Cam Skattebo

NegativeUsage0:45

Cam Skattebo's usage is volatile and frustrating, characterized by a 0% target share in Week 1 followed by a 13% share in Week 2. While he is a strong short-yardage runner, the team is pulling him at the goal line in favor of Najee Harris, who saw two touches inside the 10-yard line. Additionally, Devin Singletary rotates in during passing situations, further impacting Skattebo's consistency. He is currently performing as an RB15-RB22, and the source suggests treating him in that range while noting potential upside as a home favorite.

0:00Dude, Najee came in for two touches
0:02inside the 10. I'm
0:03tilting my ass off.
0:04>> me, I saw.
0:07>> Yeah, man. Cuz dude, I I played like my
0:10big home like my main home league which
0:11you care about that I care about the
0:12most. I mean I care about winning like
0:14the main event and stuff obviously, but
0:16like in my my soul cares about like my
0:18home league stuff and I was down like
0:19eight points and I had Scarbrough left.
0:20>> What league do you check the most? You
0:22know, it's like you're like, well
0:23obviously I care the most about winning
0:24like a million dollars, but then you're
0:25like spending time on waivers in your
0:27home league. You know what I mean? It's
0:28like
0:29>> but I needed eight points from
0:30Scarbrough and like when he he like they
0:32got into the 10 like one drive and Najee
0:34came in and I was like
0:36Like I just like lost like
0:39It was like body like my soul like soul
0:41just gone. Just evaporated. I was like
0:43cool. Like uh
0:45>> What what are your thoughts on
0:45Scarbrough with like this I mean so 7%
0:48target share through two weeks that
0:50that's a 13% target share in in week two
0:53after 0% week one. So, you know, if week
0:56two is more reflective of the role then
0:587% understates where he's at, but
1:00I mean, it does seem like we you know,
1:03I've joked about like Matt Nagy's never
1:04seen him play football until he he saw
1:06him in person and it kind of does seem
1:07that way and it's like why is he not a
1:10feature of what you're doing near the
1:12goal line to bring if the one thing you
1:14would think you kind of understand about
1:16Cam Scarbrough is that he's really good
1:18in short yardage.
1:20>> Yes.
1:20>> And and they're pulling him at the goal
1:21line.
1:22>> No, it makes no sense.
1:23>> The usage is is really strange for for
1:26Scarbrough.
1:28>> It's frustrating. I don't know what's
1:30sticky though, right? Like it's it's
1:31hard to say like what is actually cuz
1:33you said it's like it's so volatile like
1:35they were he was coming off the field
1:36and passing stuff in week one for Devin
1:38Singletary. Now he's coming at the goal
1:39line for Najee Harris, but then they're
1:41calling him some design pass stuff in
1:43week two after none of it in week one.
1:46Like I'm just trying to figure out what
1:47we got, but in short terms of backfield
1:49touches though, he's been the RB 22 and
1:51the RB 15. I think to me like that makes
1:54sense like that area. I wish he could be
1:56better, but like at least short term
1:58like that's kind of where I'm kind of
1:59treating him. And maybe you give him a
2:01little bit of bump cuz he's a home
2:02favorite here. Like, you know,
2:04you factor some of that stuff in. You're
2:05like, "Oh, he's a home favorite, so
2:06we'll give him a little bit of juice."
2:07But, I think that like RB, you know, 15
2:10to 20 range is like kind of where he
2:12still is right now.
