Despite outsnapping Daniel Bellinger 179-85 and playing 78.85% of offensive snaps (up from 50.47% as a rookie), Helm is being deployed as a blocker more frequently than in 2025; PFF credits him with 67 run-blocking snaps versus Bellinger's 49, suggesting the Titans are using him in a role that doesn't maximize his pass-catching ability.NegativeProjectionOct 7, 2026

Tight end Gunnar Helm wasted a critical off-script throw by Cam Ward in preseason Week 2 against the Seahawks by failing to get his feet in-bounds despite having enough room to do so. The source describes this as the more glaring of two dropped passes that impacted Ward's performance evaluation. Had Helm converted this reception, Ward's completion line could have improved from 8-of-12 to 10-of-12, and the Titans potentially score during that possession.PositiveRoleAug 12, 2026
Expected to take a sophomore step forward as the primary receiver at tight end; former Texans standout was very impressive as a rookie and no longer has Chig Okonkwo competing for targets. The source projects him as the Titans' top tight end and hopes he becomes a reliable outlet for Cam Ward.
