Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage0:00

Kyren Williams remains the superior fantasy option in the Rams' backfield due to his significant edge in passing game usage and goal-line work. The source notes that Williams is more trusted by Sean McVay and looks significantly better than Blake Corum in most aspects of the game. Despite a tough matchup against the Eagles, who statistically limit fantasy points, the Eagles rank bottom-five in EPA per rush and success rate allowed, suggesting Williams can still produce as a high-end start.

0:00On the flip side, we've got the Los
0:01Angeles Rams, where Kyren Williams is he
0:03just looks significantly better than
0:05Blake in most aspects of the game. Kyren
0:07Williams looks like it's going to be
0:08another season where he just hits on
0:10fantasy people who did not want to draft
0:13him. It is a relatively tough match-up
0:15against the Eagles. They have allowed
0:17the sixth fewest fantasy points allowed
0:19to the position, but when you take a
0:20peek under the hood there, they are
0:22bottom five in terms of EPA per rush
0:24allowed in terms of success rate allowed
0:26on a down-to-down basis. And obviously,
0:28him and him and Blake Corum are like
0:30splitting work on the ground. Like Blake
0:32Corum is getting carries. You can see
0:33his rush attempt line is at 9 and 1/2,
0:36but as we've been saying all year, Kyren
0:38is just so much more trusted in the
0:40passing game. He is a much better pass
0:41catcher. Like Blake Corum does not look
0:43natural in the passing game at all. So,
0:45shout out for Sean McVay for not [ __ ]
0:46forcing the issue for no reason. Kyren
0:48gets pass catching work. He's way more
0:49likely to get the goal line work as
0:51well. So, he's going right into the
0:52fields good category and near the top of
0:54it as well. Blake Corum will be a shaky
0:56flex at best.
