0:00Alright guys, buckle up. It's the weekend. We're talking top 10 running backs here.
0:04I know a lot of people have drafts this weekend.
0:07This episode is going to save your entire season because you've got to know which running backs you need to draft on
0:13your roster or else you're absolutely toast, okay? What a lot of other channels are advising is that you guys avoid the running back position completely earlier on.
0:21I think that's going to be the biggest mistake.
0:23I know it's going to be the biggest mistake of your draft.
0:26So I want to make sure you get the right running backs.
0:30This is a non-consensus list. If I gave you a consensus list and said, hey, draft, what everyone else is doing, you're
0:36going to lose your league because there's a lot of players, particularly guys that I think are going to decline, that I did not include in this list.
0:44Christian McCaffrey, Devin Adchain, terrible offense. Christian McCaffrey, over 30 years old, coming off a pinnacle here.
0:48There's a lot of players that are going to decline.
0:51If I gave you copy and paste rankings as everybody else, you're going to do what everyone else does, get the same
0:57result as everyone else does, and you're going to lose your league.
1:01If you guys want to win your league, this is the only channel giving you guys the truth.
1:06So make sure you guys do. Helps the channel a lot.
1:09Smash it, tap it, slap it, slap it, guys.
1:11Hit the thumbs up. Takes a second of your time.
1:14Just smash that thumbs up. I'm going to go through the top 10 players here.
1:18And listen, I'm wearing my Raiders hat here. I've been talking about a quick example here.
1:23Mike Washington. Everybody's riding his D right now. They're riding it hard, like riding it, right?
1:27All because one preseason game. But this is the thing, right?
1:30I've been telling you since April. And if you got my 16 round draft solution, you would already know that Mike Washington is an absolute beast.
1:37He's a monster. He's a 4.3 speed guy. Should have been a workhorse on his own.
1:42And the Raiders talked about running a committee prior, right?
1:45Prior to even, you know, the draft, right? If you guys follow this channel, if you turn on the bell, you'd be aware of this.
1:52If you get 16 rounds, you'd be aware of this.
1:54Everyone's riding Mike Washington. I'm like, dude, this is not new news to me, right?
1:58We're always ahead of everybody else. We're always thinking ahead.
2:01We're 10 steps ahead. We're skating to where the puck is.
2:04Now everyone's riding Mike Washington like he's the second coming of Adrian Peterson or something.
2:08I know he's good. We got him stashed. That's all we want to do.
2:12We're avoiding Gente because he's a major threat behind him.
2:15And now we saw it in the first preseason game.
2:18So that's just one example of how we're ahead of everybody.
2:21So make sure you guys do grab the 16 round draft solution.
2:24Hit the thumbs up and subscribe. Again, this is the only channel giving you guys the truth, all right?
2:30I'm adamant about making sure you guys win. Also, we draft every single night.
2:34Best ball draft. $10 buy-in. 9 o'clock Eastern. Turn on the bell for that.
2:37And if you haven't created an account on underdog, go do that right now.
2:41I've linked it below. Use code LION. LION is the code you want to do when you create that underdog account.
2:47Put down a deposit. Get to draft with me.
2:50We're doing best ball drafts, high stakes drafts, all types of drafts.
2:53This is the place to be. We play in season.
2:56We can win a lot. Make sure you guys go to underdog right now.
3:00Create the, I've actually linked it below, right? Create an underdog account, underdog fantasy, and use code LION.
3:05Sign up, put down a deposit, and just DM me or just see me at 9 o'clock.
3:09Jump on in. We're drafting every night. What's more fun than drafting, right?
3:13Listen, I'm pumped up. Grab 16 rounds, and let's get rocking here.
3:16All right, we're going to count it 10 down to one.
3:19Top 10 running backs here. And listen, I'm really pumped up.
3:22Again, this is non-consensus. We're going to start off with the 10th guy here.
3:26Now, this is how they could finish potentially. This isn't to say that these guys, you know, are based on consent.
3:32I'm not going to give you the consensus. This is how they could potentially finish in the rankings, okay?
3:37Now, mind you, Saquon get hurt. Any one of these guys gets hurt.
3:41The backup steps up, this and that, right? And there's a lot of players I left out.
3:46So just stick with me and follow the workflow if you guys are new here.
3:50All right, number 10 here is Saquon Barkley, okay?
3:53Now, I'm going to tell you where the consensus have him in comparison to this list.
3:57I got him number 10 because he has potential to finish top 10.
4:01I don't see any reason why he doesn't. He's ranked ninth on the Kinshipzis rankings.
4:05I got him at 10. I still think he finishes top 10.
4:08I still think he's very capable. There's no competition there.
4:11He can run, he can catch. He's going to get the goal line work.
4:15His only competition is Jalen Hurts. But Jalen Hurts, you know, I'm not really concerned.
4:19It's not like going to be a workhorse running back.
4:22It's going to dive into the volume there. So I got Saquon top 10.
4:26We kind of know what we're going to get out of him.
4:29The thing about Saquon is though, I think we've seen the best that Saquon can do.
4:33You know, a couple of years ago, hit his peak.
4:36I just don't see him surpassing that. So his ceiling, I feel is limited.
4:40We've seen the best at a Saquon, okay? And that's what I want to get across here.
4:45I'm looking for more young dynamic talent that could emerge and potentially break out based on talent opportunity situation, so on and so forth.
4:51We're projecting forward. I've been called the running back whisperer.
4:54I see things before they happen and I want to project that to you so you guys actually win your league.
5:00I built my brand so you guys actually win your league.
5:03Do I have any Saquon stock this year? Zero, zilch, nada, no, none.
5:07Although, like I said, I think he's safe, has top 10 potential.
5:10I personally don't have any stock, okay? Moving on to number nine here, okay?
5:14Another guy that I think we've seen the best out of.
5:17We're not going to see a better Jonathan Taylor.
5:20He's also coming off a pinnacle year. Barring any injury, assuming he just stays healthy.
5:24This guy still has potential to be a top 10.
5:27He was in our bus episode. I get it.
5:29There's easily other guys that could surpass him. Chase Brown could easily be in this list.
5:33Bashal Tootin, if things go his way. There is other running backs.
5:37Kyron Williams. There's other running backs I actually probably would prefer, but I get them later.
5:41I'm not drafting Jonathan Taylor round one. Listen, he's going to get a ton of stacked boxes, okay?
5:46They don't have a wide receiver. Josh Jones is not the solution.
5:50I do like Tyler Warren. Alec Pierce could come back and be relatively efficient, but right now, the way that it sits,
5:56he's going to be the focal point of that offense, meaning tons of stacked boxes, meaning coming off a pinnacle year and a regression.
6:02So heed my warning. He's in my top 10 list because based on volume, based on minimal committee, based on talent, this
6:09guy could easily finish in the top 10. Do I have any stock in John Taylor?
6:13Absolutely not. Zero. In round one, I'm not doing it, okay?
6:16And you got to stay to the end because you're going to be shocked at who the top five are.
6:22It's going to be pretty mind-blowing. But I'm not shocked, but maybe you guys will be, or even who's in this top 10 list completely.
6:29But Taylor, great talent, okay? I just think we've seen the best at him, but he's worthy here based on situation and
6:35everything else that he has to be here, okay?
6:37Number eight here, this is going to be a little bit of a shocker.
6:41I can't believe he's in here. People will say, I'm not saying you have to draft this guy in round two, right?
6:47Just because he's top 10 on my list here.
6:50I'm saying that this guy could finish in the top 10.
6:53Difference from ADP consensus rankings. I keep hammering that home.
6:56Quinshon Judkins is round five ADP. Why do I love this guy?
6:59Look at his stats last year. Take a look at it, man.
7:02200 plus rushing attempts. He didn't play the full season.
7:05He was dealing with some sort of domestic thing off field, allegedly, right?
7:09So he had that going in the back of his head.
7:12They had a terrible O-line. They went ahead and draft a top offensive guard, right?
7:16To improve the O-line. I think it's Spencer, Fano.
7:18I got to look. It doesn't matter. They drafted an O-line guy, top prospect.
7:22I think it was Spencer. Improving their O-line. The receiving core is doing okay.
7:26Concepcion was drafted. Denzel Boston looking good. They've got Fanon.
7:29They've got receiving options that are really just going to spread the defense back and open up things for Quinshon Judkins because
7:35they didn't have those options last year, okay? And then you see that they didn't draft anybody else.
7:40It's the Quinshon Judkins show. Dude, this guy is super talented, right?
7:43And they don't have anybody else. They got Samson there who was drafted in the fourth round last year who I'm not really concerned with, right?
7:51You can feel the energy, guys. I'm telling you guys, this is so much upside here.
7:55So if you're saying, well, Quinshon's a top 10, then when you're looking at running backs in round five, maybe grab Judkins, right?
8:01As part of your robust RB core. Now, if you're like, okay, who do I put in my robust RB core?
8:07Who do I draft? It's all laid out in 60 rounds.
8:10I'm literally handing you an ironclad roster. So it's like literally foolproof.
8:14You're going to destroy your league base, right? It's super easy, okay?
8:17So grabs Quinshon Judkins as part of a robust RB strategy.
8:20Top 10 potential here. He's really good for the reasons I stated, right?
8:24This is kind of a boomer bust pick, but I'll tell you why I like Judarian Price so much or why he
8:30can finish in the top 10, okay? We are talking about a guy who lived in the shadow at Notre Dame, in the shadow of Jeremiah Love, okay?
8:38Now he's got a chance to run wild in a committee where the other guys aren't relevant.
8:42Helani, the other guys, Wilson, not relevant. Chabernet is coming off a knee tear, which happened, I think, just, it hasn't even been a year.
8:49A huge opportunity for Judarian Price, who's also, if you're listening to Training Camp, that's why you got to subscribe, turn on the bell.
8:56I'm breaking news here, my story mode on Instagram.
8:58You guys got to be following. He's catching a lot of balls, okay?
9:02He had a little bit of soreness. I don't know which extremity he was on, which body part, but he was dealing
9:08with a little bit of soreness, and then he came back four or five days later, right back into first team offense.
9:14So, listen, if this was Kenneth Walker, Kenneth Walker would easily be coming off round two.
9:19This guy would get him in round five. This is phenomenal value.
9:22Like, take a note here. Judarian Price, round four to five, like, this is a steal, okay?
9:27You're getting a guy who's drafted in round one, and you're getting him for a deal.
9:31Now, understand, every time a running back, for most of the time anyway, is drafted in round one, they are drafted in,
9:37like, round one or two in fantasy, right? Like, you look at Clyde Edwards-Alaire a couple years ago.
9:42Like, I told you to avoid that guy. End of round one, he busted, though, right?
9:47Bad example. But the point I'm trying to make is that if they're drafted in the NFL round one, they get drafted in fantasy.
9:53Gentie, last year, first round pretty much in fantasy round two.
9:57Jeremiah Love, round two this year. This guy was drafted in the first round.
10:00I get him in the fifth round? Are you kidding me?
10:04Like, sign me. Where's my pen? Sign me up for Judarian.
10:07I'm signing right now. Ink it. You know, I'm signing up.
10:10Like, give me Judarian Price round five. That's part of my robust RB strategy, okay?
10:14Love him, all right? Number six here, moving on here.
10:17I love Javante Williams. 200-plus attempts last year. He's going to get double-digit touchdowns.
10:20They did not address the running back position in regards to drafting anybody or bringing anybody else in.
10:25Jaden Blue is not competition. It's Javante's backfield. He proved it last year.
10:29He was the definition of years to wow me, and I'm not wowed.
10:33And guess what? I'm wowed. He actually, he wowed me.
10:35I'm impressed, Javante Williams. And that's a big indicator that there's certain teams where your career goes to just perish.
10:41Like, it's not a good fit. Like, Denver destroyed his career.
10:44We see this happening with Travion Henderson, with the Patriots.
10:47We saw it with Sonny Michel in the Patriots when he was drafted years ago.
10:51First-round prospect, top running back prospect. It was hindered.
10:54His career was destroyed with the Patriots. There's certain teams that destroy running back careers.
10:58We saw Javante was revived with the Cowboys last year.
11:01So, listen, they like him. They paid him. I think three-year, $24 million plus.
11:04He's going to be the starter, and he's capable.
11:07There's no one going to come in and steal goal line work from Javante Williams.
11:11He's as safe as they come. You get him in the fourth round.
11:15Why not, right? Number five, listen, right? Let's talk about Jeremiah Love after that first preseason game, okay?
11:20What we saw is a lot of usage, okay?
11:22Now, he kind of hurt his ankle a little bit.
11:25It's nothing serious. He's fine. But the Cardinals showed a lot of trust in him.
11:29We saw Algier a little bit in that mix.
11:32Not enough that I'm concerned. They're going to use Algier to give Jeremiah Love a break, okay?
11:36Based on talent, I'm drafting him. I'm taking the risk.
11:39Like, a lot of people are off this guy, James Conner.
11:42James Conner sucks. James Conner has sucked for years.
11:45He shouldn't have even been a starter, but somehow, magically, he got the opportunity and was utilized.
11:49Like, he sucks. He was a backup to crappy Le'Veon Bell.
11:53Le'Veon Bell sucks, too. He's a product of the offense with Antonio Brown spreading the defenses back with double coverage, opening things
11:59up, giving him time to run with his patient running.
12:01And Conner was backup to him. We know Le'Veon Bell sucked because he went to, and we're going off on a tangent
12:08here, but he went to the Jets, and all the kids, she just told you, draft Le'Veon Bell round one.
12:13I'm like, don't do it. Le'Veon Bell sucks. Jets suck.
12:16Don't do it. This is years ago. Another example where the counselor was right.
12:20So what I'm saying is, Jeremiah Love is boomer busty.
12:23I get it. But you don't draft a guy third overall, make him the highest-paid running back ever, rookie running back, that is.
12:29And with his amount of talent that this guy has, he looked explosive in that first preseason game, doing flips, circles, hurtling, looking explosive, showing great vision.
12:36Understand there's going to be some cage rust, or what do you call it?
12:40I watch a lot of MMA. There's going to be a lot of ring rust.
12:45Okay, I watch a lot of WWE. You guys get the point I'm trying to say here, right?
12:50A lot of field rust, right? Well, not even that.
12:52It's just that there's a speed in the NFL, and he's got to adjust to it.
12:57It takes the time. I'm glad he's getting the jitters out, and he's going to be ready to rock.
13:02And regardless of how much they're going to work in the other running back, I don't think they're going to use him a lot.
13:09He's going to get a lot of work. They're going to utilize him.
13:12They just have to. This is their guy. This is their best offensive weapon.
13:16By the way, shout out to Marvin Harrison Jr.
13:19for getting a touchdown and looking alive out there.
13:21So I think that the Cardinals are going to do better than people expect.
13:25They've got a lot of talent. Remember, Marvin Harrison Jr., first-round pick.
13:28Jeremiah Love, first-round pick. Brissette looks pretty good. He's not the best quarterback, but he looked pretty good in preseason.
13:34Listen, that reinforced my feeling about Jeremiah Love. I'm paying the ticket price.
13:38I'm paying the price of admission for talent. That's what I'm doing.
13:41So if that's you guys, definitely top five potential here with Jeremiah Love.
13:45He could really, really be special, okay? Oh, by the way, speaking of the preseason game from a night or two ago,
13:51the Mike Washington talking we talked about, but it's like that's why I faded Gentry is because, you know, I think Mike
13:57Washington is going to be a factor. With these running backs, I don't see a factor.
14:01I don't see anyone else coming in, which leads me to four, right?
14:05I think Mike Washington, because he's big, he's going to steal the goal line work.
14:09Where you got James Cook, it's like James Cook's going to get all the work.
14:13Even the other guys we're going to talk about, they're going to get all the work.
14:18The backups are not a concern. So I think James Cook has the safest RB, you know, as a safest running back,
14:24which we'll go to number four here, safest running back with upside, right?
14:27He could run, he can catch, he could do it all.
14:31There's no competition. He's in a high octane office with a good old line.
14:34And he was last year's rushing leader. So by far, I mean, if you're looking at any running back round one, I like him better than CMC.
14:42I like him better than Jonathan Taylor. I like him better than more than ad chain.
14:46I like him better than all, pretty much everybody in round one.
14:50And here's the thing. Everyone's like, Oh, I like Gibbs and Robinson.
14:53You're not going to get Gibbs and Robinson. You have, most leagues are 12 people.
14:57It's very unlikely. You're going to get Gibbs and Robinson.
15:00Like you have a one in 12 chance. You might get them, but if you don't have the first, second or third
15:06overall pick, you have no shot at getting Gibbs and Robinson.
15:09That's when you got to look elsewhere. And, and here's the good news, right?
15:13You don't have to get Gibbs and Robinson because I can easily see the next two guys, number three and four will
15:19come off late first round, early second, easily surpassing Gibbs and Robinson this year.
15:23We're going to talk about that. Okay. James cook is one of them.
15:27The next guy I'm all in on. Okay. My high stakes league.
15:30I've got them. Let's go. Number three here is Omarian Hampton.
15:33Okay. He does it all. All right. I don't, I don't want to hear all this Mike McDaniel talk that they're going to run a committee.
15:40They're going to use all their backs. They could use their backs.
15:44Yeah. They're going to use Vidal to catch punts or something like return punts.
15:48You know, cause he'll touch the ball once or two.
15:50They're going to keep Mitchell's going to come down on third down once in a while.
15:55Right. They're going to throw the ball. Maybe they want him lining up outside.
15:59I don't know what type of offensive plan they've got going, but I will tell you this, Omar, if they want to
16:05win, which I think the chargers actually do want to win this year.
16:08Cause they didn't bring in key. Now they're focusing on their youth.
16:12Trey Harris, Ladin McConkie, Gadison. They brought in a joy coup.
16:15They, they, they drafted Omar and Hampton last year in the first, first round.
16:19This offense is ready to rock. They want to win.
16:21Herbert has got to get something going this year.
16:24This is the year. No more dicker stickers or whatever they call it.
16:28Well, no more dicking around. They want to win.
16:30And if they want to win, they got to run their best run back.
16:34Omar and Hampton. All I got to say, anyone who's saying Keaton Mitchell, you're an idiot because I'll tell you right now,
16:40go look at the Keaton Mitchell's stats. He is not a threat.
16:43He sucks. He sucks. Go, just Google Keaton Mitchell stats.
16:46And then you come tell me that you want to draft Keaton Mitchell or that Keaton Mitchell's a threat.
16:52You guys are out of your mind. I don't know what you're smoking.
16:55I'm so sick of this kid. He sucks. Keaton Mitchell.
16:58I could go out there and run faster. Not faster.
17:01He's faster than me, but I can go out there and get more receiving yards at Keaton Mitchell.
17:06Like he sucks. It's going to be the Omar and Hampton show last year.
17:10Had his ankle thing. We're past that last year.
17:12Terrible. They've improved that last year. Is done. The rookie jitters are out.
17:16It's Omar and Hampton's here and he can run and he can catch.
17:19He could do it better than anyone else in, in the NFL.
17:23Love me some Omar and Hampton. Don't sleep. All right.
17:25Number two here. This is pretty obvious. We got to go with by Jan Robinson.
17:30Yes. By is in biweekly. Ran is in man as in tan as in fan.
17:34By B-I. Jan. Bijan is in a great situation.
17:36Just got paid. Mind you, I'm not really crazy on contract hangovers because they've got paid.
17:41I like the hungry running back. Right. And the first, the other two are just not as hungry.
17:46Although they got to reciprocate the return on investment.
17:48If that makes sense. Safe, secure, durable. By Jan is going to get the, there's no, he got a downgrade with Brian Robinson jr.
17:55Coming in. Algier was better than Brian Robinson jr.
17:57And he doesn't know the system as much as, as, as Robinson.
18:01Robinson is going to just be on the field a lot.
18:04Unless he breaks up for a run for 53 yards.
18:07He needs a break. They're going to bring in the other guy, the other Robinson, which by the way, you want to
18:13make sure you don't draft Brian Robinson. If you're drafting first or second overall, don't make that mistake.
18:18All right. But listen, by Jan. I mean, you could, it just want, you could pick one or two, whichever one you guys want.
18:24Love this guy. Draft them. Right. And it goes without saying who the first, overall is I'll tell you why, but again,
18:31make sure you guys do grab the 16 round dressers.
18:33Do not draft without it. Sleepers break us. Auto players do not draft without it.
18:37And make sure you guys create an underdog counter.
18:40I've linked it below. Use code lion. Grab, grab it, create an account.
18:44Deposit 10, 15 bucks. And we could draft every night, 9 PM.
18:47All right. So grab your phone right now. Create an underdog count.
18:50Use code lion. And let's get rocking every night.
18:53We're it's draft season. We're not, we're not messing around anymore.
18:56Right. Number one is Jameer Gibbs. Highest. Our highest paid running back pretty much in the NFL.
19:01This point first overall pick tons of upside. Pacheco sucks.
19:03Pacheco is going to get some goal line work.
19:06Once a while, he's going to piss you off a couple of times.
19:09We're talking major downgrade as well. Compared to David Montgomery.
19:12I think Dave Montgomery is far hungrier, far better than Pacheco.
19:15I think Pacheco is good. I don't think he's that good though.
19:19Gibbs is going to, they don't pay this guy 70 plus million dollars to bench him.
19:23He's finally going to run free. No more Sonic and Knuckles BS.
19:26He's the alpha dog. This is his year. And they're going to let him run wild.
19:31And his ceiling is so high. And had Montgomery, I've said this, I'm going to say it again before we wrap this up.
19:37Had Montgomery not been there, he would have broke every rushing running back record known to man from receiving to rushing to touch everything.
19:44He would have broke it. Montgomery completely held this guy and capped his ceiling.
19:48Yet he still finished as a top five fantasy running back.
19:51Like with minimal attempts, a hundred plus attempts, just wasted on Montgomery, right?
19:55He's gone. Now, again, I think Pacheco is going to be a bit of a pest.
19:59I understand that, but I think Pacheco is more of a pest than Keaton Mitchell is to Omar and Hampton.
20:05I think Pacheco is more of a pest than Brian Robinson is to buy Jan.
20:09I think he's, you know, but I don't think he's much of a pest as Mike, you know, Mike Washington is as Gentie.
20:15I think that's going to be a disaster for Gentie owners.
20:18I'm telling you right now, I really, I've been saying this with Mike Washington after that preseason game.
20:23I'm seeing it. That's why Gentie is out of the top 10.
20:26He could easily fall last year, finish 11th without Mike Washington there.
20:30Now Mike Washington, who I think is just as good or even better as Gentie is there.
20:35Look out, look out Gentie owners. You guys will be in a whole heap of trouble this year with Mike Washington.
20:40I'm warning you guys. I've warned you guys since April, but I continue to say now everyone's riding the Mike Washington train.
20:47Okay. Back to Gibbs high ceiling. Love the talent.
