0:00That two-three turn feels like a
0:01beautiful spot to double-tap wide
0:02receiver. And this strategy will change
0:06based on your league setting, right? I
0:08think if you're in a start three wide
0:09receiver league, you're in a full PPR
0:11league, both of those settings, you
0:13might lean a little bit wide receiver
0:14heavy. If you're in a start two wide
0:16receiver leagues, you're in a half PPR
0:17league, like that to me screams going
0:20with a running back early. And in my
0:21rankings, I don't have Christian
0:23McCaffrey above Ja'Marr Chase or Puka
0:25Nacua, but I think from a strategy
0:27standpoint, if you're at the three or
0:30four, you'll without a doubt be able to
0:31get Christian McCaffrey because no one's
0:32taking him over those guys, but I do
0:34think you would be doing yourself a
0:36disservice if you didn't run a couple
0:38mock drafts on whatever platform you are
0:40drafting on. Pick from the three or four
0:42if that's where your draft spot is.
0:43Start with a receiver and see where your
0:45running backs end up. Then do it again,
0:47start with a C-Mac or your choice. Like
0:49if you like Jonathan Taylor, if you like
0:50James Cook, start with one of those guys
0:52at like the four pick and see how your
0:53team turns out. Cuz what you're going to
0:55end up doing is pressuring yourself into
0:57best player available, and what's going
0:58to end up happening is looking at the
1:00ADP, this is what your team is going to
1:01look like here. You're going to have
1:02Puka and then A.J. Brown, and De'Andre
1:04Swift's going to be your one. Raheem
1:05Mostert's Stevenson's going to be your
1:06two. Maybe not to that extent, but you
1:08guys get what I'm saying. Whereas if you
1:10start off with a Christian McCaffrey at
1:12four, and then you're able to grab a
1:14Drake London or Nico Collins and then a
1:16Malik Nabers or Chris Olave or DeVonta
1:18Smith on the turn, that stack of three
1:20players feels way better. So, my optimal
1:24strategy typically is to go some like
1:26hero running back build. And what that
1:28means is you take one elite running back
1:31early on, and then you figure out the
1:32RB2 situation after that and you're
1:34peppering receivers and pass catchers
1:36throughout the middle rounds of your
1:37draft.
