Aaron Jones

PositiveUsage24:15

Aaron Jones is a must-start after operating as a bellcow with 23 carries and 65-70% route participation; he is the only backfield option the coaching staff trusts, despite minor knee injury concerns.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeRole12:16

Braelon Allen is categorized as a 'rather not' start because he lacks pass-catching usage and relies heavily on touchdown dependency; he is expected to see around eight touches per game with a very low weekly floor.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeUsage10:36

Breece Hall remains the workhorse for the Jets, averaging 20 touches per game. While the source notes he is a 'feels good' start, they express concern about his reliance on explosive plays and receiving work if he fails to score a rushing touchdown.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveUsage25:21

Bucky Irving is a recommended start due to his high snap share (approximately 75%) and superior performance compared to Kenneth Gainwell, who is receiving almost no work. Despite a tough matchup against the Vikings, Irving's volume and efficiency make him a strong lineup option.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeUsage17:26

Chris Rodriguez Jr. is a 'rather not' start who has failed to secure a significant role in the Jaguars' offense. With limited carries and no clear path to goal-line work, he is trending toward being a droppable player.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection22:01

Christian McCaffrey remains a top-tier fantasy option despite a slow start; he does not require massive touch totals to produce, as he serves as the primary goal-line back and benefits from high target volume due to San Francisco's offensive injuries.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole7:15

With Jonathan Brooks out, Chuba Hubbard is established as the bellcow running back for Carolina. The source notes he is performing well in this role, reminiscent of his 2024 top-12 fantasy production, and will be the primary goal-line option.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveProjection55:58

D'Andre Swift is a 'feels good' start for Week 3. He has maintained a 65-70% usage rate and looked phenomenal. The source expects the Bears to lean heavily on the run game regardless of whether Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum starts at quarterback.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveUsage13:46

David Montgomery remains a strong start despite a disappointing Week 2; he maintains a 53% snap share compared to Woody Marks' 47%, serves as the primary route runner, and is expected to handle all goal-line work.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeUsage23:31

De'Von Achane is categorized as a 'feels good' start, but the source notes he has struggled to get going, is not receiving many dump-offs, and lacks goal-line opportunities.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole18:14

Emanuel Wilson is the primary beneficiary if Jerome Ford is sidelined, as evidenced by his 21-carry workload last week. He is a trusted short-yardage and goal-line option, and the source would start him with 100% confidence over Travis Etienne if he is the designated starter.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury31:58

J.K. Dobbins is expected to play in Week 3 after leaving last week's game with cramps, though his history of injury uncertainty makes his status worth monitoring. If he is unavailable, Tyler Batty is expected to step in to handle pass-catching routes and backfield work.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury17:55

Jadarian Price is dealing with a chest/shoulder injury; while the team reports it as minor, there is a genuine chance he misses the upcoming game, and fantasy managers should prepare alternative options. Jadarian Price is dealing with a chest/shoulder injury. The source suggests fantasy managers should have a backup plan ready as there is a legitimate chance he misses the upcoming game. The source compares Travis Etienne's current fantasy outlook to that of Jadarian Price, though they are slightly less optimistic about Etienne. Price is currently dealing with an injury. Jadarian Price is currently dealing with an injury, and the source views his fantasy outlook similarly to Travis Etienne's, though slightly more optimistic.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection10:29

Jahmyr Gibbs is ranked as a must-start fantasy option, positioned near the top of that category for Week 3.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection5:24

James Cook is a locked-in starter because of his attachment to Josh Allen in the Bills' offense.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage26:48

Despite a recent down game where he looked slow, Javonte Williams remains a must-start due to his high snap share (85%) and previous touchdown production in week one.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection21:09

Jaylen Warren is a strong RB2 candidate who leads his backfield in routes and rush attempts. He is preferred as a long-term asset and would be a 'feels good' start if Rico Dowdle is ruled out.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury7:03

Jonathan Brooks is expected to undergo minor surgery for a groin injury and will be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Insight page

Kaelon Black

NegativeDepth Chart22:15

Kalon Black is receiving a decent amount of work and carries, but the source views him as a high-end handcuff rather than a starter, noting his usage is heavily dependent on game scripts where the 49ers dominate.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeRole6:50

The source places Katon Mitchell in the 'rather not' category for fantasy lineups until he demonstrates more production or a clearer role.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeDepth Chart30:32

Kendre Miller is currently relegated to a healthy scratch status in the Saints' backfield.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection23:26

Kenneth Walker is a must-start running back at the very top of the rankings, maintaining an insane workload that currently limits the fantasy viability of his backup, Emma Johnson, unless an injury occurs.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage31:16

Kyren Williams remains a must-start because he dominates the valuable, high-leverage, and goal-line touches in the Rams' backfield, making him significantly more trusted than teammate Blake Corum.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeRole1:58

MarShawn Lloyd has failed to secure the Packers' lead running back role despite having the opportunity, and he recently fumbled, leading to a reduced workload. The source expresses more confidence in Braelon Allen's fantasy outlook than in Lloyd's current value.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeRole19:50

Despite a fumble and increased competition from TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to remain the primary early-down back for the Patriots, though the backfield split remains uncertain.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury20:30

Rico Dowdle's toe injury is officially day-to-day after negative tests. If he plays, he is a shaky flex option, but managers should have backup plans if he is a DNP in practice.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury32:11

R.J. Harvey is dealing with a hamstring strain, which puts his availability for the upcoming game in doubt. If both Harvey and J.K. Dobbins are sidelined, Jonah Coleman becomes a strong fantasy option.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury33:53

Saquon Barkley is dealing with a stinger/neck/shoulder injury that caused him to exit early last Sunday. The source leans 51/49 that he plays in Week 3, noting he is a 'must-start' if active. If he misses the game, Tank Bigsby becomes an enticing 'feels good' start who will handle goal-line work against the Bears.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveBreakout16:41

Tank Bigsby is the clear primary running back for the Jaguars, leading in carries and route participation. He is an enticing 'feels good' start for Week 3 if Saquon Barkley is out, as he is expected to handle goal-line work against the Bears, even if Will Shipley remains involved in passing situations.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveRole19:50

TreVeyon Henderson has earned more carries due to his explosiveness and is expected to see continued usage in the passing game as the Patriots seek playmakers.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeUsage22:55

Tyler Allgeier is not recommended for starting lineups due to a split backfield that makes it difficult to rely on either him or his counterpart; he is running routes and getting carries, but the situation is too unpredictable.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeValue15:15

Woody Marks is a 'shaky flex' play with a 47% snap share used primarily to spell David Montgomery; the source advises starting Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson over him.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeSleeper23:50

Zach Charbonnet is a backup worth monitoring in case of injury to Kenneth Walker, serving as a handcuff with a similar outlook to Kalon Black's role.

0:00Good morning, friends and enemies.
0:03Today's video, week three, running back rankings. As always, we're going to go game by game and we're going to look at
0:08every fantasy relevant running back and tier them. Must starts, strong flexes, feel good about them, L flexes, the guys you need to bench. We're going to be
0:16moving a little bit more subdued, a little bit more quiet today. If you've noticed, I have a an extra set of ears
0:22in this video. That's young below me. A he's a good boy, but he needs to be attached to me unfortunately for right
0:32now. When I leave him in the play pin by himself, he gets very nervous and he just shits. We'll figure that out. But
0:37today, I'm here with you talking through running back. So, I'm sorry if this is the worst produced video ever. I'm on
0:43edge with this little guy. Just got him a couple days ago. His name is Action, aka Jackson Smith and Jigba, aka Action
0:50Smith and Jigba. I realize y'all are not here for me. You're not here for him.
0:54You're here for running back rankings.
0:56So, let's do it. First game up on the slate, we've got Atlanta at Green Bay, 43 and a half point total here. The
1:02Falcons are 5 and a half point underdogs. They will have Michael Penn under center for this one for the first time this year. So, no more Cooper Rush.
1:08You know, Bejian's obviously proven that it doesn't really matter who is under center. You're getting him into your lineups and you're not thinking twice,
1:14three times, eight times about it. On the flip side, we do have a little bit of a conundrum here with the Green Bay
1:18Packers running backs. Cuz while Josh Jacobs is out, we've had a split between Marshon Lloyd and Christopher Brooks, and that turned into a three-way split
1:26between Marshon Lloyd, Christopher Brooks, and Caleb Johnson last week. And Caleb Johnson actually looked like the best runner. Got the most touches in
1:33this one. They lost Zack Tom. And I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I can't pronounce his last name or I don't
1:39know it well enough to to butcher it.
1:40So, I think the more respectful thing for me to do, I'm actually doing you a favor by calling him Zack Tom. But, he
1:46changed his last name. Heard a comment from last video that was in honor of his uh Nigerian heritage. So, that's cool.
1:51I'll eventually learn it, but I might not need to for the time being cuz he's out for the year. Unfortunately, he was
1:56their best tackle when healthy. They also lost Aaron Banks last week, and it does look like he will likely miss this
2:03game as well. He is a back-to-back DNP so far, so you know, trending towards him not playing. So, the Packers offensive line was already performing
2:11really poorly and it ended up being just Jordan Love chucking the ball to his receivers. It's just Golden and Watson, Golden and Watson, Golden Watson over
2:18and over and over again. Uh, with very little success on the ground prior to the injury to the offensive line. As you
2:23can see here, the Vegas props have Caleb Johnson at 37 and a half rushing yards.
2:29Marshon Lloyd down at 27 and a half rushing yards, Christopher Brooks at 25 total yards, 16 and a half rushing yards. All that to say, I actually
2:37probably feel the best about having Caleb Johnson on my team right now. I don't want to overreact because I'm not excited about having any of them, but
2:44the story so far is that Marshon Lloyd kind of had the opportunity to run away with this job and, you know, just hadn't
2:50been able to do that. And Marshon Lloyd fumbled last game. He did score a receiving touchdown, but then he fumbled and then it was Caleb Johnson who led
2:56the team in carries after that. So, I'm looking at it like we're going to move Caleb Johnson into the rather not. I
3:01don't think you could play any of these guys. So, I'm going to go rather not, rather not. And that's all she wrote for
3:05that one. We will move to the next game on the slate. We have the Chargers at the Buffalo Bills here. This is a 50 and
3:12a half point total cuz the Bills have just been nonsensical on offense up to this point. We have the Bills expectedly
3:19are seven-point favorites. The way they're playing, the way the Chargers are playing, this is cross country for the Chargers at Buffalo. So, James Cook
3:27just attached to Josh Allen is always going to be in your lineup. Obviously, Hampton coming off of a big day with
3:31over 20 carries. did end up scoring a touchdown. The Buffalo Bills defense is definitely one you can run the ball against. That being said, the the
3:39Chargers offense is obviously look super suspect up to this point. So, he's going to go into the feels good category. I
3:44don't see a world where you don't start him. Obviously, he's their workhorse and Katon Mitchell's not really getting much involvement in this offense right now.
3:50He does have an anytime touchdown line of minus 140. So, they are expecting him to get into the end zone, but we just
3:56need to see a little bit more fluidity obviously for the Chargers. And that's definitely not a promise given what this offense has looked like so far. So I
4:03still feel all right about Hampton. I still think he's a pretty strong running back too just because of his involvement in this particular offense. And then
4:10Katon Mitchell until he shows us something else. I think he's got to be in the rather not category. There's no one else we are playing in this one.
4:16Next up we've got Carolina at Cleveland.
4:18So Carolina only two and a half point favorites here. 42 and 1/2 point total.
4:23The big news out of the running back room for Carolina is Jonathan Brooks is now expected to undergo, I believe, a
4:29minor surgery and is going to be out for at least six weeks with this groin injury. So, that obviously opens up
4:35Chuba Hover to be the Bellcow here, which he was kind of operating already as for the first two weeks. And he's
4:39performed really, really well, you know, given that role. It's kind of going back to the 2024 Chuba role, which was a top
4:4512ish guy for fantasy, and he's, you know, he's doing that right now. They've obviously played the Chicago Bears and the Atlanta Falcons in the first two
4:52weeks, but it's not like it gets much more difficult with the Cleveland Browns here. So, for Chuba, you know, he doesn't really provide a ton of like
4:58explosive plays, but he will be the dude at the goal line. And at this point, you know, they are looking to possibly bring
5:05in Austin Eckler. I'm filming this at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd. So, any injury news or any like news thereafter that happens, obviously,
5:13you cannot hold me liable for that. Uh, Chuba, it's hard to put him in the must-ar category because he's not the
5:18level of talent that Cook and Bejan are, but there's just no way you can't have him in your lineup at this point with
5:23Jonathan Brooks out and him consolidating the work. And with Bradick calling the plays, like the offense obviously looks a ton better. We'll see
5:30over the course of the season whether that's like legit or whether that's just the strength of schedule early on, but he's going to go into there. Quinnshot
5:36Dudkins really rough start to the season. It just feels like he goes 10 for 30 every single week. Like they want
5:41to get him going, they just can't get him going. The offensive line is bad, the run plays are bad. I will say this
5:46is quite an optimistic matchup. So, if you're going to get him back into your lineup, I don't hate this being the
5:50week. He's going to go into the shaky flex because how could you possibly feel good about the Browns offense and how
5:55how can you feel good about him right now based off of what we've seen so far, but he'll be towards the top of the
5:59shaky flex category. So, I don't think he needs to be in your lineup. But I actually think, you know, of the weeks
6:03that we've played so far, this does feel like on paper at home against the Carolina Panthers, who have allowed the second most fantasy points to the
6:10running back position, uh, so far through the season, only two games, obviously, small sample size, but his anytime touchdown line is still
6:16relatively strong at plus 125. I don't hate the spot for Quinn Judkin. Season long outlook still looks pretty dreary, but he'll be all right in your lineup
6:23this week. Moving to the next game, we've got the Jets at the Detroit Lions here. a 47 and a half point total, 6 and
6:29a half point favorites for the Detroit Lions. Gibbs is obviously going into the must-ar category, somewhere near the top of it. Flip side gets a little bit more
6:36interesting. Reese Halls still operating as the workhorse there, seeing about 20 touches per game. The Lions have allowed the third most EPA per rush, eighth most
6:45success rate or eighth highest success rate per rush, fifth most explosive plays per rush, and are the 11th highest team in terms of fantasy points allowed
6:53to the running back position. that defense is obviously a disaster and I don't think they're that bad of a run defense, but when your secondary is so
7:01bad, it's just very hard to play one style of defense there. So, Brol is going to go into the feels good category
7:07cuz we did see Brayon Allen take away a rushing touchdown last week and I don't think we're going to see, you know, a
7:13ton of rushing touchdowns for the New York Jets. They'll probably be playing behind in this one. And if Bree doesn't score a rushing touchdown, you know,
7:19he's got to get there through explosives. He's got to get there through receiving work. And you know, they do have him pegged pretty high
7:23there at three and a half receptions for this on 21 and a half receiving yards, 78 total yard line there for him. They
7:29do have him at a strong anytime touchdown line of minus 135. So Vegas probably feels a little bit better about him than the rhetoric I'm currently
7:36giving off to you. I mentioned Brayon Allen. I think he goes into the rather not category. feel better about him than
7:40like Katon Mitchell and the Marshon Lloyds of the world because I still think he's it's almost like um like the reverse Woody Marks where he's going to
7:46be on the field for, you know, a decent amount of snaps and probably get somewhere around like eight plus touches, but he doesn't catch passes. He
7:53could get some goal line work there. So, he has a very, very low floor on a weekly basis cuz you need a touchdown
7:58out of him. Houston at Indianapolis.
8:00Next up, we've got the Houston Texans as three-point favorites in this one despite being on the road in Indianapolis. 42 and a half point total.
8:09So, this tends to be, you know, the theme with the Houston Texans. Every game's kind of like a a grind it out.
8:14Can we get the win at the end of the game because we're going to be in close games and our defense keeps keeps us in.
8:19All that doesn't really matter. Jonathan Taylor's obviously going into the must-star category. Off to a ripping start to the season. Next up, we've got
8:26David Montgomery who came back down to earth after week one. Had, you know, the fakest huge fantasy performance of all time. 20 carries, 60 yards, but he
8:33scores three touchdowns. Now, that came back down to earth in week two where he put up just massive duds for anyone who
8:39played him in fantasy. That being said, I do really like the matchup and I do think they go back to him in this one,
8:44but they are using Woody Marks at a very high clip. They're almost like splitting snaps near evenly and they talked about
8:50that in the preseason. I just think we've had some wonky game scripts for them where up to this point in the
8:54season, Montgomery's been on the field for 53% of the snaps. Woody Marks the other 47%. So, probably a little bit closer than most people realize at this
9:01point. Montgomery is obviously getting more carries and he's going to get all the goal line work here, which I think he's probably a pretty good bet to score
9:08minus 115 in the anytime touchdown category there. He's actually running more routes or has run more routes than Woody Marks up to this point. So, you
9:15know, Woody's out there, but David Montgomery is getting the touches while he's out there. Obviously, Woody, I think, is actually playable. He's
9:21definitely going to go into the shaky flex category. I I'd prefer not having him on my lineup, but I do think they
9:25clearly are going to use him to spell Dave Montgomery a decent bit, and it is a good matchup. Again, you could see
9:31across the board there for the Indianapolis Colts. Third most fantasy points allowed to the running back position. Second most EPA and success
9:37rate per rush. Just a lot of green across the board. So, a good matchup for running backs. Next matchup, we've got
9:43the New England Patriots at the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is definitely one of the trickier ones to figure out this week for sure. This is a 45 12
9:52point total here. The Jaguars are three-point favorites at home. So, a little bit of traveling down the East Coast for the New England Patriots here.
9:59Both teams present good run defenses.
10:01Both teams have somewhat of a uh committee. Tuon's definitely shown on the Jaguar side of things that he's the guy there. Got the Wildcat goal line
10:09look. Though I I don't know that I want to read that much into it. Like it yes, technically it's a goal line look, but
10:13like you're not going to give Chris Rodriguez the Wildcat look. Like you need someone who's a little bit speedier than that. So I I do wonder, you know,
10:20if they get inside the three yard line and they're in an eye formation, what people look at as like the traditional,
10:25you know, power formation goal line work. I do still think there's a chance that Christopher Rodriguez can get that.
10:31So, I don't want to say like, oh, just because there's a Wildcat score by Bashalt Tutin, he's definitely the goal line guy there. But what is obvious is
10:36he's getting a lot more carries. He's also running more routes. Even though we're not seeing a ton of like explosive plays or a ton of pass catching from
10:42Tuton, I still just want to continue to attach myself to pieces of this offense.
10:46And Toutton seems to be like the clear guy there. Whenever he's on the field, he's getting touches, whereas like Chris Rodriguez, he's only got a handful of
10:52carries this year and clearly does not seem to be a huge part of this offense.
10:56So now we have like a good sample size of, you know, them losing last week to Denver in a tough matchup and week one
11:01they were dominating and Chris Rodriguez never really took over like the pure running back role there. So I I think it's I'd be very optimistic about Bashaw
11:08Tutin for seasonl long purposes right now. Still a very tough matchup against the Patriots, you know, seeing a lot of red across the board. Uh fourth fewest
11:16fantasy points allowed to the position on the year. They've got that duo of Christian Barour and Milton Williams up the middle which are very very difficult
11:22to run on. So based on the matchup, based on still being a little bit unsure of what happens inside the goal line and
11:27based on just how many targets are going to the wide receiver position from Trevor Lawrence, I still think I'm going to go in the dub flex category rather
11:34than feels good. Chris Rodriguez is definitely going to be a rather not here. Can he score a touchdown? Sure.
11:40But like we haven't really seen anything that makes us even honestly like he's he he's getting to like the droppable category rather than am I debating
11:47putting him in my lineup. The other side of things is definitely a bit trickier.
11:50You have Trayvon Henderson and Raandre Stevenson where Trayvon played his first game last week and looked great. Ripped a 39ish yard touchdown run right up the
11:58middle. Kind of untouched, but still that's what he brings to this offense.
12:01It was his first game back from the ankle injury that he was dealing with most of the summer. And Raandre fumbled
12:06and people remember like Raandre had very very significant fumble issues throughout his career and that led to a lot of speculation last year that he was
12:13just going to fumble the job away and Trayvon would take it. Never really came to fruition. He did fumble in this one
12:18and then was all Trayvon afterwards. He had a lot more touches, showed a lot more explosiveness. I still think the Patriots aren't going to look at a one
12:24game sample size right now when they have all of the last season and a half and say like, "Oh, Raandre is getting
12:28benched or he's in the doghouse." I still think they're going to go back to the split that was probably going to be
12:33the case throughout most of the summer and then ease its way into early in the year where Raandre I still think is
12:39going to be the majority of the early down work here. But Trayvon definitely earned more carries with that explosiveness going forward and they
12:45will probably continue to feed him a little bit in the passing game because they obviously badly need explosive playmakers. But Vegas I think will help
12:53serve as bumpers here for you where Raandre 53 total yards, Trevon 50 total yards. They actually have Trayvon up at nine and a half rushing attempts where
13:02Raandre is at 8 and a half. However, they have Raandre at two and a half receptions and Trayvon at one and a half
13:07receptions. So pretty pretty tricky spot to be in. I won't lie. I am not envious or jealous of people that have one or
13:14two of these guys and are trying to figure out whether or not to flex them.
13:17I think, you know, the matchup is tough.
13:19I would start both of them over guys like Woody Marks. I think Judkins probably gets to that breaking point where they're around the same tier, but
13:27we haven't seen much from Judkins to the point where like I don't know that I could throw him into my lineup this week
13:31if I have options like Trayvon who could kind of make his hey in one play. So, you know, these rankings will obviously
13:37be updated throughout the week and we get more press conference info from coaches and kind of seeing the way that they feel about these players. As
13:43always, the rankings are live and available for you guys on bdge.co for fantasy members updated in real time for injury news and and all that kind of
13:51stuff. So, I'm going to throw both Randre and Trayvon Henderson into the dublex category, but probably closer to the bottom of it without knowing, you
13:59know, how this backfield going forward is going to shake up. Moving to Kansas City at Miami. Kansas City 11 and a half
14:06point favorites here. 46 and a half point total. Obviously Kenneth Walker is going to the very very top of the must
14:11start list. Uh Achan, you know, again really hasn't gotten it going. Not getting a ton of dump offs. They just have very very few goal line
14:19opportunities. So Achan, yeah, like just for conversation sake, he goes into the feels good category. He'll be definitely towards the top of it. If you drafted
14:26him, he's obviously going to be in your lineup. So there's not much more to say about it. But for both backfields,
14:30obviously there's no one else really getting involved to the point where you're even thinking about starting them. I'll throw Emma Johnson on the
14:35rankings list this week just cuz it's a good matchup and uh similar outlook to like Kalon Black last week where it's
14:40like, oh, they're expected to win by a lot. Like maybe the backup running back gets some work. Emma Johnson's look good. They've talked about wanting to
14:46get him a little bit more involved and maybe they do over the course of the season, but for Emma Johnson, you're
14:50obviously just, you know, waiting to see if something happens to Kenneth Walker with his insane workload to really put him into your lineups. Let's move over
14:57to Tennessee at the New York Giants. So, we have the Giants as two and a half point favorites despite all the
15:03injuries. 39 and a half point total here. Uh they are in New York for this one. Our first yellow weather game of
15:10the uh the slate here. I don't think it's anything serious. We do look at about uh 30 to 50% rain here. Uh winds
15:17up to 16 mph. I'm not really overly concerned about wind whatsoever. Plus, we're talking about running backs, so this has almost no effect on it. if this
15:24rain starts getting up into like the 60 to 70% chance and we'll we'll talk about this. But this info again is also
15:30available in our rankings on the front end of the website for you guys. The weather updates are basically in real time. So they're always refreshing. So
15:38you'll have like the most up-to-date weather data from the National Weather Service uh within the rankings itself.
15:43So I'm not going to look at something that just win related for running backs at this point. But overall talking point
15:49for the New York Giants is Jackson Dart is going to miss some time. reports ended up being a lot more pessimistic.
15:54Obviously, chance that he misses the entire season. Jameus Winston's going to be under center. As far as the backfield is concerned, though, like I'm not
16:01worried about it for Cam Scabbo. I still think he's the guy. He took about 60ish% of the snaps last week, split the other
16:0740 with Naji Harris and Deon Singleary, which it does seem like is going to be a little bit of a thing. But we did see
16:13his target total bounce back a little bit. He got up to four targets last week. And it does look like that's
16:17probably going to be his role for the foreseeable future. uh we need to see some more goal line carries to get a
16:22solidified stance on you know who's getting those. I I would project it to be Cam Scatabo though. So for this week
16:28um definitely put him into the feels good category. Should obviously also be noted that Malik Neighbors has a bit of a shoulder injury. Don't know if he's
16:34going to miss time. Andrew Thomas also left the game. He is their, you know, their star left tackle there and that's
16:40going to cause some problems on the offensive line if he misses time as well. We have practice reports and stuff uh available on the front end rankings
16:48for you guys once they become available too. Should be relatively good game script against the Tennessee Titans. You can obviously take advantage of a
16:54defense like that. So Cam's going to go into the feels good category. Tony Pard and Taj Spears, you know, I think
16:59they'll flip-flop back and forth with like, oh, this guy had a better fantasy day. Tony Pard, you know, out carried him. I think it was like 14 to7 last
17:05week, but doesn't make me feel much better about either of these guys going forward. So I'm going to put Tony Pard
17:11into the shaky flex category. should see the majority of touches. This is a relatively good matchup against the New York Giants, who you could see a lot of
17:18green across the board there. Eighth most fantasy points allowed to the running back position. Fourth highest success rate allowed per rush. But, you
17:24know, if you've been starting Tony Pard up to this point, you know, he's like a shaky flex at best. I'm going to throw
17:28Taj Spears into the rather not. He will get some touches and could always bust off a big explosive play and catch some
17:33passes, but I'm not really interested in anybody else in this game. Next up, we've got Seattle at Washington. Another weather game here. Let's see. low
17:41percent chance of rain. 15 mile per hour wind. Yeah, nothing to overly be concerned about. Once it gets into the orange category, that's when we're going
17:47to start diving a little bit more into the analysis of weather. I am just technically a weatherman. I am just technically a father. And Jadarian
17:55Price, as I am just technically a doctor, is dealing with some sort of chest shoulder injury. We don't really have clarity. You know, they're they're
18:03saying it's minor. I think there's a chance that he does actually miss this game. I don't know that I'd put money on
18:09it, but I would say, you know, if you have Jadarian Price, you should be making plans to have uh another guy
18:14ready to go. And that does seem like it would be Emanuel Wilson based off the amount of work that he got when Jaden
18:19Price left the game last week. If Jadarian Price plays based on the match up against Washington, Washington will will be without Jaden Daniels. So, I'd
18:27expect Seattle to really like take control of this game. Uh he's going to go into the bottom of the Dublex category. you know, on a per rush basis,
18:34he's looked great, but until we start seeing more involvement from Jerian Price, start seeing some goal line work, etc. It is going to be a little bit
18:41difficult for him to like really jump up the rankings. We want it to happen, and I do think it happens over the course of
18:46the season, but for right now, if he plays, we're going to put him into the dub flex category. If he doesn't end up
18:52playing, I mean, Emanuel Wilson definitely goes into the dub flex category and I might even rank him higher than I would Jadarian Price if he
18:59plays just because of the consolidation that will likely happen in that backfield. We saw Emanuel Wilson get 21 carries last week when Jadarian Price
19:06went down. Obviously, the game script dictated him having a huge carry total or having the running backs in this game have a huge carry total here, but we've
19:13seen Emanuel Wilson do the same thing in Green Bay last year when Jacobs was out, had a big game. They clearly trust him
19:17here. It wasn't like they split him and George Halani getting like, you know, 10 carries each. It was it was the Emanuel
19:23Wilson show. He's a short yardage guy.
19:25He would almost definitely get the goal line work here. And despite the really low overunder of 40 and a half being a
19:29seven-point spread, their team total is still around a healthy like 24 points here. So, they're going to expect a few touchdowns here. Uh George Hani, even
19:38with the injuries, is a rather not for now. On the flip side of things, you know, going to be very hard to trust
19:42this offense. One, because they'll be without Jaden Daniels this week, so they'll have Marcus Mariota starting.
19:47two, you know, the run game just hasn't looked great. And more importantly, they're playing Seattle, which is like a near impossible defense to run against.
19:55So, as much as I like Jakori and the amount of work Rashad White got last week, like I am not looking to get those
20:00guys into my lineup. Next up, we've got Cincinnati at Pittsburgh here. Bengals three and a half favorites, 42 and a half point total. Chase Brown is going
20:10to go into the mustard category. You know, had a little bit of a down week last week, but he just kind of gets it
20:14done week in and week out. He'll catch passes. He gets a ton of work in an offense that will continue to score a
20:18ton of points. It won't always be 30, 40 yard passes to Jamar Chase. These will be more drawn out long drives for this
20:25offense, which will obviously benefit Chase Brown. Cincinnati seventh most fantasy points allowed to the running back position. A lot of green across the
20:30board, or sorry, I should say the Pittsburgh Steelers. On the flip side, it does look like Rico Dowel ended up checking out okay with the toe injury.
20:37He was carded off. Tests came back negative and he's officially listed as dayto-day. Uh we'll have to see what the practice reports end up being. Um, if
20:45he's like a DMP on Wednesday, Thursday, I would definitely start to make alternative uh plans if you were planning on starting him. But it does
20:52sound like he has a real chance to suit up against the Bengals. Though, if you've been watching football a little bit, the Bengals run defense is not what
20:57it was last year. Dexter Lawrence is playing out of his mind and has completely transformed the defensive line and it's been tough to run against
21:03them. That being said, like I'm not shied off of running backs in this matchup. So, I will say if Rico misses,
21:09Jaylen Ward's definitely going into the feels good category. If Rico ends up playing, it becomes a much more difficult conversation. Uh Warren would
21:16go probably towards the bottom of the dub flex category and Rico would probably go into the shaky flex category. Uh this offense just is not
21:23very good. They are not running the ball very much. They're pretty much in a 50/50 time share. Warren has more routes
21:29and and rush attempts on the season, but that does factor in Rico missing time last game with the injury. So overall, I
21:35still prefer Jaylen Warren as the asset long term and I prefer him this week and I prefer him pretty heavily if Rico does
21:42miss this upcoming week as like a pretty strong RB2. Next game up, we got Arizona at San Francisco. San Fran 8 and a half
21:48point favorites here. 47 and a half point total. Just guys, you want pieces of for San Francisco. I mean, they are
21:53just down more pass catchers again.
21:55Demarcus Robinson hurt. Jake Tung is hurt. They're, you know, it's just a mess there. I don't even know why I'm wasting my time talking about it, but
22:01CMA's going to go towards the top of the list. I know he hasn't performed super well up to this point, but as you saw
22:06last week, he doesn't really need huge touch totals or to perform that well for him to make his hay in fantasy two goal
22:11line scores. He'll continue to be the goal line guy and will continue to get a ton of targets with all the injuries to
22:15their offense. So, not worried about him at all. Through two games, they have given Kalon Black a decent amount of work and they do have him out there
22:21taking carries, but I think it's also important to note that in both games, uh, the Niners just dominated Gamecript and they could kind of just do whatever
22:29they want there. So, you know, Black's not a guy that I'm trying to get into my lineup right now. Obviously, a high
22:33high-end handcuff, but in like normal game scripts and normal, you know, leverage situations, it's likely going to be CMAC out there just cuz they trust
22:41him so much. Flip side of things, little bit more difficult to figure out. By a little bit, like significantly more difficult to figure out cuz as talented
22:49as Jeremiah Love is, and as much as I do expect him to continue to uptick his workload, like they're just not doing it
22:55right now. Algier is running routes out there. He's getting a ton of carries.
22:58So, they're very much in a split backfield. It's It's so hard to pinpoint either one. Like, I'm not starting Tyler Algier. I'll throw him into the shaky
23:06flex category and at the bottom of it.
23:08Jeremiah Love's just a tough one to to really eke out here. He needs to catch three, four, five passes and needs to be
23:14in on the goal line or make some explosive plays. Just hit a quick refresh on the lines. We do have some
23:19rushing yard lines for Jeremiah Love. 37 and a half yards. Anytime touchdown is plus 150. Yeah, that's, you know, that's the issue right now is like until we see
23:28a real changing of the guard here until they have like a very clear like, all right, it's Love's time. It's Love's
23:33backfield, which I don't know when that's going to happen. It's going to be difficult to start either one of them.
23:37So, Love's going to go into the the shaky flex category. He'll go near the top of it just cuz he's such a fun
23:42explosive player and he could get it done via an explosive play. He could get it done via pass catching. like this
23:48will be a game script will where they'll need to throw the ball and it's not like the Niners defense while you know much
23:53improved from last year cuz they got a lot of guys back from injury is not one that you need to like completely shy
23:58away from like it's like the Seattle Seahawks of last week. Moving to the Minnesota Vikings at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We have the Vikings as one
24:07and a half point favorites here. Uh 42 and a half point total. We have Kyler Murray back under center. The story line
24:12of last week's game was Jordan Mason being out and Aaron Jones just went full bellcow. He did injure his knee a little
24:18bit at one point in the game, but did end up returning. So, it's nothing serious at this point. I think like just
24:23based on the split between him and DJ Dallas and Dean Claybornne, like there's just no world where Aaron Jones isn't in
24:29your lineup. He was in on 41 of the 51 Minnesota Vikings snaps on offense last week. 23 rushing attempts. Insane. Uh
24:38ran 10 routes to the five combined of the other two running backs. didn't end up getting targeted, but again, that is
24:44still 65 70-ish% of the routes run and that could easily flip to being higher volume number of plays for the offense
24:51as well as seeing three, four, five targets in this one. How long Jones will hold up in this role, no idea and I
24:58don't feel optimistic about that. But for right now, they're going to continue to give him volume because clearly they trust him. DJ Dallas is pretty new to
25:04the team and Dean Claybourne's just an undersized rookie right now. So, uh, Jones is really the only guy in the backfield that I'm sure Kevin Oonnell
25:10can trust at this point. So, we'll see how long he holds up for, definitely hold on to Jordan Mason. Um, if you got
25:15him on your IR spot, but for right now, Aaron Jones probably needs to be in your lineup. Feel the same way about Bucky. I
25:21don't feel great about the matchup against the Vikings. Like, they're so good on defense, but Bucky has just ran circles around Kenneth Gainwell.
25:28Gainwell is getting almost no work. He's very rarely getting touches when he's on the field. Buckyy's playing like 75ish% of the snaps, which is such a huge
25:36number for running backs in this day and age. So Bucky I think just by pure volume and he's looked good should be uh
25:41on the field here. Obviously the offense, you know, we'd like to see a little bit of uh just more efficiency there and Baker play a little bit
25:47better, but I I really like Baker's workload or Buckyy's workload, sorry.
25:51And Kenneth Campbell is going to go into the rather not. Same with everybody else in this game.
25:57All that whatever. Moving to Baltimore at Dallas. This is the 425 game 52 overunder. three and a half point favorites for the Baltimore Ravens here.
26:08Derrick Henry's of course going into the Mustar category against the Dallas Cowboys defense. Same thing for Javvante. I know Javvante had a down
26:15game last did look a little bit slow, but he's still playing on like 85% of the snaps with all the injuries to that
26:20backfield there. So, sure, he had down game last week. He had two touchdowns in week one. Like, he's he's going to be
26:26fine. Minus 180 anytime touchdown in this one. Last afternoon game here, we've got the Raiders at the New Orleans Saints. The Raiders are three-point
26:35underdogs, two-0 team, 44 and a half point total. Genty, yeah, had a little bit of a down week. Didn't go crazy in
26:40fantasy, but we saw what he can do in week one. This is not an overly scary matchup by any means. You can see the
26:45Saints defense here, sixth most fantasy points allowed so far through two weeks.
26:48Again, that will normalize over the course of a month or two, but sixth in EPA per rush allowed, number one. So,
26:54the most or the highest success rate allowed per rush to opposing running backs. So, sneaky great spot for Genty here. I don't think anybody's thinking
27:03twice about whether or not to put him in your lineup. And again, sometimes I get comments like, "How would Genty be the
27:07the B? How are you starting Genty?" or "How are you starting Javvante over Genty?" or something like that. These guys, this is more just a conversational
27:14video to to kind of direct you and how I'm feeling about each game and these players. These are not my finalized
27:19rankings. Like I said, on the front end, they will be finalized for you guys exactly, you know, how I feel about
27:24these players in PPR, half PPR, in these tiers, amongst flex players, etc. So, don't take these at like pure face value
27:32right now. Just think about how I'm thinking about these players. Uh, so you can sign up to be a fantasy member on
27:38the front end of bdgeg.co.
27:40You could also get this for 3 months uh for just $10 if you go over to our partner website or app BetMGM. If you're

28:12access to all these tools, all these rankings, etc. Basically, for the remainder of the fantasy season after Genty, the other side of things is
28:19obviously a mess. We have Travis ETN who like we're just begging for 11 12 points at this point. Uh Alvin Kamara comes
28:26back in week two, makes his return for the season. They have Kre Miller as a healthy scratch and despite that Kamara
28:32ends up with 15 opportunities in Swan, catches a ton of passes. ETN did have a goal line touchdown called back. Not
28:40that that makes me feel any better or more secure about his role. And this Raiders defense has looked a lot better
28:45than probably given credit for up to this point. You could see a lot of red here. dead last in EPA per rush allowed
28:51to opponent running backs. There has to be something else going on behind the scenes. Uh I don't know if Kell Moore
28:56just is like, "Yo, Travis ETN is not it.
28:59He's just not a good player." I just can't imagine you give him that money like so early on in free agency and then
29:05you put Alvin Kamar out there and he does what he does where he catches, you know, five balls for seven yards or
29:10whatever. Yeah, it it's weird. And it's not like Travis Tiennis look. It's not like you're watching the game and he's like, "He looks so much better than
29:16everybody else. We need to have him out there." So yeah, it's it's very weird.
29:19Uh we're getting to the point where obviously he is a little bit of a a shaky player to have in your lineup. I'm
29:25going to have to start him in some leagues because he is like my RB2 there.
29:28But do I feel great about it? No, I don't. I I think I look at him almost the same way I look at Jadarian Price.
29:34Maybe a little bit less optimistic.
29:36Price is obviously banged up right now.
29:38But if if here's the way I'll put it. If Price was out and if it was Emanuel Wilson, I would 100% be starting Emanuel
29:44Wilson over a guy like Travis ETN right now. Do I think better days are ahead for ETN? Yes, I do. Am I confident that
29:50it's going to come this week? No, I'm not. So, we're actually going to put him in the shaky flex category towards the
29:55top of it. And then we have Kamara, who is definitely a rather not. I think he should be owned, unfortunately, but he's
30:00in the rather not category for y'all.
30:01Then we move to Sunday Night Football.
30:02We've got the Rams at Denver. Man, the the Rams have like such a brutal schedule, man. Like, you know, everybody wants to watch him play. I get it. But,
30:11you know, you got prime time, prime time, prime time. It's just every single week travel's been crazy. going to Denver this week. Denver two and a half
30:18point underdogs in this one. So the Rams are favored despite playing in Denver in mile high. 45 and a half point total.
30:24The Rams look back to the Rams on Monday Night Football which was good to see.
30:28For the backfield Rams, Cororm and Kairen, I think it's kind of playing out exactly how we imagined it where they're just splitting carries pretty evenly.
30:36But Kairen gets all the valuable work.
30:38He gets he's just so trusted on the goal line. He's he's way more trusted in the receiving game here. So, while Cororm is
30:44like getting touches and eventually when they have much better matchups, you know, those will probably lead to bigger games and will probably lead to some
30:51touchdowns when he's just kind of finishing off the drives that he's on.
30:54But for right now, when you're playing a team like Denver where the score is going to be really close, I I still
30:58think McVey is going to ride with the guy that he trusts the most in those, you know, high leverage situations. So,
31:02Kiren continues to just be a dude that you keep in your lineup. He kind of just gets it done on a weekly basis one way
31:07or another. Blake Cororm is definitely going to go into the shaky flex category for me. On the flip side, this is one
31:12where like I can't really give you an accurate reading on what's happening right now because of the injuries to the backfield for Denver. You have JK
31:19Dobbins who left the game last week, but he's apparently fine. Uh they said it was cramps, not an actual like hamstring
31:24strain. So, if that's real, then he should definitely be playing in this upcoming week. In his absence, Jonah Coleman played well, but that was also
31:31without R.J. Harvey, who's dealing with his own hamstring strain right now.
31:35Overall though, I mean, I don't know.
31:37where where there's definitely a chance that Harvey misses this upcoming game for sure. Hamstrings are typically somewhere between one and three week
31:44injuries. I'm going to assume that the Dobbins cramps makes him good to go, but in the case that we're just lying about
31:49injuries again, which Dobbins kind of just does all the time, he could miss this game as well. Obviously, if those two are out, like Jonah Coleman becomes,
31:55you know, I'm not going to put him into the mustar category, but I feel pretty damn good about him. Tyler Batty would
32:00definitely take some routes and take some passcatching work here. If Dobbins plays, then that makes everybody, in my opinion, a pretty shaky flex. And I
32:08think that's probably the case for kind of everyone involved here. It's just it's a very tough backfield to kind of parse out right now. Espec, you know,
32:14it's Wednesday morning. We don't have injury reports for this week. They typically start to come out for Sunday's games. You know, Wednesday noon,
32:21Wednesday 2 p.m., Wednesday 4 p.m. They start to just roll out individually by team, which again will be updated in our
32:27rankings on the front end. So, unfortunately, I can't really give you more of an updated situation on the running back group right now without
32:32knowing more. Sunday Night Football turns into Monday Night Football. We've got Philly at the Chicago Bears. Philly 4 and a half point favorites in this
32:40one. A 41 12 point total. So, we have the Bears almost definitely playing without Caleb Williams on that side. So, we should probably see some Philadelphia
32:50dominance in this game even though the spread is not very high in this one.
32:53Saquon Barkley dealing with a stinger.
32:55So, a little bit of like a a neck injury, a little bit of a, you know, shoulder injury, whatever whatever you
33:00want to classify it as. He did return to the game after he left the game originally on Sunday, but then he
33:06couldn't really like finish out the game. This is a tricky one to figure out. If I had to lean one way or
33:10another, I would say 5149 that he does end up playing. But obviously, if he doesn't, this opens the door for a guy
33:15like Tank Bsby. And what makes it enticing is obviously the match up against the Chicago Bears defense.
33:20Played, you know, better against the Vikings, but a lot of that was probably Carson Wentz under center. really sloppy weather game. Just a sloppy game all
33:26around for both teams. If Saquon plays, he obviously goes into the, you know, mustard category. If he does not play, I'd put Tank definitely in the feels
33:33good category. Like, I'll have him in my lineup for a couple teams that I have him in, but Will Shipley was definitely
33:38out there and definitely playing a lot of the obvious passing situations. So, this won't be a bellcow role for Tank Bsby if Saquon misses. I'm not looking
33:47to start or put Will Shipley probably even on my roster in any situation, but he will kind of be a little bit annoying
33:53for Tank, but Tank will take the goal line work in what I assume to be a good matchup if he does get on the field if
33:58Saquon does miss. On the flip side, you've got DeAndre Swift and Colum Nungai, who Swift has, you know, Swift is like a 65 70% player this year so far
34:07and he's looked phenomenal. This is obviously a tough defense against the Philadelphia Eagles, but not one that I don't think you could have success
34:13against uh this year. So, Swift is going to go into the feels good category, he's going to go pretty damn high up in
34:18there, uh, just because of how well he's played. And I do think with a backup quarterback, which, you know, obviously it's a double-edged sword there. You
34:25know, you obviously want Caleb under center cuz it disguises whether or not you're going to run it. The play action works really well, etc. But you'd
34:31imagine that they're going to lean really heavy on the run game with this offensive line with either Tyson Bean, who's in the concussion protocol, or
34:38Case Keenum, who would be the next guy up there. But regardless, yeah, DeAndre Swift is going to be in your lineup this
34:44week regardless of who's under center for the Bears. And then Colin Nungai is going to go into the, you know, borderline shaky flex, borderline rather
34:50not category. Don't really think you could start him with the backup quarterback under center. He needs to score a touchdown in order for him to
34:56like make his hey for you. So that will wrap up a very calm 45minute running back preview. As always, tomorrow will
35:04be the wide receiver version of this video. So, if you're new here and you are not subscribed to the channel and
35:08you want to see the wide receiver version of it, we'll have more injury reports. We'll have a little bit more data. So, go on. So, that will be a
35:15little bit uh more valuable probably for you guys. I don't know how to look at it from a bigger picture. So, we're just
35:20going to slowly kind of scroll down so you guys can see the whole thing here.
35:33Look at little action. Just stayed asleep. right on my nut sack the entire time.
35:42>> All right, if you enjoyed the video, hit the thumbs up. Hit the thumbs up for action. He needs it. He needs a He needs
35:48higher self-esteem. He needs some self-respect, young man. All right, I'm out of here. I love y'all. Moochies.
