0:37Void where prohibited. Welcome back to the Adam Schefter Podcast as we head into Week 2 with our first Thursday preview podcast of the upcoming season.
0:45And to help us do that, we welcome my friend, my colleague, the host of the Pat McAfee Show, Ty Schmidt for the weekly Thursday six-pack.
0:54Thank you very much, Shefty. Good to be with you as always.
0:58What a great Week 1. A little bit wonky.
1:01You know, we were a couple points away from having a historic Week 1 in terms of most points ever scored.
1:08Typically, I feel like Week 1, you know, defenses kind of have the offenses number.
1:13That wasn't the case this year, but nonetheless, still a couple great marquee games and overall, very exciting week to start the season.
1:21And we're looking forward to another exciting week this week.
1:24Week 2, Ty, kicks off Thursday night in Buffalo with the dawning of a new stadium, the debut of a new stadium, new Highmark Stadium.
1:33Should be an electric atmosphere, but there is plenty of action Sunday and Monday to look ahead to.
1:39Yeah, absolutely. And with that in mind, let's get right into topic number one of this Thursday's six-pack.
1:45There's some very interesting 0-1 teams in the NFL that don't want to fall to 0-2.
1:50As we know, every year the stats come out about, hey, it's not impossible to make the playoffs after going 0-2, but certainly very, very challenging.
1:59Of those 0-1 teams, we have the Chargers, Broncos, Rams, Cowboys, Saints, Texans, Patriots, Packers, all teams that had, you know, legitimate
2:07playoff aspirations this year and made them Super Bowl aspirations for some teams.
2:11And as we know, Shefty, it's a long road back to getting to the playoffs at 0-2.
2:17So what do you think about that cluster of teams there?
2:20That's amazing. That's a great group of teams sitting there, 0-1, heading into a very important week two.
2:26Now, if we go back to last year, last season, Ty, the Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers, and Houston Texans all started 0-2 and made the playoffs.
2:35So there were three 0-2 teams last year that wound up going to the postseason.
2:40But if we go back to when this new playoff format was enacted, there have been 51 teams that have started 0-2.
2:48And of the 51, eight have made the playoffs, including three last season.
2:52So 16% of 0-2 teams under the NFL's new playoff format with the seven teams have gone on to make the playoffs.
2:59So of that group of teams that you listed, it is way too early to say they have to win.
3:06Way too early. But there is empirical data that shows you don't want to fall to 0-2, even though three teams did it last year.
3:15And I think, as we've talked about before, and I always like to say this, I think there's a psychological burden that comes along with being 0-2.
3:24If you're 0-2, it just feels like it takes so much effort to get back to 500 if you can do that.
3:31And by the time you get back to 500, you've expensed so much energy that it's tough to move ahead into the playoff position.
3:39Now, again, all these teams capable and talented enough to do it.
3:43But there are some teams this weekend where it's going to get late early on them.
3:49And you don't want to be one of those teams where it gets late early.
3:54Yeah, and I think you look at all these teams and, you know, I don't know if any of us thought that
4:01they would necessarily be 0-1, even going into week two.
4:04Maybe a handful. But the way the NFL works, what, you think maybe half these teams, there's a very good chance that
4:12they do start 0-2 and kind of put themselves behind the eight ball.
4:16And then have to, you know, you kind of have to move your timeline up and you have to expedite everything very quickly.
4:24You've got to kind of start playing your best football much quicker than, you know, we always say, hey, after Thanksgiving, that's when it matters the most.
4:33You go 0-2, that slides that timeline up to, you know, the third week of September.
4:38And you better be playing pretty close to your best football if you don't want everything that you had set out for
4:46at the start of the season to kind of be dashed before we even get to the first week of October.
4:53And what I also find so interesting is these teams spend so much time, money, resources gearing up for the start of the season.
5:01And then once it kicks off that Sunday and goes into week two, if you're 0-2, like in the span of eight
5:08days, eight days, all your hopes and dreams become very challenged very quickly.
5:13Yeah. And, you know, even, you know, 0-2 definitely.
5:16But the way we cover the NFL, the way the NFL is covered in general now, the sky's falling if you go
5:230-1 for a lot of these teams. And if you don't look impressive going 0-1, you know, so it's 0-2 is for.
5:31You know, by no means is it, hey, we need to win out.
5:35We need to start. But for a lot of fan bases and a lot of people, I mean, you start kind of,
5:42people will start throwing in the towel on certain teams.
5:46And, you know, an 0-2 start, a lot of people may consider that a death sentence, even though that might not be the case.
5:54But again, a lot of good teams to kind of keep an eye on this weekend who clearly don't want to start
6:010-2 because they know kind of what that means moving forward.
6:05All right, Chef, kind of branching off that, let's move on to topic number two of this Thursday's six-pack.
6:11Of those 0-1 teams, which one stands out the most to you?
6:15Well, I'll say this to you. I brought this up because it's your team, the Green Bay Packers.
6:21And who would have ever have imagined that the Green Bay Packers would be owners of a six-game losing streak?
6:28Like, that is amazing to me. They're a much better team than one that should have a six-game losing streak.
6:35And did a little bit more digging. When you look at Jordan Love as a road favorite during the course of his
6:42career of at least three points, he's 0-8 against the spread.
6:46Did you know that, Ty? I did know that.
6:49You did know that. Did you know he's 4-10 against the spread in his career overall as a road favorite?
6:56You knew that? Oh, yeah. You know a lot of these numbers, huh?
7:00Yep. Yes, I do. And when the schedule came out and you're looking at it and you're Green Bay, well, you're thinking that first game's in Minnesota.
7:09That's a coin flip, which I think we saw.
7:12But, okay, no problem because we got the Jets in week two.
7:16So if somehow we can steal a win week one in Minnesota, now we got a chance to open the season with two road wins and go 2-0.
7:26And they lose in Minnesota. The coin flip goes the other way, comes up tails, not heads, while the Jets were in
7:33Tennessee on a mission and looked like a new team.
7:36And now the Jets are coming home for their home opener with some momentum where I've heard on the streets here of
7:44New York City that ticket prices for Jets and Giant tickets, they're not at Knick levels, but they've gone up quite a
7:51bit and there's demand for Jets and Giants home tickets now for the first time in a while.
7:57How do you feel about the game being in New York this week, Todd, with your Packers 0-6 and Jordan Love 0-8
8:05against the spread as a three-point favorite on the road?
8:08Certainly different than I did three weeks ago. And you hit the nail on the head.
8:14But I think I saw on SeatGeek that the Jets-Packers game is maybe the fifth most in-demand ticket, at least price-wise, of this weekend.
8:22So certainly not what it has been. Against the spread numbers, I kind of go both ways on that because same thing.
8:29Last week, I think Love played phenomenal for three quarters.
8:32And, you know, I think Matt LaFleur shoulders a little bit of that blame the way he calls games.
8:39I mean, that has been the knock on the Packers, especially over this six-game losing streak, which has been the longest of
8:46my lifetime, is they can't close games. You know, they get out to these big leads.
8:52They get very conservative. And then the tide turns so quickly and the momentum goes so far in the other team's direction
8:59that Jordan Love, I think, feels like he has to play hero ball.
9:03And, okay, now I got to go out and I have to throw a touchdown on every play as opposed to what
9:11he was doing in the first three quarters of a lot of these games, namely last week.
9:16And then the playoff game against Chicago, he looks like a world beater.
9:21And then all of a sudden it's like, okay, well, we're going to run, run, pass, punt, run, run, pass, punt.
9:28And they just get very vanilla. But I do – obviously, this is not the same Jets team that we – at
9:35least they don't look like the same Jets team that we've seen the last several weeks – or several years, excuse me.
9:43But we'll see because part of me, you know, you look at just statistically, last week in terms of yards allowed, the
9:50Packers were a top-five defensive unit in the NFL.
9:53And in yards gained, they were a top-five defensive unit in the NFL.
9:58So they played both well. Penalties killed them. They couldn't get off the field on third down.
10:03And, again, once that momentum swung into the Vikings' favor after they went for it on fourth and one, as a fan, I knew.
10:11I was like, oh, boy, they're going to lose this game.
10:15That's just the way it's going to work. It works.
10:18I – while the Jets did look impressive, the Titans looked like one of, if not the worst team in the NFL.
10:26So I'm not ready to crown the Jets yet.
10:29But I think four and a half – it's going to be a close game.
10:34It's definitely going to be a close game. And you're right.
10:38I feel much differently about this game than I did in the third week of the preseason, you know, where you just
10:45pencil this in as a win no matter what.
10:48And they have to play well on Sunday. Because if they don't and if they take this Jets team like it has
10:55been the last several years, they're going to start 0-2.
10:59And then they really will be in trouble. And it might be a – 0-2?
11:040-2? Seven straight losses that would be. That would be – Terrible.
11:08Terrible. That would be – I mean, that – you know, the fan base, I think, feels a certain way about Matt LaFleur.
11:16Because I think that playoff loss to the Bears last year, I think that is a fresh wound to a lot of people still.
11:24And I think last week kind of reopened that a little bit.
11:28And it's like, why can't these guys close out a game?
11:31They look so good for three quarters. And then the fourth quarter, it's just – it doesn't look like the same team.
11:39It's kind of crazy. But you need to do whatever you can to tread water while Micah Parsons is out and at
11:46least go, you know, close to .500. Because the last thing you want is to go into that, you know, we'll see
11:54if it's week five against the Bears, week six against the Cowboys or whatever.
11:58You can't go into that game and have the season basically be over already, especially with how good the NFC North looks.
12:06So, yeah. I'm very interested to see how the Packers do this weekend.
12:10And it's interesting because you bring up the Jordan Love stuff.
12:14Matt LaFleur, I believe, after a season opening loss, is 7-0 against the spread in week two.
12:20So, there we go. So, that's kind of the, you know, the other side of that blade.
12:25So, we'll see what happens. But this is going to be a good game this weekend.

13:57And let's stay in the NFC North. What do you know about the Vikings QB situation heading into the weekend?
14:04Look, as we record this Thursday morning, Kyler Murray's been limited.
14:08And it's hard for me to imagine that while he's progressed through a concussion protocol, that he's going to be able to
14:15clear it in time for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
14:19And this, in my mind, shapes up as the game of the weekend.
14:23We've got an awesome matchup. You've got Ben Johnson, the Bears head coach.
14:28You've got Brian Flores, the Vikings defensive coordinator. Nobody's more aggressive than Flores.
14:32Nobody's more aggressive than Ben Johnson. In which they scored 59 points in the opener.
14:3759 times 17, Ty, is 1,003. So you could say after one week that the Bears are on pace to score over
14:441,000 points when the single season record is just over 600 that the Denver Broncos said, as Ben Johnson alluded to.
14:51He hasn't run away from it. We are fired up to see how these two teams match up.
14:58And my guest today, and we'll see how it shakes out this weekend, is that it's going to be another week of
15:05Carson Wentz going up against a Chicago Bears defense that struggled to stop the Panthers on Sunday, but did enough to find a way to win the game.
15:14And it'll be another opportunity for Wentz to show the Vikings, hey, if Kyler Murray's out, I can be the guy.
15:21If Kyler Murray is back, I can be the backup.
15:25And it continues to be his job. So I'm looking for Carson Wentz to square off against Caleb Williams, who, by the
15:32way, not only did he look great with his arm, but he looked fast and mobile with his legs.
15:39He looked really fast and mobile. And we go back to that quarterback draft class.
15:44It's funny. All of a sudden, Jaden Daniels has had some ups and downs.
15:48Drake may have struggled as of late. We know what's happened with Penix.
15:53McCarthy, even Bo Nix struggled. Caleb Williams right now looks like he was worthy of being that number one pick in a great quarterback draft.
16:01Yeah, without a doubt. And, you know, I mean, he was.
16:05He was the generational prospect in that class. And I agree.
16:09I'm very excited for this game on Sunday. I think at this point, if you're a better, whatever the Bears team total
16:16over is, you take that until they prove that they're not going to hit it.
16:21I mean, they just Ben Johnson seems to have every answer.
16:25If Caleb's playing that way, they're going to be very fun.
16:28And I'll be interested to see what Carson Wentz does, because I, you know, I don't really have many statistics to back this up.
16:36But I feel like throughout his career, when he's kind of thrust into when someone gets hurt ahead of him and he
16:44has to come in and play, he plays very well.
16:47But when teams have a week or so to prepare for him, I feel like he struggles a little bit more.
16:54So we'll see. But again, that Bears defense, they left a lot to be desired against the Panthers last week.
17:01So I really don't know what to think of this one.
17:05I think we expect points for sure. But we'll see what Brian Flores can do, because that Vikings defense looked unbelievable last week.
17:12But, you know, we talk a lot about Caleb Williams and rightfully so.
17:17And he was part of this. But the Bears rushed for almost 300 yards last week.
17:22You know, so it's I mean, they they they are they are a juggernaut right now.
17:28And there's a reason that Ben Johnson was talking about setting the NFL record for points.
17:33I think he saw it in his mind's eye.
17:36And after week one, it's it's hard to dispute that.
17:39And I was fired up for this game. This is still the game of the week.
17:45I will have an eye on the Jets Packers and I will have the other eye on the Bears Vikings and all
17:52the other action going on at one o'clock. But we got some good early action one o'clock on Sunday.
17:59All right, Chetty, let's move on to topic number four of this Thursday's six pack.
18:04Speaking of, you know, some good games in that early window, we have Baker.
18:08And I guess you could say it's a revenge game going against the Browns, even though Stefanski's not there anymore.
18:15But I'm sure he's still got, you know, a lot to prove to Cleveland and the front office and ownership and all that kind of stuff.
18:24Baker versus the Browns. What does that mean for both sides?
18:28Well, we were bringing up some of those numbers against the spread.
18:32I just in researching some of these games, some of these, I guess if you call it gambling numbers, keep jumping out.
18:39Do you realize the Buccaneers and you were aware of the Jordan Love inefficiencies before?
18:44Let's see if you're aware of this. The Buccaneers are 0 and 10.
18:480 and 10. Against the spread since their week nine by last season, tying them for the longest against the spread losing streak in the Super Bowl era.
18:58Did you know that? No, I did not know that.
19:01That's a nice nugget. Is that incredible? Crazy. So that tells you that they've underachieved here since the bye week nine last season.
19:09And, but here's the thing that I can't get past.
19:12The Buccaneers go and lose the opener in Cincinnati.
19:15And Baker fumbles the game away. And Baker's coming off the contract extension.
19:20And now Baker comes home for the home opener.
19:23The home opener against the team that got rid of him.
19:26For the quarterback that they brought in, in his place.
19:30Baker, you know, is going to be remembering all of this.
19:34Now, is this team going to be strong enough to overcome?
19:37Come, it's a nept, a nept betting history, I guess you would call it, if you will.
19:43For lack of a better term, 0 and 10 against the spread since their bye last season.
19:49Like if they don't cover again, Ty, I mean, I don't really care whether the Bucs ever cover or not.
19:55But if they don't cover again, that would be the longest against the spread losing streak in the Super Bowl era.
20:03That's crazy to me. Yeah, that is crazy. Let me pull this up right now because this will obviously probably move a little bit.
20:11Yep. They're eight and a half point favorites right now on DraftKings.
20:15And that is a lot of points. That's definitely a lot of points.
20:19But man, I mean, it's just, it's one of those things.
20:23How many people do you think are going to take the points and bet on the Browns?
20:28Especially after what we saw last week where, if Jacksonville wanted to, they probably could have beat them 50 to nothing.
20:35Or, you know, 50 to 10. I would say this.
20:39In one of my fantasy leagues, I picked up Baker this week as a streaming quarterback.
20:44And I'm playing Baker because I believe that there's something to Baker and the Browns.
20:49Watch his emotion on Sunday. Watch how he reacts after certain plays.
20:53Watch how he celebrates if and when he does score a touchdown.
20:57I'm telling you, this is a personal matchup. See, Ty, I think he's played them once before when he was with Carolina.
21:05And it was a good game, not a great game.
21:08And his team lost. Carolina lost to Cleveland. I just, I have a hard time this weekend thinking that Baker's not going to be ready for this game.
21:18Not going to play better than he did in Cincinnati.
21:21Not going to take it personally. And he's not going to be looking to break that 0-10 record against the spread since week 9.
21:29That's incredible. Yeah. No, I agree. He is, Baker is the consummate chip on the shoulder guy.
21:35We'll find whatever he needs to. And he doesn't need to look very far to find a chip on the shoulder for this game.
21:43And I'd agree. I mean, the fact that they have tied the longest losing streak against the spread is crazy in the Super Bowl era.
21:51This is one of those things where I will bet on the Buccaneers this weekend.
21:56And if they don't cover, you kind of just eat that one.
22:00Because nothing that we have seen from week 1 or really from recent history tells us that you should go bet the Browns this weekend.
22:09I don't know if people expected a lot more out of their defense just because of what their defense has been.
22:16But Jim Schwartz isn't there anymore. They're trying to find their footing on offense.
22:21We'll see how much longer Deshaun Watson is their starting quarterback.
22:24So, personally, I think you'd be crazy to bet the Browns even though 8.5 is a lot of points.
22:31But this is one of those ones where I think you ride the Bucs.
22:35You ride Baker and the chip on his shoulder.
22:38And if they somehow don't cover and they win by a touchdown, then you just chalk that up to, Hey, you know what?
22:46I was on the right side. They just, you know, it was a late backdoor cover or something like that.
22:53All right, Chetty, let's move on to topic number 5 of this Thursday's 6-pack.
22:58Jaguars and Broncos. Sneaky maybe the game of the weekend.
23:01Could be potentially an AFC Championship preview. We don't know.
23:04Although the Broncos didn't look great in week 1.
23:07No. But what is the most interesting thing there?
23:10The Jaguars are the anti-Buccaneers, Ty. They have covered 9 straight regular season games.
23:15The longest streak in the NFL. The longest streak in Jaguars history.
23:19And the longest streak in the NFL since 2021 when your Packers covered 9 straight games.
23:24Do I not have all this betting information this week?
23:28ESPN sends out a betting packet. I said, let me take a look at this.
23:33And I'm reading through it this week. And I'm like, wow, there's some really interesting things in there this week that are revealing.
23:41But beyond that with the Jaguars, we talk about how well they've played over the last 9 games.
23:47If we go back to the win streak that began in week 11 last year, they own a plus 177 point differential in their 9 game win streak.
23:56Plus 177. It's the highest point margin in the NFL over that span by 80 points.
24:02Man. So they've been better than anybody else by a wide margin.
24:06And it's the highest point differential over a 9 game span of any NFL team since Buffalo in week 16 of 2020
24:13to Buffalo in week 8 of 2021. And they outscored their opponents by 179.
24:18So think about the great Buffalo Bills from 2020 to 2021.
24:21That's the level that the Jaguars are playing at.
24:24And now they go into Denver where they trounced the Broncos last year, by the way.
24:30Yep. To get a, I would think you're going to get, if the Broncos don't play a really good game this week, I'd be really surprised.
24:39You're going to tell me the Broncos are going to play two lemons in a row?
24:44No, that's not going to happen under Sean Payne.
24:47Not going to happen. Yeah, I would agree. I don't think they're going to, you know, they certainly won't look like they did Monday night against the Chiefs.
24:56I think that much is obvious. The Jags are two and a half point dogs.
25:01We know how tough it is to play in Denver.
25:05So, you know, I mean, you'd take that if mile high is worth, you know, three points, give or take, then that makes sense.
25:13But my big thing is I'm curious to see how many weeks does it take for this offense to get going with a new play caller?
25:22And how long is the leash for Davis Webb?
25:25Because I don't think it's crazy to think that, you know, it might take them three or four or five weeks to kind of get into a groove.
25:34And but it's also one of those things where do you have that amount of time if they don't look great again and they lose to the Jags?
25:44Like they're in a window right now. They have expectations.
25:47You know, if Bo Nix doesn't get hurt, they probably play in the Super Bowl last year.
25:53So the expectation is that they go to the Super Bowl this year.
25:57That's that's just the way it is. So I think.
26:00Man, it's and again, week two is typically, I think, a very big bounce back week in the NFL, one of the
26:08hardest weeks to bet because your eyes deceive you a little bit.
26:12And you really lean on what you saw week one.
26:15But like you said, can are the Broncos going to play as bad as they did in Kansas City?
26:22Probably not. Are the Jaguars going to be the same team that we saw against the Browns?
26:27Who knows? Maybe they look very impressive. So we'll see.
26:31They've been that for nine straight weeks now. Exactly.
26:34That's what's interesting. Exactly. And I think a big X factor here, too, is at altitude.
26:39If this thing comes down to a field goal or is close, you know, and you're trying to cover that number, Cam
26:46Little might be able to hit, what, an 80-yard field goal?
26:50I mean, he's got a monster leg. So, yeah, no, I think this is one of, if not my favorite game of
26:58this weekend, or at least the one I'm most excited to watch.
27:02The other note that I'll give you on this game before we move on to the last six-pack item of the week
27:09is somebody in the NFL very smart pointed out to me this week.
27:13They said, I know everybody's talking about how much the Broncos missed Sean Payton's play calling and Davis Webb is the new play caller.
27:21But on the defensive side, they missed Jim Leonard, the Bills defensive coordinator who was there to assist Vance Joseph.
27:28And without Jim Leonard there, it's not exactly the same.
27:32So they lose Sean Payton from play calling and they lose Jim Leonard on the defensive side of the play calling.
27:39And here we go. Broncos struggle against the Chiefs.
27:42Let's see if they could turn it around against the Jaguars.
27:45Yeah, that's a good point. And that's one of the unfortunate circumstances of being a really good team and making a good, deep playoff run.
27:54Guys get poached. So they're going to have to address that.
27:58They're going to have to deal with that. But again, I wouldn't say anyone who is a Broncos fan is necessarily panicking.
28:05They looked awful. But that could be more of an indication of what this Chiefs team is this year with Kenneth Walker and Eric Biennemi being back.
28:14So we'll see. I would expect them to play much, much better on Sunday.
28:19All right, Shetty. Let's move on to the sixth and final topic of this Thursday's six-pack.
28:24Let's look ahead to Monday night. Who have been some of the worst teams on Monday night football?
28:30And why is that significant for this particular matchup?
28:33Would you believe that the coach who owns the longest active Monday night football losing streak for head coaches right now is Sean McVay?
28:41I would have never guessed that. He lost five straight Monday night games.
28:46Okay? Okay. Wow. He has been killer on Thursday night.
28:49On a short week, Sean McVay has been incredible.
28:52But for some reason, when the Rams have had more time, the Rams have not been good.
28:58They have not been good. Sean McVay has a 5-7 record on Monday night football, but he's lost his last five games on Monday nights.
29:06And you know who's been the worst team on Monday night football?
29:10The New York Giants. 1-10 on Monday night football dating back to 2019, including 0-5 on the road over that same spin.
29:18The last time the Giants won a road Monday night football game, Ty, was in 2018 when their quarterback was Eli Manning
29:25and their running back was Saquon Barkley. Wow. That's how long it's been.
29:29They beat the 49ers, who were a quarterback that night by Nick Mullins, 27-23.
29:34Now Jackson Dart is at quarterback. Cam Scadabo is at running back.
29:38Sean McVay is on the opposing sideline. We do think Aaron Donald will be back on Monday night, and it sets up
29:46another juicy week two matchup on Monday night football in ways that we didn't think.
29:51We thought this was a W in the Rams win column, and then the Giants came out and looked incredible in their opening game.
29:59The Rams lost their opening game. They're coming back from Australia.
30:02And this, by the way, should be where the Rams benefit because they had the short trip, so there's not as much of a recovery.
30:11So we'll see whether that plays into Monday night.
30:14But no one would have guessed that. Sean McVay on Monday night, last five matchups, has not gotten it done.
30:21No, I would not have guessed that. And this will be another one of those spots.
30:26I would imagine that a lot of money is going to come in on the Giants as they are seven-point dogs right now.
30:34We'll see how much that line moves over the weekend.
30:37The Giants being 1-10, I throw that out the window completely because they've largely stunk over the last decade, give or take
30:44a few seasons where they've been okay. John Harbaugh, his road record on Monday night football is 8-5.
30:51So, you know, guess what? None of those Giants teams that went 1-10 had John Harbaugh.
30:56They didn't look like they did on Sunday against the Cowboys, who I don't think any—I don't know that many people who thought they were going to win.
31:05Maybe keep it close, but not—I mean, that was an impressive, dominating, you know, everyone has said it, bully ball victory for the Giants.
31:13So I think you can take that number and kind of just scrap it because, as we've seen, this Giants team, this
31:21culture, the way they play, it's completely different with John Harbaugh, and that was the expectation.
31:26That was kind of what we all envisioned or what we thought could happen when a coach of that caliber went to
31:34New York, and it paid dividends in Week 1 against a team who a lot of people were pegging to win that
31:41division and potentially go to the Super Bowl and the Cowboys.
31:45So I love this matchup, and you're right. You know, we talked about those 0-1 teams who could potentially go 0-2 at the start of the show.
31:54So the Rams, after everyone was talking about them maybe going 17-0 and being the prohibitive Super Bowl favorites, the biggest favorite
32:01ever, the last thing they want to do is start 0-2.
32:05It's a huge week ahead. Should be a great Sunday and Monday of games and a lot of pressure on a lot of teams.
32:13But I thought today, I thought we'd bring a little bit of a against-the-spread information to go along with some of that
32:20statistical data analysis as people get ready to watch the Week 2 games.
32:25All right, great job by you today. Great job by our producer, Dan Stanzik, Ben Smith.
32:30Thank you very much to all the people out there tuning in to another Adam Schefter podcast.
32:36We'll be back in this spot Tuesday to look back at Week 2 and look ahead into Week 3.
32:42Until then, enjoy the games.
