.@BenjaminSolak lists Gunnar Helm as a potential breakout candidate: “If he's an A-plus in any one trait, it's his ability to track and adjust to the football. He makes the sort of tough downfield catches a TE needs to make in order to become an explosive-play receiver.”
Gunnar Helm has been one of my favorite late round TE targets. He's got a clear path to a full time role, and some exciting year 1 numbers as well. He was 5th (!) among TEs in targets per route run (0.23) per @FantasyPtsData, ahead of the likes of Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, and Brock Bowers. His draft stock fell a bit after performing poorly in the NFL Combine, but he was injured which affected his numbers of course (probably would've been a round 3 pick, but that's anecdotal).
