Justin Herbert

PositiveProjection2:15

Herbert and the Chargers face Buffalo in Week 3; the source suggests looking for a bounce back from Herbert if the Chargers continue to play poorly.

0:00This is a complete Starts and Sits guide for Fantasy Football Week 3.
0:04I'm literally going to walk through every single position here as you can see and give you all the optimal starts at
0:10each position and everybody's got a tough matchup. I'm going to walk you guys through, hold your hands and you guys, I've
0:16got timestamps here so you can go to each position and take a look.
0:20So if you're debating on like who to start at quarterback and you're like, I got Josh Allen, but I also got
0:26Tyler Schuff, I don't know what to do. Well, who's got a better matchup?
0:30You guys can compare. Obviously you're going to start Josh Allen because he's been red hot, but you guys get the point.
0:36All right. So if you do the channel, guys smash it, tap it.
0:40We're going to walk through all of this here for you.
0:43Just hit the thumbs up. Takes a second of your time.
0:46Really helps the channel. Again, you don't got to go anywhere else.
0:49It's a complete guide for Fantasy Football Week 3.
0:52Starts and Sits. I'm going to get you guys fully covered.
0:55All right, let's dive right into it here starting with the quarterback position.
0:59Again, hit that thumbs up. And again, if you have direct access to me, join the all access war room.
1:04I've linked that below. All right, so let's start with the quarterback position here.
1:08And again, if it's green and 32, there's 32 teams and it's green, that means in theory based on the algorithm here
1:14of the first couple weeks, Geno Smith has the easiest matchup versus Detroit.
1:18They just put up a lot of points against him.
1:21Drew Locke versus Washington. I personally would not start Drew Locke.
1:24This is why I tell you, I know a lot of people are like, yeah, you know, I'm hurting at quarterback and stuff.
1:30You want to anchor your team with an ace quarterback.
1:33You know, I see people draft Drake May. We saw what he did week one.
1:37We saw some people, you know, Jackson Dart. I mean, they're pretty good quarterbacks, but they're just not proven, right?
1:43You got to get your Josh Allen, your Jalen Hurts, guys that have been consistent year in, year out.
1:48You don't mess around with the quarterback position. You anchor a team with an ace quarterback.
1:53But regardless, if you have to stream or pick somebody up, take a look at matchups, take a look at all this
1:59stuff, all this data, and then you guys can extrapolate and figure out who you're starting.
2:03Okay. These are the easy matchups. Sam Darnold has an injury designation.
2:07I wouldn't be starting Darnold anyway, for me personally.
2:09CJ Strout, good matchup versus Indy. Daniel Jones versus Houston, not a bad matchup.
2:13Again, this is the algorithm based on how it's been so far.
2:17Lamar Jackson versus Dallas. Justin Herbert versus Buffalo. I'm looking for a bounce back out of Justin Herbert.
2:22A lot of the problems there just stem from just the offensive line, people dropping balls.
2:26It's not all Herbert's fault, the fact of his lack of performance and his 10 points last week, but we need him to step up for sure.
2:34Pat Mahomes, I mean, had a good week last week.
2:3732 points, good matchup versus Miami. Cam Ward had himself actually a decent 20-point game going against against the Giants in a decent matchup this week.
2:44Bryce Young has been hot. Okay. Now, if you guys stream Bryce Young, he does have a good matchup versus Cleveland here.
2:50Caleb Williams, obviously, injury designation. He's got some issues beyond that stem beyond what happened last week, but regardless, there's a lot
2:56of memes going on about Williams, and I understand why.
2:59The guy screamed with absolute agony like it was the end of his career, and it just turns out to be a hamstring.
3:05Like, that's all I got to say, man. The guy is weak.
3:09All right. So, next one, Josh Allen. And again, when you get in the yellow, these are kind of your mid-range matchups.
3:15Panic should be getting a start versus Green Bay.
3:18If you're desperate, I don't trust him at all.
3:20Kyler Murray should probably be making a return as well.
3:23All of these are mid-range matchup. Obviously, Josh Allen, Dak Prescott, all mid-range matchups.
3:27Now, if we go to the toughest matchups on paper versus position, you got Burrow, Mariota.
3:31I know a lot of people picked up Mariota.
3:34They're desperate at quarterback or want to superflex him.
3:36He does have a harder matchup slightly this week versus Seattle.
3:39Malik Willis versus KC. Trevor Lawrence versus New England.
3:42Jacoby versus San Fran. Bo Nix versus the Rams.
3:44Rams came alive last week. And in the counselor's edge, guys, I predicted the Rams would win that and cover that.
3:50If you have not joined the counselor's edge, you guys got to get in there because I'm really giving you guys winners every single week.
3:57And, you know, an example was this game. I mean, this is right from inside the counselor's edge.
4:02I'm going to put a screenshot here. I called it.
4:05Okay. This is right from the counselor's edge. You guys get in, get access, get my picks every single week.
4:11My picks versus a prop. My locks versus like the player props.
4:14And against the spread and straight up. So if you guys want to win, you know, get the counselor's edge.
4:20Okay. Other tough matchups here. Tyler Schuff. He's been red hot, but I would still start him if you got him.
4:26Jared Goff. I mean, there's a lot of guys like Goff, Schuff, you know, Lawrence.
4:30I mean, if those are your starters, you got to start them.
4:33But understand they have a slightly tougher matchup versus position.
4:36Okay. Dak Prescott also mid-range matchup. Moving on to the running back.
4:39Let's move on to the running back position here and take a look at that.
4:44Okay. Now I'm going to filter here by guys that have it in tough.
4:48Jadarian Price. Now I'm considering probably benching him this week.
4:50I'm very disappointed with what's going on with their first round pick.
4:54You know, honestly, like they disgust me a little bit.
4:57The Seahawks and so do the Cardinals. They're just not utilizing their first round picks.
5:01I've never seen this before. I mean, we've had throughout the years, I've been playing fantasy for over 12 to 15 years.
5:07I can't remember how long it's been. When a first round pick, I remember Zeke Elliott was drafted in round one.
5:13They utilized their first round pick. Like the fact that Emmanuel Wilson was getting touches at all last week was ludicrous.
5:19Like I understand Price was banged up, but I would not be using Emmanuel Wilson.
5:23Even the announcers like Jadarian Price went for a 25-yard run.
5:26Why are you bringing in Emmanuel Wilson near the goal line?
5:29Like they got to stop doing that crap, right?
5:32They're messing with your props. That's all it is.
5:34And that's why the Counselor's Edge, I mitigate the risk.
5:37Going to give you guys some winners, right? So we can cash in.
5:41All right, so Jonathan Taylor, you know, obviously you're going to start him, but he is playing Houston.
5:46Their rush defense is very good. Jameer Gibbs, tough matchup versus the Jets, but obviously you're going to start him.
5:51Bucky Irving, been pretty safe the past couple weeks.
5:5413 points last week, 21 the week before. Bucky's still a start, but on paper a little bit tougher here.
5:59Marshawn Lloyd and, you know, the Packers have just been a bit of a disaster.
6:04Caleb Johnson kind of coming on a little bit late last game.
6:07But I don't trust the Packers running backs. They got a little bit tough, okay?
6:11Jalen Warren, again, you know, you see him not performing.
6:14They're not true workhorse running backs. I don't trust these running backs.
6:17They got it in tough regardless. Apparently Dobbins and Harvey were practicing.
6:21So all those people that picked up Coleman understand he's got the eighth hardest matchup versus the Rams, right?
6:26You may want to start him, but I mean, Harvey and Dobbins are just going to be back.
6:31Like, I understand the appeal to get Coleman. You know, he kind of came on a bit, but it's only due to injury.
6:38He's still the RB3 in the pecking order there, so I wasn't too excited, okay?
6:42Christian McCaffrey and Kalon Black. Now, McCaffrey finally came alive.
6:45He had a bunch of touchdowns last week. Obviously, you got to start him if you have him.
6:50Kalon Black actually has more rushing attempts than Christian McCaffrey on the season.
6:53So they are definitely splitting a workload. Christian McCaffrey getting the goal line work as of for now, but look for him
6:59to actually continue to get a reduced workload and Kalon Black to start emerging as we move through the season, okay?
7:05Toon had a good game last week. It was an easy matchup, but he's got, you know, 10th hardest matchup versus position here.
7:12And as you can see, these are the mid-range matchups.
7:15James Cook, obviously a start. Travis Etienne. I don't know why they're calling him Achane.
7:19It's Etienne. Like, learn how to spell. I don't care what he says.
7:22It's Etienne. Like, I hate when people mispronounce names, but regardless, mid-range matchup.
7:26Steven sucks. I mean, Henderson kind of came alive last week, but still a bit of a committee there.
7:31Mid-range matchups. I'm still starting Javante Williams. Swift, obviously, got to start him.
7:35He's been pretty solid the past couple weeks. Devin Achane.
7:38Achane. C-H-A-N-E. Devin Achane. What a bust. And I talked about Achane not doing that good in that offense, and sure enough, he's been absolutely busting, okay?
7:45Judkins. Great matchup versus Carolina. We got Kenneth Walker.
7:48Obviously, a must start now. Again, if you want to start Judkins, he does have a good matchup.
7:53He's got to start stepping it up here for sure.
7:56David Montgomery coming off a hot week and then a down week.
7:59He's playing Indy. Good matchup. I would start him.
8:02Omarian Hampton coming alive last week. 19 points. I'm looking for him to have another good matchup versus Buffalo.
8:07He's got a good matchup this week. Start him up.
8:10Gentis start. We're not getting much of Mike Washington, even though we saw the preseason breakout.
8:14Gentis still getting the workload, but coming down significantly from week one from 36 points to 10 points, but you still got to start him here.
8:22Chase Brown had an average week last week. 11 points.
8:24Got to start him. Saquon Barkley, very strange. Had like an injury in the nerves of his neck or something.
8:30Got out. Came back in. I don't know what that was all about.
8:34That was just garbage. Like that's, I don't have any Barkley stock and I think we've seen the best that Barkley can do.
8:40That's why I avoid him, but that's just, that's just BS.
8:43Honestly, uh, by Jan had a down week, 11 points.
8:46You got to start on Breece Hall. You got to start him.
8:49I was seeing way too much Braylon Allen for my liking as well.
8:53I didn't like that as well, but hopefully we don't see much of him.
8:57If you guys are Breece Hall owner, Cam Scadaboo to average weeks, but you know, you got to start him as well.
9:03And Jeremiah Love eight points last week. They got to start utilizing their first round pick if they want to win.
9:09Okay. That's just the bottom line. Now those are your running backs.
9:12Go back. Look, who's got an easy matchup. Make a decision.
9:16Say you got Judkins. He's got a good matchup.
9:18And then you've got, I don't know, someone else like Bucky Irving.
9:21You got both these running backs. You're deciding on a flex play or RB two.
9:26You may want to leave Judkins just based on how good the matchup is, right?
9:30Or maybe you just like Bucky, but at least, you know, how tough the matchup is.
9:34Like Jameer Gibbs has a third hardest matchup for his position.
9:37Am I sitting, am I sitting Jameer Gibbs? Absolutely not.
9:40Absolutely not. Okay. So that, that's all. That's it for running back.
9:44Let's move on to the wide receiver position here.
9:46Starting off with the great matchups. Let's rip through it.
9:49Nico Collins obviously banged up. Check the injury designation here, but all the Texans receivers have a good matchup.
9:54We just don't know who the one is there.
9:57You know, it's kind of been up and down and all around Keenan Allen.
10:01I mean, and the tech, uh, uh, the Colts wide receivers, right?
10:04I mean, I just don't trust. I don't trust Keenan Allen.
10:07They brought in Slayton as well. It's a disaster.
10:10Alec Pierce, I believe he's going on IR. What a disaster.
10:13So Tyler Warren, fire him up when we talk about tight ends there with the Colts.
10:17Ted McMillan, 18 point game. Coker. Coker's actually been pretty solid.
10:2037 and 15 points. Obviously down from that inflated game back in, you know, week one.
10:25But obviously they've been pretty reliable. So has their quarterback.
10:28So both these guys definitely worth the consideration to start in a good matchup versus Cleveland.
10:32Lad McConkie, obviously he's been banged up a little bit here and there, but if he's, he's good to go, which I
10:38think he is obviously worth a start. Trey Harris has done absolutely nothing.
10:42Quentin Johnson, absolutely nothing dropping balls. And, you know, I, I've talked about this and I drafted a lot of Gaddiston with
10:48the Joyku being down and their tight ends being banged up.
10:51I do like guys that tight end. We'll talk about that in a second.
10:55And McConkie definitely worth a start here. Mike Evans, check the injury designation.
10:59But again, wide receiver by committee here with the 49ers.
11:02I don't know who to trust there as well, but they've got a good matchup.
11:06Whoever you're starting from there, they do have a good matchup versus Arizona.
11:09Garrett Wilson, obviously a start. Adonai Mitchell kind of stepping up here.
11:13Got a good matchup here versus this Troy. Khalil Shakir.
11:16Now, again, DJ Moore banged up. I believe it was the shoulder or whatever.
11:20Keon Coleman also banged up. I don't know what he's dealing with.
11:23I think it's like an ankle or something. When you're looking at these receivers, I mean, if these two are out, Moore
11:29and Coleman, look for Shakir to have an, you know, increased game volume.
11:33You know, Palmer last week. I think he got a touchdown or something like that.
11:37Look for them to get more volume. But again, play it by ear, okay?
11:41Malik Neighbors, he's kind of banged up. He kind of dislocated his shoulder.
11:45He is always banged up, it seems. Malachi Fields could step up this week as a flex play.
11:50Good matchup versus Tennessee. Keep that on your radar.
11:52Carnell Tate is due for a breakout game. I don't know what's going on with Carnell Tate.
11:57I don't get it at all. First round pick, not getting fed.
12:00They keep feeding Io Minora. It makes no sense to me.
12:03Like, some of these guys should not be touching the ball.
12:06And, you know, I think Tate has a good matchup versus Giants.
12:10Obviously, Jackson Smith, you got to start him there.
12:12I see him. This is kind of out of order here.
12:15I don't know if for some reason it's kind of mixed it up here.
12:19Emika, last week got the touchdown. I don't know what was going on here with Baker Meafield.
12:24Just not utilizing his wide receivers. It made zero sense to me.
12:27But Emika, got to have a good week versus Minnesota.
12:30Good matchup. Again, Drake London. You know, I don't know about Penix, but he's got a good matchup here as we get here to these mid-range matchups.
12:38Drake London's got to eat. And then you've got these mid-range matchups.
12:41Trey Tucker coming off that hot week. Do you start him again this week?
12:45I got to take a look at Brock Bowers.
12:48If Brock Bowers comes back, look for a dip in Trey Tucker's volume.
12:51And look for a dip just based on that number.
12:54But I think I talked about, you know, Trey Tucker going into the season.
12:58I said he's a wide receiver one. Why wouldn't you draft Trey Tucker?
13:02And I kept talking about this. He was like wide receiver 65.
13:05And if you put him on the overall, he's outside the top 100 or whatever he was.
13:10Way outside the top 100. So I was like, why wouldn't you just stash Trey Tucker?
13:14He's the wide receiver one. No brainer. Kirk Cousins is a veteran quarterback.
13:18He's going to feed him. And they got Mendoza if Cousins is out.
13:22You know, they've got a good quarterback. They're going to feed him.
13:25And sure enough, last week, 26 points. I think he's going to be a good flex play yet again.
13:30Trey Tucker, okay? Keep him on your radar. And then you've got this slew of like, just like committee here.
13:36Is it Waddle? Is it Sutton? This is why I talked about the Broncos as being a terrible team when it comes
13:42to fantasy, when it comes to wide receiver running back.
13:45Because you don't know, you know, who's going to be getting the ball.
13:49It's just a wide receiver and running back by committee situation.
13:52Disaster. Absolute disaster. I liked it for Bo Nix.
13:54I just did not like it for the receivers.
13:57I've got zero stock in these guys, okay? Now, taking a look at some of the tougher matchups, Diggs has been hot.
14:03I don't know how long he's going to sustain that.
14:06I don't think he will. But, you know, Terry McClone has really taken a backseat.
14:10He's done nothing. That's why I avoid him. Antonio Williams was good week one, average week two.
14:15So, again, wide receiver by committee. We see this, you know, leaking over to other teams.
14:19It's pretty gross. Jamar Chase coming alive. Tee Higgins had a good week last week.
14:23Pretty average. Tough matchup. You've got to start him if you've got him.
14:27Again, I told you, don't draft Tee Higgins. George Pickens is another guy that was drafted in the second round.
14:33What a waste. He's done nothing. Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas, injury designation.
14:36I, again, more crapshoot here. Uncertainty. And this is what they're doing with us, guys.
14:40They don't want us to win at fantasy. They want to mess with the props and create uncertainty.
14:45And that's what happens. Again, look at this. Puka was out.
14:48Adams goals were 43 points. Did nothing the week before.
14:51All of a sudden, he goes to 43. Puka comes back.
14:54Adams is going to take a backseat. Like, this is what I mean.
14:58There's no consistency at wide receivers. So, you really have to be careful.
15:02You know, Olave's been consistent. You've got to start him, even though he's got a tough matchup.
15:06Vili's been pretty solid. Again, no Jordan Tyson, right?
15:09The rookie they drafted in round one. Vili gets an opportunity.
15:12Rashi Rice, again, inconsistency here. Target dilution here. KC, right?
15:15Imagine if they didn't have Worthy, Rice would have been getting 40, 30, you know, 25, 30 points.
15:20Right? But Worthy was there. He stole 14 points.
15:22So, it's split. No one's really thriving. Okay? And then you've got, you know, the Steelers.
15:27More dilution yet again. Pittman's doing nothing. All tough matchups staying away.
15:30Even Jefferson, good week, then bad week. Up and then down, right?
15:34Like, not much consistency there. Amonra, there's some consistency.
15:36If there's consistency, pounce on that. Start him. Take advantage of that.
15:39Maybe look to trade for these guys. This team, another team that's like a disaster.
15:44I mean, I thought Harrison was going to be doing something this year.
15:47I mean, it's a make or break year for Marvin Harrison.
15:50He's done absolutely nothing. Like, he continues to prove that he absolutely sucks.
15:54Terrible. Tough matchup. I would sit him until he proves otherwise.
15:57And then you've got the Jacksonville receivers. It looks like Parker Washington has taken that wide receiver one role as far as two weeks go.
16:04Brian Thomas has done absolutely nothing. And then Denzel Boston has, looks like he has solidified the wide receiver one role.
16:10Definitely start Boston there for when you're looking at Cleveland.
16:13And then I really do like Matthew Golden. Again, we've seen, you know, Watson kind of be the one the first two weeks.
16:19But, you know, when you look at targets, it was Matthew Golden leading in targets week one.
16:24Watson leading in week two. It's kind of a battle, you know, back and forth.
16:28But I think Golden definitely emerges when Christian Watson does go down.
16:32And I believe he will. Pickens done absolutely nothing.
16:34We saw that, you know, CLM is the alpha dog.
16:37That's proven what a waste of a second round pick for you guys.
16:41I told you to avoid them. And again, you've got Rashad Bateman who came alive.
16:45Is that going to stay? I would start him if you're desperate for a wide receiver.
16:49And Smith, I was wrong on him. He's emerged here, mid-range matchup, okay?
16:53That's wide receiver. Go back, take a look. Take a look at who's good, who's not.
16:57Who's got a good matchup, who doesn't. And that's your wide receiver.
17:01We're going to do tight end and defenses right now.
17:04Tight end, start a consistent guy, obviously. Trey McBride, tough matchup.
17:07You got to start him. He's the best tight end in the NFL right now.
17:11Loveland is due for a breakout game. He's done absolutely nothing but tough matchup.
17:15Laporta has been consistent. Tough matchup. You still start him.
17:18Brenton Strange is safe and boring. Tough matchup. If you got him, you got to start him.
17:22Evan Ingram, average. Gusecki, this is very disappointing. Now, I picked him up off waiver wire after week one, but I did not start him.
17:29And look at that week two, zero. That's concerning, right?
17:32You got a guy who was heavily targeted in week one as a tight end and did absolutely nothing week two.
17:38I don't like that. And again, just messing with you, right?
17:41Isaiah Likely, he's, you know, I think he's a safe play for the Giants.
17:45But again, tough matchup. Brock Bowers, check the injury designation.
17:48If he comes back, obviously, you start him. You spend a second round, pick on him.
17:52And then you've got this slew of like tight ends here from the Rams who are doing absolutely nothing.
17:58It's crazy. Just absolutely nuts. They drafted Max Clear with early draft capital when you got Ferguson and Higby, all these other guys.
18:04What a mess. Goddard, obviously, injured designation. If he plays, you start him.
18:08And then Juwan Johnson, take a look at him.
18:10He's been pretty solid. If you can get him, his targets are really, really high.
18:15You know, that's what you want out of a tight end.
18:18Otten's a safe start. Again, these are all tougher matchup.
18:20You know, Fanon, you got other guys here. Tight end, just start the guys that you feel safe with.
18:26Sadiq has been untrustworthy so far. They're just not utilizing him, but he is due for a breakout.
18:31Good matchup this week if you're considering him versus Detroit.
18:34Tucker Craft has done absolutely nothing. You've got Hawkinson, you know, safe start at best.
18:38Mark Andrews is safe as well. I would start him in a good matchup.
18:42These are all the good matchups here. Fryer-Muth, safe matchup.
18:45Those receivers are getting nothing done. And Kincaid, definitely a must start.
18:48He has proved, especially this week, if Coleman's out and you got DJ Moore, you definitely want to start Kincaid.
18:54Trade for Kincaid. Get Kincaid going. This week. And then I do really like Gadistin this week.
18:58The Joyku's out. I think one of the other tight ends is out.
19:02I mean, I would definitely take a look at Gadistin this week.
19:05I think he's definitely going to get some work done.
19:08Gunner Helm, safe and boring as well. And then Kittle, pretty safe as well.
19:12Hunter Henry, safe. So that's it for tight end.
19:15Now, the defense is to start or consider streaming.
19:17Let's go through it here. We got Packers versus Atlanta.
19:20I think they're going to be a great start this week.
19:23We don't know what Pennix is going to do here.
19:26You got the Bengals. You got the Vikings. You got the Chiefs versus Miami.
19:30Jacksonville versus New England. Buffalo versus the Chargers. If the Chargers continue to play bad, Buffalo could be a great start.
19:36But you look for a bounce back out of Herbert.
19:38Colts versus Houston. Eagles versus Chicago. We don't know what's going on with the backup there.
19:43Eagles could be a great start. Rams versus Denver.
19:45Steelers versus Cincy. And Panthers versus Cleveland. These are all based on the first two weeks algorithm based on good matchups.
19:51So if you're looking at stream, here are some options.
19:54Take a screenshot. Pause it. Take a look, okay?
19:57All decent matchups versus position, all right? That's all I have for you guys.
20:01I mean, I want to make sure you guys start the right people.
20:04Two weeks give us a good guideline. But I still think the teams are still trying to figure out their identities.
20:10Who's who? What's going on? What's happening? Who's going to start?
20:13Who's going to do this? Who's the alpha? Who's not?
20:16Is this rookie going to emerge? There's too many question marks.
20:19And I think that goes to your fantasy team as well.
20:22It's about figuring out who's getting the highest target and volume count and start them.
20:26Don't get too emotional on the draft. Go for like who has been consistent on the target and volume count and look to start them, okay?
20:34Because now the quarterback's starting to gravitate to certain players.
20:37If you're looking at wide receiver and tight end, start utilizing that example.
20:40Like I said, Dalton Kincaid, high volume guy, right?
20:43Juwan Johnson, high volume tight end. Look for, is there an injury?
20:46Gaddiston. There's a void there. Maybe they're going to start utilizing Gaddis a bit more, right?
20:51So it's about looking at like who's doing what, what's happening.
20:54Denzel Boston had a bit of a breakout. Maybe consider him, right?
20:57So take a look at the trends. I'm going to keep you guys up to date.
