0:13who didn't, who was the suck of the week.
0:15We got a full recap here and the optimal ads.
0:18So I'm ready to dive in and we're gonna talk some injuries here.
0:22So if you're new to the show, make sure you guys do hit smash it, tap it, hype it, swipe it.
0:28Hit that thumbs up, takes a second of your time guys, hit the thumbs up.
0:32I am super excited to dive into this and man oh man, what a wild first week.
0:37Wild, wild. My team, just to give you guys some content, I'm in four leagues, it's just way too much to manage any more than that.
0:44Three out of four wins and I would have won the fourth one but I sat Matthew Gold and I kept telling you Matthew Gold.
0:51And another observation guys from this week is that man, those running backs, wow.
0:5516 rounders were DMing me, I posted on my story mode, everyone's going crazy.
0:59The running back position, amazing. Javante Williams crushes it, Derrick Henry and so many more.
1:04Just having Javante, like just amazing. Just having an amazing week, okay?
1:07So if you're new to the channel, hit the thumbs up.
1:10Let's talk about some latest news with Breaking Brad here.
1:13And again, we're gonna go through each position and give you guys the must-ads in each position.
1:18What a wild, wild week one. Super exciting. We now have breaking news.
1:22We now have breaking news. We now have breaking news.
1:25We now have breaking news. Here we go. Pull up the banner here.
1:28All right, couple of things I want to talk about before we go into each, and we're gonna go through each position.
1:35We're gonna take a look at who did well in each position, who to add.
1:39We're gonna go through that. But we got to talk about a little bit of some news here.
1:44I don't spend too much time on it. But Kyler Murray here, first of all, I told you this guy sucks.
1:50The guy should not be in the NFL. First play throws a wild interception and then gets hurt.
1:55I think it's got all he does is scramble, put himself in uncompromising positions, and then get hurt.
2:00Like this guy just sucks. Now what's happening is that they're gonna go through his concussion protocol and they think that he'll
2:07have time to play maybe in week two. So Kyler Murray shouldn't even be in the NFL.
2:12Sure enough, he is. And he got hurt. So I just, I don't believe in Kyler.
2:16I think he sucks. But here we are, right?
2:19Zay Flowers, he had a hamstring concern. Apparently it's not gonna be serious after the week one win against the Colts.
2:25So Flowers have an MRI to confirm the exact severity of the injury.
2:28But apparently it's considered day to day. So Zay Flowers owners, don't worry.
2:32I don't think it's going to be long. Now Jacoby Lane, a sleeper that, you know, Walter Football really liked.
2:38I was recommending near the end of the season, suffered a high fracture wrist.
2:42Will undergo further testing. Jacoby Lane, we don't know the full extent of the injury at the time of this recording.
2:48Sam Darnold, apparently glutes could miss four to six weeks.
2:51Oh man. I mean, I talked about a regression here with JCN.
2:54I said, what goes up must come down. Super Bowl hangover.
2:57Something happens to these teams, these players where a player will regress.
3:01JCN could be in trouble with Sam Darnold right now, missing four to six weeks.
3:05That was the guy that made him have his pinnacle week, right?
3:08So Drew Locke will start next week against the Cardinals.
3:11He's the quarterback, two on the team. So Sam Darnold going to be out.
3:15I talked about this with JSN. Omar Cooper, rookie, not that interesting.
3:19I don't think a lot of people have him suffered a high ankle sprain week one against the Titans.
3:24He'll go under MRI, probably missed multiple weeks. A big one here I want to talk about is Lad McConkie got hit really, really hard.
3:31He collided with an Arizona Cardinal defender over the middle of target.
3:35He tried to get a target and up the middle in the third quarter, and he stayed down.
3:40And he was limping to the medical tent. A few minutes later, he was helping to the Chargers locker, locker room.
3:46And yeah, we don't know exactly what's going on.
3:48And it's, yeah, it could, it doesn't know if he's going to miss extended time.
3:53That's what I'm reading right now. But I would assume again, based on how serious that looked like a hip, it looked like his hip was hurt.
4:00I would assume he will be out. I think he's going to miss multiple weeks.
4:05Fire up Trey Harris, a sleeper that we got in 16 rounds and look for other guys like Gattis did and other
4:11guys step up, but he was really doing well.
4:14So I got to give him credit, man. He was catching all five passes, 82 yards and a touchdown in his first regular season game.
4:21I, and again, I love Lad McConkie. I've got one share of him in one of my four leagues.
4:26Very unfortunate. Hopefully things get better for him. All right.
4:29And that's pretty much it. There was other like annoying things, nagging stuff, people coming on off yet.
4:34I don't think there's anything that was catastrophic for, for your fantasy players, which is good.
4:39So we had a lot of good production. So let's dive right into that.
4:43Thank you. Breaking Brad. We appreciate your help. Breaking news.
4:46All right, let's get to, let's get right to it guys.
4:49So let's go with the, who should we be adding this week?
4:52Let's start off with the quarterback position here. Now understand guys, um, every league varies.
4:56Okay. Every league does vary. So if you want direct access to me, I can help Taylor and answer your questions.
5:02I'm answering questions right now. I do waiver wire sources, join the all access world, patreon.com.
5:07And that will get to your questions, but I'm going to give you guys as much as I can here, uh, for everybody here.
5:14So hit the thumbs up, support the channel. The thumbs up really, really helps.
5:18Okay. Let's dive into it. Um, Caleb Williams, having himself a phenomenal week.
5:22I mean, look at this 37.3, Josh Allen. I started him in one of my leagues, Bryce young.
5:27If he's available in your leagues in a two quarterback league, he may be a consideration here, guys.
5:32Bryce young, having himself the game of his life.
5:35Amazing stuff. Good for him. Uh, Trevor Lawrence, a lot of people were doubting him ever being that good.
5:40He actually ended up having a great week. Lamar Jackson, jailer hurts and Tyler chef.
5:44A guy told everybody to draft as a backup.
5:47Now in one of my leagues, I ended up.
5:49Benching Tyler chef. Cause I started jail and hurts.
5:52I wasn't going to start Tyler chef over jail and hurts.
5:55I just wasn't going to do it. And sure enough, as you could see here, uh, we've got a better week.
6:01Uh, actually they're on par actually they're on par, but in my particular league, the way that it was scored, I don't
6:07know exactly how the scoring format was when it, when it altered it, I shove had a slight edge.
6:13Maybe it was the passing yards get more, more passing yards or something like that.
6:17So that's where, you know, he had four 10 and it favors a little bit of passing guards.
6:22So he compared to two Oh three with hurts both three times.
6:26Oh, it was the, Oh, I, so you know what it was to the interceptions that kind of hurt.
6:31Imagine if he didn't have those interceptions, right? Some interceptions, you know, some leagues really penalize those interceptions.
6:36So it all depends, but Tyler chef and Miley get up scoring more, but I'm happy with my start jail hurts.
6:42Uh, Brock Purdy here, 21 points. Jordan love Carson went stepping in for Minnesota, 19 points stepping right in there.
6:48So if you guys are a Jefferson owner, you should feel a little comfortable that you got a decent backup there throwing the ball.
6:55Now guys that crap the bed at quarterback, right?
6:57Baker may feel only 11.6 points, really just unacceptable.
7:00Now, not a lot of people started some of these guys.
7:03This is what I tell you all the time.
7:06Now Herbert also 13 points. Yeah, it wasn't, it could have been done bet.
7:10Could have done better burrow 14, but I always say anchor your team with an ace quarterback.
7:15Allen really giving his ROI. Just amazing. It's a tough defense Texans on paper.
7:19That was phenomenal. So when you look at who you're picking up off waiver wire, it depends on your needs.
7:24If you're in a super flex league, if you're a two quarterback league, did you have Kyler Murray as your second quarterback?
7:31What are your needs again? I get to that in the Patreon group, but you guys got to answer that question and
7:37let me, you know, let you, let me know in the comments.
7:40What are you guys doing? But there is some good options here.
7:44Obviously Bryce young. He's probably available. Tyler Schauff might be available in a lot of leagues, you know, guys like that.
7:50Carson West. If you need to cover yourself for a week or two might be good.
7:54Right. Again, it depends. Malik Willis, Miami, 16 points.
7:57If you're really desperate again, it depends on your league, but you should be okay at quarterback.
8:02There wasn't anything catastrophic outside of Kyler Murray. All right.
8:05Let's move on to the running back. This is super exciting to talk about.
8:09I am super excited again. Before I get into these guys, make sure you guys do join Underdog.
8:14That's the place I play on go enhance your game watching experience Underdog right now use code line.
8:19I've linked it below and we've got the Monday night or tonight.
8:22All right. Get in on the action guys Underdog.
8:25I love it. Get in right now and you get up to $1,000 cash bonus.
8:29That is huge. Go take advantage of that on Underdog right now.
8:33The link below a use code line when you sign up.
8:36All right. All right. Let's dive into these running backs.
8:39And again, I am super excited. Like I'm super excited to shift over to these running backs.
8:44And I'm telling you, man, like Derek Henry tearing it up.
8:47Jameer gives kind of what we'd expect out of him.
8:50Ashton Gentry. Now, some people are ripping on me saying like, oh, Ashton Gentry crushed you.
8:54You told me don't draft Ashton Gentry. All I said is that Mike Washington might be a factor.
8:59It is only one week. So everything that we're talking about right here, guys, is only one week.
9:04So some things are going to go up. Some things are going to go down.
9:09I'll tell you who to pick up here off waiver wire for running back.
9:13What I'm saying is that Gentry did well. Good for him.
9:16I mean, look at this. 102 rushing rushing yards, 23 attempts.
9:19Amazing. 32.7 points. Third amongst running backs, excluding the Monday nighter here.
9:22So this is what I'm talking about, man. It's like sometimes these running backs, you know, they come out.
9:28He's coming off injury. You expect like he wouldn't do anything.
9:31And then he goes and tears it up. Right.
9:34But again, the running back, I said load up early on running backs.
9:37Swift actually surprising Chicago. Better offense than we expected.
9:40Amazing stuff. Good for them. Awesome. You know, by Jan 31.3 David Montgomery.
9:44Part of my core four. I talked about. Make sure you guys do get David Montgomery on your rosters.
9:49I kept saying as my RB for crushed it.
9:52He actually won me my week. Him and Josh Allen just absolutely tore it up for me.
9:56Week one. Amazing stuff. So that I'm really, really excited about that for Montgomery.
10:00He finally gets a chance to shine. And that's the difference guys.
10:04When you're in a committee with Jameer Gibbs, you saw this split distribution.
10:08Now he can run free. Okay. Jonathan Taylor. Good week.
10:10Javante. My guy. Part of my core four 23, 24.2 points.
10:14Chuba having a good week. Carolina surprising. A lot of people.
10:1723.7. Kyle Manongi. 20.4. Bucky Irving. Brees Hall round out the top 12.
10:20Again, excluding the Monday night game. Maybe Kenneth Walker does something.
10:24I'm not sure. But what a wild, wild game here.
10:26A week for the running backs. All producing on a high level.
10:30Now let's talk about some guys that didn't do well and some waiver wire pickups.
10:34But let's go some waiver wire pickups right here.
10:37Okay. Now, Kyle may be available in some of your leagues.
10:40Again, every league is different. So this is what I'm saying.
10:43Again, make sure you guys do join the all access war room.
10:46I'll get to your questions specifically. Let's not take a chance on our team.
10:50Let's win it out. Okay. But let's talk about some waiver wire potential pickups here.
10:55Singletary. Okay. Had himself a good week. Not bad.
10:5713.8 points. Maybe a consideration. Jordan Mason. If he's available, 11.9 points.
11:01But as you can see here, the main running backs, the guys who were drafted within the first five, six rounds, they're the ones that performed.
11:08You're going to see a big contrast once we switch over to wide receiver.
11:12This way I say running back early. I keep emphasizing this in drafts.
11:16If you got 16 rounds, you're looking pretty. If not, you're in a lot of trouble here.
11:21You're in a heap of trouble because look at these.
11:24These are all the main running backs, right? Now, that being said, there's a guys, a bunch of guys that absolutely suck this week, right?
11:31Guys like Devin Atchain, 10.6 points. You, sir, are the suck of the week.
11:35Everyone drafted him round one. James Cook, only 9.9 points, right?
11:38Even though they put up a lot of points, didn't do well, right?
11:42Saquon Barkley, nine points. So there's a bunch of guys that didn't do well.
11:46I'm not saying that running backs are perfect, but what I'm saying is that if you got your core four, you're looking really good.
11:52Cleveland looked absolutely terrible week one, right? Seven points.
11:55So when you look at running back, you really got to just look at who's available and who had the most attempts.
12:01So go into your waiver wire, right? Where you pick up your free acquisitions, right?
12:06And take a look. Who had a lot of targets?
12:09Who was going to get volume? JCM, is he available?
12:11Jordan Mason, 15 attempts. Is he available? Right? Kalen Black had 14.
12:15He might be, he's a great waiver wire pickup.
12:17Maybe consider him, right? Who got a bunch of targets that I may want to consider?
12:22Maybe Blake Corum, right? Braylon Allen. There's another one for you.
12:2510 attempts. Like who got some work here? That didn't necessarily get a lot of points, but who got a lot of work?
12:32Maybe you're desperate for a running back. That's what you do for, you know, when you're looking at the waiver wire, right?
12:38Let's move on to wide receiver. And you're going to see a huge contrast here when we're talking wide receivers here.
12:44Now this is what I keep talking about guys.
12:47Jalen Coker, waiver wire priority number one. If he's available in your league, 33.8 points.
12:51Now it was a high scoring game. Watch the fool's goal.
12:54Sometimes these guys have these phenomenal games and the week after they don't do anything.
12:58Jalen Coker could be a perfect example of that.
13:01But if he's available in your league, why not just scoop him up based on that type of performance?
13:06And what I also look at here as well is the target count, right?
13:10Who was off people's radar that got a high target count?
13:13And I think Matthew Golden. Everybody was sleeping on him.
13:16I told you he's the one. That being said, yes, Watson had a good game.
13:21Two touchdowns. But the big part of that was the 81 yard lucky.
13:24He's not going to happen again. That was a fluke touchdown.
13:27He got it. But Matthew Golden is the one.
13:30And we saw that because he led in targets on the team.
13:33And in fact, third amongst receivers and targets. That's 12 targets for Matthew Golden.
13:37This is something that reinforces my thought process on Matthew Golden, him being the one.
13:42So that is exciting. If Matthew Golden's available, pick him up or trade for him.
13:46I love him. So that being said, Christian Watson did have, you know, amazing game.
13:5032.7 points. We're looking at the top guys. Jefferson, great week.
13:5331.3. Amonra, great week. Chris Alave. He was in now banged up.
13:57You know, good week. Jackson Smith, amazing. Zay Flowers.
13:59We talked about his little injury. Should be back.
14:02Nico, all good weeks. And DJ Moore as advertised.
14:05I kept talking about him. Is Josh Allen going to really target?
14:08Let me just move this over here. Is Josh Allen really going to target him?
14:12And sure enough, he did. Right? That's awesome. Vili, a waiver wire pickup.
14:16We know with Tyson being gone, there's a pickup there.
14:19So take a look at the top 10, right?
14:21These guys all did well. Good for them. Right?
14:24And all, most of them were as expected, right?
14:27Coker, a bit of a surprise. Vili cracking the top 10.
14:30Again, and this is what happens with wide receivers.
14:32Some guys that were undrafted, like look at this guy, Antonio Williams.
14:36There's a waiver wire pickup for you. Washington, right?
14:38Again, the target count, not high. Touchdown. Be careful though.
14:41Khalif Raymond also, nine targets. That's pretty good. But what I'm saying is it's more likely that receivers who are undrafted or
14:47drafted later in fantasy draft tend to crack the top 10, 15 and do well over the long term over those running backs, which have this secure workload.
14:55This is something I keep talking about. So that being said, wide receivers, Khalif Raymond, waiver wire, Antonio Brown, Antonio Williams, Antonio Brown.
15:02He's got his issues. That's not definitely not Antonio Brown.
15:05Um, but yeah, you look at Antonio Williams, but again, that was very touchdown.
15:09Take a look at the targets cross-reference it. You know, like I think Khalif Raymond could be great.
15:1416 points. He didn't even get a touchdown, but he had nine targets, eight receptions, right?
15:19That's what we want. Targets, receptions, high volume guys, right?
15:21Kendrick Bourne, right? Arizona looks pretty good. I was really impressed with the way Arizona looked.
15:26Kendrick Bourne, if he's available, I mean, he looked like he was getting up a lot of work up the middle, 15.5 points.
15:33Dontavian Wicks, another guy did well, 15.3 stepped up.
15:35Caleb Douglas, Miami, 14.4, all worth considering. DeMarcus, uh, Robbins, I'd be careful here.
15:39He had 13 points, but it was a touchdown on a big play.
15:43So I'd be careful there. Jack Beck, maybe consider getting four targets, three receptions and a touchdown.
15:48Maybe he becomes a touchdown monster, right? So these are some guys to consider if you are looking at waiver wire.
15:54Again, every league varies. If you guys want direct access right now, Patreon.com for slash FF counselor.
15:59Now I've got some of the guys that did crap the bed.
16:02I want to talk about here. Some big names, by the way, Alec Pierce, he was on a limited snap count.
16:08So I managed to get 10 points. Um, some guys that crap the bed T Higgins, right?
16:13April is a second round pick, third round pick crap the bed.
16:16Devante Smith, 8.3. I told you he sucks and he would, what this.
16:20I'm a little disappointed with Tennessee and Carnell Tate.
16:23I had him started 7.8. Uh, they look terrible.
16:25And, and this is kind of what we expected.
16:28I'm hoping he does better than near the end of the game though.
16:32Tennessee started picking it up, but I don't know if how sustainable that's going to be moving on.
16:37Terrible 7.8 points. Concepcion. Also another guy. We expecting things out of high draft capital guy.
16:41Crap the bed. Brian Thomas, 7 point. He was out injured.
16:44Hopefully he's got to step it up. He didn't look that good.
16:48Malik Washington, Miami. AJ Brown also got hurt. He'll be out multiple weeks.
16:52Drake London, 5.5 points. He sucked. So Marvin Harrison, 4.3.
16:54So there's a couple of guys that are big names, but Kyle lemon 2.5.
16:58All these guys were drafted around four or five, six.
17:01Some of them, right? Seven, eight all crapping the bed.
17:04But then again, take one last glance here at the top 10 DJ more.
17:08If that continues, that's exciting stuff. Jalen Coke. I don't know if that's sustainable, but definitely worth the waiver where I pick up.
17:15Okay. So again, who's available? Who got really high targets?
17:18We'll take a quick glance at the targets here.
17:20Again, you take a look. You got Kali framing.
17:23Like I said, Jameson Williams, Veeley born and Malik Washington.
17:26All consider them. Demario Douglas, even new England. Maybe if you guys are desperate in a deeper league.
17:31Okay. Those are your wide receivers. Taking a look at the running back or that the, uh, tight end position.
17:36Now let's move over there and man. Oh man.
17:39Did it likely look good. If likely is available in your league, which I doubt he likely won't be.
17:44Uh, he looked amazing. Eight targets, eight receptions, two touchdowns.
17:47Looks like a primary target for Jackson dart. Trey McBride looked outstanding.
17:51Dallas Goddard. That was kind of expected. We talked about that here, you know, in the off season and the opportunity there with AJ Brown being gone.
17:58Gusecki is a guy I'm targeting off waiver wire.
18:01If he's available, he looked good. Seven targets. Kincaid, you know, if he's available, I doubt it.
18:0618 points. Friar Muth looking not bad. Juwan Johnson, Hawkinson, and Fant.
18:09And commit. Commet. Again, take a look at that target count.
18:12Very, very low, right? Three and two with a touchdown.
18:15Probably not as sustainable. Sadiq. I talked about him.
18:18Like I got him stashed. I may start him next week.
18:21He had that touchdown. He didn't do anything big, but still 11 points, right?
18:25I hopefully start utilizing more. Now he missed a lot of practice with the groin in the off season.
18:30So he had to get, you know, integrated. So that's why maybe he didn't get as much work, but I'm looking for Sadiq to do better next week.
18:38The joy. And again, make sure you guys turn on the bell for the starts and sets.
18:43So you don't miss anything. Okay. Tyler Warren, Michael mayor.
18:46I thought he would have had a better game.
18:499.2. So again, it's a bit of a crapshoot with tight ends.
18:52Again, a couple of names you want to pick up.
18:55We look at targets here. Likely fans, fans, definitely a consideration.
18:58New Orleans. They definitely need help at wide receiver.
19:01Um, you know, Mike is a sec. He really get heavily targeted.
19:04Tucker craft to some gunner helm five targets. I don't think that's sustainable, but you never know.
19:09Right with again with tight ends, a bit of a crapshoot outside the top five, but other guys did step up.
19:15Right? So the guys that suck though, you know, um, let's see who, I'm just trying to see who sucked here.
19:21Uh, George Kittle, 3.2 fantasy points. Very unacceptable there.
19:24And you know, Tucker craft 9.5 really just not that good.
19:27Uh, Gattiston. I thought he would have done better 5.2 and fan in 4.1.
19:31So some guys that were drafted relatively mid to high draft capital did just, did just not get the job done at all.
19:37And again, take a quick glance at defense here.
19:40You could consider streaming matchups. The top defense was Steelers, Bengals, Jacksonville had them started.
19:44They did great Seahawks, Vegas, Detroit. Again, it all depends on matchups, right?
19:48If you're playing the Browns, probably start them. If you're playing maybe the, you know, the Panthers, maybe start them.
19:54It's all predicated on your league. All right. So that's all I got for you guys.
