The Titans appear hellbent on using Helm as a blocker more frequently than they did last season. That's confusing, because he's a better pass catcher, and the presumption was Bellinger was signed to primarily handle in-line blocking duties.

Helm deployed as blocker more than expected; Bellinger signing hasn't reduced snaps but changed role.

The Titans appear to be using Helm as a blocker more frequently than in his rookie season, despite signing veteran Daniel Bellinger to a three-year, $24 million contract (annual $8M) ostensibly to handle in-line blocking duties. PFF data shows Helm with 67 run-blocking snaps versus Bellinger's 49, suggesting role misalignment; Helm has outsnapped Bellinger 179-85 overall but is being deployed in a less pass-catching capacity than expected.
