Adonai Mitchell

PositiveValue20:27

Adonai Mitchell is a high-level target earner, posting a 23.1% target share, 0.26 targets per route run, and 2.16 yards per route run. Rj Harvey prefers him over Denzel Boston due to his high route participation and the fact that Geno Smith is a reliable quarterback who clearly likes him.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury43:27

Alec Pierce re-aggravated a heel injury on Sunday Night Football that he had been dealing with throughout the summer, raising concerns about his availability and opening up targets for teammates.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage8:16

Despite being viewed as 'cooked' and past his prime, Alvin Kamara remains a waiver wire consideration due to his 15-touch volume, though his six targets on nine routes are deemed unsustainable. His heavy snap usage negatively impacts the fantasy value of other running backs in the New Orleans backfield.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveInjury42:11

Caleb Douglas is out for the foreseeable future with a high ankle sprain, which significantly impacts the target distribution for the Miami receiving corps.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury37:12

Caleb Williams is dealing with a grade one hamstring strain that will likely cause him to miss time, though he may avoid short-term IR. The uncertainty regarding his return timeline makes him a risky target for superflex leagues.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeUsage42:31

Despite the injury to Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell did not see an increase in snaps or routes from Week 1 to Week 2, making him a stash candidate with low immediate expectations.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury23:45

DJ Moore is dealing with a shoulder stinger and is considered day-to-day. While there is a chance he suits up for Week 3, his injury status creates temporary uncertainty in the Bills' receiving corps.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue55:30

Dalton Schultz should be the number one waiver wire pickup at tight end after dominating week two in scoring, targets, and receiving yards; his value is further bolstered by the likely absence of Nico Collins in week three.

Insight page

Darren Waller

NegativeUsage30:30

Rj Harvey advises against adding Darren Waller, noting that he is not running enough routes to be a viable fantasy option, despite his touchdown production.

Insight page

David Njoku

NegativeInjury53:51

David Njoku is dealing with a fibula injury that is expected to be long-term, with medical evaluations suggesting he will be sidelined for an extended stretch of the season.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeUsage9:29

Devon Achane's fantasy value is being actively crushed by the Dolphins' coaching staff's desire to rotate other backs into the offense, regardless of his high draft capital. Rj Harvey notes that Kellen Moore does not seem to care that the front office invested $28 million guaranteed in Achane this offseason, making the current backfield rotation a total disaster for his fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeBreakout14:43

Denzel Boston is a recommended bench stash due to his explosive playmaking ability, YAC skills, and high route participation (over 90%). However, he currently lacks the consistent volume required for a reliable weekly starter, and his fantasy floor is severely capped by the Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation. He holds a 21.2% target share and 0.20 targets per route run, but is difficult to trust until he earns more volume or the team's quarterback play improves.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection28:32

Deshaun Watson's inconsistent performance creates a low weekly floor for Cleveland pass-catchers, as he is capable of games with minimal yardage and multiple interceptions.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

NegativeValue21:49

Rj Harvey has cooled on Dontayvion Wicks, viewing him as a high-ceiling, low-floor player similar to Adonai Mitchell. Ultimately, Harvey prefers Mitchell due to his superior ability to create separation and explosive plays.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage3:42

Emanuel Wilson is a recommended spot-start priority. After Jarian Price's injury, Wilson handled 15 of 19 backfield opportunities and logged a 41% snap share. He is expected to serve as the early-down grinder, particularly in positive game scripts, though he should be avoided if the backfield is healthy.

Insight page

Emari Demercado

PositiveBreakout7:43

Demercado has looked good behind Kenneth Walker III and is considered a high-value handcuff, potentially having a larger role than Tank Bigsby if the starter were to get injured.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury0:57

JK Dobbins suffered a slight hamstring tweak; while he claims to be fine, there is skepticism regarding his actual health status given his history of optimism.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury5:48

There is uncertainty regarding whether Price will miss Week 3, with conflicting reports on the severity of his injury. Wednesday practice reports will be the key indicator for his status.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveValue55:24

Jake Ferguson is a recommended waiver wire target, favored slightly over Gadden due to the superior quality of the Rams' offense, despite a tough upcoming schedule.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveBreakout40:00

Jameis Winston is a high-upside gamble in superflex leagues due to his willingness to push the ball downfield. Despite a poor Week 1 performance under heavy pressure (58% pressure rate), he offers more weekly upside than other options, especially if Malik Nabers is healthy.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveInjury38:01

Despite concerns about an elbow dislocation, reports suggest Jayden Daniels is optimistic about avoiding surgery and may return sooner than expected, potentially playing with a brace.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveBreakout2:10

Jonah Coleman is a priority waiver wire add (suggested 12-14% FAAB bid) due to his explosive play and potential for a larger role. He saw 45% of snaps with RJ Harvey sidelined and an uptick in usage when Dobbins left. Despite backfield competition, his long-term outlook is supported by offseason optimism from Sean Payton.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeUsage45:24

Jonathan Taylor remains a key part of the target distribution in the offense, having consistently earned targets since Shane Steichen took over as head coach.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveUsage43:46

Josh Downs is expected to earn a high volume of targets over the middle of the field, especially with Alec Pierce's injury opening up additional opportunities. Rj Harvey projects Downs and Tyler Warren to command 60-70% of the team's targets weekly.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue11:18

Josh Jacobs is a touchdown-dependent fantasy asset whose value is currently hampered by a poor Green Bay offensive line and injury concerns. While he is expected to reclaim the primary bellcow role upon his return from suspension—potentially as early as Week 7—the current lack of scoring opportunities makes him a risky target for low-ball offers.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeInjury43:46

Keenan Allen is facing a potential three-game suspension related to a DUI, though the timing remains uncertain as it likely depends on the legal process playing out.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeUsage8:10

Kendre Miller scored a touchdown in Week 2 after being a healthy scratch in Week 1, but remains part of a crowded backfield situation and has been inconsistent in terms of active status.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection7:46

Walker is described as an absolute animal, serving as the clear lead back in his offense.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeBust23:51

Keon Coleman is viewed as a potential one-week roster band-aid if DJ Moore misses time, as he ran 81% of routes in the last game. However, Rj Harvey is not prioritizing him on waivers, noting he is not a long-term solution. Coleman follows a recurring early-season hype cycle where teams force targets due to draft capital, but he eventually fades as his limited NFL-level ability becomes apparent.

Insight page

Laquon Treadwell

PositiveSleeper28:32

Laquan Treadwell is a deep-league pickup candidate if Keenan Allen is suspended, as he would likely serve as the primary outside receiver. Rj Harvey compares him to the Dontayvion Wicks archetype and notes that a suspension would clear a path for both routes and targets.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveUsage28:24

Malik Washington has emerged as a floor play due to Miami's poor depth and injuries. He is seeing a vastly different role this year, shifting from a screen-heavy 'PPR scammer' role (sub-6 yard aDOT) to a downfield threat with an 11.77-yard aDOT and four deep targets through two games, compared to just seven deep targets over the previous two years combined.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeBust10:42

MarShawn Lloyd has been a disappointment for fantasy managers, failing to secure a consistent role in the Green Bay backfield. He lost playing time and trust following a fumble, recording zero touches after the turnover. He has not looked effective in his limited opportunities, and Caleb Johnson has out-carried him and looked better on the field.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

NegativeInjury36:36

Mason Taylor is dealing with a thumb injury that could potentially land him on IR; fantasy managers should monitor his status as his absence would increase route opportunities for Kenyan Sadi.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveValue41:35

Rashod Bateman is a recommended flex play for Week 3, especially if Zay Flowers remains sidelined by his hamstring strain, given Bateman's recent performance and the upcoming matchup against Dallas.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury2:28

RJ Harvey is dealing with a hamstring strain that could sideline him for one to three weeks. If J.K. Dobbins is also out, Harvey is expected to split the backfield with Jonah Coleman, though Tyler Badie may eat into his snaps on pass-blocking reps.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:54

Saquon Barkley sustained a stinger to his shoulder; while the injury is not considered overly serious, there is a possibility he could miss a game if the stinger flares up during the week.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveSleeper5:31

Bigsby is considered a priority handcuff who should be stashed in leagues with 10-12 or more managers, despite currently splitting carries with Will Shipley. He has a clearer path to playing time in the immediate future due to current injury circumstances in the Jacksonville backfield.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeBust8:03

Travis Etienne Jr. is struggling to meet fantasy expectations, failing to provide consistent production in full PPR formats, and is not outplaying his backfield counterparts. Rj Harvey expressed frustration over his low point production.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeBust22:54

Trey Tucker is characterized as a 'fake' wide receiver who provides inconsistent production. Once Brock Bowers returns to the field, there is almost no confidence in Tucker maintaining any fantasy consistency.

Insight page

Tyler Badie

NegativeUsage4:22

Tyler Badie is expected to be an annoyance in the backfield rotation, specifically by taking pass-blocking snaps away from RJ Harvey.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveUsage45:17

Tyler Warren is projected to be a primary target earner in the offense, with Rj Harvey operating under the assumption that Warren and Josh Downs will command 60-70% of the team's targets weekly.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

NegativeRole37:46

Tyson Bagent will fill in for the injured Caleb Williams, but faces a difficult schedule including Philadelphia, the Jets, and Green Bay.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury41:35

Zay Flowers is dealing with a hamstring strain; despite a limited practice, his status for Week 3 remains uncertain as teams often prioritize safety with lingering hamstring issues.

0:00Good morning, friends and enemies. You know why you're here. It's the Waiverwire show for week three. Me and Michael will be going down the trending
0:09tab on Sleeper to talk about all the highest trending players. All right, the running back injuries that happened this week, the quarterback injuries that
0:15happened this week for you superflex hoes out there. All right, of course, wide receivers, tight ends, all that good stuff. You guys know the deal. If
0:21you enjoy the video, make sure you hit the button that looks like this.
0:24Subscribe to the channel if you are new here and want to see the running back rankings tomorrow. wide receiver rankings on Thursday as always and we've
0:31got a special one coming out for you guys on Friday. So stay tuned, subscribe, and enjoy that video. All right, Michael, we're going to start off
0:37with everyone's favorite position, running back and a little bit spicier this week thanks to some injuries that occurred throughout the weekend. Now,
0:47most of the injuries do not seem to be significant. Uh that's kind of my read on the situation. You have Jaren Price
0:53going down with the chest injury. You've got Saquon Barkley with the stinger to his shoulder. You've got JK Dobbins with a slight hamstring tweak to which he's
1:01come out and said, "I'm good." Uh, you know, JK Dobbins just loves talking about his health in the most optimistic, you know, viewpoint uh on Twitter and on
1:10planet Earth. So, who knows if he's actually good. But based on, you know, the three running backs available from the injured running backs ahead of them,
1:17is there anyone that you feel like does have a little bit of staying power relative to the other ones based on
1:22maybe the injury length or the talent or the situation? It's really kind of all the same. I think for the most part out
1:29of these guys, what you're really hoping for is a spot start. I will say that Jonah Coleman will be my priority. He
1:37shows some pop. He shows some juice. And we know that there are also two paths to him playing a meaningful role in this
1:44backfield, whether it be a Harvey injury or a Dobbins injury. And we see that play out last week with RJ Harvey
1:51sidelined. It is roughly 45% of the snaps for Jonah Coleman. And then he sees an uptick in usage as soon as
1:58Dobbins leaves the game with the hamstring issue. And then there's reason to believe as well that he could be playing his way into a larger role even
2:06when all of these guys are healthy. Will it be a fantasy relevant role? I'm still skeptical on that. But the reports all
2:13offseason long, even from Shawn Payeyton himself, have been optimistic about what Jonah Coleman can do. So, I think he is the priority out of this group, but if
2:22you're looking for a spot start, I do think Emanuel Wilson is the go-to guy.
2:27Wilson, he plays upwards of 70% of the snaps after Price leaves. I will say also that they clarify that it was a
2:34shoulder issue for Jarian Price uh on Monday. Mike McDonald clarified that, but Emanuel Wilson gets really encouraging usage. He ends up logging a
2:4341% snap share on the game in its entirety. But after Jarian Price exited, he saw 15 of the 19 backfield opportunities. Did Emanuel Wilson. I do
2:53think the game script influenced that usage because Emanuel Wilson, he is kind of the early down grinder. George Hani will be the pass catching and two-minute
3:02back, but he is someone who can rack up volume in positive game scripts in spots where the Seattle Seahawks are leading.
3:09Next up, they've got the Washington Commanders in week three, the Jaden Danielless Washington Commanders at that. So, I do expect the Seattle
3:18Seahawks to be playing from a lead in that one as well. If Jaden Price doesn't play, that is certainly a spot where we
3:24could see 20 plus carries from Emanuel Wilson once again. So, if you're looking for long-term, I would go Jonah Coleman.
3:30Just betting on a rookie who's looked encouraging so far this year. If you are looking for a spot start, I think it's
3:36Emanuel Wilson given the Jerian Price injury and a pretty frothy matchup specifically for running backs.
3:42>> Yeah, I'd agree. Jonah Coleman is crazy because like drafting him in the summer was like, "Oh, you need so many things
3:47to go right and and into his favor in order for him to be like any sort of relevant player for fantasy." And then
3:52we're like one or two weeks into the season and everything is kind of broken in his favor. Now, R.J. Harvey has the
3:58hamstring strain. doesn't seem overly serious, but for the most part, you know, players miss somewhere between like one to three weeks with a hamstring
4:04strain. Dobbins again came out said not serious. He's good. You know, this is a a hamstring tweak that for the most
4:11part, you know, going to miss probably a week, but Harvey might be back. So, it's hard to tell what the role is going to
4:15be. If Dobbins is out, I do think Coleman and uh RJ Harvey probably split the backfield pretty evenly. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler Beday is kind of
4:22in there and just like being a little bit annoying on p pass blocking reps and really eats into R.J. Harvey a little
4:27bit. But again, you if you step out and look at the bigger picture here, I think Denver again, right? They haven't been
4:32as pretty as we wanted them to be, but they're going to be a good offense overall. They're going to score a lot of
4:36points. They're going to have a very good offensive line, which makes you optimistic about Jonah Coleman, but I still think a lot of things have to
4:42break, right? And I saw your fab suggestion bid on on uh Jonah Coleman in like the 12 to 14 range for $100 fab
4:48suggestions, which I think is spot on cuz I think you listen to a lot of like waiverwire pods early in the year and it
4:54feels like every dude is like, "Oh yeah, put like 25 to 35% of your fab on this guy, 25 to 35% of your fab on this guy."
5:00And I get it for a guy like Jonah Coleman. I do think he's got more upside than most of the guys we've seen on the
5:04wire up to this point this year in the hypothetical world. But I I just don't think it's super sound advice to be
5:10chucking out, you know, 30 to 40% of your budget right now on a guy who still has a very very clear uphill battle to
5:16be fantasy relevant out of the gate with so much competition there. So Coleman would also be my one. The read on Saquon
5:22is that it's not overly serious, but you never know. Something can come back throughout the week like it could aggravate or flare up the stinger. So
5:28maybe he misses a game, but long term, you know, it's still Saquon there.
5:31Obviously tank and Will Shipley I think split carries. Emanuel Wilson's a little bit tough to I guess get a gauge on just
5:37for this upcoming week like Sharp is going to be back. Wilson's a nothing when everybody else is healthy in that backfield obviously. What what is your
5:43read on that injury right now? Because it seemed like they were pretty optimistic that it wasn't too serious and they were up. Do you think Jadarian
5:49Price misses week three?
5:50>> So I I don't have a clear read. I've seen kind of both sides of the coin where the the early like comments and
5:58quotes coming out of Seattle like they said it was nothing serious, but I've also seen some of the the Twitter docs,
6:05the the injury docs kind of saying that it is possible that this is something that keeps him out shortterm. So, I do
6:12want to put a semi-aggressive bid, nothing like crazy, handful of dollars in a 100 $100 FAB league on Emanuel Wilson only if I need a spot start. I if
6:23I am in a good spot at running back, I'm not going to be immediately slotting Emanuel Wilson in to my RB2 slot or my
6:30flex slot. I'm just completely avoiding both Emanuel Wilson and Tank Bsby. Well, Bigsby, I'll walk that back. I do think that he is one of the more priority
6:38handcuffs. think he should be stashed in leagues with 10 to 12 players, potentially even more managers. But for Emanuel Wilson, I I'm not touching him
6:46unless I need him as a spot starter. So, I I think he's worth throwing a couple of dollars at a couple of bucks just in
6:53case Jaren Price does miss time because I can see it playing both ways. Worst case scenario, you spend a couple of
7:01bucks, you you waste that and you just basically cut Emanuel Wilson right away because price is suiting up. So, I think
7:08that the Wednesday practice reports will be really telling if he's not practicing is Jarian Price. You're going to be feeling pretty good about spending a
7:16couple of dollars on Emanuel Wilson. So, I I don't really have a clear answer there. I'm kind of middling it. If I
7:22need running back production right away, I'm going to be making a bid, but I'm not going to be getting out of line with
7:27it.
7:28>> Yeah, it definitely a tough read on the injury. Emanuel Wilson had good games with the Packers last year when given
7:32the workhorse role. I mean, it's also, you know, shouldn't be shaken right off that he had over 20 carries in this game
7:38immediately. So, the coaching staff trusts him to be that like thumper. Uh Emtt Johnson's looked really good behind Kenneth Walker. Clearly, the handcuff
7:44Kenneth Walker is just like an absolute animal right now. So, him and Tank are kind of in the same, you know,
7:48stratosphere, I think, in terms of handcuff guys. At this point, it does feel like Emma Johnson would have a bigger role than Tank would just
7:54pound-for-pound if the guy in front of them were to get hurt. So, maybe you want to lean that way, but obviously
7:58Tank has a clearer path to getting on the field right now because of the injury. What is going on in New Orleans,
8:03man? Is it Is it just over for Travis ETN? Because he was a dude that I took at the four, five turn in my big league
8:09here, and I am like begging for 9, 11, 12 points out of him in a full PPR league. You know, Kendra Miller grabs
8:17the touchdown in week two. They make him a healthy scratch in week or uh sorry, in week one, they make him a healthy
8:22scratch in week two. Get Kamara on the field. And like I knew this was going to happen over the summer. That was like my
8:27gut feeling the whole time is, you know, Kamar's going to be on the team. they're going to play him an annoying amount of
8:32snaps. And with the injury, I was like, "Oh, Kamar is going to be out for like three weeks, a month or whatever." Not
8:38the case. Gets on there week two.
8:40Targeted carries, like not even outplaying ETN, but ETN's also not outplaying anyone else. So, it's like I I don't know really what to make of the
8:48situation. It pains me that I had to write up Alvin Chimera this week. I I added him to the the waiver writeups
8:55because you just can't ignore 15 touches. I think that Alvin Chimera is unbelievably cooked. Like he is just beyond the the downturn of his career.
9:05We are well past that stage. He is obviously washed at this point, but you can't ignore 15 touches. I will say that
9:11his six targets did come on nine routes.
9:14That is just so obviously unsustainable.
9:17That is not something that we're going to be seeing. And what I also added is what you kind of said is that Chimera's
9:22presence and what we saw out of him in week one, week two rather, it has a bigger impact and it's more meaningful
9:29for Achan's value than it is his own. It it's a total disaster. What I said is like Kell Moore just doesn't seem to
9:36care that the front office gave a Chan 28 million guaranteed dollars this offseason. He just doesn't care whatsoever. So, I I want to like leave
9:43the light on and like understand that these kind of weird usage things, they they can be not so sticky. They they can
9:51change, develop, shift course over the course of the season, but for the time being, yeah, it it literally looks like whoever it is, whoever they decide they
10:00want it to be, whether it be Kamara, whether it be Kendra Miller, whether it be CJ Donaldson who was getting pass
10:05catching work in week one, they just want someone to take work off of a Chan's plate. and that obviously just crushes his fantasy value. So, I think
10:15that you have to be pivoting on the long-term value of Travis Aan. Perhaps things change, but man, this is a disaster. And if you're in a bad way at
10:24the running back position, and Alvin Chimera is able to hold on to some sort of a receiving role in this backfield.
10:30He could be a break glass in case of emergency kind of flex play if he continues to see a handful of targets
10:36every week.
10:37>> Yeah, it's it's not great out there in New Orleans. another backfield with a not great situation going on. Green Bay
10:43Packers. So, you know, Marshon Lloyd, a lot of victory laps being run in the summer for people that drafted him. Not
10:49looking great right now. Did get into the end zone, dude. I took him at the 67 turn in in another league that I had. I
10:54was like, I needed an RB too bad. Went here. I had Gibbs at the one and I didn't take a a running back until much
10:59later. Took him. I was like, I I'll get like a month of good production out of him. Turns out that was a lie. He ends
11:05up getting into the end zone but then fumbles and Caleb Johnson actually out carries him and looks better than him.
11:11The Packers backfield situation is just like so messy and I don't know that we're going to have confidence to play any of these guys on a week- toeek basis
11:18until Jacobs gets back. We don't have the suspension news on Jacobs yet. Most reports are like pushing towards hey he probably gets a sixgame suspension which
11:26will count the games that he's already serving right now. So, I think there's a chance we see him in week seven and
11:32obviously once Jacob's back, it's going to be his backfield and pretty much full steam ahead. Honestly, this runout has almost been the best possible run out
11:40for a guy like Jacobs where nobody's performing up to any sort of standard where like you need to have them on the
11:45field. So, you're getting split carries between Caleb, you're getting split carries between Marshall, you're getting split carries between Christopher Brooks. Uh based on how the game ended
11:52and Caleb ending with the most carries, Marshon Lloyd fumbling the ball. Is there any world where like Caleb becomes relevant over the next like 3 weeks?
12:01>> I think there's a world I'm not interested. I I will make no claims on Caleb Johnson. I'm just kind of at the
12:07point where I'm done with the backfield.
12:10Much like you, I I was making bets on Marshon Lloyd. I was thrilled and got fired up when it was announced that he
12:16was going on the commissioner's exempt list was Josh Jacobs. I was happy to have him because I was taking a lot of
12:21them in the very late rounds of drafts.
12:23But man, this this has been an absolute nightmare. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I believe after the
12:28fumble, it was zero touches for Marshon Lloyd. And you can't even like cling to anything because he just hasn't looked good in the time where he's gotten
12:38opportunities. He's had some moments here and there, but in totality, it just hasn't been an overwhelm over overwhelmingly positive experience with
12:47Marshon Lloyd on your roster, with him on the field for the Green Bay Packers.
12:51They're just begging for Jacobs to be back. Man, this is just a total mess.
12:55Like you said, I really just don't want any part of this backfield at this point.
13:00>> O line is so bad, too.
13:02>> The O line, we knew coming into the year they were going to be like below average. probably didn't think it was
13:06going to be this bad, but now they lose Zack Tom for the year, which is their best tackle. They uh Aaron Brooks got
13:10banged up, too. I would be shocked if he ended up playing on Thursday night against the Falcons. So, like, it was
13:15already bad and it just got significantly worse. So, outside of some superhuman performance from Caleb Johnson, which we're probably not going
13:21to get here, it's going to be nearly impossible to start any of these guys going forward. Even when like Jacobs returns, I would I I might throw some
13:28low ball offers out for Jacobs right now if if the current owner like doesn't want to sit on him anymore just because
13:33of the trend of how bad the running backs have been and how much I project his work to be because of it when he
13:38comes back. But even last year, Jacob struggled a lot to get anything going on the ground. He's obviously like a touchdown machine and I think he can
13:44catch the ball when you know given targets, but with you know how much they struggled to open up lanes for him last
13:49year and now the injuries to the offensive line immediately now it's like yeah I don't know just just not a lot of
13:54optimism out there in uh in Green Bay for the for the running back group.
13:58>> I mean I I don't even know how interested I am in throwing low ball offers at Jacobs. You were spot on. It's
14:03it's the touchdowns that's all that carries Josh Jacobs fantasy value and the fact that he's been a bellcow. I think 2024 he had 40 goal to go carries
14:12in 2024. That's just ridiculous. And given the state of this offense, I mean, I I I really love Jordan Love. I really
14:18love the pass catchers. I like Laf Flur, but man, it is it is tough to get fired up about Jacobs being provided those
14:26scoring opportunities at the moment.
14:27>> Yeah. All right, let's move over to uh probably a little bit more of an exciting position this weekish. uh wide
14:33receivers. I believe if I'm not mistaken, your top guy along with many peoples out there is a rookie from the Cleveland Browns, Denzel Boston.
14:42Correct?
14:43>> Yeah. Yeah, Boston isn't someone that I've fallen in love with by any means, but I think that he has proven that he
14:52needs to be stashed on benches while just evaluating what happens because he has shown that he has legit playmaking ability, especially as just an explosive
15:01downfield playmaker. Week one, it's a 40-some yard bomb for a touchdown. Last week, it was a 55 yard touchdown where he shows real yak ability. He breaks a
15:12couple of tackles and then he sprints 30-ish yards to the house. So, the production has been there largely because of those explosive plays. The
15:21one hangup that I have, the the one concern is something that I kind of talked about with Caleb Douglas a couple
15:28of weeks back when we were going back and forth on him, I just in this sort of offensive environment, I really need to
15:35see players starting to consolidate volume to a really high degree. We all know that the 40 50 yard touchdowns, they aren't going to be coming with
15:44regularity. So to get by in the Browns offense, he needs to be like the clearcut number one target earner in this environment in this situation. We
15:54haven't gotten there just yet. He has a 21.2% target share and 0.20 targets per hour run. Both really solid marks, but
16:04in my opinion, across a full season, that won't be enough to give him the floor required to be comfortable starting him in your lineup week to
16:13week. Sure, you can get him in there as like a high ceiling, like just hoping that he has one of those big plays, one
16:19of those long touchdowns, but he's going to need to get more volume. he's going to need to take a bigger slice of the
16:24pie in the Browns offense in my opinion for him to be someone that we're considering on a week- toeek basis. So,
16:31I I I'm optimistic that that could change after he's seen Denzel Boston make quality plays. Maybe Todd Monkin decides that he's going to make him the
16:40first read, scheme more plays for Denzel Boston. Perhaps that happens. And the film has been good. He's like winning as a downfield receiver. He's winning with
16:48physicality. like the Denzel Boston that we saw in college, that's what's showing up in the NFL. But I I really need to
16:53see more volume. That that's really where I'm at right now.
16:56>> Yeah. I mean, he was obviously a highly touted draft pick. The buzz out of camp all summer was like phenomenal on him.
17:01And they were like, "Yeah, this guy's a real playmaker. He's going to play a lot in our offense." And he's been north of
17:05a 90%, you know, route guy, which is great to see. I mean, obviously just being on the Cleveland offense, your weekly floor is just so low because at
17:12any point Watson can throw for 140 yards, two picks, no touchdowns, and you're getting two points out of a dude like Boston. He is like the perfect if
17:20you if you draft a lot of Denzel Boston in baseball, it's like the purest run out ever right now. But in a reddraft
17:25league, you got to think about these things differently. And you know, he's going to be a fine by-week fill in, but
17:30on a downto- basis, it's going to be very difficult to trust putting him into your lineup. He's got some good matchups
17:34ahead. Carolina, Pittsburgh, the New York Jets, and things are really nice down the stretch, too. Like the schedule for the Cleveland Browns really never
17:40gets to a point where you're like shying away from the offense if they had a real quarterback. I don't know what they're
17:45going to do at quarterback right now.
17:46Watson was good enough to definitely keep the job for at least another week, but like he'll have one bad game, then
17:50everyone's like, "Shadore again." So, people are very reactionary with all these things. Regardless, like if it's Watson, I'm scared to have him at my
17:58wide receiver. If it's Shadore, he's likely going to, you know, pepper guys like Fannon and Casey Conpsion over the middle. So, yeah, I I get it why
18:05Boston's probably the number one guy on the waiverwire for a lot of people. I just have such a tough uh time buying
18:10into what the the floor of a guy like him could just be on a week toe basis. I think and and I might bite my tongue
18:17here, but I'm going to go for it. I I still think I'd rather have a guy like Adinai Mitchell. I still think I I
18:21probably wouldn't prefer Dantavian Wixs over Boston because I think the long-term prows of him might be a little bit higher or the ceiling of him might
18:27be a little bit higher. But those are guys that we continue to throw out on a week- toeek basis where Ad Mitchell runs
18:32all the routes. Gino Smith clearly likes him. Gino Smith has got time and he's able to throw the ball. They play
18:37Detroit this upcoming week, which is nice. Uh Dantavian Wix has been the clear two. Dallas is going to be out, so
18:42there goes more routes. Uh Mai Lemon is running a lot of routes there. So that is something to be uh that is something
18:49to be uh holding of. I I I don't really know what to make of the fourth quarter there with Philly cuz Wix only played on
18:56like 55% of the snaps while Lemon was in for like 95% of them. So I don't know if it was like a stinger or an injury that
19:02occurred or whatnot. But do you have um you know a sway one way or the other on AD Mitchell versus Wix? I know you and I
19:08have both been on AD Mitchell. Is there anything that's kind of like come to uh the forefront that makes you think
19:13differently about either of these situations?
19:15>> Not really. I kind of bucket them into the same group of wide receivers. I was writing up Wixs and I think that my my
19:23takeaway and what I wrote is like this is like the most straightforward situation ever. It's a guy who's running a full complement of routes. He's been
19:31relatively efficient on those routes. I believe his yards per run 2.72 so far this year. So, he's been relatively efficient when he's on the field. He's
19:40just not pushing uh Devontto Smith for targets, 0.19 targets per route run so far this season for Dantavian Wick. So, and the the other part there is that the
19:50Eagles are passing a lot more. We saw 42 drop backs out of Jaylen Herz last week.
19:56He only cracked 40 drop backs in three games last year. So, it's a offense that's passing more often than we thought. He's running a lot of routes.
20:04He's earning enough volume to be fantasy relevant and he's been efficient when he's on the field. It's nothing exciting, but it's enough to be okay
20:12getting him into your lineup if you're in a tough spot. We'll see if the situation if the role changes in the
20:18coming weeks. For now, it's just like a floor driven flex play for me. Maybe you hit on a big play, but for the most
20:25part, it's just all about the routes.
20:27That's what his value is being driven by. 80 Mitchell. It's more of the same, but I do think that there is more that
20:35can be done in the target earning department because you see the box score here, 12 targets last week, 30% target share for AD Mitchell. On the season, he
20:45is posting really quality numbers from a volume perspective. 23.1% target share, 0.26 targets per route run, and 2.16
20:55yards per route run. All really rock solid. You combine the volume stuff with the fact that we have also seen him be a
21:02highlevel downfield playmaker. Hauls in a 40 yard reception in week one against the Titans. So I think I think that there is more for AD Mitchell to do in
21:14terms of challenging the clear-cut number one for targets Garrett Wilson versus Devonte Smith. We've seen him be a highle target earner in the past,
21:23albeit with Garrett Wilson off the field. I don't know. I I maybe it's just my bias kind of leaking in here. I
21:29really like AD Mitchell. I've really cooled on Dantavian Wixs. Generally speaking, I would say that they're kind of in the same bucket of wide receivers,
21:36but I do lean a little bit towards Adonai Mitchell just given what we've seen from his ability to create explosive plays, create separation, earn
21:45targets at an incredibly high level.
21:47>> Yeah, I mean their career arc thus far so similar. It feels like they were both dudes who, you know, good separators
21:54coming out of college. Had a lot of people that, you know, were kind of attached to them because their separation numbers and, you know, fast,
22:00explosive, can make plays downfield, go to offenses where they're like the wide receiver, four, five, can can never really crack into the lineup and then
22:06all of a sudden move teams and they get all the opportunity they want. And it's like they're they're just a bit
22:11inconsistent as always. Those are the type of players they are. They're like high ceiling, low floor types of guys.
22:16Um, but I agree with you. I like Adam Mitchell more as a player. The Jets very clearly trust him. Both of them do have
22:21first round picks that will eventually make impacts in their respective offenses. So, it's it's a little weird.
22:27It's a little weird situation, but yeah, I definitely prefer Adai Mitchell. I don't think Wix is the worst pickup here, though. And we can move to some
22:34other like fake wide receivers that big weeks like Trey Tucker. You know, he'll have a big week every eight weeks, but
22:41as soon as Bowowers is back on the field, I have almost no confidence that we're going to see any sort of
22:45consistency here. We had uh Buffalo DJ Moore ended up, you know, dealing with the shoulder, a little stinger as well.
22:52He's kind of dayto-day right now.
22:54Normally that's a oneweek absence, but since they played on Thursday night, there's a chance that he does suit up in week three. If he doesn't, you know, you
23:01can tell me if you feel differently, but like I, you know, as well as Josh Allen is playing, this is still not a receiver
23:07core that I'm interested in rolling the dice on in week three right now, even in my flex. Like Keon Coleman looked fine.
23:12He's had a handful of games throughout his career. Uh Cle Shakir is already probably owned, so I'm not really even referring to him. You have Josh Palmer
23:19who's made some big plays early on, but like I just don't see a world where outside of like 14 16 team leagues, a
23:24dude like Keon Coleman or Josh Palmer's someone that I'm spending up on because DJ Moore is going to be back. It's DJ
23:29Moore, it's Dalton Concade, it's James Cook, and you know, they're they're not dudes that I'm prioritizing whatsoever.
23:34>> No, no, not really. I mean, I wrote up Keon Coleman. I think he could be the oneweek roster band-aid, but I'm not
23:41like prioritizing him on the waiverwire whatsoever. If I like desperately need a flex play, I'll I'll throw a bid on him
23:49maybe a dollar or two, but I'm not upset if I miss out on him because those can be found just about everywhere every
23:55single week. We saw guys like Rashad Baitman was kind of like the poster boy of that last week. He goes off. You can
24:01find those sorts of options who have some level of upside. I will say in the absence of DJ Moore, Keon Coleman ran
24:07something like 81% of the route. So it is a juggernaut offense and you're getting a guy who's going to be out
24:14there probably just about every single snap if DJ Moore is out of the lineup.
24:18So there's some level of intrigue in there just from a role perspective and just how good this offense is like creating scoring opportunities,
24:27sustaining drives, creating explosive plays, pushing the ball downfield.
24:30That's kind of where the intrigue is coming from. But I really don't want to make the move unless I just absolutely
24:37have to.
24:38>> Yeah. I mean, it feels like the same thing with Keon Coleman. Every year early on, they want to force the issue
24:42and be like, we use the draft capital, we have to get this guy going. They try to get the guy going, has maybe a good
24:48game or two, and then starts to fade away because he just kind of becomes the player that I think he is at the NFL
24:54level. There's a couple other injuries.
24:55You know, you noted Rashad Baitman. Zay Flowers is dealing with a hamstring strain where, you know, he did return to a limited practice this week. I or last
25:02week. I don't think that guarantees him suiting up in week three. If he doesn't, you know, Rashad Baitman, I think is a
25:07pretty good flex play given what we just saw out of him. Plus, they get to play against Dallas. So, if you rostered him,
25:12pick him up or keep him obviously, and I think you can flex him in this upcoming week. If he's available on your waiver
25:17wire, I don't think I think there are worse options because again, you know, hamstring strains are notoriously like lingering types of issues. Even when the
25:24pain subsides, like there's still underlying kind of tissue damage there that teams tend to lean on the side of safety there. So, I think Baitman's
25:31good. A couple other injuries that I do want to bring up though, Alec Pierce as well as uh Caleb Douglas. So Caleb
25:37Douglas got off to, you know, a hot summer, hot start, high ankle sprain, he's going to be out for the foreseeable
25:41future, which opens up targets for Malik Washington probably. He's become this like floor play. I actually really don't hate him because of just how poor the
25:51depth is there at Miami. Uh Chris Bell, I would like to be more optimistic about him, but we didn't even see like a snap
25:56increase or a route increase from week one to week two despite the Caleb Douglas injury. So, he's still someone I would sash. I'd like to see what he can
26:02do with Caleb Douglas out, but I wouldn't have very high hopes with him on my bench at this very moment. And
26:07then you have Alec Pierce reagravated like the heel area on um Sunday Night Football. And this was something he was dealing with obviously throughout the
26:15summer as he recovered from his surgery and it was like a very lengthy, you know, recovery and then it seems like
26:21not great. He couldn't put any pressure on it like just didn't look good coming off of the field. Opens up a lot of
26:26targets for Josh DS. There was word that Keenan Allen should be expecting a three-game suspension. When that's going to come, I don't know. I'll tell you
26:33who, you know, I actually don't hate as a pickup this week. Laquan Treadwell. I >> Oh, God.
26:38>> No, I know. I know. I know. But we've seen weirder things happen in fantasy, man. And I do think he will, if Keenan's
26:43out, he's like the only dude that can play outside. Like I love Josh DS, he'll earn a ton of targets over the middle
26:49and will probably be the leading target guy there with Tyler Warren. I will put Laquan Treadwell into the like Dantavian Wixs conversation like archetype tier. I
26:58think that's you'll get similarish type performances out of him. So tell me why I'm right.
27:03>> I'm I'm just groaning cuz like how have we reached that point in the season that we have to talk about Laquan Treadwell
27:09in a in a week 2 waiver show? I mean like it it's a fine shout. I personally I'm operating under the assumption that
27:17Tyler Warren and Josh DS are going to see something like 60 to 70% of the targets every week. You throw in JT as
27:24well. 60 to 70% might be a little little too optimistic, but still like JT's been earning targets since Shane Stiken brought in Daniel Jones. Josh DS believe
27:36is a highle target earner. Tyler Warren, Keenan Allen's a proven target earner. I just don't know how much is left on the
27:42pie for in the pie for Laquan Treadwell.
27:45It's a reasonable shout because where where are they going to go? We'll see how things shake out with Keenan Allen once we see when that suspension is due
27:53to come. What I've read is that it will be likely handed down once the legal process plays out. The Jacob situation,
28:01we saw the league step in. Typically, that's how they operate is they wait for the legal process to play out. The
28:06league stepped in in the Jacob situation. This is obviously not something like that. It's a DUI. They're not going to step in, put him on the
28:12exempt list for that. So, we'll see if that suspension comes anytime soon. I think that's when I would start to consider Laquan Treadwell cuz it opens
28:22up both the path to routes and targets.
28:24But one name that you did throw out there that I was kind of taken aback, not necessarily like for the wrong
28:30reasons, just like surprised when I dug into was Malik Washington. Malik Washington. He is seeing a vastly different role this year than what we've
28:40grown accustomed to through his two NFL seasons to this point. Over the last two years, he's been kind of known as like
28:47the PPR scammer, the screen merchant.
28:49This guy who's getting some design looks, just catching screens, drags, what have you. He that's led to him having a sub6yard AOT in each of the
28:57last two years. Very different this year through two games. 11.77 yard a DOT.
29:02He's also seen four deep targets through two games. Last two years combined, just seven deep targets. So, you couple that downfield usage with the fact that Caleb
29:13Douglas is likely going to miss some time. You brought up Chris Bell hasn't been off been brought up to full speed
29:19just yet. So, you have a clear path to him really dominating the targets in Miami. And again, what we talked about
29:27in reference to Caleb Douglas is that is kind of a necessity to have any sort of fantasy value in this sort of offense.
29:34Am I fired up about Malik Washington?
29:37Absolutely not. Was I pretty encouraged to see that we could have some sort of a blend of downfield usage and real
29:44volume? I think that that is interesting to to say the least. I once again I kind of labeled him as one of those band-aid
29:51break glass in case of emergency kind of flex plays. Yeah, agreed. I I I think like usage is relatively encouraging.
29:58Obviously, just the injury and the lack of depth there in Miami. I mean, he was already running 100% of the routes in in
30:03week one. They got blown out in week two. They do have some tough match up KC Minnesota. So, I don't know how, you
30:08know, excited I am to get him to my my lineup right away, but I you know, you're getting a dude who bad offense.
30:14It's like a little reminiscent of Well Robinson last year where his role did expand. He's getting a lot of targets.
30:19They are taking more shots downfield and he won't produce like Wandell last year.
30:22But at this point in the season, I would probably prefer Malik Washington to Wall or at least they're in the same tier for
30:28where they're currently both at right now, which is a long fall from Grace. Is there anyone else on the waiverwire list
30:35that you want to touch on before we move out?
30:38>> Uh yeah, let's let's move on to tight ends. There's a couple exciting ones.
30:42>> Yeah, at the top of the list, very exciting.
30:45>> No, no, I can't do the Zachary stuff.
30:48I'm not doing the Darren Waller stuff either. Like I I get like if you want to just play the lottery, like buy a
30:54scratchoff ticket and see if you win. He he's just not running enough routes. I believe what he has two touchdowns on
31:01the year out of his five receptions. One he had another one that was called back due to a penalty. Like I I get it. Like
31:08the the thesis is you're just rolling the dice and hoping he scores a touchdown. But I don't like to make that
31:14sort of bet unless I am just in a disastrous situation. The two that I find to be particularly intriguing, Terren Ferguson, of course. Oh yeah, you
31:22knew where I was going with this one.
31:24Terren Ferguson of course it was the most obvious like Terg spot ever last night on Monday Night Football.
31:30Pukanakua is out. They don't have very much wide receiver depth whatsoever.
31:34It's going to be Devonte Adams and the tight ends. Terren Ferguson the most talented pass catcher of the bunch. He goes on to blow up 30% target share,
31:4217.4 PPR points. I hope you kept him on your roster after a total dud in week one. I'm not like willing to say that
31:51he's a must-start tight end moving forward, but it's definitely a spot where I want to see what his role looks like both from a routes and targets
31:59perspective upon Puka's return because you kind of got it all. We saw his ail ability to command volume. There was some playmaking flashes of playmaking
32:08ability there as well. He has a bunch of yak on one of the receptions if I'm remembering correctly. But from just a
32:15baseline scoring perspective, that's a that's a differencemaking score at tight end. Again, it obviously comes in a game where Pukunaku is out, but I really do
32:23think that there's something there. And then Arande Gaden, just a nutrition thing. Both of the starting tight ends, they're on IR. Charlie Kolar with a
32:31forearm, David Injoku with a fibula. If I'm not mistaken, some of the doctors who evaluate these injuries, they're saying it's going to be pretty long-term
32:39injury for David and Jooku could be out for a very extended stretch of the season. So, what are the Chargers going
32:46to do? I I would not be surprised if they make a veteran signing, but he has had the runway cleared for him to run
32:52just a ton of routes. And I get the concern about the Chargers offense and how Aronda Gadden fits in. But, man, we
33:00saw a real pop out of this guy. He averages 8.8 eight PPR points per game as a fifth round rookie. He has some
33:06spike weeks there in the middle stretch of the season where some people were talking about this guy as like a rest of
33:11season top eight tight end where you were going to be starting him every single week. That's not how it pans out.
33:16But for a fifth round rookie flashing that sort of like high-end upside really encouraging and now there's just such limited competition. If you're in a bad
33:24way at tight end, Ferguson and Gadston are the two ones that I am keeping an eye on. I'll throw Daltton Schultz out
33:31there. He should have been picked up already. He dominates in week two. Leads the tight end position in scoring, targets, receiving yards, receptions.
33:39Obviously, an outlier game, but if he's out there and you're in in need of a tight end, he should be the number one
33:44pickup.
33:44>> Yeah, I think Nico's more likely to miss week three than he isn't, which would mean, you know, Don Schultz will be a
33:50good shout there. I mean, Zack Herz's phone must have been ringing off the hook yesterday with all the tight end injuries. Yeah, I mean I had
33:56to drop Ferguson because I had Darnold.
33:58I had to pick up Drew Lock and I had Nico and I had Jordan Mason and it killed me to do it and I knew like it's
34:04just such a strong rule to live by is just like don't drop the guys that you draft after week one. It's such a
34:09reactionary drop unless you're forced to, which I did. And you know, this is kind of what we talked about. This is
34:14what a lot of people talked about.
34:14Terrence Ferguson kind of becomes what Gassiki is in Cincinnati where if one of the top guys is out, he becomes the next
34:20dude up and catches a lot of passes. And we saw with Puka. I don't really have a good read on the Puka situation. I know
34:25they made it out to be like this real game time decision, but he was a DMP on Friday. He was a DM DMP on Saturday. It
34:31seemed like they already knew that he was not going to play come Monday night.
34:34Like all the reports had kind of pushed that way. So, I don't know that I'm overly confident Puka plays in week
34:40three either. I think there's definitely a chance he does, but if he doesn't, you know, Terrence Ferguson would be a decent start. They do have some really,
34:46really tough match ups ahead though at Denver, at Philadelphia, and Puka will, you know, definitely be back, I think, by the end of that stretch at worst.
34:52Gatson is very interesting to me though because of like you said a war of attrition at this point and Jooku Kolar
34:58both on the IR there's just no one really to force him off the field. I don't know what their game plan's going
35:03to be. Obviously they've gotten nothing going on offense. It you know it's looking like McDaniel's fake sharp at this point but they have to throw
35:09targets somewhere like Lad's banged up.
35:12QJ I don't know if he's like caught more than two passes on the season and Gatson was really good for a decent stretch of
35:18the season last year. though I I like the pickup. Another dude who's got just a nightmare of a schedule though at
35:23Buffalo, at Seattle, Denver, at Kansas City, by Rams, Houston, Baltimore. Like, everyone's heard it at this point. It is an absolute death row stretch there. But
35:31I I just don't see a world where Gatson's not running 70 to 80% of the routes right now with the injuries to
35:37the position. Um, so I I think Gatson in a perfect world would probably be my one over Ferguson just due to the injuries
35:46that are present on his depth chart right now. Would you how would you rank those two?
35:49>> I it'll probably end up shaking out that they are within a dollar if not the same fab recommendation for me. It's probably
35:57going to end up being Ferguson just given the quality of the offense. Like we have basically no question. I know that week one wasn't great, but you can
36:05pretty much explain that away pretty easily for the Rams struggles in that one. Pretty much no question about this team being just a powerhouse on offense.
36:16Matt Stafford, Pukanakuya, you get the story. So, I think that's kind of like the tiebreaker for me. But generally speaking, if I need a tight end, I would
36:24be happy to grab either of those.
36:26>> Yeah. One other quick shout I want to give is Kenyan Sadique. He had a bad week, too, and didn't play much, but I
36:32believe uh Mason Taylor came down with an injury. I I don't actually know the significance of it. I can't remember. Do
36:38Do you Do you have that information up?
36:40We could always look >> I do remember him uh going out, though.
36:45>> All right. All right, so keep an eye on uh Mason Taylor's thumb injury. If it happens to be severe, a very good chance
36:50you're going to end up on the IR and that would obviously open up more routes for Kenyan Sadi. More of just like a
36:55high-end stash if you, you know, you need a tight end to on the roster or anything like that. Uh let's circle back
37:00to the quarterbacks cuz we did have a bunch of injuries this week and you know, I do want to touch and show some
37:04love on the uh superflex leagues here.
37:07We have a couple injuries that I think are still like very much shaking out. We don't know the severity of them. We have
37:12Caleb Williams with the hamstring, the grade one hamstring hurt around the world. We don't even know, you know, his timetable whether it's a week, if it's 3
37:19weeks, but it looks like it's just a pretty standard like hamstring strain, which will keep a player out for, you know, one to two to three to four weeks.
37:27I think the fact that he is likely going to avoid short-term IR from from what I'm sensing, you know, that could
37:33obviously age very poorly as as every fantasy video that we do tends to do when it comes to injuries. But I think
37:39that's a win for Chicago Bears if uh if he does not get placed on the IR. Likely going to miss time regardless though. Uh
37:46and Tyson Begent will fill in. Now that you know, you're playing against Philadelphia this week. You do get the Jets in week four and Green Bay in
37:52Atlanta after that. But the uncertainty of Caleb Williams' timeline makes me pretty queasy to drop any dollars on him in superflex leagues. You have Marcus
38:01Mariota filling in for Jaden Daniels for the time being. Daniels is another one where I felt like there was a lot of,
38:06you know, Twitter doc conversation about, oh, he's probably going to have surgery. Oh, he's going to be out for a long time. If you listen to the Twitter
38:13docs that are, you know, like former NFL Twitter docs and ones that are like really, you know, they have their hands
38:18on the the actual players themselves, most of them were way more optimistic about it where they're like, I don't think Jaden's going to have surgery.
38:24He's probably going to try to push through this and you can play with a brace on your arm sooner rather than
38:29later. And I I don't know that Jaden just wants to throw another season away with the elbow dislocation. Obviously, you know, I'm just saying things without
38:36context of knowing what Jaden Daniels is thinking or going through right now. But if I had to lean 5149, I do think
38:42Jaden's probably going to be back sooner rather than later, which also makes me a little bit hesitant on Marcus Mariota who gets Seattle in this upcoming week.
38:49So, it's going to be very difficult to start him and then who knows when when uh Jaden's going to return to the lineup
38:55there. So, do you have any other, you know, do you have more insight or or a different read on either of those
38:59situations? I will say the the one thing that has me clinging to hope on the Jaden Daniel situation is that Adam
39:06Shfter had a quote. I think it was like on the Pat Mcavee show or something, but I I saw it on Twitter. He's saying that
39:12at least as of yesterday, Jaden doesn't want to have the surgery is is what he was hearing. So that's pretty optimistic. I mean, obviously if the
39:21doctors are like pounding the table like you need to have this, like there's just no way around it, that that could
39:25change. They're saying that they're going to be gathering information here in the coming days. Who knows? Maybe by the time this is out, we've got
39:32information. But that's great. Honestly, that that's just optimistic for if you're a Jaden Daniels owner. And then it dampers expectations for Marcus
39:39Mariota if you're in a superflex league.
39:41Be a Mariota, man. I I I wouldn't really even be looking to put in a claim if you're unless you're just in a real real
39:49bad way in a super flex league.
39:51obviously a single QB league unless you're playing in like an 18 20man league like maybe maybe there's there's a world where that works but yeah no no
39:59consideration and pretty dampered expectations in super flex leagues for those two Jameus Winston we know what the story is Jackson Dart MCL sprain
40:08probably going to miss at a minimum a couple of weeks maybe a month or so we'll just have to wait and see on that
40:14you know what you're getting again it's a total just like lotto scratchoff type of deal we know that the ceiling is
40:20pretty high because he's just willing to sling the rock, put the push the ball downfield, put it in harm's way sometimes far too often. It was a
40:27disastrous performance out of Winston in week one. He throws a pick, takes two sacks. It was like 4.1 yards per attempt. I will say that he was under
40:36siege all night long. I believe the final pressure rate was 58%.
40:41That is a very talented Rams defensive line. So, if you want to roll the dice, I think that there's more upside out of
40:46Jameus Winston, assuming Malik Neighbors is good to go and they have a full complement of pass catchers and weapons.
40:52I think the upside is higher for Jameus Winston week to week. Obviously, a huge gamble. So, he's probably the one that I
41:00will have my eye on in superflex leagues because if you're in a bad enough spot that you're looking to add one of these
41:07guys, you probably need to be taking on risk, looking for that upside that Jameus Winston has to offer.
41:13>> Yeah, I I think I'm aligned there. I would go Jameus has one like I'm not I'm not going to look at last night's
41:18performance as him kind of taking over in an emotional game versus a very tough defense to be like this is what he is
41:23now. He did look as bad as we've seen him over the last couple years. No doubt about it. But like if he's getting all
41:28the starter reps throughout the week and Malik Neighbors is playing, which you know is iffy. Uh he'll probably be a little bit limited if he does end up
41:35suiting up. But like I like Jamus a little bit more than Mariota. Mariota would be a close second and Tyson Beijing would be a very very faroff uh
41:42third at this point in my eyes. Are there any like one quarterback streamers on this list that peique your interest here? Kyler Murray will be back for the
41:49Vikings this week against a pretty shitty Tampa Bay defense. So if he's unowned, I think he's a fine stream.
41:54Bryce Young's playing out of his mind right now. Uh the matchups have been really really easy thus far. And then Tyler Shuck I just think is probably a
42:01very good fantasy quarterback. He's owned in 48% of the league, so not probably available in most sharp leagues. And the last one I will kind of
42:08bring up here would be Drew Lockach, who, you know, they're not going to throw the ball a ton. They're playing Washington, who likely will be without
42:15Jaden Daniels. So you're not going to get a very high uh, you know, pass attempt number. That being said, I think
42:22every pass attempt he throws is going to be a lot more valuable than other other quarterbacks because every pass attempt he throws goes to Jackson Smith and
42:28Jigba and that man makes plays out of nothing. So, I don't hate Drew Lockach uh as a you know a deeper superflex ad
42:35if he's still available for you there or if you're really really desperate at quarterback in a you know like a [ __ ]
42:4020man league and you're looking for a streamer or something like that. Yeah, I I think at this point Shuck and Young
42:46have done enough to be in like the matchup based QB1 conversation. Most weeks they're probably going to be flirting right around that like top 12
42:54QB thresholds. We'll see. Maybe they push past that. But the the results have been encouraging. The one thing on Shuck is that so much of it has come in
43:02catch-up mode. They have had just horrific first halves both games. Zero points scored in either first half for the Saints. Chuck has scored literally
43:11nine fantasy points out of what his 40some that he has on season nine have come in first half and he just turns it
43:17on turns into a superhero in the second half and then we also get an overtime period in week one. So I I think that I
43:25would like to see more consistency like to see them show up in the first half but at a minimum it's great to to see
43:32that they can be a high octane offense for stretches of games. So, I that that is the one cause for concern, but I do
43:39think that at this point, like every single week, he's going to be somewhere in the top 15 to 16 quarterbacks. And if
43:45the matchups rock solid, he'll be a QB1.
43:48And I think it's the same story for Bryce Young. We don't really need to get too in-depth on those guys. Like you
43:53said, their own in most single quarterback leagues, in every single Superflex league. Drew Lock, like you broke it down, he needs to be efficient
44:00in this offensive environment. And when you have Jackson Smith and Jigba, it's pretty damn easy to be relatively efficient. So, I'll leave it at that.
44:08It's It's the JSN show against the Commanders, I think it will once again be the JSN show even though it is going
44:16to be a pretty low volume passing game for the Seahawks.
44:19>> Yeah, with Chuck, like I think it's kind of what everybody was talking about throughout the season. It's like fourth quarter, they're going to run a lot of
44:25plays. The schedule is wonderful and it's kind of just playing out that way.
44:28And I remember I tweeted something out in like July or August about Shuck's fourth quarter production last year. He led the NFL in fourth quarter passing
44:35yards by a significant margin and he only started half the year. It was like him and then Jared Goff and he had like
44:41400 more passing yards despite playing like 10 fewer games or eight fewer games or something like that and it's kind of
44:46coming back to fruition. But it's the Raiders, it's the Falcons, they got the Giants coming up later like Carolina, Chicago, Cincy, you know, it's an
44:53all-time schedule for the Saints. And you know, we didn't even mention like Jordan Tyson, you know, he'll be back sooner rather than later. Like it's only
45:00a matter of time in a couple weeks and then they have, you know, a million good weapons, none of them Travis CTN,
45:04unfortunately, but um I like Tyler Shuck. We like him going forward. Uh and we like all these players on the waiverwire that we talked about this
45:11week. Are there any other names that we might have missed on that you want to just get out on paper so that we can
45:16victory lap next week?
45:18>> A vele perfectly chromulent flex option if you if you need a start.
45:22>> I don't think I've ever heard that word in my entire life. What's that mean?
45:25>> Just serviceable. It's not I if I'm not mistaken, it's a madeup word from the Simpsons.
45:30>> Okay, wonderful. Yeah. No, I uh I'm going to start using that one a little bit more. When I start hitting promulant
45:36left and right, people are going to know why. Uh CA Kaylin Black Roll Scales Back in week two to no one's surprise. We
45:43talked about that last week. Roll scales back remains a priority handcuff. You brought up EMTT Johnson. Got to bring him up myself every single week. So
45:52there there are handcuffed running backs that remain just owned in too few leagues like guys like Kaylin Black, guys like EMTT Johnson, Tank Bsbies of
46:00the Worlds. They should be owned in virtually every 10 to 12 team league with a relatively deep bench. They are not for some reason. And so if they're
46:08out there, go pick them up. But other than that, uh that's just about everyone that I got to this week.
46:14>> All right. And now the only thing left to do is go right up Zack Z, put them into those waiverwire rankings, and
