0:00Good morning, friends and enemies, and welcome into the fantasy football week 2 wide receiver preview show. I'm going to give you as much information as I
0:08possibly can for all the wide receivers that are fantasy relevant for the week.
0:12Show you my rankings, tell you all about the game information you need to know about overunders, totals, Vegas props, matchup, defensive stuff. All right,
0:19everything that fits into this huge brain is going to be siphoned into your brain today. We're going to do it in a
0:24little bit of a different style than we've done over the last, you know, calendar year, but yesterday for the running back rankings video as well, if
0:31you want to go see that, we'll link it below as well as week one. So, you guys just let me know. You know, we're just
0:35we're just messing around a little bit, experimenting. Uh, let me know if you like the style or the format of how this
0:40video is compared to the previous style.
0:44It's going to be less game by game and more actual ranking and tier by tier.
0:49All right, I'm done yapping. Let's get into it. Trust me, I am far less comfortable with this camera shot than you are, but we're going to not talk
0:57about it for the rest of the video. And this is how the setup is going to be because there's a lot of information on
1:01the screen and this is the only side of the video that I could fit myself in.
1:05So, to explain this for you, these are my rankings for the week. All right, so you see it the tier. This is the
1:10mustart. Feels good. It's the same tiers as you guys are used to in the actual videos. You have the player obviously
1:14and their actual rank, which was something that we had left out of previous videos. Now, game information, matchup information, Vegas props. There
1:22are three sections that are helping define these rankings. The game information is simply, you know, Buffalo versus Detroit. The spread, the Lions
1:30are getting five and a half points. So, they're underdogs. The team total, meaning Vegas projects Detroit to score 24 and a half points. Not necessarily
1:37projects them to score that, but that's the team total in books right now. The over under the game, very healthy, 54
1:42and a half. And then obviously we have the little weather icon here. There's good weather in Buffalo. You could see a
1:47yellow here, meaning, you know, this is something that we might have to be concerned about. If you look at Chicago versus Minnesota, caution at kickoff,
1:52rough by 2 p.m., moderate rain from 2 p.m., wind up to 15 mph. So, this is something, you know, to take note of.
1:59Then you have the matchup information, meaning Detroit is playing against Buffalo. Buffalo allows the eighth most fantasy points to wide receivers.
2:05Obviously, insanely small sample size from week one. Houston had a pretty good game against Buffalo's defense. So, obviously, these ones need to be just
2:12taken with a little bit of common sense sprinkled in. and then the players individual player props. I decided to do it this way because I think having the
2:19numbers here might be more helpful to you to the actual rankings. These will obviously update a million times between now and when Sunday kicks off and then
2:26hopefully it's a little bit more easily displayed. I know there are a lot of numbers and stuff on the screen, but I
2:30tried to make it intuitive to the point where like you see green good, you see red bad, you see yellow orange like ah
2:37figure it out, click in and you'll get more information from it. Let's start with the must start tier. We've got Aman
2:42Ra at Buffalo, Puka at two, Justin Jefferson at three, Jamar Chase, JSN, Chris Ave, CD Lamb, George Pickkins, and Z Flowers. Obviously to be noted, there
2:51are a bunch of guys with injury concerns this week at the wide receiver position.
2:54Zay Flowers down at number nine is the first one. He did not practice on Wednesday. And on the website, obviously, these rankings are available
3:01to anyone who is a fantasy member on bdgeg.co. If you click into Z Flowers, you can run down here to the practice
3:08report and you could see Baltimore Z Flowers right here. Hamstring did not practice on Wednesday. So, obviously one to keep an eye on. I would say with the
3:17hamstring, uh, if you have Z Flowers, definitely be prepared to have a backup plan in place. So, of course, you know,
3:24as we get worse news, he will continue to move down the rankings. Amra and Buffalo, this should be an absolute skyrocket fest here. I will also note
3:33something I talked about in the running back video yesterday. You had a couple Detroit Lions offensive linemen missing practice a bit. It does look like both
3:40of them are going to be out for this one. So Christian Mahogany and Blake Miller, two of their starting offensive linemen didn't practice at all and will
3:47not be suiting up for Thursday Night Football. So a ding to the offensive line. That being said, like doesn't really affect your status of starting.
3:52I'm on RA of course. Puka Justin Jefferson against Chicago is a movie.
3:56Jamar Chase gets a tough matchup, but you know I I am never going to fade Mr.
4:01Jamar Chase, especially coming off of a bad game. JS and I have at five. You know, if he had Sam Darnold, he'd
4:05probably be up in the one, two, or three area. But we do have Drew Lock. They did, you know, have a good little
4:11connection last game, but their team total is going to be 22 and a half. I'd imagine they're going to get really,
4:16really spicy into the run game here and just lean on their defense. Uh, one other thing I want to bring up yesterday
4:21in the running back video, I saw a lot of comments saying like Arizona and Seattle was not covered. And then it
4:26spooked me and I was like, "Oh man, how did I just like flip through that game and not cover it?" We did. We just
4:31didn't put it in the timestamp. So, if you are looking for a specific matchup and it's not in the time stamp,
4:36obviously I want you to watch as much of the video as possible, but we put the timestamps in the description for you so
4:42that you know you can jump to specific players that you have. So, Jackson, get on your [ __ ] Make sure the timestamps
4:48are correct, please. But secondly, when I'm doing this, obviously, you can just kind of skim through the video and see what games we're in the middle of if you
4:54feel like I missed the time stamp on it.
4:56But we did cover the running backs. went back and looked in that game, just didn't have the time stamp for it. A
5:01coming off the absolute banger there. I do think Baltimore is probably going to really, really, really zone in on him defensively. Uh, so we could see a
5:09little bit of a down game. Their team total at 19 feels crazy. They are 8 1/2 point underdogs in this one. A 46 and
5:161/2 point total. Really, really fishy there. So Vegas is not expecting a big game out of the New Orleans Saints offense, which I suppose I understand. I
5:23I'd imagine like it it's going to be interesting because if Zay Flowers is out, you know, Derrick Henry is probably going to get 30 carries, which means
5:30they're probably going to be a relatively slow paced offense. And if the Baltimore Ravens end up, you know, dominating game script here and time of
5:38possession could see the Saints like the whole thesis behind their fantasy day is like lots of plays, lots of passing, high high fast-paced things. Without Zay
5:46Flowers, that game script can get a little wonky and just like time of possession could be really really in favor of Baltimore. So, I guess I can
5:53understand the angle that is maybe being taken here. CD Lamb, George Pickkins, great match up versus Washington. Get them in your lineups, of course. And we
6:00move to the next tier, which is full of 13 dudes, maybe 14. I can't really count very well. That always tricks me out.
6:06Like 10 to 23. Is that 14 or 13? Should be 13. Let's actually do this math together. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13
6:1614. Okay, it's 14. Yeah, that something about that feels like a betrayal. I got DJ Moore at 10. Christian Watson at 11,
6:22JMO at 12, Mike Evans at 13, Parker Washington at 14, Garrett Wilson at 15, Nico at 16, Dvonte Smith at 17, Malik
6:29Neighbors at 18, Lad Mani at 19, Amecha Ibuka at 20, T. Higgins at 21, Rashi Rice at 22, and Luther Burton at 23. So,
6:38we won't cover everyone, I don't think.
6:39Also, no idea why DJ Moore does not have props there. Maybe because he was dealing with the ankle injury a little
6:43bit. Let's see if there are any updated practice reports on him. He is not even on the practice report at all, so he
6:49should be good to go there. should have props up. Not sure what's going on there, but maybe they were waiting for
6:53more of an injury status just to lock him in regardless. Uh, loved what I saw DJ. Moore in week one. They have a
6:5830-point team total. Get him in your lineup. Christian Watson at 11. Might be a little bit fast and furious there as a
7:04wide receiver one. Obviously loved what we saw in week one. Matthew Golden did lead the team in targets, but the Jets
7:10will be without Minka Fitzpatrick.
7:11Jordan Love will have a little bit more time, which I actually don't know if that works in Christian Watson's favor.
7:16Because last week when Jordan Love was getting blitzed like 400 times over and over and over and over again. A lot of
7:21what he did was just like, yo, let me just chuck it up to Christian Watson.
7:24Let me just chuck it up to the receivers, which like you don't want to depend on. Obviously, it's not sustainable, but it did work in a
7:29oneweek sample size for Christian Watson. We do have a little bit of a weather concern here. So, let's check out the game day weather on this one. We
7:36have light rain, 3:00 p.m. onwards. 74% chance of rain from 400 p.m. Wind up to 12 mph. Okay, so it seems a little bit
7:44less harsh early on. Gets a little bit worse as the game progresses. So, uh, not, you know, not something I'm moving
7:50the rankings on. Jameson Williams at 12 might feel a little bit of aggressive after last week's game, but for JO, I
7:56mean, the opportunities were there last week. This is a game that you want as many pieces in. Obviously, a 54 and a
8:01half point total in Buffalo. JMO had a 44% first read target share last week.
8:07that was fifth in the NFL among all receivers. So, the opportunities are there. The offense is incredibly concentrated. Get J back into your
8:15lineup. Mike Evans loved what I saw from week one. I think he's only going to get better and better and better as the
8:20season progresses for San Francisco. No Deson's dribbling. He's out for quite a while. So, the offensive tendencies and the offensive targets are going to
8:27continue to condense themselves to guys like Mike Evans and whoever else is running routes out there. Park of Washington at 14 definitely feels a
8:34little bit aggress aggressive considering the fact that they are playing against Denver and they're in Denver and I get it. I just don't know
8:41how you could watch Park of Washington or Jacksonville and sit him. There's just there's no world where like you you could certainly acknowledge like yes
8:48very tough matchup. There's definitely a chance that this offense kind of like you know busts and just does not perform well and Trevor Lawrence kind of just
8:56like you know folds under the pressure of playing in Denver. But there's just no world where Parker Washington is not getting into my lineup this week. This
9:02is just a a vibe start and like the vibes have never been higher for a wide receiver than they are for Mr. Parker
9:08Washington right now. Garrett Wilson versus Green Bay. This is a good setup.
9:12I think like last week he had a good floor game five for 72ish and that was against the Tennessee Titans where they
9:18dominated game script gave the running backs a lot of carries. So I think against the Packers this could be one where Gino gets a little bit more time
9:24and and has more pass attempts and Garrett Wilson does have a bigger day here. They have him at five and a half
9:29receptions, 61 and a half receiving yards. So Garrett Wilson should definitely be in your lineup. Nico's down here strictly because of the
9:35hamstring that popped up last night.
9:36Shout out to [ __ ] hamstring injuries, man. Bad day for my your Idiot League team. We had uh Darnold for sure. Super
9:43flex league. Darnold out for four weeks.

9:53do this [ __ ] Don't know why I continuously play fantasy football.
9:57Would have been, you know, a great matchup on paper for Nico Collins. don't know that I have a read on his injury
10:02situation right now. They said it's not overly serious. They ran some tests or whatever, but anytime you're getting test run on a hamstring, you know, it
10:09happens midweek in practice. Here's what I'll say. Like I am I you need to have a backup prepared for Nico Collins, which
10:16is, you know, brutal. I go from having my quarterback against Arizona, a running back against Chicago, my wide receiver against the Cincinnati Bengals,
10:23like beautiful matchups, and then you get [ __ ] none of them, man. Week one seems like it was eight months ago at
10:29this point. Um, so Nico will obviously move up or down my rankings depending on what the injury status is for him. We'll
10:35have to keep a close eye on his uh practice report on Thursday. Friday, again, hard to be optimistic about a midweek hamstring strain. Dvonte Smith,
10:43he's going back in my lineup against Tennessee. So, yeah, not going to overthink that one. Malik Neighbors, I think he will continue to see more and
10:50more and more snaps. Getting more comfortable with his knee. He had an insanely high target per route run rate in his first game back, but did not run
10:58a full complement of snaps. I think as the weeks progress, I'm not expecting a huge jump up from last week up to this
11:03week. I think he was around like 55% of the routes last week and I'm not expecting him to be a full-time player
11:08really within the first few weeks, but I do think anytime he's on the field, you know, they're going to look his way.
11:13They are going to be underdogs in this one against the LA Rams. They are seven-point underdogs, a 47 12 point total. They are playing in a dome. They
11:20do travel cross country. This is a Monday night game, so you know, the extra rest for Malik's knee, but it was
11:26just really good to see him be comfortable out on the field and uh get active right away. So, you know, if you
11:32have Malik, I don't think he's like a must must start, but he should probably be in your lineup if you don't have
11:37superior like elite options around him.
11:39Jackson Dart looked really good in week one, so I'm, you know, cautiously optimistic about the passing game overall. Lad Mani's down at 19. This is
11:47one where I'm just kind of throwing my hands up for the time being until we hear more about the rib injury. He did
11:51not practice on Wednesday. So, I think again, it's another one where there's a very real chance he misses this week and
11:56I would have a contingency plan if he does miss. If he plays, I'm going to play him because uh I think they're just
12:03going to shoot him up with a a shot.
12:05Hopefully, that helps subside the pain a bit and uh you could play through that for a few hours. So if Vlad is active,
12:11he will likely move up probably around that like Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, Mike Evans range, like almost like a borderline wide receiver
12:19one based off what we saw early on in week one with this Chargers offense.
12:23Then we've got achuka. He is playing the Browns. They are 8 12 point favorites.
12:28This is a 41 12 point total. I want to like them a little bit more, but this is another game where I think like, you
12:32know, both teams can kind of just get dragged down into the trenches. Uh, and I know Cleveland performed really poorly last week against Jacksonville, but to
12:40be honest with you, I think that was more of a product of like how good Jacksonville's passing offense is going to be this year than it is like how bad
12:46the Cleveland defense is going to be. We do have to see if Jaylen McMillan is going to get onto the field because I do
12:52think that matters a bit. He did get a full practice in on Wednesday, so it is looking like he is trending towards
12:57making his season debut. I think that's a good thing cuz I do think that allows them to be like super versatile. I think
13:03Jaylen McMillan will play a pretty good amount of slaps on the outside and that means like Denzel Ward will not be able
13:09to really shadow any of these receivers.
13:11Abuku will be moved around quite a bit in the formation. Overall, yeah, he's like a, you know, a low-end wide receiver too right now until we start
13:17seeing more explosive games or we see better matchups. Right underneath him, we've got T. Higgins, who, you know, Vegas props have him almost nearly
13:25identical to where I is. Three and a half receptions, 50 and a half receiving yards, and the anytime touchdown line is
13:31uh similar. They're playing at Houston.
13:33So, tough matchup overall, but you know, you never really want to fade the Cincinnati passing offense too far into the trenches. After that, we have a
13:40tough one, man, with Rashi Rice playing against the Colts. We saw how runheavy the Chiefs played. We saw how runheavy they want to play. We also saw Derk
13:48Henry dominate the Colts in week one.
13:51You'd imagine Andy Reid is licking them barbecue ribs chops and he's saying, "Yep, Kenneth, you're getting another 30 piece this week." You know, just letting
13:58Patrick Mahomes continue to rest up a bit. I don't think the game script's always going to go that way. Uh I think
14:03like very quickly teams are in the same way that when Patrick Mahomes came in the league and he was like so dominant
14:08that teams started to have to play cover two shells against him. You bring in Kenneth Walker so that it's really effective to run against those types of
14:15defenses. Now you know every team is going to watch tape and be like, "Okay, Kenneth Walker is the dude that we need
14:20to stop." They're going to start playing safeties a little bit higher into the box, which will eventually open up things for receivers. So I don't want to
14:27overly panic on Rashi Rice. I think the game script was just so so obvious of how Kansas City wanted to attack Denver
14:32here. And I do think they probably lean into that for a good chunk of the season, but Rashi is still going to be
14:37relatively involved. His target share was concerningly very low. I think it was sub 10% in this one. Is that a mix
14:43of him still like rehabbing and not being fully healthy? Is that, you know, finally seeing the offensive shift from like not using Rashi Rice as an
14:51extension of their run game? That's probably like over dramatized in my opinion and I do think it'll shift a little bit more to the passing game a
14:58bit. But yeah, I think there are concerns for Rashi Rice. He's a he's a low-end wide receiver too right now. If
15:02he goes out and goes six for 71, scores two touchdowns this week, wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. The Chiefs are starting to get a lot of respect
15:08from Vegas. Again, team total of 26 and a half, which is pretty damn high. Uh, one of the higher ones on the slate
15:14here. So, we do like to see that a bit.
15:17And then rounding out basically the wide receiver twos, but tier two is Luther Burden of the Chicago Bears. They play against the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears
15:24are four and a half point favorites.
15:26Team total of 26 and a half, over under 48 and a half, which you know unsurprisingly given uh what we saw from
15:33Chicago in week one. 59 points they scored. Obviously, no touchdowns from the big three of Rome, Coulson Lovelund, and Luther Birdstein. Uh Rome played
15:43like half the snaps because he's obviously limited by the calf injury.
15:46Luther Burton had, you know, a fine game. Not a not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but he did
15:50end up going 5463. Caught all five of his targets. Like, that's a healthy yardage number. Also got a rushing attempt. So, I am not worried about
15:58Luther Burton. What I do think is going to be interesting with this game is what Brian Flores's defensive plan is going
16:03to be. You know, by this point, if you've listened to any fantasy podcasts, you know just how heavily Flores blitzed the Green Bay Packers last week. It was
16:10between 75 and 80% of Jordan Love's drop backs. He saw pressure. And I do wonder like obviously Flores is a very high
16:17level blitzer in terms of like the rate that he sends pressure. But I wonder how much of that is a product of knowing
16:21that the offensive line for Green Bay is poor and they're just not going to be able to hold up against that type of
16:26pressure. And it's like, yeah, let's bend them, bend them, bend them until they break type of thing. Whereas Chicago has a very strong offensive line
16:33obviously. But I would love to see if they do send that type of pressure cuz Caleb is such a playmaker. I I think
16:38it'll be interesting because if they send that type of pressure, I think this could be a good week for both Rome and
16:43Luther Burton because if I look at the way that they're used, like Rome is a downfield guy. So when you send
16:47pressure, that means you're usually allowing receivers to run ISO routes.
16:52Like you don't have the backup over the top because, you know, you're sending extra guys to to try to get to the
16:58quarterback, which means you're going to give guys like Rome shots downfield. So I could totally see this being a very big boomer bus game for Rome. And you're
17:04also trying to get the ball out quick.
17:05If you're not taking the shots downfield, you're getting it in the hands of guys who can make plays after the catch, like a Luther Burton. So, I
17:11do actually like the matchup despite it being obviously a very, very good defense here. Let's check the quick weather report. Moderate rain from 2
17:18p.m. onwards. Winds up to 15 mph. So, could be a little uh ugly out there in Chicago. I would say general rule of
17:25thumb like light rain is not a huge concern for the Chicago Bear or for NFL teams. I would say they are probably
17:31going to try to keep the ball on the ground in this one. It would make sense given Swift and Kungai back there. In
17:35terms of wind, up to 15 mph is also not a huge concern. Uh once we start getting north of that in the 15 to 20 to 25,
17:43that is when wind can definitely affect like the deep passing game uh overall.
17:47So something to just keep an eye on here. And you know, again, all this stuff is available in the rankings. All
17:52this stuff is basically automated and will be updating in real time for you guys. So this is not static. Like every
17:58day you can come back and check what the weather update is all the way up until game time. And before we get into the
18:03next tier, I will just say like this is a great product. I I think you guys should buy it. But some other cool
18:07things is like you could sync all your leagues if they're on Sleeper or if they're on ESPN or Yahoo and you can
18:13kind of like go to your league and it'll check off the guys that you have obviously, but also down the rankings if
18:18you see dudes that are available on the waiver wire, it has them as like a plus, letting you know that, hey, this guy is
18:23available. If you want to pick him up, if like you're debating, you know, Chris Godwin or Mai Lemon versus Rashad Baitman, it's like, oh, this guy, you
18:30know, he has a plus sign and he's higher in Nick's rankings, should I go pick him up and start him over that? Uh, that
18:35could be kind of helpful. We also have this compare players tool, which is quite nifty and terribly cut off right now, uh, the way that I have this camera
18:42set up. But on the left here, you got your league synced. Same thing that I just said. If you wanted to make more
18:46targeted start decisions here, let's say like, all right, uh, do I start George Pickkins or my League Neighbors here?
18:52here and you can click your guys from your league and basically tells you all right here are the rankings that Nick
18:57has in his rankings but then it also has all the team information. So it's sort of like the rankings we have on the
19:02homepage like I was just going through with you except it's more targeted to the guys that you have on your teams and
19:08it's a much more like focus this guy versus this guy thing. But we shall continue into tier three. We have the
19:13dub flex categories. We got Jaylen Coker, Teroa McMillan, Matthew Golden, Devonte Adams, Terry McLaren, Drake London, Roma Dunay, Jaylen Wadd, Jaden
19:21Reed, and Jacobe Meyers. So, up top, you know, we got to talk about it. I got Jaylen Coker over Tedo McMillan. I will
19:29say, you know, don't want to overreact to week one, but Coker looks awesome.
19:32Coker has looked awesome for an extended period now. The small sample size is starting to turn into a bigger sample size of not only him being really good,
19:38but him being just as involved in the offense as Tedo McMillan is. Now, Vegas still has a pretty hefty uh pretty hefty
19:44number on T over Jaylen Coker. And I will say one thing that I'm definitely keeping an eye on here is the injury
19:50report for Atlanta. Here we have uh AJ Terrell was a DNP with his shoulder injury after uh the shoulder injury that
19:58he suffered on Sunday. So, it could just be rest Wednesday rest. Billy Bowman, our basic, you know, nickel slot cornerback was a full practice and he
20:06looks like he'll be returning for this week. So, if that's the case, I probably flip these two in my rankings and move
20:12Jaylen Coker down a little bit. Uh, if AJ Terrell misses and Ted's going to see a lot of Terrell, that definitely, you
20:18know, makes this match up a ton more intriguing for me. After that, we got Matthew Golden, who led the team in
20:24targets for Green Bay last week. 12 targets. Some of them were just kind of like throwaway targets, but still good to see that level of targets right away.
20:30Him and Christian Watson are every down players. Jaden Reed's kind of just playing in the slot. Still, I I think they just have three really talented
20:36players. And I like the matchup against the Jets here who will be without Minka Fitzpatrick in this one. Dvonte Adams, one that I don't want to like push away
20:44too quickly here. I still think he's in a great situation and this is a good bounceback spot for the Rams with the
20:49Giants traveling cross country. You know, their team total is 27.3 here.
20:54Like expected to score a lot of points.
20:55He wasn't playing on the goal line passing plays. it was Puka as the wide receiver one which you know it did feel
21:00like it was kind of only a matter of time but still don't want to like over overthink the situation here. Next up we
21:06got Terry McLaren who I think you could definitely make the argument he should be higher. Struggled last week a lot and
21:10this was you know throughout the summer I wasn't like overly high on Terry McLaren. I I was a little worried that
21:15he was getting a little bit too old mixed with the fact that like while I was high on Jaden Daniels I don't know
21:20how high I was on the passing game overall. You add in Stefon Diggs, you add in Antonio Williams. This is a great
21:25bounceback spot against the Dallas Cowboys obviously who we just saw the Giants kind of shred through the air allowing the second highest EPA per pass
21:31allowed overall. Yeah, I think Terry's like a a really solid wide receiver three in your lineup. And then we got Drake London. Unfortunate man, he's down
21:40at wide receiver 29. This is more like, you know, if Cooper Rush is in the lineup and in our starting quarterback,
21:45unfortunately, it's very very difficult to start any Falcons pass catchers after what we saw last week. So unfortunately if we don't have Pennix, if we don't
21:52have Tua, if we don't have anyone besides Cooper Rush, like I don't know how we're going to play any Atlanta Falcon other than Bejian Robinson,
21:58unfortunately. After that, I've got Rome, Jaylen Wadd, Jacobe Meers. Rome, I kind of talked to a little bit like obviously I think his snaps will
22:05continue to increase as he gets healthier. And I do think with the Vikings blitzing a lot, this could be one where we see a few a few more deep
22:12shots to Rome on the back of just pressure. My guys over there 101 chuck it up high overunder. I think we'll see
22:18more scoring out of Chicago. So, and then we've got uh Jaylen Wadd, one of the more disappointing players of week one down at wide receiver 31. This is
22:25one I want to see again go through the hoop before he is in my lineup as anything more than a flex play. Super
22:30disappointing week one and unfortunately it's not really a great bounceback spot against the Jaguars. While I do think the Jaguars defense is really good, uh
22:38they might be a little bit more of like a passfunnel defense where they're they're very good against the run. We'll see how uh h how much they hold up
22:45against the pass. Overall though, the Broncos offense obviously looked very shaky against the Chiefs and Davis Webb calling the plays did not look great.
22:53So, you know, we we kind of have to wait for that offense to stabilize and neutralize. One I don't want to like
22:58overreact to again because I think all the pieces are in place. You have a young ascending quarterback. You have a great offensive line. You have a great
23:04weapons group. And we'll see how long Shawn Peyton lets Davis Webb call the plays there for. But it's a very very,
23:10you know, spreaded around offense. There are a lot of playmakers in the offense and it's very hard to like, you know,
23:15picture anyone getting eight or nine or 10 targets in a single game. And that's what just kind of spooks me for uh Wadd
23:21right now. Jaden Reed down game one, but I still think he's very, very talented and he's running enough routes, like 65%
23:27of the routes where this team is pretty pass heavy right now without Jacobs. So, another one I don't want to overreact
23:33to. Jacobe Meyers down at 33 might be a little bit aggressive. This is a uh a tough matchup for sure, but I mean
23:39Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars were just throwing the ball a lot, man. They were throwing it when they were up, they
23:44were throwing it when they were up even bigger, and then when they were up even bigger bigger, they continued to throw
23:48the ball. And Jacobe Myers actually paced the entire team in routes run. So, he was out there more than any other
23:53wide receiver. So, I think that will continue to be the case. Moving into the shaky flex category, we've got a huge
23:59group of players. This is one that's going to move the most throughout the uh remaining parts of the week for sure
24:05because this is like 15 20 players. I'll read through quickly and then I'll touch on any guys that I think are noteworthy
24:10here. Devon at 34, Cle Shir, Michael Wilson, Quinton Johnson, Courtland Sutton, Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Pitman Jr., Jordan Addison, Stefon Diggs, Adai Mitchell, Romeo Dos, Juell
24:21Robinstein, Brian Thomas Jr., Josh DS, Caleb Douglas, Alec Pierce, DK Metaf, Rashad Baitman, Chris Godwin Jr., Mai Lemon, Malik Washington, Dontavian Wix,
24:30Pat Bryant, Trey Tucker, and Denzel Boston. So, those are all guys that I think are, you know, startable in flex if you really, really have to. They're
24:39all kind of sitting in that like 35 to 45 Vegas prop range, three and a half, four and a half catches. Most of their
24:45anytime touchdown lines are pretty low.
24:48I really like Vle coming off of last week. I think this is definitely going to be a tougher environment against the
24:53Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. But I also again think that the Baltimore Ravens, you know, you saw Marlon Humphrey come out yesterday in one of
24:59the press conferences and talk about how, you know, like the number one thing for them is to make sure that they're
25:04covering Chris Ave and that he's a stud, etc., which I think should open up some opportunities for Devon Vele as the two
25:11once again. I think another interesting name to note here is obviously Quinton Johnson. They don't have lines up because they don't know about Lad Manki.
25:17If Vlad Manki is out, you know, you have to feel pretty good about Quinton Johnson being in your lineup against the
25:21Raiders. He'll run every single route and Justin Herbert has to throw the ball somewhere. So Quinton Johnson will definitely move up to a dub flex into
25:28the next tier above here if Vlad Maki is out. Courtland Sutton, Marvin Harrison Jr. Yeah, I mean Marvin Michael are going against Seattle. Not a defense you
25:37want to be going against and we just saw such a nothing from Marvin Harrison Jr.
25:41So even this feels high. I got to move Stefon Diggs up for sure, I think. But Marv is a guy that I don't really want
25:46in my lineup at all until we start seeing the offense kind of like, you know, run through him a little bit more
25:51than it did last week. Michael Pitman Jr. and Jordan Addison. I have Jordan Addison, I feel like a little bit higher
25:56than most people will. He had a, you know, terrible week one, but like they're playing against Chicago Bears here. So I I do like the chance that,
26:02you know, he makes a big play. He gets some targets downfield. Justin Jefferson obviously last week, but we have seen them trade-off games where Jordan
26:08Addison needs four or five targets to kind of explode for big games. And then Diggs gets the great matchup. Saw targets last week. I like him here. Adai
26:15Mitchell, Romeo Dobs. I mean, listen, New England, if we have to choose a Patriots pass catcher, I don't feel confident in any of them. I still think
26:23we should follow the money here and not look at a oneame sample size. I still think Dobs would be the one that I have
26:28in my lineup, though. Would not be surprised me at all if M. Collins ends up out producing him. Wel Robinson, really tough match up against Philly.
26:36Brian Thomas Jr., really tough matchup.
26:37Probably going to see a ton of Patrick Certan. Josh DS and Alec Pierce are two guys that I'm likely going to move up
26:44more so Alec Pierce. I would say he was a limited player in week one. I think he will continue to see more and more snaps
26:49and continue to operate as the wide receiver one there. So, as things get progressively better for him, I'm going to start moving him up a little bit
26:55more. DK, I just hate that he's going to see so much Christian Gonzalez, man. So, I I don't trust that. Rashad Baitman
27:01with Zay Flowers possibly out is like interesting, but I don't know. I I I don't trust that they're just not going
27:07to give Derk Henry 30 rushing attempts and Lamar Jackson throws the ball, you know, 26 times and some of them go to
27:13Baitman, some of them go to Devontes Walker, some of them go to Elijah Sroat, some of them go to Mark Andrews. Like I
27:17I don't feel confident that Baitman has a very very high target share in this one. Chris Godwin's line very very high.
27:2347 a half receiving yards is very surprising uh in a 412 overunder game.
27:29Uh, Ibuka clearly the one and I think what makes this even more surprising is Jaylen McMillan is likely going to suit
27:34up. So yeah, Godwin, this is one I disagree with on on Vegas a little bit.
27:39Mai Lemon I I think it's kind of interesting. He ran a ton of routes in week one. Didn't have a ton of
27:43production obviously, but he was on the field. They ran three wide receiver sets at a very very high rate. So I think
27:48something interesting could happen there. Malik Washington got a ton of targets. Yeah. I mean you you see the rest of the guys. There's no one here
27:54that I think is like overly fun. Trey Tucker going to run a ton of routes again. We'll see if Brock Bower suits up
27:59for this one. If he does not, I think he could be a sneaky flex start. And then, uh, we won't go into the rather not.
28:03Basically, anyone who was not named will be not named. But, you know, you look at Trey Harris, I think could be talked
28:09into the shaky flex category if Lad misses. Uh, Nico missing would obviously make some Texans players a little bit interesting. Kan Bout would probably see
28:16a lot of DJ Turner. So, that makes me spooked out. Uh, none of them played more than like 55% of the snaps last
28:22week. So, it's like, is it Jaylen Nowell getting a boost? Is it Kahan Buddha getting a boost? Xavier Hutchinson become an 80% route guy. Like they all
28:29see an uptick in targets, but I don't really have confidence in where it's going to end up because I would like to
28:35take Jaylen Nowell as a number one guy, but I I have like the least amount of confidence he plays a lot of the actual
28:41snaps and and plays on a lot of the drop backs whereas like I think Bouty and Xavier Hutchinson will probably see a
28:46ton of snaps, but I'm the least confident that they end up, you know, giving you ROI here. So that's it, man.
28:51Those are the wide receiver rankings for this week out right now. Obviously, we've got flex, we've got defense, you could sync your leagues, you could do it
28:58all on bdgeg.co. If you are a fantasy member and again, just, you know, let me know how you like this style versus the
29:05other style where I'm kind of going through game bygame. It's it's tough. I don't know. I like going game by game
29:10cuz I get to like get into a flow state of like this is how I think this game is going to work out. But I do think
29:15there's probably more value in this type of video where you get more information, you get more of a solidified list. I
29:21don't know. You tell me. Oh, one guy.
29:23One guy. Wait, sorry. Debo I I just put a fix into the site where Debo Samuel, it's annoying because like in some
29:29places he's Debo Samuel Senior and some places Debo Samuel and some places the the ners are listed as SF. In some
29:36places they're SFO for some [ __ ] very annoying reason. Uh so playing with databases on the back end, this can be
29:43annoying to find these little edge cases where things don't work. I missed out on Debo. Debo and the ners are playing
29:49against the Dolphins. 29 point team total with not John Shribbling. He wasn't playing very much, but once Shribbling went down, he became, you
29:56know, a a pretty highly tiered player. I would put him around this range here.
30:01Like he's he's right between the dub flex and the shaky flex tier. I I think I'd probably start him over Jacobe Myers
30:07and Jaden Reed. I don't think I'd start him over like Roma Dunay or Jaylen Wadd, but I I could understand the argument.
30:14He he would probably come in around the low30s receiver, but I will update my rankings as soon as this video is done
30:20now that Debo should be in the database.
