0:00Good morning friends and enemies. We are here for the week 15 waiverwire. Week 15 means we are headed to the fantasy
0:09playoffs if you are watching here. So it's a good year for your boy. We've got four leagues over there. We are in the
0:14playoffs in all four of them. We got two buys. We got a five seed. We got a six seed. We're sprinkled all over the place
0:20right now. And I can relate to wherever you are in your fantasy playoffs. You know, if you've got a buy this week 15
0:26matchup, you can finally rest. You can you can take a nap. You can close your eyes for a second. You can let your
0:32league mates squirm around on Sunday praying, wishing, hoping for a dub.
0:38You've already done your work in the regular season, right? You've done your preparation and now you are here. But the preparing is not done yet cuz we've
0:46got to hit the waiver wire. And I think there are some interesting names. I think there are some interesting conversations to be had here. And I'm
0:52going to start with the quarterback position, which is one I don't typically do because I don't play in one quarterback league. So, like the
0:58streaming thing, you could probably get that elsewhere in terms of content, but I do play in a lot of superflex leagues
1:03and there are a lot of players affected by some of the quarterback situations around the league right now. We're going to start off with what's going on in
1:10Indianapolis because Daniel Jones is out with the ruptured Achilles. Obviously, he will not be back this season. And, you know, as I uh actually mentioned in
1:18yesterday's streaming video, I said, you know, if I was in the Dynasty League, I would go try to shoot off a second for
1:23Daniel Jones to see if he can get that done. I actually completed a trade this morning for Daniel Jones in a dynasty
1:29league. So, I have like Lamar, I have Baker Mayfield, but I don't have a really solid QB3. Like, I have Gino
1:34Smith, but I'm not confident that he'll have a job next year. So, what I ended up doing was sending that second for
1:40Daniel Jones. The trade was not accepted on the spot, but there was a counter in which I gave up my 2026 second, 2027
1:48second, but I also got a 2026 third in return for Daniel Jones. So basically, I was giving up my 2027 second and then
1:56swapping my second and third for this year's draft. I'm in the playoffs. I have the buy. So that at best that
2:01second is going to be like the 209 or the 210. And that's to Adam, who you guys are probably watching the Dynasty
2:07channel. He did not make the playoffs.
2:08So that is probably going to be like the 304, 305. So it's really only like six spots difference there. And then gave up
2:14the second for the following season. And I got Daniel Jones, which I think was the perfect price. So again, I think if
2:19you can go get Daniel Jones right now in your Dynasty League for a second, go do that. However, we are talking about
2:24reddraft here. Now, interesting wrench thrown into the conundrum. Riley Leonard just diagnosed with a grade one PCL sprain. That's not a significant injury.
2:34It's likely not long-term. However, he probably will be out for this week.
2:39Regardless, you weren't playing him because they are playing at Seattle. So, that's a nightmare matchup. Anyone who has JT, anyone who has those players
2:46that are on buy, you are praying to the fantasy gods and thanking them. But, uh, if you have Indianapolis players this
2:52week, you're probably in hell. Riley Leonard. Uh, here's what I'll say about Riley Leonard. He was a Notre Dame quarterback last year. He played at Duke
2:58for three years prior to that. His arm, nothing to write home about. However, however, the dude can use his legs. He
3:04had 17, yes, you heard that correctly, 17 rushing touchdowns his final year at Notre Dame. The guy can scoot. The guy
3:11can move. He is a very very mobile and tough quarterback under center. So when he returns maybe he could be a thing in
3:17superflex leagues. The problem is now they're reaching out to Philip Rivers.
3:21To give you a reminder of Philip Rivers that was the guy who's the quarterback in San Diego LA for about 15 years and
3:29then he came over to Indie obviously and played his final season in 2020. All right. So Philip Rivers hasn't stepped on an NFL field since 2020. This is
3:38going to be a 5-year layoff if they sign him. Now, apparently he had his workout last night, Monday night. Looked okay.
3:45Arm was okay. So, it looks like it's progressing and trending towards them signing him. Do they start him right away? Is this a Joe Flacco situation?
3:53One thing to note obviously is like Flaco still has a lot more pop in his arm than Rivers did in that final season
3:59with Indie. Uh Rivers's arm became, you know, little noodly, became a checkown artist. Joe Flacco still pop. Joe Flaco was still around the he's been around
4:07the NFL for the last 5 years. like he's been playing, he's been in training camps, he's been practicing, he's been making starts. So, very, very different
4:13conundrum here. Again, Rivers has not played since the year 2020, which actually does beg the question, and I thought of this and I wanted to tweet it
4:20out and then I was like, there's just absolutely no upside to tweeting out something that has to do with like Rivers Hall of Fame candidacy. I'm
4:27curious because I Rivers is going to be one of those guys that a lot of people discuss about whether or not they should
4:31be in the Hall of Fame, no championships, what longevity, his stats are there, whatever. I don't care. I don't have an opinion. And I don't give
4:36a [ __ ] about Philip Rivers getting in the Hall of Fame or not. I did have a question though because he retired in
4:402020. You know, you have to be out of the league for I think 5 years before you can be eligible for it, which would
4:46put him, I think, eligible for it next year. So those uh insufferable conversations would probably start in 2026. But if he returns for like one or
4:53two games, would that push his eligibility back now another 5 years to 2030? That's what you got to ask yourself. And by then, I actually think
5:01that hurts his case because the case that he will have made for himself will be the longevity and the stats. Not
5:08winning championships, not winning any of those things cuz he didn't do that.
5:11No MVP awards. But another 5 years, all that will do will put a lot of these guys who are racking up stats right now
5:18above Rivers. So, I think his case actually gets weakened if this were to happen. I don't know why I'm on this
5:23tangent. I'm sorry. like this is nothing to [ __ ] do with your week 15 waiverwire, but Rivers might be starting. The other part of this is like
5:31Rivers trains quarterbacks in the offseason apparently and Riley Leonard was one of them. So maybe they bring him in to be like a mentor, though I don't
5:37know why Rivers would want to do that. I think he's likely trying to play if he is actually returning to an NFL field
5:43after Seattle. They do get two home games, San Francisco, Jacksonville. So maybe startable options. I will say I probably feel a little bit better about
5:53Jonathan Taylor, about Michael Pitman if Philip Rivers is under center. Alec Pierce feels like the odd man out here because he capitalizes so heavily on
6:03deep passes, accurate deep passes outside the hashes. And I don't really feel confident that Riley Leonard or Philip Rivers are able to do that. All
6:12that being said, this is one huge here between Rivers and Riley Leonard where if Leonard gets starts, I think he's like a streamable QB2 in
6:22superflex leagues if you're desperate. I kind of think that's the same with Rivers. Like I don't imagine Rivers has much statistical upside here. But I do
6:29think Rivers probably gives Jonathan Taylor a little bit more stability. I think he probably gives those checkdown guys a little bit more stability. I know
6:35people are going to be making the the point of like, oh, look what Michael Pitman did with Riley Leonard under center. Guys, Jacksonville was up by
6:42like two, three touchdowns at that point. They were just playing cover four defense. They're like, "Just don't beat us deep. Here's all the checkdowns that
6:47you want, you know, uh, Alakart, do whatever you want over the five 10 yards in this part of the field." So, uh,
6:53yeah, I don't I don't think that's necessarily projectable of what the target share is or what's going to happen going forward with Riley Leonard
6:59on a quarterback if he is. But again, he's dealing with the PCL sprain and we need to move on. I don't even think I
7:04had a [ __ ] point here. The other streamers I like this week, CJ Strad goes against Arizona. Just got absolutely ripped up by Matthew
7:09Stafford's got the full strength of his weapons. Love that matchup for him.
7:12Tyler Shuck has been kind of going crazy the last three or four weeks. Has scored over 17 fantasy points in three the last
7:18four weeks. Obviously showed that he could use his legs. They get a ridiculous slate of matchups going forward, too. I mean, he's done it
7:24against bad uh bad defenses, but he continues to get bad defenses. He gets Carolina and the New York Jets at home
7:29over the next two weeks before getting Tennessee in the fantasy championship matchup. So definitely go get him. And then Shadore Sanders popped. Had a
7:37massive, massive game in week 14. Gets a game at Chicago. So not a terrible matchup. Chicago, Buffalo, Pittsburgh. I don't really feel great about any of
7:44those. So I'm probably not starting Shidor Sanders if I don't have to. So we just spent all of our time on
7:49quarterbacks, which is good, which is great and fine because honestly there's not much to talk about the running back position. Blake Horm had a had a huge
7:56game on Sunday, obviously second straight backto-back huge game. But matchups start to get a little more difficult. Detroit and then at Seattle
8:03still playing on only you know 35 30% of snaps. It's still Kron Williams' backfield for the most part though.
8:08Blake Hormum when they insert their will, he will have fine games. I think he's like a flex option in good matchups
8:14and he's obviously a high high-end handcuff right now especially when they play bad opponents. But um yeah, Blake Horm should be owned. I'm not like going
8:22out and spending all the fab that I have on him regardless. Jaylen Wright, we've heard the news that Achan's probably fine. I don't think he's really going to
8:29be limited or like held back in any capacity going forward. What we're really looking forward to is that week 16 match up against Cincinnati when Han
8:37needs to put up that 35 piece for us. Uh so Jaylen Wright, if you want to if you want to grab him just as like insurance
8:43or something in case Han misses week 15 at Pittsburgh, which I don't expect to be the case there, like he's fine. He's
8:49a handcuff. The only other name that really piques my interest on this list that is owned in less than 50% of
8:54leagues would be Devin Singleary, though it's 46, so he's he's probably owned in any serious leagues. Singleary, if you remember, prior to the week 14 buy, the
9:03Giants lost Tyrone Tracy in the middle of the game to a hip injury. Apparently, the reports are that it's not overly
9:08serious whatsoever. And the fact that he's had two weeks to recover from it would lead you to believe that he will
9:13be fine for week 15, but we don't have practice reports yet. So, if Tracy comes out and is a DMP this week, I mean, the
9:20match up against Washington, I even think Singleary would be a good play, a good flex play against Washington cuz they're horrendous against running
9:26backs. Even if Tyrone Tracy is playing in this one, I think both of them will probably get somewhere between 12 to 15
9:31touches. But if Tracy misses this match up against Washington, I think Deon Singleary is in for like a floor of 15
9:36PBR points because when you consolidate all the touches in the Giants backfield, it becomes a clapfest. Moving over to the wide receivers here. Ryan Fenoi,
9:47Florenoi, I don't give a [ __ ] how we say it. We care about his fantasy production. He will only matter if CD
9:52Lamb is out with a concussion. So, that's a tough match up against Minnesota regardless. So, I don't know that I'm like trying to really start him
9:58either way. CD Lamb had the concussion on Thursday. He's going to have 10 days to clear. So, we'll kind of have to just
10:03wait on news there. Jaden Reed 48% own.
10:06He should have been stashed this entire time. came back, ran about 65% of the routes in Green Bay's offense their first week back. They do get a tough
10:13schedule. They're at Denver, then they're back at Chicago week 17 against Baltimore. But yeah, he's a very talented player in a high octane offense
10:21there. So Jay Reed could be started as your wide receiver three flex play. I don't feel like overly optimistic, but I'm sure he'll have a good game or two
10:27over the course of the remainder of the season here. But good to see him back running routes, getting handoffs, like used in a very, very high capacity in
10:35that offense here. Luther Burden is the other one with Roma Dunce sidelined. We saw a little bit of an uptick, right? He
10:40goes from 50% of snaps up to 70% of snaps. He is getting a decent amount of targets. That's four straight games with
10:46at least five targets here. They play Cleveland in week 15. Cleveland is, you know, a good defense, but I I feel like
10:53they've been had in in random weeks. So, it can definitely be the case for Chicago. Probably going to be frigid frigid frigid temperatures there as I
11:00feel like it always is this time of the year. But I like Luther Burton. I wish we just saw him see like an uptick to,
11:07you know, 90% of the routes there. But Olakias ended up jumping in and playing, you know, the the Roma Dunay role. But
11:13as long as Roma Dun is out, I think Luther Burton is playable and he would probably be my preferred target in the
11:18Chicago Bears passing offense, which is completely inconsistent and doesn't have a ton of sex appeal there. But, you know, you could do worse for sure.
11:25There's not a ton of other options that I love on the wire. Devon is interesting. I mean, mainly because he's running every single route. He actually
11:33led the team in receiving yards with 40 last week, which is crazy. Mainly because Tyler Shuck ended up running in a bunch of touchdowns. But again, the
11:38matchups are great. Carolina, New York Jets at home, Tennessee. So, I think Vle should definitely be owned. And honestly, in a pinch, I I think you
11:44could do worse than him in a flex option. And then there are two rookies, Pat Bryant, Jack Bash, who are both kind
11:49of like simultaneously coming up together where they're now running, you know, 50 60 70% of the routes. Jack B is actually almost a full-time player right
11:57now. They don't have a ton of upside just given like the makeup of their offenses where the Raiders, you know, can't protect Gino Smith. They don't
12:03pass the ball at a very high volume.
12:05Denver doesn't pass the ball at a very high volume. They already have Courtland Sutton there. They run the ball a lot.
12:08So, like I'm not overly optimistic about either of those guys' ceilings here. But Pat Bryant did jump Troy Franklin in terms of routes run. So, he is the
12:16second highest route runner in that offense right now. Should be noted Pat Bryant was a day two pick. kind of under
12:22the radar there cuz he's like a boring archetype of player. Very much in that like Jacobe Myers, Romeo Dobs type of
12:28archetype. Same thing with Jack Bash, I think, there too. But Jack B is a little bit interesting because they don't actually have a one there. They have
12:33Trey Tucker who runs the most routes and you have Brock Bowers as the, you know, the top tight end of course, but I think
12:38Jack BH becomes a little bit interesting there if they let him run full-time routes. He did do that on Sunday for the
12:44first time. Ended up with, I believe, five catches on five targets, 60 yards.
12:47Talented rookie again. So, I'd imagine over the last month of the season, they let him rip a little bit more. So, he is
12:52he's an interesting one for show. And I would actually go as far as saying that I think the most interesting position on
12:59the waiverwire this week would be the tight end. I mean, obviously Harold Fannon's super highly owned. If he's not, you know, David and Jojoku's got
13:05the knee injury. He needs to be owned everywhere. Cassiki becomes really interesting because Mikei is now going to step up with T. Higgins likely out.
13:13So, T. Higgins suffers his second concussion in basically two or three weeks and honestly might have suffered like three concussions in that game
13:20alone. So maybe his fourth concussion in two weeks because they're not playing for anything because he's in the protocol for the second time in that
13:25many weeks. I would put that at a 95 to 99% chance that he is now put on IR and shut down for the remainder of the
13:33fantasy season for you there. So sorry T. Higgins, but you are no longer going to be in lineups. And we've seen
13:39historically when either T. Higgins or Jamar Chase are out. Mike Caseiki gets a huge boost in playing time and production and targets and volume. He
13:47essentially becomes like the slot wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. The one wrench that's kind of been thrown in here in this equation is the Cincinnati
13:54Bengals now have Noah Fance who is running a decent amount of routes and that happened on Sunday. Mike was still under 50% of the routes run for the
14:02team. Did end up having a big day.
14:03Actually performed really really well. 6 for86 touchdown. Had that nice one-handed catch. All that kind of good stuff. But still expect him to see a
14:10very expanded role here. Noah is still probably going to run, you know, 30 40% of the routes, which again makes Gaziki
14:16a little bit more volatile, but I still have a decent amount of trust in where his place in the offense is going to be.
14:22Baltimore, Miami, Arizona, you got three plus matchups going forward. So, I actually think Mosiki is easily easily uh a premier target on the streaming
14:31tight end waiverwire. Darren Waller's not on this list, but I do believe he is owned in fewer than 50% of leagues. Oh,
14:37yeah. He's on the other side. He's on the the drop list. Absolutely don't do that. 42% of leagues. This was a game
14:42that Miami just controlled. Didn't really need to throw the ball around much. Only 30% of the snaps for Darren Waller. Not worried about that. But the
14:49reason you want to keep him on your team is that week 1617 slate of games for Miami. They play Cincinnati. That's like
14:56I don't nothing more needs to be said.
14:58When you have a tight end playing against Cincinnati, they're in your lineup. No ifs, ands, buts, or thoughts about it. And then Tampa Bay is
15:03obviously a passing defense that you could throw the ball against. The last name I'm going to put on your radar for
15:08a tight end streamer if you're in a deep league would be Pat Frymouth. He's had basically one good week and it was
15:14against Cincinnati Bengals. However, Darnell Washington is in the concussion protocol and if he misses their week 16 game against Miami at home, that's
15:23something I'd be interested in for Pat Frymouth, right? Like, you know, the passing game's whatever in Pittsburgh, but if you consolidate the tight end
15:30targets and the production there between just one or two guys, it becomes a little bit more appealing there. So if Darnell Washington is out, I do expect
15:36Pat Footh to run, you know, 70 80% of the route. Johnny Smith is just like a fake toy gadget at this point that
15:41doesn't really get involved in the offense. So I expect Pat Frymouth to actually have a pretty nice floor here and I think you could stream him if you
15:47are desperate and you know you're deciding between him and Kobe Parkinson and Ben Sonat like definitely would go Pat Frymouth in that area. All right.
15:55And we can go down the trending down tab here. Zack Z of course droppable. He's out for the year. Daniel Jones, same
16:01thing with him. Adani Mitchell I I don't know that I would drop necessarily. I think he's still got a ceiling. We don't
16:08know what's going on with the quarterback situation there. I'd keep him on my roster most likely. Like I said, Waller keep Wilson's just a
16:14handcuff to Josh Jacobs at this point.
16:16So keep him if you want to. Jaden Daniels, I don't think he's done for the season, so I would hold on to him.
16:21Brenton Strange would definitely hold on to him. He was a penalty away from having another touchdown last week. So he's kind of been redot. Tesla, you
16:27could definitely get rid of Romeo Dobs.
16:29Honestly, I I think you could drop him unless you're in like a 14 or 16 team PPR league. Mooney, yeah, I mean, he's
16:35put up more dud games than he has good games. Tampa Bay actually's it's a good matchup. Thursday Night Football, if you're really desperate, I think you
16:42could actually start Darnell Mooney this week, but I get it. The week after that, maybe Drake London returns and Mooney goes back to a nothing burger. Uh, I'd
16:49probably hold on to Mooney. I would hold on to Vele. Parker Washington's kind of on that like borderline for me. The
16:54Jacksonville Jaguars have an okay schedule. Like the Jets at home is great. Denver's terrible, but then Indie in week 17 is going to be a good matchup
17:02for them. So, I mean, it's hard to start Parker Washington, so I'm fine if you drop him. Fine if you drop me. Would
17:07hold on to Chris Rodriguez. He's got a couple good matchups in the future.
17:11Bashalt Tutton would rather hold on to if I could, but he's in the concussion protocol, I believe. So, like if if you
17:15need to drop him, that's fine. Gadston, I would not drop, but I get it. PCO has been pretty useless all year. Shawn
17:22Tucker, same thing. Mark Andrews, I don't know. If you got better tight ends options, that's fine. and Yoshvas I'd probably hold on to now that Tiggins is
17:29going to be gone there. Greg Dorch he's on the IR you could drop him. Kate Dotton is kind of a nothing burger once
17:34Mike Evans returns. Troy Franklin he has been passed by Pat Bryant but I do think there are probably still usable games in
17:40the near future. Trying to predict them almost impossible. Green Bay, Jacksonville, Kansas City. Tough slate of games. So if you need to drop him I
17:46get it. Trey Tucker he's another one where you know you get at Philly you get at Houston. Good match up in week 17 but
17:52like are you really going to be starting Trey Tucker in your championship game? I get it if you want to drop him for sure.
17:57JCM you could drop. Luther Burton do not drop. Quinton Johnson I wouldn't drop.
18:00Haskins drop. Brock Wright drop. Kamani Vidal definitely hold on to. We saw him first game back with Amari and Hampton still very very involved. Went over 100
18:07yards of scrimmage thanks to the big play through the air but you get it nonetheless. I think that's going to be
18:12a two-back committee going forward.
18:13Higgins would not drop there. Reed definitely don't drop. Kirk, yeah, of course you could drop him. Malik Davis definitely droppable. Devin Singleary
18:20would hold on to. Evan Ingram dropable.
18:22Kamar I would hold on to until we see practice reports this week. I still am holding I hope that he returns. I think
18:27he does return. DJ Moore, he stinks, man. I will say though I will say I it kind of feels a little bit like Adai
18:33Mitchell where like with the number one receiver likely out for multiple weeks.
18:37Like DJ Moore will have his weeks, you know what I mean? Like he's running 90% of the routes and consistency level like
18:43near zero. But I think like if I'm deciding between him and like a Trey Tucker, I would go him just based on the
18:48fact that Roma Dun is outs. Uh Raandre Stevenson. Yeah, I think that's a split backfield between him and Trayvon. So, I
18:54would hold on to Raandre. Ricky Piece is another guy that I would hold on to. I do think if like if any pass catcher in
18:59that offense gets hurt, that schedule down the stretch, Tennessee, Indie, Chicago is great and I think he would see a huge uptick in targets to be like
19:06the number one waiverwire ad if something happened to Jawan or George KD or anything like that. So, I will leave you at that. As always, the waiverwire
