- And James Conner.
19:15Yeah. Yeah. And like, Algier specifically too, 150 plus attempts on average over the past three seasons with sharing the backfield with
19:22Bijan Robinson, one of the best running backs in the NFL.
19:25Plus, then you also have a guy who's known to vulture, right?
19:29Eight touchdowns last year. He was a guy, if you're betting any time touchdowns, you were pretty happy last year with him.
19:35And like, I like Mike LaFleur as a play caller, but Nathaniel Hackett's also going to be in that mix.
19:41That kind of, you know, yeah, yeah. As you know, as a Packers fan, Tara, right?
19:46Yes. Not the most friendly offensive coordinator, sometimes two skill positions.
19:50So there is a lot going, you know, wrong potentially for Jeremiah Love as a rookie, but the price tag is reasonable,
19:56Boggs, at least RB 13, 29 overall. I mean, last year I was taking Gentee as like middle of the first round.
20:03I was all in. I was kind of the, you know, part of the problem pushing up his ECR, pushing up his ADP a lot.
20:10But I'm okay with it here. We didn't know the whole O-line was going to fall apart.
20:16Yeah, that didn't help. And Geno Smith, you know, thought he could just fit into every single window.
20:21There are concerns for Jeremiah Love. Where do you land, Boggs?
20:24Because I think I'm still in at the price tag, but I don't think that price tag is going to be there
20:31very long, specifically once we get, you know, closer to Labor Day and redrafts are firing up.
20:36And get some highlights. And we've seen the shiny new rookie.
20:39Yeah. And then we have preseason games go off too.
20:42Yeah. And get some highlights from camp of Jeremiah Love making people look like fools.
20:47Yeah. The price is going to go up for sure.
20:50I'm at 15. I do think it's a different scenario from Gentee last year.
20:54Like it was a perfect storm for Gentee last year.
20:57And they work in different ways, right? Like Gentee is a volume guy.
21:01You want him to have crazy volume because his superpower is stamina.
21:05Good point. In the fourth quarter, he's still running you over when you are sucking wind.
21:10That's how he wins. Jeremiah Love wins more with finesse.
21:13So I think he's going to catch more passes, right?
21:16I think his floor on a week-to-week basis is higher than Gentee's last year.
21:20So I do hold out more hope for Love this year.
21:23But we can take the lesson that we learned last year from Gentee and say, Hey, a rookie running back on a
21:30team specifically with good depth at running back is probably going to specifically on the back end start to see less usage.
21:36And if the parachutes don't go off, what is the point of making everything else work?
21:41Like they said in Apollo 13, right? So I'm probably going to be out on current costs.
21:46That's why I'm a little bit below ECR right now.
21:49And I'll draft Jeremiah Love, but I'll draft Jeremiah Love if he falls, not at his current cost.
21:55Yeah. And he's probably not going to fall in a ton of leagues.
21:59So you're going to have to be on one side of the fence or the other.
22:04The last thing I'll note too is like Gentee did have, I think, the worst finish for running back drafted inside the top 10 in the last decade.
22:12I think Leonard Fournette was the next to last.
22:15So, you know, there's a four, but maybe those guys too, by the way.
22:19Yeah. Maybe the ceiling just isn't there. Tara's kind of telling us here in year number one.
22:24And guys, speaking of young, youthful assets here in fantasy, when you're on the clock for your dynasty startup, rookie draft, or
22:31even redraft, you don't have time to think. So you're going to need some answers on the fly.

24:11Amazon Health AI presents Painful Thoughts. Why did I search the internet for answers to my cold sore problem?
24:17Now I'm stuck down a rabbit hole filled with images of alarmingly graphic sores in various stages of ooze.
24:22I can clear my search history, but I can never unsee that.
24:26Don't go down the rabbit hole. Amazon Health AI gets you the right care fast.
24:31Healthcare just got less painful. Let the record show this was a choice made before Todd Bowles came out talking about a
24:37return for Bucky Irving in the summer fall timeline.
24:40The summer fall. I've got video evidence. Oh, gosh.
24:43But yeah, no, I was prepared for a full fade.
24:46I felt pretty good about this one. This one where you were talking about, what was it, Kenneth Walker having to say
24:52being out on him multiple times and fading him.
24:55This is my version of that. I've talked a lot about being out on Bucky, unfortunately, because while I do think that
25:02he is going to be the lead back, health pending, the lead back of that team, the problem is that I know
25:08that it feels like an overreaction when you say, oh, well, they added Kenneth Gainwell.
25:13They've got Sean Tucker. But it's not that they're taking over the jobs.
25:17It's the combination of little chipping away by multiple running backs.
25:20I'm not expecting the same egregious level of checkdowns that we got for Kenneth Gainwell in Pittsburgh from Aaron Rodgers.
25:26That was an outlier, right? But all things equal him being added into this offense.
25:31He is a clear upgraded version on Rashad White in terms of all of his abilities all around, right?
25:36And preferably we would want to see him in that pass catching role, right?
25:41And arguably, you know, obviously Bucky is great with that.
25:44But I would say that Kenneth Gainwell does have the edge on Bucky over that.
25:48So taking away a little bit of that does make sense.
25:52We've already had Zach Robinson, the offensive coordinator, coming out.
25:55They've got very same. They've got very similar skill sets and whatnot and can play very well off of each other.
26:01Then we also have the known of when Bucky Irving did come back from that injury.
26:06You know, we had multiple backs in terms of Sean Tucker and Rashad White contributing last year while he was out.
26:12But when he returned, that didn't go away. We had multiple usage.
26:16And the real key there that was a major issue wasn't just the receiving work of Rashad White.
26:21It was Sean Tucker sniping at the goal line.
26:24And we might say, hey, it's Bucky. Like, that was random.
26:27That's not going to happen. Bucky is going to continue to get those goal line looks.
26:32But there's one little problem, and that problem is Zach Robinson.
26:35We just talked about Tyler Algier. Zach Robinson is the same man that was doing that.
26:40If he was giving Tyler Algier up-teens touchdowns at the goal line, sniping B.
26:44John Robinson of all people, I don't know if the argument for that Bucky is impervious to that and it's not going to happen really works here.
26:53If he operated that way before, there's no reason that he won't operate that way again with a running back and it
26:59has proven to be very effective in that one aspect of short yardage carries, right, and converting.
27:04So that's my major concern here. And then now we throw on top of all of that the issue of this news
27:11that, yeah, he's still dealing with some injury issues, recovering.
27:14We don't have an exact timeline. Summer is about here.
27:17We hear the words fall in the recovery timeline, and that's football season.
27:21So considering how we got duped on the injury timeline last year in terms of it just carrying out, I've got a lot of concerns now.
27:29They're just piling up and piling up and piling up.
27:32Realistically, are we going to be getting RB1 upside out of him?
27:35No. I think we need to look at him more as somebody who is probably going to offer us low-end RB2 upside
27:42and draft him appropriately and maybe be a little bit more wary now that we know that there's still an injury issue in the mix.
27:50I'm completely with you. Signed Seal deliver this for me because, like, I just think Bucky Irving, he was so incredibly inefficient down the stretch last season.
27:58Averaged .67 fancy points per opportunity. I mean, that's the 62nd best at the position, 3.4 yards per carry.
28:03And, like, this was while facing a stacked front and only 3.5% of carries.
28:08That's the 48th highest among running backs. I don't think the opposing defenses will really have to respect the Tampa Bay passing
28:14game as much as they did when they had Mike Evans, who they were worried about maybe going over the top on him.
28:21So I'm completely there with you. You factor in Kenneth Gainwell, who definitely, I think, to your mention, like, probably an outlier
28:28season, but still 5th among running backs in targets, 4th in receptions, and 5th in receiving yards.
28:33So I think he could become Baker Mayfield's best friend.
28:36And, like, Sean Tucker, too, man. This guy has a nose for the end zone, whether it's here in the NFL, whether
28:43it's at the time of Syracuse, would not have fallen out of the NFL draft a couple years ago and gone undrafted
28:49if it wasn't for some medical red flag. So I'm 100% with you here.
28:54I am fading Bucky Irving. He, right now, RB19 and ECR50 overall.
28:57This has started to creep down already terribly because I think people like you, myself, I know Boggs is out on him.
29:04I think Andrew Erickson is already out on him.
29:07So, like, it's starting to creep down, but it's still not at a price.
29:11Like, give me Cam Scadaboo, who's going to get more of the lion's share work.
29:15Give me someone like Javante Williams in that same tier.
29:18So 100% there with you. I still have Bucky, like, ahead of Scadaboo.
29:22Oh, do you really? I do, but, like, give me positive reports about Scadaboo off this injury.
29:27He can easily move ahead. Same thing with Judkins.
29:30I was just about to say, do you have Judkins above him?
29:34No, I have him above Judkins now. Really positive stuff coming out of Cleveland on Judkins this week.
29:39Great. Great. I mean, so let me see some positivity from these guys.
29:43And I saw Jadarian Price blow him, who I think I'm going to move up.
29:48I'm just, I'm going to be a Jadarian Price fan for sure.
29:51So, yeah, I think that the really, the Bucky's not coming back till the blood moon of the fall or whatever the hell we just said.
29:59It's just ridiculous. Like, I don't know, man. Yeah, it's with positive reports from these guys coming off big injuries or having
30:06different roles or whatever it is, plus negative reports about Bucky.
30:09That's just going to be a moving line the whole offseason until Bucky comes back and shows us something.
30:15Now, I will say this. It was super annoying because the way they made it sound like when Bucky was coming back
30:21last year, it was going to be a three-headed monster that was gross, and it just went back to Bucky, which was super annoying.
30:29But, so if Bucky's healthy, I want to be back in.
30:32I just don't know if we're going to get there.
30:35Just someone who needs a fade throughout the offseason, like we kind of mentioned some of those guys, Cam Scadaboo, Quinshaw, Judkins,
30:42Chavante, give me the guaranteed touches specifically in the passing game and inside the 20, right?
30:46Because you're going to get a guy between the 20s here, maybe a Bucky Irving, who doesn't have the red zone equity
30:53and maybe doesn't have the pass-catching equity either. Box, let's stay at the running back position once again.
30:59Who are you fading in this tier? Yeah, apparently I'm not tired of Twitter yelling at me about this yet, so it's going to be Bayshel Tootin.
31:07And look, let me just preface this by saying I expect Bayshel Tootin to be the lead back for Jacksonville this year.
31:13So just let's get that out of the way.
31:16I do expect him to be the lead this year, but I think that this could be broken up into three spots,
31:23kind of like we just talked about with Bucky, right?
31:26And it is a Kmart version of the Tampa Bay situation.
31:29It's a worse version of the Tampa Bay situation, but I think it could be the same where Tootin needs to lead back.
31:36He gets everything between the 20s. Once we get there, then it's Chris Rodriguez for the end zone.
31:41And on passing downs, we could see more LaQuint Allen.
31:44It would not be shocking to see this. And I really like Jamari Taylor, who they picked up as a UDFA as well.
31:51I think he might be able to push somebody off this roster as well.
31:56So it's not that I don't expect Tootin to be the lead back.
32:00I do. And the last time I got drugged for this, it was from a dynasty angle, which is even more I
32:06don't trust Tootin in a dynasty angle. Like, you know, they could easily draft a big running back next year and push everybody off this roster.
32:14It would not be shocking or sign someone. There's a lot of big UFAs at running back next going in next season.
32:21So I think that this is going to be more of a mix than we thought.
32:26So I just don't, I'm not as enthusiastic about Tootin as everybody else is.
32:30That's it. I think he could easily have goal line and passing situations pulled away from him and it would not be shocking.
32:37That's why I'm not in on Tootin. I'm willing to be wrong.
32:40And I think the most likely scenario is Bucky, or Bucky, is Tootin leads Jacksonville by a decent margin.
32:46I just don't know if I trust it to happen to where I'm reaching for him.
32:51The guys that we just mentioned, Scadaboo, Price, Judkins, all in that range, I'd much rather have all those guys.
32:57Again, like I don't want to sound like a broken record and then I'm just trying to glaze you guys up.
33:03But like, I feel very, very similar because this is another person.
33:07I think he's a between the 20s guy, right?
33:10Because Chris Rodriguez, what is he good? He's good at running north and south.
33:14He's good on the goal line. And LaQuinn Allen Jr., again, another Syracuse running back, I think a little underrated for his pass catching chops specifically.
33:22So I think Tootin, a guy who didn't really push Travis Etienne that hard last year, specifically when like Etienne was fine,
33:28especially for fantasy, he was really good. But like his efficiency metrics, not great by any standpoint.
33:33So I just think Tootin might be a little bit overinflated.
33:37But Tara, I'd love to hear your opinion on him as well.
33:40Do you think maybe there is a second year breakout looming for Tootin?
33:44I do. I'm pro Tootin. I'm one of those nuts on Twitter.
33:48No. Were you attacking me, Tara? It was me on the burner.
33:52Yeah, with a little tiger paw in the background.
33:54No, I promise it wasn't me. But I am pro Tootin, yeah.
33:58But the thing is, is that I think you guys are 100% correct about like, we're taking Scadaboo and Judkins over him for sure.
34:05So I think at cost, we've got a good situation going because I can't see him going in.
34:11Like maybe he crosses a David Montgomery, maybe. But even then, so once we figure out like that Monty is the guy guy, then probably not.
34:18So we're probably going to be drafting Tootin as an RB3.
34:22So at value, I'm good with it because we're not going to be overdrafting him.
34:26And you know, the big, the biggest concern. And his ETR is 25.
34:30I haven't met 30. Like he is, he's still an RB3.
34:34You're absolutely correct, Tara. I just want to point that out.
34:37Yeah. And the biggest thing that I, you know, the big question mark is the pass catching, right?
34:42Because Kula Quentin Allen Jr. I think is arguably more proven in that area and better.
34:47And we'll need to see how Tootin has improved and blocking and whatnot.
34:51But the key for me in terms of feeling good about Tootin is like he was incredibly efficient in the red zone.
34:58And for the little, you know, touches that it didn't seem like we thought he would creep in on ETN more.
35:04The usage in the red zone was very key.
35:07Multiple touchdowns there. Two receiving touchdowns. Had just two receptions converted both for receiving touchdowns.
35:11He was actually more successful at the goal line inside the five than Travis ETN was.
35:16So that was like really specific usage for a rookie for me.
35:20So it leaves me feeling encouraged. Like I know we've got that whole college connection with Chris Rodriguez and, you know, we
35:26know he's good at the goal line. But arguably, I think Tootin has just as much of a right, maybe more of an incumbent right to that.
35:35So we'll see how it shakes out. But as long as it stays in this range, I'm willing to take a chance.
35:41Just especially because I expect that Jacksonville offense to continue in a positive direction there.
35:46Okay. Let's go to Western New York, Tara next for your next fade where I was up there this past weekend, maybe an hour south of Orchard Park.
35:54And that's where we had my bachelor party. I was playing golf on Saturday in 45 degree weather.
36:00Wind was 20 to 40 miles per hour. I'll never forget it.
36:03What a time it was. But that's sometimes what you can expect up there in Western PA is quite some weather, maybe not a factor anymore.
36:11We're not doing that, Seth. We're hurt down south.
36:14We are not doing that cold. I know. Sometimes you just got to gut it out with the boys and the girls
36:20and get out there on the course, no matter what the conditions are.
36:24But Tara, you might not think weather is maybe a factor with the Bills new stadium, but maybe is there something else
36:31going on there that doesn't have you keying in here on DJ Moore from a fantasy standpoint?
36:36Yeah. Unfortunately, it's just way too many bodies. I mean, the wide receiver core for Buffalo was already a problem.
36:42Now we throw DJ Moore into the mix and I don't see them massively increasing pass volume because we've got a lot of continuation of things.
36:50We got a new head coach, but that head coach has implemented a system that has been in existence for years.
36:56I don't think we're going to change. And we've progressively seen two years now since he's been in control, a decrease in passing volume.
37:04And the thing, unfortunately, is there, you know, whether regardless or not, we don't have consistent pass volume out of Josh Allen.
37:10And it's no negative towards him, right? It's just because he doesn't have to, right?
37:15Because when you can win with your legs, you don't need to put up 300 plus yards every single week.
37:21You can win with less than 20 completions very easily there.
37:24And so when we're looking at DJ Moore being inserted into this offense and nothing being taken away, my fear is that
37:31I'm not necessarily concerned that DJ Moore hit a cliff because I know there's a lot of people thinking, you know, I
37:37think he hit a cliff based off last year.
37:40I mean, 17 full games and 50 receptions is nasty work.
37:43But at the end of the day, the Bears was a weird setup last year.
37:48So I can excuse it because, again, that was another situation where they had, you know, a great system, but two very talented rookie pass catchers added in.
37:56And it was a setup for him to lose target share from the jump, right?
38:01But my problem here is that I just, I'm glad he got out of Buffalo, but I wish it was to, or
38:08out of Chicago, but I wish it was to anywhere else.
38:11I don't think he's going to thrive in Buffalo.
38:14At the end of the day, we're looking at this and we're looking at the system and we're looking at Josh Allen.
38:20We're going to probably get him in that same kind of, not obviously a Khalil Shakir role, but if you remember what
38:27happened with Khalil Shakir last year, it was wildly unpredictable.
38:30You'd have a fantastic fantasy game and then you'd turn around and get zero fantasy points.
38:35And there was no real way to tell when the booms were going to happen.
38:39So good luck trying to predict it. I see no reason why suddenly we get DJ Moore in there and they will
38:46add in enough pass volume to make him the single consistent pass catcher with the addition of even another rookie wide receiver
38:53and Skylar Bell as well, trying to make it work with Keon Coleman.
38:57It's just a whole lot of bodies in there.
38:59And we're getting a discount on DJ Moore, but is the upside really there?
39:03I don't know that it is. I think the only thing going in his direction for a bull case would be, hey,
39:10this is Joe Brady, a guy who likes DJ Moore, had one of his best seasons with DJ Moore running out there for the Panthers.
39:18However, that was a long time ago, right? A lot's changed.
39:21Has DJ Moore fallen off? Was he just kind of out of the rotation and out of the good graces of Ben Johnson company in Chicago?
39:29We shall see. Boggs, where are you at in your rankings on DJ Moore?
39:33Because currently wide receiver 28 in ECR. I'm 29, 61 overall.
39:36Does that sound about right or is that a little too rich for your blood and tear?
39:41I'd also love to hear where you have him ranked currently.
39:45No, I got him at 26. I'm more positive on DJ Moore than y'all are.
39:49And it's not, I'll admit, the wide receiver room in Buffalo is gray and murky, right?
39:54Like, I think that's kind of why we have concerns.
39:57Right, right. Gray and gross, right? Like, what is going to happen here?
40:01But I think that DJ Moore is by far the best wide receiver on this roster.
40:06And I think he's the best wide receiver that probably Josh Allen has had since Diggs, right?
40:11Like, it's just been, yeah, it's just been a lot of, you know, trying Amari Cooper and Brandon Cooks and just trying
40:18to find somebody else to put next to Shakir, who is insanely inconsistent, as we mentioned.
40:23So I think DJ Moore is going to work.
40:25I want him as my third wide receiver in Buffalo because he's tied to Josh Allen and Brady, right?
40:31I think this is just going to be a little more open.
40:35And I think getting McDermott out is probably going to open up this offense way more.
40:39So I'm positive on DJ Moore, but I will admit it could be Skyla Bell by the end of the season, right?
40:46Like, I just don't know exactly how it's going to go.
40:49I don't think DJ Moore is washed. I think he's still got a little bit in him.
40:55So I'm going to be risking and taking him as my wide receiver three where I can.
41:00Tara, where's he at in your rankings? I don't know.
41:03It's a drastic difference. He's my wide receiver 31.
41:05So yeah, wide receiver, wide receiver three. Okay. Yeah.
41:08It kind of the same way I feel about tootin', right?
41:11It's like, yes, he's still a wide receiver three.
41:14He's just at the bottom of my wide receiver three.
41:17So he's the last option. I'll take, I'll hold my nose to take him, but I can still draft him.
41:23Not undraftable. Boggs, let's stay at the wide receiver position for your final fade in this tier of 36 through 75 in the ECR.
41:30All right. The skill is great, right? He's a very good deep option for anybody.
41:35He's a very good wide receiver. But I mean, I don't want a guy that cannot stay on the field.
41:4148 games in his career. He has missed 20 games in his career.
41:45He's had six games with five or more receptions across four seasons.
41:49He's had six games with over 100 yards. He never played every game in a season.
41:53He's super boom or bust for you as well.
41:56So you just add up all these things, right?
41:59He is injured or on the injury report a lot too, which is also super annoying because you don't know when to play him.
42:06He is boom or bust in his performances. And at any point he could go down, I think Jaden Reed is going
42:13to be way better coming into this season healthy.
42:15I hope Matthew Golden takes another step. The Packers get Tucker Kraft back as well.
42:20Obviously, we don't know what's going on with Josh Jacobs right now.
42:24They see Jordan Love do the Jacoby Brissett because he just don't have a running game.
42:28But I just think that there's too many pieces that are going to take more targets in this offense with Reed Kraft
42:35coming back and Golden in his second year. And I just can't stomach rostering a guy that is constantly on the injury report all the time.
42:43It's super annoying to me. I don't like it.
42:46So I'm just not going to be rostering Christian Watson anywhere.
42:49It's so funny how we've kind of done this like hokey pokey.
42:53Like you got your one foot in one foot out with Watson.
42:56Like people are kind of fading him last draft season.
42:59And then, of course, he comes back midseason. He was great.
43:03Yeah. And he was awesome. So now people are back in and Boggs.
43:06I'm kind of like I didn't think I was going to be out on Watson.
43:11But then when I looked at his overall ECR 57 overall wide receiver 27, I have in my spot.
43:17I had a DJ more. Yeah, I'm at 71.
43:19So I am like 14 spots below consensus. And it's not because like I don't like I love Christian Watson, man.
43:26I have a ton of ton of shares in Dynasty still from a couple years ago when I was drafting him in
43:32the late first round of rookie drafts. The issue is exactly what you said.
43:37It's the health concern. And it's also the fact like, hey, now we are paying up to like Christian Watson.
43:43If you take him here, he's probably not your wide receiver for right.
43:47He's not your bench wide receiver. He's a starter.
43:49You need to rely on every single week. And I don't know if I want to do that.
43:55Tara, you being the resident Packers fan, are you willing to do that at current costs and have him as one of
44:01your like, you know, guys weekend and week out relying on?
44:05Because, again, I love the talent. Just I don't love the price.
44:08You know, I'm neither in nor out, ironically. Like if I were to compare to another team of a guy who I
44:15have ranked lower than him, but I would nine times out of ten probably maybe pass on Christian Watson and try to shoot for the upside.
44:23Like I have a Quentin Johnston ranked lower, but I feel more optimistic about Quentin Johnston making it through an entire season
44:30in a great system with a ton of targets and touchdowns.
44:33So I would lean that direction. So, yeah, I'm neither in nor out.
44:37But ironically, I think I will be taking a lot of late round dark rows at Matthew Golden because I think he
44:43kind of offers what I don't know if I'm sold on, Ray, but I think Golden offers the happy medium, right?
44:50In terms of extreme reliability. He's the only one out there.
44:53He does exactly what he was sold on in terms of why they drafted him.
44:58He can run a route exactly as is and he can catch a ball and not drop it.
45:03And that seems to be a problem for the vast majority of Packers receivers.
45:07I mean, there's the benefit of the fact that we have thinned out the receiving core.
45:12Thank God on that one with Romeo Dobbs and Don Tateman Wicks out of there.
45:17So at least it won't be that spread around and we will have to see, you know, how how does Tucker Craft come back?
45:24Is there a slow ramp up or anything? But at least it's thinned out.
45:28And while the ranking has gone up a little bit, I think it's still not super egregious right now.
45:34Let's keep it moving. But before we do a quick reminder that today's show is brought to you by our presenting sponsor, Hard Rock Bet, Florida's official sportsbook.
45:42And we talk a ton of football on this particular program.

47:40Let's continue this party, folks, with our QB and tight end landmines.
47:44These are players inside our top 12 of the quarterback rankings or top 10 of the tight ends that we're actively avoiding at cost and bogs.
47:51I want to start out here at the quarterback position because it's a player that I can't stop drafting in Dynasty particularly, but also in redraft.
47:59I'm all the way in. I don't know if it's because I've gotten really into sports card collecting over the past couple months.
48:06And like this guy's cards are going for thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars.
48:11But I'm all the way in, and I think you're all the way out.
48:16It's not that I'm all the way out, right?
48:18Our instruction on this point specifically was to pick a quarterback within the top 10.
48:23That is going to be a bit of a reach.
48:26I think all of their nine are great. So to me, it has to be Jackson Dart.
48:31So I love Jackson Dart. I think he is great.
48:34I think he brought a lot of fun to this offense last year.
48:38The rushing upside puts him in, you know, the top 10 category without a doubt.
48:43But if we're picking one of the guys inside the top 10 to not reach his expectation, I think it has to be Dart, right?
48:50He had concussions issues, and he runs around like a crash test dummy.
48:54So to me, you had three options here. It was Dart, Daniels, or maybe Hurts.
48:59Those are my three options. So to me, it's going to be the lowest guy on this group.
49:04It's going to be Dart. Also, I mentioned Malik Nabors at the top, right?
49:08We're not 100% sure what is happening with him.
49:11Expect him to be okay for most of the season.
49:14The beginning of the season can be weird. And then Cam Scadaboo is coming off an injury.
49:19There's no one with less options to throw to inside that top 10 either.
49:23There's no one with him. Maybe you want to say Jaden Daniels, but they've got Chig, and they've got some decent running
49:30backs that can catch the ball as well. So, you know, if Malik Nabors doesn't play, it's really thin at wide receiver.
49:37And even if he does play, it's really thin at wide receiver.
49:40So if we're picking one of these quarterbacks to kind of drop, I think it has to be Dart.
49:46So, and thank you for letting me start, even though Tara did pick before me.
49:50So, Tara, I want to hear your thoughts in the bear case here on Dart, because this is someone who had eight
49:57quarterback one finishes last season, and he didn't even start the whole season, right?
50:01He missed over a month of playing time due to just not being out there, whether that's injuries, whether that was just riding the pine for Russell Wilson.
50:10So what do you think it is about Dart that concerns you about being a top 10 ranked quarterback?
50:16To be blunt, it's Matt Nagy. That's it. Now, Boggs pointed out the whole issues with the pass catchers and whatnot.
50:22I'm probably a little bit more aggressive about my fade on Jackson Dart.
50:26It's not a default of this. It's that he is my one guy, even in like the top 15 or so, that I look at.
50:33And I've got concerns about the offense as a whole because of the coordinator.
50:38And that's really the big issue there. You know, Matt Nagy has proven time and time again that he cannot properly develop a young quarterback.
50:45And Jackson Dart, no offense to him, the arm, the talent, the legs, upside, all fantastic.
50:50But he's still young. And especially we see these year two regressions happen so much.
50:54And you need coaching in there that can stop that from happening or at least mitigate it a little bit.
51:00And I've just got no faith that Matt Nagy has someone that will show up in meetings.
51:06Someone, something, someone. I mean, we've witnessed these young quarterbacks just be decimated by Matt Nagy.
51:10And I would love him to prove me wrong on this one.
51:14Please do. I desperately need, as you, I need him on some dynasty tapes too.
51:19Like, I want to be wrong on this one.
51:21But unfortunately, I've just got zero faith that all of that wonderful progress that we saw for Jackson Dart last year is
51:28just not decimated by the coaching situation. And the more so issue there is that this is not like it.
51:34Like, if you were to look at Matt Nagy in Kansas City, right, it's a nice cushy job.
51:39But if something goes wrong with Nagy, Andy Reid can nix that and fix the issue.
51:44John Harbaugh can't do that. We are reliant on Matt Nagy here to push Jackson Dart forward.
51:49So that's it. I wish it was literally anybody else of all the choices.
51:54I mean, we see Brian Dable go over. And I'm so excited for what he can do for Cam Ward because, you
52:00know, all head coaching issues aside, he can, you know, develop a quarterback.
52:04And I'm just, I feel bad for the situation that Jackson Dart is being put into with the coaching situation.
52:10Hopefully he can push past that and his talent can push forward and make it a non-issue.
52:15But at the ADP that we are drafting him, that's a concern, especially because it's probably going to look like spike weeks.
52:22Like, fantastic. QB5 overall performance and then drop down to QB22.
52:25Inconsistency, unfortunately, in pass volume. And if the legs and the touchdowns aren't making up for it, it might be a nasty week.
52:32QB7 and ECR 68 overall currently is the price tag for Jackson's Dart.
52:36It sounds like Tara and Boggs will not have him if that price stands.
52:40I will. I'll take all the Jackson Dart I can get here in fancy.
52:45I'll take all the Jackson Dart Bowman Chrome cards as well.
52:48So send those over. Hit me up on Twitter.
52:51DM me. Maybe we can get a little deal in there.
52:54Let's go ahead, though. Let's round it out here with tight ends.
52:58Boggs, who are you fading at the tight end position inside our top 10?
53:02Yeah, and this is more of a tier fade than a specific player fade.
53:06So I have Sam Laporta listed here. But what I'm really looking at is getting a tight end inside the top seven.
53:13And my top seven are McBride, Bowers, Loveland, Kraft, Warren, Fannin, and Pitts.
53:17That's how I have it. I have Isaiah Likely ahead of Laporta in the next tier.
53:21I mean, look, I don't like Matt Nagy either.
53:24But Trey Burton finishes tight end eight with him, right?
53:27And then he had Kelsey and Komet. He relies on the tight end a lot.
53:32So I do really like Isaiah Likely this year as a bump up.
53:36But for me, it's just if you get down to this, if you get down past the top end of tight end
53:42into you haven't taken one in the top seven, just piecemeal it, man.
53:46There are so many here that can fit. So just play matchups.
53:50Play week to week. Because I have 8 to 14 as a group, and that is, you know, we're going to be fading Gadsden.
53:57But after that, Goddard is still your tight end one in Philly.
54:01And A.J. Brown is going to be gone. Man, Chigakonkwo is now the number two option in Washington, right?
54:06A.J. Barnard had a bunch of touchdowns on the back end last year.
54:10Jawan Johnson is still there. Hunter Henry, you know, the Patriots didn't add enough targets.
54:15There are tight ends to play matchups with. So for me, if I don't get one in that top seven, I am taking a tight end low.
54:23And the deeper my benches are, the more I'll just take two and play matchups.
54:28So it is about Sam Laporta and not being in that tier.
54:31I just, I don't want a guy that is hurt all the time like Sam Laporta.
54:36That's a thing of mine, just like with Christian Watson, right?
54:39Laporta's had back injury, knee injury, all this stuff.
54:42So I don't want the injury prone guy. So I'll say Laporta specifically.
54:46But really, it's outside that top seven. I'm playing matchups.
54:49Isaiah Likely is going to be one of my guys.
54:52And then I'll take somebody else. Yeah, I'm pretty much there with you.
54:56I just don't see the value in using and burning a top 100 pick on someone like Sam Laporta when we get down.
55:03Like this is a year, and I think we're pretty in line as a company right now.
55:08Like I want a top seven tight end. I want to go get Tyler Warren.
55:13I want Loveland. I want Trey McBride. I want Bowers on my team.
55:17I want Fan and Kraft, Pitts, like any of those guys.
55:20But if I can't get them. BTJ, Pollard, Lemon, Godwin are all going behind Laporta.
55:24Give me one of those guys. Yep, I completely agree.
55:27Like I'll roll the dice on a rookie. I'll roll the dice that Chig is who I think he is.
55:33So 100% in lockstep with you. And Tara, I'm also kind of almost in line with you here on your tight end fade as well.
55:41Yeah, it's a very same concept. I'm right with you guys that my Kyle Pitts is the cutoff.
55:46And from that point on, we're just going to do whatever makes the most sense in terms of value for what we are drafting.
55:54And I'm very low on Dalton Kincaid. I wish I would be low.
55:58Maybe I go bold and just drop all the way too.
56:01Because I don't really do full fades. But if ever there was one person who I can guarantee, right, no matter how
56:08far he drops, it's not sure why not. I don't want any part of Dalton Kincaid.
56:12I mean, where you can argue Sam Laporta, at least we've seen, you know, the overall one upside from him.
56:18Have we seen that from Dalton Kincaid? But we're still drafting him as a top 10 tight end when we have not seen that top 10 output.
56:27And we definitely have not seen anywhere near it over the past two seasons where he's finished as tight end 20 and tight end 30.
56:34And injuries have played a major role in it.
56:37And I hate to be like a Bills pass catcher hater.
56:40I mean, I guess I could have gone three for three because I got James Cook regression concerns.
56:46But I decided not to be a full Bills hater.
56:49Like, let's not go that far. So we'll cut it off here at these two pass catchers.
56:54But yeah, there's too many, too many bodies. And we've seen so much inconsistency.
56:58And the Dalton Knotts existence is significant. They extended him.
57:01They're keeping him there for a reason because they too see the injury issues.
57:05And they have specifically said they might incorporate load management to deal with Dalton Kincaid's injury issues.
57:10That is very specific. They see it and they're trying to figure out a way to work around at it.
57:16So we've already got this extremely crowded offense. And we've already, you know, we're looking at the possibility of him being reduced
57:23a little bit in terms of usage because he struggled to stay on the field and be able to push through injuries.
57:30And there's just so much working against Dalton Kincaid.
57:32And I feel like we're drafting him on the optimism of where we looked at him in the NFL draft and the
57:39promise that he could have because he's such a talented player.
57:42And there's reason to draft talented players in crowded, you know, crowded pass catching rooms.
57:47We did that with Colson Loveland. It turned out perfectly fine.
57:50But I think this is just a very difficult situation because this has been an existing issue for multiple years now.
57:57And I don't see it specifically changing in this year.
58:00So there needs to be a massive drop in terms of where we were looking at because all of those tight ends
58:06that Boggs mentioned, I'll take them 10 times over.
58:09Please give me an Isaiah Likely. I don't want to deal with this because the upside on a given week is not
58:16worth the 10 weeks of downside that you will get if he's even on the field.
58:20He's going to be like the most dropped player in the first three weeks of the season.
58:26I think so. Dalton Kincaid. Yeah, the ECR ranking doesn't make a whole lot of sense for me.
58:31Like, I know that is where Dalton Kincaid has the upside to finish.
58:35But I think like that is the upside, right?
58:38Because not only are you a player who does have injury concerns, you don't stay on the field because he can't block, right?
58:45And like, not only do you have Dalton Knox, but you got Jackson Hawes out there.
58:49I mean, Boggs, you know how much I love my...
58:52I mean, he's not going to catch many balls, but he's going to be on the field because he blocks so well.
58:59And he'll be a red zone threat. Yeah, I mean, you know I love my Georgia Tech players, but like that's just
59:06one of them that I think can have a real impact here.
59:09And Joe Brady, you mentioned it earlier, Tara, probably some more run-heavy sets.
59:13You have someone that I really like coming in from a rookie standpoint and Skylar Bell into that receiving core as well.
59:20So I think it just is too much of a...
59:23Like, if Dalton Kincaid was going at like tight end 14, 15 like he was a year ago, sign me up.
59:29But here at tight end 9, 104 overall, it's just too pricey for me.
59:33So folks, great stuff tonight. That is going to do it for us right here on the Fantasy Pros Fantasy Football Podcast.
