Baker Mayfield

NegativeInjury3:42

Returning from injury with concern about his throwing-hand thumb; should upgrade the Buccaneers passing game from Jaylen Daniels, though the extent of the upgrade is uncertain. Facing Carolina on the road.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveValue4:00

Ranked WR32 after moving up 15 spots from WR47, benefiting from Baker Mayfield's return. Has recorded seven-plus targets in two of his last three games; described as a low-end WR3 with PPR upside despite not yet hitting 50-plus receiving yards in a game.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveSleeper7:06

Available everywhere; ranked WR48 on the road versus Falcons (allowing 6th most points to WRs when adjusting for opponent). At least a stash to see how he fits into 49ers offense. Competing with Jordan Watkins and Brandon Cooks who have been on field longer but combined for only 2 targets on 47 routes last week. At 29 years old, Kirk had 18% target share and 4.3 targets per game last year on Texans. If he earns 5 targets in this high-scoring offense, that's a win.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveRole7:20

Gets a ranking bump due to 49ers injuries; may play more wide receiver snaps in addition to running back role, expanding his offensive usage and target opportunities.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeInjury2:27

On the Eagles injury report heading into Week 7; could miss time, creating tight end opportunity for replacement options.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

PositiveValue11:47

Darius Cooper is ranked around WR45 as a beneficiary of Eagles WR injuries (DeVonta Smith, Dantavon Wix, Dallas Scott all missing Friday practice). The source would have both Darius Cooper and Mai Lemon in the WR40s, with Darius Cooper more towards WR45. Viable flex play against the Cowboys, who allow the most fantasy points to WRs when adjusting for opponent.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury2:27

Missed Friday's practice ahead of Monday's game against the Cowboys. With the Eagles playing Monday, clarity on his status will come Saturday; if he misses Saturday practice as well, he is likely out. His absence would open targets to beneficiary WRs against a Cowboys defense allowing the most fantasy points to WRs when adjusting for opponent.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveValue4:00

Ranked RB31 after moving up from RB36, preferred over George Helani in the Broncos backfield with Zack Charbonnet out. Had 14 opportunities last week versus George Helani's five; likely dropped in many leagues and available as a desperation play against Kansas City's strong run defense. Sneaky start recommendation for Week 7.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole8:54

Was shadowed and taken out of last week's game against the Patriots by Christian Gonzalez but will be more involved this week, increasing his target share in the Jets offense and creating additional competition for Omar Cooper's routes.

Insight page

George Holani

NegativeValue4:00

Ranked RB38 after moving from unranked. Played 58% snap share last week with five opportunities versus Emanuel Wilson's 14. Described as a passing-down back and desperation play against Kansas City's strong run defense. Both backs are flyer RB3s hoping for 10 touches and a touchdown. The source notes that Helani's high snap share came in a game where Denver had control and wasn't trailing, which may not reflect typical game script.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveDepth Chart7:06

Gets a ranking bump due to Deebo Samuel injury. Ranked ahead of Trey McBride this week, elevating his role in the 49ers offense.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeProjection6:07

Ranked WR34 with Tyler Warren ruled out. Low-end WR3 with PPR upside. At home versus the Vikings, the best defense in the NFL. Difficult to envision this offense performing well. Hoping for 6 catches for 70 yards and maybe a touchdown.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeProjection6:07

Ranked WR35 with Tyler Warren ruled out. Low-end WR3 with PPR upside. At home versus the Vikings, the best defense in the NFL. Difficult to envision this offense performing well. Hoping for 6 catches for 70 yards and maybe a touchdown.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeBust8:37

Had 100+ receiving yards last week but the source is pumping the brakes on him, ranking him WR40 this week (down from WR29-30 in other rankings). Concerns include: Adonai Mitchell's return will scale his route participation from ~85% to ~60%; Garrett Wilson will be more involved after being shadowed last week; tight end competition (Mason Taylor, Kenyan Drake); Breece Hall potentially returning; and Miami allows the third-least fantasy points to opposing WRs due to game script favoring run-heavy play. The source compares this to the Kenyan Drake trap (big game vs. Detroit, then a dud the next week) and is skeptical of a one-week pop.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury0:21

Status legitimately up in the air heading into Week 7, creating lineup decision uncertainty. If Nakua misses, Konata Mumfield becomes the primary add for WR help in the Chargers offense. The source recommends grabbing Konata Mumfield as a contingency play off the bench if you roster Puka, waiting until game time to determine if Puka plays.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury2:24

Availability uncertain heading into Week 7, creating depth chart questions for the Eagles backfield.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

NegativeValue5:07

Ranked WR47; qualifies as a sneaky start with Baker Mayfield back. Panthers allow 21st most fantasy points to outside wide receivers (versus 29th to slot). Runs all routes as boundary receiver. Boom-bust flex play dependent on connecting on long balls. Hoping for 3 catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. Caught a long touchdown against Minnesota in Week 3.

0:00What's going on, man? Welcome back to
0:03the basement. I'm Ron and today would
0:06usually be my sneaky starts and stats
0:08for week seven, but we're going to
0:10change it up today. I got to be honest,
0:11I was looking through the rankings
0:12trying to find the guys that I'm higher
0:13on and lower on and there's just a ton
0:16of moving parts. A lot of the guys that
0:17I like as sneaky starts are kind of
0:19filling in for injuries that are
0:21happening. We have the Puka Nakua injury
0:23right now up in the air. We have all of
0:24the Eagles seemingly between is Saquon
0:27going to play, Dvonte Smith, Dallas
0:28Goddar, I think even Dantavon Wix is on
0:30the injury report. We have a lot to
0:33cover here. So essentially what this
0:34video is going to be, this is going to
0:35be a new format. I don't know if we're
0:37going to actually keep this moving
0:38forward, but just one that I think for a
0:40week that is super hectic. Why not? This
0:43is going to be the biggest ranking
0:44changes in week seven that you need to
0:47know about to win your matchup. There's
0:49going to be some sneaky starts, right?
0:50players getting hurt, maybe who is going
0:52to emerge, where I have those guys
0:54ranked, and just everything you need to
0:55know because when a lot of these
0:57creators do their running back, wide
1:00receiver flex rankings on like Tuesday,
1:02Wednesday, Thursday, so much changes
1:04between now and then between injuries
1:06and all of that in between. So, with
1:09that being said, the biggest rankings,
1:12news, injury updates you need to know
1:15before setting your lineup for Sunday.
1:16As always, if you enjoy, leave a like,
1:19subscribe if you're new. And the first
1:21situation we're going to talk about is
1:23Zack Charbanet is ruled out. When I
1:25first did my rankings earlier in the
1:27weekend, which of course or on in the
1:28week, of course, you can find those over
1:30on the Patreon. patreon.com/ronstewart,
1:34that's where you'll get my weekly
1:35rankings, Waverwire article, rest of
1:36season rankings, dynasty rankings,
1:38starts sitstream, all of that and more.
1:40patreon.com/ronon Stewart in the
1:42description and the comment section
1:44below. Now, I was operating under the
1:46assumption that Zack Sharbon was going
1:48to play. We even got a report from
1:50Rapapore. I think that Rapaore went on
1:51McAfee and was like, "Yeah, Charban is
1:53going to play and he's going to be
1:54involved." And then four hours later, he
1:56was ruled out. So, we're now in a spot
1:59here because we had maybe the messiest
2:02split yet between Emanuel Wilson and
2:04George Helani, right? Of course, there's
2:06no Jadarian Price. And then last week in
2:08the prime time Thursday night game, we
2:11had essentially the most usage we've
2:13seen for George Helani so far. Helani
2:16had honestly kind of an awesome
2:17touchdown run where he uh like dragged
2:20like three defenders with him. He played
2:22his highest snap share of the season at
2:2458%. But you do have to remember that
2:26that wasn't a trailing game script.
2:28Denver kind of had control of that game
2:30the entire time. George Helani's the
2:31passing down back. George Helani
2:33outnapped Emanuel Wilson here, but he
2:37only had five opportunities. Emanuel
2:39Wilson had 14 opportunities. So,
2:40personally, I prefer Emanuel Wilson this
2:43week, but they're both,
2:45you know, we're talking like flyer RB3s.
2:47I have Emanuel Wilson. I moved him from
2:48my RB36 to my RB31. I moved George Hani
2:51from unranked to my RB38. They're both
2:54desperation plays. It's a tough match up
2:56vers Kansas City who is really really
2:58strong against the run who is also not
3:00going to allow a ton of touchdowns. So
3:03what you're hoping for is some probably
3:06like 10 touches for one of these backs
3:07and a touchdown. I think Emanuel Wilson
3:09is more likely to. He got 14
3:11opportunities last week. He could maybe
3:12fall in the end zone. And I will say I
3:15have to assume that Emanuel Wilson got
3:16dropped in a bunch of leagues. So, if
3:18he's out there and you're hurting at
3:19running back or you just lost a guy,
3:22maybe you have like Damen Pierce, now
3:23that Saquon Barkley's back, you're
3:24looking for running back help. I think
3:26you can do worse than Emanuel Wilson or
3:29George Hani. Now, our next big rankings
3:32change is a man Acha Ibuka gets ruled
3:35out,
3:37which was nuts. He gets like a he had a
3:39concussion apparently and then a foot
3:40injury and now he's ruled out. Baker
3:42Mayfield's coming back. I'm a little bit
3:44concerned about Baker Mayfield. We'll
3:45see what it looks like in the first game
3:46back, but his injury was on his throwing
3:48hands thumb. So, that's something to be
3:51aware of that the passing game should be
3:53an upgrade from Jaylen Daniels, but
3:55we'll see by how much here. They're
3:56going to be on the road against
3:58Carolina. We have a lot of moving parts
4:00here. Of course, Chris Godwin, a guy who
4:02has yet to hit 50 plus receiving yards.
4:04You're hoping for a big PPR day. He has
4:06had seven plus targets two of his last
4:08three games. I have him as a low-end
4:10wide receiver three. I moved him from
4:12wide receiver 47 up to wide receiver 32.
4:14I think if you have him, he's not a
4:16terrible start. Now, the most
4:19interesting one here, if you are one of
4:22these guys who just lost Tyler Warren,
4:23it seems like Dallas Goddard could miss.
4:27K. Don is interesting. He goes from my
4:29tight end 21 to my tight end 15. From
4:312023 to 2025, so this is the Baker
4:34Mayfield era. He goes from 7.7 points
4:36per game to 10.3 points per game in
4:38games without Mike Evans. He goes from
4:407.5 points per game to 10.3 points per
4:42game in games without Chris Godwin.
4:44Essentially, when the wide receiver one
4:45goes down, this being a Mecca Ibuka
4:47here, K Dotton usually steps up. He's
4:49going to play all of the snaps, all of
4:51the routes. I could very easily see him
4:54getting, you know, five, six, seven
4:57targets and being a fine fantasy
4:59streamer this week. The Panthers allow
5:01the eighth most fantasy points of tight
5:02ends when adjusting for their opponent.
5:04That is a stat from establish the run.
5:07Now, Ted Hurst also qualifies as kind of
5:11a sneaky start here where we have Baker
5:14Mayfield back. The Panthers, I will say,
5:17are stingy against wide receivers, but I
5:18will say they allow the 21st most
5:20fantasy points to outside wide receivers
5:21as opposed to 29th versus the slot. So,
5:24we're splitting hairs, but if they're
5:26going to allow points to anybody, it
5:28would be on the outside. Ted Hurst is a
5:30boom bust flex play here. He's going to
5:32run all of the routes as the boundary
5:34exceiver. It just comes down to if he
5:36can bring in a long ball or two and give
5:38you like a three for 60 and a touchdown
5:41statline is what you're hoping for. But
5:43at wide receiver 47, that's not a
5:45terrible desperation flex. I believe
5:49that he caught a long touchdown ball
5:50against Minnesota in week three. So, we
5:53could see him connect there. But I think
5:55Chris Godwin is someone that is a fine
5:58flex this week. Hurst is a fine
6:00desperation guy off of waiverss if you
6:02need help there. And then Kon I think is
6:03a great streamer if somebody like Tyler
6:05Higgby isn't available. Now my third
6:07rankings update here is Tyler Warren
6:10ruled out. Now I will say when I did my
6:12rankings I actually assumed that both
6:13Tyler or I actually assumed that Tyler
6:15Warren would be out. So I didn't really
6:17move the rankings here. But if you are
6:19out here and you're curious where I
6:22would have Josh Downs and Keenan Allen
6:23with the Tyler Warren injury, wide
6:25receiver 34 and 35. It's really tough to
6:28believe in these guys. They're at home
6:29versus the Vikings. The Vikings are the
6:32best defense in the NFL. I I don't
6:34really envision this offense being very
6:36good against the Vikings. We have had
6:38this game script a ton where, oh, Keenan
6:41Allen's not playing. Oh, Ali Pierce
6:42isn't playing. Oh, Tyler Warren isn't
6:44playing. It's Josh Downs time. And then
6:45he doesn't really show up. So, I think
6:47they're both low-end wide receiver
6:48threes that really just have PPR upside.
6:50You're hoping for, I don't know, six
6:52catches for 70 yards, maybe a touchdown.
6:54It is what you are hoping for from both
6:58of them. Then we have the 49ers. Of
7:00course, Mike Evans and Debo Samuel are
7:04ruled out here. Christian Kirk is
7:06available everywhere. Of course, George
7:07KD gets a bump here. George KD actually
7:09have ranked ahead of Trey McBride this
7:10week. Christian McCaffrey gets a a bump
7:12here. Apparently, Christian McAffrey
7:13might play more wide receiver. If you
7:15want to galaxy brain yourself into
7:16starting Kaylin Black because of that,
7:18you could. I know it is really dark
7:20times out there. If you're down bad, I I
7:22wouldn't really go that far. But
7:25I think Christian Kirk is at least a
7:28stash to see kind of how he fits into
7:30this offense. Can he kind of be the
7:31Jawan Jennings here? But I also think if
7:34you're in a tough spot, I'm potentially
7:36going to be starting him and Yuri at
7:37league mates. I have Stefan Diggs and
7:38Parker Washington on buy. It's getting
7:40really bleak in terms of having to start
7:41three wide receivers this week.
7:43Christian Kirk is a guy that I'm
7:44debating starting. He is wide receiver
7:4648 for me on the road versus the Falcons
7:48who are allowing the six most points to
7:50wide receivers when adjusting for
7:52opponent. Now, of course, Jordan Watkins
7:55and Brandon Cooks have been there for or
7:58on the field longer than Christian Kirk
8:00to this point. Jordan Watkins runs a ton
8:02of routes, but that's really it. They
8:03had just two targets on a combined 47
8:05routes between the two of them last
8:07week. If someone's going to come in and
8:08earn targets as a wide receiver, it's
8:10going to be Christian Kirk. He's only 29
8:13years old. That's crazy that is to say
8:14out loud. Uh, and last year, even though
8:17he was bad on the Texans, he still had
8:18an 18% targets per out run, about 4.3
8:21targets per game. If he can come in here
8:24and give you five targets, I think that
8:26that is a W in this offense that scores
8:29points, then we have some sobering news.
8:32Ad Mitchell is back. No injury
8:34designation. He is ready to roll.
8:37And I sadly want to pump the brakes on
8:40Omar Cooper. I'm excited about Omar
8:41Cooper. for Omar Cooper looked awesome
8:42last week, 100 plus receiving yards. But
8:45I think
8:48it sounds very similar to the Kenyan
8:50Sadik issue is Kenyan Sadik went crazy
8:52against Detroit and then the next week
8:54we all put him in our lineup and he gave
8:56a dud. First of all, this is the Jets.
8:58Sure, is it a game at home against
9:00Miami? Are they favored? Should they
9:02score points? Sure. But at the end of
9:03the day, it is the Jets. Uh, and then
9:06I'll also say that Omar Cooper now with
9:09AD Mitchell, he might not have the full
9:1185% round participation. He might get
9:13scaled down to 60%. You also have
9:14Garrett Wilson who was kind of shadowed
9:16and taken out of last week's game
9:17against the Patriots by Christian
9:19Gonzalez. He'll be more involved. You
9:21have the tight ends Mason Taylor and uh,
9:24Kenyan Sadik, of course. Bree Hall might
9:26be back in the mix this week. So, I've
9:28seen some rankings out there that have
9:30Omar Cooper as like wide receiver 29,
9:31wide receiver 30. Sadly, I have to be
9:34the one that kind of rains on everyone's
9:35parade. He is my wide receiver, 40 this
9:37week, and he is not a mustar at all.
9:39Like, if you think this is the Jeremy
9:40Bernard experience where Jeremy Bernard
9:42pops, you add him, and then he gives you
9:44like a 20 plus point game. I would be
9:45shocked if that's how things go with
9:47Omar Cooper, and then AD Mitchell is a
9:50shaky starter in his own right. I have
9:51him as wide receiver 49. uh until we
9:53know how the routes get split up between
9:55these two, it's going to be a really big
9:57a storyline I'm actually going to jot
9:58down after I post this video to look out
10:00for in our top 10 lessons learned video
10:03is the route share between Omar Cooper
10:06and AD Mitchell by personnel groupings.
10:07So, I'm very curious to see who's going
10:09to be out there in two wide receiver
10:10sets. My guess would be AD Mitchell, but
10:12if it's Omar Cooper, that is a massive,
10:13massive green flag for Omar Cooper. And
10:17also, Miami is allowing the third least
10:18amount of fantasy points to opposing
10:19wide receivers just given game script.
10:21They want to run the ball, sit on it,
10:23and just kind of take the air out of the
10:25football game. So, they're not
10:27interested in scoring points or having a
10:29high overunder affair. Uh, the Miami
10:32Dolphins. Then we can talk about the
10:36Ravens. Rashad Baitman is back. Sadly,
10:38Jacobe Lane kind of had a really
10:40encouraging game last week. Wasn't
10:41anything crazy by the box score, but he
10:43had an end zone target. He uh got
10:45targeted a bunch on his routes. Rashad
10:46Baitman got hurt in that game. I was
10:48operating under the assumption that
10:50Rashad Baitman would miss at least the
10:51next game. Jacobe Lane could be a
10:54viable, you know, wide receiver 42.
10:56We're just talking about like flex plays
10:57here. Now, with Baitman back, the route
11:01share is not as clear. I would move
11:02Jacobe Lane down to my wide receiver 50.
11:04Someone I'm not looking to put in the
11:05lineup at all. And then our final kind
11:08of around the league updates that I
11:10have.
11:12The Eagles are so tough because we uh
11:16because they're playing on Monday, we
11:18don't really have any clarity on who's
11:20going to play, who's not going to play,
11:22game time decision, all of that. Devonte
11:24Smith, Dantavon Wix, and Dallas Scott
11:26all missed Friday's practice. Now, of
11:27course, if you play Monday, this is more
11:28of a Thursday practice. So, the big news
11:31will be today, Saturday, seeing if they
11:33practice today. If they don't practice
11:34again, then they're probably going to be
11:35out. And what this is going to do is
11:36going to open a lot of targets up to
11:41wide receivers playing against the
11:43Cowboys who are allowing the most
11:44fantasy points to wide receivers when
11:45adjusting for opponent. But of course,
11:47we're talking Mai Lemon. We're talking
11:48Darius Cooper. I'd probably have both in
11:51the wide receiver 40s. Like I probably
11:53have Mai Lemon around like wide receiver
11:5440, wide receiver 41, 42, and then
11:56probably Darius Cooper somewhere more
11:58towards like wide receiver 45. But both
12:01would be somewhat viable against the
12:03Cowboys if you're down bad. And then
12:05Pukanakua, he seems to be legitimately
12:07up in the air. Konata Mumfield is the
12:09name I would add if I was looking for
12:10wide receiver help. But they just rotate
12:13those guys so much between Konata
12:14Mumfield and you have Jordan
12:15Whittington. I think 22 Atwell still in
12:18the mix over there too. I hope I'm not
12:19wrong there. I I believe that's what
12:21they did the Jarz Hunter for a 22 Atwell
12:23trade. I think it's going to be a lot of
12:24tight ends. If I had to play anybody, it
12:26would just be Tyler Higgby. I think
12:27Tyler Higgby gets bumped up to I think I
12:29have him tight in 10 right now even
12:31without the Puka injury just with
12:33Devonte Adams going down. So something
12:35to think about with Puka Nakua but if
12:38you have Puka I think that you simply
12:40have to grab Konado Mumfield if you
12:43don't have a better option off the bench
12:44and you just wait until game time and
12:47play him if he plays and if he misses
12:49then it's Konado Mumfield time. But
12:52that's going to do it for us today. I
12:53hope that that was a decent video. I
12:54feel like we gave a bunch of kind of
12:56like sneaky starts. Not as many sneaky
12:58stats here sadly, but it's tough.
13:00Sometimes I sit down to do these sneaky
13:01start videos and then like everything I
13:04want to talk about just gets crushed by
13:06these injury reports and then all of a
13:07sudden I'm just kind of telling you
13:08like, "Oh, Emanuel Wilson because Zach
13:09Sharbon is out." So, I don't know. I
13:11don't know. We'll probably go back to
