George Pickens

Ron Stewart identifies George Pickens as a prime buy-low candidate, noting he is currently the WR17 in usage but only the WR33 in production. Pickens plays in the third-best offense in EPA per play and is poised for a spike week against the Texans, who allow the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers and the third-highest explosive play rate. Stewart suggests acquiring him at a WR2 price tag, even recommending trading away players like Wan'Dale Robinson to secure him.

0:00a player that I think you buy now, and
0:01then he scores a lot of points for you
0:03in week four. George Pickens is the
0:06number one option. Pickens is the wide
0:08receiver 17 in usage. He is the wide
0:10receiver 33 in production to this point.
0:12This is the third best offense in EPA
0:13per play. They are throwing the ball a
0:15ton. They are scoring points, and they
0:17are road underdogs this week versus the
0:19Texans. The Texans have the ninth
0:20highest pass rate over expectation
0:22allowed to their opponents. Their run
0:23defense is very good, but their pass
0:25defense isn't that great. They're
0:27allowing the third most fantasy points
0:28to opposing wide receivers, and they're
0:30allowing the third highest explosive
0:31play rate in the passing game to
0:33opposing offenses, which is where George
0:35Pickens thrives. So, this is somebody
0:36that I think you can buy for a wide
0:38receiver two price tag, put in your
0:40lineup, and get a spike week, similar to
0:42what we did with T. Higgins last week.
0:44Golden for Pickens all day. Two in for
0:46Pickens. Yep. Wow, Burden and Wan'Dale,
0:49yeah, for for Pickens I would do that.
