NegativeRoleOct 27, 2026
Christian Kirk is a drop candidate with zero targets, indicating he has no role in the offense.PositiveSleeperOct 24, 2026
Available everywhere; ranked WR48 on the road versus Falcons (allowing 6th most points to WRs when adjusting for opponent). At least a stash to see how he fits into 49ers offense. Competing with Jordan Watkins and Brandon Cooks who have been on field longer but combined for only 2 targets on 47 routes last week. At 29 years old, Kirk had 18% target share and 4.3 targets per game last year on Texans. If he earns 5 targets in this high-scoring offense, that's a win.PositiveRoleOct 20, 2026
Kirk is working his way back off IR; with all 49ers wide receivers hurt, the source believes Kirk has more juice than Brandon Cooks and could find himself in a starting role sooner than later. The 49ers wide receiver room is depleted with injuries, creating opportunity for Kirk.
