A.J. Brown

PositiveValue3:25

Ron Stewart would not take AJ Brown at pick 20 in a 12-team, three wide receiver, one flex league, even believing he has a career year coming; the source suggests this is not the right draft position for Brown despite the league format. Earlier in the draft, Brown was available at pick 109 overall in late August, indicating he was falling in ADP. Stewart expressed strong desire to draft Brown in round 3 but the player went off the board earlier than hoped, indicating Brown was a priority target that the source missed.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

NegativeValue32:43

The source declines to draft Aaron Rodgers as a third quarterback on the team, citing a preference against taking multiple QBs at that depth.

Insight page

AJ Barner

NegativeValue34:15

The source considers AJ Barner as a tight end option, noting the team has the luxury to take another tight end at this point in the draft.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveValue7:05

Amon-Ra St. Brown is positioned as a target receiver for the 8th pick in Ron Stewart's draft strategy; Stewart would start the draft with either Jahmyr Gibbs or Amon-Ra St. Brown as part of a top-7 tier in three-wide receiver one-flex formats.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveValue40:20

Baker Mayfield was selected alongside Parker Washington. The source preferred this pairing over Brock Purdy and Carnell Tate, noting that sniping Mayfield was valuable given how the draft was falling and the inability to push the quarterback position further. The source also approves of taking Baker Mayfield at the quarterback turn, indicating he represents good value at that draft position.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeValue4:06

Breece Hall made it all the way back to Ron Stewart at pick 311 in a half-PPR league; Stewart described this as an easy decision and expressed enthusiasm about letting Breece come all the way back in the draft. Stewart also considered Hall as an alternative to other running back options later in the draft, indicating he had value at that position. However, earlier in the draft Stewart avoided taking Hall despite availability, citing concern about his backfield situation and lead-back role uncertainty with his league mates' tendencies.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveValue63:21

The source identified Brian Thomas as a preferred late-round receiver option, suggesting him as an alternative flex pick in round eight and as a preferred selection at a particular draft turn as part of an alternative strategy that would have included Puka Nacua and Christian Watson.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue9:48

Ron Stewart positions Brock Bowers as an elite tight end option to consider at the 3rd or 4th pick in zero-RB scenarios where he takes Puka or Chase and gets locked out of running back. Stewart notes that even with Brock Bowers, he would need Josh Allen to return in the fourth round to make the strategy work, indicating Bowers is a key piece in aggressive receiver-first draft constructions.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue10:30

Ron Stewart identifies Brock Purdy as an awesome pick as the last quarterback in a tier, offering strong late-round value. Stewart also notes Purdy was the toughest draft decision in a Superflex league, where he had to choose between Purdy and wide receiver options (Parker Washington, Jameson Williams, Christian Watson), ultimately choosing Parker Washington and watching wide receiver run out.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeValue68:20

The source explicitly rejects taking Bryce Young as a naked quarterback pick in the draft, signaling poor value at that draft position.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveValue64:48

The source expresses satisfaction with Bucky Irving as part of the running back room alongside Saquon Walker and Marshon Lloyd, indicating he represents good value and fits well into the team's roster construction.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeValue11:00

Carnell Tate was the source's fallback wide receiver option after the position ran out following the Parker Washington pick, indicating heavy wide receiver depletion in the league. The source considered Tate as an alternative to Brock Purdy and Parker Washington, but preferred the Washington-Mayfield combination because relying on Tate in the flex every week was less desirable. However, the source later preferred Tate over Goff Leaporta at a particular draft turn, suggesting some value relative to tight end options.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue3:48

Ron Stewart selected CeeDee Lamb at the turn (pick 12 in a 12-team draft), indicating he viewed Lamb as strong value at that draft position in a half-PPR league.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue4:19

Ron Stewart rated Chase Brown approximately equally with Kenneth Walker at the turn but selected Walker instead. In a two wide receiver, one flex league, Stewart evaluated a trade offer of McCaffrey for Chase Brown and Olive, turning it down and stating 'I'm fine just holding on to uh Chase Brown and Olive. To me, that's about even,' indicating he views Chase Brown as roughly equivalent in value to half of McCaffrey in this league format.

Insight page

Cody Latimer

NegativeRole32:24

Cody Latimer is mentioned as a wide receiver option within the top 10 rounds of the draft.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveSleeper55:10

The source explicitly identifies Cyrus Allen as a flyer pick, indicating a speculative but targeted interest in the player as a late-round upside play.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeValue17:27

The source explicitly rejected Dak Prescott as a draft pick, stating 'Could do the Dak thing, but I don't really want to... The thing wants us to go Dak, but I don't really feel like going double elite quarterback after taking Lamar.' This reflects the source's preference to avoid double-stacking elite quarterbacks after already securing Lamar Jackson in round 6. However, the source later selected Dak and positioned him as a slight tier break below Jalen Hertz and Caleb Williams in the quarterback hierarchy, indicating Prescott was available at a later round as a viable fallback option.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeValue22:22

Ron Stewart argues that drafting Dallas Goedert over Kyle Pitts is 'simply wrong,' indicating Goedert is overvalued relative to Pitts' production projection advantage. In the context of Stewart's draft, where Pitts was outproducing wide receivers and running backs by two to three points per game, Goedert represents a poor value alternative.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeValue41:15

Ron Stewart selected Daniel Jones as a quarterback in a later round, anticipating that another drafter (Dimes) would take a quarterback again. Stewart's pick was strategic, based on draft flow and the need to secure a quarterback before the other drafter could.

Insight page

Darius Prince

NegativeValue21:40

The source expresses approval of Darius Price as a draft pick, asking how much higher the drafter wants him to go, suggesting Price represents good value at his current draft position; however, the source does not believe Price should go above Love in draft rankings, indicating Price is overvalued relative to Love at their respective draft positions.

Insight page

DeAndre Washington

PositiveValue41:04

Ron Stewart selected D'Andre Washington and positioned him in a tier ahead of Hubbard and Paul Dobbins. Stewart took Washington when he fell to him, indicating strong value at that draft position relative to other running back options.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeRole26:18

Ron Stewart considered Denzel Boston as a draft option but opted to prioritize other selections instead, passing on Boston in favor of Shaheed.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeMatchup55:31

Derrick Henry can be stacked with Lamar Jackson as a strategic pairing in draft construction, providing correlated upside in the same offense.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue0:53

The source approves of DeVonta Smith as a receiver pick at the 34th turn (round 3, pick 4 in a 12-team league), noting that if you wait on wide receiver until round three, DeVonta Smith is as good as that gets at that draft position.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveValue41:50

Ron Stewart selected DK Metcalf as WR4 in the flex position and upon reflection prefers this outcome to alternatives. Stewart initially considered Metcalf as a potential wide receiver three option if he had taken Jeremiah Love or Breece Hall instead of Flowers, noting 'that could work.' Ultimately, Stewart selected Metcalf in flex and retrospectively indicated satisfaction with the selection.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveValue33:27

The source expresses high conviction in Dylan Samson, stating 'I have so much Dylan Samson' before selecting him in the draft; this pick brings the team to five running backs, which the source deems sufficient depth.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeRole50:23

Ron Stewart selected Garrett Wilson during the live draft and acknowledged falling into the wide receiver position with this selection, indicating it was a positional pivot rather than a targeted pick.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeValue66:49

The source does not like the Isaiah Likely pick, indicating it was a poor draft decision. However, the source notes that Joe's overall receiver strategy through 10 rounds was strong.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue24:25

Ron Stewart describes his receiver corps of Jamar Chase and Neighbors J as 'amazing,' indicating strong draft value and satisfaction with his wide receiver selections.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveValue7:05

Ron Stewart targets Jahmyr Gibbs as a potential 8th-pick option in three-wide receiver one-flex formats, positioning him alongside elite receivers like Amon-Ra St. Brown as part of a top-7 tier. The strategy involves starting the draft with either JSN or Amon-Ra St. Brown, creating a seven-player tier that extends to the 8th pick.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue39:13

The source grouped Jalen Hurts with Caleb Williams and Dak Prescott as the final tier of starting quarterbacks in the draft, with Dak representing a slight tier break below. Hurts was selected as the preferred option over alternatives like Dak or Oliver Ekeler in the same round, reflecting confidence in his value at the quarterback position. The source took Hurts in round three with the hope that AJ Brown would still be available later in the draft.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeValue8:36

Ron Stewart prefers Jonathan Taylor over James Cook, describing Cook over JT as "getting too cute." In three-wide receiver one-flex league formats, Stewart deprioritizes Cook in favor of wide receivers, indicating format-dependent valuation where Cook ranks below JT in standard leagues.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeValue10:30

Jameson Williams was one of the WR options the source considered alongside Parker Washington and Christian Watson; the source ultimately chose Parker Washington over Jameson Williams and the other options.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue66:22

The source considers taking Javante Williams over another player to be a big mistake in draft strategy, indicating Williams is overvalued at that draft position.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeInjury23:51

Ron Stewart held Jayden Daniels on an IR spot after he went down in the prior year, creating bench-clogging issues and forcing reliance on backup quarterbacks. This experience illustrates the risk of investing in injury-prone quarterbacks early in drafts.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue41:35

Ron Stewart considered Jeremiah Love as a strategic alternative to Z Flowers in round three, viewing him as undervalued relative to draft consensus. Stewart wanted to 'spam receivers' and 'dare this room to take Bree Hall,' suggesting Love represents contrarian value that the room was avoiding due to conservative rookie sentiment.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveValue66:37

The source approves of Joe Burrow's draft performance through five rounds, indicating he made solid draft picks early on.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveValue6:57

Ron Stewart positioned Josh Allen as a top-5 tier quarterback in his draft strategy for a three-wide receiver one-flex format. Stewart noted he would only consider taking Allen at 27th or 28th overall in a league that punts quarterback, and only if all running backs get wiped out and he pivots to zero RB strategy. This indicates Stewart views Allen as a premium quarterback option but not worth early-round capital in his preferred draft approach.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue12:30

Josh Jacobs represents a draft pattern the source explicitly wants to avoid, stating 'we can't do the Josh Jacobs thing.' This indicates a reluctance to repeat a previous draft mistake or strategy, with the source using Jacobs as a cautionary reference point when rejecting Mike Evans at a similar draft spot.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue4:19

Ron Stewart selected Kenneth Walker at the turn, rating him approximately equally with Chase Brown but choosing Walker as his preferred pick at that draft position. Stewart also employed a 'double hero' running back strategy in another draft, pairing Kenneth Walker with Saquon Barkley early to take the two best available running backs.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveValue52:52

The source expresses direct interest in Kirk Cousins as a draft target, indicating a positive view of his value in the current draft environment.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveValue21:07

Ron Stewart acquired Kyle Pitts at an absurdly low price due to being perceived as a meme by BDG draft guide followers. Stewart debated Pitts for four consecutive rounds before securing him at a discount. Pitts was outproducing wide receivers and running backs by two to three points per game at the spot Stewart took him, making the valuation a steal despite negative perception. Stewart notes: 'I just got like a pretty absurd price on him just because he's like I guess like a meme for the BDG guys... he was out projecting like the wide receivers and the running backs uh at the like by two to three points per game at the spot I took him.'

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue60:38

The source approves of taking Kyler Murray at the quarterback turn in a live draft, indicating he represents good value at that draft position.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeValue13:24

Ron Stewart makes a strong conviction play on Lamar Jackson in round 6 of best ball formats, stating he cannot pass on the value even without stacking strategy. Stewart also notes that round 6 Lamar continues to be a tough button to pass on. However, prior-year injury context shows Jackson's injury forced Stewart to hold multiple backup quarterbacks (Dylan Gabriel, Marcus Mariota), clogging bench space. Despite this risk, Stewart avoids double-stacking elite QBs after securing Lamar in round 6, rejecting Dak Prescott in favor of other positions.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue39:36

Luther Burden is drafted with obvious conviction given the way receivers came off the board; the source ranks Burden above Devonte McLaren in tier, indicating Burden as a clear preference at the receiver position.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeRole62:12

Malik Nabers was selected early in a 10-man draft starting lineup alongside JSN and CD, indicating he was drafted as a core receiver option.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeValue25:25

Ron Stewart selected Mark Andrews as a tight end pick in the draft, indicating he could be sold on the pick with appropriate projections. Stewart states: 'I suppose you could sell me let's do Andrews here actually. Yeah, let's do Andrews.'

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveValue41:06

The source prefers Matthew Golden over Kan Booty in a 10-man draft context and approves of him as a receiver option in the flex, indicating Golden represents better value at that draft position.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeValue22:30

Ron Stewart selected Michael Pittman Jr. as a wide receiver pick in the draft, making a deliberate draft selection at this point in the draft.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeValue12:30

Mike Evans was explicitly rejected as a draft pick, with the source stating 'Goes Mike Evans, huh? No, we can't do the Josh Jacobs thing,' indicating Evans represents a trap pick or overvalued option at this draft position, compared unfavorably to a prior-year mistake. Evans was positioned in a tier below Parker Washington, Jameson Williams, and Christian Watson, with a pretty big tier break between Watson's tier and Evans' tier.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue10:15

Ron Stewart identifies Nico Collins as a viable target in zero-RB draft scenarios where he takes Chase or Puka, gets locked out of running back, takes Brock Bowers, and then Nico Collins comes back in the draft. This positions Collins as a complementary receiver in aggressive receiver-stacking strategies.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue10:30

Ron Stewart chose Parker Washington over Brock Purdy and other WR options (Jameson Williams, Christian Watson) in a Superflex draft, and wide receiver ran out so much that Parker Washington ended up filling the flex spot. In three-wide receiver one-flex formats, Stewart considers Parker Washington in the flex position a really strong play compared to typical flex options, expressing much more confidence in finding replacement-level production at RB2 than at flex. Stewart drafted Washington as wide receiver three and notes that selecting him in flex creates downstream draft cascade effects.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveValue4:06

Ron Stewart selected Puka Nacua early in his draft strategy, viewing him as a strong pick on the board. Stewart positioned Nacua as part of the top-5 tier in his draft strategy for three-wide receiver one-flex formats; he would consider taking Puka at the 3rd or 4th spot, and only in scenarios where he gets locked out of running back would he pair Puka with an elite tight end like Brock Bowers. Stewart believes Nacua should have been taken over Rome Odunze in a draft turn, suggesting Nacua represents better value.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveValue12:36

The source selected Rome Odunze, stating 'Let's take Rome. I never get Rome and he's like the only receiver left in the tier for me.' The source is above market on Odunze at 9.2% ADP and defends the pick against criticism, noting investment in a Ben Johnson offense with Caleb Williams, who 'could go nuclear this year.' The source ranks Burks and Leland higher but considers Odunze 'a fine pick in his own right.' However, the source also criticized taking Odunze at a particular draft turn, arguing Puka Nacua should have been selected instead, as the Odunze pick pushed the drafter into being locked out at QB2.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue11:15

Saquon Barkley was the source's highest-ranked running back and one of only two RB detours in a running back-hungry league where the source prioritized wide receivers. The choice between Saquon and Kenneth Walker was decided in Saquon's favor because the source already had two teams with Amon Ross St. Brown and Kenneth Walker. Barkley was selected as part of a 'double hero' running back strategy paired with Kenneth Walker, viewed as among the two best available players. The source expressed satisfaction with the running back room of Saquon, Walker, Bucky, and Marshon Lloyd.

Insight page

Sony Michel

NegativeInjury31:00

Sony Michel was one of the best high school football players ever, but the source attributes his injuries and early retirement to excessive workload at the varsity level, receiving approximately 400 touches from eighth grade onward. The source suggests his high school coach should be held accountable for overuse similar to pitch-count concerns in baseball.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeValue66:29

The source questions taking Tee Higgins at that draft turn, though acknowledges you could argue for a Burrow-Higgins stack strategy. The source's overall tone suggests this is not the preferred pick at that draft position.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeValue18:39

Ron Stewart identifies Tyler Warren in the ninth round as superior keeper value compared to Ibuka in the eighth round. Warren provides a tight end lock in a two-wide-receiver, one-flex format, allowing the drafter to avoid early tight end pressure and feel confident about replacement-level production at the position. The source states: 'Probably Tyler Warren in the ninth... if I could just lock in Warren and uh not feel any pressure to take it early tight end, I would feel good about that.'

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeValue4:49

Zay Flowers is drafted alongside Jaylen Hertz as one of the two biggest draft decisions; the source debated taking Crystal L instead and later reflected on whether Hertz and Flowers or Oliver and Dak would have been preferable.

2:05I'm not sure. I think that he did not that great today, but it's all good.
2:09Great BDG draft. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
2:12Never pick at the turn, bro. What's up, Brandon? What's up? What's up? We got Junior in here. Draft guide looks solid.

2:27draft guide is fully up todate. It is my baby. The basementdraftguide.com. Make sure you check it out. What spot did I
2:35draft in your league mates? Uh I got the I uh got pulled in the lottery sixth.
2:45The man, the myth, the slugger. Yo, chill.
2:49Hate your league mates knowing about me?
2:52been using your ranking, goat, trying to be prepared for my draft. Hell yeah, dude. Hell yeah. Sorry about that. Think the mic is chilling now. You killed it
3:01in your lemates. Thank you, man. It seems like the the comments didn't relate to my team that much. Um but I I
3:06thought I did really well. I thought I did well just considering the way the board fell. Uh I get after this turn,
3:12I'll pull up the draft board. We can talk about uh your leaguemates a little bit.
3:18Always at the turn, bro. It's crazy.
3:23What's up? We got Ramen in here. 100K.
3:25Oh, wow. I thought that that was maybe tonight. Wow. AJ Brown at the 109. All right. These are the rooms you get in
3:32late August, which is really nice.
3:38Let's see what this guy does.
3:46He goes JT. Damn it. I would have liked JT. Let's take CD Lamb and we shall go. We shall go from there.
3:54Luck is horrible but great for content for me. Drafting in the 12th hole. Hell yeah. When you were up to pick in the
3:59ninth and Jayen Reed was there.
4:02It it is funny how uh a lot of the players in today's video of the guys I'm betting my season on uh I drafted in
4:09Yuri at league mates which I I can I counted as one of the 12 teams.
4:14Uh which I think makes sense.
4:18Puka Nico to start. Scared to take Breeze because knowing my leadmates, I think best pick on the board will be Wilson. H I don't know if I would factor
4:25that in. All right. So then we come back around to the turn. We could take Walker or Chase Brown. I have them about
4:32equally.
4:35Let's do Let's do Walker.
4:42What's up? We got Jimmy Cheese in here using your top 60 rankings for my draft today. You got Kenneth Walker, Chase
4:49Brown, Zay Flowers, Burden, Watson, Lad Gddard, Kayla Williams Blooms. That sounds about right. Great draft. Thank you, man. I got the third pick in a fantasy draft.
4:59Who was a better pick? I like Chase over Puka.
5:03Yeah, there were a couple there were a couple drafts that are that are interesting, man. There are a couple drafts in there that were interesting. I
5:08I thought I don't know, dude. for for a guy in Jack who has won the league and like made back-to-back championships.
5:18I I don't know. Jack's always down to do something weird, but he's kind of cut out a lot of work for himself. Catching
5:25the quarterback values isn't a isn't a terrible idea, but it's also not great. I'm trying to think of who his quarterbacks were. Oh, yeah.
5:36He didn't have to take I'm trying to think. I don't know if he had to take Herbert.
5:43Why' I pick the 11 spot? Come on. Team is nice. Thank you, man. Awesome draft.
5:47I'm keeping Caleb in the fifth in the Superflex tomorrow. Should I go for a quarterback before that? Honestly, no.
5:51If my QB1 is Caleb, I'm probably going to wait a bit on QB2.
5:59Don't forget to like. Thank you, Fagalo, Ibuka, and Brie for Achan.
6:06Uh, it's about even. It's about even. Finished the homely draft last night at the 104.
6:12Hell yeah, dude. Sup, Ron.
6:16No idea about American football, but I like the content. Your way of drafting helped me get a hang of it. Hell yeah,
6:20dude.
6:24Gonna miss you, Mr. August.
6:27Do you regret taking eighth overall, all things considered, after it shook out?
6:30Honestly, no. I think I I picked the right spot. I I uh It's funny. my con my first my first round
6:38confessional got cut. Um but what I said was I honestly kind of wish I picked the seventh pick cuz in in my head in a
6:48three wide receiver one flex. So very similar to the NFC high stakes leagues we do where it's super wide receiver hungry. Um you know missing out on the
6:57top five which is Josh Allen plus Puka Chase Bejian Gibbs. Uh, I just wanted to be set up in a spot where uh I could get
7:05I could start my draft with one of JSN or Aman RA St. Brown. So that'd be those five plus Aman RA plus JSN. That's only
7:13seven. I was in the eight spot. I needed somebody I and I didn't really in my head I didn't really realize that. Uh I
7:19needed someone to take Lamar Jackson in front of me, but Gut did it and I think Nerd Stash said they were going to do it
7:24anyways. So we ended up kind of in the perfect spot. we locked in an elite receiver uh in a format where I think
7:30that that's very valuable and then we still got uh a really strong running back to come around to us in the second
7:36round. So, I think that we played that perfectly. Um there were probably two there were only really two spots where I had to think uh
7:47really hard about what I wanted to do.
7:58You're also picking golfers this weekend for your draft order.
8:07I was saying, yeah, I have I have uh Aberg or Oberg.
8:13Let's do So, we have Kenneth Walker, CD Lamb, Breeze makes it all the way back to us at the 311. We will be taking
8:19Bree.
8:21That is easy. And a half PPR. You're going to let Breeze come all the way back. I love it. Just took flowers at
8:28404.
8:36I am uh James Cook, CD Lamb, Jefferson.
8:40Uh if I'm going to rank those three players, yeah, we'll see. He's But I mean, I
8:53wouldn't count him out from being able to flee somebody. Uh, that's always kind of the concerning part in a league like
9:00this, especially with Vert. Especially with Vert. And I hate to say that because Vert's a nice guy. Uh, but, you know, someone's going to take
9:10advantage of the guy. And I guess I should have the mentality that, you know, if it's going to be anybody, it
9:15should be me.
9:18But it's tough.
9:21finally caught a live stream. Loving the draft guide. Hell yeah, dude. Hell yeah.
9:29Where I would consider going elite quarterback and tight end. If there's a if there is there Gez, dude, it's late August, man. Is there a draft spot or
9:37situation where I would consider going elite quarterback and tight end?
9:44probably the three or the four spot where I take Puka or Chase and I get completely locked out at running back.
9:50Like it would have to be Chase Puka, I take like Brock Bowers, but even then probably not. Like I would need Josh Allen to come all the way back
9:59in the fourth round. I I I don't think there's a scenario where I take Josh Allen uh 27th or 28th overall. But if
10:05you're in a league that punts quarterback, I could see like Chase Bowers, Nico Collins, and then Allen makes it back, all the running backs get wiped,
10:15and I'm like, "All right, I'll take Josh Allen. We we'll just we'll just do some zero RB stuff."
10:22Uh, I'm JT over James Cook. I think Cook over JT is getting too cute.
10:27Yeah, they Well, here's the crazy part is like and I guess part of it's because of Superflex and part of it I mean we've
10:32kind of dealt with it in the RT sports room where like even in an RB hungry room if you're not in the certain
10:37pockets uh like the the toughest decision for me was Brock Pury was staring me in the face. Uh and then so
10:44was like one of Parker Washington, Jameson Williams, Christian Watson and I had to decide if I was going to be happier with the wide receivers coming
10:52back or the quarterbacks coming back. So I took Parker Washington and then wide receiver ran out. so much that I I had
10:57Parker Washington through the flex. I come back in the next round and it's wiped to the point where like my next
11:03best wide receiver is like Carnell Tate.
11:05Um so even in a setting where it was running back hungry and where my only detours away from wide receiver were
11:12Jaylen Herz and Saquon Barkley, I still could really only fill my wide receivers through the flex uh with like receivers I really like.
11:21like I didn't have any really extra ammo in a two wide receiver one flex. Would I break the tie
11:32towards Sequin over Jefferson? Uh, honestly yeah.
11:40Oh, so it's a common thing to pick golfers. Reese exposure up to 42%.
11:46Yeah, that's always the concern with Jack is he's going to get somebody.
11:54Uh my ideal spot was one of the top five picks and then if not one of the top five, it was the 108. Uh because we had
12:01done a Superflex stream the night before and I literally used my we ranked the draft positions at the end of that
12:08stream. Uh and like after the top five picks, 108 was my next favorite.
12:16Yeah, Jack had uh Bejon, McCaffrey, and JT through three rounds last year. Love the squad. Thank you, man.
12:27All right, we're up in one pick.
12:31Goes Mike Evans, huh? No, we can't do the Josh Jacobs thing.
12:36You know what? Let's take Rome. I never get Rome and he's like the only receiver left in the tier for me. Let's take some
12:42Rome. What what's my percentage on Rome?
12:449.2%. For all the guys out there that say I don't like Rome, I'm above market on Rome in baseball. So, you can you can
12:50suck it. That's what I got to say to you.
12:55I literally don't even mind Rome. People swear that I hate Rome. I think investing in a Ben Johnson offense when I think Caleb Williams could go nuclear
13:01this year. Uh I think they're all good picks. I mean, I definitely like Burden and Leland more and have them ranked
13:07accordingly, but I think Dun's a fine pick in his own right.
13:13What's up, Tim? Dejon love. Dude, that story is so [ __ ] funny, bro.
13:21God damn it, dude.
13:24Round six, Lamar in a best ball, even with no stacks. Like, this this just has to be the pick.
13:31Yeah, that just has to be the pick. I I can't pass on round six Lamar. I just can't do it.
13:37We got a super chat in here.
13:41Someone just offered me macaffrey for Chase Brown and Olive. Turned it down.
13:49Fellas fellas fellas fellas.
13:53When I get a uh I appreciate the super chat, first of all, of course, but I I need to know how many uh what's the
14:01starting lineup?
14:04What's the starting lineup uh in terms of like running backs, receivers, flex? If it is this I assume this is a two wide
14:12receiver, one flex or is it a two flex?
14:16If it is two wide receiver, one flex, I probably prefer McAffrey, but I'm also fine. I'm a big And was clowning me for
14:23this. I'm curious what you guys think.
14:25Like unless you're fleecing someone, dude. Unless you're fleecing someone, unless uh you know like a player of
14:33yours terrace his ACL in practice, I draft my teams so that they're like I'm fine with them in week one. like I I
14:43I don't I'm really not looking to trade until like um there's a problem I need to solve, which like I guess is to my
14:51detriment cuz again I I certainly see the upside of poking around the league and like sending out trade offers and feelers to see if you can uh you know
15:01trade a dollar for a$125 cents with a league m who's maybe not the brightest.
15:08It's just a grind that I don't have the mental bandwidth for. Um, so here I understand the value here. This is two
15:18items, huh? So I think honestly in that scenario, I'm fine just holding on to to uh Chase Brown and Olive. To me, that
15:26that's about even. That's about even and I'd rather just stay.
15:30But like I I draft my teams through the flex with like depth in mind to the point where like I feel good. Like I'm I'm ready to rock
15:38week one. Like Tony was like badgering me about trying to get one of Baker, Daniel Jones after the draft and I'm
15:43like dude uh I I drafted my team like and I like my team and then if I was to give you a
15:54quarterback, I'd have the same problem you now have or my quarterback is bad, right? Like if this guy feels like he
15:58doesn't have depth, so he's giving you CMC for two players, you take on CMC and now you just kind of have his problem
16:03where now you don't really feel great about your depth. You know what I mean?
16:06So, like once you get to them, you know, the first few weeks of the season and maybe somebody off your bench becomes a
16:12big hit and whatever and then you have like surplus value or somebody gets hurt and now you have a problem to solve.
16:17That's when trading starts to make sense for me. Uh, pre-week one, it's just a lot of like art of the deal [ __ ] you
16:23know?
16:25I agree. I think we all should band together and freeze out Dra uh Jack where he has to uh like have one of these guys
16:34uh just sit on the bench every week.
16:40No, most of my leagues uh I mean you guys see the high stakes stuff I play in. I I uh it's a it's a conflicting
16:48thing because I think trades are fun.
16:51I think trades are fun and they're at the heart of fantasy football, but I think trades are much better in like a
16:57sophisticated league where nobody can get taken advantage of and you're genuinely trying to solve problems.
17:06Uh, what can we take here?
17:10There goes Sutton.
17:14Could do the Dak thing, but I don't really want to. I think I'm going to go Dowel.
17:25Yeah, we'll take D. We'll take D. See what comes back.
17:31The thing wants us to go Dak, but I don't really feel like going double elite quarterback after taking Lamar.
17:37All right, so he goes downs and Godwin.
17:39Damn, that sucks.
17:42I should have seen that. He had three three running backs already.
17:48You know what, man? And we're going to take Dak.
17:54Let's do it. And then we're done at quarterback.
18:00We played that poorly to be honest. I wanted one of downs or Godwin after that. I don't really like any of the the
18:05wide receivers who were left.
18:13But in a baseball, I'm fine doing that.
18:39What's a better keeper value? Ibuka in the eighth or Tyler Warren in the ninth?
18:45Probably Tyler Warren in the ninth. Just given it's a two wide receiver, one flex. First overall is taking Chase Hampton other keeper in the fifth. Yeah,
18:51give me give me Warren there. And then you're just good to go at tight end.
18:55Unless of you think that there's a good chance that you end up wanting to take Bowowers or Lovelin or Trey McBride. Uh
19:02if some of those guys are keepers or you know that you're just not in a position to take any of them, then give me Warren
19:06in the ninth. Like in in a two wide receiver one flex, if I could just lock in Warren and uh not feel any pressure
19:13to take it early tight end, I would feel good about that.
19:39Ibuka in the eighth or burden in the 16th. I'd probably do the same thing.
19:42I'd probably do the same thing. I have them in the same tier.
19:52Was definitely stoked when Burden uh honestly Burden was like the last receiver in a tier for me when I got him
19:57in uh Yuri at league mates.
20:15You a guy you took Josh Allen round two just took her to round seven. This that's indeed why we play the game, bro.
20:20That is why we play. How do you like your draft in the league video? Uh I really like it. I would I called it like
20:25an A minus.
20:27It's not like an embarrassment of riches because like I said, it's not like there's definitely a couple teams who didn't know what the [ __ ] they were
20:33doing, but then also there's just a way that drafts shake out at times. Uh I think that there were better values on
20:42the front half of the board. Like if I could have been where Nick was drafting, I would have felt a lot better.
20:47Uh but it's kind of how uh how the cookie crumbles, you know.
20:53But I think given where we were drafting from and like the the options on the board, I think we played it as good as
20:59we could have.
21:04All right, now we're about to be up.
21:07See, that's why I uh I punted on tight end. I know uh Boston was saying go tight end there. I knew that we were
21:13going to get Pits or Fannon to come back. So, we can take Pitts here. And I will say that's another funny one is
21:19like their their rankings are so or all everybody's drafts are so heavily influenced by Nick and it makes sense. I mean they all have the BDG draft guide
21:28whatever. So Devon Han even a guy that I'm not really drafting. I thought that he was a great value to nerd sesh and
21:34then I got Kyle Pitts like probably there was like four rounds in a row where I was debating Kyle Pittz. Uh and
21:40then I just got like a pretty absurd price on him just because he's like I guess like a meme for the BDG guys.
21:50Let's take Michael Pitman here.
22:03Like, it's one thing to hate Kyle Pittz, but it it it got to a point where it was egregious. It it was egregious. Like
22:14on one hand I but like Dallas Goddar over Kyle Pittz is just simply wrong. Um so it was great. I mean he was out
22:23projecting like the wide receivers and the running backs uh at the like by two to three points per game at the spot I
22:30took him.
22:40And like in that league, tight ends are super like tight ends don't mean anything. The the benches are so shallow that their starters available every
22:47week. So like there I think that there was a when I took I think when I took Herz
22:55I was definitely debating Bowers but Titans are just so un they're so um like nerfed in that format just given
23:08the bench sizes given uh the depth of your lineup like you can fully punt tight end. And then that was the other
23:15confusing thing. There were a lot of teams who like if you're going to take an elite tight end like uh Icever took
23:20um he took Trey McBride and then who did he take later that I was like then he took a tight end later and it's
23:28like you you just in that league you just don't have the and that's why I'm I'm glad that it's year two and I I
23:33learned some uh m uh mistakes from year one of just like what the waiver wire is going to look like and what's going to
23:41be easy to replace.
23:45And that's that's the other thing of like the way that Tony drafted where like if you if you take Kirk and you
23:51take Mendoza and it was an issue I had is like when you don't have good quarterbacks uh because Jayen Daniels goes down. So now I'm holding Jayen
23:59Daniels on my IR spot last year. Uh Lamar's hurt. So now you are like you're holding Dylan Gabriel and Marcus Mariota
24:07and all these guys that are like clogging your bench. Uh, so you get put in a spot now where like Tony has like a billion quarterbacks
24:15kind of like clogging things on his bench and it gets really tough.
24:25How do my receivers sound? Jamar Chase Neighbors J. I mean that sounds amazing.
24:32Yeah, we definitely learned from our mistakes last year. Also interesting that um Icy Ver went to the same high school as Marv. That's like a
24:41big time uh private school in Philly.
24:43Think it's like St. Joe's Prep or something like that. I want to say DeAndre Swift and Olakius went there as well.
24:51I'm a little bit too tapped in to uh high school football. I'll be honest with everybody, but it's a fun fact for
24:57the three people that care.
25:11Uh yeah, he took Kel and it's like I guess you could talk me into like I don't know if you want to like whip out
25:17the projections and be like all right uh I suppose you could sell me let's do Andrews here
25:31actually.
25:34Yeah, let's do Andrews.
25:36Yep. Kyle McCord. Good pull.
25:51Fun fact, uh, as we're talking about people, uh, people we, uh, went to high school with that play in the NFL, uh,
25:58Germaine Alumnor went to my high school and his younger sister was in my graduating class.
26:11All right, so then we're up again.
26:18Let's do Denzel Boston here. Or actually, no. I want to start I want to take some more Shahed.
26:24Let's take Shahed.
26:31Prep is legit. Oh, there's a super chat I missed. My bad. My bad. Appreciate the super chat from Ramen Singh at the 101.
26:40I'm going to assume you took Gibbs up top.
26:47Oh, okay. Never mind. Could you rank them in order? Uh, Nico Pickkins, Rashi Olave.
26:53Um, in a two flex, I am Bowowers
27:01Bowers, Nico Olive, Pickkins, McBride, Rashi Rice.
27:08That's where I'm at.
27:14Uh, I went Aman Ross and Brown over JT and Cook because it was a three wide receiver, one flex league.
27:21Like I have JT in CMC or uh I have JT.
27:25Yeah, I have JT over Aman Ross St.
27:27ground, but not James Cook in like a normal home league. But in a three wide receiver one flex, you just I I
27:34essentially in a three wide receiver one flex, I break like if I have a running back in a tier and a wide receiver in a
27:41tier, I I just prefer the wide receiver almost every time.
27:55high school football goat.
27:58I'm not that tapped in. I My high school football one of the the best high school football players probably uh probably be
28:07like Sony Michelle.
28:09Sony Michelle was a monster in high school.
28:15Jabril Peppers was a big deal in uh New Jersey.
28:24Yeah, Dererick Henry's probably the high school goat.
28:27Played against Puka in high school.
28:29Well, you're out there in like Utah, Nevada, something like that.
28:34What's a last pick flyer you find yourself grabbing a lot? I'm picking a little bit of NI Harris. A little bit of
28:39NI Harris.
28:46You played against Luther Burton. I had a buddy who played against uh our school played against David and Jooku's younger brother uh who just he didn't end up
28:55being anything.
28:57His name is Charles and Jooku out of Wayne Hills.
29:04Terrell Bernard Parker Washington.
29:20Let's see.
29:22We're one pick away here.
29:27Could probably still keep up at wide receiver here. We're all set on quarterback. probably all set on tight end, but I'll I'll leave the door open.
29:48Let's do floori and see what comes back.
29:55I think this is going to end up being like a 2592, but you could talk me into something else.
30:11Definitely done at quarterback though.
30:13You could you could talk me into a third tight end potentially.
30:20I was going to say this guy takes tank.
30:22I'm going to be upset. Let's do tank.
30:27The tank.
30:32When drafting within the first seven rounds, will you or should you ever dip down a tier to get a player at a
30:36different position?
30:38Uh, not really. [sighs] Not really. Unless it's like a two wide receiver, one flex and like drafting the best available receiver just is like
30:49diminishing returns.
30:55Yeah, I'm the receivers over CMC and a three wide receiver one flex.
30:59Yeah, Sony Sony in high school was different, bro. Sony in high school. And the the issue is like Sony is one of the
31:05the best high school players ever, but like his high school coach should be locked up because I mean this is me
31:11fully putting on a tinfoil hat.
31:14But um I really do think that Sony Michelle's like injuries and early retirement can be traced back to him having like 400
31:25touches at the varsity level from like eighth grade on. Uh, that's that's for real. He genuinely was like his high school varsity bellcow in eighth grade.
31:34Uh, and they just spammed him for the next five years.
31:40They genuinely, that's honestly something that I I would get on a soap box about that. That similar to like high school uh pitch counts and stuff,
31:48they should have that for uh for high school running backs.
31:59First wide receiver off the bench and a two wide receiver two flex league. Uh yeah, Lemon, like I said, Lemon's like
32:03the perfect plus one.
32:09QB and tight end cut offs for not needing to take a second shot. Honestly, anyone inside like the top 10 rounds?
32:24I I know of Cody Latimer.
32:30Stacking wide receiver is such a wrong thing to do. I can't wait to see you smashing this year.
32:35Uh I mean sexy sexy P knows what it is.
32:38just in a in a three- wide receiver one flex like I don't know you guys know I'm trying to like having Parker Washington
32:43in the flex feels like a a really strong play whereas like everyone else their flex is like shitty. I know, of course,
32:51we're just kind of taking that problem and putting it in our RB2 spot, but I feel much more confident uh in finding
32:56replacement level production at RB2 uh instead of the flex.
33:08Uh through wide receiver, two flex, just break ties to the wide receiver.
33:27Let's do the thing wants to take Rogers, but I'm not taking a third quarterback on this team. It's just not happening.
33:37I think I'd also like to take a wide receiver here. The receivers are dry, though.
33:57thing wants to take sharp.
34:00No, I'm going to Dude, I I have so much Dylan Samson. But we'll take Samson.
34:04We'll take Samson. That gets us to five RBs, and that's probably enough.
34:15I might go AJ Barner. I'm trying to think.
34:19Do we have like Gu just give me Barner?
34:26We have the luxury to take another tight end.
34:36Let's put me up here, I guess. Here's where we uh here's where we've ended up so far.
34:45Actually, I don't know. I don't know about you guys, but I I prefer viewing a team like this. We have Lamar and Dak at
34:50quarterback. We have Walker, Bree, Rico, Dow, Tank, Bigsby, Dylan, Samson. We have Lamb, Ibuka, Rome, Pitman, Shahed, Florenoi. We have Pitts, Mark Andrews,
34:59AJ Barner. I'm thinking we end this team.
35:02I think we do a 2583. I feel like the receivers are a little bit weak.
35:07Feel like Walker, Bree, D, Tank, Samson.
35:12What do you guys think? 26. Uh, probably 2673 on this team now that I'm looking at it. Probably 2673.
35:28You went to school with Quiddy Pay.
35:34I love that everyone's like a one degree of separation from uh from guys in the pros.
35:49But it it does make you realize there's really levels to this [ __ ] cuz I even know the guys who like didn't quite make
35:54it. Like there was a guy uh who went to Satan Hall Prep, which like Satan Hall Prep is like one of the the private
36:00schools around here. Uh TJ Gibbs was his name and he was a monster at basketball.
36:07Uh he got a full ride to Notre Dame as like a legitimate recruit and just nothing.
36:13I will say shout out Noah Brown. Poor one out for Noah Brown getting released from the Raiders the other day. Uh but
36:19he went to a private school that's like a 10-minute drive from where I went to high school. He was like a legit
36:26fourstar wide receiver coming out of high school. went to Ohio State and I guess what his his five seconds of fame and fantasy was like when Nico
36:37Collins and Tank Dell went down and he like was startable for four weeks.
36:51Let's do Jaguars Giants Cincy.
37:08All right, they want us to go Jaden Blue. We'll go Jaden Blue. Fine by me.
37:13And then we'll take a receiver.
37:16Oh, the Harrison Twins were studs, bro.
37:20The Harrison Twins are responsible for The Harrison Twins are responsible for Devin Booker coming off the bench in
37:31college. And it wasn't even that crazy.
37:33He was that guy or they were that guy.
37:36Um, let's let's pull up the Y League Mates draft for a second here and uh just rattle off some quick thoughts
37:44before we get into another draft.
37:50So, here it is. Make sure you check this out. Y leaguemates. Uh, it is the content draft we do. Whoa, I'm getting
37:59exposed here. I'm not actually Oh, I am.
38:01I am subscribed. All right. I don't know why they're exposing me with that. I'm subscribed to all of them.
38:06Um, did I show the draft board?
38:15There's a draft board.
38:18So, here's the draft board. This is my team in the eighth spot.
38:24We went in a superflex. We went Aman Ross same Brown. Uh we went Aman Ross Brown, Seaquan, Jaylen Herz, Z Flowers,
38:32Luther Burden, Parker Washington, Baker Mayfield, Trevon Henderson, Jaden Reed, Rico Dattle, Daniel Jones, Kyle Pitts, Aaron Jones, Denzel Boston, and Dylan
38:41Samson. Uh, now here's what I'll say about this squad.
38:45There were a couple of tough decisions.
38:46I'm on Ross saying Brown and a three wide receiver one flex. I kind of sprinted to make that pick. Saquon's another one. Um,
38:55we took him. He was my highest ranked running back. It was between him and Walker. I already had I have I think I
39:00already have two Alman Rosane Brown and Kenneth Walker teams. So, I was like, you know what? We'll just take Saquon here. We come back around. This is where
39:06here here are the to me the two biggest uh decisions that I made here that I'm curious what you guys think with the uh
39:13benefit of hindsight. We go Herz and Flowers here.
39:17Looking back on it, I I did debate like I I knew I was going to take Bowers. I did debate taking uh Crystal L here.
39:27So looking back like what do you guys prefer Jaylen Herz and Flowers or I was also concerned that essentially to
39:36me I I saw Herz, Caleb and Dak as the final QBs in a tier with honestly Dak is kind of like a a mini tier break away
39:43from them. Uh but we take Herz but we could have done Olive come back around and take Dak. So you guys let me know
39:51what you prefer. Olve and Dak or Herz and Flowers here. Come back around. when we sprint to take Burden. I think Burden
39:57was obvious uh just given the way the receivers ripped off the board. After Burden, I have Devonte McLaren in like a
40:04tier below him. We do that. We come back around. Now, here was the the next hard decision was take Parker knowing that I
40:11have Parker, Odun, Jameson Williams, and Christian Watson in a tier, and then a pretty big tear break to Marv, Mike Evans, and whoever else you like. Uh
40:20Carnell Tate, whatever.
40:23But Brock Perie was also an awesome pick here as the last quarterback in a tier for me. Uh so we go Parker Washington
40:31and Baker, but this could have been Brock Perie and like Carnell Tate. I think this one I I am much more uh I
40:39think I'm much more into Parker Baker over pretty tape because then we would be relying on Tate in the flex every week. Um it's also nice that
40:48we we sniped Tony on Baker. I knew we couldn't push that quarterback uh with the way that his draft was falling.
40:55Uh Henderson to me was like a no-brainer. Um I I was honestly between these three running backs here, but I took Henderson as like an upside swing.
41:04Reed, you guys know I just like him.
41:06Could it could have been one of, you know, Golden, Miley Lemon, whatever. Uh D kind of falls to us here. Like Dow I
41:12have in a tier ahead of like Hubard, Paul Dobbins, but we take him. Come back around. Daniel Jones again. I knew that
41:20uh Dimes was going to take a quarterback again here. So, I take Daniel Jones. Uh we get to take Kyle Pittz as like the
41:27tight end. I don't know, like the tight end 10 in this [ __ ] room. Um so, I think again the the biggest decision
41:33points were Herz and Flowers versus Olve and Dak and then Parker Baker versus Perie and Carnell Tape. Outside of that,
41:44I didn't really flinch anywhere else.
41:46Um, I suppose instead of Flowers, you could have talked me into Jeremiah Love or Bree, but I just knew I needed to just spam
41:55receivers here because then, let's say instead of Flowers, this was Jeremiah Love or Bree Hall. We go into round eight. Instead of Trevian Henderson, I
42:04guess our wide receiver three would be like DK Mechaf, which could work. That could work.
42:16I guess that's another 2v2 of like let's say Jeremiah Love and DK Metaf or uh Z Flowers and Henderson.
42:27That one's not as obvious to me. But again, I just wanted to spam receivers and dare this room to take Bree Hall.
42:34Like everyone's drafted off of Knicks rankings. They don't like Breeze.
42:37They're a little bit out on the rookies.
42:39Uh, but yeah, I like the team. I think it's built really well.
42:45I think you had to be strategic with where you went away from the wide receiver position. I think two detours is really all I could afford through six
42:52rounds. And I think we made the detours at the correct spots is what I would say.
42:57Round two, running back was no-brainer.
42:59Round one, wide receiver was no-brainer.
43:01Herz and Flowers was tough.
43:04Could have went away from Flowers to get a running back.
43:11But then Burden wide receiver two, Parker Washington wide receiver three.
43:16Honestly, I I might like the team better if that's the case. If instead of Flowers, this is Jeremiah Love or uh
43:22Bree.
43:27Jeremiah Love or Bree. And then our flex instead of Henderson in RB2 is Metaf.
43:33But I'm not like the mechaf is fine, you know. Or instead of me, it could have been Brian Thomas, I suppose.
43:40See, I don't know. It was tricky.
43:55But yeah, that's the thought process of this team. Those are those are like the three different critical decisions to me.
44:02Flowers versus the running backs, Herds versus Olive, and then Pwash Baker versus Pertie
44:11versus Pertie Carnell Tape.
44:17But all right, yeah, that's like a little bit of a breakdown of kind of my thought process there. Let's let's let's
44:21hop into one more draft here. Let's do one more draft over on the dog app.
44:30We are waiting on seven people if anyone wants to join. Of course, we are drafting all summer long, some of which
44:35are over on Underdog. When you play $5, you get $50 on the site. Make sure you check it out.
44:43Promo code Ron links in the description and the comment section down below.
44:50What else we got here? No, I I like I like flowers as well.
44:56This is insane. This is See, this is this is what kills me because it's one thing to say, "Okay, I I uh I never
45:03played baseball growing up, but to say like I'm unathletic is crazy or that like I don't get out of the
45:13basement."
45:16I would say in fact I've upgraded to an apartment that I'm walking distance from a gym of and when it's not August I'm in
45:23the gym like four or five times a week.
45:36Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine punting off RB2, but I I think we could have made it a strong spot. Um but then it's tough,
45:43man. It really It's like a game of whack-a-ole. Like we could have had a better RB2. Uh but then my flex
45:48downgrades, but then like you know instead of Parker Washington in the flex, everyone moves up, right? We don't get Z Flowers in wide receiver 2. So
45:55then wide receiver two is Luther Burton.
45:56Wide receiver three is Parker. Wide receiver four in the flex is DK Metaf. I might like that better now that I I
46:02think back on it.
46:04Flowers versus Lover Bree was tough. I thought maybe one of them could come back, but you live and you learn.
46:12Oh, I would have loved AJ Brown if he got to me. I was telling Gut uh round three when I took Herz, I was really
46:17hoping AJ Brown came back.
46:35Another 12, dude. Insane, bro.
46:40He said, "Do you think I got out with the best team?" I think uh I appreciate that, man. He said, "Dude who was
46:44drafted Dart?" I mean, he's the one who who won last year, so it's tough.
46:51It's truly insane, bro. It's truly insane.
46:55You love the thumbnail.
47:00No, I agree. If Han made it back to me in round three, I I would have I would have sprinted to take him. And you guys
47:06know I don't even really like him. Let's do Squan. And we just took Kenneth Walker in the last one.
47:16Let's take No, let's do Kenneth. Let's just take our two best players. Saquon Walker for a little double hero. Little double hero start. What do you know?
47:26I know. It's truly insane, bro. I'm I'm starting to get pissed.
47:40Yo, chill chill chill.
47:51Yeah, if AJ Brown came back essentially, I was looking at uh they they didn't make it easy on me.
47:58Wow, that is a high neighbors. 203 neighbors.
48:04Let's actually I'm going to pull up the draft board again and we can kind of look back on it whenever whenever I feel
48:09like it.
48:14But that's what I was like here. I thought maybe it was too good to be true. Of course it was too good to be
48:19true. AJ Brown and Achan were the two guys I was hoping came back to hurts here.
48:31I don't think there's anybody who's gotten as bad of pick luck as me this summer bro.
48:45Yeah. No, I I debated Bowers heavy at that pick. It's It's just the way tight ends get valued in that league. like
48:54they'd have to really fall for me to take one.
49:02Yeah, I thought Gut's team was solid. I thought Gut's team was all right. Like, who did he take?
49:09Jackson, Hampton, AJ Brown, Hall. I wanted Tet when he took him here. Uh Price, a great pick. Great pick. Yeah, I
49:18think Gut has one of the better teams.
49:19And Marshall Lloyd here looks like a genius now.
49:42That's the issue is I just knew tight ends were going to fall.
49:48No, it's truly crazy, bro. It's truly crazy.
49:54I get the Henderson stuff. I just thought it was a a fine price there, man.
49:59JT did fall.
50:04We got a super chat here. Any tips for a 14 teamer? Two wide receiver, two running back, one flex, one superflex.
50:09Hm.
50:14Let's do Let's make these two picks and I'll get back to you. Let's do this.
50:23Let's do Garrett Wilson and I guess I fallen in these, huh?
50:38Uh, what was I looking for? Oh, okay.
50:42Any tips for a 14 teamer, but it's two wide receiver, one flex, one super flex.
50:48H, I'd say that puts a that puts a lot of value on quarterback. Obviously, it puts a lot of value on quarterback.
50:59Outside of that, I don't really have anything else there.
51:09quarterback early. I I'd probably want to try and fill I want at least one elite running back in this setup. And
51:16you don't have to be as wide receiver hungry with only one flex spot.
51:26Uh Cavs of Destiny, I think it's literally just uh he doesn't work for BDG anymore.
51:35playoff committee stuff is a little goofy. Yeah, it's not my favorite, but um whenever Nick or Jack are dreaming big from a content perspective, I'm just
51:46going to kind of close my eyes and trust their vision is kind of what it comes down to. Uh but it is also hilarious
51:53like how I'm trying to word it the right way. I mean, it kind of is just like how dumb people are of like everyone's like,
52:00"How does this even work? Like the regular season doesn't matter if they're just going to pick all the all the teams
52:03or whatever." And it's like Nick literally clearly states at the beginning of the video that hey, the best record is an auto bid and the most
52:11points is an auto bid. That could be two teams, that could be one team, but at the very least, the top of the line will make it. The
52:18cream will rise to the top. Uh, and then it'll really just kind of be the wild card teams that get picked by the
52:24committee. Uh, and they're not going to like I I think honestly it's going to be kind of anticlimatic like I think or uh
52:31yeah, anticlimatic where like I think that the the top six teams are just going to end up making it uh barring
52:38something crazy like a week 17 injury or like somebody really getting screwed in terms of points for in a tough schedule.
52:46Like I think it's it's honestly going to kind of be a nothing burger. Like I I think uh it's going to be fun and it's a
52:52good twist. Uh, but I think that there's pro I think that it's like I would give it like an 80% chance that the six teams
52:58in the playoffs would have been the six teams in the playoffs regardless.
53:03But maybe I'm being too uh too positive.
53:06I don't know.
53:10Uh spooked a little bit with Bowers, but I I'm actually I'm into Kirk Cousins and uh and Mendoza.
53:21That's that would be my logic, but like Nick because Nick and Jack think it's a good content idea. Uh, and also I don't
53:30call the shots.
53:33I'd say we held a vote and I did not vote for the committee.
53:47Wow. By far my best player here is Bucky.
53:50Let's take Bucky.
53:57Let's take Bucky and a receiver. Let's take Marv.
54:02Actually, you know what? Carlo Tate's like all the all the rage right now.
54:07Even though round six Lamar continues to be a really tough button to pass on, but we'll do that. 14th pick in a PPR 14man
54:15league. Welcome to the club, man.
54:19Um, I go RB RB if Jefferson or Lamb are not available.
54:40Yeah, QBs are are crazy valuable in that guy's side. not buying this scat FUD.
54:49Um I'm actually I'm into Scatabo. I I don't think Naji Harris is amazing for him, but uh I'm enjoying like the four five
54:57turn prices on him. He got to a spot in the offseason. I mean, he goes here at this 34 turn, I don't love him at the 34
55:03turn, but once the wide receivers dry up a little bit more and you get to the four five turn, uh I have him and Swift
55:10like back to back right here.
55:12I'm not a Chiron guy, but this is actually a great price on Chiron.
55:20You can get round four Pickkins, round six Rashi, round eight Scatabo, or round 10. Wow.
55:31What's your uh what's the format like PPR? How many uh wide receiver and flex spots, all that?
55:40I'm in on Cyrus Allen as a flyer.
55:44I hear you. I just fell behind that receiver and we literally just did a Lamar Jackson team. I I have too much
55:50Lamar right now to be honest. I'm a fan of picking at the two three turn.
56:08Uh yeah, you can stack Lamar and Derrick Henry.
56:18Scott's getting to the 56 turn on on FPC.
56:22I got to check that out.
56:29Check out Fantasy Mojo real quick. y'all know about fantasy mojo.
56:39I still got him four five turn, but I think if I saw like what's the latest he's fallen?
56:47Latest he's fallen 508. Yeah, I love seeing the latest a guy has fallen and just get upset about it. Like
56:58somebody got a 605 Basil Tootin in the last 24 hours.
57:03That seems pretty nuts.
57:08All right, we're about to be up with backtoback picks here.
57:13Still very behind that receiver.
57:17Thing wants to take Sutton.
57:27Go Godwin and then probably Addison.
57:39Yeah, we'll do that. We'll kind of make up ground at receiver. Now we're in a pretty decent spot at receiver.
57:48I think that this could be a four running back team.
57:53uh fantasy football, why it's so popular compared to basketball and other sports is just that it's honestly the perfect fantasy football
58:02uh the perfect fantasy football game uh with only one game per week. I think outside of that it's just really tough.
58:13But I I will say I mean fantasy baseball like is the start of fantasy sports in my eyes. Like those guys are the
58:18founding fathers is what I would say.
58:20Um, but in terms of that versus like basketball, uh, it's just so perfect is what I would say. One game a week,
58:30one waiver wire, all of that. And basketball and stuff, you're you're like constantly doing it. Uh, and then also basketball is like so scammy in terms of
58:39it doesn't it's really hard to truly properly rate like the best players in basketball because it's kind of just like stat patterns more than
58:49anything else.
58:53And then baseball the same way.
58:59I I agree. That's why I play the stuff on um on underdog, which today's actually a great or right now is a great
59:06time to look at my I have a dinger. I have a baseball team
59:12right now that's in uh the playoffs.
59:19Not looking hot.
59:22Yeah, we're done. We're 400 points out of first place. Uh, and we only have between now and Sunday night to get
59:30there. Yeah. No, we'll see, but probably not.
60:02Uh yeah, the uh in the description there should be a Discord link.
60:08Wow, I didn't even consider Scatab over Bucky. There I have Scatter Head.
60:17Uh, I'm a Yankees fan, but like they're the lowest team on my like totem pull, I'd say.
60:38Um, probably no more than than two teammates and a quarterback in terms of uh guidelines for drafting players from the same team.
60:54But yeah, like I'll go to Yankees games and stuff and uh they're fun, but I also I couldn't name you the starting lineup.
61:02All right, so give me Bake. I think we're going to go Bake and Kyler.
61:09Yeah, let's go Bake and Kyler at this turn.
61:14I like that a lot.
61:19Uh yeah, you can apply my rankings to an 18 team, two wide receiver, one flex. I would just say that that means that that
61:25that's a league where it's just get your guy man.
61:36Uh baseball's on right now.
61:40The committee did do the power rankings, the uh preseason power rankings. Yeah.
61:47No, I'm not taking Cedric Toman.
61:51What's up, Trey Cobb? That's a OG super flex, but it's three receivers and
61:59three flex. Wow.
62:05I'm probably still be over chase there because there's so many flex spots.
62:12It actually weirdly doesn't um like it pushes up receivers having to start at three every week, but three flex spots also means you can start up
62:22to five running backs in a given week.
62:24Um so I'm actually fine I'm fine with Bejon at two.
62:30I don't think I'd push quarterbacks down because it's super flex.
62:46Uh I'm Matthew Golden over over Kan Booty. Started JSN CD and Malik in a 10man. Uh that's going to play.
62:54That's a start where it's like, "All right, you're going to give me these three straight up. All right, we'll do we'll do zero RB and see what happens.
63:01I think you and Nick crushed the elite mates draft. Thank you, man. I I will say the one thing I'll say about Nick's
63:06draft, I think he got too cute at this turn here. Uh when I was debating uh Perie here, he takes Rome thinking that,
63:15you know, there's the thing is that Casey could have definitely just doubletapped quarterback here. That's what he was saying of like, well, Jack
63:21already has two quarterbacks. He won't take a quarterback and Casey won't double tap quarterbacks. I don't know why Casey wouldn't double tap
63:26quarterbacks.
63:27Um, so he takes Rome here, pushes it, and then gets locked out at QB2 a little bit. I don't know why I think that he
63:36should have gone pretty here. And then you take, you know, one of Odun, Watson, J Mo at this pick.
63:49And then I probably wait on Fannon and I take Brian Thomas here. So he could have had like let's say Perie, Christian
63:55Watson, Brian Thomas or you know let's say this is Darnold
64:06instead. Uh Odun Watson Darnold like when I passed on pretty here I thought for sure Ank was taking him
64:16here.
64:19Yeah that was filmed before the Jacob stuff.
64:29Uh, I like your darian price myself. How much higher do you want him to go?
64:36How much higher do you want him to go?
64:44Let's do thing wants to take Dallas Goddard here.
64:48H.
64:52Let's do GDDAD.
64:55Let's do Goddard. Marshon Lloyd, man.
64:58And I think we're going to be done at running back there. I think boom. I think that that might just be it. Saquon
65:04Walker, Bucky, Marshon Lloyd. I feel good about that room. Need a third quarterback and a third tight end on this team and still need to kind of spam
65:12receivers a little bit.
65:19How old of a viewer is an OG? Um, anyone before 2024? I'd say 2023 and before you're an OG.
65:282024 is when we really popped. Um, home league is a 12 teteamer, three wide receiver, one flex. I have 12. Am I
65:36crazy for pulling up AJ and thinking he has a career year? Pulling him up where?
65:41Oh, I I'm I'm probably not taking him 2011. Even in that format, I'm probably not. But again, it's like the crazy
65:48thing. Um, you know, uh, if if this is your one league you really
65:59care about and you really want AJ Brown, you can take him at the 2011. You can do it.
66:08My two-month old positional rankings video is still relevant. Uh, probably not.
66:18Should price go above love?
66:22Not. Not to me. Nate Nate did all right, too. Yeah, I'll give that to Nate. Nate Nate is hilarious. I I love He's like
66:29just so serious. He like sat down in his chair and was just like fully analyzing everybody. Essentially was talking about Ner's team. He was like, "Yeah, like
66:37Drake made someone to fade. Han, love, like all the Mahomes, all these guys are are like fades on all the uh fantasy
66:42sites. Like I don't even know what he was referencing when he said that [ __ ] but uh Nate is hilarious. Uh you guys
66:49know me. I'm I'm not a fan. Like Javvante over uh I think is a a big mistake. I think T. Higgins over a
66:57I guess you could if you wanted to argue the stack, you could have gone uh like Burrow Higgins A. Joe cooked this
67:03through five rounds. Joe did pretty good. Joe did pretty good. It just again I I think drafting a second tight end in
67:10this league is just it's not the play.
67:15So I don't like the Isaiah likely pick, but I actually think Joe through 10 rounds really cooked receiver through the flex with Devonte Olive. I mean
67:22that's like if you if you wait on wide receiver until round three. I mean Devonte Olive is as good as that gets at
67:28the 34 turn. Uh two in at the 5'11. I'm fine with Goff Leaporta.
67:41Probably just take Tate instead of Leaporta here. Carnell Tate instead of Leaporta. And then you have receivers with the flex. Golden's your plus one.
67:48Uh and then likely is just your tight end one. That's probably what I do.
68:10Yeah, they ignored wide receiver a bunch. The late round picks probably didn't have enough upside.
68:20Let's do Let's do Terren Ferguson.
68:26Actually, no. Let's do Hawk for the stack.
68:31Hawk for the stack. And then I don't know. It wants to take Terren Ferguson.
68:33And I kind of just want to We need another quarterback, dude.
68:41We just take a naked Bryce. No.
68:45And take Terence Ferguson for some fun.
68:53This is a weird team. This is out of the 12 spot. We go Saquon Walker, Gary Wilson, Ibuka, Bucky Irving, Carninal
68:59Tate, Chris Godwin, Jordan Addison, Baker, Kyler, Dallas, Marshon Lloyd, TJ Hawinson, Terence Ferguson. We need one more quarterback and we got to spam
69:08receivers a little bit here.
69:17Call me an [ __ ] Well, I I don't know why you'd be an [ __ ] for it. I would
69:20say Joe's um I would say Joe's like I do agree that it's like a lot for him to juggle, but like if he likes being in the league,
69:31then like I think it's up to him, you know.
69:36Uh I think the buyin's like 250 or something. Nerdsex taking Mahomes 506.
69:44I thought that was a fine price for him.
69:47It's not what I would do in this league.
69:48I'm probably punting QB2 a little bit more, but I think that that's fine.
69:56But yeah, like I think in this league I don't think Rodriguez or KD here and these are just like rookie receivers or
70:02like whatever I can get my hands on.
70:04Same thing with like Manung guy. I think with Han Love, Jonathan Brooks, like you're set with those three.
70:11Just needed more shots at receiver and instead of like Tank Del, this just had to be like a rookie, you know?
70:18Chris Rodri instead of Chris Rodriguez like a rookie receiver would have been good, but they'll figure it out. I I wouldn't
70:26count th those guys out.
70:33Uh wide receiver clip is definitely a lot earlier on underdog for sure. I I like think they're going to cut like
70:41instantly.
71:00I will say, of course, thank you guys for coming out. Leave a like on the stream. This is one of the
71:06biggest or honestly this is probably the draft weekend of the year. So, make sure if you have a draft coming up, check out
71:10the basementdraftguide.com.
71:12My tier top 200 is on there. My target rounds for every player, my targets, fades, sleepers, the ADP edge tool, you can compare my rankings to
71:23high stakes rankings and Sleeper and ESPN and Yahoo. ESPN actually just pushed out a big update uh that of course our ADP edge tool scrapes the
71:33site every single night essentially and those are now up to date. You can see the new values on ESPN, all that and
71:39more over on the basementdraftgu.com.
71:43Big, big stuff. Everyone that has it in the chat uh has loved it. Uh it's honestly been one of the most rewarding
71:51things I've done in my entire life, building out the basement draft guide.
71:55Um it's actually funny. I had uh I hooked up a a uh girl I've known since high school uh has a fantasy football or had
72:07a fantasy football draft yesterday uh with like her college buddies I guess. I think it's like an allgirl league maybe like one gay guy or some
72:15Um, but it seems like she crushed her draft with the basement draft guide, which uh would be a cool testimonial if
72:25she could not know a thing about football, sync the basement draft guide up to her sleeper league, and then beat her friends with it. Uh, so we'll see
72:33how that goes.
72:36We'll see how that goes. I'll read off um I'll read off how that draft went for her. She sent me the team last night.
72:44She synced up the basement draft guide.
72:46She drafted some targets. It was a 14 team league.
72:5114 team league. She went from the 102.
72:5414 teamer. Bejon Jeremiah Love, Z Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jameson Williams, Jaylen Herz, Jonathan Brooks, Stfan Diggs, Dallas Goddard, Xavier
73:05Worthy, Mike Washington, Kyler Murray, Jawan Johnson, and Travis Hunter.
73:13It's tough to judge in a 14 teamer.
73:18She definitely she definitely didn't draft the best player available.
73:24Uh she definitely was using vibes because even as much as I like Z Flower, Zay Flowers at the Z Flowers at the 302
73:35isn't quite one that I would do, but we'll see how it goes. We'll see how it goes.
73:58You absolutely could. Thank you, man.
73:59You played the quarterback board really well. Yeah, we we definitely had a lot more we we knew a lot more of what to
74:05expect this year of like how the quarterback runs are going to go. Uh punting off tight end, kind of like what
74:12matters in this league. So, I feel good about where we're at.
74:15Just a matter of solving our our RB2 problem. That's all it's going to come down to.
74:28No, quite literally.
74:43Gone undefeated in a managed league. Uh, yeah.
74:47Yes, but that's only because I've done so many.
75:01What else we got in here?
75:06Punt quarterback or tight end in a two wide receiver one flex. Uh, no. I would actually want an elite quarterback or
75:14tight end in that setup because it's going to be one of the easiest way to like differentiate yourself from others and they also take
75:21up a big percentage of your starting lineup.
75:33Got the 101 UN Gibbs neighbors Jeremiah Love Bird and two and that sounds good.
75:39I probably wouldn't have taken both Love and Totin, but if it's a two- wide receiver, one flex, you're probably you can get away with it.
75:51Let's take take Jeremy Bernard.
76:12And then we'll do Jordan James, I guess.
76:15Uh, let's actually do Calvin Ridley.
76:20We're going to do the weird four running back team. Uh, so this is a weird team.
76:24We go Baker, Kyler, Gino, Saquon, Kenneth Walker, Bucky Irving, Marshawn Lloyd, Garrett Wilson, Ibuka, Carninal Tate, Chris Godwin, Jordan Addison, Kan
76:33Booty, Jeremy Bernard, and Calvin Ridley. And our tight ends are Dallas Goddard, TJ Hawinson, and Terrence Ferguson. I actually kind of like this
76:42team. Uh, it's weird, but in a good way.
76:46It's weird, but in a good way.
76:53But appreciate you guys watching. This was a just a quick little Friday night stream. Uh go subscribe to Yi Leaguemates. Check them out. Subscribe.
77:03All that good stuff. Subscribe to all these guys. Nerd Sesh is amazing. Of course, BDG. I mean, BD doesn't need any
77:08more subscribers.
77:10Go ahead and go ahead and unsubscribe from Monk's channel.
77:14Uh I'm just joking. Uh subscribe to your elite mates. All this. Check out the video. Uh it's going crazy, I will say.
77:20I mean, if you guys want some behind baseball stuff, um the the way views are counted on YouTube over the since like
77:29the 27th have been really weird. Uh and views on every video posted in the last two days have kind of been inflated. So,
77:36not that you guys would care, but something weird uh going on where views are inflated, but appreciate you guys watching. We will be back tomorrow for a
77:47$1,000 highstakes silver bullet draft over on the NFC that I'm very excited about. Stay tuned for that. I'll have a video out tomorrow as well. Anyways,
77:58subscribe, leave a like, uh, and I'll see y'all in the next one.
