0:00This episode is brought to you by Troll Co.
0:03Clothing. And oh, is this one worth it? You know, more than a few people have asked me about Troll Co.
0:09So let me actually tell you about it. I wear their hats, their sweatshirts.
0:13I have for a while now. The quality on both is legitimately good.
0:17The hats hold their shape. The sweatshirts are the kind of heavy that you actually want, not the thin stuff that pills after three washes.
0:25I just like them. The reason I connected with the brand in the first place is the story behind it.
0:31You know the phrase, dirty hands clean money? It's a blue collar saying that has been around forever.
0:37It's the idea that honest, hard, physical work is how you build a good life.
0:41Troll Co. was started by two guys who came out of the oil patch who could not find any clothing that represented people like them.
0:49So they built it themselves. That is the kind of origin story I respect.
0:53And the product truly backs it up. If you want to check them out, go to TrollCo.com slash Profiler.
0:59That is T-R-O-L-L-C-O dot com slash Profiler. And use code PROFILER25.
1:02For 25% off your first order. From athletic stuff like a full court pickup game.
1:07Swish! To athletic-ish stuff. Like a half mile stroll.
1:10Get those steps in! Head to Sierra or Sierra.com for the brands you want at the prices that let you do it all.
1:17From athletic to athletic-ish. Sierra's got it. Every single NFL team has reported for training camp.
1:22Unbelievable that we started drafting in January when the big board opened and we're here.
1:26Alec Pierce is on the pup list. Chris Rodriguez is probably not on the pup list.
1:31Tucker Craft is on the physically unable to perform list.
1:34While Malik Neighbors is not on the physically unable to perform list.
1:38We are in a best ball mania draft. Drafting out of the seven hole.
1:42And I brought my biggest hater. Mr. Buck St.
1:45Thomas the walrus. On to the program. My guy Derek Brown from Fantasy Pros is going to be on with us next.
1:52Buck, how are you doing this morning? I'm doing great man.
1:55We're pretty good. We had a little snafu. Had to jump the car this morning.
2:00Left the light on. But you know, we're here.
2:02We're okay. Been there. Alright man. We are drafting out of the seven slot in this draft.
2:07Are you happy to take Amon Ra Amon Ra St.
2:11Brown? Do you want to take Jonathan Taylor? Generally speaking, what do you do at the seven slot in the draft?
2:17If I can get Amon Ra, I get him.
2:20Because he tends to be pulled up a little bit in the draft settlement.
2:24It seems like when I happen to get those spots, I'm probably lighter than I want to be on St.
2:30Brown because every year I do a soft fade and he just like owns me.
2:35And I don't want that to happen again. You know?
2:38Yeah, I am also a little bit lighter than intended.
2:41Only $469 invested in Amon Ra St. Brown right now.
2:44There's just so many ways that you could see it go elsewhere over there.
2:48You know? There's something there's something about St. Brown and I don't really know what it is, but it's just kind of like a vibes base that wow.
2:57Alright, well, we're going to get McCaffrey. Yeah, we are.
3:00There's just I don't know what it is, but it's just kind of this deal about St.
3:05Brown where he doesn't feel as dominant as Lamb or Jason or Puka or Chase or Jefferson.
3:10By the way, I got to say I know look, I'm all well, actually, I'm not all for it.
3:16I think taking Chase ahead of B. John or Gibbs is if you're going to be doing I mean, if you're going
3:23to do 10 drafts, you know, whatever, do whatever you want.
3:26But if you are portfolio drafting Chase over B.
3:29John, I just have a I have a real hard time for it mostly because the picks at 23 and 26 or
3:3624, 25, 22, 27 are generally speaking the wide receiver picks there are better.
3:40Yes. And then you're just kind of typecasting yourself into a zero wide or a zero running back start, which I'm I'm
3:47not as like heavy, heavy running back pilled kind of as the rest of the field is right now.
3:52Yeah, but it's real hard for me to be like I'm taking my first running back in round four.
3:58Dude. Yeah. I mean, you're shooting yourself in the foot if you pull up Chase.
4:03Chase falls. Chase, you can get Chase at four.
4:05You can get Chase at five. I've even seen him go at six.
4:09You know, he's he's pretty volatile. And like you just said, when you come back around there at the at the turn,
4:16you're looking at like breeze or bust kind of for me.
4:20So like if you're voluntarily giving up an early draft slot running back share, I think that is shooting yourself in the foot.
4:27I would say right now, the biggest thing to take advantage of as a result of training camp news is 100 percent.
4:33Just like being able to get Jeremiah. Love a pick 28, 29.
4:37That that is far and away the number one thing thus far that I've been like, all right, well, this is just
4:44an overreaction based on people remembering who the offensive coordinator is.
4:47Like not even not even news, just people remembering who the Cardinals offensive coordinator is.
4:52Yeah. I mean, he could fall further, though, is my only counter to that.
4:56Like there could I could see ways for him to fall further.
5:00I'm going to keep doing it. All right. A-chan or Henry or Bowers.
5:04With McCaffrey. If we're having fun, we could do Bowers.
5:07But I think the smart move is A-chan. Yeah.
5:09You know, I'm a little bit worried like everyone else is that the Dolphins are going to be bad and they very likely are going to be bad.
5:18Although I'm probably a little bit higher on the Leak Willis than than the average bear.
5:23Yeah. And frankly, the team wasn't even any good last year.
5:26Like it's not like the Dolphins, the Dolphins, everyone got fired.
5:30It was it was a huge mess anyways. And just look at the game locks, dude.
5:34Just every week. Just like, all right, 16, 17, 20, 40, 20, 17, 18, 18.
5:39Like if you I mean, he's if you have one guy on an offense like that, you want him.
5:45He's the prototypical. Like you would not build a better guy to be on a bad team than A-chan.
5:51It simply doesn't matter if the team is good or bad.
5:54This dude is going to eat. Yeah, I actually.
5:57Well, I actually I looked it up and Jamal Charles is last year playing without Alex Smith.
6:02The Chiefs won three games and he had 1500 yards and 10 touchdowns, which is like it's probably what A-chan is going to be in that range.
6:10And then obviously he can score more touchdowns if he gets long plays.
6:14You know, I see it kind of like Brisa a couple of years ago, except a different type of quarterback and offense.
6:21But like scam, you know, just scam with a super talented guy.
6:25Yeah, no, I mean, I agree with this that Tua like and his check down tendencies was very good for A-chan.
6:31The thing that I like with Malik, I mean, the thing the thing that we know, I mean, this is just bare
6:38out, born out through years and years and years of fantasy football research, which is if you have a running quarterback, yes,
6:44things just get a lot easier for the running back.
6:47So he probably does lose some of his receiving work, but he's going to he should be able to gain, you know,
6:54a little bit of equity in the ground game.
6:57Dude, yeah, you cannot give A-chan an inch and he's going to Malik Willis will threaten and, you know, it's going to work.
7:04There we go. We have Buck St. Thomas fans in the chat.
7:08Thank you guys. Fantastic video today, Buck. There we go.
7:11Thank you. I put out a video at 10 today.
7:14I'm trying to put out a video. Now I'm going to try and put one out every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
7:20I drafted. You want to do Brees, Kyron, T, Lad, I'm a Brees guy.
7:24Give me Brees. Is this value too, right? Is this value?
7:28Uh, I mean, if it is value, it's like, yeah, like two spots of ADP value.
7:33I, I actually think it's, it's time to start taking Malik Neighbors here.
7:37I'm sorry, man. Malik Neighbors is not going after Emeka Egbuka.
7:40It's not happening. Well, like, I mean, I'm kind of not buying any positive news on Neighbors right now until I see something.
7:47That's how I feel. There's a lot of risk, inherent risk with that, that coaching staff, that offensive environment.
7:53I mean, when has Matt Nagy ever messed anything up for everybody, right?
7:57I mean, I agree the, I agree the Matt Nagy issue is very real.
8:01But Malik Neighbors, I mean, we've already seen like legit wide receiver one production, wide receiver one target earning two.
8:07That's maybe to me the big difference with Neighbors versus some of these other guys.
8:12Like if Lad McConkie was in a similar situation coming back from the ACL, I wouldn't want to be jamming it.
8:18But Malik Neighbors is like, I mean, I expect him to have close to a 30% target share for this iteration of the Giants.
8:26This just feels like this could go so bad.
8:28I mean, what if his recovery is off? What if there's like a more interesting reason they're keeping him off the pup
8:35rather than like, this dude's going to be full go.
8:38Like we have not seen him run, Davis. Have we seen anything today from camp?
8:43What's going on with him? On Neighbors? I don't, we have not.
8:46That's kind of the most important thing like on the board, right?
8:50Like what is Neighbors doing? Let me see if I can get, I don't believe there is any Malik Neighbors update yet.
8:57So they, I think, I think the Giants come into camp tomorrow.
9:00By the way, as we're, as we're, as we're talking about Devon H and first blurb on Roto World is Dolphins head
9:07coach Jeff Halfley said running back Devon H will be ready for start of camp tomorrow because he had that off season.
9:14There we go. Shoulder cleanup. Yeah, so this is obviously why he was a fourth round pick because he was limping to first base in that softball game.
9:22But you got to remember he was cleared to play in that game by the medical staff.
9:28I mean, he was, yeah, clearly horribly running. Like, couldn't even bend his leg.
9:32I mean, you know, I mean, he's just, he's taking it easy.
9:36It was the most bearish thing you could have possibly seen.
9:39He's not trying to get injured in a softball game, bro.
9:42I'm just not buying it. I'm not, I'm not taking neighbors there.
9:46I know he's amazing. I just feel like even if he's ready to play, he's not, he's going to be probably 75%
9:53of himself on a, on a, Waddle or McLaurin.
9:55Um, let's go Waddle, right? Or, or Jacobs. I wouldn't go for RB personally still.
10:00I would go Waddle here if you believe in Waddle.
10:03Like any of those guys, McLaurin and Waddle probably project similarly.
10:06I mean, I, I'm a Jalen Waddle guy. I know you are.
10:10And I'm trying to be more open to it myself.
10:13Thank God. I know that. Yeah. Well, I mean, I wouldn't have even had to, I wouldn't have even had to have asked you for, for Luther Burton.
10:22I mean, Waddle is ultimately, it's going to be an ultimately everyone ends up feeling right about him because he's going to
10:29come out of the gate like gangbusters. He's going to have a, you know, he's going to have a 28% target share.
10:35He's going to have like 147 yard game and then he'll get nicked up and he'll get banged up and people like
10:42me will be like, you know, I just ran bad.
10:45Can't, can't predict that stuff. He actually is not that missed that many games in his career.
10:50And then all the people who are fading him will be saying, come on, man, you knew he was going to get hurt.
10:57He goes into the medical tent every single game.
11:00And so everyone, no matter what your opinion is on Jalen Waddle, you will end up getting to say, come on, man, I told you so.
11:08I was right. Yeah, you are. You are right.
11:11Especially like it's, it's going to suck when he has like, you know, 400 more yards than Sutton, but Sutton has more touchdowns somehow.
11:18I mean, that almost, I was going to say that almost certainly is going to happen.
11:23All right. We got it. We got a good question here.
11:26Are we sure Neighbors is amazing? To which I would say, yes.
11:30Yes. Yes. I mean, the guy, the guy, he really is.
11:33If the dude was right, he'd be a mid first round pick.
11:3718, 18 targets in his second ever game is really, really some phenomenal stuff.
11:41Yeah. I'm pretty, pretty sure, pretty sure that Neighbors is, is quite good.
11:45I mean, boy, are we lucky that we took Waddle because we would be tilting our faces off.
11:51I mean, I think, I think given the range of outcomes where Jacobs is suspended or maybe cooked.
11:56I mean, he was cooked at the end of last season with that knee injury.
12:01To me, he is in the same as these Henderson Judkins, Bucky style guys.
12:05What do you want to do here? Buck? I would pull up a wide receiver here.
12:10I would pull up any of them really dealer's choice.
12:13You, you pick, I would pick up any wide receiver.
12:16We'll do Christian Watson. I think that is, I mean, whatever, it's fine to do in every one of your drafts.
12:23I don't think it's crazy. My opinion is that fantasy football this season is going to be decided by who scores the
12:29most points out of DeAndre Swift, David Montgomery, Byshell Tootin, Trevon Henderson, Quinshawn Judkins, and Jadarian Price.
12:34Those are, those are the five most important guys in fantasy football in my mind.
12:39I'm actually same round, but different side than you.
12:42Every year, I try to find the receivers in the fifth round that are going to, that are going to way outperform,
12:49and there's a couple, I think this year, I feel like it's going to matter more because running back pricing is, is
12:55so much more expensive now that like you're the ceiling you're trying to reach with these Tootin guys is ones that's going
13:02to be reached by people in the second round and even the third round all the time.
13:07but these fourth and fifth round wide receivers, there could be some real league winners in there.
13:12Like, you know, we, we find them every year.
13:15There's like Tate, Tate could just be a league winner.
13:18Oh, you hear that? Jadarian Price is 50-50 with a lot.
13:22Can't draft Jadarian Price. He's George Alani's backup. Can't draft him.
13:25Can't draft him, dude. He's splitting reps with Alani in July.
13:28Can't draft him. Jadarian Price. Can't draft him. Can't draft him.
13:32My quantitative thinks that Jacobs is in the same as Saquon and Brees.
13:36I mean, does not surprise me that my quantitative would be quite high on Josh Jacobs.
13:40All right. We are about to be up. I'm, I'm assuming you're going to be a big Tyler Warren slappy here.
13:47I'm, I'm fine with it. I probably prefer except now the coaching staff says that he's almost back, but this is, this is, this is Gronk.
13:55Take it or leave it. This is Gronk. This isn't so far away from Gronk, dude.
14:00Just wait. Okay. Listen, I watched his, his rookie year.
14:03I had a bet with my roommate that he would score more touchdowns than Hernandez and I won there.
14:09There, there, there is a player who is on the Rob Gronkowski career path.
14:13It's just, he doesn't play for the Indianapolis Colts.
14:16Well, I mean, I just feel like they are similar players and they, they move similarly.
14:21So they are so not similar players. First off, they are the same age.
14:25First off, they're the same age right now. Who?
14:28Tyler Warren and Brock Bowers are the same. No, I'm saying Gronk, Gronk, Gronk.
14:32I've been talking about Gronk. Brother, Tyler Warren, very, very different.
14:35Gronk. Tyler Warren could be Gronk. Closest, closest comps for Tyler Warren, Evan Ingram, Austin, Saffarin Jenkins, TJ Hawkinson, Aaron Hernandez, Fant, Laporta, Gresham.
14:43Closest comps for Brock Bowers. I mean, I think you guys already know who the closest comps for Brock Bowers are going
14:49to be after his, you know, Eric LeBron. Well, I got it.
14:53You got to switch it to the age 21 season because this includes the three injury games.
14:58All I'm telling you is that Tyler Warren has it in front of him to be Gronk on a worse team.
15:05That's all. Gronk, Gronk is, I know Gronk. I'm from here.
15:08I watched him the whole time. I love it.
15:11I know Gronk. I live in Rhode Island. I know Gronk.
15:14He's over here all the time. Yeah. But yes, I mean, Bowers is, Bowers is probably going to end up having, my
15:21guess would be this is going to be the highest scoring tight end season of all time.
15:26I'm in on Bowers. I think I have like 16% Bowers.
15:2916% of a second round player is a real lot for me.
15:33Guys, Tyler Warren, I just, I need everyone to know Tyler Warren and Brock Bowers are the same age.
15:39These are not similar players, brother. Yeah, I know they're not.
15:42I don't think Tyler Warren is similar to Brock Bowers.
15:45I said he's similar to Gronk. That's all. He's similar to Gronk as a player and Gronk would not have been Gronk without Brady.
15:53He would not have been Gronk without Brady. The Tyler, the Tyler Warren pick feels really, really bad.
15:58So this also is not true that Tyler Warren was the Zoff.
16:02He, this is, this is also not true. I didn't say, yeah, I don't co-sign that.
16:07Loveland is not Gronk. Loveland is Kelsey, guys. Look at players' bodies.
16:10What are we, what are we, what are we doing?
16:13Ooh. QJ. God, are you serious, dude? Horrible. Yes.
16:16I mean, that, that, that is a terrible pick.
16:19It's not going to matter what he's the clear wide receiver one over there.
16:23You're going to be happy you took him. That's a bad pick.
16:27You don't think he's going to be the wide receiver one over there?
16:31I mean, most people don't. QJ at 79 is so brutal, dude.
16:34It's true, but the whole reason that's a bad pick is because you know you had him at like 130 earlier in the year.
16:42You know, he would be a fine pick if you didn't have that context, I think.
16:47Just like the, the role is not even that good.
16:50It's just, it's just all like touchdown based. The role is not that good because I watched him play in this configuration
16:56last year and it was not that good. Mike McDaniels offense last year.
17:00Okay. What about Mike McDaniels offense says, you know what I'm going to do?
17:05I'm going to target the guy who's got bad hands.
17:08Mike McDaniels has been saying this himself. He said he looks like Julio Jones.
17:12Davis, you got to wake up, brother. Where's Mason?
17:15Where's Mason? I was going to say Mason, Mason is, he's going, he's all, he's all in on, where's Mason when you need him right now, man.
17:23It's too bad. Mason had to take those cameras out from his, his store.
17:27Those flock cameras not selling too hot anymore. I did.
17:30I did enjoy the Brock Purdy quote on my guy stripling about stripling yesterday.
17:35Dude's a baller. Dude. Yeah. All right. Yep. I did.
17:38I did enjoy that. And, and you got the combo of Purdy says he's a baller as Christian Kirk hobbles off with a calf strain the first day.
17:46I mean, who could have ever predicted who could have predicted that Christian Kirk would?
17:51It is hilarious. It's objectively hilarious that Christian Kirk strained his calf the first day.
17:55It's pretty funny. It really, it really is. He's the most theoretical player of all time.
18:00He is. I mean, Hubbard is still here. So we are, we are in legitimate, I mean, we got to take Hubbard.
18:07Okay. All right. Even, I mean, don't twist my arm.
18:10Even if this is where Hubbard's ADP is ultimately going, which it, it probably is like, Oh, we, we all know where
18:17this is going, which is that Hubbard is going higher, higher, and said like the numbers going higher and Jonathan Brooks is
18:24going lower and like they're, they're going to meet.
18:26I just don't have it in me to pass on a guy who was going in the fifties at 90.
18:32I just feel like it's, you know, it's silly.
18:35This is what happens every year. Brooks is going to get chased up and eventually you're going to get some bad news and then he'll fall again.
18:43I mean, we haven't even really seen him run full speed.
18:47We've seen him like on a long lens. Someone's like tracking him on a long lens.
18:52Like Dalvin Cook on the jets looked like he was going 80 miles per hour and that kind of shot.
18:58We just don't, we don't know yet. I would, I would take safety with Hubbard in round eight for sure.
19:04And this RB economy in this economy, give me Hubbard.
19:07I don't even, I mean, like I think Hubbard will probably get the first carry of this upcoming season.
19:13You know, I, I mean, I don't, I don't know how much it's worth, but it will, it will probably happen.
19:19There you go. Hubbard at 90, Brooks at 95.
19:22Maybe Brooks is better. Brooks was theoretically better and he tore his ACL and he fell and then he stepped on a field and he tore it again.
19:30So like, how do we assume that if even if Brooks is healthy, he's who he was two years ago, two torn ACLs ago?
19:38Like, how do we assume that? It's dumb to assume that.
19:41I am up. Yeah. All right. We are up in two picks.
19:45Worthy makes sense. Pittman jr. Makes sense. Probably would skip on Wilson for a quarterback.
19:49We have love. Knicks. Herbert is gone. And then Daniel Jones later.
19:53I like quarterback here. I do like quarterback here.
19:56Knicks, Knicks pairs with them. Stafford, I think is way underpriced in general and under projected in general.
20:01This is a, this is a pretty big dipperino on worthy.
20:05Okay. Well, I mean, I'm not going to deprive you of your most favorite thing in the entire world.
20:11Well, the issue is, is, is, is Knicks will not come back.
20:14Actually, you know what? Knicks might come back to us.
20:17we can, we can, we can take worthy. It's fine.
20:20Because, because the Sutton drafter has Lawrence and they also have Chuck set up.
20:25And so there, there's a chance that Knicks floats back to us.
20:28I mean, it's, it's light. We also have, um, Knicks also recovering from injury that will limit his mobility.
20:34It's true. Yeah. Much like my house. Yeah. Yeah.
20:37It's, it's, I mean, Knicks led the NFL in past attempts last year, which is, he ran too.
20:42And the threat of mobility helps you, but even when you're in the pocket, when you're behind the line of scrimmage, if
20:49you're, if you're mobile people, it's different, you know?
20:52Yeah. Yeah. I do think Taekwon Thornton, uh, is live to just outscore Xavier Worthy this year though.
20:57Like straight. I would be very surprised if it happened this year, because teams just generally cling so close to their priors.
21:04They just, it's like, okay, this guy was a, this guy was a first round draft pick.
21:09So I'm probably, well, what about when worthy just gets hurt?
21:13When worthy gets hurt, then Thornton with Ken Walker threatening is going to be open.
21:17Like every play. It's not like, it's not like Thornton is that much bigger than worthy though.
21:22Thornton was worthy first. Okay. Next, next does go to the Sutton team.
21:26Thornton was worthy. I saw a third first game in person.
21:30He, the guy is a peanut Taekwon Taekwon, you know, famously one, one, one or $2 million for our, our close associate, one, Mr.
21:37Patrick Corrine. He sure did. People, people forget. Yep.
21:40Yeah. Um, all right. Well, we're about to back up here.
21:43What are we, what are we doing? I feel like we could, uh, I don't like Kittle.
21:48We just, we just got to take one of our quarter, whichever quarterback love.
21:53We have the stack. Goff, Goff, Goff, Goff. We did not take St.
21:57Brown. We took McCaffrey. Oh yeah, that's right. I mean, to be honest with you, I'm crazy.
22:02I would take naked Stafford over Jordan Love with Watson right now because Stafford is going to throw a buddy.
22:08That's the MVP. That's the MVP. Not, not naked for very long.
22:12Oh no, don't know. If we, if we take Stafford, we're doing it.
22:16If we're taking Stafford, we're doing that. So choose.

22:50You think, you know, a browser, but Gemini and Chrome that's new.
22:53It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page restoration block, or finally break down that long article.
23:02You've had open for weeks. Gemini and Chrome is here for it.
23:06Ready to make anything online. Make sense. There's no place like Chrome check responses, set up, required compatibility and availability.
23:12Various 18 plus. Don't take Stafford. Okay. I do think he's worth taking naked, even if you want it to though.
23:18And I do tack on Parkinson. He and, he and golf have to be the worst naked quarterbacks because there's, there really
23:25is no world where, even if it's a good advance rate pick, there's no world.
23:30You get Stafford to week 17 and you win using Stafford score.
23:33I disagree completely. Stafford. There's no, there's no world.
23:36How many touchdowns do you think Stafford is going to throw this year?
23:40This year. Like 28. Only 28. You think only 28, the MVP who has Puka and Devante Adams and probably Devo Samuel and Terrence Ferguson.
23:48What is my, all right, let's see. What do we think?
23:51What do we think my quantitative has? Guess. I don't know.
23:54Guess. 30.5. He definitely was not at 30. I'm going to guess 28.
23:58Okay. You tell me. What did he do last year?
24:01He had like 40. Wow. 35. That is actually stunning.
24:04I told you Davis. That is so many passing touchdowns.
24:07I told you. So this is what I'm saying.
24:10He's worth it to take naked because he has so many options to score touchdowns.
24:15no. He, he, he is, he is legitimately an awful, awful, awful selection.
24:19I would agree with you if he was like four rounds more expensive, I would agree with you, but he's not.
24:25No, no. This is the MVP who threw 30, however, 40 touchdowns last year.
24:29He's going to, what if he throws 35? Yes.
24:32He's going to throw 35 touchdowns to guys that we do not have.
24:36So what? Other people draft terribly. Like, how could you, it's, it's, if this is a math game, then it makes sense.
24:43You know what I mean? If you can get those points there, you should take them.
24:48What does the chat think? Tell me. They don't, they don't know, dude.
24:52I know they agree with me. do not, do not appeal.
24:55Do not appeal to these guys. No, no, incorrect.
24:58So no, no, no good. Uh, all right. We're about to be back up.
25:02We have a one four, four, one build. Shuck makes a little bit of sense.
25:07Willis makes a little bit of sense. Shahid gives us a back door.
25:11Coker gives us a back door. Uh, we, I mean, this is a small dipper Reno on Kelsey.
25:16What do you want to do? I shock is my most drafted quarterback.
25:20I would take shock here, especially after Andrew's, goes because Andrew's is, Andrew's is the dude.
25:25I have 20% of both of them. Why is shock?
25:28You're most drafted quarterback. I think he's going to run a lot.
25:32And I, I like what I saw out of him, um, in big moments last year down the stretch.
25:38And they added Tyson. Um, and, and they added Etienne who can catch as well, pretty well.
25:43And they have veille who's better than you think as well.
25:46Um, I just feel like this dude, I mean, we saw, they lay, they have veille.
25:51Yeah. Which matters. Yes. Um, but Chuck is going to run.
25:54I think people forget that Chuck had that two TV running game last year.
25:59Like it works for them. And he was pushing, they didn't have a shot, but he was, he was trying.
26:05And, and it, I think it was working, working enough for them to draft a wide receiver eight overall.
26:11You know, are you out on Chuck? You in on Chuck?
26:14Oh no, I love Chuck. He's, he's also one of my more drafted guys.
26:18I'm, I'm, you can't optimize for week 17, but you can set your roster up for week 17.
26:24I'm not trying to be like this specific thing.
26:27Like something like Liam loves to do is like, this team is playing this dog shit defense in week 17.
26:33So I'm going to over index on that. And I'm like, whatever, I don't know, go with God.
26:38But, um, I prefer the highest projected options and, and Stafford, Stafford, no Puka, no Adams is not going to sim.
26:45Well, I don't know. I disagree. I think, I think you can win in many, many ways.
26:50And also you can fucking use Stafford to get to the playoffs and he can not hit your lineup in the playoffs.
26:56That can happen too. Like pieces are valuable that get you there, even if they're not hitting in 17.
27:02Well, I mean, it would have been fine because we could have backstacked him, but you chose not to do that option.
27:09You, you, I totally did. This is, I would, I would have been happy.
27:13I would have been happy to take him there.
27:16It's true. I am arguing against myself. We have a two, four, four, one.
27:20I think we should probably just take dimes here and be done with it.
27:25You think so? What about Goddard? Uh, we already have 10 touchdown.
27:28What about 10 red? We are, we are, we are, our worst position right now is, tight end or a quarterback.
27:35Okay. All right, go ahead. And we are next stacking option.
27:38There, there was not one. That's fair. Yeah, that's fair.
27:41These are three, like you're lucky if you get 23 points from one of them.
27:46Correct. These are, these are our bad quarterbacks and worthy to me.
27:49We're the over next is fine. Like I, I do not think Bo Nix is that good of a quarterback and we are relatively weak at wide receiver.
27:58Well, it's true. Yeah. I I'm fine with taking worthy.
28:01I do think there's a larger chance that he's around 14 pick than around three pick next year.
28:07But you know, I think he probably is going to go almost exactly where he's going this year.
28:12Maybe. Yeah. No, especially if Kelsey's out. I think he will just run back.
28:16I think he, he's probably going to get about 800 yards and four touchdowns.
28:21And that is right about where he's being projected.
28:23He's going to go right about in the same range.
28:26Totally. That's my, that's my, my guess. It could, it could, it could be, or he could, I mean, those, you know,
28:33training videos we saw of him with those big ass, like two sizes, two big shoes.
28:38And that he was wearing the air forces. I don't know.
28:41I don't know what he was wearing my mom's jacket from the eighties with shoulder pads in it.
28:47Like this guy, I mean, if that was real bearish.
28:50Yeah. Three quarterbacks in a row. Huh? Look at us.
28:53Look at this. Look at this block of purple there.
28:56Look at us. Who would have thought? Who would have thought you would be drafting Daniel Jones fully cleared?
29:02Yeah, he's that's, I mean, I just had like almost no interest in the Colts.
29:06I don't, I'm not even that high on downs compared to my slappy brethren.
29:11Yeah. I mean, points come from everywhere. Even if, even if teams are bad, you know, someone like downs can be fine.
29:17Someone like Jones who won't run could suffer if they're really bad, but with Warren it's worth it.
29:23If Warren works, Jones works right. The only reason I let's take Juwan, right?
29:27Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Stack stack. The only reason I ever take Tyler Warren is just because he's in that range with all
29:34the quarterbacks and I don't always want to take Barker Washington.
29:37I do. I do think that, um, I mean, Warren is just like, to me, not a particularly good pick.
29:43Oh, why? He's the first option on the team.
29:46He's the first, first passing option on the team, especially with Pierce out for, you know, possibly the beginning of the year.
29:53He will lose the targets per route run battle to Josh downs for sure.
29:57He won't. He's going to be wide open all the time.
30:01Cause they're going to be doing play action. That's what he eats on.
30:04That's like what, I mean, I like downs. I like downs too, but Warren is going to be the first option in that passing game.
30:12Yeah. Um, okay. Well, this is our team. Jordan love Tyler shock, Daniel Jones, Christian McCaffrey, Devin, a chain, Brie Saul, Chuba
30:19Hubbard, Jalen Waddle, Christian Watson, big Q, Xavier worthy, Tyler Warren and Juwan Johnson.
30:23I like it. If we were, if we're winning flex with running back, our quarterback room's okay.
30:28You know, that's, that's how I feel. I don't know how much flexing we are going to be winning.
30:34I mean, with our running backs, we took three.
30:37We took three. We better, you know, one of them is going to be bad every week.
30:42Right. I mean, that's just the normal distribution. One of them is going to be bad.
30:47So it's, it's really actually relying on, on Mr.
30:50Hubbard quite a bit. Right. The combo of Brees and Hubbard.
30:53We are up. What do you think about taking stripling about stripling or Camara or Camara?
30:58Oh, don't threaten me with a good time. We should take, let's, let's see if Camara comes back.
31:03We should take stripling because we need some help.
31:06Our, our, I was gonna say our wide receivers suck.
31:09Yeah. Yeah. Many, many such cases. Honestly, that's kind of like the MO this year.
31:14This is, that's like the move this year is like, if your wide receivers don't suck, your team sucks.
31:20Yeah. Yeah. You're probably right. I, and I honestly, I, I'm, I'm really trying to not be too influenced by training camp things that are happening early on.
31:28Like, I think you're, you're going to be like a dog chasing your own tail.
31:33Totally. Trying to follow every training camp thing that happens.
31:36But the one, like the thing that needed to happen for stripling was for Kirk to be injured in training camp, not
31:43even just for week one, but just so he's working with the first team and that the coaching staff sees him out
31:49there with Evans, with Pierce, Saul with McCaffrey. And, and it literally happened the first day, the first day, the first day.
31:56Yeah. I like, I, when I didn't want to be in on stripling, but there's, there's simply no, like they just got Juwan Jennings, but younger and better.
32:05Like they just got, he's Juwan Jennings, but better just that's fine.
32:08Take them there. I mean, even if he's not Juwan Jennings, like even if he's not Juwan Jennings, but better, and he's
32:15just Juwan Jennings, the sequel, I think this is an appropriate price.
32:19He went after. Yeah. He went after Jalen Naylor.
32:21He went after Trey Tucker. He went after a rookie wide receiver, two rookie wide receivers on the Cleveland Browns.
32:28That is like one of, one of those ADPs Boston or conception is we're going to look back on the end of
32:34the year and we're going to be like three Browns wide receivers got drafted in every draft, huh?
32:40It's pretty unhinged. It's not like us. Yeah. It's not like us.
32:43Like right now here. All right. This is, this will be good.
32:47I'm going to check our quantitative. So our quant has Denzel Boston for 132 PPR points.
32:52I mean, what does he have? Casey? Well, he's got, he's got them all compressed.
32:57He has conception for one 62 Judy for one 38 and Boston for one 32.
33:01My guess is Boston, Casey. I was going to say my, my guess is, is that there's not going to be a normal distribution there.
33:09One of them is going to have to go way lower.
33:12Judy's going to be so annoying, dude. Just take him.
33:15Cause he's going to be so annoying. Judy is the one I take the most of.
33:20Yeah. He's going to be. All right. We are up.
33:23I would take Gunner Helm. The jester Gooner. Dude.
33:26He's so good. The jester. Helm. Helm is, is the Oklahoma Gooner.
33:30I was going to say he's, he is, uh, he is close.
33:33I think he's my second most drafted guy. Um, at this point at the time, sometimes it's obvious Davis.
33:39Sometimes it's obvious. And within this case, Helm is even more obvious than Ferguson.
33:43Ferguson is, is so obvious to anyone with eyes to see, but Helm is even more obvious.
33:49Yes. I'll just say, yeah, Helm is the most obvious Gary Barnage season of all time.
33:53Dude. Yeah. Gary Barnage. Like if Helm didn't have that foot thing and post that picture, like he probably would have gone a lot earlier.
34:01And I mean, if he didn't have the foot issue, he probably would have done a lot better last year.
34:07He's just like, sometimes, you know, the dude's name is Gunner Helm.
34:11It looks great. Draft them. Yeah. Um, all right.
34:14Well, there you go. So now we have our three tight ends.
34:17We have our three quarterbacks. We need one more running back and two, more wide receivers.
34:22There are, there's at least two more wide receivers on the board that I don't mind clicking.
34:27So we're, we're okay. Devon Valey. Valey is, is legitimately unclickable.
34:31Have you considered that they're both six foot five and old?
34:34He's going to get, he's going to get his change snatched by Bryce Lance.
34:38Dude. He's just, Chuck is going to throw it up higher than the other guy can get it.
34:44And, and he's Valey is, is like Jennings, but a little bit stronger and taller.
34:48Yeah. What do you want to do with this pick?
34:52What would you be thinking? Show me the board.
34:54I may not show me the selection here. Um, I actually am in on branch.
34:59I'm in on branch. I like, I like branch and Bernard.
35:02Yeah. I'm more in on branch just because of the, the vac, the vacuum left, the, the vacant hole left of targets over there.
35:10He can just go get in there, take them all.
35:13He's quick. If he can get open, do you want to take branch or Jeremy?
35:17Branch. A lot of ways that can go wrong.
35:20London's always going down. Well, there was, there was a new, there was a new report this morning that the Falcons are
35:27quietly one of the digs teams, which makes sense the entire time.
35:30Diggs would be very bad for Zachariah branch. Well, what?
35:33Like branch is just better than digs right now though.
35:36He could be, I think, I think regardless branch has a clear role.
35:40Like he's kind of the McCall Hardman. Style, style guy, you know, maybe, I mean, like how small is he exactly?
35:47See, like one, very small. See, like one 80 or some smaller, smaller, smaller than one 80.
35:52Yeah. Somebody fact check this man. Is that true?
35:55Zachariah branch. There's no way. Combine. No ways. Less than like Devonta Smith.
35:59Yeah. Yeah. He, Oh, one 77, five, eight though.
36:02Five, I mean, this is your archetype that you've traditionally liked.
36:05I was going to say, like Zachariah branch is one of my most drafted guys.
36:09When I overlapped, when the Venn diagram of what I like and what you guys like overlapped is when the role is just up for grabs.
36:17When the, it's obvious that this dude like is going to, he's going to have to fuck up to not be on the field.
36:25That's how I feel about branch. Uh, I think we should take Katron here.
36:29Um, you're welcome to, I've never taken him. I think he's a terrible pick, but that's fine.
36:34I think Mike Washington is an infinitely better. Tell me why, tell me why he's a bad pick.
36:40What round did he get drafted in? Like the sixth round in, in an ambiguous, give me a running back.
36:46Give me a running back. Washington, Washington, Washington, Mike Washington.
36:49The issue is, is with this team. I actually think we need a guy who's going to play.
36:54I don't think we need a man. Come on in.
36:57All right. Or Kalon. Yeah, no, no. So I, so there's a weird, there's a weird thing going on with the 49ers right now.
37:05They open training camp yesterday. Jordan James is the running back to playing with the twos.
37:10gets hurt, limps off, doesn't come back to practice.
37:12So, so we literally, we, we literally, we literally get the report that we literally get the report.
37:18We know who the running back to is. He immediately limps off and is going with the, is going to the trainers.
37:25I mean, that is to me, that is, that is the classic, classic training camp stuff.
37:30I mean, you just, you don't get, you don't get better than that.
37:34Chef's kiss, you know, it's, it's, it's, you know, that, the only difference, the only thing that could have been better is
37:40if it was the same tweet, you know? I mean, we are, we are just hoping that one of these guys behind
37:47us does not select Calvin Ridley, but you never know.
37:50Mike Washington, why are you not in on the running back to for?
37:54No, no, I'm fine. I'm fine with Mike Washington, but on this build where we have Hubbard who could go to zero pretty quickly.
38:01We need a player who is going to be like generating touches in, in week one.
38:06Well, why do you think Katron is? Cause you're assuming white is going to be a passing down back and that he's might be better than Jason.
38:15We got to take Ridley here, right? Oh, I don't take Ridley, but we'll do what you want.
38:20I don't take him. Um, the reason why you would take Katron is Katron can just, he could just be the week
38:27one starting running back for the commies the same way that JCM was.
38:31Yeah, but dude, that's pattern matching in the worst possible way.
38:34I think like, well, I don't, I mean, I, JCM is one of my most drafted guys, but it like that is
38:41in the range of outcomes for the Washington commanders.
38:44Yeah, but you're taking them. I mean, I get that at the end of the draft, the capital doesn't matter too much,
38:50but I think it's really thin that like, I mean, he might not even make the team.
38:55He is going to make, he's going to make the team.
38:59It's going to be, they're going to, they're going to do, um, they're going to do Robert Henry.
39:04They're going to do Robert Henry jr. Well, what's the upside that he's a squad guy.
39:09The upside is the, the upside is that he is Chris Rodriguez from last year.
39:14I mean, he's old too, right? He's 23. Katron.
39:17Yeah. Well, I mean, I guess he could be Chris Rodriguez and that would be a win, but that would be a,
39:23that would be a huge win for a 17th round pick by Videl.
39:27Oh, Videl was fine though. I think Videl is a better.
39:31Yeah. I get, I get the, I get the case.
39:34It's a thing. It's like why I didn't take Taj Brooks is why I didn't take Jarquez Hunter.
39:39Like I, I get it, but like there, they are thinner bets than, than I think you guys know, or at least you guys acknowledge.
39:47I feel like it's who. Sure. Anybody who's taken Katron Allen, like, and thinks it's, it's like a coin flip that he
39:54gets a role or something like that. It's, I think it's less like, I think it's probably more like 10 to 15%
40:00that that dude gets what you want. Maybe even less, maybe like five to 10%.
40:05Napkin math. I think it's higher than 5%. I think it is.
40:09It's between like five and 25%. The Katron Allen gets a rush week one.
40:13Well, that's a different bet. And I would say that that's true.
40:16I would agree with you actually there. Then he's probably, he's probably a pretty good pick given how shaky the other backs are.
40:24Why did he, what round did he go in?
40:26What round did he get drafted in? That Matt, it does matter that the fifth round.
40:31Okay. Well, it's, it's not great. I just, I want everyone to know that Chuba Hubbard went to zero last year.
40:38I just, I, I, I love, I love all you guys.
40:41The chat is chirping that Chuba was hurt last year.
40:44I cannot verify. Chuba, Chuba went to zero last year.
40:47We, we, we did. Chuba Hubbard got his chain snatched.
40:50It was embarrassing. As someone who drafted Chuba a bunch last year, it was pretty embarrassing.
40:55Guys, I love you, but he went, he went 17 rushes, 10 rushes, zero, zero, 7.5, 9.4, 1.7, 2.5, 3.8, 8.3, 20.4.
41:02I do not remember this game at all. Uh, that was the game they won.
41:06That was the overtime game. Did he do that?
41:09That was the game they won 4.8, 4.4, 2.8, 3.7.
41:12Love you guys. Have a lot of respect for you guys.
41:15He, he went to zero, bro. He hurt his calf.
41:19He, he hurt it. Yeah. Bindle. Dude, he hurt his calf.
41:22He, he was hurt. He was hurt. His feelings were hurt.
41:25Jake. That's the only thing that was hurt. Just as few guys, not as calf.
41:30His feelings don't, are not in his calf. I love, I love and respect all of you, but this is, this is really, really bad.
41:38This is very, very bad analysis. It's yeah, it's true.
41:41As someone who's taking you to, but we just took him on the team.
41:45We just took him on the team, but I, I need you.
41:49I need you guys. I need you guys to be serious.
41:52He did. Now to be fair, he took his chain back in the post season.
41:56He didn't, the issue is it was given back to him.
42:00It was returned to him. The, I was going to say, the issue is, is that his chain might've been snatched by a guy who has no knees.
42:08Right? So it's, it's the most, yeah, literally a theoretical player.
42:12All right. Well, how did we do Jordan love Tyler shock, Daniel Jones, CMC, HN, Brees, Chuba, Kamani, Vidal, Jalen Waddle, Christian
42:18Watson, QJ, worthy, stripling, Zachary branch, Ridley, Tyler Warren, Juwan Johnson, Gunner Helm.
42:22I think it's a strong team. Wow. B plus advancement, B plus ADP, B minus uniqueness.
42:27Seems, seems fine. Seems pretty good. Yeah. I mean, I, I think it's a strong team.
42:32I tend to build balance. Um, like even if I start a little bit extreme, I try to like catch up and
42:39build balanced because you know, the crowd isn't always the wisest, but they kind of know, they kind of do know where
42:46the points are going to come from. So I just, I will, I will take any player who is not currently injured 10 spots after ADP.
42:54I will take, I will take DJ more 10 spots after ADP.
42:57I will take Baker. Maybe I will take any player 10 spots after ADP.
43:02Yeah. Whatever, whatever opinions I have are so weakly held that.
43:05I mean, this is basically like the, I think that's something that people don't like about best ball is it doesn't particularly reward player takes.
43:13Like who's the guy. I always forget his name.
43:15FFB something wizard wizard wizard wizard wizard. He, he has advanced the most teams of all time.
43:21And I believe never had a finals team. Yeah.
43:23Because I think it was come out. He's so heavy on Camara and Henry last year.
43:28I remember that. But the point is, the point is, is that it doesn't matter.
43:33Right. You, you basically, the way that you get good at best ball is just trying to build a bunch of like
43:39ADP, like CLV teams, both real time and closing line that are correlated.
43:43Yeah. And I think that like your fades are more important than your stands.
43:48If you, if you fade, even soft fades, even mild fades, like just like having under the field on the right guys
43:54in the earlier rounds is more important than I think hitting a lot on like the later guys, because that's it.
44:01I know that's probably not a popular opinion, but that's, it's worked out.
44:05And as Lisa, as far as advancing. See, I would say this is basically the dumbest thing imaginable.
44:10Like, no, what matters is what, like, I don't know.
44:13What matters the most is getting yourself as many shots on goal as possible and putting yourself in the position to be, to take advantage of luck.
44:22Like you need to put yourself in the position to take advantage of luck.
44:26And it's going to take years and years and years.
44:29It's just going to take years because you can't determine when the luck comes, you know?
44:34Yeah. I mean, I, I would just say most people are probably bad, bad, but it's obfuscated by the fact that it's
44:41a game with a ton of variance. Like you would need, you would just need so many different slates to play out, to have any idea.
44:49You're totally right. Because, um, like your player take, people come into this from, uh, dynasty and from redraft where player takes
44:55matter a lot because you only have a handful of teams usually.
44:59And then you come into this and you're like, well, this is how I draft.
45:04Um, and then you end up with like 30% Rashad Penny and that doesn't work out.
45:08So then you try, then you try and think about having a little bit of hubris while still presenting as, as though
45:15you're confident and drafting like you're confident. But I mean, you really need to just be open to taking everybody.
45:21So we're going to do a badge bros brawl before my guy, Derek Brown from fantasy pros pops on.
45:27I would say like two things you need to know strategically in the badge bros brawl is you got to take three quarterbacks.
45:34You got to take three tight ends because you are going to need giga spikes at those positions every single week to
45:41be the advancing team in your pod. And actually the thing is, is the ADP is a little bit weird and you
45:48can scroll and you can do some weird stuff, but most people are probably going to scroll a little bit too much
45:54is, is kind of how it works. Yes. Um, this is my first badge bros brawl.
45:59So, I'm going in kind of blind as to how to approach this thing.
46:03All right. Well, it's a regular best ball draft, but instead of 12 teams, there are six teams.
46:09Okay. All right. So 18 rounds and you just have everybody stacked.
46:13You stacking obviously is, is super important. Um, same, same roster construction, same, same scoring, you know, that's, uh, that's how it works.
46:20I would assume like overstacking might be the play.
46:22That could be interesting. The thing is, the thing is, is you need big ceiling winks over stacking the right teams, I guess.
46:29Yeah. Or the undervalued teams. Let me tell you.
46:32So a big thing that I've noticed, we're going to start with JSN.
46:36Sure. What you, what you really, really need is you actually need the giga mega ceilings at wide receiver.
46:42I mean, obviously B John and CMC and James cook and all these guys are going to be really good, but you
46:49know, and we're going to take St. Brown as well.
46:52All right. So I, I kind of just, I kind of just, uh, had this epiphany this morning, which is that when
46:58we get to, when we get to week 10, JSN and St.
47:02Brown are still going to project insanely. Well, no one else is going to be like these six wide receivers who just went chase, Puka, JSN, St.
47:10Brown, Lamb and Jefferson. Johnson are in their own quadrant, their own group of projection, a wide receiver.
47:16Maybe you could argue for AJ Brown and London.
47:19I would disagree with you. Um, I tend to agree.
47:22I think an immediate gal brain that I have is like, take ADP followers at wide receiver and running back for the
47:28first, like four or five rounds and then stack teams that things are going to be issue is.
47:34And we already got sussed out by this one, which is that Bowers and McBride are the two most important men alive in this contest.
47:42They're, they're super important. Well, not in this universe, which running back do you want to take here?
47:47This episode is brought to you by Welch's fruit snacks.

48:03It's a snack kids already love and one you can feel good about giving them.

48:35Karma. You can count on download today. Let's take KW three.
48:39Let's take Kenny. Fine. Fine with that. And then we can ship.
48:42I have a hard time with Hampton. I have a hard, I don't know about the brawl, but I have a hard time with Hampton.
48:50Well, we can take Colston Loveland with our next pick.
48:53Oh yes, we can. We can take, we can take, uh, our, our generations.
48:57I, I think that the one thing that people have not quite grasped about this format is how important the, these, these tight ends.
49:05I would even include Loveland in there. I mean, obviously he's a different category of projection, but I, I actually, the, the
49:11day of the contest opened, I just fired, um, like five of these off real quick.
49:16And I took Bowers and McBride both. Like I took both of them.
49:20Um, and I think they, they patched that a little bit.
49:24It's harder to get because people understand the contest a little bit more, but it's, it, it's the biggest edge in the contest.
49:31I think I can totally see that. Um, I mean, you can convince me of anything, especially, especially, you're not having to do the class.
49:38I mean, this is the classic problem in fantasy football, uh, name, name someone you want to take here.
49:44Anyone, anyone you want. Um, give me, give me Devonta.
49:47Give me Devonta Smith. So the, you know, the classic thing in fantasy football is, yeah, it's so, it's so nice to
49:54have, Brock Bowers is points, but that means I'm starting jail and Warren at running back to that.
49:59That problem doesn't exist, uh, in this format. I'm going to take Devonta Williams.
50:04Ooh, I dude, you, Brees Hall is going to, is going to be the key this year.
50:09Brees Hall is going to be the key. He's going to be, he's in that spot.
50:14He's in that spot where, where, what he's going to do in my opinion is going to matter a lot.
50:20He's in the sake one and the JT spot.
50:23It's going to be him. People left him for dead.
50:26They're disappointed. He's super talented. He's got the opportunity.
50:28He just got paid. I mean, I think that, that Brees Hall is kind of a, he's like a pretty good best ball pick.
50:36Cause he's just going to kind of grind out a bunch of 14, 15 point games, but it's hard to see.
50:42To me, it's hard to see the maximum ceiling for a team that is going to be bottom third in the league
50:49in total touchdowns of just a lot of Brees cannot give up any high value touches to Isaiah Davis or Braylon Allen.
50:56If he's going to be the guy that matters that much.
50:59Ideally, you don't want him to. Yeah. but I mean, he's going to get a lot of work through the air as well, I think.
51:07And he breaks him. He we've seen him break him.
51:10We know he can break him. Dude. I think Brees is a top is probably like the fifth most talented running back in the league for sure.
51:18Brees is that good. What do you want to take?
51:21Um, I don't know about the strategy here. Should we take another running back?
51:25Feels like it. Yeah, I think we should. Jacobs then.
51:28Yeah. I, I like in this format, Jacobs neighbors, some of the, just some of the, the general questionable guys.
51:35Uh, they released this contest. I think last Thursday, I want to say.
51:38Yeah. Um, we're up. Let's also let's nab, uh, let's nab Caleb.
51:42Yes. You, you, I like, again, the value over replacement formula changes and finishing quarterback.
51:47It, it, it sounds backwards, but finishing quarterback three in this format actually matters more than finishing quarterback three in a 12
51:53man based on the way I've thought through it.
51:56Now, I mean, maybe sacrilegious and shady. We'll do a bunch of math.
52:00They'll say, actually, you should be taking Jackson dart and you shouldn't be taking, you need to, you need more, you need
52:07more projectable points, but you, if you particularly, I think want to have the spike week rushing quarterbacks.
52:12Um, do you think, do you think that you could get weird with this one?
52:17So is it, so what is it? Two of six advance at first or one from the, one.
52:23Okay. One of six, one of five, one of five.
52:26Like, uh, four QB and made three city. You wouldn't, you would not want to do, you would not, Jacoby and Deshaun Watson.
52:33You would not want to do four because you, the, the flex scores are going to be so high in this format.
52:39Well, maybe we hold off on the other two quarterbacks unless you already have to.
52:44That's fine. I took, I took Rome for us there.
52:47Cause we're going to do a little, I like real double.
52:50I I'm in on Rome. Unfortunately, didn't want to be, but my hands are tied.
52:55I'm, I'm, I'm lower than the market on Rome for sure.
52:58We need to save quarterback. Don't take quarterback here.
53:01All right. Save it. Let's try and like, try and get Gino and preset later.
53:06We we're not taking Jacoby preset in this format.
53:08Why? He did not use a bad pick. Why?
53:11Tell me why. Just not, just doesn't project for enough raw points.
53:15He would have to be so low owned in the overall contest.
53:18And I, I, my guess is, is he going on drafted?
53:22Yeah. Like easily on draft that you should, Oh, you should definitely take him.
53:26He's going to, what do you mean? He project, how did, what do you think he's going to project?
53:32So three, so three times six is 18. So 18 quarterbacks get drafted and 18 tight ends.
53:37Okay. All right. Yeah. How many, how many times is Jacoby preset going to be one of the best, 18 quarterbacks versus how many times is he drafted?
53:46Okay. Well, I guess that's true. If, if when's the cutoff for when quarterbacks stop getting drafted, who, who's like the last quarterbacks with an ADP in this?
53:54Uh, well, quarterback 18 would be Jordan love. Hmm.
53:57All right. My idea is out the window. It's gone.
54:00Yeah, I know. I do do that a lot.
54:03I've been drafting a lot of those guys in, in regular best ball mania.
54:07Um, we could do it now golf. There's a guy who got, you know, golf will not be a hundred percent drafted.
54:14Let's do that. So we have golf St. Brown.
54:17Okay. Um, and what about, you know, I mean, do you want to take deck too with Javante?
54:22Uh, probably not. Cause I don't love taking first and we can take, we, you know what, Buck, I'm going to give,
54:29I'm going to give one to you here. You're going to give me Tucker craft.
54:33I'm going to give you Tucker craft. Oh yeah.
54:36My man. Go ahead. Start on pup baby. That's okay.
54:39I knew it. I knew you'd be there. Do you think he will be, I don't know.
54:44I hope they will. Tucker craft is going to be, I mean, Tucker craft is, if he is who he has been,
54:51uh, with Dobbs leaving, Dobbs leaving is big for craft.
54:54I think the type of targets that he would get Dobbs, Dobbs leaving is, is big for my guy, Matthew golden.
55:01Wow. Here we go. Fire hose or Monge quote, walked off practice field, then skipped his scheduled media appearance.
55:06Oh shit. That's crazy. I was going to say we could, we could probably get, we could probably steam.
55:12That's crazy. We could, we could trim him to, we could, uh, stream, could steam him to the two, three turn.
55:19I was just going to say he could go to the two, three turn.
55:23If something's wrong with Ramondre, who knows though? Maybe, I mean, if he walked off, then what could it be to get mad?
55:30He's not the kind of guy to get mad.
55:33I mean, maybe he is. I don't know. Personally, I suppose.
55:36Marijuana suspension at the university of Oklahoma, Ramondre Stevenson.
55:39That's a, that's my guy right there. Good for him.
55:42Yeah. Brothers in arms. Uh, I mean, we could even.
55:45Pits. We could, I was going to say we could, we could even do another tight end.
55:50I think price price to me is the last of like, uh, the, actually the premium tier of run.
55:56And we have JSN too. It's a nice little interesting stack with JSN.
56:00This is a fun format. This is fun. This could, this could be a fun thing to do.
56:05I just, I feel like I would completely get distracted from my normal routine.
56:10All right, here we go. Derek just sent this to me running back from Andre Stevenson.
56:15Also walked off the field at the very end of practice.
56:18Big day for K Sean booty. I mean, I did not expect the level of steam on the booty.
56:24The booty clapping will not stop. Big booty. Big booty is everywhere.
56:27Do you think, do you think it's just, do you, do you believe that it is just completely coordinated to try and up his trade value?
56:35I mean, I, I think you're just looking at a guy who has a connection with may and Brown and Dobbs are building it.
56:43That's all. I think, I think booty is better than you guys do.
56:47And now he's going to have no pressure on him.
56:50I think no one's going to cover that guy anymore.
56:53They're astro turfing to try and get a third round pick for him is what's happening.
56:58I mean, if that's the case, then he wants it to, because he's laying out for these catches.
57:03So if that's the case, then he wants it to is, is, is Herbert being engaged to a pop star, uh, bullish
57:10or, it's about the most bearish possible thing that could happen.
57:13You're lucky that the homes married a normal person.
57:16Yeah. You, I need, I need my quarterback beyond locked in.
57:19I need my, I need my quarterback 10 out of 10 locked in.
57:23Like just watch Travis Kelsey and see how terrible he's going to be this year.
57:28Cause he's distracted because he, he knows he's married to a billionaire and doesn't have to be doing it.
57:34All right. I love Malik Willis for this format where I'm like, man, although let's just take love.
57:39We have the, we have the two Packers. So my, my, my thinking for liking Malik Willis is the spike weeks, but
57:46actually the rushing stuff is much more of a floor giver than a ceiling giver.
57:51When you don't have the associated passing stuff and we're the passing stuff is not going to be there for Malik Willis.
57:57It's really not, it can't possibly be unless, unless they're just trying, they picked him to do something else other than what he's always done.
58:05Give me a wide receiver buck. Um, take, Ooh, how many times?
58:09How much did we get? 16 seconds. Scroll up to the top.
58:12Take read. Take read. All in, all in on the green Bay Packers.
58:16Yeah. This is actually kind of what I was thinking.
58:19Like over stack a team that goes mid to later that we might be underselling.
58:24You know, my guy, my, my flock league comrade Zupa here, only ring Herbert is going to get.
58:29They're saying it. They're saying it more and more.
58:32I'm hearing it. That is kind of brutal to be honest with you.
58:36All right, Buck, I'm about to send you on your way.
58:39What would you like to tell me? Um, go check out my YouTube channel, Buck St.
58:44Thomas, Buck St. Thomas fantasy football. I'm doing, um, fun videos.
58:48They're edited, edited drafts. And, um, I do a review of the team with my mother-in-law who I've been playing fantasy with for like 10 years.
58:56She plays DFS showdown and she's better than me.
58:58Uh, of all hooks that could exist for a best ball channel.
59:02It's like a little, uh, you know, there's a little wholesome element, even though, you know, we're, uh, you know, we're not
59:09exactly talking about the most wholesome thing. It's it's, it's fun.
59:12I hope you go check it out. I hope you subscribe.
59:16And, um, I'm planning on continuing to make videos with her throughout the year.
59:20I love that. I love that for you. And now you can give me one final wide receiver.
59:25Godwin Godwin for the win. Chris Godwin is who Buck wants to select.
59:29Just a dusty, dusty old man. There you go.
59:32Caleb Williams, Jared Goff, Jordan love Ken Walker, Javante Williams, Josh Jacobs, Tootin price, JSN, St.
59:37Brown, Devonta, Roma, Dunze, Ricky Pierce, all Jaden Reed, Chris Godwin, Colson, Loveland, Tucker craft and Kenya on Sadiq buck.
59:43Thank you very much for your time, brother. Thanks Davis.
59:46All right. Welcoming in my guy, Derek Brown, D bro underscore FF from fantasy pros.
59:51My, my man. Thank you very much for hopping on with me, brother.
59:55Davis, you got me. You can hear me. Okay.
59:57I'm out. I'm having to reassemble the, the setup.
60:00The damn expo. So, you know, this is all hot mics right here.
60:04So we're good. You're locked in. Your audio is great.
60:07We're going to wrap the best ball mania team.
60:10You're kind enough to give me a little bit, and I should have worn.
60:14Are you shotgun approaching this today? Like, are you just rattling off draft after draft today?
60:19Oh, that's what we do, brother. That's what we do.
60:22Let me tell you, you know, in, in, in, uh, in our neck of the woods, you can lose people.
60:28You can lose people quickly, brother. So you gotta like, you know, their, their attention, attention spans are, are like this out here.
60:35So we are, are you up to like UK drafts right now?
60:39Where are you at right now? Cause I know the volume's gotta be massive.
60:43Uh, as of right now, my most recent update, 1510, uh, imported, imported drafts.
60:48Now, now that does not include, um, drafters. So we don't have that on our backend yet.
60:53So I, I, I'm probably closer to 1750. So we are, we are approaching the, uh, the 2000 mark.
60:59What's a, what is draft volume like over in, in your neck of the woods right now?
61:04I started slow this year. I'm probably somewhere around the, like mid two hundreds and stuff, but I'll be up around 500.
61:10But when it's all said and done, I'm going to slam some drafts.
61:14Well, that is what we call, um, a mentally healthy approach to drafting fantasy football teams.
61:19I've had, I've had two K years as well.
61:22I've kind of backed off a little bit with the volume over the last few years, but you know, it's, it's been good.
61:29Um, few top five, top 10 finishes over on drafters over the years.
61:33So we'll take that. Yeah. Uh, did you see the, did you see the new tournament on drafters that they, they launched?
61:40I got to log into it. What did they drop yesterday?
61:43Okay. So this is, this is actually, I was hoping they would do this.
61:47I was talking to them last week and they were saying they were planning it, but they launched a survivor style contest.
61:54So the top 75 of the field based on like a cut line score advances each week.
61:59So 25% of the field gets chopped down to a 125 person final.
62:03Yeah. So really looking forward, really looking forward to hopping in that.
62:07And, uh, we have a turn pick here and you are, you are, uh, Hey, I will, I will defer to you.
62:14So I'm hoping, hoping to learn, hoping to get some player takes here.
62:18I mean, over there at the turn, gente cook, Walker Hampton kind of, what is, what is your general preference on that side of the board?
62:26I, it kind of depends what the room is doing.
62:29Like if they're letting, cause I know we're also running back centric right now.
62:33James cook is a must for me right now.
62:36And good Lord, he goes what? 105 here. So apparently the room is wise to my cook love.
62:41Um, really was hoping that's probably, that's probably the earliest.
62:44It's probably the highest I've seen him go. Yeah.
62:47Yeah. Yeah. Hey, sometimes, sometimes it, uh, sometimes you're the hammer.
62:50Sometimes you're the nail. Maybe, maybe we'll be in a, well, maybe we'll be in a little bit of a, of a weird room.
62:58That's okay. That's okay. All right. I mean, Jonathan Taylor is still, I would, I couldn't, I don't even like Jonathan Taylor,
63:04but getting, okay, well, there you go. Well, there you go.
63:08All right. We are, we are up. Whoever you would like to take here, sir.
63:12I mean, let's just double tap running backs here.
63:15Davis. What do you think about Gentie and either one of Gentie Hampton and Kenneth Walker?
63:20Two of those three. I'm good with, you know what?
63:23Gentie Kenneth Walker is a start. I love, and it's a start that I love with my heart.
63:29I mean, Hey, I was going to lean into your chiefs fandom here a little bit.
63:34Well, I was going to say you played the game for a while.
63:37You've been around, you've been around the block. You are with me and that you remember once upon a time, Andy Reed running back now.
63:45And now in fantasy football, we go, Oh, these chiefs running backs, horrible.
63:49Andy Reed running back used to be the special sauce that used to be.
63:53That used to be as good as it could possibly get would be having a running back with Andy Reed.
63:59I used to love it, man. I mean, like, I think like what you're talking about though, like with the last few
64:06years, I mean, the clattered with Solaire, Kareem hunt issues have absolutely crushed us.
64:10But if we go back to all this, I think it also kind of goes just from all the rookie stuff, like
64:17going back to Kenneth Walker is a rookie. People don't understand how good of a pass catcher he is.
64:23Like on a per route basis, he's been top 12 and yards per route run first downs per route run.
64:29We just haven't had the route share run out Davis.
64:32No, no, we haven't. Who would be stealing rounds for him for the chiefs?
64:36I mean, I guess maybe there, there's a chance they try and persist with D mercado, but I, this is, this is
64:43my read of the situation and maybe I'm too close to it and I'll be wrong.
64:48But my read is that Brett beach didn't even particularly want to go get Kenneth Walker, but Reed and my homes and
64:55the rest of the, like the offensive line, they were like, dude, we are sick of this.
65:00We are sick of busting our asses and handing the ball to Kareem hunt and our season being on the line and Brashard Smith getting big, big work.
65:09Like I, I would not. So the year that Walker only played 11 games, he averaged 4.6 receptions per game.
65:15My instinct would be that he's pretty close to that this year.
65:18I agree. I agree wholeheartedly with that. I think like the best receiving back they have probably is like a tie between Emma Johnson and Brashard Smith.
65:27They did not want to play Brashard Smith at any point last year, despite, I mean, Kareem hunt success rate is not feeding families out here, Davis.
65:35So, you know, I think like, again, Casey has to change the model.
65:39And I think they're looking at this too, where they've gotten no explosives from their passing attack over multiple years.
65:45My homes has been struggling as a deep ball pass or so dialing up explosives on the ground with Kenneth Walker through the air on the ground.
65:53I think it's going to have to be something that they lean on this year, especially in the homes.
65:59Like what's your read on the homes? Do you think he starts week one?
66:03Because I kind of look at their schedule and I'm like, I hear all the steam and I'm like, maybe he starts on the pup this year.
66:12And then like, they got the week five by and he's back ready to rock for week six.
66:17I think he's going to start. I think he's going to start week one.
66:21I think that if he, if he wasn't going to start week one, I think they would have just had him stay
66:28on the pup and stay away from the team.
66:31Cause he's got his own, he's has his own doctors.
66:34Like he has his own. Um, he, he actually just has a facility down in Texas, um, where, where his family is.
66:41So I think he would have just stayed there.
66:43I think he's, I think he is chomping at the, at the bit to get, wow.
66:48McBride at 33. We, there's some stuff happening there.
66:51All right. We are up in one pick Kyron lad, Allen, ETN, Devante, Tet.
66:55What, uh, what are you thinking here? I'm thinking we double tap wide receiver and catch up here.
67:01I think it's Waddle and Terry McLaurin for me.
67:04I'm not in on lad this year, but I'm curious your thoughts on him.
67:08So I started out pretty out on lad, mostly assuming that Keenan Allen was going to return to the charge.
67:14It seems like the tea leaves now are, are sounding like charger, still a possibility.
67:18The Colts would be a possibility. The Rams would be a possibility.
67:22I don't know how good of a fit lad is for the McDaniel stuff.
67:26Cause I, I like, obviously he's the best wide receiver on the team and you think of lad is like, Oh, you know, short area.
67:34He's quite quick and stuff, but Ty, like the issue would be that the Mike McDaniel number, number one wide receiver has
67:41been a first ballot hall of famer, like an all time.
67:44Yeah. Get the position Tyreek. And I mean, lad lad is, is not that, you know, he, he, he is, is not that.
67:51And I wonder if it'll actually be more kind of egalitarian, you know, like, all right.
67:56Lab has a 23% target share. QJ is a 17%.
67:59Gadsden has 15%. Kalar has 10% and Joko has 6%.
68:02Like, I wonder if they're actually, cause outside of Tyreek and Waddle, the dolphin stuff, every, like everyone was between like a
68:096% and a 12% target share on the whole team.
68:12Yeah. Yeah. I mean, where I'm with, with lad is kind of very, I agree with a lot of your points there.
68:19And then the other thing about it is if they're going to run so much 12 and 13 and have multiple tight
68:25end sets, like I look at all of their, their tight ends.
68:29I think we're going to see like a Rams or Seattle kind of committee approach.
68:34Like everybody's getting a 30 to 35% route share.
68:36So I'm really not in on any of their tight ends, but with lad, as far as like in two wide receiver
68:43sets, I don't know if he's going to play in two wide receiver sets consistently, Davis.
68:48Like, could that be a rotation that could that be QJ and Trey Harris considering the run blocking.
68:54And he's a slot only guy. Like the other part about all this lad stuff is at what point of his career
69:00has he shown that he can really give, because if you're taking the guy as a wide receiver to, he needs to
69:07have wide receiver one upside for me or have spike week potential.
69:11And I just, at what point of his career, Davis, have we seen him earn consistent wide receiver one market share as
69:17far as target share first read all of this stuff?
69:20It hasn't been there, man. It hasn't. It wasn't, it wasn't in there in college.
69:25Any, any of that stuff for him in college was based on per route stuff.
69:30And then if you look at what he did as a rookie, he had like good spike weeks, but it's, you know, 24% target share is good.
69:38It's not, it's not great. Yeah. It's not, it's not a, it's, it's not elite, you know, like if he goes out
69:45there and he earns a 21% target share, is that really something outside of like spiking efficiency?
69:50And, and again, like his size, is he going to be a print, like a perimeter, like a primary red zone guy.
69:57If he's get, if he gets like a 21% target share and he gets six to seven touchdowns, is that wide receiver one worthy?
70:04Or are we just drafting a guy as a wide receiver two and saying, please dear Lord, be a wide receiver two.
70:11I think the big thing that is different for him is that, well, let's make these picks here real quick.
70:17What are you, what are you thinking? Um, I'm in between, do we go Jane Daniels at one of these picks and
70:23Parker Washington and Cardinal Tate, like trying to make up a wide receiver.
70:27Like, do you want to go quarterback with one of these?
70:31Or we do want to double tap wide receiver.
70:34I think we should take Daniels. Cause we made a pretty big bet on McLaurin.
70:38So let's do that. And then you're a, you're a P wash over Carnell Tate.
70:43I am for the upside. I like, I think you can, you can craft a narrative for both of those guys.
70:49And then it comes back to like, which offense do I want to invest in more Tennessee or Jacksonville?
70:55And if T law picks up right where he left off, I mean, Parker Washington was there.
71:00I'm in our St. Brown. Where are you at on Washington?
71:03Are you a team Washington or you BTJ or just agnostic?
71:07I am team. The Jaguars probably themselves don't even really know right now.
71:11And so much of it is going to be determined by the rhythms of what happens in season.
71:16Like if Brian Thomas jr has a great game week one, or just like is really impressive in training camp.
71:22I think Liam Cohen will acknowledge that and use that.
71:25If Brian Thomas jr is afraid to run over the middle, struggling with drops, struggling with focus, then I think it'll shift towards Parker Washington.
71:33Maybe Parker Washington. It was, I mean, he averaged 14.1 fantasy points per game over those final six weeks of the season.
71:40Now the closest career comps to Parker Washington right now are some of the most hilarious names in fantasy football guys who
71:47are, we remember for being the most overdrafted players of all time.
71:50Gabe Davis, Russell gauge, Denarius more. It's not to say he is the same as those guys.
71:55And the drum beat has been really consistent. Like I, I would be feeling much worse about Parker Washington.
72:01If it was kind of just like, ah, well, yeah, you know, we like, and we're going to see what the role,
72:08but like the coaches and Cohen and, and Lawrence have been like, he looks great.
72:13The beat writers have been, he looks great. There there's plans to, to focus on him.
72:17And I mean, the biggest variable is how does the defense play?
72:21Because if the, if they find like something that I've not heard anyone talk about yet is like, okay, well, what if
72:28these random, one of these random Jags defensive backs turns out to just be good?
72:32Like what if some, I don't, I mean, God forbid, I don't know what the Jaguars defensive corners, but if the Jags,
72:39like if, if the, their fourth defensive back is playing awesome, can't Travis Hunter play more on offense?
72:45Travis Hunter, pretty good. Like, it's just that I, I think I, I think I literally have between five and 10% of every Jaguars wide receiver.
72:53I was going to ask you, are you just going to be like 10% of every guy and, and let it roll
72:59out the way it's going to roll out? Yeah.
73:02I mean, I, I definitely want to be, I want to be in on the Jags because I think Liam Cohen is such a phenomenally good coach.
73:10I think he's a great pass catcher. I think he's one of the guys that really gets the meta.
73:16Now, one of the things that's kind of interesting, and I haven't heard a ton of people bring this up.
73:22So they take Borka turret pick 56 or whatever.
73:25Every freaking team in the NFL is like, yeah, we're going to run more heavy.
73:30We're running out of 12. We're going to run 13 fullbacks are coming back.
73:34Like it gets, it starts to get pretty thin.
73:37Like if Borka chair can play 40% of the snaps, which I think would be not, would be a really, yeah, be really high.
73:44But, but yeah, I mean, it's, it's in play.
73:47They just, they, they, they just took him at pick whatever 56.
73:50Like they said, let's shock the world and take this guy.
73:54It's a, it's, it would be, I mean, that would be bad for P wash and it would, it would be really bad for Travis Hunter.
74:02It'd be, it would be the worst for Travis Hunter if that happened.
74:06Yeah. I, and see where I kind of come down on it.
74:09Like I was actually pulling up their depth chart when you were going to rattle in through the corners and stuff like
74:16Dane Jackson, Dane Jackson, Devon Marshall, Jerry and Jones.
74:19I mean that those, I think they need Hunter on defense this year.
74:23So, I mean, like the other thing about it is we're kind of getting close to the neighborhood of Hunter has to
74:30return high end, high end value on some side of the ball, or he's going to be a bus pick.
74:36Like if he's a top 10, top 12 cornerback in the NFL, no, nobody gives a shit like what they gave up to go draft him.
74:44If he's another year where he's not a needle mover on either side of it, I know we're about to pick here in a second.
74:51Um, then, you know, then we have problems. Um, I think we got to take one of these running backs.
74:57I agree with you. Um, do you want to go standalone value or are we going to go high upside with like
75:04a quorum or something or Jonathan Brooks? I'm in on.
75:07You're the boss. Let's take Jay Brooks and more, more drum beat out of there.
75:12I know we're pulling him up the, the board a good bit versus that's okay.
75:16That's okay. And I actually, I think these wide receiver tier is pretty flat.
75:21So I would say downs, downs are Harvey. Um, let's go, let's go downs.
75:25I'm fine with that. Yeah. I mean, downs is going to be, we made our best for running backs to go on running back, running back.
75:33So if they're, if they're not the guys, then we're screwed anyway.
75:36Yeah. You know, it's a, it's, it's kind of funny.
75:40I, and I always, I always appreciate this, but like, there's definitely a different, like a huge difference this year in my
75:46mind, between fantasy football and best ball. Like, like huge, like probably the most difference there's ever been in terms of how the market works.
75:54And I'm starting to transition my attention more to fantasy football.
75:57Like my home league drafts coming up, high stakes drafts are starting all that stuff.
76:02And the, the texture of the boards is so, so different.
76:05Whereas like, I probably don't have very many best ball teams built like this, where I wouldn't have taken my third running back until 84.
76:13But this is like, I think this is like a very standard build in a redraft style situation.
76:18I mean, where do you come down on the crazy early running back stuff this year?
76:23I think it's a good year to sit here and leverage the market where it is.
76:28I mean, if you, I mean, it's a great year for zero RB, if you want to do it.
76:34Um, and just playing the, everybody's, this is kind of like last year, the year before everybody was all in on zero
76:41RB and that turned out to be, you know, not the thing to do.
76:45So the entire market is shifting one way. The other thing is just reading the room.
76:50I think like building some hero teams and just kind of like playing against the market is fine with me.
76:56Um, just because again, like when everybody's swimming in one direction and they're all right, or they think they're right, then it's
77:03a good time to leverage it and go the opposite way.
77:06But where are you coming down on it? I think that it's almost kind of like draft spot specific.
77:12So from the right side of the board, that's fair.
77:15I love, I love to do these like gente Barkley, Javante wide receiver.
77:19And then like, really hope you get one of Tootin or price there at the five, six turn.
77:24Like Tootin and price are two of my overall favorite picks.
77:28So right now, I just, I think they're, I think they're both great picks.
77:32Whereas I've in general, the Watson, Thomas, Washington, Tyson, Tate range.
77:35I'm like, I like all those guys kind of individually in a vacuum, but I feel similarly to them, how I feel
77:42about worthy, Reed, Addison, Downs and Pierce. So I'm like, Oh, they're, they're probably going to be between 150 and 200 points.
77:49And it'll kind of just depend the way in which they, they generate like the weeks in which they generate their points.
77:56We are up in two picks. We have a one, three, four, zero build.
78:00We would have Knicks with Waddle. Jacoby Myers gives us another Jaguars wide receiver.
78:04Gainwell, Rashad White are there. Famine is there. What, what are you thinking here?
78:08I think Knicks with one of these considering the bet we made on a Waddle, on Waddle makes a lot of sense.
78:15And then we're kind of done unless you want like a late QB three.

78:37These wide receivers, like I'm finally going Myers or Waddle.
78:40I look at them as similar bets and it really just kind of depends on, do we want to play the roulette
78:47of Myers versus Washington and just capsize, you know what I mean?
78:51As far as like capture spike week potential with those guys or play also the arbitrage better, like a BTJ misses time
78:58than this, uh, this passing offense gets more consolidated.
79:00So I'm fine with Myers or Waddle. All right.
79:03Yeah. Let's do, let's do Jacoby. And this is the, uh, the Brian Thomas Jr.
79:08flames out situation. This is the, the fade BTJ team.
79:11Basically. Yeah. I mean the, the Brian Thomas Jr.
79:14He has so few historical comps that make much sense at all.
79:17Like the, he had such a uniquely good rookie season and then was so poor last year.
79:22It's, it, it's such a situation where I'm like something else had to have been going on.
79:28The injury reporting had to be real. The reporting that like he was having a tough time because his best friend died before the start of the season.
79:36That's gotta be real because it, it wasn't like a, you know, the other example of a guy who was so good
79:43as a rookie and then went down was Michael Clayton who there was, that was injury.
79:48That was injury related stuff. That was like, that was like very, it's just, it's just so weird, but he also is
79:54going to be typecast into like the least productive role.
79:58He's going to have the highest average depth of target of any of these wide receivers, which just opens yourself up to huge variance.
80:05Yeah, exactly. Like, I don't look at like BTJ as being like, that's what people are like.
80:10I mean, obviously he's their wide receiver one. And I'm like, is he really like, he's a high a dot guy.
80:16Like you look at Jacoby Myers. I'm like him being a field stretcher or Washington and Myers.
80:22Like now I will say to the converse of this Washington in that four game stretch where he just lit everything on fire.
80:29He did have, I think it was like 13 deep targets.
80:32So he was getting the high cholesterol usage out of that.
80:35But like, you look at the roles that they're going to play in this offense, like BTJ being the field stretcher, like
80:42he's probably the best prototype to do that. Those other guys are not.
80:46So it's kind of one of those situations where he can play that role and people want to pigeonhole him into the other roles.
80:53But those other guys aren't really the high a dot guys.
80:57So it's kind of like the BTJ is going to fill that role.
81:01And that's not a high volume role. Like for spike week potential at certain parts of best ball drafts where he goes,
81:08like I'm fine taking that depending on the composition of my team.
81:11But is that somebody I want to lean on as like my wide receiver three for a team?
81:17Not really. And Brian Thomas Jr. Will probably be a guy as we're transitioning a little bit more to like redraft and things like that.
81:24I'm probably going to be a little bit less interested.
81:27Yeah. Yeah. The Jags are just, I mean, they're, they're such an interesting team because I think all of their positions are kind of unsettled.
81:35Right. To your point, BTJ is kind of a best ball only guy for me.
81:40Like I don't, I don't want to deal with the damn headache of him and manage leagues.
81:45Like I can get that type of archetype later in drafts.
81:48I mean, I think, I think honestly, like all the Jaguars, like a lot of it is going to be game, game, game plan specific weeks.
81:56Like I'm a huge student guy, but there are going to be weeks where the team is like, yeah, like we're just
82:03going to battering Ram with Chris Rodriguez. Like we're just, we're, we're going to lean on them.
82:08We're going to play heavy. We're going to play downhill and it'll be frustrating, but it just kind of, it just kind
82:15of is, uh, kind of is what it is.
82:18All right. We are up here in a little bit.
82:21We have Daniels and Knicks, Gentie Walker, Brooks, Jalen Waddle, Terry McLaurin, Parker, Washington, Josh Downs, Jacoby Myers.
82:26I think we need one of these running backs here, probably at this turn to be fine with a tight end here.
82:33Um, Chig gives us a stack. What, uh, what do you think in here?
82:37I think either going Chig or Dalton Kincaid with one of these, like this feels like a good team to take the
82:44upside swing on Dalton Kincaid, because like, if he is a full-time player, which again, I'd, I'd highly doubt, but if this
82:51team building makes a lot of sense, did he go, we got, we got snapped.
82:55So we can take, we can take Chig with our first pick.
82:59And then I think we should take one of C-Rod, Tracy or Keaton.
83:03And I'm kind of deferring to you. Like, if you have a guy like you like here, as far as running backs,
83:10um, cause I can make you a case for a lot of different guys.
83:14Like us, this feels like a C-Rod team also.
83:17Like we've already made some Jacksonville bets. Yeah. I was going to say, I think we, I think we just go with
83:23that and C-Rod, it does seem like the reporting from this morning does seem like he is going to avoid the pup list.
83:30I do. Do I think C-Rod is that good of a pick?
83:34No, I don't. Do I need to hedge a little bit?
83:37Cause Tootin is, I think my most drafted running back right now.
83:41He's mine too. I'm all in on him. So like, this just feels like a good hedge spot.
83:46Yeah. And I, you can do that across you.
83:49You can do that across your portfolio. Honestly, it's to me, it's not that painful to take Chig next to Kincaid.
83:56Like I think we all get it. Honestly, they're very similar bets.
83:59Neither of them have ever been a full. Yeah.
84:02They've never been a full-time player. Chig has the, the closest, like this is the best opportunity of his life to be a full-time player.
84:10Yep. So frankly, the bills probably need Dalton Kincaid to be a full-time player for them to really ascend as an offense.
84:16And if he's healthy, he can probably do it.
84:19One of the things I, I've not heard a ton of people make this point, but one of the things that having
84:26a banged up knee, it's going to be a lot harder to run block with a banged up knee, a lot harder to generate leverage, a lot harder.
84:34Like you're just going to be weaker, right? Your technique is going to be worse.
84:39You're not going to be as strong. So if he is actually healthy, not only should that free him up to like
84:46run more routes, but it should just free him up to, I mean, it's what we saw with Kyle Pitts, right?
84:52Kyle Pitts sucks. He sucks. He sucks. Oh, he played 92% of the snaps last year.
84:57He was good for fantasy. I mean, that's all we need for a Kincaid.
85:01Yeah. I mean, literally like on a per route basis, I think I tweeted this out about a month ago, like Kincaid,
85:08every single day in category, he's first in like everything.
85:11So like if he becomes yards per route, run all first downs per route, run route, win rate and like everything, like everything.
85:18So like if he becomes a 65, 70% route share guy, he smashes.
85:22But the question is, does he do that? And I'm like, yeah, I mean, I think like, especially with this team bill,
85:29we got going, I mean, this is obviously like a three tight end team.
85:33So we're just looking at like spike weeks and the route shares don't matter.
85:37Cause we're just kind of like making it up in the aggregate here.
85:41Yeah. Um, I think, I think that's good. I mean, I, I love a three tight end team.
85:47I think there are like unique opportunities like this group of Schultz, Dulcich, Helm, Ferguson, Fryermuth.
85:52I mean, man, these, these, I think these guys are, are all phenomenal picks.
85:56Dude, the other guy that I like, I'm sprinkling in because he's basically free and I've got, I'm really in on Jalen
86:03hurts this year is checking Eli Stowers when he's free with the correlation to hurts late as well as like, he's not getting drafted.
86:10It's like you have the contingent upside of Dallas.
86:13Goddard goes out. What are they doing there? Are they starting Calcaterra?
86:17Like, come on, like Eli Stowers will be a part of that team.
86:21And you're making the same kind of bet as like, everybody's making McKinney and Sadiq or Gadsden or anybody at this point.
86:27For sure. Um, okay. We are about to be up again at two, four, five, one.
86:32Um, none of these quarterbacks really make a ton of sense.
86:36Wide receiver running back could be okay here. I'm not huge on stranger Henry, honestly.
86:40No, what, uh, what would you be thinking here?
86:43I'm thinking David ball or Denzel Boston. I said, David, good Lord.
86:47Hey, Hey, I mean, I, I think the difference between ADP and Boston and, and conception shouldn't exist because we're making a
86:53bet of like, everybody says they know who the clear Browns number one wide receiver is.
86:58That bet could be wrong. I love Boston as a prospect too.
87:02So I think he's just free money where he's going.
87:05Uh, and then, I mean, one of these running backs might make sense.
87:09What, uh, what are you thinking? Um, we did like, I like big, bigsby or Coleman.
87:14I'm, I'm, Oh, you know what? Coleman, Coleman, Coleman is like making the bet with the Denver offense.
87:19Yeah. I thought Boston was a fine prospect and I like slightly prefer conception, but you're so right that for, for conception
87:26to be a 10th round pick and Boston to be a 13th round pick.
87:30They're there. They pretty much project like back to back with one another.
87:34Like they're like, if you're, if you're doing projections, Judy also could like pretty easily be a trade.
87:40Uh, if the Brown, if the Browns agreed to eat some of his money, I would actually assume he, he maybe is even more likely to be traded.
87:48So I, I guess Judy, a future commander. Well, if Giggs is not there, Keenan Allen, I mean, it's, it's not impossible.
87:55I think I'm playing it. Like digs is going to be a command.
87:59I mean, what is your, what is your read on that whole situation with digs and Debo and I, you can all those guys.
88:06Um, I, I don't think we see, considering all the goofiness with I, you off the field this year, I don't think
88:13we see him on the field this year. So I've kind of like faded him.
88:18Um, I did get some exposure earlier in best ball drafts.
88:21I'm baiting him now. Debo, I think is just cooked.
88:24So I'm not even drafting him, but digs I've been all in on because I think as soon as he signs Davis, where's he going round seven.
88:32Yeah. I've been saying, I've been saying depending on the landing spot, I mean, assuming it's not the, if it's not the
88:39Ravens digs can get to the eighties. If it's the Ravens, it's probably more like the hundreds.
88:44Yeah. Um, I mean, Debo, I mean, he was worse last year in, in a full-time role, like 11.5 points per game in a full-time role.
88:52But he, I mean, even still, he's going to rise to the one twenties probably when, when he signs, I mean, Keenan,
88:59if, if this Keenan to cold smoke is real, he probably gets to the one forties.
89:04Like, I, I mean, it's, it's in, I just don't really know what the market's doing, not taking these guys.
89:10No, I agree with you. And I think like the same thing with, um, I've been mixing exposure and I'll just talk
89:17to table now since he's already gone. Like I'm mixing exposure with Alvin Kamara and even James Conner late because I, I
89:23think that, you know, Kamara has been priced in, like he's been basically dead all off season.
89:29And I think like, he's one of the reasons why I'm fading Travis Echan, um, where he's going, because I think Kamara
89:35is going to play a bigger role in that backfield.
89:38And James Conner is one practice away from Detroit realizing Isaiah Pacheco is total dust to getting traded to Detroit.
89:44And then he vaults up into that, like RB 30 to 40 tier.
89:48I mean, James Conner, and it wouldn't, it wouldn't even be him.
89:52I mean, doubt like Dallas could do it. The Raiders have a fifth round rookie from, uh, Arkansas is their backup running back.
89:59They might decide they don't want to do it.
90:02Like they're, they're a lot, uh, the, the Packers don't have a real running back to, you know, they're Vikings got a
90:09bunch of guys that can't play three downs or stay healthy.
90:12Like, would that be so surprising? No, no, I, I completely, I completely agree.
90:16Uh, okay. We are working on a two, five, six, one build.
90:20So I definitely think we want to take one tight end, if not two here, uh, wide receiver.
90:25I mean, Williams gives us a stack. Judy, we were talking about, I really like Jeremy Bernard.
90:31Um, probably good on running back. Yeah. I want to take a third.
90:35Uh, it's just Jacoby at quarterback. So probably not there.
90:38What are you thinking? I'm thinking tight end here.
90:40Um, I love Dulcet this year. I mean, he was a top 12 guy in every per route metric.
90:46Um, and I know, I feel like we're kind of doing what we did in previous years with, you know, Albert O and everybody and Chig.
90:54Um, but they don't have anybody to catch the damn ball in Miami.
90:58So like it, to see that type of run out for him, it would not be insane.
91:03And I'm fine with either going like wide receiver.
91:06If we want to go Antonio Williams and make the bet against Stefan digs, considering we're both kind of overweight on digs, I'm fine.
91:13Yeah. Kind of like, this is kind of becoming the hedge team Davis.
91:17It is. Hey, sometimes, sometimes it works that way.
91:20I was like, I was like pretty ambivalent about Williams as a prospect, but also it is kind of one of those things.
91:27Every single day that digs. Or Debo or Keenan or whoever is not a commander.
91:32That's another day of reps for Williams. That's another day for him to impress the coaches.
91:37It's another day for him to learn the playbook.
91:39It's another day for him to practice with Jane Daniels.
91:42Like it, it it's, it's just kind of funny.
91:45Like I was talking about this with stripling. Christian Kirk getting injured now is maybe even bigger for stripling than Christian Kirk
91:52getting injured in week one or week one, because right now I would, I mean, I would assume that it's Deshaun stripling practicing with Purdy.
92:00Not like, I don't know, river crack rafter, Danny gray or whatever depth wide receiver.
92:04There's hanging around on the 49ers. Like these are, these are really important reps for these rookie players.
92:10I think. I agree. I agree. Because if he's not getting reps with the ones early and it's later in training camp,
92:16you can just kind of chalk this up as to like a possible red shirt season.
92:21But I agree with you. Like this is the kind of run out with like Christian Kirk getting hurt where you see
92:28a stripling taking reps with the ones over a DeMarcus Robinson over even somebody like a Jordan Watkins, who they had last year.
92:35So I, I, I emphatically agree with that because if not, he's buried on the depth chart and he's running with the
92:42twos and threes for the entire camp. It's true.
92:45Yeah. Purdy, Purdy said stripling is a baller and I've got a lot of trust in him, which is if you're look,
92:51if you're looking for a reason to take a guy in July, that that's what it's all about.
92:57Yes. Yeah. I mean, Kayshawn booty, the star of Patriots camp.
93:00I don't know if I believe, I don't know.
93:03I don't believe that. That's all trade nonsense. Like I saw some of this stuff where it was like, Romeo Dobbs isn't
93:10even playing in two wide receiver sets. I'm like, dude, y'all are getting ridiculous.
93:14So they go out and they give the contract to the guy early in free agency to make him like a rotational wide receiver.
93:21Like, what are we doing here, man? Come on.
93:24Yeah, no, I, I completely, I completely agree. Um, all right.
93:27So we are about to wrap this team up probably one more tight end.
93:32I don't think we need to add a quarterback in here.
93:35Are you thinking another running back or one last wide receiver?
93:38I think a wide receiver, considering now that I'm looking at this overall build and we got a shit ton of week, seven buys.
93:46Yes. Yeah, we do somebody with some alternate. Um, cause I didn't even look at that.
93:51I'm looking at quarterback. Um, who, well, again, like, I don't think we're alternating buys there.
93:55Yeah, we're good. No, no, we're good. We're good there.
93:58I think Stowers that I just kind of made the case with him.
94:02Um, makes a ton of sense. And I think getting another wide receiver.
94:06If you're down with that Davis, cause we have what?
94:09Five or six running backs. Yeah, we have a two quarterback five running back seven wide receiver to tight end build.
94:16We're going to take Stowers with that first pick.
94:19Um, we do have three week, seven buys. Honestly, it's real boring, but I do think Ridley like round 18.
94:25Yeah. I mean, look, do I think Calvin really is that good?
94:28Do I think Ken Ward is that good? Not really.
94:31What are you going to do? Like what, what rookie is going to project better than Calvin Ridley?
94:37No. And the other thing is like, we also have the out, like you were talking about Jerry Judy.
94:43If they decide like they get a good offer in camp and really like, cause he's, he's a holdover guy.
94:49So like if he gets traded, we wouldn't be shocked by that either.
94:53Calvin Ridley is definitely a trade candidate. Yeah. I guess I haven't, I don't even know how much money does Calvin Ridley make.
95:00It's probably, it's probably a lot of money. Probably Calvin Ridley.
95:03Actually, it's a lot less than I thought. Five million against the cap right now.
95:08Oh, that's not bad. 15 million dead cap to be traded.
95:11And the Titans, the Titans would eat. Actually, the Titans would eat half of that.
95:16And then the other, the 7.5 and then 5.7 million or 7.5 million would go to his new team.
95:22So that is an angle. I, I haven't even, I haven't even pulled his contract up yet.
95:27My guy, DJ says that he just restructured. Well, that restructure makes it a lot easier.
95:32That makes it easier. I mean, that's the same thing.
95:35James Connor did this off season. It basically makes it easier to move.
95:39So again, well, like what, what, what if all of our hope for Stefan digs to the commanders turns out to be Calvin Ridley to the commanders, Davis.
95:47I was going to say, I, I really had not considered that until you, I haven't either.
95:53Like we're workshopping this take right now live. Yeah.
95:55I, I really, I actually, I actually really liked that because I mean, that's even less money that, that is half of
96:02what digs is going to ask to get paid.
96:05Digs will be out there like one year, 12 to 14 milli.
96:08Probably. I would assume, I mean, I would assume he actually is probably asking for a multi-year deal.
96:14That might be the hangup. One of the, one of the hangups might be that digs is saying, Hey, I'd like, I'd
96:21like this to be my last big contract. I'd like three years, 40 million or whatever.
96:26Yeah. Which, which is kind of funny because in NFL parlance, it just means that he's going to get paid to get cut next off season.
96:33Probably. I mean, yes. Then it's just a puffed up one year deal with like a bunch of funny money on the back end.
96:41That it's, it's not really a three year deal.
96:44Jaden Daniels, Bo Nix, Ashton Gentry, Ken Walker, Jonathan Brooks, C-Rod, Jonah Coleman, Jalen Waddell, Terry McLaurin, Parker Washington, Josh Downs, Jacoby
96:50Myers, Denzel Boston, Antonio Williams, Calvin Ridley, Chig, Dulcich, Stowers.
96:53I do. Now that Stowers is free at the end of these drafts, he's, he's pretty appealing to me.
96:59I, I, I don't really believe this idea that he is not going to play.
97:04I think they're, their best. I don't agree with it.
97:07Their best offense includes him on the field instead of Wicks or Hollywood Brown.
97:11I, I think. I just look at Stowers. It's the same kind of bet you'd be making, or we are making with Terrence Ferguson.
97:18How is it any different Davis? Like you have so many different tight ends and everybody's like, Oh, well, Terrence Ferguson, Terrence Ferguson breakout.
97:26But then it's like, is he going to hop Parkinson?
97:29Is he going to hop Higby? Like actually, like, I think it's a tougher bet to make and kind of squint and
97:36see the path for Terrence Ferguson versus an Eli Stowers.
97:39Am I insane with it? No, no. I, I think, I mean, Ferguson is certainly going to play more from the jump
97:45than Stowers, but if no one else gets injured and I'm like, I'm the biggest T for a guy in the world,
97:52but if no one gets injured, Ferguson is probably capped at like, 50% of the routes.
97:57If there's nothing, you know, it's, it's a very specialized role inside of that offense and that specialized role.
98:03Like Stowers can just be 65% of the routes right away from, from week four or whatever.
98:08Like a lot of it depends on how good Wicks is playing.
98:12Like if Wicks is playing very well, I agree with that.
98:15Be more limited. But I mean, he's got like lemon might be slow to adjust to the NFL game.
98:21Devonta Smith could nicked up. Like I wouldn't think they would be like, yeah, we are going to treat Hollywood Brown and Darius Cooper.
98:28Like they're just definitely playing over Stowers. I mean, one of the things it's like Stowers probably can just play wide.
98:35We're probably not, probably not that well, you know, like he's, he can just kind of go out there and eat some
98:41routes, but so in the 18th round, sometimes you just want some guys to, to eat some routes.
98:47Well, the other part about this, I mean, how many years in a row have we seen Dallas Goddard get nicked up?
98:53Like the easiest path to playing time is just like behind him.
98:57There's Johnny fricking month and grant Calcaterra. So it's like, I mean, you, you, they draft Eli Stowers, even if he plays,
99:04say God, we play the, the thought exercise Goddard is out.
99:07And then Stowers is still like a, say he's Dalton Kincaid of Philly.
99:11Like he's a 55, 60% route share guy, even if he gets the starting job, but he's stupid and efficient and he gets red zone work.
99:19And we get like out of a two, a guy we drafted in the two hundreds, you get four spike weeks out of him, three spike weeks.
99:27He's still paying off handsomely. Like I, even at that point, he, well, I mean, like if he was a wide receiver
99:34second round, he would be the cheapest second round wide.
99:37Oh, he'd be free. You'd be like, you'd be like, it'd be a guy like, where it's like, okay, I can easily
99:44get like, that's where it's like the guys were.
99:47They're like one 80 plus. And it's like, fine.
99:49I can easily load up at 16% of this guy.
99:52Cause I I'm, I'm paying one 80 to pick 200 kind of prices.
99:56Like that's not costing me anything. Yeah. I, I completely agree.
100:00Uh, all right, man, what is your, what is your off season content schedule?
100:04Going to be like over at, uh, at fantasy slash, uh, betting pros, dude, it's all trying to, so I got a
100:11lot of my, uh, draft kit stuff starting live right now.
100:14Like my players to avoid my players to target.
100:17Um, I've got my perfect draft article. That's live.
100:20That's pinned at the top of my, uh, my profile.
100:23I'm going to actually rework that kind of update it and give spit shine this week.
100:28Um, which that article has 80 plus players in it, literally walking people through every single fricking round.
100:33And, uh, probably not this week, but next week, I'm going to probably try to get my top 200 out, which I've
100:40done the last three years in a row. And that's literally 200 players across all positions, even defensive kickers.
100:46Like I wanted to create something to where if people were like, you know, drafting a shit ton of best ball teams
100:52or redraft, like it's the one damn thing that you need to pull up and have on second screen.
100:58Right. Yep. Yeah. Hey, it's valuable. It's valuable. It's valuable work.
101:02My guy is doing out there. Uh, all right guys, I'm going to get out of here.
101:07I'll be back with all of you guys at some indeterminate time tomorrow.
101:11We'll, uh, we'll figure that one out. Uh, swole cast this afternoon, uh, and then ADP chasing tonight.
