0:00This is it. It's the final draft weekend and this is the final mock draft.
0:04I've got the wild and wonderful, the great and powerful, the almighty of football, Walter Football on the show and we're ready to mock.
0:10I'm going first, you're going seventh. Walter, are you excited?
0:13I mean, football is here. This is it, brother.
0:15Yeah. Great and powerful. Can't wait. You know, I was like, I was like, yeah, yeah, I'm ready for football.
0:20But now I got called great and powerful. I'm like, I'm really ready for football.
0:24Let's do this final mock draft here. Dude, I'm pumped up, man.
0:27I'm ready to dive in. Guys, before we get into this, we just got a couple plugs.
0:32We are independent, so we are excited to share the best content with you.
0:36If you have not gotten 16 Rounds, you're an idiot at this point.
0:39Get 16 Rounds. Do not draft. Do not be the guy that walks into your league without 16 Rounds.
0:44You will be light years behind everybody in your league.
0:46So secure the solution and secure the championship. Grab it below.
0:49Enter 16 Rounds. Use code DEAL. Last minute DEAL.
0:52Use code DEAL. Save 20%. This is it, man.
0:54Get 16 Rounds. I've linked it below. And Walter Football.
0:57Go to WalterFootball.com. He's also got a YouTube channel.
0:59Go to his YouTube channel. Hit subscribe right now.
1:01He's got amazing content. Walter, what do you have throughout the season that people can get access to that's a lot of value for listeners right now?
1:08Where can they find you? Yeah. WalterFootball.com. We have NFL picks against the spread.
1:12We had a really good year last year. We're like, we're up 550 units, which is up $5,000 on the year.
1:18And we had so many bad beats too. I actually wrote a book called You're the Bad Beat because we had so many bad beats.
1:24Like we could have had like a monster season.
1:26So if we have good luck this year, we're going to have a great year.
1:30So picks against the spread on WalterFootball.com. We have 2027 and 2028 NFL mock drafts.
1:34So if you're wondering like, who's going to get drafted in a year and a half?
1:38You could find that on WalterFootball.com. So yeah, tons of content that we have on the site.
1:43We'll do everything to get you guys ahead of the Kinshipzis, even a couple of years in advance of the head of the Kinshipzis.
1:49We've got to always think it ahead. All right.
1:51So I'm ready to dive into this mock draft.
1:54I'm going from the first position, 1.01. Again, grab and hit the thumbs up, smash it, tap it.
1:59Let's get the energy here. Lion mentality. Let's go.
2:01So I'm going to go first overall here. And a lot of people will say, Joe, if you don't go Gibbs or
2:07Robinson, let's say you go third or fourth, I always go Hampton.
2:10So that's why I wanted the first pick because I wanted to show you who I would get if I was going first overall.
2:16And, you know, honestly, the path is so clear for Jameer Gibbs.
2:19Like, you know, we got Pacheco, who's the only competition starting the, is he starting the year on IR, Walter?
2:24I mean, this is crazy. Yeah, he's going to be an IR.
2:28They even said that they hope he can come back at some point this year.
2:31So it's not just like four games. It's going to be, he's going to be out the whole year.
2:36Actually, like if you're looking late, late round, if you're looking for a handcuff, I think Jacob Saylor's the new RB2 in Detroit.
2:42He actually looked pretty good in the preseason, but it's the Jameer Gibbs show.
2:46He's going to get every opportunity possible. It's insane.
2:48You know, I'm going to play a lot of DFS week one.
2:52Gibbs is going to be in almost every single lineup I do.
2:55I got to go him. I would look at him.
2:57I love Hampton and I would not be surprised.
3:00Hampton has a phenomenal year ahead of Gibbs, but I just have to, I have to do this, man.
3:05Like I have no choice. I got to go Jameer Gibbs.
3:07Like, like I'm looking at the stats here. I'm looking at everything.
3:11And Jameer Gibbs, where are you here? I got to, how do you even get this guy here?
3:15It won't let me add him here. I hit the plus.
3:18You hit the plus. I'm hitting the plus. It's not letting me here.
3:22Oh, you have to hit star draft then. We're going to edit that out.
3:25Quick time. All right, man. I got, I got to go Jameer Gibbs.
3:29We're going to start this draft here. We're going to roll it out.
3:32And there's the plus button and there goes Jameer Gibbs.
3:35I get too excited here, but he's the clear cut one for me, man.
3:38Yeah, I would be excited too. If I had the top pick, it's Jameer Gibbs.
3:42Like no question about it. There's actually a report saying that B.
3:45John Robinson is not going to get as many goal line carries as, as people want, because it's going to be Brian Robinson Jr.
3:52I don't really buy into that, but you know, it's still like Gibbs is on the better team and he has the easier schedule.
3:58So it has to be Gibbs one and then B.
4:00John two. And then I guess chase three, you know, but like I can, I can go with James Cook as well at three.
4:07And that's, that's who I'm taking here. I'm glad to get him at seven.
4:10Joe feels like the last two mock drafts have done together.
4:13You sniped him away from me. So I was able to get cook finally in a mock draft that we've done together.
4:19So very excited about that. Yeah. And I find these mock drafts here on this app are pretty accurate in regards to
4:25like ADPs, because you see everybody kind of accurately coming off.
4:28There isn't any weird kickers or any weird ADPs coming off.
4:30This is kind of how you would see it.
4:33Now, one disclaimer, I do want to talk about when you are doing a draft, as we're doing this final mock draft
4:39to give you some guidance and make sure you guys do grab the 16 round drafts.
4:43So you know who to draft me to position.
4:45I want to tell you guys something. Those running backs are extremely scarce.
4:49Like if you don't secure two running backs in the first five rounds, you're kind of SOL because there's a massive fall off.
4:55Now there is running backs that are going to break out the Mike Washington's, the Emmett Johnson's, all the sleepers lay down in 16 rounds.
5:01You can get, you can see who the sleepers are, but they are questionable.
5:05They're not like a sure thing. You're going to lose a sure thing after round five.
5:09So it's very imperative that you guys important that you guys get these running backs early.
5:13Yeah. I can't stress that enough. I did a real fantasy draft on Sunday.
5:17And last Sunday, it's a big money league and we're in the fourth round.
5:20I have four runs. I started a quadruple running back because it's a two running back, two flex.
5:25So we could start four running backs. I'm taking four running backs.
5:28And the guy, this guy, the commissioner's brother is in the middle of the fourth round.
5:32And he's like, where'd all the running backs go?
5:35And I'm like, well, if you've done any mock drafts, you would know where all the running backs went.
5:40They all go early. I'm going to take another running back here.
5:43Look who's available. Marion Hampton is available to me at 206.
5:46Wow. What a no brainer. Cook and Hampton the start.
5:48This is an amazing start for me. I'm very happy about it.
5:51That is a great start. And I can't believe Hampton fell.
5:54And I can't believe Jeremiah Love fell. I have to take him here.
5:58And what I talked about prior to the NFL season, what I kept talking about is Jeremiah Love, the path will clear for him.
6:04I guarantee it. And sure enough, they wanted to get rid of Trey Benson.
6:08He sucks. He got waived. He's starting on IR.
6:10He's done. And James Conner starting on IR. Everyone's like, oh, James Conner is not.
6:14And Algier, we know is a backup. And now there's talk about him playing week one because he had that little ankle thing.
6:20Dude, I am 100% comfortable here going Jeremiah Love.
6:22I love this start. And I'm bolstering and boosting my running backs here.
6:26So sign me up. I'm going to go Jeremiah Love.
6:28And here's the beauty. I can take a look at wide receiver.
6:31I could pivot here and go McConkie. And I like to secure that ace wide receiver.
6:36Probably a good time to do it. But like, I look at this and I get guaranteed volume out of Javante Williams.
6:41And I take away an ace running back off the board and a great offense.
6:45I'm going to go triple RBs here. Why not do this?
6:48Again, we're going 10 rounds today. For those who don't know, we're going to do 10 rounds.
6:53If you want the full solution, if you want every pick drafting from first, sixth and twelfth, grab 60 rounds so you can see it.
6:59But I just, I got to go Javante. Like I'm tempted here.
7:02I mean, I can't let anybody else get a workhorse running back.
7:05I'm doing it here, Walter. The trips, the trips.
7:08I think it's a good move for sure. Triple running back is a great way to start.
7:12Much better than triple receiver. I've seen people do that.
7:15And they're like, the running back too is like Chris Rodriguez.
7:18It's like, oh God. Bashal Tootin as the one.
7:20They usually have Bashal Tootin as like the one.
7:22That's crazy. Like he could have a good year, but there's uncertain, right?
7:26Oh yeah, absolutely. You can't start a draft this way this year.
7:29Look, if there are more running backs, there are more good running backs available late, then you could go receiver early.
7:34You can go quarterback or tight end early. But like running backs are so scarce, you have to look at the scarcity.
7:40You have to look at where the value is.
7:42The value is with the quarterbacks and tight ends late, but there's no value with quarterback tight end early with all these running backs.
7:49Because like once you get past round five, round six, there are no good running backs left.
7:53And like I said, everyone I've done a mock draft with, they come on the show, except for you, you're like the only one because you know this.
8:00Everyone else has come on as a guest. They're like, where'd all the running backs go?
8:05How can I get a good running back? And it's like, well, you have to take them early.
8:09I'm going to do what you did. I'm going to start triple running back.
8:13And I'm going to go with Brees Hall, the workhorse for the Jets.
8:16He catches a lot of passes. And this is PPR.
8:19So we're looking at a running back who's going to be very productive.
8:22So yeah, I love Brees Hall. There's some other options I could have taken there as well.
8:27And this is going to sound crazy, Joe, but I think I'm going to start quad running back.
8:31Wow. And that's it. That's it. I'm done at running back because my guy here is available, Cam Skadabo.
8:36How can I pass on him? I've talked him up on your show every time we come on.
8:41I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't take him here.
8:44So yeah, Skadabo. And then I'm done at running back.
8:46I'll take maybe one more later. And that's it.
8:49That's it. Yeah, I like that move here. And there goes Judkins.
8:52Now, here's the thing. There goes Judkins and Montgomery, who I love as my fourth running back.
8:56But the beauty of it here is I'm going to go quad running back too, but I just want to take a quick glance at wide receiver.
9:03I think there's still great wide receivers here. Zay Flowers, wide receiver one.
9:07Waddle, potentially wide receiver one. DJ Moore, boomer bus player with Josh Allen.
9:10Love it here. So we've got some amazing options.
9:12I think I'm going to go with youth here.
9:15I love Luther Byrne. I love the situation with DJ Moore now being gone.
9:18You know, this is a beautiful thing here. I get a wide receiver one.
9:22Yes, it's not Jamar Chase. Yes, it's not Amon or St.
9:25Brown, but no guarantees with those guys. Justin Jefferson was a first round pick last year, and he finished outside the top 20.
9:31There's no guarantees. There's a ton of depth at wide receiver.
9:34Carnell Tate's a wide receiver one. We got Brian Thomas or Parker Washington's wide receiver one.
9:38Marvin Harrison. Look at this, wide receivers for days, but you can see a major fall off at running back.
9:43And I'm going to start off with quad, but everyone went back to back, so it doesn't matter here.
9:48But I love Jadarian Price. He's playing the season opener on Wednesday.
9:51Listen, Seahawks running back. Back, Chabarday starting on IR.
9:54Give me Jadarian Price. Take him off the board.
9:56Round four. And I'm going to go Luther Burden here, getting the potential wide receiver one.
10:00We saw him come on late last year at the end of the season.
10:04And here's the beauty of this stack here, this core four I call, is that I don't really have to worry about running back at all later.
10:11I can do everything else at Cherry on top.
10:13Now I can start building a wide receiver. Tight ends are a crapshoot after the first four.
10:18Ace quarterback I can still get. So I'm going to go Luther Burden here, and I'm solid.
10:22It's a great start. He could be the number one in Chicago.
10:25A lot of people like Adunze. I like Luther Burden myself.
10:28So he had an injury scare. Sounds like he's going to play, so it shouldn't be an issue at all.
10:33Yeah, I think he's a great option here. And Jadarian Price, that's outstanding as well.
10:37I love it. Yeah, so I can get my ace receiver as well.
10:41It's a great example here where you can draft your core four, like four great running backs, and then get DJ Moore,
10:46who's going to be the number one receiver in Buffalo.
10:49He's going to have the best quarterback he's ever had in his career.
10:52That's absolutely huge for him because he struggles through some very bad quarterbacking over the years.
10:57It's been awful for him. So you can tell he's exciting.
11:00He's excited. He has this energy to him. It's got to be very refreshing for him.
11:04Now, I was hoping for Drake May to come back.
11:06I think Drake May could be a league winner this year.
11:09I sometimes get him around six. I got him, I think, 6'12 in that league I told you about.
11:14Right. And I just think that he could be the QB one this year.
11:18I think there's a really good chance of that.
11:20A lot of people like Josh Allen. I like Josh Allen, too.
11:23But Drake May was QB two last year, and he had a decrepit Stephon Diggs and K.
11:28Shambute as top two receivers. Matt Collins is three.
11:30And now he has A.J. Brown, and he has Romeo Dubs as his top two receivers.
11:34So major upgrades, and they fixed their offensive line.
11:37They added a first-round tackle. Their other first-round tackle from last year is healthy now, and they signed Elijah Vera Tucker, who's a really good guard.
11:43So I think they're going to be a lot better offensively, and I think that they have a really good chance for
11:49Drake May to be the number one quarterback this year.
11:52So I'm up here. We disagree on this. We disagree on this guy, Parker Washington.
11:56I think that the offense is going to flow through him in Jacksonville.
11:59You're going to have Brian Thomas on the outside.
12:01He's going to catch some deep passes, but I think he's going to be inconsistent this year.
12:06He's good in best ball, I think. Whereas one week he's going to have four catches for 100 yards on touchdown, but
12:12the next week he might have two catches for 30 yards.
12:14Because it's going to be dependent on whether or not Trevor Lawrence has protection in the pocket.
12:19But what Thomas is going to do is open everything up over the middle for Washington and Strange.
12:24That's how Liam Cohen's offense functions. They just love attacking the middle of the field.
12:28So I love Parker Washington this year, especially in PPR.
12:30This is where the gloves come off. I'm going to do the opposite.
12:34I'm going to go Brian Thomas here. I still think he's the alpha dog.
12:37I think he's playing for a contract. He's going to bounce back, chip on his shoulder from last year.
12:42So this is something we're going to come back to week one.
12:45By the way, I'd like to get you on.
12:48We're going to do a preview show here. Make sure you guys turn on the bell.
12:52Preview. We're going to talk about the spreads. We're going to talk about everything Friday morning.
12:56We're going to get that out. I think we should do a Friday morning.
13:00We'll get that out for you or Friday afternoon.
13:02We'll get that out. We're going to record Friday morning.
13:05We're going to have a full preview show for you.
13:07Maybe I'll release it Saturday morning. We're still debating on that.
13:10We're trying to figure out our schedule. But Walter and I are going to discuss all of the spreads, everything for that week.
13:16So we're going to debate this pick. I want to come back to this after week one.
13:21And we're going to have a talk and discussion.
13:23So I'm excited about that. In season. So turn on the bell.
13:26But yeah, I mean, look, I got to go.
13:28I got to get my ace quarterback. I know Justin Herbert is not going to come back at this point.
13:34I know some people are scared. Look, Joe, you've got Brian Thomas as your wide receiver too.
13:38I'm not really concerned because I still think there's a ton of wide receiver depth later.
13:42And this is my last chance to get an ace quarterback.
13:45Mike McD in the offense. Justin Herbert. The only problem is they do have a tougher schedule.
13:49I understand this, but and they lost their center.
13:52But you know what? Compared to the other guys in Caleb Williams could be great.
13:56But I just see so much upside with Herbert this year as a safe, secure guy.
14:00And you got to take a look at Lance at wide receiver.
14:03Marvin Harrison could be an upside guy. Boomer bust.
14:05There is a couple other good options here that I might miss out on.
14:09But one more thing before we pick here. Look at the drop off at running back.
14:13Jalen Warren, Chuba Hubbard. We're only in round one.
14:16What round are we? Seven. And at this point, everything's a crapshoot.
14:19So we got to note that, Walter. And I'm going to go Herbert here.
14:22There's one running back I would consider here. And, you know, given that the receivers have dropped off a little bit.
14:28And I think the receivers here I can get in the next pick.
14:31There's one running back left. And like I said, I was going to take one more running back later.
14:36So this is it for me. The five running backs.
14:39This guy is, you know, he is. I called him Mr.
14:42Glass in the other episode. But Marshawn Lloyd, he is the starting running back for the Packers right now.
14:47And there's a chance he has a really good year.
14:49Like there really is. So I wanted to get some exposure to Marshawn Lloyd.
14:53I also could have gone Blake Corham there. I like him a lot, too.
14:57But, yeah, I think that he is my final running back here.
15:00Just taking five overall. And that's it. I'm done running back for the rest of the draft.
15:04And now I have, like I said, the receivers I was looking at are all here.
15:08Except for Cortland Sutton. He's the only one. But, you know, I had like three or four names I was looking at.
15:14And I figured, okay, yeah, they were going to come around.
15:17So I'm going to get a good third receiver here.
15:20And let's pull up these receivers. And you see Alec Pierce is here.
15:23Alec Pierce is back in practice. Now, there's a chance he might miss week one.
15:27But I have two guys ahead of him. I have DJ Moore and I have Parker Washington ahead of him.
15:32Like I'm comfortable there. Like I don't necessarily have to start in week one.
15:36But I think like come week three, week four, I think he's going to be full go.
15:40And he looks like, I mean, last year he had a great year.
15:44And now getting him around eight, that's such a discount over what we're getting him at before the injury.
15:49It was like round five. So I'm definitely happy to take Alec Pierce there.
15:52I don't know what you think about him. I feel like he has a lot of potential.
15:57I actually like him. I was talking about I did a private coaching call yesterday.
16:01I definitely do like some Alec Pierce there for sure.
16:03Because, again, I mean, not week one, two or three, but he's eventually going to come on.
16:08At this point, man, I don't like any of these receivers.
16:10And I'd have to do a heavy reach here.
16:13And I think I'm going to probably do that.
16:15Quick glance at running back here. Where, again, this is kind of where you got to start looking at, you know, and maybe next round Mike Washington.
16:22I saw him come off. I was doing a private coaching.
16:25I couldn't see the guy's screen. Our picks were great.
16:28And I think we got to like the 10th round.
16:30I'm like, okay, start pulling up Mike Washington. He's gone.
16:33I think he was gone the eighth round, right?
16:35Because of all the hype. And that's the guy I was telling people to draft way back when, in April.
16:41So I take a quick glance at tight end here.
16:43I still think I can wait on tight end.
16:45There's two tight ends I like. You get them in 60 rounds to know exactly who I want.
16:50We actually, in that $250 buying for the guy I was coaching yesterday, it was a 10-man league.
16:55The defense went in the fifth round. I know the Rams are good, but I think the Rams went off here too, didn't they?
17:01Did the Rams come off? Yeah, 8-07, yeah. Dude, I understand they're a good defense, but round five they came off in that league.
17:07So that's crazy. I'm going to do a heavy reach here possibly.
17:11I think I like Jordan Tyson, but four games, I don't draft anybody missing four games.
17:15Quinton Johnson could be the one. Concepcion could be the one.
17:18You know, there's a couple guys that could be the ones, but I really am going with my conviction here.
17:23I'm going to go Matthew Golden here simply because I believe he could be the one.
17:27And I'm actually going to get the other potential wide receiver one because I think Mike Evans gets hurt is John Striebling.
17:33Now, there's been a lot of hype around him.
17:35But if you look at the other receivers there, I know you're saying you like Romeo Dobbs.
17:40He's had years to wow us. We're not wow.
17:42Debo Samuel kind of sucks. Jacoby Myers, I don't believe in.
17:45Concepcion's kind of hit or miss. They got Boston there.
17:47Wondell Robinson, Tennessee, I still believe in Tate. Josh Downs has sucked for the years.
17:51Jayden Reed is, I think, is going to be the wide receiver three.
17:55Maybe wide receiver two. And again, I've got digs.
17:57There's none of these guys. Pittman sucks, right? None of these guys excite me.
18:01Godwin, I don't believe in. And so I look at a guy who's going to potentially be the one, and that's why I went Matthew Golden.
18:07And then I'm going to go to John Striebling here.
18:10Again, I don't think it's a reach because, again, I don't like the talent ahead of him.
18:14And then I'm securing my wide receivers because we only typically need to fill two wide receiver spots.
18:19I'm going to go to John Striebling here for upside for a potential wide receiver one spot.
18:24Crazy, huh? I think, look, I was going to make those picks.
18:27I was like, who am I going to take on the way back in 9-07?
18:31I want another receiver. You know, Al Pierce might be out week one.
18:34I was like, oh, I'll look at Golden or Striebling.
18:37Like, surely Joe won't take both of them. You took both?
18:40So I kind of have to, like, wonder who I'm drafting now.
18:43There are definitely a couple names. Like, there's still good receivers here.
18:46And this is why I like taking running backs earlier than receivers.
18:49Now, receivers will dry up eventually. But, you know, look at a couple names here.
18:53You know, Quinton Johnson, I know that we don't like him very much.
18:56But he's usually going, like, round six or seven.
18:59Like, he's available here round nine. I think that's good value.
19:01You mentioned Romeo Dobbs in New England. I think he could be, like, the Wes Walker, Julian Edelman type in the slot.
19:07Like, look at Josh McDaniels as a slot receiver over the years.
19:10He's had Wes Walker, Julian Edelman, Danny Mandola, and then even Demario Douglas, who has zero talent.
19:15Like, he was productive. Walker is going to be in that role.
19:18So I like him a lot. But I think you can get him a little bit later.
19:22You know, there's someone like Michael Pittman Jr. Who's going to catch a lot of passes in Pittsburgh.
19:27So I like him in PPR. Not so much standard, but in PPR.
19:30But I'm going to go with a guy that I think we talked about these Cleveland receivers.
19:35Where I like Denzel Boston in standard because he's going to catch more touchdowns.
19:39But this is PPR. So I'm going to go with Casey Concepcion here in the ninth round.
19:43I think he's going to catch a ton of passes and just be very, very good for PPR purposes.
19:48Yeah, man. Tons of upside there. It could easily be the one.
19:51He was drafted with high draft capital. They don't have anyone else outside of Boston.
19:55I don't think Judy's going to do anything. I think Fannin could be good.
19:59But other than that, it could be the Concepcion show.
20:01Yeah, absolutely. They even said they're going to try to get him the ball as much as possible.
20:06And so he may not score as many touchdowns as Boston.
20:09But he's going to rack up the catches. He's going to rack up the yardage.
20:13I think he's going to be really good in PPR.
20:15And now I'm looking in the tenth round. So you took Justin Herbert.
20:19I think he's a really good pick there. I was looking at, like I said, Drake May round six.
20:24Jalen Hurst round seven. All those guys are off the board.
20:27And so I'm thinking, okay, I could just wait on quarterbacks here.
20:30There are some good options. And normally in a draft like we do, quarterbacks just linger.
20:34And I got like Brock Purdy in round 15 in one of my mock drafts.
20:38Actually, I think two of my mock drafts. I got Bo Nix around 16.
20:41These guys last forever. For the sake of completing the roster here, I'm going to look at a quarterback.
20:46Because sometimes you don't know. Sometimes people in your league, they'll be aggressive.
20:50So they'll take all backup quarterbacks. Like everyone will have a backup quarterback.
20:53Someone will even draft three. They'll go crazy. So you want to make sure you get a quarterback.
20:58But it depends. It's a weird thing. Because if you're in a league with sharper people, then you can actually wait until round 14 to get a quarterback.
21:05But if you're in a league with dumb people who are going to take two or three quarterbacks all the time, then
21:11you have to take a quarterback here. I'm going to go with Brock Purdy.
21:15He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the NFL.
21:17San Francisco's offense is usually very explosive. And this would have been great if I had Striebling, if I could have paired him with Striebling.
21:24Fortunately, I can't. But that's another story. So I think there are a lot of good options there.
21:28I could have taken Jared Goff. He's always in the top seven.
21:32The past four years, he's been in the top seven.
21:34Baker Mayfield, I think he bounces back this year now that he's healthy.
21:38I think Jordan Love, because with Josh Jacobs suspended, he's going to have to throw a lot more.
21:42So any of those guys, I think, could have worked out.
21:45It just shows you that you can wait on a quarterback if you don't get one of those elite quarterbacks, like you got, or like Drake Knight.
21:52Yeah, if I were to wait, I like Bo Nix a little bit better.
21:56I just like, you know, not so much the team in regards to like, I think there's a lot of committees going
22:02on in that team in regards to running back and wide receiver and uncertainty.
22:05But that bodes well for Bo Nix, who can spread the ball around and all that stuff.
22:10So I do like Bo Nix quite a bit there.
22:12And for here, I just want to wrap this up here, because we're going to say, wait, we're going to do 10 rounds.
22:18And that's what we're going to do here today.
22:21But I really like, in this case, I do like, you know, Mike Washington here.
22:25It's a bit of a reach compared to the other guys.
22:27Chris Rodriguez don't care. Rashad White don't care. Aaron Jones don't care.
22:31Woody Marks don't care. Some of these guys can be efficient in certain games.
22:34But I definitely do like Mike Washington here. I know he won't come back.
22:38And then I'm just now putting a cherry on top of my running backs.
22:42And I, you know, I talked about in April him being a thorn in the side of Gentty.
22:46And I believe it will be a thorn in the side of Gentty.
22:50So that's who I like here. And again, so if you look at the team, so again, we're only going to do 10 rounds today.
22:56It's going to auto pick for us. We're going to ignore that.
22:59But take a look here. Core four starting to build wide receivers, all wide receiver one potential here, ace quarterback.
23:05And then we're starting to stack some depth here.
23:07And then I know if you guys want to get the tight end sleepers that I like, make sure you guys do grab 16 rounds.
23:13Where I lay out exactly which tight ends to get and when to grab a defense, which defense to get.
23:19And drafted from 6th and 12th position, how to build that roster.
23:22And at principal, everything is there. So make sure you guys don't draft unless you have 16 rounds in your hand.
23:27So, Walter, let's wrap it up here. What do you think of your team as well?
23:31Well, yeah, like I started a quad running back.
23:34And a lot of people will look at that and be like, where are your receivers?
23:38Where's your quarterback? Where's your tight end? Like, that's the scarcity.
23:41You have to keep that in mind. The running backs are the scarcest position by far.
23:45It's not even close to anything else. So make sure you get your running backs early and often.
23:50So, like I took five in the first seven.
23:52My goal is usually four in the first six, five in the first eight.
23:56And then I'm done at running back. So that's exactly what I did here.
23:59Five in the first seven, actually. And then I loaded up a receiver.
24:03DJ Moore, Barker, Washington, Pierce, Concepcion. And then I took Purdy.
24:06You know, I don't have a tight end yet.
24:08I don't really care. I can take a tight end late.
24:11There's so many good tight ends that are not being drafted.
24:14It's crazy. So you can wait until round 14, 13, 14, 15 to take a tight end.
24:18I actually really like Dallas Goddard because I think he's going to be basically the Eagles receiver, too, this year.
24:23So I can take him round 11. That's who my next pick would be.
24:27And then I take some more receivers, some more sleeper receivers, you know, like a Jacoby Lane, like a Malachi Fields.
24:33You know, we have a Zachariah Branch, you know, in Atlanta, like Caleb Douglas.
24:36Like these sleeper receivers are going to take late to kind of challenge the receivers that I have ahead of them.
24:42And then kicker defense at the end in some order.
24:44That's how my draft would approach. So I'm pretty happy with this team.
24:48So what about you? How do you feel about your team?
24:51I feel pretty good. And what I liked about your team, just to add to that, was when you went, Cam Scadabo was four.
24:57I think he's a major risk. And I think Najee's going to be annoying there.
25:01By the way, I wouldn't go Jacoby. This is just auto picking.
25:04But yeah, Cam Scadabo, you know, he's risky. But again, you've got your three workhorse before.
25:08Brees Hall could be safe. It's a good team.
25:10Washington, I'm not, you know, crazy on. But overall, good team.
25:13Tons of upside. My team, again, I feel pretty good.
25:16I got the core four here. I love Jeremiah.
25:18I love upside. All amazing talent. We're talking first round pick, first round pick, you know, first round pick.
25:23They're all, you know, Brian Thomas, first round pick.
25:26Matthew Golden, first round pick. All these guys are high draft capital picks on their team in line for a ton of work.
25:32They're all young. They're all due for contracts. They're all, you know, everybody.
25:35There isn't like any old washed up players here that I, you know, I got to worry about.
25:40You know, it's a balance of proven guys like Jeremiah Love and Gibbs.
25:43And then you've got the uncertain, sorry, of Gibbs and Williams, the proven guys.
25:47Then you got the upside guys. So it's a nice balance of like breakup potential.
25:51And that's what you got to do with fantasies.
25:53You got to take a risk. You can't just go safe guy, safe guy, safe guy.
25:57T Higgins round three. I just feel that that's going to win your league when a guy like T Higgins, you know, peaks at 110 targets.
26:04We want guys that'll absolutely boom, right? Like we saw Luther Byrne take off at the end of last year.
26:09You want that type of ceiling, that type of upside.
26:12So I think our teams are both built with a ton of upside and security in check.
26:16Yeah, they're absolutely right. I mean, if you draft those safe guys with no upside, you're going to finish sixth in your league or seventh in your league.
26:24You might make the playoffs or you might be the best team to not make the playoffs.
26:28Like, is that really what you want? Like, I'm guessing though, because you're watching the show.
26:32So, you know, like there are some people are like, I just don't want to finish last.
26:37I don't want to embarrass myself. I don't want to want.
26:39I don't really know much about fantasy. I just don't want to be laughing stock in my league.
26:44Those are the guys who should take Higgins, you know, like the guys who just are fine finishing seventh.
26:49But if you're watching this, you know, I'm willing to bet that you want to win your league.
26:54And I think that our advice all summer and including in the Smock draft is going to help you win your league.

27:32So yeah, I won last year with Drake May and Hunter Henry Stack and H&P plus Pickens.
27:37In the seventh round. So I can't wait for that.
