Aaron Jones

NegativeInjury7:40

Aggravated his MCL sprain during Week 7 and is listed as day-to-day; the source estimates roughly 51-49 odds in favor of him missing the upcoming game. If he plays, both he and Jordan Mason become shaky flex options due to the split backfield.

Insight page

Bam Knight

PositiveRole6:03

Was the better runner in a split backfield with Tyler Algier during Jeremiah Love's absence; if Love returns, Knight likely takes a backseat role (sprinkles/two-minute drill). The source recommends holding Knight due to the fantastic Dallas matchup and uncertainty around Love's status; he becomes a dub flex if Love doesn't play.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection16:05

RB1-tier back coming off a massive game with strong player prop lines: 84 total yards, 2.5 receptions, anytime TD at −130; the source notes he could have scored ~40 fantasy points last week if game script had remained favorable throughout; positioned in the Jaylen Warren tier with high weekly ceiling and consistent touch volume, though ceiling upside does not always materialize.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage4:30

Played 75% of snaps in Week 7, ran 60% of routes and 60% of carries, and played 100% of two-minute drill snaps despite Samaji Perine scoring the goal-line touchdown. The source expects touchdown luck to eventually favor Brown given the Bengals' fourth-ranked offensive scoring and 10-point favorite status; he's going back into the lineup for Week 8.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole0:00

Must-start for Week 8 contingent on Jonathan Brooks' injury status. The source states Chuba will remain in the lineup until Brooks returns and needs to demonstrate meaningful work before being considered anything less than a must-start.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage25:27

Start/sit decision hinges on Kyle Manungai's status. If Manungai plays, Swift drops to feels good due to the tough Seattle matchup and projected 8–10 touch reduction. If Swift is in the backfield alone, he's a strong play despite Seattle's elite run defense because the Chicago Bears offense is prolific (averaging 40 points per game with Caleb Williams) and will generate enough volume to offset matchup concerns. The source says 'he's going to get so much work... he'll get enough volume to offset any concerns there.'

Insight page
PositiveUsage26:04

D'Andre Swift's start/sit decision hinges on Kyle Manungai's status. If Manungai does not play, Swift is projected to receive heavy volume despite a tough matchup against Seattle; the source notes 'he's going to get so much work' and projects enough volume to offset matchup concerns. If Manungai does play, Swift likely moves down to 'feels good' category with projected 8–10 touches siphoned off by Manungai in the mix.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection0:59

Start recommendation for Week 8 with strong touchdown and volume projections. The source cites minus 235 anytime touchdown line, 82.5 rushing yards projection, and 18.5 rushing attempts projection. Performance is heavily dependent on Lamar Jackson's health status, as Henry plays ineffectively when Jackson is unavailable.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeRole15:06

Returned to play a decent amount of passing-down snaps; not recommended for lineups in Week 8.

Insight page

Elijah Mitchell

PositiveRole22:30

Came in and got work after Damen Pierce injury. If Saquon Barkley misses time, could be 'the Elijah Mitchell show' with no other viable options (Will Shipley out, Pierce injured, Barkley potentially out). The source notes 'could low-key be a good time against Washington' given favorable matchup, though he used to be explosive seven years ago.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

NegativeRole24:04

Conditional play dependent on Rashaad Penny's status. If Penny is out, Wilson feels good due to high touch volume and red-zone opportunities, scoring fantasy points despite not being a talented player; the source notes 'Brian Flory sucks at play calling. So, he'll just give Emanuel Wilson five carries inside the five yard line.' However, if Penny plays, the source would not play Wilson due to uncertainty over snap splits and role definition.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole19:29

Secondary RB in timeshare with Jonah Coleman; projects 24.5 rushing yards; played only 12 snaps last week compared to Coleman's 28; out-carried by Coleman 9–6; did secure one carry inside the 5-yard line for red zone opportunity; the source places him in 'rather not' category and signals declining role in backfield transition; faces tough Kansas City run defense.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection5:45

Must-start for Week 8 coming off a big game; the Cowboys are 6.5-point favorites against Arizona with no other viable running back behind him, making him a clear lineup lock.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole15:15

Must-start RB for Week 8 contingent on health; the source places him in the must-start category and expects him to continue receiving heavy volume. However, a second mention notes he is not recommended for immediate lineup insertion due to turf toe injury in a tough matchup.

Insight page
PositiveRole15:15

Continues to produce consistently; must-start category as long as healthy; source placed him in must-start last week and expects to continue.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeInjury21:00

Left Week 7 game with quad injury; status for Week 8 completely up in the air. If he misses time, Olly Gordon could see 90% snap share.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveInjury6:03

Trending to return after missing two weeks with an ankle injury; if he plays against Dallas, the source will start him. The matchup is fantastic, though his exact role upon return remains uncertain. His return would push Zonovan Knight to a backup role.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole19:04

Lead back returning from high ankle sprain IR stint, already established as the lead back in his first game back; projects 36.5 rushing yards; played 28 snaps last week compared to JK Dobbins' 12 snaps; outrushed Dobbins 9–6 and saw more targets; the source prefers Coleman over Dobbins rest of season, noting Coleman 'gives him a little bit of juice that JK Dobbins just clearly does not have in his bag right now' and signals 'slowly in the transition of the changing of the guard.'

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection9:20

Must-start for Week 8 as long as he remains with the Colts; the source notes trade speculation but reports the front office does not want to move him. In Week 7, Taylor maintained a 70-30 split over Seth McGawan, accumulating 110 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. The Jaguars have a phenomenal run defense, but expected moderate rain and winds should lead to more carries.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveRole7:49

Returned from a long IR stint in Week 7 and carried the ball heavily in a split with Aaron Jones. If Jones misses Week 8, Mason becomes the bellcow and is projected to receive 15–18+ carries and goal-line work; the source labels him a dub flex despite a tough Detroit run defense matchup. If both play, the backfield remains a split and both are shaky flex options.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveProjection0:19

Start/must-start recommendation for Week 8 after returning last week with strong fantasy performance from pass-catching. The source notes he had a good fantasy day catching passes despite a weak ground game, and argues him into the must-start category despite Green Bay's deteriorated offensive line (lost starting and backup center) and Carolina's strong interior defensive line with Derek Brown.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeRole18:00

Shaky flex RB in a committee backfield splitting snaps with Hampton and Kamani Vidal; projected to receive ~35% of snaps; part of a muddled Chargers backfield with no clear lead back emerging post-bye week.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeRole4:39

Scored the goal-line touchdown in Week 7 in a split backfield with Chase Brown, but the source does not recommend him for lineups if alternatives are available, citing his limited role outside of goal-line situations.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury22:00

Came into Week 7 after missing multiple weeks with hamstring strain; appeared to retweaked it on every run; not used much in second half; very clearly below 100%. Also suffered a back tweak. Despite favorable Washington matchup on paper, the source notes he's 'clearly hampered and likely not going to play 100% of the snaps' and will miss time if reaggravated.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

NegativeRole10:45

Not a start in Week 8 with Jonathan Taylor healthy and the Colts facing Jacksonville's elite run defense. However, if Taylor is traded before Sunday, McGawan becomes interesting as a potential workhorse with 15-20 touches per game; he is a 26-year-old rookie with strong size-speed metrics (sub-4.54 40-time, ~225 lbs) and would be a volume-based low-end RB2/flex play, though the Colts' offensive struggles (poor O-line, weak QB play) limit upside.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveProjection0:41

Flex/start recommendation for Week 8 coming off a three-touchdown performance (RB1 last week). The source notes his floor is raised if Taj Spears is unavailable, guaranteeing approximately 18 touches. Matchup against the Bengals defense is manageable despite their early-season run defense strength from Dexter Lawrence's addition.

0:00Good morning, friends and enemies. In today's video, we are going through the entire week eight slate for fantasy football running backs specific and
0:09letting you know if you should start, you should sit, or you should flex every fantasy relevant running back for this weekend's games. Apologize for missing
0:17the Monday recap live stream. My uh fantasy team did so bad. [ __ ] made me sick to my stomach. So sick I caught the
0:24flu. I'm uh I'm going through this is a this is a flu video right now. So, you're getting Hoodie Nick for the
0:29remainder of the week. We do the same thing for wide receivers tomorrow. So, make sure you subscribe to the channel if you are new. Let's get it. Kick
0:37things off with tomorrow's game.
0:39Carolina at Green Bay. Thursday Night Football. They're in Green Bay. Green Bay three and a half point favorites in this one. A 47 and a half point total.
0:48Carolina coming off of really their first down game of the season as an offensive unit. You know, I was kind of
0:53talking about how I think Tampa Bay's defense is probably better than expected, and I think that was the case.
0:59Regardless, it was just a dominant performance. Not one I'm like overly uh analyzing [snorts] here. Chuba is obviously going right back into your
1:06lineup until we hear some word of Jonathan Brooks's return. And on top of that, we still need to see him get any
1:12sort of meaningful work for us to even ponder Chuba as a non-mustart guy. The other side of the ball is a little bit
1:19more interesting. You have Josh Jacobs who made his return last week. Obviously had a good fantasy day on the back of
1:23catching a bunch of passes. Wasn't great on the ground. Not expecting him to be overly efficient because of the offensive line. Now, we do have some
1:30injuries that I think could be relevant here. Not only did they lose their starting center, but I believe they lost their backup center last week. The Green
1:37Bay Packers did. So, obviously already bad on the offensive line, got worse.
1:41The other in injury I'm keeping an eye on obviously is Matthew Golden, who was DMP Monday, DMP Tuesday. He will probably need to get an eliminated on
1:50Wednesday in order to be active for Thursday's game. If he doesn't end up going, I would just imagine they go pretty runheavy in this one. Regardless,
1:58you know, Josh Jacobs against the Carolina Panthers defense, it like should be a mismatch because uh Green Bay will be pretty weak on the interior
2:08on their offensive line and you have guys like Derek Brown on the defensive line for the Carolina Panthers.
2:15But I just can't stop thinking about what Bucky Irving did to them last week.
2:18Uh, and it's just not really a tough matchup. So, Josh Jacobs, obviously, he's going into your lineup. You could argue him into the mustar category.
2:25Obviously, if you've been holding on to him, he's going to be uh somewhere in your running back slot there. Behind him, you know, no one else is really
2:31getting work. Obviously, Jonathan Brook's not even playing. Not sure why I'm putting him in the rankings, but we can move on from there. Next up, we got
2:36Baltimore at Buffalo. They're playing in Buffalo. This is a 54 and a half point total. So it does feel like it is
2:43trending towards Lamar Jackson playing.
2:45Now there are the reports uh that he is expected to play on Sunday. I still think it's uh I don't think it's a
2:52definite yet. So I I still if you're a Lamar Jackson owner, I would have a backup at quarterback regardless in this
2:59game. You know, you're playing James Cook, you're playing Derrick Henry. Lord knows we need Lamar Jackson back under center for Derrick Henry. He is he's
3:05playing like [ __ ] Eddie Lacy out there when Lamar's not there. Talking about Seahawks, Eddie Lacy, their first round pick, the interior uh offensive
3:13lineman. I I can't remember. I never remember how to say his name, so I don't even try to. He was like the 14th
3:18overall pick for them this year. Really, really strong rookie for him. He got hurt last game, so they're probably going to be without him, but they need
3:24Lamar Jackson out there to really open up lanes for him. Regardless, Derrick Henry again, a minus 235 anytime touchdown line. His rushing yards is up
3:34at 82 and a half, 18 and a half rushing attempts. similar with James Cooks as well. Obviously, you're just playing both of them. It should be a uh firework
3:41fest out there in Buffalo. Next up, we got Tennessee at Cincinnati. Tony Per coming off of his monster monster three touchdown game last week. Was the
3:49fantasy running back one here. It is a 46 and a half point total. The Bengals are 10point favorites in this one. Uh I
3:56don't really care for what Tony Per did last week. It doesn't really change my thoughts on him. What would matter is
4:01whether or not to Taj Spears plays in this game. Taj missed week seven and it's not a huge deal because it's not
4:06like he's taking a ton of work, but it does just continuously raise the floor of Tony Pard in terms of his touch
4:11count. You know, it's like pretty much a guaranteed 18 touches if Taj Spears is out. Again, you're playing the Bengals who were great early on in terms of, you
4:19know, defense against the run because of the addition of Dexter Lawrence. And I still think they're not like a really easy defense to run against, but overall
4:25per is definitely a dub flex and you can throw him into your lineup and feel okay about it. On the flip side, we got Chase
4:30Brown and Sama Perine. They're in this weird split. So, I tweeted this out yesterday about Chase Brown's uh usage, not only up to this point, but in week
4:39seven, right? It felt like last week was a weird week cuz Samaji Piran ended up getting the goal line score, but Chase
4:44Brown still played on 75% of the snaps.
4:46He ran 60% of the routes at 60% of the carries, played on 100% of the two-minute drill snaps, which are the
4:53valuable snaps. This offense just goes very, very pass heavy, and the majority of the targets go to Chase Higgins. I can't necessarily blame them. Chase
5:00Brown got in on a play and they got down to the one yard line and then they took him out in favor of Somachi Perine. Now,
5:06I've heard conflicting reports that Chase Brown kind of got like banged up on the play for a second, had to come
5:10out and that's why they put Perine in, but I I don't know that that's true.
5:13Regardless, I know we're just beating a dead horse here. I still want to continue to attach guys like Chase Brown who, you know, are probably not that
5:21talented, but the Bengals are the fourth highest scoring offense in the NFL.
5:26They're 10-point favorites in this one.
5:27like they're going to continue to score a lot of points and eventually the touchdown luck is going to merge in favor of Chase Brown. So for this game
5:36is going back into my lineup. Sama P Ryan, you know, still involved, but wouldn't would not want him in my lineup
5:42if I could help it. Arizona at Dallas.
5:45They're in Dallas. A 54 12 point total here because both defenses are quite atrocious. We have Javvante Williams.
5:52He's going into the must start coming off a really big game. The Cowboys are six and a half point favorites in this
5:56one. Behind Javvante, there's nobody.
5:58But on the Cardinal side of the ball, this is where things get a little bit tricky because we have Jeremiah Love,
6:03who it does seem to be trending in the direction of him returning after missing two weeks with his ankle injury. Still
6:10remains a question of how much work he's going to get, how good he's going to look when he's on the field, but the
6:15matchup is fantastic. And in his absence, it was pretty much a pure split between Zonovan Knight and Tyler Algier.
6:20And it looked like Zonovan Knight was the better runner. So Jeremiah Love returns this week. Do I imagine him going back to a bellcow role? Probably
6:27not. But I do imagine this being some sort of like 1A 1Bish situation where Zonovan Knight just goes back to kind of
6:34taking a backseat as maybe a dude who sprinkles in for a drive or maybe like a two-minute drill or something like that.
6:40I would hold on to Zonovan Knight though cuz I I I don't think it's a guarantee that Jeremiah Love suits up. I think
6:46it's more likely than not if he does get a practice in on Wednesday. He trends in the right direction. But I would hold on
6:50to Z tonight because the matchup's obviously phenomenal against Dallas. If I have Jeremiah Love and he plays against Dallas, he's going to be in my
6:56lineup. Neither of the other guys are going to be in my lineup. So, we'll throw him into the rather not category
7:01and move on. If he doesn't end up playing, then I think Zonovan Knight is probably a dub flex for me and Algier
7:07probably goes into the shaky flex category. Next up, we got Minnesota at Detroit. A 46 12 point total here. They are in Detroit. Detroit is three-point
7:16favorites. You know, they're playing in the dome. Minnesota's probably the toughest defense to do anything against fantasy-wise. I'm excited to see what
7:25Minnesota actually looks like against a legitimate like scoring team, you know, and a team that could beat them and probably end their undefeated season
7:33here or end their undefeated streak here. Gibbs obviously goes right into the mustart category. We don't have a lot of word on Aaron Jones and Jordan
7:40Mason right now because Aaron Jones seems to have aggravated his knee. So last week, Jordan Mason made his return from, you know, the long IR stint there
7:49and um carried the ball a lot. It was obviously a split backfield between Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. Jones started the game, got the majority of
7:56work very very early on. Then they started kind of like splitting drives and then Aaron Jones ended up reagravating the MCL sprain that he
8:03aggravated earlier in the season. It does not seem to be overly serious. It's not guaranteed that he ends up missing this upcoming game here. He's listed as
8:11dayto-day. Most people that I've listened to that have that are kind of in the no consider it probably 5149 in favor of him missing this upcoming week
8:21and that would obviously mean Jordan Mason becomes the bellcow. I don't think Detroit's like a really really easy run defense to get things going against but
8:29everything would kind of condense to Jordan Mason. We'd have DJ Dallas playing a little bit of a role as maybe like the two-minute drill guy. Jordan
8:35Mason's obviously not a great pass catching back but he probably would get 15 to 18 plus carries. should get any goal line work if they got down into
8:42that situation. So overall, I' I'd label him as a dub flex. I don't overly love the matchup, but the situation would be
8:49great. If Aaron Jones ends up playing, this probably makes both of them a shaky flex. It's hard to trust either of them
8:54right now. Every time I tweet about Jordan Mason, they're like, "Oh, he's the guy. He's the guy. He's the guy."
8:58Like, it's it's clear as day. But like, it's it's so not clear. It's like the least clear thing I've ever seen. People
9:04were like, "Oh, back in week one, like it was clear that they wanted to ride him." Aaron Jones started in week one.
9:09it was a 50-50 split between the two of them. So, if when they're both on the field, they clearly want to use both of
9:14them. I think there's a chance that they're still in the market for trading for a uh a running back, and we'll talk
9:19a little bit more about that in the next game, which is Indie at Jacksonville.
9:23They're playing in Jacksonville. It's a 46 1/2 point total here. The Jaguars are 9 and 1 half point favorites. Obviously, the Colts are kind of on a fire sail
9:31right now. They got rid of the Forest Buckner. They got rid of Quinton Nelson.
9:35And it seems like Jonathan Taylor on paper would be next up. However, there was a report that came out yesterday saying that the front office does not
9:41want to trade Jonathan Taylor. I don't know if I really buy that or believe that. We have so many instances of
9:47coaches or GMs coming out and saying things and then like the next day something else happens. So, obviously if JT gets moved between now and Sunday,
9:54it's a different conversation for now.
9:56Like even with the fire sale, JT is obviously going to be in your lineup as long as he's playing for the Colts. We
10:02did see a little bit of like a, you know, a shortening in the gap between himself and Seth McGawan in week seven,
10:09which is likely, you know, it's like maybe he is a trade candidate. We want to see what the offense would look like
10:14with McGawan under it. We don't want to get Jonathan Taylor overly hurt. It's not like it was a 50-50 split. It was
10:19still like 7030. Taylor got the majority of touches. Went for 110 from scrimmage and a touchdown. It's not like I I think
10:25that story line's probably going to be way more noisy than it needs to be this week. The unfortunate part is they play
10:29the Jaguars obviously and that's a phenomenal phenomenal run defense. So it's going to be tough to have a big day regardless. Uh we are expecting some bad
10:37weather as well. We have some moderate rain. Uh 60% chance of rain with winds up to 15 mph which doesn't really affect
10:44the ground game that much. I would actually expect that to probably lead to more carries and rushing work regardless. So we got JT and must start.
10:52Uh you know I'm not starting Seth McGowan. I would say if JT ends up getting moved by Sunday, which you know,
10:57who knows? McGowan becomes interesting.
10:59He probably takes over as some sort of workhorse. I would imagine they mix in some other like passcatching passing down back here and the matchup is so
11:08difficult that, you know, I wouldn't expect much. Uh like I have a team where I have Jordan Mason and Seth McGawan.
11:15And if I let's say JT gets moved and Aaron Jones is out, I would be playing Jordan Mason over Seth McGawan. I'd be
11:22excited to have McGowan long term because, you know, he'll have a ton of workhorse appeal. He's he's a rookie this year. He was drafted in the seventh
11:30round, but he's 26 years old. I don't know how a rookie you mean 26 years old, but he's 26 years old. He is 20 almost
11:3725 pounds, ran a sub4540, so he's got a really good combination of size and speed. Whether that translates to being a good NFL running back, I
11:46don't know. But it does make him interesting for sure. He's very clearly like the handcuffed, the direct handcuff to JT, which is important because
11:53there's a lot of situations where you're just projecting who the next guy up would be. But we know clearly that McGawan would be, you know, a 15 to 20
12:00touch per game back if JT were to get moved. The problem is the offense is so bad. They just lost their best offensive
12:06lineman, Quinton Nelson, in the trade to Seattle. Daniel Jones cannot keep an offensive drive going. Like, it's brutal out there in Indie. So, you know, he's
12:13like a volumebased low-end RB2 flex play for you. uh in this matchup it would be kind of gross. On the flip side, you
12:20know, you get rid of DeForest Buckner, the Colts defense is already atrocious.
12:23Number one in EPA per rush allowed, number three in success rate per rush allowed, eighth most fantasy points to the running back position. Bashaw Tuton
12:30looks phenomenal coming off the buy at two touchdowns in London before the buy.
12:34He is the clear workhorse, the clear bellcow. To me, he's in the must-ar category in a matchup like this. Moving to the Raiders at the New York Jets. The
12:43Jets are one and a half point favorites at home. A 45 12 point total here. We are expecting I believe Bruce Hall to be
12:51back for this game. He's missed the previous three games. If he misses this game and they didn't put him on the IR
12:57be a little bit weird, but I guess it's a little bit difficult to project that far out. Coming back from the quad
13:02strain, we have a weird situation where Braille Allen has played well enough that there are a lot of people saying it
13:08should be a 50/50. I think this happens quite often with backup running backs kind of like being good enough that like, oh, when the starter returns, you
13:17know, this is going to be a split back field. I think more often than not that doesn't happen. I think they paid Bree
13:22Hall to be their workhorse there. And I think if he's healthy enough to play and he's 90%, I think Bree Hall is is the
13:29guy. Do I think it's going to be an 80% split? No. I think it'll be similar to what we've seen when Bruce Hall has been
13:35on the field with him and Brilon Allen where it's, you know, 70 and maybe 30% to Brilon or like 65 Bree, 30 Bron, five
13:43Isaiah Davis. I'm expecting Bree Hall to play. He got two limited practices in last week. As long as he can get a full
13:48practice in this week, I think he should be good to go. The matchup is pretty good against the Las Vegas Raiders. I'm
13:53going to put him into the feels good category. I'm going to put Brayon Allen into the shaky flex category. Like I
13:57guess he'll still be involved and maybe he gets a goal line carrier or two and gets in to the end zone. But I think if
14:02Reese is healthy, it's not a pure, you know, 50-50 split like some people are, you know, kind of begging for right now.
14:08I think it's the same thing on the flip side with Ashen Genty, who has struggled like crazy on the ground. His efficiency
14:13is so so bad running the ball, but he's so involved in the passing game. He is the RB 13 right now in PPR leagues
14:20because of how good he's been through the air. This is a matchup where he can definitely get into the end zone as
14:25well. So, you know, we're not going to overthink this. He's obviously going to be in our lineup against the Jets here.
14:29Mike Washington, unfortunately, just not getting anywhere near enough run to be uh lineup viable. Next up, we got Cleveland at Pittsburgh. So, this is a
14:3739 12 point total. Lowscoring game. Of course, the Steelers are three and a half point favorites. They've got a pretty good defense right now. Quan
14:44Judkins coming off of a really, really, really strong game. Um, however, I I kind of look at him as Tony Pard. like
14:50yeah, he'll have a string of like three or four bad games and just because he has a good game mixed in there does not
14:55mean I like raise his floor all the way up or raise his ceiling all the way up.
14:59So, he's going to be a dub flex for me.
15:00A guy that, you know, is probably going to get 15 plus carries. He'll get any of the goal line work when they get down
15:05there, but he's plus 140 for an anytime touchdown. We don't want to overemphasize one good week out of Quinnshot Judkins. We also did have the
15:11return of Dylan Samson who plays a decent amount of the passing down snaps, but he's not someone I want in my
15:16lineup. On the flip side, Jaylen Warden continues to eat and I honestly um put him in the must-ar category last week.
15:22He will continue to be a mustar for me as long as he is healthy. And then Rico Dael I I Rico, you know, gets enough
15:27work where I think he's like startable for you, but he's going to go into the shaky flex category cuz I don't like you
15:32could do worse than having the second running back on a team than Rico Dattle for sure. Um like he'll get eight to 10
15:37carries. He'll probably get you around 50 total yards. He hasn't I don't think he scored a single touchdown this year and he he is coming off of a six catch
15:44game which you know when you're with Rogers you always have the upside of catching a bunch of passes out of the
15:49backfield more often than not he'll probably catch two passes in a game so he probably gives you a floor of like
15:53six or seven PPR points but unless he scores a touchdown you're not going to get much ceiling out of him. Next up
15:58we've got Atlanta at Tampa Bay. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are two and a half point favorites. A 45 12 point total
16:05here. Bucky Irving coming off of a massive game. He's got 84 total yards as a player prop line, two and a half
16:12receptions, anytime touchdown of minus 130. Falcons run defense is, you know, pretty good. Had a monster week last week. They got ahead so so quickly and
16:20so early and just such a large lead that, you know, he he didn't really have to do much in the second quarter to
16:26second half. Otherwise, he might have put up like 40 fantasy points last week.
16:31Um, I think at this point, Bucky Irving is probably in that Jaylen Warren mold where you're going to get a bunch of
16:35touches. you have a very high weekly ceiling. Not always going to come to fruition, but yeah, he's around that range where it's like Genty, Jaylen
16:42Warren, Bashalt, and Josh Jacobs. I think those guys make sense. So whether or not you want to put him in the top of
16:47the fields, good or you want to be reactionary and put him in the bottom of the must start because last week either
16:51way is fine by me, but he'll be uh probably a pretty solid RB1 and then Bejian of course regardless of the tough
16:57matchup, he is going into your lineup and there's no one else here that we want to play. Let's actually check out
17:01the quick weather alerts. Probably nothing too serious here. Moderate rain, nine 10 mph wind. Yeah, nothing too crazy for the runners here in Tampa Bay.
17:10Next up, we got the Chargers at the LA Rams. The Chargers coming off of their by-week, which was very badly needed. I
17:16believe there's a chance they get Joe Alt back. The Rams are 6 and a half point favorites here. This is a 45 12
17:23point total. Got both the LA teams playing in their stadium. Kairen's awesome will continue to get really, really involved in the passing game as
17:29Dvonte Adams misses time here. minus 160 to score a touchdown. Underneath him, you got Blake Horm who's getting a bunch of work as well. They won't always have
17:36the game script that they had last week where both of them can, you know, run for 90 plus yards. Uh I still think
17:41Blake Horm is definitely someone you can have in your lineup, though. He's kind of in that like Rico Dattle mold.
17:45Probably a little bit higher than him.
17:47For me, I don't feel great about having him in my flex because you do need the game script to go in his favor in order
17:51for him to have any sort of ceiling game for you, but you could definitely do worse than him. On the flip side, you
17:56could do better than almost every running back in this backfield. On the flip side for the Chargers, we still have an absolute mess in the back field.
18:02Splitting snaps between Hampton, Katon Mitchell, Kamani Vidal. Do they try to reset things and get Hampton going again after the buy, it just didn't seem like
18:09there was anything, you know, pointing in that direction pre-by that would make us think that was going to be the case.
18:15I'll put Hampton, I guess, in the dub flex or the uh sorry, in the shaky flex category. Katon Mitchell will probably
18:20get 35% of the snaps. You could throw him in the shaky flex category. I guess this is a Rams defense that is down a
18:26bunch of players, right? They lost a bunch of guys to the IR last week. Kobe Turner, Una Ford are out. Miles Garrett
18:31could resume practicing sometime soon.
18:33Nate Landman was out for this one. One of their top linebackers. So, they had a lot of injuries on the defensive front.
18:39We'll kind of have to keep an eye on practice reports, see if Landman andor Miles Garrett can kind of make a return
18:43here. If all those guys are out, again, you know, maybe we could see a little bit of success on the ground uh for
18:48Hampton, but like obviously if you have any of these guys, you are praying not to have to put them into your lineup at
18:54this point in the season until you see something out of them. Next up, we've got Kansas City at Denver. Denver one
18:58and a half point underdogs despite being at home in mile high. It's a 41 and a half point total. Of course, Kenneth
19:04Walker is going right into the mustart category. The other side of things a little bit tricky because we have Jonah Coleman who made his return from his IR
19:10stint off of a high ankle sprain first game back here and they already have him as the lead back which I would agree
19:19with. Jonah Coleman 36 and a half rushing yards. JK Dobbins down to 24 and a half. Coleman played on 28 snaps last
19:26week. Dobbins just 12. He outrushed him nine to six. Uh saw more targets, was just more involved. Dobbins did get the
19:34one carry inside the 5yd line. So, it's very very tricky to see or to predict what Shawn Payton's going to do in that
19:41backfield on a week- toeek basis. This is also a very very tough matchup against a Kansas City run defense. So, I
19:46don't want to get out over my skis.
19:48Jonah Coleman, I would much prefer to own over JK Dobbins rest of season. And I think we are slowly in the transition
19:55of the ch of the changing of the guard.
19:56Jonah Coleman just gives him a little bit of juice that JK Dobbins just clearly does not have in his bag right
20:01now. RJ Harvey took a very very big screen to the house last week which is always going to be part of his game.
20:06He's very very boom bust at this point but he gets very involved in the passing game. So I think the only two startable
20:10players in this backfield would be Harvey and Coleman at this point. And I think it's fine starting either of them, but I would look at them in the Blake
20:17and Rico Dow kind of atmosphere here.
20:19And Dobbins, you know, I'd probably put him into the rather not. Wouldn't be surprised if if it ends up still being
20:24like a 30, 35, 40% split in this back field. But they're just like a much better version of Hampton Katon Mitchell. It's like R.J. Harvey over
20:31Katon Mitchell, Jonah Coleman over Amari Hampton right now. They're in the shaky flex category, but they're probably towards the top of it. If this was a
20:38good matchup, I'd have a lot more optimism towards what this backfield duo could be. Next up, we've got New England at Miami. They are in Miami. The
20:46Dolphins are seven-point underdogs, 43 and a half point total here. Patriots run defense has been okay. Kind of middle of the pack. Olly Gordon has now
20:53scored in four straight games. I'm just not going to overthink it. He's going right into the uh feels good category.
20:59You put him in your lineup if you have them. He continues to impress. Jaylen Wright also left their week seven game
21:04with uh I believe a quad injury. So his status for week eight completely up in the air. We could again see like a 90%
21:10snap share for Ali Gordon. So the floor is very very very high. On the flip side for the Patriots, it kind of feels like
21:17a one-man show right now with Raandre getting any sort of valuable touches here. He's catching passes. He gets the goal line work. He had a big receiving
21:25touchdown at the end of the first half last week, which is obviously not predictive, but he's the one you feel the best about. And this is a great
21:31match up against Miami. So I will be putting him into the feels good category. Trevan Henderson uh pretty much unplayable at this point. You know,
21:39obviously can spark a big play at any point, but of course you cannot depend on that. Cory Ker getting a little bit
21:44of run too. So it really is the Raandre show in that back field. Let's just make sure that weather report is nothing too
21:49serious here. It is a yellow status. We have 65% chance of rain there. Uh no real wind, so not overly concerning there for
21:58running backs. Next up, we got Philly at Washington for Sunday Night Football.
22:02Philly is five and a half point underdogs at Washington, a 40 and a half point total. Really difficult backfield to figure out right now for Philly
22:10because we don't have any injury update.
22:12Saquon came into the game after missing multiple weeks with a hamstring strain.
22:16It seemed like he retweaked it on every run that he had. I don't know what his status is going forward. He was not used
22:22much in the second half. So, he's very, very clearly below 100%. If he reagravated it, he's going to miss more time. Of course, he says he's okay. you
22:31know, he had a little bit of a back tweak. So, it's it's a great match up on paper against Washington, but since he's
22:37clearly hampered and likely not going to play 100% of the snaps here, you know, we're going to put him into the feels
22:43good category. He's probably going into my lineup. It's obviously a tough start and it's going to be a tough watch to go
22:48out there and see him kind of like limping around. He said he's going to he said he's going to be fine, so we just
22:53going to trust him on that. Behind him, Damen Pierce ended up getting hurt in this one. So, Elijah Mitchell, blast from the past, came in and got a little
22:59bit of work here. So Saquon ends up missing time and it's literally just Elijah Mitchell back there. I don't know what else they could do because you have
23:06Will Shipley out, Damen Pierce would miss time, Saquon Barkley's out like might be the Elijah Mitchell show. He used to be kind of explosive like seven
23:13years ago. Could low-key be a good time against Washington. And on the other side, we have Rashad White who should be
23:18basically assuming a workhorse role because you have Jakori Kroski Morett on the IR. They're coming off of a buy, but in their week six game against San
23:24Francisco, Rashad White basically operated as a bellcow. He was playing on the early downs, the third downs, long down and distance, and all of the two
23:34and four-minute drill snaps. The only thing he didn't get was the carry inside the five, which Jeremy McNichols got.
23:40But other than that, it was all Rashad White playing around 75 to 80% of the snaps. So, this is a Philadelphia
23:45defense that really does not have to be feared right now. And Jaden Daniels, you know, you have no Terry McLaren, so
23:50they're down weapons. And I do think Rashad White is a pretty pretty good start. So, I'm going to put him into the
23:54dub flex category. and he feels, you know, good enough that I would put him relatively high up in it cuz I think his
23:59role is going to be really, really juicy and he'll catch a decent amount of dump offs. Then we got Monday Night Football.
24:04Chicago at Seattle. Uh Seattle three-point favorites here. 46 and a half point total here. I think we're expecting Char back, but like we were
24:13also expecting him back last week and I don't know that we've seen any like glowing reports that say that he is a
24:18sure thing to be suited up for week eight. You know, there was a report, I think, from Rapaort saying he's expected
24:23to play week eight, but I'm pretty sure that exact same report came out in week seven. Obviously, if he's not playing,
24:28Emanuel Wilson once again feels good.
24:30Not a good player, but a good matchup and he just scores fantasy points cuz he gets so many touches. And this is an
24:35offense that like JSN takes him all the way down the field. So, you're probably going to be in the red zone enough
24:40times. And Brian Flory sucks at play calling. So, he'll just give Emanuel Wilson five carries inside the five yard line. If Sharp does play, I don't know
24:48that I could play anyone in this back field. I don't know how the split is going to work out. I just can't imagine
24:53they give him a ton of work out the gate. So, I'd imagine it's some sort of like either driveby drive split or Sharp
25:01is in a third down role, Emanuel Wilson gets the early downs or vice versa where Sharb gets the early downs and then like
25:06George Hani's playing the passing work.
25:08So, like if Sharb is active, he'd be in the shaky flex category for me. Not excited whatsoever to play him. anytime
25:14touching line at minus 140 is uh quite spicy there. So they obviously assume him to be the goal linebacker and I
25:20think you know that makes a little bit of sense. He was that guy last year and then I'm obviously not playing Emanuel
25:25Wilson or George Hani if he is active.
25:27On the flip side we have DeAndre Swift, Kyle Manungai, Roshan Johnson. Obviously no Roshan Johnson not in our lineups regardless of Manungai status. This is
25:36an extremely tough matchup of course against Seattle here. One of the best run defenses in the NFL. That being said, I still don't know the status of
25:44Kyle Manungai. He's missed the last couple games with a turf toe injury.
25:48Now, there was a tweet that said out on the practice field yesterday for Chicago, there was no sign of Kyle Manungai. However, this is a Monday
25:56night game, so there's no actual official practice for the Bears until Thursday. So, we won't actually know what his status is for practicing until
26:04after tomorrow's practice. So, a Tuesday like fake practice report I'm not going to look too much into. I will say we
26:10haven't seen Mongai on the practice field whatsoever. Hasn't got a limited in yet. So I still think it's a very very 5050 type of chance that he suits
26:18up for this one on Monday. He does get the extra day of rest. But regardless if Swift is in the backfield by himself,
26:24yeah, it's a ridiculously hard matchup, but he's going to get so much work. The Chicago Bears offense is, you know, maybe they have trouble moving the ball,
26:31but they just look so good with with uh Caleb Williams under center. They're averaging like 40 points a game. So, he'll get enough volume to offset any
26:38concerns there. If Manungai does play, I probably move swift down to the feels good category just because the matchup is so tough and now you probably do
26:45actually have to project to siphon off, you know, 8 to 10 touches with Kungai in the mix. But Monungai is definitely not
26:51a dude that I'm looking to put into my lineup right away off of the turf toe injury in this type of matchup. One
26:56other thing I should include from the Seattle side of things, they obviously just traded for Quint Nelson, which is a massive upgrade to their interior
27:02offensive line. They did just lose Charles Cross, their starting tackle last week to a high ankle sprain. So, he's gonna miss some time. So, it's kind
27:09of like subtract cross, adding Quinton Nelson. Nelson's still a beast. Gonna be great for the run game and the pass game
27:15once the line is fully healthy, of course. So, upgrade overall to the running backs in the room. Just still obviously hard to project what the
27:22split's going to be in Sharp's first game back here. All right, so we'll wrap up there. That is the full uh running
27:28back ranking video for you. We'll go into poster mode so you guys can see this. We've got 13 must starts.
27:33Honestly, if you guys have these guys on your team, they're probably going to be must starts for you anyway. So, we're
27:38probably closer to like 15 or 16 actual RB1s uh on the week. But, we've got seven feels goods. We got six Dove
27:43flexes, 11 shaky flexers, and eight rather knots. Uh if you want the actual, you know, order and listing of all these
27:51guys, plus the flex plays, receivers, etc. Uh those are available in the rankings, which are live by the time you guys watch this on the site bdge.co for
27:59fantasy members. If you enjoyed the video, make sure you hit the button that looks like this. Subscribe to the channel if you're new here. And if you
28:05want to see the wide receiver version of this same video tomorrow. All right, do it every week. Love y'all. I'm out of
28:11here. Smoochies.
