Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection112:10

Rodgers is an underrated fantasy quarterback, having posted back-to-back 30-point performances with little media attention.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeProjection49:55

Ashton Jeanty has been acceptable for fantasy production, with a particularly encouraging six-reception performance on Sunday, though he was a centerpiece of early-round drafting strategies that failed to outperform Kenneth Walker.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeProjection4:00

Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs are considered 50-50 in value, though some analysts are beginning to favor Gibbs due to Brian Robinson Jr. eating into Bijan's workload when the Falcons have a lead.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeBust44:12

Blake Corum has been a complete disaster for fantasy managers, failing to secure the goal-line role or standalone value expected, rendering him essentially useless in current lineups despite his high preseason hype.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeBust125:32

Nix is struggling significantly, with limited passing depth and poor performance. He is a candidate to be benched or dropped in many leagues.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveUsage7:16

Brian Robinson Jr. is effectively the 'handcuff' that fantasy managers wanted Blake Corum to be, providing significant value and goal-line work that impacts Bijan Robinson's ceiling.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage117:53

Hubbard is a high-volume back who has become a focal point of his offense. Despite some skepticism regarding his talent level, his volume makes him a valuable asset, especially for zero-RB builds.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeBust61:16

DJ Moore's season has been a disaster, and his shoulder injury is a significant concern that will likely persist throughout the year, making him a difficult player to trust in lineups.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeUsage29:35

D'Andre Swift owners should be concerned about a potential 50-50 backfield split with Roschon Johnson; Swift has faced frustration with touchdowns being called back and fumbles, making his outlook volatile.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeProjection32:29

Dalton Kincaid has disappeared from the Bills' offense after a promising start, recording only three catches in two games, which is hurting fantasy lineups.

Insight page
PositiveUsage123:59

Kincaid is identified as a player who needs to be the focal point of the Bills' offense. There is speculation he may be playing through a knee injury sustained earlier in the season.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeBust45:52

Fading Kyren Williams in favor of David Montgomery has been a horrible decision, as Montgomery failed to meet the expectation of being a volume monster compared to the production Williams has provided.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveValue111:10

Metcalf is validated as a superior pick compared to Pittman, evidenced by his recent 5-catch, 115-yard performance.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveBreakout64:53

Drake Maye has shown signs of life, providing hope for fantasy managers who were previously concerned about his outlook.

Insight page
NegativeUsage108:19

Maye was a recommended start, though concerns regarding the offensive line depth (specifically the third-string right guard) led to some hesitation and benching in favor of Brissett.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeProjection18:36

George Pickens is struggling with consistency, drawing comparisons to Jameson Williams as a 'boom-or-bust' player, though he is expected to have a big game against Tampa Bay.

Insight page
PositiveProjection53:03

George Pickens remains a highly talented receiver who is expected to continue producing points, especially given the poor quality of the Dallas defense.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury110:58

There is speculation that Chase may sit out the game against Miami to rest before the team's Week 6 bye, creating uncertainty for his fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveUsage106:10

Brissett is a heavily utilized streaming quarterback, with Lance Friday. Yeah bidding aggressively (up to $75) to acquire him for favorable matchups like the Lions.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection4:00

Jahmyr Gibbs remains a top-tier running back option alongside Bijan Robinson, capable of delivering 40-point fantasy weeks, though he faces some competition for snaps from Sione Vocky.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

NegativeUsage114:29

McLaughlin is noted for a 38-yard touchdown run, but his role remains limited compared to other backfield options.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveValue43:13

Javonte Williams has been a significant miss for those who faded him, as he is currently providing high-level production that was undervalued by the fantasy community during the draft.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:01

Javonte Williams saw his draft stock rise significantly in late August, moving from a fourth-round pick to an early third-round pick following the cuts of Jaden Blue and Malik Davis, as well as the injury to Malik Davis.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveBreakout52:17

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is identified as a key player needed to win leagues, and the failure to roster him due to a preference for Amon-Ra St. Brown is viewed as a significant strategic miss.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveValue48:40

Jalen Warren was a high-value target in the mid-rounds, and his presence on rosters has helped stabilize teams that missed on other running back picks like Blake Corum.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection109:13

Burrow's fantasy outlook is in danger due to the potential absence of his top two targets, Chase and Higgins, heading into a matchup against Miami.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveSleeper54:29

Jonathan Brooks is a high-upside stash for the second half of the season, as he is expected to return from injury in about four weeks to an offense that is trending upward.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveUsage106:04

Love is a primary streaming option for fantasy managers, as Lance Friday. Yeah is actively rotating him into lineups to capitalize on favorable matchups.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeProjection105:39

Despite a recent two-week slump, Allen remains the king of the quarterback position. However, expectations should be tempered due to his banged-up knee and the potential absence of DJ Moore, which limits his ceiling compared to his early-season 40-plus point potential.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeBust63:03

Justin Herbert has been a major disappointment after being widely touted as an MVP candidate, with the Chargers' offense failing to live up to the 'dream scenario' hype.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury25:22

Justin Jefferson's injury status is a major concern for fantasy owners, as he has missed favorable matchups against Miami and Tampa Bay, and his return timeline remains uncertain despite the Vikings' 4-0 start.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection4:06

Kenneth Walker is viewed as a high-skill asset capable of 40-point weeks, with some analysts preferring him over Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs due to his role and team context.

Insight page
PositiveValue25:17

Kenneth Walker is a high-value target who should have been drafted at the turn; Lance Friday. Yeah believes he underestimated Walker's potential to produce a line similar to Kareem Hunt's rookie season, noting that this is the first time the Chiefs have had a dynamic running back in years.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:24

Kenneth Walker has significantly outperformed other running backs drafted in the late first or early second round, with the failure to draft him over players like Hampton and Jeanty resulting in a major point deficit for some managers.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveValue18:32

Kyren Williams is a 'baller' who has outperformed expectations, making him one of the best draft picks of the season despite early-season skepticism.

Insight page
PositiveValue43:13

Kyren Williams has been a significant miss for those who faded him, as he is currently providing high-level production that was undervalued by the fantasy community during the draft.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:12

Kyren Williams is performing as an elite top-six or top-seven running back, dominating goal-line work and seeing increased involvement in the passing game, which has made him a league-winning asset for those who drafted him.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeInjury50:58

Ladd McConkey is a major fantasy regret due to recurring health issues, missing time in weeks four through six, and being a 'disaster wipeout' for owners who invested in him.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveBreakout53:51

Malik Nabers is trending upward after a strong performance, with Lance Friday. Yeah encouraging owners to hold despite injury concerns, as he is regaining rhythm and strength in his arm.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveBreakout26:52

Michael Mayer is emerging as a potential top-10 tight end, functioning as a key part of the Raiders' offense alongside Brock Bowers.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeBust110:52

Pittman is labeled as potentially the worst pick in the top 100 overall, having been significantly outperformed by Roman Wilson.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveBreakout22:17

Nico Collins is expected to rise to the top of fantasy standings and become a top-five weekly wide receiver now, despite a rough September.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeProjection26:02

Parker Washington was drafted aggressively as a sleeper, though he had a dud performance in the most recent week; Lance Friday. Yeah remains hopeful for his future production.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveBreakout22:17

Puka Nacua is expected to rise to the top of fantasy standings and become a top-five weekly wide receiver now that he is healthy, despite a rough September.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury10:40

Rashee Rice suffered an injury early in the game, which would have opened up significant opportunities for other Chiefs receivers like Tyquan Thornton had they remained healthy.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveBreakout110:43

Wilson is emerging as a key target in the offense, consistently seeing around six targets per game. He is viewed as a popular waiver wire add and potentially the team's WR2.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeDepth Chart28:48

Roschon Johnson was drafted by some as a contingency plan due to uncertainty surrounding Roschon Johnson's health, but he has since been overshadowed by other developments in the backfield.

Insight page

Skyler Bell

PositiveSleeper123:46

Bell is a player to watch for the Bills; despite being a fourth-round pick from a small school, he is noted for having 'juice' and potential upside.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

PositiveBreakout18:44

T.J. Hockenson is a major waiver wire target after a massive 13-catch, 120-yard performance, especially with Justin Jefferson's injury status uncertain.

Insight page
NegativeUsage22:33

There is debate regarding T.J. Hockenson's fantasy outlook upon Justin Jefferson's return; while some fear he will lose value, he remains a focal point of the Vikings' passing attack, especially when the offense is forced to move the ball.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeInjury109:20

Higgins is dealing with an abductor injury, which Lance Friday. Yeah compares to a sports hernia/core muscle issue. There is significant concern that this injury will zap his speed and movement, making him a risky fantasy asset.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection11:43

Travis Kelce has underperformed significantly over the past few weeks, raising concerns about his ability to maintain his status as a top-five weekly tight end.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage23:24

Trey McBride is expected to be a primary target for Kyler Murray, similar to how Murray has historically relied on his number one wide receiver.

Insight page
NegativeUsage115:26

McBride is a high-volume tight end who consistently earns double-digit targets. Lance Friday. Yeah regrets not drafting him more aggressively in NFFC formats.

Insight page

Tyquan Thornton

NegativeInjury9:02

Tyquan Thornton was emerging as a key deep threat for the Chiefs, especially following Rashee Rice's injury, but his fantasy value was derailed by an injury.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

PositiveUsage107:34

Bagent is a recommended streaming target against Green Bay. His production potential was masked last week by teammate rushing touchdowns, but he remains a viable play in high-total games against weak defenses.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveBreakout25:38

Zay Flowers was identified as this year's JSN due to the lack of wide receiver depth on the Ravens, making him a strong target for target share, provided Lamar Jackson remains healthy.

0:00October is here and we are at the quarter poll of the fantasy season.
0:05It's a great time to take stock of our teams.
0:08Where are they now? What's the outlook? And for each one of our teams, how can I manage this particular team into the playoffs?
0:16Also, it's a good time to make some notes to your future self.
0:20Who's going to be drafting next year? You know, what do you want to tell that future self?
0:26What could you or should you have done differently?
0:28We'll get into all that. And of course, we're going to be pulling some lessons out of week four as well.
0:35It's time for the Empire. Welcome guys. I should say first thing you're going to notice is we're down a man this week.
0:43Nelson, he's been complaining of back tightness ever since last week and it's kind of progressed to the point that we had to declare him inactive this week.
0:52But I just want you guys to be assured our negotiators are hard at work to resolve those back issues.
0:58We'll get them back on the team for next week.
1:01I don't know, Dan. I heard the fantasy sit down might have tried to acquire his life during the week and Nelson's in a standoff here.
1:10He's holding out for more money. He's holding out.
1:13Yeah, they're trying all the, you know, breaking out all the stops.
1:17They got it. They got to trade us something for our services, though.
1:21I mean, you know, they got to go at least a couple of prime times.
1:26Yeah, I mean, they can't even get themselves on air over there.
1:30So that's all right. I love those guys. That was so funny before we, he couldn't get on.
1:35I'm like, Paul, you better get on. They're going to fall in.
1:39The Terry's nerves in the top of his head must have been popping out.
1:44I can't do this. I don't know what's going on.
1:47It was a little bit of good humor, but yeah, great guys over there.
1:51We had some good laughs in the group chat with Lance Friday.
1:55Yeah, Dan, let's get this party started here. We're four weeks in and it's been a bumpy road.
2:01Yeah, yeah, definitely. Matt, you want to get us started off?
2:05I'm ready to go. First thing I want to do is kind of debunk this myth I've been hearing since the season
2:12started, where if you didn't have these two running backs, you know, you're lost, you're dead.
2:17I look at this week, the top 10 point scorers, non-quarterback, five running backs, five receivers.
2:22Week three, two running backs, five receivers, three tight ends.
2:25Week two, two running backs, six receivers, two tight ends.
2:29Week one was the outlier where it was seven running backs and three wide receivers.
2:33But elite wide receivers are just as good as elite running backs.
2:37And the other thing, too, is Gibbs and Bijon were not skill.
2:41It was luck of the draw and that you got the one or the two pick.
2:46Picking like Kenneth Walker was skill, not luck. So, I mean...
2:50Matt, you're right with that Bijon-Gibbs thing. That's one of my things.
2:54I, in 18 big leagues, high stakes teams, I got one out of 18 top two picks.
2:59And it's a big difference. That will definitely, you know, that's nothing you could do there.
3:05But here's my question. Just a quick little game.
3:07One question I have. After this first four weeks, we got, you know, a little bit of a feel here.
3:14After the rest of the season, who would you take?
3:17Gibbs, Bijon, or Kenneth Walker? I'm just curious. I don't think other people would be too.
3:22Oh, I'll eliminate Ken Walker out of those three.
3:25It's Bijon and Gibbs for me. Flip a coin.
3:28I was kind of a little bit on a, you know, different than everybody.
3:33I was staying fast with Bijon at one this year.
3:36And after a couple weeks, it looked foolish. But I don't think it looks that foolish anymore.
3:41You know, flip a coin. They're 50-50. Dan? I mean, it's kind of hard to say.
3:47Maybe it's a little bit of recency bias. But after the past couple weeks, Bijon might be the first one I eliminate.
3:54Just because the other B-Rob in town is getting so much of the work when they get a lead.
4:00Wow. You know, it's like, yeah. But I mean, you know, you need to be able to close out those 40-point weeks.
4:07You know, we got Walker getting 40-point weeks. You know, we got Gibbs getting 40-point weeks.
4:12You know, let's go with Bijon. You know, and he gets 27.5 last night.
4:17And his understudy gets 25.5. You know, that's not good for business.
4:20So, you know, reluctantly, I love them all. I don't want to cut any of them.
4:26You know, it's like, you know, I'm thrilled with all three.
4:29No, I mean, that's my relationship. I don't know if we can make Brian – listen, Brian Robinson's basically what we wanted.
4:36I saw somebody say it on Twitter and I was like, wow, you know, it's true.
4:41Brian Robinson's what we wanted Blake Corum to be on the draft board.
4:46Exactly. That's a perfect analogy. You know, so he's the top handcuff right now.
4:50God forbid anything happens to Bijon. But I don't think that Brian Robinson, especially last night, Dan, is like, you know, a hindrance.
4:58Yeah, he comes in on the 10. And, you know, but Sione Vocky's coming in and getting some playing time for Gibbs.
5:05These guys can't come out there and get 34 carries each week and not break down at some point.
5:11Yeah, Chris, I think the difference is the goal on carries.
5:14Like, that would have been like a 50-burger for Bijon.
5:18That's the difference for me. Okay. You can break it up.
5:21But I think that was, you know, good. I don't know.
5:25I might even mean Kenneth Walker. So, Matt, what's your answer to the question?
5:29I think I'm leaning Kenneth Walker. Overall three? I think the way the Chiefs are set up, they do need a deep threat now.
5:37They had the deep threat. And I want to say shout out to Tyquan Thornton.
5:42We thank you for your anniversary gift to Modica's on Sunday.
5:45Oh, yeah. How do you know? Unfortunately, you died on the field, and I was very sad.
5:51You know, you were one of my big fan pickups a couple of weeks ago.
5:56And you looked like you were going to be with him.
5:59Wait, are we having a moment of silence here?
6:02Yes, we're having a moment of silence. What is it with the Chiefs and these, you know, having to sacrifice a wide receiver every season?
6:10I mean, you know, last year it was worthy.
6:13This year it's, you know. Actually, last year it was Tyquan Thornton, Dan.
6:17Thornton became the deep threat again. He was showing you.
6:21And then he got hurt. You know, it seems like.
6:24Matt, it was a great call. I'm just saying, I thought he had sacrifice had been out wide.
6:30So. Matt, it was a great call by you with Thornton because he was turning into something.
6:35And it was going to become a thing down the road here as we went first.
6:40Especially with Rice going out early in the game.
6:43And I mean, now you kind of like a little bit of bad luck.
6:48You know, Rice is going into a bye week or else he probably misses one or two actual games.
6:54And Thornton could have thrived. But, you know, then Thornton goes down.
6:58So, for the 18th time, are we all in, you know, is it maybe Xavier Worthy time?
7:03Or it may be Travis Kelsey again in year 18 as well, you know, can be a top five weekly tight end.
7:10I'm just going to make a couple of quick points and you guys can do most of the observations here.
7:17Yeah. You know, it was mostly ugly football for the most part this week.
7:21There's a betting term. You know, you're not as good as you look.
7:26You're not as bad as you are. And I think you can use that for fantasy.
7:31You know, I tried using the thing with Drake May last week.
7:35He was terrible going up against the Bills. And I made some calls this week that I just got to blame myself.
7:42I went away from my, like, number one quarterbacks to some backups in some instances.
7:47And that totally backfired. So, that was a lesson learned there.
7:50And just football in general, they got to do something.
7:53And 17 touchdowns nullified. Six games were over 200 penalty yards.
7:57I mean, it really, it's just getting out of control.
8:00You watch the game, you don't even know, like, what's real or not anymore.
8:05You know, so you're like, everything's on tape delay.
8:08Matt, I said this on last year. And I feel like when we score touchdowns, our fantasy players, I don't celebrate anymore.
8:15I'm like, is there a flag? Is there a flag?
8:18Like, that's my instant reaction every time watching football throughout the course of the day.
8:23When my player scores, I'm not like, yes, it's, where's the flag?
8:27And it's a sucky way to watch football, especially fantasy football, right?
8:31Because Tootin got two touchdowns called back, you know, the other day.
8:34And it's, you know, it's painful. So, you guys can go on with the observations and I'll sit back and relax.
8:41All right. Well, I should probably get into it about our good buddy, Ali Gordon, who graced the thumbnail this week.
8:48I will say I was probably at least partly wrong, but I'm still not sorry about my takes.
8:54I think he made two big plays. It won't be there every week.
8:58But that said, he could still make me regret not betting on him more aggressively.
9:03He dispatched Jalen Wright much more easily than I expected.
9:06And he's getting a few targets in there, too.
9:09So, he's probably not the worst ad in the world.
9:12But I still think if you think you're getting 15 points a week out of him, that's a fantasy.
9:18Can I just say something to you? We brought up Ali Gordon.
9:22Like, I didn't get why they only gave him nine carries when he looked good.
9:27Like, I wasn't the biggest Ali Gordon guy. I got some shares, but that was that necessity when he went for like 200 or so.
9:35But he was looking good in that game. And you only give this guy nine shares?
9:40I mean, nine carries? They didn't have the ball much, Matt.
9:44Yeah, that was part of it. Another ugly game, like you said, Matt.
9:48You know, you were talking about ugly games, ugly football.
9:51The 4 o'clock games. I mean, the Chiefs-Raiders game picked up second half.
9:56But just ugly slow games. That Denver-San Francisco game was trash.
9:59It's ugly football right now. It's not much fun watching football on Sundays right now.
10:04But go ahead, Dan. All right. So, anyway, we got that out of the way.
10:09You know, a few other kind of quick hitter ones.
10:12I think the Jaguars' defense is too good. No doubt that Trevor Lawrence and the receivers are suffering from that.
10:18They just don't have to go out there and extend themselves.
10:22And I think, speaking of defenses that are really good, is it possible that the Falcons' defense is just better than we thought?
10:29I mean, I didn't think they were going to be much going into this year, but they seem to be.
10:36Stay on the Falcons' defense, Dan. And nobody was talking about them.
10:40But going into last night, I believe they were top five in pressures.
10:44Again, week one, they really could have beat the Steelers, even with that horrible quarterback they had at the helm.
10:50So, they have no secondary. You know, AJ Terrell is on IR and stuff.
10:55Yeah, they got a good front seven for sure.
10:58So, looks like Yolo Jameis might be back. That's great for my neighbor's shares for sure.
11:03And I'm going to say this next one 100 times.
11:06Well, not really on this show, but after we get off the show, I'll say it 99 more times.
11:12I promise you. I will stop fading Kyron Williams, for God's sake.
11:16Just stop, Dan. Stop. George Pickens. I think he's the designer version of Jamison Williams.
11:21Go ahead. Roast me. And I am an idiot for not playing TJ Hawkinson everywhere this past week.
11:27And finally, I hope for Taylor Swift's sake that Kelsey has more staying power in the bedroom than on the football field
11:34because he's looking like nothing the past couple weeks.
11:37Can we back up to two of the players you mentioned?
11:41Kyron Williams, I'm 100% on board with your take.
11:43I was dead wrong. I mean, I do think Blake Corum is talented and had the opportunity.
11:49Kyron is a baller. He looks fantastic. It's one of the better picks in the draft.
11:54Where was he going? Like, you know, mid-fourth round?
11:57What you got from there? And Pickens, I'm still holding out hope.
12:01I mean, this week was a disaster. 21 to 3 in targets.
12:05Before this week, though, they were 25 targets apiece.
12:08Yes, CD got the touchdowns before we entered week four.
12:11But Pickens still basically has the same target share.
12:14I don't know how it is after week four, but it was basically the same as last year.
12:20So I think the Cowboys' defense, you know, look at who they played, and they're still like worse than defensive EPA, whatever the hell it is.
12:28So I think better days are ahead. Maybe that's me just being the optimist, but I do think there are better days ahead.
12:36Well, I mean, Dan just hit on a couple of my points, my observations.
12:40And, Matt, I'll take that Pickens point into my first observation, which is C.D.
12:45Lambert's George Pickens debate in the summertime, especially late August, was never really a debate.
12:49C.D. Lamb is the alpha. George Pickens is right now.
12:53I'm not burying him. I don't want to put him in Jameson Williams territory like Dan is saying.
12:58I think this Thursday, starting this Thursday, George Pickens is going to go have that 25-point game.
13:04But I guess, Dan, in a way, you're right.
13:07If, you know, you want to compare him to Jamo, where he's a one out of every four weeks, shows up with
13:14a big game, that might be him. And you didn't pay that.
13:18You know, you didn't sign up for a late second-round pick to get one out of every four weeks.
13:24You wanted it, you know, to be like a 55-45, you know, split between him and Lamb.
13:29But it's looking like a 75-25, where it's Amon Ra and Jamo, you know.
13:34So I don't – I see it, I guess, similarly to that.
13:38But Pickens is going seven for 125 and a touchdown versus Tampa on Thursday.
13:42You could book that. Get the ladders out. Get the ladders out.
13:46Exactly, Matt. Next one is another thing you just touched on.
13:50TJ Hawkinson. What year is it? What is going on over here?
13:54This is ridiculous. Nobody drafted TJ Hawkinson. Time out.
13:57One person was in on Hawkinson, the Greek. You got to give the Greek his props on that one.
14:03He was the TJ Hawkinson truther. I was in on Hawkinson, but I wasn't necessarily in on Hawkinson.
14:09I mean, when we say in, what do we do?
14:12What are we saying when we say in and everybody was maybe taking him in the 19th round?
14:18Well, then he just drafted him. Yeah, well, I mean, take him away.
14:22All I know is I was in a lot of drafts with him, and I know he drafted him a lot.
14:29I don't know exactly where he was taking him.
14:32I was not. Five percent Hawkinson. All right. Listen, I know going through waivers last night, starting to get them ready.
14:38He's available in a lot of my big leagues still heading into this week.
14:43He'll be a big ad. And, you know, I don't think he was widely started this past week.
14:49But regardless, if you did, if you were lucky enough to start him, you cashed in big time.
14:5413 catches on 13 targets for 120 yards. He got all the action that all of us Jordan Addison, you know, owners
15:02were putting in our lineups this week and hoping for that big game in the Justin Jefferson replacement.
15:07The Vikings go from, you know, they have another game here this upcoming week.
15:12We'll see if they rest Justin Jefferson before their bye week.
15:15And now that'll be a disaster and it'll be a huge start for TJ Hawkinson.
15:20But I did mention that last week. With what?
15:23About Jefferson possibly being out till after the bye.
15:26Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, you see it all the time with, you know, a lot of these players.
15:32But the waiver wire this week at the tight end position is probably going to be the main focus.
15:38Like last week was the running backs with Kendra Miller, Ollie Gordon, Jalen Wright.
15:43It was like the running back week. You know, you're going to have Chig Okonkwo now coming back with Jaden Daniels as quarterback.
15:50Chig came back obviously on Sunday. But maybe Terry misses another week.
15:54They're a little banged up. So maybe Chig starts becoming a nice pick off of waivers.
15:59Tyler Higbee for the Rams with all the tight ends falling by the wayside over there.
16:05He had a nice game. And then I don't want to get off the tight end topic here without talking about a
16:12guy that I think, I mean, he was basically undrafted in every draft except for that last couple of days because of the Bowers injury.
16:20But we have to start realizing that Michael Mayer here could be a potential top 10 tight end this year.
16:26And that's even with Bowers being healthy. Okay. This Raiders offense, everybody was trying to pick between it was a Jalen Naylor.
16:33Is it Trey Tucker? Is it who's going to be that receiver?
16:37That's worth a shit. And it just might be the Bowers and Mayer show at the tight end position.
16:43And a lot of the Patriots back in the day with Gronk and Hernandez.
16:48Mayer's not going anywhere and he's a big part of this offense.
16:52So tight ends are going to be pretty popular this week.
16:55Next observation, kickers are people too. We got to stop ignoring it, guys.
17:00This is becoming a weekly thing. It's crazy. When you look through your lineups, guys, and you see that 15 to 20
17:07points in that kicker spot, and these guys are pretty consistent, the Giants kicker, I want to just mention him, the Giants
17:14kicker, I feel like every week is kicking three, four field goals.
17:18But you got the Colts, you got the Jaguars, the Texans with Fairbairn, and the Vikings with Riker.
17:23These guys are pumping out field goals every week.
17:26It's just offenses that seem to be bogged down and they're getting three, four field goals.
17:31So, you know. I thought it was weird, the Colts kicker.
17:35I don't know so much in NFFC, I did get some, but FFPC, I got him everywhere.
17:41And I was only putting like a dollar or two.
17:44And I thought he would be more widely. Yeah, I wasn't a popular kicker to draft, Matt.
17:49That's why, you know, and you got him off the waiver wire.
17:53And then the first couple of weeks happened and should have been someone that people picked up.
17:59You know, he's a dome kicker. He's an offense that could get bogged down, you know, in the red zone.
18:05So, every year we see two or three kickers, right, that just are like every week 15, 17 points, like a Jason Myers from last year.
18:14Could be the Colts guy or the Giants with the Zavada or whatever his name is.
18:19Defenses are absolute trash this year in fantasy, to flip it to the defensive side.
18:24Dan, I know you just talked about the Jags and the Falcons.
18:27But defense, I've never seen it so useless in fantasy than it is this year.
18:32The Saints, the Lions, the Cowboys, the Panthers, Green Bay, Bears, Arizona.
18:36These are all funnel defenses. Absolute trash. But even the elite ones aren't stepping up.
18:41The Rams, the Texans, the Broncos. These are the top three.
18:45The Eagles, everybody loved. All three of these defenses, I see them dropped.
18:49Not the Texans, but I've seen the Broncos drop.
18:52I have the Rams available now on a bunch of weeks.
18:55Imagine that. People were drafting the Rams D, the Broncos D as the first and second Ds off the board.
19:02And now Sertan is out probably for a few weeks.
19:05Aaron Donald and Garrett are out for the Rams.
19:08If you went in on an early defensive pick this year, you know, right now it sucks for you.
19:14Real quick on the Texans, though. I gave them a little bit of a pass.
19:19You had the Bills, the Bengals, and the Cowboys.
19:22Sure. But as an elite defense, if they're an elite defense, though, you've got to make a stop at the end of
19:29the game versus, you know, the Bills. I mean, I don't know how.
19:33That defense on C.D. Lamb was so soft. It was great.
19:37Nobody would get it on this guy. Yeah. Yeah.
19:39I mean, listen, better days ahead starting hopefully this week versus the Titans.
19:44But it's been a bad run out for the Texans D this first couple of weeks.
19:49Moving on to what's going on with Dalton Kincaid.
19:52I should have tied this into my tight end talk, but I want my league winning tight end back.
19:58I miss him. I don't know what the hell is going on in Bills land there, Matt.
20:03But the first couple of weeks we were static thinking that Kincaid was going to make a run at a top three tight end year here.
20:12And he's starting to disappear. But maybe with this D.J.
20:15Moore injury again, you know, maybe it's Kincaid time coming up.
20:19It's not a coincidence, Chris, being that you mentioned Kincaid.
20:22First two weeks, Josh Allen was humming, looking great.
20:25Now he's got, what, three catches in two games.
20:28The Bills offense has struggled. They're making mistakes. Like, all Allen had to do was get a field goal at the end of the game.
20:36They had three timeouts, plenty of time. And he's throwing a hero ball and double coverage.
20:41For what reason? I have no idea. But that's another story.
20:44Yeah, I mean, listen, it just seems like a lot of my lineups and I'm not sure any people that are listening
20:52in all our lineups are just catching too many of these two-point games, three-point game, four-point games from two or three guys in our lineups.
21:00It's not allowing us to get over that 130 points in a week, you know, when you got too many grenades in your lineup like a Kincaid.
21:08D.J. Moore. D.J. Moore, Goff. Lad McConkie people played.
21:11You know, obviously this week got a bagel. So, Rasheed Rice took a bagel.
21:16I mean, you look through lineups this week. I'm shocked that the scores were as high as a lot of were in
21:23my leagues because, I mean, and I'm sure it was the Lamb owner and the Tett McMillan and so on.
21:29But the quarterback position as a whole was absolute garbage this week.
21:33And, you know. You said 130. I was like, getting to 100 was.
21:37Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no, Matt. I have a bunch of 90s.
21:41Yeah, I had a bunch of 90s. I was like, okay.
21:45Yeah. But it's crazy. When you look through your league scores today or yesterday, right, you see guys that had the 175, the 1A.
21:52I'm like, who are these people? What are they doing?
21:56What do they got? Because they got Kenneth Walker and T.D.
21:59Lamb at the turn. Yeah, I got some of those last week.
22:03I got, I got, I had a team that had 200 and I had a team that had 70.
22:09So, yeah. I mean, just all over the map.
22:12It's all over the map. All right. I'm going to turn it over to you guys.
22:17The last observation is it's time for, you know, Puka and Nico teams to start rising to the top of standings coming up here.
22:25It's been a rough ride, obviously, in September, but I expect these guys to be top five fantasy wide receivers on a weekly basis starting now.
22:33Definitely. Definitely. Mike Sanda says, does Hawkinson turn back into a pumpkin when Jefferson returns?
22:38Yeah, probably. You know, I don't know about that.
22:41But Tyler, I think Addison's more likely to turn into a pumpkin than Hawkinson, to be honest.
22:47I just, one of the takeaways is I just think, look, I know they don't have Jefferson, but I just think Kyler's garbage.
22:54I'm sorry. He's got to show me something. He looked like garbage this past.
22:59He looked like garbage. He looked better in the fourth quarter when he started pumping them down to Hawkinson all the time.
23:06You know, and the, you know, Dolphins defense just looked helpless to stop it.
23:10Hawkinson should have gone in for a score, you know, but he did the right thing.
23:15He did the thing, you know, the team thing for his NFL team rather than for our fantasy teams and sat down at the one yard line.
23:24But, yeah, I think what you're probably looking at here is Kyler relentlessly targeted Trey McBride along with, you know, whoever his number one wide receiver was.
23:33And I think it's likely to go that way again.
23:36I'm afraid that it's Addison who gets shut out here, which I hope doesn't happen.
23:41But I don't want to keep giving. I don't want to keep giving Kyler a pass each week like I have, even though I know.
23:49Yeah, he was hurt. But, you know, without seeing everybody out on the field together, like, you know, without having his elite
23:56wide receiver one in Jefferson, you really can't judge right now.
24:00Does he look great? No, he looks, you know, people are cutting him.
24:04But when he has his whole offense back together, you know, let's wait and see, you know, if he's fantasy relevant, you know.
24:11Yeah, and, you know, and again, keep in mind that Kevin O'Connell and Kyler are kind of a square peg round hole situation, you know.
24:19It's like they are fitting together two very, very different styles.
24:23And I think there's a little bit of that going on, too, where, you know, they're trying to figure out what really
24:30works, you know, what Kyler is comfortable with, you know, and trying to design the offense basically on the fly.
24:36And then doing that with, you know, Kyler missing basically two games, Justin Jefferson missing a game already, you know.
24:43So it's a tough deal. But that just tells you that until we get to, you know, until we get after the
24:50bye week, you know, I would not have high expectations for the Vikings even playing New Orleans crappy defense.
24:56I mean, that division to me in real life is not as good as I thought it would be this year.
25:03Fantasy-wise, it's probably going to be really good with the Lions and the Packers and the Bears when they get Caleb back and stuff.
25:11And we'll see about the Vikings offense. We know they've got a good defense.
25:15I'm still suspect on the team as a whole.
25:18But, you know, they're 4-0. Racking up wins early usually helps you late.
25:22Yeah, for sure. And it's a bad run out for us Jefferson owners because, you know, if he sits this week, you're
25:29missing the Miami game versus shit defense that he would have carved up.
25:34That would have no answers for him. And then a Saints defense here, you know.
25:38And he missed, you know, he went out in the first quarter versus Tampa's secondary, which is a sieve.
25:45So, you know, it's not like you're up against, like, a tough defense and you miss the game.
25:50You know, there's just certain spots in fantasy that you don't want to miss.
25:55And it's just a bad run out. And this is it for, you know, the Vikings and Jefferson if he misses another week here.
26:03Yeah, Jefferson owners, the best thing we got going for us is the fact that he's from Louisiana, New Orleans guy.
26:09And so I'm sure his incentive to want to play will be high.
26:14But, you know, with the Vikings sitting at 4-0 and they got one more week before the bye, you know, they may
26:21just tell him, you know what, you just got to sit.
26:24But, yeah, that homecoming theme, I was kind of thinking Watson was going to go off to Tampa Bay.
26:30I got four people coming. I'm going home. And you guys is like first kind of dud of the year.
26:37Yep. Jordan Law. Kicker talk in the chat, man.
26:40You see the kicker talk in the chat. Yeah, I mean that.
26:44There you go. Kickers are people too, guys. That's it.
26:47That's right. That's right. Good to be on the straighter bandwagon before everybody else.
26:52Good kicker. Yeah, good kicker. Let's roll. All right.
26:54We're going to take a quick break here. We will be right back.
26:59Ooh, trade just came out on my phone. Let's see.
27:02Should I make it? I don't know. I want to make a move now, though.
27:07I don't want to wait to get back to my computer.
27:10What do I do? Oh, we have the Dynasty Dominator app that scores a trade based on our lifetime value rating at playerprofiler.com.
27:18We also give you just a price lookup tool with the ADP to say, what is this guy really worth?
27:24And the app has a player comparison tool to juxtapose the advanced metrics of two players.
27:29This is $5 in the app store. That's it.
27:32So we want you to do deep research on playerprofiler.com, but we also want you to be able to make moves in the moment.
27:40So go get that Dynasty Dominator now. It's in the app store.
27:44It's on Google Play. And you can thank me later.
27:47Hey, Chris, what did the guy say before? You were reading that tweet.
27:51We thought that Blake Corum would be Brian Robinson.
27:54Was that who you were saying? Yeah. Yes. You wonder who I think we thought?
27:59At least I thought Corum would be Kyle Monty.
28:02That's so great. You know what? It's so funny because I was just going to say when we wanted to talk about
28:09that person's comment when we came out of the break.
28:12And Matt, you hit it. So, yeah, you're right.
28:15Right there. Yeah. Menungay, it's true. Matt, you know, I agree.
28:19Menungay might actually be this year's Corum that we all wanted.
28:22Yeah. And as far as the lottery ticket, Brian Robinson's running away with it.
28:27I mean, I don't think he's starting him. But yeah, but guys, you got to remember, right?
28:32Menungay was hurt all summer and then started getting back at the end of summer.
28:37Like, you know, I think he was going into week one's practice when he came back, you know, into the fold a
28:44little bit because he was starting to become like a forgotten guy.
28:48Remember, people were drafting Roshon Johnson again because we thought that it would be Menungay might miss some time in the regular season.
28:56So he was kind of forgotten about, but he got healthy right before the season.
29:00And now what's going to happen going forward? I knew we were going to talk about this later with Swift and everything.
29:08But now you see the pictures of Menungay's thumb, like basically turned backwards.
29:12And who knows, you know, tomorrow, you know, when these guys get back to practice, Menungay could do a Jordan Mason and
29:19get placed on IR out of nowhere, you know, because they're saying it was kind of similar to the Jordan Mason injury.
29:26So if he is healthy and something, you know, I don't know with that finger, if they popped it back in and he's going to be fine.
29:35DeAndre Swift owners like myself, we all have to panic because it's the Menungay takeover here.
29:40They're going to be in a 50-50 split at best.
29:43But I mean, that was something I mean, at least I know I was touching on it in the summer is if
29:50you look last year and you look at just Ben Johnson in general, he's always used to running backs.
29:56The goal line touches and the red zone touches last year were almost identical.
30:01They were very similar. So regardless, even if Menungay, say, took a lead over Swift, Swift will still be involved heavily.
30:08I don't know if it was the fumble or he had that knee soreness on Thursday or a combination of all that.
30:15But, you know, I think the Bears run game is just proven to be where it might hurt the Bears throwing game this year.
30:23Unless Caleb just wants to, you know, go hog wild and just, you know.
30:27And another terrible run out for Swift. He scores twice in a row on two runs early in the first.
30:33You think you're off to a good time. They both get reversed and returned.
30:38If you remember the week before, he fumbled on the one yard line again.
30:43But he had another touchdown called back. So it's been frustrating to tell to be a Swift owner.
30:48That was like Tootin this week had two touchdowns taken off the board.
30:53Yeah. Yeah. We're going to answer this one, guys, real quick with the handcuffs.
30:57Quick answer, I think, is basically, you know, if you're looking for stand-alone value, good luck with that.
31:03And other than that, it just matters on if the primary running back gets hurt or not, you know.
31:09So I don't know how you really rank them necessarily.
31:12How I would rank them is if I said the primary was hurt on all three teams.
31:18Right. I would go Emmitt, Kalon, and then Washington.
31:21Exactly. That's how I would answer that as well.
31:24I'm surprised. I'll say this much. I'm surprised that Emmitt Johnson isn't getting a little bit of the pie, like, you know, in Kansas City.
31:32He was looking so good. What was it? Week one?
31:35You know, that I thought he would have somewhat of a role, like a Bryan Robinson role, you know.
31:41But it doesn't look that way. You know, it's all Ken Walker.
31:45And, you know, for Ken Walker owners, it's a toy.
31:48By the way, how bad of a move is that by Seattle?
31:52They had the money. They gave it to Rashid Shahid instead of Ken Walker, who probably would have just had the same
31:59role this year as he had last year and robbed us of his greatness.
32:04But it was just a horrible decision. And you're not even, like, using Shahid as a receiver.
32:09You're not even getting, like, targets. Yeah. I think us fantasy gamers need to get our funds together and send a big
32:16bouquet of flowers to the Seattle front office. They, what do you call it?
32:21And now they're running back. Room is a complete shit show.
32:24When you got to sign Joe Mixon. And Joe Mixon ends up, by the way, on the practice squad.
32:30And then they signed, what's the guy out of Washington?
32:34Somebody Henry? Chris Henry? Something like that? No, not Chris Henry.
32:37No, it's definitely not Chris Henry. Definitely not him.
32:40Last from the past there. But anyway, that's the guy who ends up on the active roster.
32:46That's why I said it's definitely not Chris Henry.
32:49I'm about to make light of the situation. Yeah, I'm about to make light of the situation.
32:54My bad. Anyway. Let's start the season review here.
32:57We're four weeks in. You know, we've been saying all along, four weeks is kind of the natural place to really start.
33:04Looking at your season, how it's going, how it's, you know, what did you get right?
33:09What did you get wrong? All that kind of stuff.
33:12So let's go through. We'll each talk about what we got right.
33:16And we'll go through again what we got wrong.
33:19And one more time to talk about our portfolio.
33:22So Chris, go ahead and take it. What did I get right?
33:26Not much. But, well, through four weeks. But I think that to answer this question, it's what I avoided.
33:32You know, when we say, what did I get right?
33:35Well, my fades were pretty accurate. You know, I don't have, I didn't draft A-Chan, even though he got hurt.
33:42You know, no Barkley. I think maybe one share.
33:45Montgomery, I was completely off of. Rasheed Rice, no shares.
33:48So it's, you know, that's really what I got right.
33:51Sure, I have, you know, the players, the Zay Flowers, the Amon Ra.
33:55I was right on that. You know, stuff like that.
33:59But as a total roster, when you try and go in on, when you realize who you're going to be out on
34:06completely, I think that was the one thing I could say I was right on for the most part so far.
34:13Even, this is going to sound crazy and it'll look bad going forward, but, you know, I was a complete fate of Puka.
34:20I didn't want any Puka. And, you know, because I was worried about all these injuries, nagging injuries coming into the season.
34:27You know, especially as a top five pick, I'll say.
34:30You know, when you come in with these many question marks and you're a top five pick, I'm going elsewhere.
34:37So, you know, you haven't had him for three weeks of the season pretty much.
34:42It was not playable. You didn't play him after you saw him in week one for, I think, his nine points or whatever.
34:49And then he got hurt and sat out. Now it looks great, but, and it probably will going forward.
34:55No Josh Jacobs. I avoided that situation. Didn't want any part of it.
34:59And no A.J. Brown shares. That also hurt. And no Abuka shares.
35:03So, you know, a lot of guys that I was completely out on and don't have more than one share.
35:10I think that's what I could say right now.
35:13I'm right on. Okay. For me, I just put three things I got right.
35:17One was Kenneth Walker. You know, from the live streams, I was saying I thought he should be a one-turn pick at worst.
35:25I thought, I probably sold him short, that he would have like a similar line to Kareem Hunt's rookie year.
35:31Because this is the first time, you know, the Chiefs and Andy Reid have had a dynamic running back in years.
35:38Instead of these plotters. Zay Flowers, another guy I was consistently saying on the live streams was this year's JSN.
35:44My reasoning was because of lack of wide receiver depth on that team or anybody who threatened him as the one.
35:51And the target share, as we saw last year with JSN, how he emerged there.
35:56But it was a caveat with a healthy Lamar.
35:59And once again, we don't know if Lamar is healthy.
36:02So hopefully this is not a major injury to Lamar.
36:05Last was Parker Washington. I know this week it was a dud from PW.
36:10What happened this week? Man, crazy, right? Yeah. A lot of receivers I thought that were going to crush did not this week.
36:17But, you know, he's been a guy I drafted aggressively.
36:21So that, I hope, will continue to work out.
36:23Yeah. Dan? Yeah, I felt like I did pretty well on drafts this year.
36:28One thing I really tried to focus on is using different builds rather than getting stuck in ruts.
36:34You know, where it's like, oh, well, it's, you know, round six.
36:38It's time to, you know, draft a wide receiver.
36:41Time to draft a running back or whatever. You know, I was trying to intentionally find different ways to build.
36:47Like every couple, three drafts, I tried to switch it up.
36:51And that seems to have worked out good because it kept me from locking in probably on a couple players I shouldn't have.
36:58And it got me on a couple players that, you know, I might not have otherwise.
37:03So the one thing that I did do was I pretty consistently avoided wide receivers in the fifth and sixth round in NFC.
37:11And that ended up being the right move. I just, I didn't really, I couldn't find wide receivers I was liking.
37:17And I could find players from all the other positions I did like.
37:22So it just made sense for me there that I was like, okay, well, I am trying to vary my builds, but
37:29I'm going to mostly avoid wide receivers here. And then, you know, other than that, it's just basically, you know, I tried
37:36to focus mostly on high powered offenses and fantasy carnivals, you know, the Saints, the Cowboys, the Bengals, you know, teams that
37:43I felt like were going to have terrible defenses and pretty good offenses.
37:47Fading the Chargers. I thought they were mostly overpriced.
37:50I mean, I wasn't really fading them just because, you know, I was like, I wasn't out on them, but it was
37:57just like they were going for more than I wanted to pay.
38:01Colts receivers, same thing. I just, I was nervous about Daniel Jones.
38:05Didn't like to buy into, you know, like, especially with Alec Pierce, you know, I wasn't buying that at all because you've
38:12got Alec Pierce who's got his injury problems. And then Daniel Jones coming back from an Achilles.
38:18I just, I didn't see how that was going to work.
38:21So those were the kind of things I tried to do for the most part.
38:26And then I guess the last thing, I tried to smash upside options in the second half of drafts and pass on
38:33the productive vets a little bit more often. And that's had kind of mixed results, but I got a lot of Boston.
38:40I got a lot of Coker. I got some A.D.
38:43Mitchell. I tried to avoid the Keenan Allens, the Sheeds, the Shakirs, the Judys.
38:48The problem is I also avoided Devon Vele, but, you know, that's the way it goes.
38:53All right. All right. Not what we got wrong.
38:56Oh, boy. Dan, just before we move on to the run, the last part that I didn't say with what we got
39:03right, and you just mentioned it with targeting offenses, a big part of my draft plan was to get as many NFC
39:10North players on my rosters as possible. So, you know, right now I think that's going to, it looks good, and I
39:17think it's going to get better once Caleb is back.
39:21But, you know, having a big collection of Lions, Bears, and Packers, right, with a lot of Jefferson and Jordan Mason when
39:28he gets back, I want to be involved in the NFC North games.
39:32You know, whether they're playing each other or even if they're playing someone else, that was, you know, a major focus of
39:39mine that I just thought the whole division was going to be, you know, shit defenses and high-scoring games.
39:45And they're part of the problem in the NFL right now with fantasy, and not part of the problem, but part of
39:52the problem in terms of bad defenses across the league.
39:55So that's a good point. That's a good point, Chris.
39:59And for this, I went into the, you know, did the same thing, but also another division I was really buying into
40:06was the NFC South because you had Atlanta, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay.
40:10True, you can say the same thing about the South.
40:13At the end of the season. Like, Carolina is the one oddball.
40:17They're not playing any other NFC South teams at the end of the season, you know, during the sprint.
40:23But the other three teams are all playing each other during the sprint twice.
40:28And then the games that don't fit within that, it's Washington, Arizona, and the Rams.
40:33So it's like eight of these games should be high-scoring games, I think.
40:37So I try to buy into them a lot.
40:40It will be week 17, as you mentioned, the NFC South and the North.
40:44Yeah. The Bears are home versus the Lions, so it's an outdoor game, so we don't know what's going on with the weather.
40:52And then is it the Saints and Falcons again in week 17?
40:56So, you know, those – Yeah. That game could decide an overall right there.
41:00Indoors, you can get that shootout. Outdoors, you wouldn't be getting snow or wind and all that crap.
41:06So that would be interesting. Yeah. I mean, hopefully that Bears-Lions game down the road is like, you know, when you wake
41:13up one of those days and there's like five-mile-an-hour wind and it's like 25 degrees and you're like, thank God.
41:19You know, like that's the positive. Like you take that, just the cold weather.
41:24I remember last year, if you guys remember, didn't the Lions go in there and drop like 40 in late December?
41:31Like something, a big number. They scored a lot.
41:34I believe Amara had a really good game. Yeah.
41:37Yep. So, you know, sometimes we overthink these things, but it's, you know, it's a valid point.
41:42So, all right. What are we jumping on to?
41:45What we got wrong? Yes. I might take up the rest of the show here, guys.
41:50Yeah, I was going to say, Chris, we've only got like an hour left.
41:55Yeah. Listen, it's been a bumpy road. I'm not going to lie about it.
41:59There's a lot of things that I'm not happy with right now.
42:03I think a lot of it's due to injuries and a lot of my team's being banged up.
42:09But I see, you know, a little bit of the light at the end of the tunnel.
42:14I think I'm definitely not throwing in towels here.
42:17But let's start off with being all in on those round four running backs of Brees Hall, DeAndre Swift, and Travis Etienne
42:24is like a centerpiece of, I wanted to try and have two running backs before the fifth round ended, you know.
42:31And those were my targets, whether it was as my second running back in round four after hitting an elite bell cow
42:38in rounds one or two, and coming back with one of these three running backs, or starting off with three big wide
42:45receivers, and then starting off my running back room with one of these threes.
42:50Well, Brees Hall is hurt. Travis Etienne is hurt.
42:53DeAndre Swift is, eh. He's had some good games, and he's fumbled, and it doesn't look great for what's ahead now that Monongai is in the mix.
43:02But it's not even so much those three missing on right now.
43:05It's the fact of passing on the Williams brothers, and the damage that Kyron Williams and Javante Williams are doing in that
43:13range, and fading those two for the other three.
43:15So that's my biggest regret and miss. I was completely out on the two Williams running backs, as I know a lot of other people were.
43:24You know, the fantasy community in a whole, and I hate it.
43:28When I look back now here in early October, I kick myself because it was so much group think, and I'm so
43:35the opposite of it usually in drafts, and the way I like to build my teams and think and roster.
43:41Yeah, but people were in on Javante. He was going late second round.
43:46Matt, he was in the last, like, ten days once, you know, the Jaden Blue got cut, and Malik Davis, her.
43:52The Malik Davis injury was devastating. So once that all happened, then if you remember the last week, Javante went from being
43:59a fourth rounder to a third rounder to, you know, like an early third rounder.
44:04So, you know, people moved him up big time.
44:07But, you know, a lot of August and July, Javante was living in the fourth round.
44:12So Kyron, nobody wanted. Everybody was – we were all in love with Blake Corum, how – every draft, who could get their hands on Blake Corum.
44:21Kyron Williams is a stud. So all the teams that you looked at in late August and September and were like, ah, I'm not worried about this team.
44:30You know, his running back room is Kyron Williams or whatever.
44:34They're the teams that are leading right now. Here's an uncomfortable question for you, Chris.
44:39Yeah. Is it too many live stream drafts where it was turned into a lot of, you know, everybody kind of seeing the same thing?
44:47You know, it's like reinforcing things a lot. It's not a bad question, Dan.
44:51It's just I felt this way before even. Like, you know, you know what I hate?
44:56When I put my thoughts together for the upcoming draft season, and then it seems like when the shows start, the pods,
45:03the shows, the live streams, everyone's agreeing with me.
45:06And then I'm wrong. And they're wrong too. You know, it's – does that make sense to you guys?
45:12You know what I mean? I think you had to be excited about Blake Corum.
45:17If you're a fan of football, you saw his run out at the end of last year.
45:23It just – he didn't – even the first couple of weeks, like that giant game.
45:28He's got 20 carries. He gets 150 yards that game.
45:31In my mind, no question about that. It's just Kyron is dominating the goal line work before this past week.
45:38And he's just, like, picking up more steam and I have to get – And he's getting all these little catches when he has this big tent.
45:46Yeah. It's just – he's the biggest regret I have on being out probably on anybody.
45:52Like, that move between taking Kyron versus Montgomery, who I thought would be a volume monster.
45:57I thought Montgomery was the guy that was going to be the volume monster.
46:01And, you know, it's like that in, you know, fantasy baseball.
46:05I don't know if it was Rob Silver that one year.
46:08He won the baseball thing. I think he had, like, Kluber and – who was the – I can't remember his name anymore.
46:16The Dark Knight of the Mets. Like, side by side.
46:19And he went with Kluber instead of the other guy.
46:22The other guy sucked. Kluber went to Cy Young.
46:25I faded Williams and I went with Monty. And that's been a horrible decision.
46:30That's like – that is something you can see that's actionable.
46:33Yeah. I mean, so – Things can change, though.
46:36It's still only – The allure of Corum is you were getting the running back, like, lottery ticket.
46:42You know, like we all call it. And it was, like, costing people a seventh-round pick.
46:47But you didn't have to pay a second, third, or fourth-round pick to get a guy that you could see in an offense.
46:55If the starter went down, or even if he didn't, you're in a 60-40 committee and he could be like what Brian
47:02Robinson's probably doing right now on a weekly basis, giving you 15 points or something like that.
47:07But it's been a complete disaster. It really has been.
47:10And Kyron is, you know, an elite top six, seven running back, you know.
47:15And Corum is useless right now. Yeah. They weren't throwing to the running backs at all the past couple years.
47:21And then now, all of a sudden, they're throwing to Kyron, but not to Corum.
47:26And, you know, Kyron's getting all the goal line work, not Corum.
47:30You know, so it's – we thought we were getting a handcuff that had some standalone value, obviously, with Corum.
47:37And he just doesn't really have enough standalone value that you can feel good about starting him at all.
47:43Yeah. That was the one surprising thing I didn't get.
47:46I thought Corum would get the goal line work or at least have a share of that.
47:51I mean, look, if Corum – if he was the only running back there, I think he'd have a shot at maybe having a rushing title.
48:00I think he has upside to that level. I think he's a really good running back.
48:05You know, but it – you have to admit when you're wrong and some people like to double down and, you know, they're – no, no, no.
48:14If I'm wrong and you have enough evidence to see what your odds or how the game plans are playing out, you
48:21just got to say, hey, I effed up, take the L, and move on.
48:25Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and in that Corum range, there was a lot of misses at the running back position.
48:32The one thing that's saving me is the fact that I had Jalen Warren really high on a lot of – in that range.
48:40So a lot of the teams that Jalen Warren is on are my good teams right now that I don't need to rely on.
48:47I don't need to rely on these other running backs like a Corum and keep them on my bench and hope for the lotto ticket.
48:55But, you know, it's picks like that, guys, that if you – you know, with going into week five, there's only so
49:03long – like if Kyron goes down in week 10 and Corum comes into your lineup and you're like, finally, here I go.
49:10I got a league-winning pick. You might be in 11th place, you know, with picks like this.
49:15You know? So we'll see. We'll see. But that's definitely my biggest regret is the whole mid-round running backs and fading the Williams guys over those three.
49:24Another major miss. It's a miss. Let me put it that way.
49:28Chris, before you move on – What? Before you move on, you're regretting that miss.
49:33But like you stated previously, things you got right.
49:36The Barkley you didn't take. The A-Chen you didn't take.
49:39You know? So, I mean, it's a give and take.
49:42You know? So, I mean, I'd rather be right on the first round, guys.
49:47Yeah. Or the second. Which leads me to my next miss, Matt.
49:51Might be, you know, my love for Amari and Hampton and Ashton Gentty.
49:55These two guys I had highly, highly ranked. Gentty's been okay.
49:58I'm not going to say Gentty's – you know, Gentty's given the points.
50:03The situation is – Sunday was encouraging, though. The six receptions.
50:06Yeah. That's what we need. Yeah. Listen, he's getting the 15 points, the 14, the 17.
50:11You know, it's not like, oh, my God. I'm way more concerned about Hampton than I am Gentty.
50:17But the follow-up to this was, you know, loving Hampton and Gentty and making them the centerpiece of my running back room
50:24at the end of the first round, early second round, over Ken Walker every time.
50:29So that's, you know, another huge miss. Because when you look at all those teams and you just make that simple switch
50:36of having Walker instead of these guys, you know, you're looking at a 75-point difference and the difference between sitting in 10th
50:43place or second place right now, you know, early in the season.
50:47So major miss there so far with the running backs.
50:50Chargers offense as a whole and loving Justin Herbert as, you know, an elite quarterback, a top five guy in my rankings.
50:58Actually, I only have Ladd, unfortunately, in my 100K, which now he's going to miss time.
51:03Another guy, when you look at bye weeks, their bye week is week seven.
51:07They already said multiple weeks. You look at it, he gave you a zero in week four.
51:13He won't play in week five or six. His bye week is seven.
51:17It's a disaster wipeout season, Ladd McConkie owners. I really, you know, he's not on any of my other teams, but he
51:24wound up on the 100K team just because the tear dried out.
51:28And I didn't think he'd be a bust, but he wasn't one of my guys.
51:33So that's a huge regret. Let me hit these last two real quick.
51:37No JSN. I don't have any JSN that's going to be a colossal disaster this year.
51:42He's one of the guys you're going to need to win.
51:46Didn't have JSN because I love the Monra so much that I always took a Monra in the middle.
51:52And most of my picks were, you know, eight or nine to the back end, where I got a lot of Jefferson and Lamb.
52:00I don't mind having those guys. I still think they're going to be studs.
52:04Well, Lamb is a stud. Jefferson, I'd still think will be.
52:08But no JSN, and that's going to hurt. And lastly, like you said, Dan, the, you know, that mid-round wide receiver range,
52:15having a lot of Godwin and a lot of Marvin Harrison.
52:18These are two guys that went from being my wide receiver four, and sometimes even three in running back builds, to now being parked on my bench.
52:27So when you miss big on your round five pick and they have to go to the bench, you better sure as
52:34shit have some ammunition on your bench to come in to your lineup to make up for these mistakes.
52:40And, you know, you didn't get much help there either.
52:44It was Brian Thomas, Cortland Sutton, a bunch of other receivers that are giving you nothing right now.
52:49So that's a quick run-through of what I've gotten wrong, and I'll turn it over to you guys.
52:55Yeah, for me, I'll start with the wide receivers, and I'll keep it in that, like, end of second, early third range or mid-third range.
53:03George Pickens, as I stated before, up until probably week four, they had the same amount of targets.
53:09And I still think he's one of the most talented receivers in the league.
53:14Dallas, his defense is one of the worst. They're not the Lions, but they're one of the worst.
53:19So I think they're going to put points up continually, and Pickens, I'm still a big believer in.
53:25Ladd was a guy that I did like, and a guy that after week one, I was feeling pretty good.
53:32Ladd's problem is Ladd can't stay healthy. I mean, the guy just can't.
53:36He's like the offensive line of the Chargers. Again, they lost their center.
53:40Alt missed this week. Slater got hurt. It's like every year it's the same thing, and I keep getting involved.
53:47So that, and the last receiver I got to touch on is Neighbors.
53:51Good hope after this week people had him written off for dead.
53:55I kept saying sell him for anything. Penny's on the dollar.
53:58Like, you know, that's why you don't listen to, like, most of these fantasy people on Twitter.
54:04I'm sorry, but, you know, people are just morons.
54:07But very encouraged by this. The original thought before we got the positive news was he was probably not going to be the first four weeks.
54:15We're going to be nothing. So the first four weeks are over.
54:19We got one good one. So hopefully he's a bull going forward there.
54:23On the running back situation, we mentioned Kyron Williams, David Montgomery, and my love for Jonathan Brooks.
54:29And I stand by. If Brooks don't get hurt and had that pass-catching back role that I was hoping for with that
54:36team, what could have been, though I did scoop him up.
54:39I did go back Saturday night because I had to drop a lot of Ferguson and whoever else was hurt.
54:46And I scooped up some JB. I don't know.
54:49We'll see if I can hold that. All right, wait.
54:52I want to. I want to. That was my next question, Matt.
54:56So, you know, I wanted to touch real little on Brooks and how much he was widely dropped last week.
55:02And I was shocked by that. I dropped him.
55:05But I picked him. You dropped him and then picked him back up.
55:09Well, I had to cut Ferguson. Did you? Yeah.
55:12Yeah, he's out for a month. He's like 60% ownership in the prime time.
55:17So a lot of people dropped him. He's another one I can't get myself to drop.
55:22At least I can see a pathway for dropping Ferguson more than Brooks.
55:26You know, Steve G., the Greek, brought this up on your Janice Rossi show, the sister show, last week, that he was
55:33against Nelson and Hubbard dropping Brooks on a lot of their teams because obviously they have a lot of shares.
55:40I was shocked they did it. And I actually did what you did last week, last Wednesday, was pick up a bunch of Brooks shares on the teams.
55:49Like, I don't have, you know, I have them not a lot, but I added him last week.
55:55To me, putting him on your roster, now that he's already two weeks into his IR stint, and I know the diagnosis was what, six weeks?
56:03So now you're four weeks away from getting him back in an offense that is pointing up.
56:08You know, I'm looking at all my rosters, and I look at my running back seven as a Sam P.
56:15Ryan, you know, all these Claiborne's, all these pieces of shit that don't do anything.
56:20And, you know, we were just drafting this guy in the fifth, sixth, and early seventh round, Brooks, a couple weeks ago.
56:27Why not hold on for four weeks, let him come back?
56:30You never know if you look up in week 10, and now he's your RB7 parked on your bench, and Chuba gets nicked up.
56:38Or now Brooks comes back, he's finally over these injuries, and he's ready to, you know, contribute in like a 60-40 split.
56:45So to me, I was shocked by how much he got dropped, and I agree with you.
56:51It's worth picking up in a, you know, in a tournament.
56:54I did it too because, like I said, I had guys that had a drop that got hurt, and I was looking
57:01at everything that was out there Saturday night as I was doing the cleanup.
57:06I had a guy behind him who maybe I should have put ahead of him, and I won't mention it now.
57:13We can talk about that next week. But maybe I should have went that route.
57:18But I just figured, like you said, I'll see how long I can hold him, hopefully.
57:23I mean, there was some crazy-ass bids. Somebody bid 350 for him.
57:27That was nuts. No, that's wild. But you know what?
57:30I dropped him in a couple spots where I needed help.
57:33Yeah. And that's the problem, Matt, is what you just said.
57:37Like I picked him up on leagues and teams where you had like a roster spot or a drop, and you could put him on.
57:45But now you come into another week heading into week five fab, and more guys are banged up.
57:51And now you're like, oh, I got to make a drop.
57:54And when I go through my rosters, I'm like, well, who am I going to drop here?
58:00And he seems like the reasonable one because he's not around for another four weeks.
58:05So I think we are going to see a lot of Brooks going.
58:09You know, he's just going to get dropped a lot over the next couple, three weeks.
58:14At least for me this year, the one crazy thing, starting in week zero, that Wednesday night or the Wednesday night before
58:21the first game, or Tuesday this year, obviously, I went into Kobe Lane, Malik Davis.
58:26Malik Davis out for the year. Kobe Lane gets hurt week one.
58:30Looks like a good player. Taequan Thornton, I got to cut all this week.
58:34He's done for the year. But Pat Bryant, another guy I went in on.
58:39He's done for multiple weeks. Got to cut him.
58:42It's like I've had no luck on these guys that I wanted for him.
58:46And actually, I got Antonio Williams, and I'm fearing that kid should have crushed Sunday morning.
58:52Eight targets. He gets three. Touchdown taken off. But so that's just been the way it is.
58:57And I got more guys to drop so I can keep Brooks because I got a ton of Taequan and Pat Bryant to drop.
59:05Yeah. The silver lining. Listen, Fab's been really frustrating as well, guys.
59:09Like, you know, all my ETN shares, I always had Kendra Miller as my RB7, you know, on all those teams.
59:16And then Kamara came back, and I was like, what am I going to do with Kendra Miller?
59:21He's not even the backup. And dropped him, you know, two weeks ago on, like, all the teams.
59:27And then what happens? Of course, ETN goes down, and you're like, oh, my God, I'm an idiot.
59:33Now Kendra Miller, you know, could be useful. You go back in.
59:37You go pick him up, and you spend some money.
59:40And he does nothing. And he fumbles. And now it's, you know, there's another situation.
59:45I'm still not out. I think ETN's out for a while.
59:48And I don't see Kamara holding up. They just got dominated last night.
59:53Sure. Their offensive line. And Kendra fumbled, which did not help him.
59:57But he came back in the game. Yeah, he did.
60:00Kamara got hurt. Came back in the game. I don't see Kamara lasting.
60:04Not that Kendra can stay healthy neither, but I think it's worth a shot.
60:09You know. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, speaking of bouncing around, me and Keon Coleman have broken up and made up
60:16more times than I did with my junior high school girlfriend.
60:19The guy's been bouncing off and on my roster.
60:22Dan, did she break your heart? Tell us a little bit about this girl.
60:27What was her name? No. Did she stand you up for the prom or what happened here?
60:32No. I want to know. I think the people want to know about this love affair with this high school girl.
60:39Mid-Western. You never, in junior high, you know, or middle school, they call it now.
60:44You never had, you know, that those romances that, you know, like last for a month and you break up three times within that span.
60:52Yeah. You know, that's it. I hear you. Okay.
60:55Yeah. Well, I will say one thing about Keon.
60:58Protect the innocent. That's all I can say. He does, you know, he's looking like they're making him the guy.
61:04He is looking better. You know, I was telling my partner in crime on the other show, Paulie.
61:10He was really in on, I was like, I don't believe in Keon.
61:14I just don't. I've seen it happen week one of last year, but he looks like he's going to be the guy
61:21if Moore misses a couple of weeks. Yeah. And when, like what is going on, man?
61:26What a disaster this DJ Moore season is. After week one, we all thought, you know, whoever, when you had shares of
61:33him, you're like, oh my God, it's going to be a steal in round three.
61:38He's going to be like a wide receiver one with Allen.
61:42And now he's just, it's been a disaster. And I don't know what you do with this guy.
61:48I mean, if he plays, you got to stick him in your lineup, but that shoulder is, is going to be a problem all year long, probably.
61:56Yeah. And, and you're worried about neighbors, you know, Matt, I want to touch on neighbors.
62:02You know, he catches that sick catch down, you know, the 50 yard, you know, hail Mary, just throw it up there.
62:09And he runs right to the bench and he's holding his shoulder.
62:13You know, is this going to be a thing every time he gets hit where you're like, oh, is he done?
62:19Is he runs over to the sideline? Is he holding it?
62:23I think they're going to have to pop it back in all the time.
62:27You know, it's, it's scary. Every time he catches the ball, you hold your breath now.
62:33But man, the arrow is pointing up for neighbors now.
62:36You know, Jameis even said it at the end of his press conference.
62:40You know, he didn't feel like himself the last couple of weeks.
62:44He's starting to feel like the rhythm is back now.
62:47He's getting the strength back in his arm. He's saying you could just see it starting to come together a little bit
62:54versus Arizona, where, you know, it's not going to be pretty, but he's slinging it now.
62:59And, you know, that's what we want as neighbors owners.
63:03Another great matchup coming up with Washington. So hopefully now you start cashing in on these neighbor shares because it was, it was ugly for the first couple.
63:12Yeah, and I'm hoping, Chris, but I also could see the, the Jameis press conference next week where he's like, God, please.
63:19Yeah. Oh, sure. The experience is a rollercoaster, but I'm hope, I'm with you.
63:23I'm hoping for it. Yeah. Yep. Yep. All right.
63:26What else you got? Last, I mean, Justin Herbert, as Chris mentioned, the only reason I mentioned it is before I started
63:33drafting, I was like, yeah, Herbert MVP pick this year.
63:37I might even bet it. And then all I heard the month of June, he was, he was everybody's MVP pick.
63:43And that's when I should have jumped ship. What I've learned over the last few years.
63:49And I didn't heed the caution. The light was blinking.
63:52It was Jacksonville a few years ago. First it was Denver.
63:55Remember the Denver with Russell Wilson and those guys was Judy.
63:59And what's his name is still on the team.
64:02That was a disaster. Then it was Jacksonville. Everybody was, it was going to be Jacksonville.
64:07It was going to be Jacksonville. And then this year was going to be the charges.
64:12It just looked like the dream scenario. So it, it kind of seems like whenever everybody thinks this is the team to be on, run away.
64:21Guys, what are you guys doing at quarterback? Honestly, like I, I never felt, you know, this week when you look at
64:28all my, I looked at all my teams. You got Trevor Lawrence is a huge part of my portfolio.
64:3417 points. Herbert, you know, 17, 18 points. Jordan Love was 19 points.
64:38Like everybody was like the same. It was like, eh, nobody's throwing these, you know, even Burrow, Burrow got the numbers, thank God.
64:45And, you know, and he got the rushing score.
64:48He had 30 fantasy points. Matt, your boy, Drake May, we should touch on him.
64:53He rose from the dead. And, you know, that was great to see for all you Drake May owners that there's light at the end of that tunnel.
65:02But other than... You said about the Lions defense being awful.
65:06The Bills defense, outside a couple guys in the defensive line, it's trash.
65:10Yeah. And we've seen it every week this year.
65:13I mean... So my point in all this is, you know, yeah, there's some good picks with like Purdy.
65:19Dak Prescott, I think, is going to be a big hit this year as well with that offense.
65:25But I mean, Herbert, T-Law, Caleb's been hurt. Bo Nix is trash.
65:29Darts hurt. You know, darts out for the year.
65:32Like, Lamar's banged up now. Jaden Daniels is out.
65:35Like, the quarterback position, we're not talking about it enough how bad it is.
65:39And we're just not getting the big time production out of the quarterback like some years we have.
65:45Josh Allen was looking like, oh, he was going to lap the field.
65:49It was going to be, you know... And now he's come back to earth these last two weeks.
65:55But you still got to make him the king of the quarterback position easily.
65:59My question to you is, I already started looking at my lineups for the week.
66:04There's a lot of streaming in there again. You know, there's a lot of putting in Jordan Love.
66:10Jacoby Brissett, I picked up last week with my eyes on this week for the Lions.
66:15I was shocked that... I was putting in Jacoby Brissett like $55 to $75 bids unopposed in every primetime.
66:21Yeah, I got a lot of Jacoby. I didn't do $55 or $17.
66:26I was doing more than $15. I got some.
66:29I got a lot of cousins a couple weeks ago.
66:32You know, I was kind of quick to get into the cousins and Youngs and things like that.
66:38You know, just added him as a third quarterback, really.
66:41Because I wasn't feeling comfortable with two quarterbacks, which is mostly what I drafted.
66:45Oh, I have three quarterbacks on all my rosters at this point.
66:49And Matt, that's something we've talked about for like 10 years, if you remember.
66:54Remember back in the day when all the, you know, the dinosaurs...
66:58You got three, you don't have any. Yeah, but...
67:01You know, people would draft one quarterback and then they would take, you know, their second one, if anything, in round 19 or 20.
67:08Now, you saw this year in drafts, everybody's finally come and seen the light.
67:13They draft a quarterback in round seven or eight or nine and then come right back with another one in 11, 12, 13.
67:20And then sometimes draft the third one. You got to have three quarterbacks.
67:24I'm rotating my guys, but a lot of Brissette, a lot of Jordan Love, a lot of...
67:30I'll tell you a guy that I'm not giving up after one week.
67:34And I added him a lot last week. But Tyson Badgett versus Green Bay this week, I'm going to go right back to.
67:42You know, his game could have been a lot bigger this past week versus the Jets if Manunga didn't get all these rushing touchdowns and everything.
67:50But I think I'm more about playing against the defenses, these bad defenses and getting in these shootouts than just being like, oh, I got Trevor Lawrence.
67:59I'm putting him in and set it and forget it or, you know, under these big names.
68:04I think that's what we're looking at at fantasy quarterback this year is get yourself involved in these high totals against these
68:11bad defenses where you could get involved in a 31-28 game and pray.
68:15Yeah, that's where I'm at. I'm at a crossroads, of course.
68:19I was telling everybody to play Drake May last week on the show.
68:23And I got nervous a bit when I heard down to the third right guard.
68:28But I started him in most. But I did take him out in a couple for like Brissette.
68:34So I thought that was a great matchup. Brissette has one of his worst games.
68:39I mean, he still put up like 15 points.
68:42And the other guy puts up 35. So I have that problem of if I think the quarterback was elite before and
68:49the matchup is still good, like the Bills defense is bad.
68:52That's why they got to score 30 points a game to win.
68:56So I think in those scenarios, I think you've got to stay with your guy.
69:01But I agree you have to be a lot more open to streaming.
69:05But you can also get, you know. You get in trouble sometimes.
69:09Exactly. And let's not forget to mention, we're all the big name quarterbacks.
69:13Burrow might be in for a world of shit right now here.
69:17You know? Like Higgins might miss some time here.
69:20Let's touch on T. Higgins real quick. They said it was an abductor injury.
69:25Nobody's worried about this. I am. I mean, you're in danger.
69:28When you hear that, you're fucked. That's the core muscle surgery that just knocked out Tank Bigsby.
69:34Right? You know? Yeah, I'm very worried. I keep hearing these day-to-day.
69:38And people are like, ah, he's only doing anything.
69:40Because you can play with it, Matt. It's the same thing that Puku has been dealing with for the last two weeks
69:48is the sports hernia surgery, the abductor. You know, that, you could play through it, but it zaps your speed and movement.
69:55And that's what I'm worried about now with T.
69:58Higgins. Never mind if they say to Jamar Chase, hey, you got a bye week, you know, coming up in week six.
70:05Sit this week out versus Miami. And now you got another stud receiver, just like Jefferson missed the Miami game.
70:11Now Jamar Chase misses the Miami game. And what do you do with Burrow without his top two targets?
70:17I mean, I'm assuming they both missed this week with the bye week coming up.
70:22And the fact that they're playing, you know, Miami.
70:25Yeah, it's tough. I mean, you know, but meanwhile, two weeks ago, you licking your chops with Burrow, Chase, and Higgins going into a game versus Miami.
70:34You're like, all right, well, that's an easy 35-point game, you know?
70:38Can we touch on one of the comments? I think it's really relevant, Gizzy 209, about Roman Wilson.
70:43Roman Wilson's got like six targets every week. And he's actually, you know.
70:48He's absolutely destroyed Pittman. Yeah, he really has. Oh, my God, Michael Pittman.
70:52Pittman might be the worst pick in the top 100 overall.
70:55He could be. I thought Pittman was going to be good.
70:59I'm just glad I didn't get any. I really didn't draft this.
71:03If you remember, I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but the DK Metcalf, Pittman, everybody was on Pittman over Metcalf.
71:10I told people they were crazy. DK Metcalf, I still am standing on that hill.
71:15You saw it last week. It was slow for a couple quarters, but he winds up five for 115.
71:21He's the guy. Roman Wilson just might be that number two in the offense there.
71:26Rodgers does like him. Roman Wilson's going to be a popular ad this week.
71:30Aaron Rodgers is the least talked about quarterback to put a back-to-back 30 burgers.
71:35Nobody says a word. Everybody's falling all over Deshaun Watson, who's played well.
71:39He's not played great. But Rodgers is throwing up 30 points here and there.
71:44How about that Browns offense there, Matt? What do you think?
71:47I got to say, if you're a quick – I wasn't in on Judkins this year because I didn't think he would get passes.
71:55But in two of the last three weeks, he's gotten at least five catches.
71:59This week, he got, I think, another five or six.
72:03He's getting five, seven targets. If that's the case, he's going to be a huge win in that fifth, sixth round range
72:10where he went if he's going to keep getting – I thought it was going to be a Rocket-Sanders game, I'll be honest with you.
72:18Is he a cut? Who, Sanders? Yeah. I say no because if Judkins get hurt, he's got that prime role.
72:24Maybe McLaughlin will come in. Yeah, and then they go and bring in Jaleel McLaughlin, though.
72:29Yeah, what was the deal with Jaleel? He gets a – what, it was a 38-yard touchdown?
72:35Yeah. Weaving through everybody and that's his last and only – That's why I'm saying his name.
72:40Yeah, that's – But I think Rockets looked good for them.
72:44He looked good for them last year in some spurts.
72:47And I think he's a guy that could do both.
72:50They could leave him on the field and you could either run the ball or he can catch it.
72:57So I would say no. I mean, look, if there's somebody you really wanted that had a clearer path or something, yeah.
73:04But I wouldn't mind having him on my bench because I think the way this offense is shaping up, at least in
73:11the backfield, who's everything – the guy out there is going to catch passes.
73:15So – Okay. All right. Another thing with Cad then.
73:19Yeah. Just seeing if Matt had any more things he got wrong.
73:22No, one thing I will say is I drafted Bowers aggressively.
73:26But I – in the FFPC, I drafted Trey McBride, you know, end of the first, early second.
73:32In the NFFC, I didn't draft him. And it's kind of like LaCosta Loveland.
73:36I really didn't get him in the FFPC because he was going so high.
73:41But I would take him in the NFFC when he fell.
73:44So, you know, it's just those things. Trey McBride, you know, I know that first week was the best.
73:51But this guy gets double-digit targets every week and basically moderate catches.
73:54So, I regret not taking him in the NFFC.
73:57Yeah, that's one of my regrets too. I didn't take him either spot.
74:02I just – I've hated him. Not a great move.
74:05Gotcha. All right. Anything else, Matt? No, I'm done.
74:08Okay. All right. Yeah, I just got a couple – you know.
74:12And it was kind of like I didn't take – there's kind of a theme here.
74:17I didn't take the other side of some of my stances in that, like, I bought heavily into a lot of the New Orleans offensive pieces.
74:25But when we got down to, like, Shuck and Vela, I didn't buy heavily on those guys when I should have.
74:32You know, it's like, well, I was in on all these other guys.
74:36Why wouldn't I be in on the cheapest options as well?
74:40So, I didn't get enough Manongai or Jalen Warren.
74:43Just – I don't know. I don't have any good excuses for that.
74:47I should have gotten more Manongai. I definitely should have gotten more Jalen Warren.
74:51And I just kept finding other players that I liked better at that spot.
74:56But, you know, another one where it was like I should have taken the other end.
75:01I soft-faded David Montgomery, but I didn't hammer Woody Marks.
75:04And I think it was probably because I didn't really dislike David Montgomery.
75:08It was just I liked other players more where he was going.
75:12And so, for that reason, I didn't really hammer on Woody Marks.
75:16But I should have, you know, kind of taken a look at my portfolio and said, hey, if I'm going to be
75:23late on Monty, I should probably get some more marks in here on some of these last drafts.
75:29Do you feel that's playing against yourself, though? Not necessarily.
75:32Well, apparently. I mean, yeah. I don't know. Woody Marks, I mean, he's got a touchdown, but he really ain't doing nothing either.
75:40I mean, they're both getting killed. It's not even that Monty sucks.
75:44It's that they're getting killed. Their offensive line sucks.
75:47They can't stick with the run game. I don't go into my drafts being like I'm all in on Hall, so I have to go get Braylon Allen.
75:56You know, I don't. I don't like betting against myself.
75:59Maybe that's. No, no. No, I didn't want to bet against my – what I was saying is, since I soft-faded Montgomery,
76:06I should have been getting more Woody Marks. No, for me, yeah.
76:10That makes more sense. I heard it wrong. Yeah, okay, okay.
76:13But – Yeah, so I – you know, but the reason why I did get Woody Marks is I wasn't – I
76:21didn't feel like I had a great reason to – you know, I didn't have any conviction about the Montgomery fade.
76:27It was just like I kept just not getting him because there was always somebody I liked better.
76:33Yeah, there was Marshall Lloyd that we all thought was going to be good.
76:38Yeah, you know, so it was like, you know, it's – I didn't have anything against Montgomery, so I didn't, you know,
76:45have a strong lean towards getting into the Woody Marks market.
76:48So, I don't know. And then I got faked out by the Chuba Hubbard injury.
76:53Chuba Hubbard is a guy – I mean, that's the kind of guy that I, you know, I gravitate towards, you know,
77:00get the – get those early points, especially in builds where you're late on running back.
77:05Like, there are a couple teams where I look at them and I was like, why the hell did I not take Chuba here?
77:13You know, these are mostly zero running back builds and Chuba would have looked so good here.
77:19And instead, you know, I've got like Corum or somebody like that.
77:23It's just – yeah. I still don't think Chuba's that good, I'll be honest.
77:27I think he's like that – he's just the volume guy and he's got all the volume now.
77:33It just worked out that way. His coaching staff will disagree with you.
77:37You know. They love the shit out of him for whatever reason.
77:41I mean, you know. Last year they bailed on his ass pretty quick though.
77:46So, it felt like, you know. Yeah, Dotto played really well and Chuba was injured.
77:50So, and they came back to him. The other guy was rushing for 200 yards a game too.
77:56Against some of the worst rushing defenses in the league.
77:59It doesn't matter. It still happened. It's the NFL.
78:02You know, Chuba had a great game Sunday night against.
78:06One of the worst defenses in the league. You can say that.
78:09Yeah, I mean, he's – I don't – am I sitting here saying that Chuba is B.
78:15John Robinson? No. I'm just saying where he was going in drafts.
78:19I'm not saying this guy is crap. But I don't think he's that good.
78:23I don't think Javante Williams is that good. Javante Williams is scoring touchdowns.
78:28He's getting – But Chuba – You said – You said – You know.
78:32My point is that Chuba was so cheap. And, you know, he's definitely the quality of player that we should have been all over.
78:40But instead, we all got infatuated with Brooks. And it was like, oh, yeah.
78:44James – you know, Brooks is going to just totally take over this backfield.
78:49Nobody wanted anything to do with even a couple weeks of Chuba or anything else.
78:54It was just like, you know – But look at last year.
78:58We saw Chuba lose his job to a guy, Rico Dowdle, who I don't think is that good.
79:03Again, he got hurt. He got hurt. Dowdle balled out against really bad defenses.
79:08And then as soon as Dowdle cooled off, they started going back to Chuba.
79:12And Chuba didn't do shit until the end of the year.
79:16The playoffs, he went off. But, you know – Yeah, once he was finally healthy.
79:21Okay. So it was just all – it was just all injury.
79:25I mean, I think you're sucking Chuba a little too much.
79:28I'm sorry. I think you're – I really do.
79:31I'm not – Sucking the Chuba. I'm not saying – Mile High is with me here.
79:36Me and my guy, Mile High, we're going to – we're riding the Chuba tree.
79:41Yeah, two years ago, Chuba had a fantastic year.
79:44It's 2026. You know, when I was 18, you know, I was banging cheerleaders two at a time.
79:50What do you want me to tell you? Now this is what we need to hear about, Matt.
79:56Yeah, Matt, I want to hear more about your high school.
79:59Your experience with girlfriends. Then Dan's breakups. Yeah, so it was all injury.
80:03I was just kidding. Oh, man. Oh, man. Last thing.
80:07Fading Tett McMillan was just bad. I was in on Coker, so I'll take credit for that.
80:12But fading McMillan was – I just didn't think that Bryce Young was going to be as good as he is.
80:19I'm excited about Tett the rest of the year here.
80:22Oh, yeah. And I have something in my notes here.
80:25Are Tett and Chuba going to be like the mini Falcons version of Bijon and Drake London the rest of the year?
80:33You know what I mean? That's a great analogy.
80:35That offense is centered around one running back, one wide receiver.
80:39They're touching the ball only. You know, like, yeah, a couple people sprinkled in here and there.
80:45But you get the point. Every week it's Chuba and Tett.
80:48And maybe we just saw the – I mean, yeah, granted it was against a lion's shit defense.
80:54But when you have a game like that, maybe that's the breakout to take you to the superstar level of being, you
81:01know, the next big thing at the wide receiver position.
81:04And if that's the case and you were getting Tett McMillan in the fourth round, maybe he's the guy that pays off
81:11as a, you know, early second round wide receiver this year and a huge hit.
81:16I got a question, though. I would have thought pregame when there was no Coker, but at least at the half, how
81:23do you not say the one guy in the second half that will not beat us is Tett?
81:29We're going to double team him, move the coverage to his side, let Darren Wall or whatever the hell his name is, Bryson Tremaine, beat us.
81:38Or if Chuba's got to run for 300 yards, let it go that way.
81:42And they just – not even just making catches.
81:45The guy's getting touchdowns. It was like – it was wild.
81:49Yeah. That's just how bad the secondary is. And the coaching seems almost worse than the players.
81:54And he was covering his mouth. Don't worry, buddy.
81:57Nobody cares. Trust me. Nobody cares what you're saying.
82:00Oh, man. All right. Let's jump up to our final topic.
82:03Oh, we got another one. I thought we were done.
82:07What's that? I thought we were done. We'll hit this one real quick and then we'll bounce at a 90.
82:13Yeah. So, looking ahead, questions unanswered in your mind.
82:16You know, I think we've kind of covered a few of the ones that I was going to talk about.
82:22But, you know, the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills. You know, the first two weeks were fantastic.
82:28The last two weeks have been dog shit. And I'm hoping that we get closer to the first two weeks than the last two weeks, that's for sure.
82:37I think the last two weeks were probably the best thing that could have happened to the Bills.
82:42They should have lost first to charges and that might have woken them up.
82:47But I think now it's like they have a really good offense and a really bad defense.
82:52So, the good thing for fantasy and with Joe Brady, seems like his intent is we're going to outscore you.
82:59So, hopefully. Sure. And I'll say this, though. Again, if DJ Moore is out for a while here, you know, it's a
83:06big knock to Josh Allen, as great as Josh Allen is, to go right back into where he's been these last couple
83:13of years without a wide receiver one and run out there with Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman, you know, the 40-plus point
83:20weeks that you're going to, you know, we all started thinking this is going to be an every week thing early in
83:27the season with this offense when Kincaid was looking like a monster, DJ Moore was looking like an elite one.
83:34You know, you got to pull the reins back a little bit, especially with a little banged up knee that Josh Allen's dealing with with running game.
83:43I, you know, you have to listen. I have Josh Allen on a primetime team that I'm loving.
83:48Okay. It's you got to be honest with yourself.
83:51After the first two weeks, you said, oh, my God, I have like the quarterback that was like Lamar three years ago
83:58with his MVP season where it was just a matter of how many points is he going to score each week?
84:05You knew you were getting 35 at minimum. How much more are you going to get after that?
84:11You got to pull the reins back a little bit and temper your expectations, in my opinion.
84:17Yep. Yeah, I still think it's good days ahead, even if Moore's out.
84:21And I really, the kid I want to see play for them is that Skylar Bell.
84:26I know he's a fourth round pick and stuff from a small school, but he's got juice.
84:31So, you know, if Keon can do stuff and Kincaid needs to, in my opinion, Kincaid needs to be the focal point of this offense.
84:39I agree 100%. If you look at every metric from last year, the front office said it, the head coach said it.
84:47We're a better team when Kincaid's on the field.
84:49He got stronger. He got healthy in the offseason.
84:52So, I don't get that list. Matt, you just wonder if he's a little banged up, too.
84:58If you remember... That's a great question. If you remember the game versus the Chargers first quarter, he took an unbelievable hit
85:05over the middle where I thought he was out for the season.
85:09As soon as it happened, it was a low hit.
85:12His knee went like flying. He got up. He limped a little bit.
85:16He went to the sideline. And I was like, he hyperextended his knee, MCL, like crafted last year.
85:22And then he came back. So, that's actually a really good point.
85:26Maybe he's playing hurt, too. But we never know these things.
85:30Go ahead, Dan. All right. Just a couple others.
85:32Can the Broncos offense rate the ship? I bought into a lot of waddle.
85:37And in some cases, that was at the expense of getting safe flowers.
85:41So, I really need the Broncos to get this shit right.
85:45Well, they just lost their best receiver for a month.
85:48It's going on the IR. I mean, Pat Bryant has a lot of the bay.
85:53I had a ton of Pat Bryant. Hey, listen.
85:56Maybe that'll funnel more targets to waddle. It hasn't been what we wanted for the waddle owners.
86:01But, I mean, it could be worse. You could be a Cortland Sutton owner.
86:06I mean, what the hell happened to this? I had no interest.
86:10Zero shares, zero carers. Yeah, well, I mean, then it's a win.
86:13You know, then, you know, you see things like that.
86:17You just want to be like, all right, I hope this keeps continuing.
86:21Because it was a waste of Nick. I just think Nick's – they've been saying it all over Twitter.
86:27You've been seeing all the things. He's not throwing the ball more than 10, 20 yards.
86:32Look at Waddles and all his routes. They were like 110 yards.
86:36No, it's a shit show. Yeah. And Bo Nix is bad.
86:40Grossest watch in the NFL. I would definitely – Does he get dropped?
86:44Does he get dropped this week in a lot of leagues?
86:47I don't know if anybody's dropping him yet. Yeah, I think with all the quarterback – I mean – For streamers, I'm telling you.
86:55You look at the wire. You know? But he's getting firmly planted on the bench.
87:00I played Nix over Cousins this past week because Cousins was going against the Chiefs' pass defense.
87:06And I was like, eh, I'll go ahead and take a shot with Nix.
87:10You know, he's going to be in a game where he's going to have to throw a lot.
87:16Who's never playing this week? That did not work out at all.
87:20Chargers. I mean, that's kind of a nice matchup for Nix.
87:23I think the Chargers actually beat them this week.
87:26I said that a week ago. This is the game they come and win.
87:31I don't care. My biggest thing with Hampton – Well, they won't have Sertan and they won't have Moss.
87:37So, they might be like the Carolina, you know, team that lost their top two corners.
87:42My biggest thing with Hampton, obviously outside of the snap share decreasing like every week, was he's only got, what, like two or three targets on the year.
87:51And that's something I thought he would, you know.
87:54So, I, you know, I don't – this team isn't as bad as they look for Chargers.
87:59I'm just going to say that. They are going to turn it around at some point.
88:05One would hope. I mean, I've got a ton of Keaton Mitchell.
88:09So, I'm kind of loving the Hampton problems right now.
88:12But I also have a few Hampton shares. Yeah, but Keaton Mitchell's got to become effective.
88:17Yeah, exactly. That's the thing. I mean, Mitchell hasn't been all that effective either.
88:21The fact that they're all like 35 – Yeah, it's a killer.
88:25It's just horrible. It's a disaster. It's a disaster.
88:28I mean, I'm picking up all the Vidal shares that go to the waiver.
88:33Another guy I dropped. Yeah, another guy that I dropped across the board, you know.
88:38Real quick, any of these guys droppable straight across all your boards?
88:41Marshawn Lloyd? I dropped Marshawn Lloyd Wednesday and Saturday.
88:44I mean, I did basically go with Caleb Johnson.
88:47Okay, and Chris Brooks got hurt. So, Chris Brooks got hurt.
88:51He got – now they're down to just Brooks and – I'm sorry, Lloyd and – Caleb Johnson.
88:57And they both stopped. And he went to the bench, both of them.
89:01Yeah. George Helani was a guy I dropped across the board about a week ago.
89:06And now Price is on IR and, you know – Well, look at Emmanuel Wilson.
89:11People were spending like 200 bucks for him before they knew, and it turned out to be like, you know.
89:17You know, as much as you can laugh at it or snicker at it, it worked out for them.
89:23You know, it was shit luck with the Price going to the IR, but – That was a guy I was so
89:30high on in April and May, and then it just looked like all summer long he was buried on that depth chart.
89:37Just looked absolutely buried. So, I quit drafting him 100%.
89:41You know, it was just like I have no shares after like June 1st.
89:45J.K. Dobbins, is he dropped? I think – Nelson mentioned it last week, but I think right now – I'm trying to make reasons to keep him.
89:54Right. It's just because you look at the running back depth chart, and it's just him and Harvey, but even Tyler Bidet gets in the game.
90:02You know, I don't know. You know, Dobbins is unplayable.
90:05And I'll be honest, he was available in one of my prime times last week, and I was in running back need,
90:13and I bid on him a decent amount just to get a name on the team.
90:18I'm so glad I got outbid. He went for like $450 because you see a name like J.K.
90:24Dobbins on the wire, you know you're going to see a big bid.
90:28I'm glad the other owner got him and not me.
90:31You know, Harvey actually looks really good. He's the only guy that seems like he's got like pep in his step and
90:38some juice, and they don't commit to the run.
90:41They refuse to do it every week, you know.
90:44And the last name I'm just going to throw out, just to touch on as many names as we can here.
90:51You know who's frustrating? He was my highest-owned handcuff that I had high hopes for, but, man, and Matt, you could touch on this.
90:58Ray Davis doesn't play at all, huh? No, he's just a high contingent, you know.
91:03He's the guy, though. I mean, Ty Johnson will be involved, but we've seen in the past.
91:09If Cook is out, he steps in. I don't even think Ray Davis is that good, but that position is so good.
91:16That's the thing. So I got him for like $32 last week, and then I was like, God, this guy's not even
91:23going to play, but then he was active. So I thought he had a hamstring or something popped up late, but it seems like he's fine.
91:31Gotcha. I mean, those are the guys you're holding in the hole.
91:35So if, like, something happens, you have a, you know, you got a nice ticket.
91:40Yep, yep. All right. There's some guys that are eating up spots on your bench.
91:45Oh, yeah. Doing nothing. You can't play them. You're just eating.
91:49You know, you just – Oh, one more guy we didn't touch on, which I thought was crazy.
91:54The Jets, I know they only had the ball, what, 32 snaps?
91:58What's the average? Like 60 to 65, right? Like 62 snaps a game.
92:02They had about 32. But Isaiah Davis has two snaps.
92:06They don't throw this guy – Isaiah Davis is a good player.
92:10I mean, maybe I like him a little more than most, but I think that was wild.
92:15Yeah. No. All right. Dan, back to you. I'm sorry.
92:18Just got a little off. No, no. It's good.
92:21And the only other thing I was going to say, if the Eagles can't get it together when Devonta Smith and Goddard
92:28come back, it's curtains for probably that whole coaching stuff.
92:32The Cowboys, I think they were plus 150 to win the division the other day.
92:36That might be one of the better bets to make.
92:40That's a great bet, actually. I don't even know if it's 150 anymore, but – I got to look at that.
92:46Dallas is going to win the NFC East easily.
92:49I don't believe in the Giants. The Giants are 3-1.
92:53Oh, the Giants are frauds. We know that. But Washington's so good.
92:56You know, that's – Dallas is going to get there.
93:00I think the Eagles could get really ugly. Like Thursday night, if the Cowboys win like 41-10, I got to think the head coach is possibly fired.
93:08He's dropped like what? He lost like the last eight games last year.
93:13They were 7-2. They haven't won a game this year.
93:16Yeah, he's lost. No doubt about it. But how about that run out for, you know, all you Tank Bigsby?
93:22That was terrible. That was like the worst. Can you believe it?
93:26Like imagine drafting a big-time handcuff in like the 120 to 140 overall range on the board.
93:32He was another Blake Corum. You know, hey, if Barkley goes down, you got a league winner here, Tank Bigsby.
93:38Barkley goes down again, looks like significant time, and then you lose Bigsby for six weeks, and he's a drop now.
93:45So – I mean, the Eagles in six weeks, I don't know what that team is going to look like.
93:51Yeah. Yeah. I think there's going to be mutiny with the head coach.
93:56They're going to – you know, it seems like that's a – you know, very fringe.
94:01That glue is starting to – Yeah, I think the head coach is wildly overrated.
94:06Yeah. He could go from winning the Super Bowl two years ago to, you know, fired this year.
94:11Yeah. Matt, what do you got on your look-aheads?
94:14Is it me or Matt? Go ahead. I don't really have anything.
94:18I'll just say I'm praying for some health going forward and – or the chaos to at least break my way.
94:25Yeah, no, I agree with you on that, Matt, because – Sometimes it better be lucky than good, they say.
94:31Yeah, you need a little luck in this game, and we haven't run into that lately.
94:37Absolutely. I'll just say what I'm looking ahead for is, I guess the same part as Matt, getting healthy.
94:43You know, I look at a lot of my rosters, and they have Justin Jefferson, Brees Hall, Devonta Smith.
94:49Some of them have all three of them on there.
94:52It's like the what could be. It's like, you know, listen, my drafts weren't bad.
94:57My teams aren't bad. I'm just trying to glue it together right now.
95:01But you run out of time when you're gluing it because what happens is you lose these guys for two or three weeks.
95:09You're plugging and playing, you know, below average players.
95:12Your scores are in the 120s each week without these studs that you drafted to be your studs.
95:17Because, you know, you have two or three slow weeks.
95:21Then you hit their bye weeks, and you don't have them again.
95:24And by the time you wake up, it's week eight or nine, and you're in 11th place, and you're 180 points behind the top guys.
95:33And you're just scrambling and playing catch-up. So, you know, my Bears and my Vikings.
95:37I need Mason back to fill in a lot of spots.
95:41I think he's going to be really good. I need, obviously, Justin Jefferson, Caleb Williams.
95:46I can't wait to get him back into the lineup and see what this Bears offense can finally do.
95:52I feel like we haven't had them since week one play a complete game.
95:56Week two, it was a monsoon. You throw that out the window.
96:00Week three was a disaster. It got hurt. And, you know, we're all scrambling.
96:05So let's get all the Bears healthy and under center with Caleb and see what the season could finally be like.
96:12Chris, I'm with you with the Mason thing. That was a big in because J.K.
96:16sucks. And him and Mason were two guys I took late that I thought could, you know, get me through that first
96:24month or early part of the season. Yeah. And that's been no bueno.
96:28But I am at least excited for the possibility of Mason.
96:31Yeah. I mean, listen, we're four weeks in. There's so many just the what if.
96:36Like, what if this guy was, you know, what if I had this healthy team?
96:41What, you know, Zay Flowers. Zay Flowers, week one, monster.
96:44We're all excited. Gets hurt. Week two and three, you know, out.
96:48And then, you know, oh, was he going to be on a snapchat?
96:52Week this past week, monster. Now it looks like Lamar's going to miss some time.
96:57Now he's not going to have Lamar. How is he going to produce with Huntley for a couple of weeks if Lamar sits out?
97:05It's like, let's just get everything together here and and and let my team be, you know, fully healthy and together.
97:12Same thing with neighbors. We touched on him earlier.
97:15Now it looks like he's through the rough patch and Winston could get his shit together.
97:20Reese Hall. And that's it. I mean, I guess that's that's the moral of the story is it just looks like you look at your bench.
97:28You got two or three studs that are out right now.
97:32And you just got to get healthy and keep it together in the meantime.
97:36100%. All right, gentlemen. Anything else? Yeah. Put a bow on this one.
97:40Yeah. All right. Well, we appreciate all of our listeners.
97:44Thanks for joining us this week. As always, we love the feedback.
97:48So hit that like button. Leave a comment. Give us a review.
97:51Whatever is appropriate to the format on which you are consuming this show.
97:56And next week, we hope to have Nelson's contract.
97:59I mean, back injury resolved and have him back in the fold.
98:02Joey Porter. What's that? Joey Porter. He's a, what do you call it?
98:07I've been here. He's taking back injury for a contract.
98:10That's right. He wants an extension or else he's going to the sit down.
98:14Oh, well, in a certain way, we're bringing the sit down to us.
98:19Next week, we're going to have Paul. From Altona.
98:22The kid got cold up. As our guest, special guest host.
98:25Hopefully, he can get us on air, though, Dan.
98:28Yeah, well. Hopefully, he can get the show on.
98:31I'll try to give him a tutorial again. Work with him.
98:34These special needs. Work with him. But I appreciate him coming in and helping out.
98:39I'll be out east spending time with my kids.
98:42So, it's nice to have somebody who's willing to come in and has a great rapport with you guys.
98:48So, very appreciative of that. All right. Good luck to everybody this week in the Empire.
98:54Let's go out there and get some of those wins and get some of those players healthy.
