A.J. Brown

PositiveUsage9:30

A.J. Brown has been hurt by Caleb Williams' accuracy issues over the past four weeks; 26.9% of his targets have been inaccurate throws. The source explains that Brown doesn't draw many screens and free plays that come with high success rates, making him particularly vulnerable to Caleb's poor CPOE and off-target throws.

Insight page
NegativeInjury25:00

Likely out for the Eagles-Giants game; hasn't practiced all week and while not officially ruled out, the source is assuming he's gone given the Eagles have a bye in week nine.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeRole21:55

The Saints' run game is dysfunctional; the source states 'they functionally can't run with Alvin Kamara,' citing injuries to key offensive linemen Kendry Miller and Eric McCoy that have historically crippled the Saints' rushing attack.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeProjection5:23

Caleb Williams has a 3.23 second time to throw, the slowest in the NFL, which creates a matchup consideration against the Ravens' weak pass rush; however, Williams is also the worst quarterback in terms of completion percentage versus expected (CPOE) at -10%, with the highest inaccurate throw rate, creating floor risk even in favorable spots. The source notes he's uncomfortable in rhythm and tends to hold the ball longer, averaging two to two yards less per pass attempt on plays with motion—a cheat code for most quarterbacks but a liability for him. Ben Johnson is now simplifying the offense and using more under-center play action and pre-snap motion to hide Caleb's mistakes after a month of sample showing persistent accuracy issues. This directly suppresses receiver production; 26.9% of A.J. Brown's targets over the past four weeks have been inaccurate throws.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeRole44:53

Chuba Hubbard remains the Panthers' starting running back despite receiving a contract extension, but his role may be shifting. The source questions whether the Panthers are turning to Kenneth Walker III, suggesting potential snap count competition or a move toward a committee approach in the backfield.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole8:00

Loveland is up this week with Cole Kmet trending toward being out, positioning him at a really cheap cost in a wide-open tight end week. The source identifies him as a potential beneficiary if the Bears fall into negative game script and shift to pass-heavy play. With another tight end (likely Kyle Pitts or similar) out, Loveland is in play as a DFS option; the source suggests potential stacking opportunities with the Williams side, including possible doubles with Flowers or Henry.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeProjection16:16

The source expresses difficulty getting excited about DJ Moore in the Bears offense, indicating skepticism about his fantasy upside in this matchup.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveRole25:00

Becomes a potential double-stack target with Jalen Hurts in the Eagles-Giants game due to AJ Brown's likely absence. With the Eagles' passing game coming alive (Hurts hit big plays downfield against the Vikings despite a low blitz success rate) and the Giants secondary depleted (Ado and Holland expected out), Goedert gains target share opportunity in a favorable matchup.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeUsage42:22

Dalton Kincaid has elite per-route efficiency metrics (2.59 yards per route run, 22% targets per route run, tight end one in open score) but is severely limited by snap count and route participation. His participation has been consistently capped at 57–63% this season, and with Jackson Haw mixing in at 23% participation last week, Kincaid's ceiling is fragile despite strong production when on the field. The Bills' run-heavy game plan and preference for blocking tight ends further constrains his fantasy upside.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue17:18

Identified as chalk tight end play for Week 8; the source expects high ownership and volume in a wide-open tight end slate where gamers are prioritizing running backs and Jamar Chase, pushing tight end into pay-down territory. The source states 'we're going to see a lot of Dalton Schultz' this week.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

NegativeUsage42:42

Dawson Knox posted a season-high 77% route participation last week, but this ceiling is constrained by Jackson Haw's continued involvement in the Bills' tight end rotation. Knox is unlikely to reach 80–87% participation because the Bills like Haw and will continue mixing him in, particularly for run-blocking purposes. This limits Knox's upside despite the elevated snap count.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveRole4:00

Derrick Henry benefits from Patrick Ricard's return to the Ravens offense; last year with Ricard on the field, Henry averaged over 6 yards per carry. The Ravens are expected to deploy significantly more 21 and 22 personnel packages with Ricard back after missing the entire season. Henry is positioned to see balanced offensive usage as the Ravens likely play through the run game with Lamar Jackson still not fully cleared from injury. The source expects the Ravens to lean on Henry and maintain a balanced approach rather than force a pass-heavy game plan, especially given the Bears' weakness against the run. The source highlights Henry as underowned relative to Jonathan Taylor: 'this is a week where Henry is not going to be very popular, has a always has a high ceiling' and 'Henry stands out to me a lot uh this week.' The source is skeptical of the Bears' run defense despite recent success, noting the Saints' dysfunction and questioning whether the Bears have truly turned the corner.

Insight page

Devin Singletary

NegativeMatchup33:00

Ran down the Eagles' throats in the first matchup, but the source is skeptical this repeats in the rematch because the Eagles will have Quinyon Mitchell and Jalen Carter back to improve run defense. With Jalen Carter on the field, Eagles allow 3.7 yards per carry and 1.02 yards before contact to running backs; with him off the field, those numbers jump to 4.9 yards per carry and 2.15 yards before contact. Additionally, Singletary's carry share has declined to 50% over the last three weeks, making him a box-score-chase trap for those relying on first-game performance.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveRole25:00

Already hot with three WR1 scoring games over the past five weeks. Faces a big spot with both AJ Brown and Noah Debo out. In the previous Eagles-Giants matchup, he had an 89-yard touchdown that was wide open but was overthrown by Hurts. Since the Eagles acquired AJ Brown, Smith has run 207 routes with Brown off the field and been targeted on 28.5% of his routes with 2.51 yards per route run, firmly in WR1 usage territory. The source identifies him as a potential double-stack target with Hurts in this rematch.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveValue17:45

Priced at $2,600 on DraftKings coming off 85% route participation in a favorable game environment; the source views him as a viable punt play at tight end. Despite only peaking at 9% target share despite high route volume (compared to Mark Andrews at 73% route participation in 12-personnel sets), the source notes that even if Likely doesn't hit, 'I don't know if it if it kills you' given the chalk is Schultz and five points from Likely might be acceptable in this wide-open tight end week.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeValue17:30

Referenced as a chalk play that drives lineup construction strategy; gamers are prioritizing 'the two hammers at running back and Jamar Chase,' which pushes tight end into pay-down territory for DFS.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveProjection24:04

Came alive last week against the Vikings despite a low blitz success rate; hit big plays downfield, indicating the Eagles passing game is coming to life. This sets up potential double-stack opportunities with receivers against a Giants secondary missing multiple defensive backs. The source expects the Eagles to move the ball well through the air against the Giants, supporting Hurts stacks. In the first Eagles-Giants matchup, the Giants did not blitz Hurts at all and called an extremely conservative defensive game plan: they blitzed Daniel Jones 46% of the time (their highest blitz rate of the season; next closest was 28.9%), played man coverage on over 50% of snaps (next closest was 34%), and the source questions whether the Giants will feel compelled to adjust their approach in the rematch, similar to how the Ravens manufactured pass rush against their secondary.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection39:48

Expected to get fed in Bills' run-heavy approach against Panthers. The source identifies Cook as a ceiling play running back that serves as a pivot off the obvious ceiling plays like Robinson and Taylor. While passing volume is limited, the Bills' game plan to get out in front and control the game should result in heavy Cook usage.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeMatchup39:43

Theoretically set up for a big game against Panthers defense that lacks pass rush and doesn't blitz at high rate. However, the source expects Bills to lean heavily on running the ball rather than pass, as they're not worried about Panthers run defense and will aim to get out in front early. This limits Allen's ceiling despite the favorable matchup; the source notes Allen rarely brings teammates along in high-volume passing games due to the Bills' balanced approach, limiting ceiling upside for pass-catchers.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeRole44:53

Kenneth Walker III is emerging as a potential threat to Chuba Hubbard's role in the Panthers backfield. The source raises the question of whether the Panthers are transitioning toward Walker, suggesting increased snap count or role opportunity going forward.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeMatchup27:07

Vidal's recent strong performance against the Vikings run defense is cited as evidence that the Vikings are vulnerable to running back production, supporting the case for Barkley to have a breakout game in the same matchup.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveInjury3:00

Lamar Jackson was a full practice participant and expected to return for Week 8 after hamstring injury. The source expects reduced rushing volume as he recovers, with the Ravens likely to rely more on their ground game through Derrick Henry and 21/22 personnel packages. Jackson is still not fully cleared, which will keep the Ravens balanced and run-heavy rather than forcing a pass-heavy game plan. Despite injury concerns (26th percentile EPA per play vs. Chiefs, missed time, not fully 100% healthy), the source projects upside as a passer against the Bears' weak pass rush: 'Lamar with Monin against this defense, I think can still get there as a passer.' Stacks well with Isaiah Likely as a double-stack option, and Flowers-Lamar is noted as a 'pretty strong single stack.'

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeUsage17:55

Recorded 73% route participation in 12-personnel sets before the bye week, providing context for tight end route distribution and usage patterns in the Ravens offense.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveProjection30:30

Judkins was 'big-time chalk last week' and despite poor overall metrics, scored three touchdowns and had a 46-yard run, demonstrating that running backs in favorable spots (home, big favorite, team leaning on them) can produce fantasy value through goal-line touches and chunk plays even when efficiency metrics are poor. This template applies to Barkley's upcoming matchup.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveMatchup23:58

High-upside pivot play in his fourth revenge game against the Giants; had his best rush yards over expected of the season against them (12 carries due to game script), but this week the Eagles are favored and unlikely to abandon the run. The Giants run defense is bad and will be without multiple secondary players (Ado and Holland expected out), preventing them from stacking the box like Brian Flores did last week (50% stack rate). Two weeks ago against the Giants, Barkley was efficient with only 25% box stacking. The source made him the cover boy because 'if this if he can't do it here, then I don't know that, you know, 2025 is just kind of a lost season.' Barkley faces a classic good spot for running back spike weeks: big home favorite against bad run defense; at the goal line he was productive last week. The source compares his situation to Quinchon Judkins' spike-week setup: both are at home as big favorites with their teams likely to lean on them heavily in the run game. Judkins was 'big-time chalk last week' and scored three touchdowns despite poor overall metrics, suggesting Barkley needs only touches and goal-line opportunities to produce fantasy value. Despite poor recent metrics and inefficient run game production (10 carries for 27 yards after his first two carries in the last game), the source believes Barkley's physical tools remain intact and he is due for positive regression similar to Christian McAffrey and Jalen Gibbs, who had poor metrics entering last week but exploded.

0:01Welcome to the Legendary Upside YouTube channel and podcast. My name is Pat Grain. Follow my content at legendaryupsside.com. With me today,
0:08Rich Rebar. We're talking through the week eight slate of games. Reeves, how's it going?
0:14>> It's going good, man. I just wanted to inform you, you know, since you moved away from the East Coast. Like, this is
0:18the first week like it got like it's cold in the mornings. My I'm I'm fighting my uh my nine-year-old because he still wants to wear shorts to school.
0:26like he hates pants, but like it's like 40° in the morning. Like, dude, we got to wear pants. So, yesterday I put him
0:32in pants and he comes home from school off the bus and he's walking in shorts.
0:37I'm like, "What the hell, man?" His This dude packed shorts in his book bag and put them on and he's got the school.
0:45What are we doing, man? But this is cold season, man.
0:48>> My my parents are visiting right now and I was we were walking. We took my daughter to her little preschool
0:55daycare. Um, and we're walking back and it was just like stunningly beautiful here. And uh, I was going to comment like, "Oh, you know, isn't it nice that
1:04it's" But I was like, "You know what?
1:05It's still probably pretty nice back east. It's it's it's you know, it's only October." But yeah, you're right. The weather turns. When it turns, it turns.
1:12But it's 70 and sunny here. So, uh, >> yeah, I'm jealous. [laughter] Yeah.
1:17>> Yeah. Um, that is one of the perks. the uh let's so we're gonna be talking through the 10 game slate. I feel like
1:25last week we went through and we were like, you know, I kind of like this game environment. I kind of like this game
1:29environment. I'm curious just kind of before we dig into game by game, your thoughts on the game environments this week. Is my I mean I mean you know you
1:39just look at the spreads it's like this team's favored by seven, this team's favored by seven, this team's favor by 14 and a half, you know. So, it seems
1:47like maybe the game environments are a little bit shakier this week, but there's lots of teams that look kind of interestingly set up. I Are you viewing
1:55that similarly or are there game environments you're more into?
1:58>> Yeah, 100%. I mean, we've got the one game under a field goal and it's Houston 49ers with like the 40point total
2:05>> and then so I I am I've talked about this before like I am someone that's more like a small field single entry
2:11player. I like to stack games up to try to get the games right.
2:15>> This week I probably will will mute my play to a degree in that and probably just play more large field uh team
2:22environment stuff like team stack stuff.
2:23So I think just calibrate to the slate a little bit. But that's my initial thought is I actually do um on the
2:29website I I like share my player pool and the games I'm I'm onslotting as well and this week I only have three games in
2:35the in the actual >> games. That makes sense. Yeah, it's it's tough. It's tough to onslaught. Um the the first game that I wanted to touch
2:47on, well, let's let's mix it up. What?
2:49So, we'll get to the Giants Eagles in a second. Um I had the cover boy in the walkthrough was from the Giants Eagles,
2:55but let's talk Bears Ravens to start because I assume that's one of the games >> that you're interested in kind of
3:00onslaught. Yeah. So, talk to me about about where you're at on that game.
3:04Yeah, I mean this is a game that I'm treating as kind of a fresh start for the Baltimore Ravens on both sides of
3:10the ball to be honest. I mean they've got so many guys that were injured before their by-week and they're getting so many guys back that even the
3:18defensive stuff I think adds a lot of wrinkles into this matchup. You know, we saw right before the buy they got Kyle
3:24Hamilton and Marlon Humphrey back.
3:26They're going to get Rocoan Smith and Shidobia Woo back. They're never getting Mabuk back. So like that's just a huge loss
3:31>> which is a big loss for them.
3:32>> Yeah. They're that's just never gonna be something that they solve probably and could be a problem. And then on offense,
3:39obviously, they're getting the big piece. Lamar looks like he's gonna be back. He was a full practice today. I know that they saw said today that it's
3:45up to Lamar uh tomorrow to see how he responds basically. But if he can go, then he's going to go. They going to get
3:51Ronnie Stanley back at left tackle. And then low-key, like we don't really give him a lot of love, but they're getting
3:57Patrick Cart back, too, which is a significant factor for this offense, who hasn't played all season this year. Uh, so we're probably going to see a lot
4:04more 21 personnel, a lot more 22 personnel, uh, from the Baltimore Ravens. I mean, last year with Ricard on the field, Derrick Henry ran for over
4:13six yards per carry. Uh, so it's it's a big deal getting him back as well. So, I feel like we're going to see at least
4:19offensively the kind of true version of the Baltimore Ravens offense. Probably with reduced Lamar rushing. I would assume he's not going to run around like real
4:29aggressively off the hamstring injury.
4:31And then defensively, I'm at least like waiting to be seen. Like I'd even put a lot of uh Baltimore Ravens defensive
4:38metrics in the worksheet this week because I don't know how true any of them are.
4:43>> Yeah.
4:43>> Like moving forward. Like I don't just know how applicable they are.
4:47I think that the stuff around the the pass rush is is true. Like I I think that Matabk not being there I think
4:55they're down Broadarch Washington too, right?
4:58>> Um so the pass rush stuff does seem like what we can count on. I think secondarywise they're in much better
5:06shape, but one of the things that jumped out to me is that, okay, you've got a Ravens team that is not they're blitzing
5:14and they're still not generating pressure. Um, and they just have a really bad pass rush now without Mavique. And then Caleb Williams has a
5:233.23 second time to throw, which is the slowest in the NFL, an NFL that includes Justin Fields. And so I'm like that that
5:33to me is a matchup element that I think we can count on where you need like I really think with Caleb Williams I'm
5:40kind of treating him a little fieldsy like give me matchups where he can have a bunch of time to throw and then we
5:49have ceiling now he kind of like Fields can flop in matchups kind of like Knicks too like these guys the really low
5:56success rates like they can >> they can still burn you even in good spots, but there is ceiling. It's worth chasing. Um, especially if other people
6:03aren't going to be on it. And I like a Dunce a lot here. That's I mean, if you look at the way he's being used, he has
6:10a 14.2 AOT. Uh, he's 81st percentile in open score. He's got a 25% target share, 22% targets per out run. So, he's this
6:21clear downfield threat, but also the clear number one wide receiver. He's been really good against man. The Ravens are playing man 36% uh of the time,
6:30which is fourth highest in the NFL. And he's been the go-to guy when they've had time to throw. This is like very small
6:37sample, but I enjoyed it. Uh 22 routes with uh where Caleb Williams has had over two and a half seconds to throw
6:44against man coverage. And in that sample, a Dunay has a 46% targets per out run, a 17.3 AOT, and 5.14 yards per
6:52route run. you know, only but it's like one of those things where it's like you you're talking like a matchup that could
6:57help dial up like one or two extra deep shots. Great. You know, like and and then the overall stuff is like this is a
7:05good game environment um where both teams should be able to push each other.
7:09This is not a good defense. They will have regardless of the coverage he's there should be time to throw here.
7:14Regardless of the time to throw, Odun is the clear number one. So, I I think Odun's um it doesn't look like he's
7:21going to be super popular and a guy that I've been surprised hasn't been projected better, which I I kind of understand cuz he's had two quiet games,
7:27but even in the last two weeks, 17% targets per hour against the Commanders, 22% against the Saints, he had a 21.4
7:33AOT against the Commanders, uh 14.3 against the Saints. So, the same deep usage, doesn't connect, turns in really weak yards per out numbers, 1.07, 1.15.
7:43But he was crushing earlier in the season with a similar role like when he he went off against the Lions 18.3 dot
7:4918.3 ADOT 3.12 yards per hour run. So it's going to be a little bit of a boom bust role. It's a boom bust quarterback.
7:56>> Yes.
7:56>> But um as we talked about there's not that many game environments that really jump out. This is one of them. And I
8:02think you could you play Lamar stuff with the Dunes bringbacks. You know you don't have to stack it with Williams but
8:07I think you certainly can. And uh with KD out Carlson Lovelin I think is in play too. So there there's potential
8:13doubles with the Williams side and maybe you bring back a Flowers or a Henry. So this game there's there's lots of ways
8:18to to play it in DFS or or draft games.
8:23>> Yeah. I mean, uh, you look at Dunay, I think he got that big salary bump after every, you know, the the first two
8:30weeks, uh, the weeks two and three, you know, uh, we we played him in week two and then week three kind of everyone
8:35went to him and I'm I'm I'm convinced that both I don't know exactly how the algorithm goes for the salary setting,
8:41but I'm I'm convinced like previous week ownership is part of it. Like >> Oh, it is. I don't know that for a fact,
8:47I guess, but I'm that's what I think.
8:49>> So like he was like heavily >> Yeah. Like remember uh we talked about playing against the Lions in week two.
8:55He he goes off and not that we like dictated this like he just hit and then you know gamers when a guy hits like
9:00they're like well I want to go back to that guy. Uh and he was really popular and kind of just like he he he I think
9:06it was the Raider was that the Raiders game they played next or was the Cowboys game right?
9:10>> Cowboys he had a touchdown. Um, so he didn't like flop, he had a touchdown in the Raiders game. Like he had a had a
9:17touchdown, but like the yardage was down and like people kept playing him and then you know his he people kept going
9:22back to him and then he started not to score touchdowns and you saw some of the the floor that came along with Caleb
9:28because >> Caleb is still the number one quarterback or not number one dead last I should say. He has the highest in
9:34accurate throw rate still off target throw rate. He is the worst quarterback in terms of completion percentage versus uh expected completion percentage. The
9:44difference and that's gone directly to a dunus 10% CPOE. It's pretty bad. Yeah.
9:50>> And you'd expect a guy like a dunes day to be hurt by that because of where he draws his targets, right? Like he's not
9:54getting a lot of these screens and like free squares that like come with a high success rate. So the past four weeks,
10:0026.9% of his targets have been inaccurate throws. Uh and that's what's really hurt him. And then you saw some uh stuff this week people have been
10:08citing like out of the buy the first three target share stuff for a doomsday.
10:11I'm not so necessarily worried about that because the Ravens could push the Bears into like a different style of offense than what they've run out of the
10:19buy where Ben Johnson is actually called more Ben Johnson type of offense. More under center play action pre- snap motion >> and he's trying to hide Caleb a little
10:28bit I think uh because you know he's now had a month sample of like wow like he's still making these mistakes let me try
10:35to work around this and insulate him which is what he should do. I think he's trying to hide Caleb a little, but I
10:39also think he's doing like, you know, he tried to hide golf a little too. Like he's doing the Ben Johnson stuff where
10:45their their play actions up, their motions up, they're running more effectively. Like I think this was always kind of the plan. I think he even
10:52had a quote that like they were simplifying some stuff before and they're not simplifying it now that they're kind of they're using all the
10:59you know the types of motion and stuff that he you know this is like the full experience now.
11:04>> Yeah. Yeah. And he's always what's crazy is Williams has been bad worse with that stuff when it's kind of a cheat code for
11:09everyone else. I don't know what this means for Caleb Williams, but [laughter] >> I think I'm I have an inkling.
11:16>> Yeah.
11:17>> But [laughter] on on plays at Motion, he averages two two and two yards less per pass attempt, which is like unheard of
11:24like for quarterbacks. Like these are supposed to be cheat codes for guys. Uh like you said, I think he's more comfortable though like not in the in
11:30rhythm stuff. like he wants to hold. He definitely is >> like he wants to hold the ball. He wants to extend plays.
11:36>> He turns stuff down. Like he he's looking for bigger plays. I But I think >> okay, you know, it's not ideal. Like
11:44that's a flaw, but this is a spot where I think you can >> take advantage of that. Like >> in some ways, like that's good for this
11:51matchup where I think the Ravens like the secondary is actually okay now, but the their ability to pressure is is the
11:56problem. So, like take your time, you know, like being able to look >> to me it comes down to the run defense,
12:03right?
12:03>> Like cuz if the Bears are able to come out and do what they've done these past two weeks in the run game, then that
12:10allows them to play that style of game.
12:12But if like we get like the Ravens get the ball first, they go down and score, Bears have a they get they get a stop,
12:19Bears have to punt, we get RA, then we're now we're now we're forcing the Ben Johnson to come out of this stuff
12:25that worked. Maybe they've had they've peaked at a 68% pass rate this year, which was uh right in line with expectations.
12:35Um their their next highest expected pass rate was only 67%.
12:40>> Poe there. Against the Lions, they had a 65% expected and pass 64% of the time.
12:46>> Um >> cuz that's what we're looking for cuz since the since the Lions game, they've just been in control. They've kind of
12:52just been in control game. So like or like hanging around. Uh because the Commanders game was a little bit more back and forth. Uh
12:58>> I mean I think if they have like a 72% expected pass rate, they probably abandon the run. But I think the Ravens
13:03really got to put it on him. Like this could be this could be a shootout like kind of like the uh the Packers and the
13:09Cowboys when they went, you know, 4040 tie. Um neither team like really got pass heavy. They both scored a bunch of
13:18points, but you know, the expected pass rates weren't out of control and that the pass rates weren't out of control. I
13:22think we could, you know, especially if the Ravens play things through Henry um and play things a little bit balanced, which they probably will with Lamar
13:30still not fully being cleared yet back, >> right? And Ricard back uh and the and the Bears not being that great against
13:38the run.
13:39>> The Ravens have not been good against the run. Again, they're healthier in the back end more than they are up front.
13:45So, uh I'm not sure how good that, you know, these numbers are. Maybe the numbers underrate them as a run defense,
13:52but I don't think by like a ton. So, I'm kind of intrigued by the Bears. I I'm just like weirdly into the Bears this
13:59week, honestly. Like I I doesn't feel great. But I >> DeAndre Swift, if you told me that he was going to have, you know, 55% of the
14:08carries here for sure, I'd be into it.
14:10Um my concern is that Manunga had 33% of the carries last week. Uh Swift was down to 48%.
14:17>> And so I'm really dependent Yeah, and I I need efficiency on Swift. So, he's he's a little concerning to me for that
14:24reason, but I think the Bears will run the ball well here.
14:26>> Yeah, he's been a little nicked up. Last week he had like a calf like through the week and then this week he's had a groin
14:31and missed a little bit of time as well.
14:34Um Bears are big outside zone run team.
14:37Ravens actually as bad as they have been in bulk like have played outside zone really well this year.
14:42>> Okay.
14:43>> Um they're they're eighth uh in yards per carry out to running backs on those.
14:47It might not matter. I mean, the Bears might have just found the secret sauce, though, like through the buy and and
14:51adjustments. That's why I think this is fun just it's fun to see like kind of what what's sticky uh for them. And if
14:56they get pushed into a game state, what where they're chasing points, what how do they calibrate? What's the adjustment? Because we really haven't
15:02seen it for a month uh from them. Uh since that uh >> one thing I will say with the we we
15:10haven't seen it yet, so we really don't know what they look like. And I am noticing that the Lions when they get
15:15pushed into negative game script are way more stubborn than they used to be um in terms of like still running the ball
15:23like like suboptimally.
15:24>> And and I've always been impressed with the Lions not doing that. And so maybe that was a Ben Johnson thing. Maybe, you
15:32know, the reason that they were willing to just chuck it when they fell behind, like there's that one game where the
15:38Ravens just like put it on the Lions, like scored like 28 points in the first half or whatever, and the Lions are just
15:44like, "All right, like we're about to lose. This is about to get embarrassing, but we're going to try to win this
15:50game." And so I I it it's a good point that maybe we haven't seen. There's a version of the Bears we just haven't
15:57seen yet where they just they just chuck it non-stop because they fall behind early. Um, which would be kind of interesting. And I mean, I know that
16:04would maybe not be good for Caleb, but it would potentially be very good for Adun and Loveland.
16:10DJ Moore I have trouble getting excited about, but >> yeah. Yeah, >> it's hard. It's very hard. Yeah, Lovelin being up this week uh with if I didn't
16:18see too officially Cole Cole was out, but it looked like he was trending towards it.
16:22>> Yeah, I'm assuming he's out.
16:24>> So, I mean, you get him at at just like a really cheap cost. uh this week in general, tight end is going to be
16:29probably the most wide open it's ever going to be. And we talked about last week doing Trey McBride plus one of the
16:34punts and that ended up winning the Millie. Uh I played a little bit of it too. I just had the wrong guy. I had
16:39some Gatsson, too. Uh but not I had no Herbert. Um and that game everyone in the game except Denver Broncos defense
16:49>> was from that game, but I didn't have Gadston.
16:52Ah, yeah. Yeah, the Millie Millie winner had McBride and Gadston.
16:56>> Wow.
16:57>> And uh this week though, it's kind of wide open. The two expensive guy, well, the the expensive guys on the slate and
17:02I think Goddard's going to get in the mix now uh potentially with AJ Brown being out. Uh you know, Ferguson's price
17:08has gone way up and he still kind of has this usage that feels like it's fragile like to pay top dollar for, but uh we'll
17:16get to that game. And then you have KD in like a matchup that's not good, but like probably has some flop lag of like
17:21Kyle Shanahan didn't get him a catch last week for the first time. Yeah. So, probably has something dialed up for him
17:26uh this week. But then it's like wide open. Like you're going to see we're going to see a lot of Daltton Schultz.
17:30We're probably going to see uh Loveland.
17:32Um a lot of cheap dudes, a lot of it's a big pay down tight end week because gamers want to jam in the two hammers at
17:39running back and Jamar Chase now. So, it's probably be cheap tight end stuff.
17:45Well, Isaiah likely is 2,600 and it's coming off 85% route participation. Now, to your point on Ricard maybe that cuz they were cuz
17:55Andrews was at 73%. So, they were in 12 a ton.
17:59>> Um, and this was before the buy, but you know, that's a lot of routes, man. And he I know he hasn't been targeted like
18:07at all. He's peaked at a 9% target per >> Yeah. Right. Right. So, I don't know. I mean, we we we saw likely that, you
18:18know, they were excited about him. They almost signed him and then he got hurt like right as he was about to sign his
18:22contract. So, 2600 for a a tight end in a game environment that we really like. I >> I think with Lamar or maybe as a bring
18:32back on Caleb stuff, I I think he's kind of in play.
18:35>> Yeah, he's got some touchdown equity. Um we've seen it before usage usage in the Reds on both guys. Honestly, you just
18:42get get a guess who's going to score touchdowns, but I don't have a problem with anyone punting with either of those
18:47guys. Not Not that Andrews is a punt, but uh plugging one of those guys in. I I think this slate's wide open though
18:53for tight end, so like if you want to punt with likely and even if he doesn't hit, I don't know if it if it kills you.
18:58>> I'm not sure it does. I mean, the chalk is going to be Daltton Schultz. So, yes, you know, you could maybe survive. You
19:06get five points out of likely. It might be fine. Um, >> right, right, right, right.
19:11>> So, on the on the Ravens side, you know, you have Lamar was absolutely cooking through the first three games, falls
19:18apart against the Chiefs, right? He was 26th percentile on EPA per play in that game is doesn't play. We think maybe
19:24it's just like, oh, they're they're pulling him, it's over, but he's actually hurt, misses a bunch of time, comes back that I saw, you know, the
19:32report he got in a full practice, but then they also said, if he can't go, Snoop Huntley will start. So, like I'm
19:37like, "Oh, there's still some risk he's not playing." So, I guess he's clearly not like fully 100%, but obviously the season's on the line. They need him.
19:44He's going to play.
19:46>> That doesn't give you a ton of confidence though in like going to Lamar for DFS if he's not fully right. But
19:53obviously, the ceiling is always really high with Lamar. They get a Bears team that hasn't had a good pass rush. Um,
20:01>> he can still get there as a passer.
20:03That's why like if this was Lamar like four years ago, I think I'd be a lot more scared if like we just had to have
20:08a drop back Lamar game.
20:10>> But Lamar with Monin against this defense, I think can still get there as a passer.
20:16>> And they play a ton of man and Flowers is cooked against man. So it the stack I mean is so easy. You know, obviously you
20:23got to throw in likely for the double, but but you know, Flowers Lamar um is pretty pretty strong single stack. Um,
20:31but then the other way to play it is to play Henry, which I think, you know, this is a week where Henry is not going
20:36to be very popular, has a always has a high ceiling and people are paying up like a lot for uh, you know, for
20:45Jonathan Taylor's 9500 and and is a great play. Like I'm not saying he's not, but he's going to be chalk >> chalk at 9500. So
20:52>> they're both 10k on FanDuel over Yeah.
20:56Like you it's you can on DraftKings.
20:59I've built a couple items with both just to see what they look like or like what you could play with. FanDuel, it's like
21:03almost impossible to play both of them.
21:07Like it's it's very ugly because on because you know on DraftKings you can make some punts at receiver and PPR your
21:13way to like good scores where you don't have that out on FanDuel.
21:17>> Yeah.
21:17>> Like like Jay Jay and Null on FanDuel.
21:22>> Yeah. When you say both, do you mean Taylor and Bejon?
21:25>> Yes. Yeah. Sorry.
21:26>> Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
21:27>> Yeah. It's because they're both over 10K and it's like because like you know those punt plays at receiver like aren't
21:32as good on on fan. It's not as optimal on FanDuel because you don't get the full catch points.
21:37>> Right. Right.
21:40But yeah, I I mean, yeah, Henry Henry stands out to me a lot uh this week. And I'm not ready to believe the Bears are a
21:47good run defense either coming out of the buy because even the Commanders, who they stopped >> in week uh six couldn't run on the
21:55Cowboys last week. So, it's like, man, how real is this? Uh and then the Saints just are unfunctional. Like, right, like
22:03they they functionally can't run with Alvin Kamar. They lose Kendry Miller and they lose Eric McCoy in that game and Eric McCoy last year when he came off
22:11the field was a disa like their run game was a disaster when they lost him last year. So I'm not ready to say like this
22:16the Bears run defense has turned the corner either just uh with these two games out of the buy. This will be a
22:21great test to find that out.
22:24>> Yeah. No, they will be tested. But I think this is like one of those games where I think I want to I want to have
22:31probably multiple ways that I've played this game >> um over the course I usually I've been playing six lineups for the last four or
22:38five weeks and I'll I would like to have like two lineups with this game at least played different ways because I I think
22:46it's a good game environment. I can see it going a few different ways and we don't know like there's uncertainty here
22:52about like >> who these teams are right now which is good you know the field is the field's not going to know and we don't no one
22:59knows like truly no one knows but there's upside for Flowers there's upside for Dunes there's upside for Henry >> there's upside for both quarterbacks
23:06>> um so yeah this is a fun one >> yep >> let's let's go to the Giants uh at Eagles Giants have an applied team total of 18
23:16And uh the Eagles >> and he was 16 last week.
23:20>> Yeah, that's true. [laughter] And and we and I was like, "Ah, this game environment sucks." And you know what? I
23:25was right. Turn off the game after three quarters. And I was right. It's just that fourth quarter changed everything.
23:32Um the Eagles 25 and a half implied team total. So, you know, the Giants embarrass the Eagles on national television and uh then two weeks later
23:43they come to Philadelphia and they're pretty big dogs while the Eagles get back Jaylen Carter who didn't play in that game and Quinan Mitchell who was
23:52injured in that game. So, this sets up like as kind of, you know, a revenge game for the Eagles. Of course, it is
23:58another revenge game opportunity for Saquon Barkley. This his fourth revenge game uh since leaving the Giants, but still. And you have Jaylen Herz came
24:07alive last week against the Vikings when I another thing I was wrong about last week. I thought Herz would be in trouble
24:12against the the Vikings blitz. He had a really low success rate, but doesn't matter if you hit big plays downfield, which he did. So, you know, the the
24:23passing game's coming alive a little bit. Meanwhile, the Giants defense uh don't have the final injury report, but Brian Burns, Pulson Adibbo at
24:33cornerback, and Javon Holland at safety all missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. So, I mean, Burns turning out >> Ado Ado and Holland missed practice
24:43today. They're expecting them both to be out and Burns practiced today.
24:47>> Okay. Okay. Yeah, him he would he would be the biggest, but um still two guys in the secondary. uh being out would would
24:56be pretty bad. So now the problem is that the Eagles probably don't have AJ Brown who hasn't practiced all week.
25:02They haven't ruled out yet, but they have a buy in week nine. I I'm assuming he's gone. But from a DFS perspective,
25:08now we have Devonte Smith, Dallas Goddard, and Herz is a potential doubles there, which is pretty interesting. But I I flag Saquon Barkley here where the
25:19Giants run defense is bad. He's a big home favorite.
25:26His best rush yards over expected of the entire season was against the Giants, but he only had 12 carries because the
25:33Eagles were trailing throughout that game and, you know, were were forced to abandon the run. They're unlikely to be forced to abandon the run this week. You
25:44know, in part when you look at the the line, but also when you look at their defense just being a lot healthier. Um,
25:51so I don't know, man. I I know it's been rough for for Barkley, but he is it's like him and Henry are the two really
25:58high upside backs that allow you to maybe beat, you know, like how do I beat Bean and Taylor? You need them to only
26:07score one touchdown. Um, yeah, but that's possible.
26:10>> It is.
26:10>> And and then and then you have these guys go off where you and you've saved a little salary and >> you got off the chalk. these guys are
26:18going to be less popular by pretty big margin than the top two running backs.
26:22So, these are the pivots that really jump out to me this week, Henry and Barkley. I made Barkley the cover boy
26:27because it's kind of like if this if he can't do it here, then I don't know that, you know, 2025 is just kind of a
26:34lost season. like this. This is a really really like I I talked last week about oh, they're going to have to pivot to
26:38the to the run against the against the Vikings and maybe that helps Barkley get going. But Brian Flores stacked the box
26:47on Barkley. He had a 50% stack box rate last week. He took Barkley away. He said, "You can't beat me deep." Which
26:54was turned out not to be true. But uh that's the way he played it. And the the Giants didn't play it like that two
27:00weeks ago. they they only stacked the box 25% of the time against Barkley and he was efficient. So, um and you know
27:07with the Eagles passing game coming to life a little bit I think and and the Giants out multiple guys in the
27:12secondary now I I don't think they can make that dare. I don't think the Giants are in a position to say, "Okay, beat us
27:18deep." Because they they know they will.
27:20So, yeah, I think this is a it's a risky spot. Um it doesn't feel comfy, but I think Barkley could go nuts. Yeah,
27:28especially when you watch Kamani Vidal run all over the Vikings last night.
27:32You're like, "Oh, thanks."
27:34We talked last week about playing Saquon. It's like, "Yeah, you know, look at the Vikings. They haven't stopped any. Look at all these people." And
27:39then, you know, uh to me, he's still like he doesn't There's nothing physically when I watch Saquon Barkley where I'm like, "Oh, this dude looks bad
27:48like or he looks washed." Uh he even had two nice >> line's not as dominant.
27:52>> Well, that's what it is. And you know what's funny is you have that narrative in place too because I don't know if you
27:57saw like Jordan Milada talked about like uh the first game between these teams.
28:00He played really bad and he said like he's like he's like on a mission this week. He's like talked about like that
28:05was like my career. Uh I'm I'm out here to like he hasn't played good this year either. So we probably want Cam Jurgens
28:13on the inside. It feels like one of these Eagles interior uh offensive line is out. Like they just can't get all
28:18these guys on the field together. But, you know, uh I'm with you on like the the game script. Barkley opened that
28:24game, the first two carries that game, he had he had 18 yard run and a 13 yard run and then had 10 carries or 27 yards
28:31the rest of the way. Um it's just one of those things. It's been an inefficient run game. But when I said when I watch
28:37him, I don't see anything physically wrong with him, at least me. And that's just, you know, people may disagree.
28:43That's subjective. But we had two running backs entering last week who also like had really poor metrics running the football and exploded last
28:53week. The first one was Christian McAffrey. Uh and then the second one was looked really good >> and Jir Gibbs was the second guy like
29:00but when you were watching like maybe McAffrey people were like oh he's lost a step. Gibbs like when I was watching I
29:05was like it still looks fine. He's just not having any production. It's going to happen eventually and then he freaking has a 90 yard touchdown run. Yeah. It's
29:11like like I when I watch Saquon still and people be like this is cope. It's pure copium. I get it. But like when I
29:16watch Saquon though I'm like it's not I don't think it's a Saquon problem. So we're just looking for one game to kind
29:23of flip this and turn it around this.
29:25>> No. And what I mean the way he was he was just like hitting these really long runs and it was like crazy last year.
29:31It's like this isn't sustainable. This is isn't sustainable. And then it was sustainable for 2024 and then 2025 was just the regression year I guess. But
29:39it's, you know, he's been he was exploding for game, you know, where it's not, I don't know. He was so
29:49consistently doing it last year that it felt like he was inevitable, but what he was actually doing was, you know, within
29:57the game, ripping off these long runs.
30:00So, it wasn't like he was he was not Josh Jacobsing his way, you know, to to a league winning season last year. It's
30:07just like kind of like >> chunk gain, chunk gain, chunk gain.
30:10There was some of that, but you know, a lot of it was these these longer runs.
30:14And >> I think he can he can recapture that this week. You know, this is going to seem really gross, but like isn't it
30:24kind of the Quinchan Judkinsesque play from they're paying more for it, but like this dude's at home, big favorite.
30:32They're going to lean on him like that.
30:34and and Judkins was was big-time chalk last week. Cheaper, >> but goes nuts and, you know, gets in the end zone what, three times. So, you
30:44know, >> yeah, I mean, you don't you just need the touchdowns basically. You don't even need Saquon to go cra like he doesn't
30:49need to have the 60 yard touchdowns. All you care about is the touches and the touchdowns >> really, >> right? Like,
30:56>> so yeah, I mean >> Judkins was terrible last week.
31:00>> Well, at the goal line, he was pretty sweet.
31:02>> Yeah. Oh, no. Yeah. Then I mean listen he had that that the 46 yard was was hot too but like objectively if you just
31:09looked at his metrics though from last week you be like oh my god this guy was awful. [laughter] >> Yeah. I mean he's
31:17look so it's this like I guess what I'm saying is if you zoom out and you just think like things we know create running
31:24back spike weeks you know. Yes.
31:26>> Big favorite at home >> would would be one of the good offensive line bad run defense. So, I just, you
31:31know, let's let's kind of remove the expectations from our mind a little bit heading into the season. Last year's maybe last year's too much to hope for,
31:39but this is just like kind of a classic good spot for a running back. And um you know, additional addition to the uh the
31:47rushing matchup stuff. I I think the Eagles will move the ball just fine through the air here. So, I I like I
31:53like Herz stacks, too. Like, if if you don't have Barkley, I think Herz doubles with AJ Brown. A lot of people just just
31:59fast forward to that part. [laughter] These guys are talking about Saquon again. This copia just >> I hated Seaquan last year. I'm not I'm
32:09not a big Squan guy.
32:11>> No, no, I just Listen, it's like I said, this is why it's called the worksheet and the walkthrough. It's like it's the
32:15same thing. You're showing the work.
32:16You're walking through things. Um and this is our first rematch of the year.
32:20We have two of them actually this week, but like you're curious to see like the calibration from like the first game
32:25from the second game. This one has moving pieces because of the players that are going to be available and unavailable compared to the first
32:31matchup. But I mean that first matchup the the Giants were very manheavy. They didn't blitz Jaylen Herz at all. Like are they going to feel like they have to
32:39do something like the Ravens? Like we talked about the Ravens a minute ago.
32:41Like does like the Ravens and their Zachary Zack Ore like was because of the state of their secondary was trying to
32:47manufacture a pass rush and do stuff like that. Do we think the Giants have to try to try to do anything like that?
32:53Does that happen? the same flip side like Vic Vangio called the most anti- Vicio game ever when these teams played on Thursday night and I don't know if
33:01it's because the large uh the pieces are but like they blitzed Dart 46% of the time is their highest blitz rate of the
33:07season. Their next closest was 28.9%.
33:10They played man coverage on over 50% of the snaps against Dart. Their next closest was 34%. Like these are all things I just don't think are going to
33:17happen again. you know, getting Quin Mitchell back and, you know, having Jayl and Carter back stop the run better because Scatterabo ran down their
33:24throats in the first game. I don't know if that happens uh in this rematch as well, but it's always fun when you have
33:30these kind of divisional rematches and you get to see kind of the doover uh in these spots uh and what we're expecting.
33:37Sometimes people will just box score chase, right, uh from the first game.
33:40They'll be like, "Well, I'm just going to jam in GD. I'm going to jam in Scataboo because those are the dudes
33:44that hit in the first matchup, right?"
33:46like everything everything's shifting though and everything's moving.
33:50>> Yeah, the Giant side I'm not that into in this game. Um even though you know obviously they they crushed the Eagles
33:56the last time but Scataboo was down to 50% carry share last week which was kind of where around where he's been the last
34:04three weeks but um Tracy Tracy's carries ticked up to 28%.
34:11>> How many yards would you have gotten on the Tracy touchdown? Like do you think you could have gotten >> I'm not picturing it with just it's just
34:18a huge hole.
34:19>> Don't you? Yeah. He even when he got to the second level like did this like he looked around like [laughter] like he's
34:26like there's like no one near him. I think I think I would have got I think we're realistically on that run I would
34:31have gotten like 13 yards and I got like >> 13 yards.
34:39>> You're throwing footballs last week.
34:40You're going to be doing run. You're going to run. It was It was funny though cuz like he got past the line of
34:44scrimmage and like you never see like the He like looked around. Oh, nobody there's nobody by me. Like oh nobody's here.
34:53>> Oh man. 13 yard. You're just going to get tackled down from behind.
34:57>> Yeah. Yeah.
34:59>> You'd be looking around and someone would be there.
35:01>> I I'd have to just go down. I pop the wheel. [snorts] >> You just slide.
35:08>> I went back and played uh USFPL. Uh two years ago we played 35 and older. We actually won nationals in Florida, but I
35:16I had lost weight and stuff and uh I my buddy's like, "You want to come back?"
35:19I'm like, "We'll go to nationals." And uh dude, you just don't get faster when you get older.
35:23>> No, you just don't. Speed speed never comes back. [laughter] >> It's a good lesson.
35:29>> Yeah. I told my son that was it for me, man. It was like It was like uh Bill Murray in Space Jam at the end. I said,
35:34"We're out of here." Like that was it.
35:36No need to do this again.
35:40>> Yeah. I don't want to I don't want to I don't even want to know what the four because if you don't know you don't know
35:44you know >> but if you if you know >> but yeah with and then you know getting Jaylen Carter back uh with Jaylen Carter
35:50on the field Eagles are allowing 3.7 yards per carry to running backs 1.02 02 yards before contact on those runs. With
35:59him off the field, 4.9 yards per carry to running backs, 2.15 yards before contact. Significant difference.
36:07>> Good pass rusher, too. So, I mean, he's just a he's an important part and just wasn't there. Like, he he just didn't
36:13play last time and and has been back for a couple weeks or he was back last week, so this will be a second game. I'm not
36:19playing Dart, but Dart has like I always kind of comp Dart to Drake May for rookie year and like he has just that
36:24gene. Like he finds a way to fantasy points somehow. It's never like always great. You never look at the box scores
36:30with Jackson Dart. He's just gonna He finds a way though to get there.
36:34>> Yeah, because he takes too much too many hits like May. They both are taking way too many hits. Please stop getting hit,
36:40guys.
36:41>> We We like you. You have long careers.
36:44>> Please. Please.
36:45>> Yeah. But uh No, Dart. I yeah, I mean I I wrote up Wel Robinson as, you know, being kind of clearly the guy here. Um
36:57Theo Johnson ran a bunch of routes.
36:59That's that's somewhat interesting. But >> not a ton of interest for me on the uh the Giants side. It's more it's more
37:05about the Eagles kind of looking much better than they did the last time these teams played is how I'm I'm approaching.
37:11>> And Devonte Smith has already been hot.
37:13I mean, he he has three wide he has three wide receiver one scoring games uh over the past five and one of them was
37:20this first matchup when he probably should have had their he had the 89 yarder that it was wide open and Herz
37:26overthrew him. So we have no AJ Brown and Noah Debo. I mean big time spot for Devonte Smith. Since they acquired AJ
37:35Brown, he has run 207 routes with AJ Brown off the field. So pretty good sample. Like sometimes when we have these splits, you're like, "Oh, it's
37:44like a one game worth or something." We had 207 route sample and on those plays, he's been targeted on uh 28 and a half%
37:50of his routes, 2.51 yards per route run.
37:54So like firmly in wide receiver, one usage and play for Devonte Smith.
38:00>> Love it.
38:01>> Good player, too. People forget like how dominant he was in college, like just because he plays Brown. Like >> elite player. Like this is a front end
38:09wide receiver player. for sure. Um they also forget because the Eagles just don't pass.
38:16>> Yeah. Well, that's the trouble like you know Dagel initially when we pitched this like talking about triples. I'm like dude you can't ever do triples with
38:22these guys. They just don't have the pass value, >> right?
38:24>> But now when anytime you remove one of these guys from the infrastructure, the other two guys absorb it. Like John
38:31Dson's not going to have a 15% target share here.
38:34>> No, he's not. No, [laughter] he's not.
38:36Johnny Wilson's still on the team.
38:38Maybe. Maybe.
38:40I think he's out he's out for the year, right?
38:43>> Just he's he's like literally the next I mean it gets both in so quick.
38:46>> But we always love when they're missing a piece because it's so close.
38:49>> For sure. Yeah, because it just condenses. It doesn't >> Yeah, there's no one else.
38:53>> Um All right, Bill.
38:55>> Casey Washington isn't getting these targets like [laughter] like when like like Mooney's missing. It's like I don't do anything here. So,
39:01>> they just resigned Travis Fulgum to the active 53.
39:04>> Yeah, forever. [laughter] >> Um Bill's implied team total here. They got at 27. Um, Panthers are not uh not going to be in this one. It looks like
39:1619 and a half for them. Uh, they're starting Andy Dalton. Honestly, like the way I I was looking at this, like if you
39:24wanted to put up the most points possible, you just pass all over this Panthers uh defense that doesn't have a pass rush. Um,
39:33they they're not blitzing at a super high rate. Uh the the Bills have protected well. Uh the Panthers are defending the run well now, but they're
39:43still, you know, they still can't get to the passers. So like Josh Allen theoretically set up for a big time game
39:48here, but I think the Bills just do run the ball >> and and kind of they're not worried about the Panthers run defense and James
39:56Cook gets fed and it's a little bit more limited in passing volume than than ideal for, you know, putting up 50. But
40:03their goal isn't to put up 50. It's to just win. And so they're going to be out in front. And uh I think Dalton's gonna
40:11have a hard time keeping up with Josh Allen. You know, real real bold take there. But I I think that this will be a
40:17more balanced Bills team than we would prefer from from a fantasy point of view, but that they ultimately will be effective. Like I think James Cook,
40:25James Cook I would put on the list of like running backs that give you ceiling that aren't that are pivots off of the
40:33the obvious ceiling plays in in Robinson and and Taylor. I think he's in that mix. Davis was Davis said his his
40:40rushing line is going to be 97 yards and two touchdowns, which felt pretty accurate, >> which would be, you know, definitely
40:47counter to what Carolina's been giving up um to running backs. When you look at these past three games, Bree Hall 11 for
40:5438. Uh Javvante Williams 13 for 29. And then we were like, oh, you know, Javvante back to a pumpkin and then just
41:01immediately bounces back last week. And then Devin Han had 10 runs for 16 yards.
41:05They've been really good against the run.
41:07>> Really good.
41:07>> That that's the thing.
41:08>> And the season long numbers are good now, too. It's not just the the trend recent trends been awesome, but they're
41:13up to third in DVO, 12th in EPA, and first in success rate against the run for the season. And this would be a nice
41:19test too because we know inherently the Bills do want to to run things through the run game. Uh that's what makes this
41:25this matchup interesting in general. So if both teams are able to do what they want to do, then this game is going to
41:30be over in two hours. Like >> yeah, >> uh they're number one and number two in time of possession. The uh 43% of the
41:38yardage gained by the Panthers this year has been rushing. That's the um third highest rate in the league. 39.9% of the
41:45Bills yardage has been gained through rushing. It's the fifth highest rate in the league. And then inversely, the 48% of the yardage allowed by the
41:53Bills has been via rushing. Like they've been awful against the run, they're not going to have Dacoin Jones here either.
41:58So if like they're just like letting this now tandem backfield or you know, whatever Dave Canal wants to sell us, like if they're if Panthers are able to
42:06play their style of football, like this game's going to have a lot of rushing and speed by uh pretty quickly uh by
42:13this one. So, it's it depends on if if Carolina can stop the run and push Josh Allen to actually have to throw. That's
42:18the dynamic where like your Bills guys could get there a little bit, but it's mostly just Josh Allen getting there.
42:23Josh Allen rarely brings guys along with him um because they just play so many guys. Don Concaid would maybe be the one
42:30guy you can try really coax yourself in, especially in this matchup. But >> yeah, but I noted with him, so he's out
42:37last week and um you have Dawson Knox had 77% route participation, which is the highest by a tight end on the Bills
42:46all season. Uh Concade had the previous high at just 63%. I was like, you know, it is interesting, right? Concincaid's out. Knox isn't at 87%,
42:57you know, even even 80 83. He's at 77 because Jackson Haw plays. Jackson Halls was at 23% participation last week and he's been
43:07mixing in throughout the season and I think he's gonna they they like him. I think he's gonna continue to mix in. It
43:13just creates a situation.
43:14>> He's going to be the Knox replacement for sure cuz he's so good. He's a he's a dominant like in the run game.
43:19>> The run game. Yeah.
43:21>> No, for sure. They're going to let Knox walk and then it'll be Dalton Concade% of the rounds next year too.
43:28>> Yeah. People will be drafting Dalton Kate as tight end five.
43:31>> Yeah. But I mean concaid I feel it feels like it first of all it's been so consistent his raw participation's been
43:3860 59 63 57 and 60% this year >> um it's going to it's not changing it's not changing like even if Knox were to
43:47get hurt it wouldn't change they just play they would just play Hawmore I think maybe he get up to 65 or 69 or
43:53something but yeah so it it just makes it more fragile like his his per route stuff has been awesome this year like he
44:00he's tight end one open score. He's tied in one in yards per route run at 2.59.
44:05He's got a 22% targets per out run. It's all really really good, but he just is not going to be out there enough and
44:12they want to run the ball. So, even with this good run defense, I think we're going to see plenty of the the blocking
44:19tight ends. And then, yeah, to your point on the Panthers, like Bills dead last in rushing DVO, 29th in EPA, 24th
44:26in success rate, like the Bills can't stop the run. You you can definitely run on the Bills. Uh Ed Oliver's back, which
44:32helps, but I still think they're going to look to run on on the Bills here. And um they've been a very effective running
44:39team. They got both guys back. It's now way less fun to see them running because we we can't benefit from it with Dowel
44:46as much, but they're still going to do it. And >> does he have any shot to take over, do you think? I mean, we saw it in the
44:53second half last week, but they, you know, Hubard got the contract. They still started Hubard, you know. Is it just turning to Kenneth Walker Sharpet?
45:02>> I think so. Yeah. I mean, maybe over time >> where D's just way more efficient, but then like Hubard is just like the goal
45:08lineback.
45:09>> If you're saying it's week 17, what's the chances, you know, that doubt's taken over? Like he has a chance for
45:15sure. But this week, I don't think so.
45:18>> Um the the other thing with the Panthers is that uh they've really pivoted. So they start the season and they have pass
45:27rates over expected of 02 minus three. On first down they're at 1 1 3. So you know they're kind of doing
45:35they're a normal team. Then against the Patriots the game they lost. They go minus 7 PE then minus 10% against the
45:44Dolphins - 10% against the Cowboys - 1% against the Jets. On first down - 20 - 29 - 255 and -8. Now they've got Andy
45:54Dalton coming in. They're just going to run the ball here. Like they're going to prioritize the run on first down. And I
46:01think you're really really going to have to push the Panthers to get them to to abandon the run. Like really push them.
46:08And the Bills are capable of doing that.
46:10Like they're incredibly capable of it.
46:12But I don't know that they're going to like play that style. Like are they going to win this game by 24 points? So,
46:20they're going to win it comfortably by 10 and never and and control the game the whole time, but it's, you know,
46:27they're not pouring it on. I I kind of think it's it's probably the latter. It could be the former, but um I just I
46:34don't know. I just don't see the the Panthers abandoning the run unless they're really really pushed here, which is always a little thin.
46:42>> Yeah. It's probably like the Saints game, right? Like, you know, that the Bills had so like Allen can get there.
46:48It depends what what Cook's doing in the touchdowns, but you know, the Saints kind of just hung around and were able
46:53to kind of run on them. You know, the Saints that was like the best running Saints game of the season. Um, they
46:59really run on anyone else. So, they're facing a better run team.
47:03>> Carolina's probably going to do that, which is a bummer because I do want to see uh Andy Dalton with T. like what if what
47:11changes there are like you know cuz we this is you know I've talked about Tets's like usage like all year that
47:16just like I don't think he's a marriage with where Bryce Young's comfortable like throwing the football inherently like how he's getting utilized uh
47:24because he's like a big disconnect in like man coverage stuff versus zone coverage stuff which I don't think is indicative really of the player he is. I
47:30think he is better on like in >> you almost think he'd be better against zone like he's kind of this big
47:34possession receiver guy >> and he he can win in contested catches so I get like that part of it but like
47:39you know Bryce Young just doesn't throw outside the numbers man and it's like I'm curious if just Dalton adds something better for T. I just want to
47:47see it. Uh so I'm in actually intrigued by it but I just don't know if we get the volume to chase it from a DFS
47:52perspective. like you're still starting Tet in your season long stuff because again a bunch of teams are on by and like you're not like and the Bills have
47:58been vulnerable to guys you know there's been some big numbers put up on them um you know Diggs Flowers had like huge oh
48:07and London all had monster games against them and they given up touchdowns to guys like Tyreek so but I just don't
48:12know if we get the pass volume because of the state of the Buffalo run defense >> I agree but I like the call I like I
48:20like >> I'm just curious because we don't know I'm Very curious to see if Ted has like you're like, "Oh, he's getting some
48:25different types of targets." Huh. Who who would have thought? Like who would have thought? Maybe it wasn't a >> Yeah, >> we've seen this with Kyler, right? Like
48:33a going the change from Kyler to Jacobe Brassette. I just am curious to see what Dalton brings to the table versus Bryce
48:39Young in terms of what they're running in terms of passing schemes.
48:44>> Yeah. No, I I I like that call. The the other note is that the the Bills will be down. Um you you mentioned Daquin Jones,
48:52but they'll also be without safety Taylor Rap. It looks like >> uh who has not that might be a positive injury. [laughter]
49:00>> Maybe >> Taylor questionable.
49:05>> Both are both are limited this week. So there could be some defensive injuries that make Dalton a little bit less scary
49:13here. And you know, I will say that one of the other things at play is that
49:22um Bryce Young kind of got benched here.
49:26Um he's injured but also benched. It's sort of a both I think. And you have this big pivot to the run. um that pivot
49:37the the funny thing is it actually occurs after the Falcons game which they which they won handily but they have the
49:43the the most fun game from a fantasy perspective really was against the the Cardinals when they're chasing they pass 80% of the time um they don't pivot to
49:52the run super super heavy on first down against the Falcons the following week um but they did only pass 52% of the
49:59time which is their second lowest pass rate of the year so you could kind of mark it um as the beginning there and
50:06then how much of that is related to Bryce Young. They're just like we're sick of this. We're sick of having to just chuck
50:13it with Bryce Young >> and also D >> you know I mean D was so good like why would you like especially those first
50:22two games when they had the real like >> well I guess it would be the uh started against the Dolphins though.
50:28>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The Patriots game is where it was like the shift where they were just like let's simulate to end
50:33>> simulate end. We'll just run and get out of here. If we pass we this game is going to be longer like [laughter]
50:40>> Right. And that's where that's where I'm wondering if like Dalton >> maybe they do have a little more confidence. The problem with this theory
50:47is that Dalton played like crap last week.
50:50>> He did. Well, yeah. And uh yeah, last year he had that like I think his first two starts were decent in matchups. And
50:56then like when they started to play like good teams, it was just like, "Yep, no."
51:00>> Yeah.
51:00>> Yeah.
51:01>> So, I don't know. McMillan, I think there there's guys who I who I like adjust the projection on a little bit
51:08and then I don't play them anyway. And I think McMillan's one of those where I'm going to go in that too.
51:13>> And then I And then I won't play him.
51:15>> Yeah.
51:16>> Um 49ers of Texans. Anything else?
51:20>> No, no, no.
51:22>> 49ers of Texans. Um, as you mentioned, this is one of the games that's actually close in terms of the spread, but not a
51:30particularly fun game environment. Uh, although I will say that on the Texans side, you go against this 49ers defense that's
51:41without Nick Bosa and Fred Warner. And then they also look like they're gonna be down uh Bryce Huffet, Edge, cornerback Diamador Lenor. Both have had
51:50back-to-back DMPS. So, they have additional injuries. They kind of like >> it was impressive like >> Yeah. So yeah, he's gone. But um
51:59>> the Lenor Lenor, do you think Lenor's out?
52:02>> I don't know uh about Lenor. Let's see this afternoon. Well, Huff, they said Huff was going to they expect him to
52:08miss multiple weeks.
52:09>> Okay.
52:11>> Yeah, he's doubtful. Um and Lenor is still questionable, but hasn't practiced. Um, but yeah, I mean like they they held up well last week, the
52:2049ers defense, like way better than I would have thought, but it's kind of, you know, it's like sort of the the duct
52:26tape, you know.
52:27>> Oh, yeah, dude. They are just throwing young young dudes out there.
52:30>> Yeah. So, it could crumble and they suffered additional injuries last week.
52:35So, the Texans, um, Stout has been basically awful or he's played the Titans and a completely banged up Ravens defense. like it's one of [laughter] the
52:45like unless he gets the softest of soft matchups this season, it's really bad because their offensive line sucks. Um, >> and don't forget the Titans game.
52:55>> The Titans game was six to nothing going into the fourth quarter. [laughter] >> I for I did forget that. That's so bad.
53:03Yeah. So, anyway, I guess this is all leading to Daltton Schultz is going to be chalk this week. And I think it's
53:07fine. I think it's fine.
53:10>> It's fine.
53:10>> He's 3,300. This is a really, really banged up 49ers defense and targets have to go somewhere. Jaden Higgins not earning targets. Xavier Hutchinson
53:20comically not earning targets. Uh Jaylen Null probably starting in the slot with Christian Kirk out again.
53:27>> Mhm.
53:27>> He kind of is earning targets. I think maybe, you know, okay, but I don't know that I want to play him in DFS. Like is
53:32there enough ceiling? It's it's really coming down to Daltton Schultz who's had targets targets per out runs over the last three games of 23 25 26% and he's
53:41produced on two of those games. 250 yards per out run against the Ravens, 2.51 against the Seahawks. Uh his profile for the season looks like pretty
53:50strong. 22% targets per out run this year, 19% target share. That's 88th percentile to position. Uh 1.7 yards per outr run is 86th percentile. Is 89th
53:59percentile an open score? I don't I don't want to I'm gonna stop talking because I'm sick of touting Daltton Schultz, but I think he's fine. I think
54:06he's fine.
54:06>> Yeah, he is. I mean, it's the it's like he's the And we've seen it for two years because this the Texans wide receiver
54:12rooms been banged up the this third year in a row now. Uh and we've seen him get a little bit of a lift. He's he's better
54:18than he has like better top down metrics than Kate Den, but it's the Kottton effect. It's just, you know, the a
54:25player that's largely a ham and an eggar, but like when you have to throw to him is like reliable reliable enough
54:29to like feed him targets. And you know, with Fred Warner being out these past two weeks, we've seen them. They allowed
54:35all of Katton's catches came after Fred Warner left that game two weeks ago, five for 51. And then Kyle Pittz had
54:41seven for 62 against them last week. So, there's an opportunity here for him in this matchup. I would say like if you if
54:49you're playing the whack-a-mole game with the Texans guys, I do like null the most of them.
54:54>> Um and you know, Lenor changes some dynamics if he's out because the 49ers have been way worse on the interior and
54:59slot corners or to slot receivers. So, it gives him a little bit of juice. I think too of the backups he's just
55:04played the best.
55:05>> So, you just have a little more confidence and it's a very small sample, but >> you know, Jayen Higgins, you have to
55:11wonder like in in like in the building like has he shown them enough? like is he not playing because he's not really
55:18giving showing them much either, right?
55:20Like so [snorts] >> it feels that way because he was actually like producing a little bit in the first couple weeks but then his
55:29route participation did not increase.
55:32It's increased after the buy. He jumped uh to 61%.
55:36But did not record a catch and only had a 9% targets per route run. His his seasonl long stuff just looks bad. like
55:43he's at a 13% targets per outr run, 10% first read target rate. He's not really like earning targets at at a high rate
55:50and he's not a big part of the game plan. Like it's not like they have a sub package really for Jaden Higgins. I
55:55don't think he's just out there when he's out there and he's usually not getting >> I mean now he's basically going to be
56:01Nico Collins. So maybe you can try to talk yourself into like all right, he's gonna have a different role. But I mean
56:06we saw last week but when he just didn't get targeted again. Yeah, Collins missed most of of the game last week. He only
56:14Well, he missed about half the game last week. Had 52% participation.
56:18>> After after co with Collins off the field, Higgins was on the field for 89% of the drop backs, but only had two
56:25targets and didn't have a catch, >> you know. Uh N really being Nico Collins. He was >> he was playing.
56:33>> Well, also the way they've used Nico Collins this year, like like I don't even know that. We feel great about
56:38that. Nick Kayley, man, we got a lot of questions, brother.
56:41>> Yeah.
56:41>> Uh, but Jay >> Kay was bloated as one of the guys who might be May's offensive coordinator. I remember being like, "Okay." And I'm
56:48glad he's not.
56:50>> It's been rough. I mean, they just don't do anything creative. Uh, you saw him getting asked at that presser uh about
56:55them not moving Nico Collins around or using him in motion or anything and like he was kind of like, you know, didn't
57:01really have a great answer for it. Um, I mean, dude, they gave a they gave a goal line touch to Braxton Barios last week.
57:06Like I I Nick Kay like you are running a very close to borderline unserious operation here. [laughter] >> Yeah.
57:15>> Very close.
57:16>> They're Dude, I've never seen either.
57:17They rotate left guards. I've never seen this before. Like like they just they like alternate >> left guard.
57:24>> Yeah, they they've been for weeks they've been doing it. They like alternate their guards. I've never seen this before. Like a team do this. It's
57:31this is like a there's some things happening with this Houston Texans like like what is h what do we do?
57:36>> It's crazy.
57:38That's crazy. The Yeah, I mean it's they're 30th in pass block win rate. Um you think that's because they're rotating their left guard. Is that
57:47contributing? [laughter] Well, I mean, hey, this 49ers team, even after losing Bosa, like this would be the spot I feel like if you're not past
57:54rock blocking because uh they were already since losing Bosa, the 49ers are 27th in pressure and Bryce Huff over that period led the team in sacks and
58:03pressures by like a wide margin. He was like the only guy like getting to I know Eagles fans are going to be mad because
58:10uh if Bryce Huff doesn't play because if he gets a certain number of sacks like that pick changes >> uh for them,
58:15>> oh man. So like there and I think he was like like significantly tracking to get it. So like >> because he has five sacks.
58:22>> Yeah.
58:22>> So >> and maybe he was just meant to play in like the Robert Salah scheme. That's that was it. So but they need him on the
58:28field to get that draft pick to to get approved. [laughter] >> Without him, oh what will you do without a better draft pick from the Bryce
58:36Humprey? [snorts] >> Yeah. Always hustling, man. They're always hustling. But uh >> but yeah, I mean but you've seen it even
58:43before uh facing Michael Penn, though.
58:45Um on Sunday night the 49ers had allowed 11 yards for passing to Baker Mayfield with an empty wide receiver room because
58:52remember I got hurt that game.
58:54>> Uh and then you know Matthew Stafford had the eight eight over eight yards for pass attempt too. I mean granted you
58:59take a leap of faith because Houston is literally down to Daltton Schultz and some guys that but like >> I thought null was a good prospect. Uh
59:06granted we know we know they're going to run Xavier Hudson the most routes though. Like we know this we know this
59:12is happening.
59:13>> Yeah.
59:15You got to take a leap of faith. I'm not playing Straoud, but I guess if you're in season long 2QB with all this bi-week
59:19hell, you're at least can say like, hey, maybe maybe this is it. There's a runway here where I can get 16 fantasy points.
59:27>> I'm definitely not playing Straoud. But I but I, you know, as I covered, I think Schultz is totally fine even as a chalk
59:34piece because because he's cheap and I think you could play null. Um >> he's that cheap. He's remember they played Monday night
59:42>> so >> they didn't they didn't get to change any of these guys prices >> and you know the slot stuff has been if
59:49you look at Christian Kirk like where his his role has been it's it's been pretty solid and I think that probably
59:57informs something about the way the offense is designed like Christian Kirk is a 16% first read target rate >> and the protection
60:04>> um >> they don't have any protection right and and so getting the ball out quickly to the slot guy Makes a lot of sense.
60:10Null's taking that over. He's not going to have like true full-time route participation. Even last week, he was only at 48%. Like, if he was at 65% last
60:20week, I'd be pretty in. But I I am worried that he's like at 50% participation.
60:25>> Well, he was at 65% on the plays Nico Collins play.
60:29>> Okay. Okay.
60:30>> Literally dead on. 65.4.
60:33>> All right. That's that's encouraging.
60:35>> I mean, you need the 49ers to win this game, too, if you play null.
60:40Yeah. Well, what do you what's your thoughts of on the 49ers side here?
60:44>> I mean, they alligator blood team, dude.
60:47Like, this you can't like they lose a starter every week. They do. They're They lost a offensive starter again.
60:52Jake Brendle's not going to play in this game. He hurt his hamstring. Matt Hennessy is going to play center.
60:56>> Um, >> and I I had some some some really cool notes because it wasn't just as simple as KD coming back. Kyle Shanahan
61:03actually changed the entire run game up.
61:06Um, obviously KD coming back is is huge, you know, uh, inflection point. We talked about him coming back last week, but so through six weeks, 51% of
61:16Christian McAffy's runs were outside zone runs. Um, you know, st Kyle Shanahan staple the outside zone. Well, on Sunday, he has season low 29% outside
61:25zone uh, zone run rate. Um, he's he's they shifted. They ran a lot more downhill, a lot more power. 29 and a
61:32half uh% of his runs were power runs. He turned those into 58 yards. Uh he ran for 7.1 yards per carry guard to guard.
61:40Just again, none of this messing around trying to run outside like let's play power football. Now the problem with that is that came against the lighter
61:50Atlanta Falcons front. Was that something that they saw and they wanted to make a change or it was something like fundamentally getting KD back they
61:56thought they could do? And are they going to be able to do that against this Houston defense? Right. Like that's that's kind of the bugaboo because
62:03Houston seventh in yards or carry to running backs. They're eighth in yards allowed before contact running backs less than a yard. So like we're going to
62:10really put what we saw Sunday night to the test here. Uh in terms of the run game scheme change if it even if it was
62:16just like uh something that they want to run back and do again, we're going to get this significantly tested against this Houston defense.
62:23I've been kind of comparing him a little bit to Chimera. Not this year version, but last year year's version where it's
62:29like he's Yes, he's washed as a runner, but he's still getting like so many carry. He's like supercharged washed chimera. But maybe maybe he's like maybe
62:38he's Kiran now. Is he is he Kiran as a runner with the with the power?
62:42>> He looked legitimately good Sunday night.
62:44>> He did look good. He did look good.
62:46Kairen's not got any bursts, but he can still do it.
62:49>> Yeah.
62:49>> You know, um >> Yeah. You're not going to get the 30 yard macccaffrey runs, but he can get you like twelves if it's there. If it's
62:56there, >> we'll take twelves. 12elves are great with a with a 27% target share or whatever. 12 yard runs is awesome.
63:03>> Um the one thing Yeah, this is a tough spot for the 49ers.
63:09>> How aggressively are you getting to him though? like he's been such a Gibralar this year, but like on this particular
63:15slate, like we've already talked about Henry and Barkley kind of being like those mid-rangy guys and obviously we haven't even gotten to the two top guys.
63:23Does is I don't think overlook's not the phrase I want to use, but like against the Houston Texans, like is this a spot
63:29where he actually isn't really played like as aggressively as we have been?
63:35>> And does it make sense? Does it track to being to make sense? It kind of does, right?
63:39Yeah, I I think he will get squeezed. I think you're you're going to say you can go down to Bejon, which is pretty appealing. Save 200. Or
63:50if you're going to pay up Taylor, like with the 30 point implied team total against the Titans and the way he's
63:58looked and the the team's just rolling right now, I have heard I think half a dozen people refer to the Colts as a wagon this week.
64:08The cults are a wagon. That's just it's like [laughter] what does wagon mean?
64:14>> I don't know. I just like I hadn't even really heard that and I just like literally have heard like six different
64:18people like cults are a wagon and so and I [laughter] I don't know. Did a memo go around? But uh the cults are wagon, man. [laughter]
64:27They're a wagon. They're they're just going to put up 30 points and Taylor's going to crush and I I think people are
64:33going to just want to be a part of that.
64:35And yeah, I I do think that that McAffrey gets underplayed. I can't tell you I'm going to play him though.
64:42>> Yeah. Right. I mean, how much respect are you?
64:46>> Yeah. How much respect are you putting on this defense? Because like the Demo Demo Ryan is literally running back like
64:51the Robert Salah playbook. Like I can coach defense and I keep putting my offense into terrible hands.
64:58>> They're going to trade for Aaron Rogers.
65:00>> I hope not. Uh >> me too. Uh yeah, blitz rate uh blitz blitz per drop back 26th um Texans. So
65:10you 26th highest. So they're not blitzing months. They have the eighth highest pressure rate >> and the sixth highest pressure rate.
65:17Yeah, it's beautiful. It's old school getting there with the front four. You know, this is how you beat Tom Brady.
65:22You get with there with the front four.
65:23You know, we're back we're back in in the late >> That's what all these Bio guys wants to do, man. This is why the NFL turned into
65:29what happened, though. Like it's all these fangio guys all turned it into this like hey we can get pressure with four and play quarters and cover six.
65:37>> Yeah.
65:38>> Like because people always credit to the that they think too high as cover two.
65:42No man the NFL is playing all cover four like pattern match. Like that's what that's all Fangio [ __ ] This is all
65:48Fangio's fault.
65:50>> Yeah.
65:51>> And if you can get a pass rush without and it's that's been tried and true in every iteration of NFL is if you can get
65:57pressure without blitzing, you're gonna be good. you're gonna be all right.
66:01>> Yeah.
66:03And that I mean that's them and and you know the 49ers offensive line isn't like terrible but they're without their starting center as you mentioned. Um and
66:11so this could be rough man. They like and I'm not I've I've been impressed with M.
66:19Jones this year but I have never wavered on you know party over Jones. And I think Joe, it's the offscript stuff,
66:28right? Like birdie has the offscript game >> whereas Mac is doing a lot of the things that we've seen Kyle Shanahan like coax
66:36out of pocket passers before, >> right?
66:39>> And you seen though Mac's under pressure stuff is terrible. Like I mean >> great under pressure >> and because Perty can actually has his
66:48gene to create off script. That's the right like peri the the first quarterback Kyle Shans ever had in his career cuz he had Griffin early in his
66:56career, but Griffin wasn't the the passer. Like he there was no marriage.
66:59Like he was athletic, but his his processing was never there. Where Perie like can actually create some [ __ ] out
67:06of nothing. Like he has that he's he has that in his repertoire. But like yeah, when M. Jones has been pressured, he
67:12goes to 25th in yards per pass attempt.
67:15um 8.3 yards per completion is 33rd, 22nd in touchdown rate, and he's also 19th in sack rate. Like he gets the [ __ ]
67:22beat out of him. Like he was like Carson Wentz last night that M. Jones in that remember that game against the Rams on
67:29Thursday night. Every hit you're like this dude's out of the game. Like oh my god, [laughter] >> we see a lot of M. Jones getting hit
67:36this this game.
67:37>> He's tough. I'll give him I mean honestly like I don't mean to criticize M. Jones here. Like he's played really
67:43well. is back.
67:44>> They're grateful that they signed him.
67:46>> Yeah, he's been great. I just think Pertie never gets enough respect. I think Pertie's really good >> and um it just hurts not to have him in
67:54this game. U >> and the 49ers completely kosher winning this game 1713 if they if that's on the table.
68:02>> Oh, they would love that. I I'm I'm worried about that. like as as we talk about this like this they've managed to
68:08keep the wheels on with they've lost their two best players on defense who are like two of the best players on
68:16defense in the league righta and and Warner like these are huge losses doesn't this game feel similar to two weeks ago when they played Tampa doesn't
68:27it feel like just kind of very similar like where they went on the road they faced a team that could get pass rush
68:33and then like it kind of they just don't hold as much.
68:36>> Yeah. Yeah. So on So, okay. So, if we're talking about this script, then all of a sudden the Texans running backs maybe
68:44start to look interesting and one of those running backs happens to be a rookie who's coming off a 63% snap share
68:49after the buy and 59% of the carries.
68:52Woody Marks, I believe, is 5100.
68:55Uh there's a few guys um that I want to bring up. Uh, actually I we we already talked about one of them in Swift as a
69:04potential pivot in kind of this mid-range. I'm I'm less intrigued by him than I am by the other two. Woody Marks
69:11is at 5100 with Swift at 59. So you save there and you could have him being the clear lead back in a, you know, against
69:20a really beat up team while his team is is leading and doesn't really want to pass with with Nico Collins out and not
69:28being able to protect Straoud, you know, very well even even with the 49ers defense being what it is.
69:34>> So they could lean on Woody Marks here.
69:35I know he's not like um going to have, you know, 85% of the snaps or whatever.
69:40Chub will mix in and and maybe steals a touchdown. And so it's it's a little fragile, but Marks is a good pass
69:45catcher and has flashed at times this year. And I'm encouraged by his usage out of the buy.
69:52>> Yeah, he's someone I like I said, I keep drawing that parallel to that Bucks game and he would be like Rashad White was in
69:58that game. I feel like cuz the 49ers aren't getting a pass rush, but remember they invested a ton of draft picks in terms of stopping the run this
70:06year and all those guys are still available and we saw that even on Sunday night that they still played the run
70:12really well with withstand Robinson. So like u that's kind of the concern is like you would have like him just doing
70:19the Rashad White stuff where it's like inefficient rushing. You can tack on some receiving but you still need probably multiple touchdowns. you need
70:26multiply, >> right? Because that's like that's that's the the tricky spots. Like all those guys have been really good that the like
70:33Michael Williams, Alfred uh Alfred Collins, like those guys have been really good against the run. CJ West in the snaps he comes in and subs in. Like
70:40uh they they still play the run well.
70:42It's that just they have no pass rush.
70:43They just have no rushers. So I and then they said I just don't know how the Texans take a part of that because like
70:49Baker took advantage of it by throwing these moonshot. Now remember Baker hit Tez on that awesome play. That's where he did the back flip. Uh Cameron Johnson
70:57caught like a wide >> MVP and Tess thought it was for him.
70:59>> Test thought it was for him. Uh >> yeah, I that's the game I keep shaking.
71:04So like I could see it though. You do probably need multiple touchdowns from him because I don't know if the rushing
71:08efficiency is going to be there for him.
71:11>> I agree. And his rushing efficiency has actually been pretty bad. He's been worse than Chub on the ground >> and that was his bugaboo in college.
71:18>> Yeah, he's a I was I I made myself draft some marks but it was never fun. Um, so I think I've talked myself back out of
71:26it, but in season long I would kind of RB2 decision. I'd break ties to him.
71:32>> Yeah, he's a a solid like floor-based RB2 type of guy. And then you if you can get multiple touchdowns, you feel really
71:38great about the outcome.
71:40>> Totally. Um, all right, let's go to Browns.
71:43>> Dude, running back rankings this week are something.
71:46>> [laughter] >> We we talked about, you know, the the tears and just cuz I have let's just cuz I have put this guy 17th does not mean
71:55that he's as good as the guy I usually put at 17.
71:59>> Yeah. This week with the 16 buys and some injuries. I mean there >> Yeah. I'd be curious if uh anyone in the
72:05chat wants to Who's the worst player you're starting this week? [laughter] >> Great great uh thing to throw out.
72:11>> I'm starting Pat Bryant in a Dynasty League this week.
72:14>> Hell yeah.
72:15>> Yeah. That's I I mean it's not a running back, but it's >> that's a deep one.
72:20>> It's a league where you have it's three wide receivers and two flexes. So, you know, obviously I've got the excuse of I
72:27need to Nope. It's a third receiver.
72:30He's my third. It's He's not my flex. I ran out of receivers. I had Mike Evans.
72:34I've got a bunch of guys on by. I ran out. Pat Bryant's going in. Good game environment, though. Maybe it pays off.
72:41>> Oh, yeah. We'll get there.
72:44Uh, Browns at Patriots. Um, I I I'll kind of start with the Patriots here.
72:51The Okay, there's two things kind of happening simultaneously. One is that the Patriots offensive line is pretty clearly overrated when you look at their
73:01seasonl long numbers. You know, they they they're seventh best in preventing quick pressure. They're they're 13th in preventing pressure. Um, but you look at
73:09their pass block win rate, they're only 21st there. And they've really only faced the Steelers as far as like impressive pass rushes go. They held up
73:17pretty well in that game, but they've not been tested almost the entire season. They go against the Browns pass rush that you pass rush win rate,
73:26they're first pass rush grade, they're second. Now, teams are actually passing so quickly against the Browns, they're not generating pressure at a super high
73:34rate, but this is a truly elite pass rush. It's they got Miles Garrett and they're actually pretty deep behind him.
73:39So, uh, this is really really going to put the Patriots offensive line to the test. It'll also put May to the test.
73:45May has a 24% pressure to sack rate, which is not good. He has 3.04 seconds time to throw, which is pretty long. So,
73:54he's going to need to speed that up.
73:56Now, some of that, I think, is him actually like hanging on to the ball knowing he won't be >> his time to pressure his time to throw
74:03on his pressures is 3.63 63 seconds.
74:06It's 30th in the league. So, he creates some of it, too.
74:09>> He creates some, but I think he takes it on. To me, that's a good sign for quarterback. You're kind of like
74:14>> when you get pressured, what are you like buying with that pressure? And it better be downfield shots. Like, if you're if you're taking on pressure and
74:23your ADOT's like six, like you suck.
74:27Like, like go >> Justin Fields.
74:29>> Why did you even bother getting pressured? Like, you know what I mean?
74:32you took on the Now, if you're getting pressure in like two seconds, sure. But like if you if you're taking time and
74:39the pressure is coming and it's sort of part part of it is that you're sort of allowing that to happen, you better be
74:45taking shots downfield, which May very much does. Um, so he's been awesome, man.
74:51>> His quarterback won an EPA per game.
74:53He's been crushing, >> dude. He made like four throws last week where I like, you know, I watch the games at my oldest and I'm like tapping
75:00on. You see that? Did you see that throw? Like did you see that throw >> throw along the side?
75:04>> Did you see that throw? Like I'm just like, "Oh my gosh." Cuz you know we we bring like uh like TVs all into the room
75:09so we could have all the games on. Like we're not red zone watchers. Uh but we like to cuz I like I have always been
75:16like from you probably did with blurbs from Roto World. Like I love the flow of the game. I have to watch like the the
75:21context like the flow of the game and uh I like have like trained myself to kind of like eyes dart around everywhere and
75:28u so >> you go like what what how many TVs do you have in there? Are you you quad boxing some of these TVs or
75:34>> Yeah. Uh so yeah, we do the four and then we have a a giant one that like we put like either the game of the week on
75:40or one we want to like really follow. Uh quad box Yeah. do do like multiple quad boxes and then share games. But uh we
75:47>> I've always just been that way. never like I always and people that do this is not a shot of if you watch Red Zone by
75:52all means like it's great like it's the reason like you know the >> Red Zone's awesome.
75:57>> Yeah. I I like to go Red Zone one one I have a quad box and I Red Zone's one of
76:02them and then I'll do three games.
76:04>> When we were uh >> usually one of them because I'm obsessed with Drake May >> when the ticket first came out. We used
76:09to have like a local watering hole that had all the games up. They had a wall.
76:14They had a wall of literally 12 TVs on a straight line wall and they used to show every game and like I just you just kind
76:21of get trained like at first like when you first watch it you like how do you follow all this and you just it just
76:26kind of happens. Yeah.
76:27>> So like I can kind of like follow all the games and like what how they're happening and watch oh yeah this
76:31happened here and then like you see the play and you know where the stoppage is and your eyes divert like a different
76:37>> I was like yeah I'm like sh I'm like did you see this throw? Did you see this throw that he just made? Uh
76:42>> yeah, man. He's I mean the booty the booty touchdown was sick. Like it's just that was so funny too because I for who
76:50the the uh the announcer was like because it's a former Patriot. I'm blanking on his name, but he was like Josh McDaniels like he's going to make
76:59sure not to go too fast here because they're going to want to get the ball.
77:02They're going to want to have the ball last and score and then get the ball a after halftime. And like as he's saying
77:08that, May drops back and rips a touchdown to Case John Booty. [laughter] And then he he like posted on Twitter.
77:14He's like, I'm I'm never forgiving McDaniels for this. Did me so dirty. But yeah, I mean there was he was So May,
77:22yeah, May's quarterback won an EPA per game. This is kind of the other side of this is that like the Browns pass rush
77:27is for real. The Patriots offensive line is not for real. And May takes sacks and he invites pressure.
77:32But May has been awesome under pressure this year. Um, while dealing with quick pressure, he has the highest EPA per play in the NFL. That's pressure in 2.5
77:43seconds or less, which isn't really on the quarterback. Um, but he's been awesome at handling it. Daniel Jones is the only other quarterback with positive
77:49EPA against quick pressure this year.
77:52And and when you look at pressure arriving after 2.5 seconds, he's quarterback three in EPA per play behind only Patrick Mahomes and Daniel Jones.
77:58So pressure is bad. Like it's not like, "Oh, he'll be good because he's good against pressure." Like every quarterback's better clean than under
78:05pressure, but he's not like some dude who's like, "Oh, as long as he's clean, he's awesome, and if he's under pressure, he turtles up." Like, he's
78:12awesome under pressure. The question is, can he get the ball out very quickly, consistently, and and that's how you have to play the Browns? That's how
78:20everyone plays the Browns. opponents have a 2.58 second time to throw against um against the Browns this year, which is exactly what Aaron Rogers has and
78:29exactly what Dylan Gabriel has. It's like a really short, quick, >> you know, get the ball out type of approach. Um against the rest of the
78:37league, opponents are averaging 2.81 second time to throw. Um sorry, 2.82 second time to throw, which is just a a split second faster, split second slower
78:47than Trevor Lawrence. So, the gap, the rest of the league, you play like Trevor Lawrence against the Browns, you play like Dylan Gabriel. You just get the
78:55ball out. And um that's going to be the big point of emphasis for the Patriots this week because the Browns have an
79:02elite run defense and the Patriots can't run the ball. So, I I don't I think they're too sharp to just slam Raandre
79:08Stevenson into an elite run defense. I do think they will understand what the pivot is here, which is quick passing.
79:15That helps Stefon Diggs a little bit. It the the matchup overall kind of hurts, but he's really getting targeted at a
79:21high rate on these quick throws. 2.5 seconds or less. He has a 37% targets per run and 3.05 yards per route run.
79:28Hunter Henry second with a 20% targets per route run. So, I think you could you could do a May double here with Diggs
79:37and Henry. I don't know if I end up doing it, but I think that the Patriots I think will be fine here. Uh I and I
79:45think the way they score points has to be the quick passing game. It can't they're not going to be able to to
79:50consistently move the ball on the ground. Um it'll be a little less fun.
79:54You know, Booty is probably not going to get loose for a deep touchdown this week against this pass rush, but I I think
80:01the Patriots will be okay even though the Browns pass rush is definitely for real.
80:06>> Yeah, probably. It's probably one of those things though like what kind of fantasy squeeze do we get? This is like
80:11the first time for like fantasy purposes I've kind of been like I don't know if we're going to play Bay this week is
80:17it's genuinely the first time and honestly is the out of all the games we've had this is the first one I'm like
80:21I mean the only guy they've even allowed more than 15 fantasy points too was Aaron Rogers.
80:26>> Um so it's like you know he can always get there with the legs. That's the one think you have. U so May has gotten the
80:33ball out within two and a half seconds on only 37.9% of his drop backs. is 32nd in the league. Talked about his pressure
80:41stuff being 30th. The Browns have also turned 25% of their pressures into sacks, which is second in the NFL. Like they're also one of those teams like
80:49they're just hard to buy time against because their pass Garrett man like what are you going to do?
80:54>> Um >> and then you know on quick throws throws within two and a half seconds May's ADOT goes to four yards downfield is 29th in
81:02the league. So um I'm interested. This is a great I think this is gonna be I want to actually I'm excited to watch
81:08May in this game.
81:08>> This is a real test for May.
81:10>> I want to see it. Yeah. I want because you know you loved May. I love May. We weren't the only ones but it's like he's
81:15been so good and he's exceeded expectations in terms of efficiency as a thrower. I I want to see it now. Like
81:22yeah like let's show it to us. Like show it to us here. Um the game environment is probably fine enough overall for them
81:27to still win the game. I still just want more than them winning the game. I want to see I want >> Me But I mean they they're 23.75 imply
81:36team total and I don't think they're going to be able to run the ball.
81:39>> So I I I think he'll be okay. Like I it's not a guarantee. Like this is a real test, >> but I think he'll be I think he'll be
81:46able to move the ball. And part of it is that you know Diggs has come on recently >> and has been you know it really the
81:54first three weeks of the season like Diggs is playing like half the routes.
81:57Um, >> and the Browns have given up some like to as good as their defense has been, we've seen good receiver games against
82:04them like for sure. I mean, Metaf had four for 95 in a touchdown. Almanra seven for 70 and two. Jefferson went
82:12over 100 yards. A Flowers had seven for 75.
82:15>> Um, >> they play a lot of man and Diggs has been really good against man. Do you have any do you have any thoughts on
82:21that with with the Browns and their kind of man coverage scheme? Yeah, I mean he's a he knows how to play wide
82:26receiver. Like that's the thing, right?
82:28Like he can get open. He's still he's still uncovering. He's good in all the no matter where you go to or you
82:33subscribe to from like getting open. He also passes the eye test when you see him. Um but he's been targeted on 30% of
82:39his routes against man coverage. Uh Cleveland's most highest in the league.
82:43Uh they trust their they trust their defense. Um >> he's at 4.65 yards per out run like gets gets open. Um yeah, they don't have like
82:51a huge sample of of like facing it, but like uh >> he he Diggs has been like better than advertised this year and we kind of knew
82:59this over the summer when they were like he's ahead of schedule and everything and he's he's just >> started slow. So I think there's like
83:06this feeling of oh Diggs terrible pick.
83:08I remember thinking like oh man what was I thinking with Diggs like >> we knew there'd be ramp >> coming off the ACL tear. Yeah, but it's
83:14like you know in week two like this whole season's played out. we know everything we're going to know. You know, it's like hard to remember how
83:20much chaos is left to come, but he's been awesome over the last four weeks.
83:26>> Yeah. And we'll see uh on Sunday night because, you know, Christian Watson's going to dress and he he'll probably run
83:30eight pass routes.
83:33>> Christian Watson coming back before Brandon Iuk is pretty wild.
83:37>> Yeah. Well, it's part for the course of this Aayuk this organization.
83:41>> Yeah. Yeah, that's true.
83:44Um all right, let's uh let's talk Browns. I will. Yeah, I was going to say good.
83:49>> Yeah, I was going to say the Browns just there's a little bit, very little, but >> do you have any hope for like Steven? I
83:56mean, Stevenson is more season long.
83:58>> Not really, man. Because like you said, uh I mean, even last week against So, he he has two games where he's been useful
84:04for fantasy and they were against the Titan uh the Dolphins and the Titans like pretty clear obvious >> like Helen Keller knows to play she can
84:13see playing dudes against these games.
84:15But every against everyone else, he's rusher 38 yards or less. Uh Browns um are literally allowing 0.43 yards before contact on backfield runs. Number one in
84:25the NFL, third in success rate. They are fourth in allowing first down touchdown rate. I am like you like this what this
84:32what this what makes this from a real football perspective. I don't know if there's gonna be a lot of fantasy points
84:36in this game, but from a real football perspective, I'm curious to see how the Patriots get there. Like >> yeah, >> it I'm genuinely curious. I am genuinely
84:44curious. So I'm I'm out I'm out on Arj though. I don't see the ceiling.
84:50>> This is how this is how confident you know when you go when May going on this type of run where he's literally
84:55quarterback one in EPA per game. I'm like yeah okay bring on the Browns.
84:59Bring on the Brown. I I'm glad. Listen, I'm really glad that they have the easiest remaining schedule left after the easiest schedule to this point.
85:08That's great. I couldn't be happier about that. I do like that we get this one test and then if it doesn't go well,
85:14he gets a bunch [laughter] of easy games again and we can go recoup. You know, this is almost like by weeks and then
85:22we'll come back and you'll get the Bucks later on and and uh and maybe you'll you'll do better in that game. So, I I
85:28like this. This is just a kind of an ideal situation as a May backer where you get the test and even if he fails
85:32the test, >> it'll be okay because they get soft matchups again.
85:35>> Yeah, I don't think I would stream for him in managed leagues. I would still I mean >> I would play him.
85:41>> We just don't have the options either.
85:43Like what are you going to do?
85:45>> You're not playing and Daltton over Drake May. I won't allow it.
85:48>> Like maybe if you have a team that had maybe you took May and Bon Knicks together and maybe you would bow, but
85:53that'd be that'd probably be the line for me.
85:55>> Yeah. So in the rankings, let me see where I think I am going to end up having Knicks higher. Uh I'm curious to
86:04see if I made myself do it already.
86:08Yes, I already have Knicks ahead. Um, >> that'd be it though. But I mean, how many teams have those two guys? Some
86:13Some might, but >> because their ADP was kind of >> It's not fun. I don't want to play Knicks over May, but I think you should.
86:22>> Yeah. Yeah.
86:23>> Yeah. But I have I have May ranked I have May ranked above Daniel Jones, which maybe is bad because Jones is like
86:32so clearly going to be on a team that scores a bunch of points. But I think like May like if they score points it
86:38has to be through May where if Jones scores points it does not have to be through Jones. So I think that's that's
86:44close to me. Who would you play between those two guys?
86:49>> Um I would probably play Jones just for the floor. Like I would say it's floor.
86:54Do you know what I mean? I would say that >> but it would depend like it would depend on kind of maybe my matchup. Maybe I
86:59felt like I needed to chase like an optimal outcome. Um it's close. I do have Jones. Uh, well, I actually have
87:04Jones one spot higher.
87:07>> So, it's not even like it's So, that was like a good call on your part. It was like a It was a good call.
87:12>> No, I mean that's I have them back to back and it's like, yeah, I could see Jones. I I might end up flipping Jones,
87:16but it's very close that. So, just to give people an idea of like the May >> because uh May Jones is in the same spot
87:23May was in last week uh you know where like we talk about the Texans or Titans and they don't give up a lot of points
87:29because teams don't have to throw on them, but like while teams are throwing them, they're not good. So, as long as
87:34the Colts are throwing, while they're throwing, Jones will be fine, >> right? No, Jones will be great while they're throwing, but how many times
87:41does he throw?
87:42>> Yeah. Yeah, we we'll talk about them uh a little bit here.
87:46>> Dylan Gabriel and Browns.
87:50>> Yeah, we'll get to the wagon, don't worry. Uh [laughter] >> culture wagon, man. Um Browns, they're uh I don't know. There's not a lot going
88:01on here. here. Quinn John Judkins getting all the carries. Dylan Gabriel was okay against the Dolphins, but it's the Dolphins. Patriots are a pretty good
88:09pass defense. Really good run defense.
88:13Um, if Injoku's out, Fannon is is definitely playable. But >> would have been great to play Fannon on a flop lag spot, man. It would have been
88:21so good. But I I actually saw a video of Injoku at practice and he was like literally jumping around like I was like
88:28this dude's playing like >> Yeah.
88:31>> Remember last year he set himself on fire and came back and played the the >> you got to give him Yeah. You got to
88:36hand it to him.
88:37>> Yeah.
88:37>> Like he's I assume he's playing but man it would have been such a good spot to play Fan because everything happened for
88:42Fan and we wanted to. It's just that the the Browns dogwalked them like no pun intended. Like >> like he he 87% drop back rate target on
88:5125% of his routes. He ran 20 routes >> like y >> it would have been such an awesome spot to come back to him
88:57>> and we're probably getting injoku back and he still might be okay. It's just we would have wanted the the near 90% route
89:03rate against the team like we they're going to have to throw in this game.
89:07>> Um we saw >> like from season long like I still think he he's very playable. It's just that now with the salary, I don't think like
89:14I saw him as a tight end one, >> but I think with the salary in DFS, it's just it's just a lot less appealing,
89:21>> right? Um because they're going to have to throw. We saw two weeks ago uh when they were road dogs against the
89:25Steelers, uh like Kevin Stfansky had no qualms of letting Dylan Gabriel throw 50 times. Like he was like, "Cool." Like cuz this is where I think like this is
89:36where they're going to have to like Judkins. I mean, three touchdowns covers up a lot. And I don't think it was a I
89:41don't think it's a Judkins problem. So on Sunday, he averaged 0.44 yards uh negative 0.44 yards before contact per rush against the Dolphins.
89:52He had a 28% success rate. Uh he failed to gain yardage on 32% of his runs. Like this line, you've been talking about it
89:58too. We talk this line is just beat this beat to hell. They're they're down.
90:02>> They get Conklin back though.
90:04>> Yeah. So he's he's 35th out of 37 running backs now in yards before contact. He's a road dog. like a pretty
90:10sizable road dog. And oh yeah, the Patriots are incredible against the run because they spent a bunch of money against the run. Nobody's run for 49
90:18yards or more or run for more than 49 yards against them. They're we talk about the Browns and their yardage allowed before contact. Well, the
90:24Patriots are second. They're behind the Browns. Yeah. And three. So like it's probably going to be like I could see Dylan Dylan Gabri having like another
90:31game where it's like literally 40 plus dropbacks in this game.
90:37Then maybe maybe Fannon does get there ultimately. But it's he's definitely harder to play in DFS. It's like one of those things where you're like, I'm
90:44gonna play Fannon. Then you're like, well, KD's kind of the same price, so I I'm playing Fannon over KD.
90:50>> No, it's the grossest thing, but I and I don't know if you're going to do it in DFS, but like I mean I think Judy
90:57objectively is okay in this game. Like at least you know he's going to get a bunch of targets. Oh man, >> he I mean he's had over 20% of the team
91:06targets in the past two Gabriel games. I mean he has he has over 40% of the air yards. They started to play Jamari
91:12Thrash over Isaiah Bond. Uh >> yeah, >> and two weeks ago when they had that game, that game script, he had 13
91:19targets. Now granted, I don't know what he's going to do with these targets, but >> I I do imagine this is a game where Judy
91:25does get double digit targets. I I could really see it.
91:28>> Judy Judy's averaging 6.8 eight PPR points per game. Do you want to just take a quick guess on what his expected
91:35points per game is per PFF?
91:38>> Uh, well, I guess we're moving last week. It's got to be >> is it double digits?
91:44>> It's 12.1.
91:45>> Yeah, 12 >> 12.1. So, he's he's leaving. He's almost half his points.
91:50>> Half of his expected.
91:51>> Just like take what he's supposed to get, cut it in half. There's Jerry Judy.
91:55That's kind of impossible to like maintain. The reason I side like that is because I wrote up I wrote up Judy
92:02pretty positively um on the idea of dropback volume and just like this level of inefficiency is difficult is actually difficult to
92:13maintain like variance will help you out at some point. So yeah I mean I don't know I hadn't even thought of him for
92:20DFS. It's more like hey I think he's in wide receiver three consideration and reddraft. Uh what is he even priced? But
92:26I hadn't even considered him.
92:28>> He's four He's 41.
92:30>> Oh my god.
92:33>> I mean, it's warranted. It's warranted, >> dude. God damn. I think he's a good play.
92:41>> 4100.
92:43>> I mean, it's a definite football gods take the wheel play, but I believe I actually believe he's going to probably
92:49get double digit targets. I think it's like probable. against Pittsburgh, they had a 79% pass rate. So, like there is no exaggeration happening here when you
92:58talk about, you know, Dylan Gabriel just letting it letting them chuck it in that game. Um they dropped down last week to
93:0648%. They were 52% against the Vikings.
93:09>> Of course they did.
93:10>> Of course. Yeah. Against the Vikings, they're dealing with this incredible blitz in in um Gabriel's first start and I think they were just protecting him.
93:18But yeah, I mean the other thing too I talked about I think the Patriots will be okay here and be able to put up
93:25points. So they they should be able to push the Browns as well. Um I guess the one thing right that's tricky is that if you can't run the ball
93:34as the Browns and it's like you it's like obvious dropback situations for Gabriel >> then it's like you're it's like 12
93:42targets but what do those mean? You know, like when a target drops by your feet, you know, and you're kind of there
93:48was never a chance. You had to run just for it to get near your feet. Uh because he kind of just chucks it up.
93:56That shouldn't count. But I think we might get a couple of those.
93:59>> I'm just saying if you want to make a lineup to where you're somehow getting to big quality running backs or trying
94:05to jam in the you're doing the old team jamming.
94:08>> I do. I do want to do that. I think Judy is like one objectively one of the best plays per dollar in terms of
94:15opportunity. Now, I don't know what the hell you're going to get out of him, but I think in ter objective just
94:19opportunity for cost, I do believe he he's he would fit that build.
94:26>> Anytime you can play a guy who makes Chris Olive look like the most efficient receiver in the league on his
94:31opportunity, you got [laughter] to do it. It's a honestly, it's a good call.
94:35It's just so gross.
94:36>> It's the gross. So gross. Absolutely heinous, dude.
94:40>> Oh, >> it's really bad.
94:43>> 4-1 now. [laughter] >> God damn it. I'm going to play Jared Judy this week. Um, all right. Let's
94:53move to the do that after we talk about the grossest thing imaginable. Let's talk about >> as you transition.
95:00>> Arthur Juan officially ruled out.
95:03>> Okay. Okay. That that's gonna Devonte Smith.
95:07I mean, is he that could shift thing that could actually shift some stuff around where he has to be kind of chalky
95:14now, right? Like >> Oh, he's got 100. Yeah, >> he's reasonable.
95:17>> He's 5,900.
95:19So, that should move some stuff. Uh, guys in that same range. Let's see.
95:25Flowers is >> Flowers Flowers was already tracking to be kind of uh popping in Sims. So, >> yeah. And he's still he's still 500
95:34cheaper, so I people will still go there. Um, but I don't know. I mean, it should it should at least even it out a little
95:41bit.
95:41>> Yes.
95:43>> Drake London might not be so chalky now.
95:45He's >> a was 5'8, so he's like right on the line with a lav.
95:49>> Yep. No, I mean, if you can play No one's playing now. Like, you're telling me I can play Dvonte Smith in a in a
95:58good matchup with AJ Brown or Chris Lave?
96:03>> I'm not playing. [laughter] I'm not going to do it. real good spot for a lava, too.
96:06>> It is a good spot, but it's Spencer Rattler and, you know, >> correct.
96:12>> Yeah.
96:13>> You know, not splitting time, but he does. He's not going to be able to consolidate routes because she plays is
96:17what I mean.
96:18>> Um, >> I'm going to do it. I'm going to make a a lineup with those two running backs and just see who they give me. If I lock
96:24him. Does is Jerry Judy one of the dudes?
96:28>> It gives you Isaiah Bond.
96:32>> Oh, really?
96:35the note on Bond. I I don't think Bond's playable like he >> No, no, no. He Thrash Thrash was playing. Um Well, you can just do Jaylen
96:42Null. I don't think the null projections in because Nico Yeah, I don't think it's a juts yet. So, like if you would if
96:47you're going to build this. Okay, >> so the lineup I ran right now >> ended up being on DraftKings. Uh Bejian
96:53Robinson, Jonathan Taylor together, locked them in.
96:56>> You also gave me Derrick Henry.
96:59So, you have all >> the most anti-draft kings lineup ever.
97:03Three running back that well at least one of them catches passes.
97:07>> Uh Bo Knicks.
97:08>> Yeah.
97:09>> Uh Chris Alave, Dalton Schultz, and Rasheed Shahid. So then you would swap null for Bond. So it's like two. You'd
97:16have to do some jostling. But it's actually not even like the worst object.
97:19I thought it was >> so naked Bo Knicks.
97:22>> Saints double without Rattler. Naked Knicks. Wow.
97:26>> Sims have lost their minds. Yeah, absolutely. [laughter] >> Um, all right, let's talk about something even grosser than Jerry Judy
97:36to a tongue bya.
97:37>> That's a good zero percentile EPA per play last week. Uh, it was his lowest of the season as you would expect, but not
97:45by much. He was second percentile against the Colts in week one. Just absolute trash. um he was just getting the ball out super quick and to the
97:54other team just really like watching him you're just like what's going on man um >> but won't interceptions this week >> did you see that that Mike McDaniel
98:05>> they so I asked Mike McDaniel if >> if Tua [laughter and clears throat] would remain the starter he's like yeah
98:10we're going to start he's like I'm pretty sure he won't throw 10 interceptions this week [laughter] >> I was joking around I think Daniel is
98:19just spitballing. He says they're going to get Jaylen Wright involved. Like I He's This is like It's like um
98:29like a character who dies in a movie and just like then like inexplicably like returns, you know, in the second half
98:34and you're just it's like, you know, like [laughter] he's like there's no way McDaniel like thought he was going to be
98:40in this part of the Dolphins season, you know, it like he's having press conference. I think you don't fire them.
98:46Like you just you just make it go make everyone you just make everyone that's the punishment, right? You finish the year, man. You just finish the year.
98:53>> We're not even mercy killing this. Like you just do the you don't get a vac you don't get a vacation like through the
98:59year. Like when we're one and 12, you're still out here like doing press conferences cuz you can see he's just degraded every week. He's just
99:06progressively like lost life. Like >> he's mailing in the press conferences. I mean, that's he's just he's always rambled and stuff, but the rambling has
99:14gotten out of control. And Tu is just saying crazy stuff every time. He admitted to not being able to see over
99:21the line the other the other day. Uh that's >> Yeah, >> it's un that's unusual.
99:26>> To be fair, he did the same thing in the offseason.
99:29>> Did he? I missed that.
99:30>> Yeah. Like Perie was just talking about like how the like his uh he was like he's like I I make like 40% of my throws
99:36are trust throws on my pre-eread, like my read because like I'm so small. like I can't see over the guys.
99:42>> This is this is literally the human resources meme where like I think that's that's cool and and courageous of Brock
99:47Pury, but when Tua does it, it's great.
99:49>> I'll send I I'll send the clip out maybe and say like it's it's actually incredible. Like it he said it in like a
99:55way more like infrastructure type way of like understanding football than Tua like >> said it like well I just couldn't see
100:01anybody so I just threw that. [laughter] That's how Tua made it sound. Like Pertie was like no like I've had to like
100:07I've had to learn how to play football this way. like >> Yeah. Yeah.
100:10>> would like and I assume to it to a degree has as well. Uh because he's >> he's still working on it.
100:18>> Yeah.
100:18>> Was the way he phrased it.
100:19>> It's it's the I mean when the play is this bad you just it's >> but all of the Dolphins like the vibes
100:24are literally completely the this is fine meme. Like like they're all but like it's acknowledging like everything's on fire and we all see it
100:31and they have to keep telling us like as professionals it's not and but we all know and they know it and like we see
100:37through everything.
100:39the the thing like there's no reprieve here. The Falcons defense is awesome.
100:44They've really turned it around this year. The pass rush is great. They're blitzing.
100:49>> They play a style of football that takes the first read away.
100:52>> Yeah. Which is just >> Yeah. Not what you want. Yeah. The third most efficient team against first reads this season.
100:59>> Yeah. This is the whole Raheem Morris like we're going to play cover three like we're going to take your first read
101:04away.
101:05>> This is this is it, man. It's just terrible. It's bad news.
101:13>> There's not anything. There's nothing I can I can tell you that.
101:16>> Moving on to the Falcons. No. I mean, is there anything? There's nothing.
101:19>> I mean, listen, Aan's I think Aan's fine, especially with Waller being out.
101:23We know they're going to use in a pass game, but like I feel like is this a spot a Chan's going to get me 30? I
101:28don't.
101:30>> No, I don't either. Maybe, you know, maybe Mike McDaniel watched his, you know, watched Kyle Shanahan last week.
101:36It was like, we can do some of the same things in the run game and Han can and Han's at least indoors on turf. It could
101:41be fun, but >> on this slate, like we just think of the running backs we've already talked about. How am I squeezing him in?
101:51>> No, you're not. You're not playing him.
101:53Um, >> you have an 18point team total.
101:57>> Yeah. What about Wadd?
102:00>> Fine. 5,700 going to command targets.
102:03>> Again, I feel okay about the Dolphins guys in manage league stuff. I I I struggle for the upside because here's
102:09the problem with this game by big picture for if you want to run Dolphins stuff is they can't stop the run,
102:15dude. Like the Falcons are already opponents are already running the second fewest plays per game against them. Like this is dude, they're gonna have they I
102:24could see the Atlanta Falcons in this game with a banged up Michael Penn.
102:27Michael Pennix also, by the way, said he expects to start with a banged up Michael Penn against defense. What is the overunder on Bejian Robinson, Tyler
102:35Algier carries combined? Because in every win, Tyler Alier's double digit carries.
102:40>> Yeah.
102:41>> Like, dude, I just don't see the play volume.
102:43>> It might be like 31. Like, it's it's a lot.
102:46>> Yeah. Where's the play volume come? If they're not stopping this run game, which I don't believe they're going to, >> where's the play volume coming from? I
102:53think season long stuff, fine. Play these guys.
102:57Is the upside there for these guys?
103:00>> Season long, not not DFS. Season long, Malik Washington, I think, could maybe be in the mix as like a by-week fill in.
103:08Um, I noted >> he had 24% targets per hour run on last week, 26% against the Chargers, and his route participation was up to 76%.
103:17>> Julian Hill didn't practice on on uh Wednesday and Thursday, and Waller's out. So, you know, any hopes you had that Hill might step up, which are
103:25probably none anyway, uh, he might not even play. Um, so there's just and Nick Westbrook A hasn't been able to do
103:32anything like there's no I know it's a condensed offense, but they they need like a secondary weapon downfield. Um, and I think it's probably Washington
103:41now. So, >> as a by-week filling option, I I'll shout him out. Um, not a guy I've really been on previously, but I think
103:49everything's kind of broken his way to where he's viable now.
103:52>> They think with Smith out like I don't want to play Waddle. Just I'm going to play Smith for a couple hundred bucks
103:58more in DFS.
103:59>> Yeah. I mean, Falcons haven't no one's even thrown for more than 180 yards against them. And they haven't they have
104:04had a favorable run, but like that also includes Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen.
104:09>> Yeah.
104:11Yeah. Yeah, >> like they've played a lot of they've played a host of backups, but what is Tua right now? Is he not backup level?
104:17Like he's played awful >> and they don't have any and they don't have T like they don't they're down to two good players on offense.
104:25>> Yeah. And I I think the Falcons defense is is good.
104:29>> Like they they've they immediately flashed >> the beginning, you know, the very beginning of the year like, oh, they're doing like some new stuff and they're
104:35pressuring and um new new DC seems to have worked out really well. So >> yeah, I don't like it either. I wish
104:40they were bad.
104:44>> Well, because more fun for us like when you build up Yeah. When you build up the whole iceberg because this is like I
104:49think there actually is like if you drafted Drake London and I drafted a good amount of him. I think he's going
104:54to be like a wide receiver too the rest of the year or at least like cuz you have the splits with Mooney. The Falcons
105:01are awesome at running the ball. They're playing good defense. They're not running a lot of plays and then like their quarterback's not that great. Like
105:07it's there's a lot of things pulling away. I think for if you took London at the one two turn, I I don't think we're
105:14going to recoup rec recoup that value big picture. Um we'll always have >> Well, listen, I I don't have London because I have a bunch of Bowers, so it
105:20could it could be worse.
105:21>> Cool.
105:22>> At least your guys been out there.
105:23>> Yeah. And and and you're still, you know, you just have to ride or die with London, obviously, but like I don't
105:28think you can get to the receivers here with a banged up Pennix, their defense playing good in this matchup because like I just don't know where the pass
105:34volume's going to be.
105:37>> [snorts] >> Yeah, I mean obviously Bejan's a smash here um as he is every week >> and you're definitely even in manage
105:45leagues probably playing Alier.
105:49>> Yeah, you know, Neil Orfield mentioned him even as a DFS play in large field because he's cheap enough. Uh >> you need two touchdowns, but he could
105:59get them. He he actually has out he actually has out touched Robinson seven to four inside the 10 yard line >> and when um
106:08>> dude Algier's good too like you hand him the ball in a 13 like punch that in like he's anytime he's on the field near the
106:15end zone it's it's not good for Robinson. So, he's played he's played 35% of the offensive snaps when Atlanta's been ahead compared to 19%
106:23trailing, that all tracks. But, in the second half of games ahead, he goes to 45% uh snap share. So, if if we expect this
106:34to play out as implied >> on a week where there's a lot of gross and to be fair to him, like some of the
106:41guys we've talked about like don't really catch passes and are touchdown dependent, too. like he could even run down some guys in that range um of
106:49running back.
106:51>> Dude, how funny would it be if he outscores Derrick Henry [laughter] as a backup running back? It's it's plausible scores a couple touchdowns.
107:00>> But like there's like because like if you're trying to talk yourself into like maybe like a Chase Brown this week
107:04because they play the Jets and they're have game script like >> what's the real difference, man? What's the real difference?
107:13>> Carrie share. I'm cur Oh, here's a good one for you. Uh maybe that's probably more is JK Dobbins versus Tyler Algier.
107:22>> That's a that's honestly like a very kind of similar You're JK Dobbins is just I think he can score two
107:27touchdowns. That's it.
107:30>> But people are going to play Dobbins.
107:32>> Yeah, they are. He's the other guy I was going to mention as a potential pivot in the in the Woody Mark zone. But like how
107:39how really far off is Algier from JK Dobbins?
107:44>> Maybe not that far. Yeah, you need a very specific game script and you need those touchdowns. It's It's definitely thin because
107:54>> Yeah, like Dobbins can get there going to be the guy out there.
107:58>> Yeah.
107:59>> Um >> it has to be large field.
108:01>> It has to be large field for sure, which I don't really play. So, uh, but Neil does and and he was he was saying he's
108:08he's thinking about him, so it's it's definitely viable. Um, anything else before we go to Jets at Bengals?
108:16>> No. I mean, I'll just say like I think that that that Alier though is the the tiebreaker for me between Taylor and
108:23Robinson. If you have to twist my arm to only play one, if you're like, Rich, I can only play one. Where's your lean?
108:29>> I would choose Taylor because he doesn't share anything inside the 10.
108:35He doesn't share anything at all.
108:37>> He doesn't leave the field.
108:40>> I mean, Bejian actually has the receiving out. That's like a a Trump that's like his spade is like the dude.
108:45His receiving stuff is immaculate.
108:48>> So, >> yeah, >> there's there's an outcome though where actually Bejian has 150 total yards and no touchdowns, though.
108:57>> Yeah. And I mean there's there's outcomes where they just like aren't pushed at all. This could be a threequarter game for sure.
109:05Like the Dolphins, it it's so bad.
109:09>> But Bejian is a great play. Don't again take that.
109:11>> He is a great play. He's a great play.
109:12>> I would say if you if you're you can only pick one. I'm only playing whatever. Who is the tiebreak? I do
109:19tiebreak the Taylor.
109:21>> Me too. Me too. And partly because one of the things that Bejian definitely has on Taylor is the huge target share 21%
109:31with uh with 2.27 yards per out run. Um that's a big time edge on Taylor, but it just it's like this game environment is
109:41is less likely for him to win that way or to need to be used that way and absolutely crush Taylor through the
109:47receiving usage. So very very very strong play though. Uh, Jets at Bengals.
109:55Do we still not know who's starting?
109:57>> Uh, a competitive advantage, sir.
110:00>> So, I I said, uh, you know, they're they're talking they're doing owners meetings. Woody Johnson's calling out as quarterback and everything. And, uh, I I
110:09proposed a new rule change, which is that you're allowed you're still allowed to play Koi with your naming your quarterback starter, but you have to win
110:16one game before you're eligible. Is that >> good rule?
110:21I mean, this is the most I mean, he's definitely going to be one and done, right, Aaron Glenn?
110:27>> 100%. Like, he he how how can he not be?
110:31>> Like, this is >> this team doesn't have the morale is is gone. Like, this team, they don't want to be out there.
110:37>> It's just isn't this just isn't serious stuff.
110:42>> They They're They're They're plagued by penalties. They They >> It's like Urban Meyer [ __ ] dude. This is like Urban Meyer stuff.
110:49>> It really is. They they give up in these games. Like they just straight up like run the ball. Like they're down like 12
110:56points and it's like they're they have like an eight minute drive and kick a field goal. Like this team is just
111:02absolutely brutal.
111:03>> And I just can't shove or shake that picture of him just dancing on the sideline after that field goal return.
111:09Like that's going to live forever for like that's going to be his leg.
111:12>> It's going to be his [laughter] leg.
111:18>> Well, he gave us that. He gave us that.
111:20>> And and the Lions defense is better without him.
111:23>> That's the other thing that's been rough.
111:25>> It's all bad, man.
111:28>> Yeah.
111:29>> We want Tyrod to start, though.
111:31>> I guess you know what, man?
111:34>> Tyrod sucks.
111:36>> I I don't disagree.
111:38>> EPA per game just a hair better than Fields. Success rate worse. Worse than Fields this year. His time to throw
111:47longer longer than Fields. He's at 3.19 second time to throw. Only Caleb Williams has been longer. Fields is at 3.13. So, he's holding the ball for over
111:56two. The Jets quick pressure. I've I've heard nice things about the Jets tackles and stuff. Jets offensive line has in terms of the performance this year has
112:05been abysmal. They're dead last and quick pressure rate allowed. Dead last and pressure rate allowed. The pressure is on the quarterbacks to some extent
112:12because they both hold the ball forever.
112:14But the quick pressure is not if you're getting pressure in under two and a half seconds like that really isn't on the
112:19quarterback and the Jets are allowing that at the highest rate in the league.
112:22So to you know it's it's both.
112:24>> These guys can't get rid of the ball >> against the Carolina Panthers.
112:28>> Yeah, man. But it's both. It's like they I'm not excusing the quarterback play.
112:32The quarterback play has been really bad. But they also can't block.
112:38No, I I had this uh uh well, I tweeted this on Monday, but I did the Jets the pressure rate of the defenses that they
112:46have against the Jets and then their pressure rate versus removing the Jets from their pressure [laughter] rate.
112:50>> This is fun. Yeah, >> it's absolutely, dude. It is because again, like they played the Panthers, dude, who couldn't get a sack for their
112:57lives coming into Sunday and they have six sacks.
113:01>> Their pressure rate is 10% higher against the Jets. The Broncos even who we know get pressure. They had a a 17%
113:07jump in pressure uh against the Jets.
113:10The Cowboys plus 10%. The Miami Dolphins plus 26% pressure rate uh against them.
113:17The Buccaneers plus 12% against the Jets. The Bills plus 12%. The Steelers in week one were the only team that had
113:25a lower pressure rate against the Jets than everyone else. And like that we got hoodwinkedked again, man. I I even I
113:30remember being so excited in week one. I was like, "Wow, Tanner is doing all these things for Justin Fields that no
113:35no no one else did for him. Where did all that go?
113:38>> Where where where did it go?
113:41>> All that motion, all that motion, the quick passing game that was there in week one, we've never seen it again.
113:47>> It's never it's never been a part of the offense.
113:50>> I mean, I I've been like really unimpressed with with Eggstrand for most of the season." Yeah. It's I forgot that
113:56we at one point were a little optimistic. [laughter] feel it felt like just was another year, man. And >> yeah, I mean, the one thing I think is
114:06with Taylor, you're more likely to get passing volume, but that's not really about Taylor. That's just about their total lack of confidence in fields. But
114:13also, like, who cares? Like Josh Reynolds is your number one receiver. He had a 21% targets per out run last last week with
114:2393% routicipation and uh 0.69 yards per hour run. Arian Smith has had 72% and 93% rap participation over the last two
114:33weeks. Has not recorded a single yard.
114:36>> Incredible.
114:37>> Mason Taylor's probably going to miss the game.
114:40>> Tyler Johnson led the team in receiving on 11 routes.
114:49>> Honestly, I kind of hope they just sit down Bree, trade him. That's what I was Well, that's where I was going to we
114:54were going to get to is like is there any confidence? Like it's a glowing matchup for him, but like they're going
115:00to the buy. Do they trade him? Do they not? Is it does he get run? Like it's such a like last week we weren't in the
115:08Bruce Hall when he was looking to be kind of chalky because we we didn't like the matchup and everything and like it's
115:13the complete inverse here. Like >> man, >> what do we do with this week? What do we do with him? Do you play him at all?
115:20I'll talk myself into him if I like Bree Hall enough that I'll talk myself into him if he's if he's good to go. But I
115:26don't think it's it's good that I'm going to do that.
115:29>> Yeah, >> I don't think it's >> they have a Bengals RB1 score, four straight games, Jordan Mason, RJ Harvey, Josh Jacobs, Jaylen Warren. So, it's not
115:35even like elite dudes outside Josh Jacobs. Um they're getting flooded on inside zone, which is Bree Hall. Uh he's fourth in the NFL on inside zone run
115:44rate. The Bengals are 31st against those runs.
115:48But it's is what are we what are we doing?
115:53>> He's going to show up in the Sims and I'm going to be like I guess I just got to play him. I don't I don't see what
115:58else I can do than play Buris Hall. But um you know we can play trade him.
116:04>> We can play the Bengals though.
116:07>> We can play the Bengals for sure. Joe Flacco man.
116:11>> I like him.
116:12>> Slinging it.
116:13I like him.
116:14>> That throw he had to T. Higgins where it was like that that tight window over the middle. That's that's nice. You just you
116:21like to see that Browning has been so bad. Flaco's bringing some real life to this to this team in a way I didn't
116:27think he would. He sucked. He sucked for the Browns, but he's been really good, >> dude. He's He's made the offensive line
116:33look good, which I mean that was the best almost offensive line performance we've seen the Bengals have last week. I mean, he's only been pressured on 27%
116:41and 34% of his drop backs. That's eighth and 13th best. And that was facing the Packers and the Steelers.
116:47>> Like, he's he's his time to throw last week was second fastest in the league.
116:51The week before that, he had the fastest time to throw. Um, and then he also has the seventh best inaccurate throw rate
116:57those two weeks. Again, reiterating against the Packers and Steelers. Now he's facing a team that is 31st in pressure rate despite blitzing at the
117:07seventh highest rate in the league.
117:08Again, Aaron Glenn, what are you doing?
117:10They're 29th in passing points allowed per game and they're not going to have sauce Gardner this week already ruled out. And also like because this is a
117:18spot where you look at the Bengals and you're like this is where they finally get something out of Chase Brown, right?
117:22Like what if they can't run because the Jets actually like the complete overlap.
117:27>> The Jets have actually played the run well. It's like the only calling card they have. they actually should think about playing the run worse. They should
117:34think about giving up more yardage rushing because it's forcing teams to throw on them and like they can't get sacks and they're getting crushed
117:41through the air. Um like it's actually it is making them look like not worse exactly but more frustrating because they keep being in
117:50these games where like a normal team would win, you know, like they they're like holding the other team to like 10
117:56or 13 points and then they're losing. So just it doesn't be better off getting blown out.
118:02>> I used to say this about the Aaron Glenn Lions and I it just didn't register right now when before last year like
118:09remember the Lions always had like these awesome run defenses but they were just they would get killed in the pass game.
118:14It's like have you thought about just giving up some rushing yards? Just give up some rushing yards and make them not
118:20This is what's happening. And now you don't have S Gardner >> against Jamar Chase and T. Higgins like what if the Bengals like cuz it again
118:28like what if they just have to go throw the football to score points. This is what they have to do.
118:33>> Well, they don't have to. The Bengals don't ever need to pass to pass. They they had a 71% pass rate against the
118:39Steelers, 10% above expected. Um Zack Taylor like he he is very consistent like they they throw the ball. They they had Joe Flacco in his
118:49first game with the Bengals where he had less than a week to prepare against the Packers pass 73% of the time. Like th
119:00this is a really committed team. It's not a Burrow thing. It's a Taylor thing.
119:05They throw the ball. So I don't know that you need to be pushed here at all.
119:09Like you could you could have, >> you know, 68% pass rate here with the Bengals winning, you know, by 14 points.
119:18>> Yeah, I want I want to play Flaco doubles, >> but in the running back slate, it's hard to play Jamar Chase, too. Like,
119:25>> yeah, >> we talk about I think if you're playing Jamar Chase, >> you got to play Chase. You got to play
119:29Chase if you're doing that, I think, right?
119:30>> Oh, yeah. If you're playing Flacco, I think you always play Chase anyways. You don't necessarily have to do the double
119:34because it's expensive, but you're probably doing the outcome of what we talked about. If you're playing the Flaco doubles, you're probably not
119:41playing that might be the spot where you don't play the running backs and you're doing a Derrick Henry. Can you I don't
119:47know if you can fit Seaquan in that because Chase is so expensive, but that might be the path to where you're doing
119:54those. But this is like when you start to think through the lineups and then you're like you end up to go into like
119:58Woody Marks there. You you do realize kind of the absurdity of trying in a week and we'll get to Taylor, but it's
120:04like the it's not just these guys have a high ceiling. They have like Yeah, he scored 45 points. Like of course he did,
120:11you know, >> right?
120:12>> Woody Marks, you're bringing Woody Marks to a 45 point Jonathan Taylor gunfight, you know? So >> yeah, to be fair I mean to be fair like
120:20Henry Henry has that too. It's just >> Henry does have that >> as uh >> he just he just accesses it way less
120:28frequently.
120:29>> Let me see. I'm going to do not with T.
120:30Higgins and just see what the first thing spits out. And it actually has Bejan in it. Oh, this is a [ __ ] fire
120:38team, dude. Listen to this. All right.
120:39So, first one I did flack. Just Flacco and Chase, not the double.
120:42>> Flaco, Bejan, Dererick Henry, Jaylen Null with the projections updated, Chris Ave, Jamar Chase, Dalton Schultz, Rashad White, Bengals D. Like that's a pretty
120:52good lineup.
120:54>> That's a pretty good lineup. And I like the I like the Bengals D with uh >> with Flaco and and and Chase. That that
121:01makes sense. I see that script. That script makes sense to me.
121:04>> Yeah. Don't dupe that. If I if I put T.
121:07Higgins in with the double, it just removes Bejon to James Cook and it's the same exact lineup.
121:14>> That's a good lineup, too.
121:16>> So they So you can build Flaco doubles is what we're saying. That's basically what it came to. Uh, will that be the
121:22exact Flaco double I build? Maybe not.
121:25Because again, we talked about like Dvonte Smith is in that price range, but like those are pretty decent lineups that spit out. Way better than that
121:30first one we did where we tried to jam Taylor and Bejon together.
121:35>> Honestly, one of my takeaways there too is that Chase should be like pretty big. I mean, I know he's going to be chalk, but I I
121:43think >> but I don't think he will be because of the running backs.
121:47>> Because the running back's going to keep him in check. Yeah.
121:49>> Yeah. But Chase like he is getting absolutely fed and I'm I I kind of want to make sure I have some of him this
121:58week. So they're so the Jets actually are uh they already said to Aaron Glenn because for some reason he want wanted
122:07uh to to disclose this competitive advantage uh for some reason because again nothing he says ever makes sense but he already said that the player
122:15starting for uh S Gardner is their third round rookie as a was it Azar Thomas and he's only played 18 snaps all year and
122:24he's going to be guarding freaking Jamar Chase. Welcome. Welcome to the NFL, brother.
122:30>> Wow.
122:33Just just tell us your starting quarterback. Just making everyone's We have to write this stuff up, Aaron.
122:39>> It's again again any nothing he does is it's all it's a joke, dude.
122:46It's an absolute joke. If I was if I was a Jets fan, I'd just be like I remember when I um I was rooting for the Patriots
122:56obviously, which I hate I used to hate the Patriots, but I was rooting for them because of Drake May. And hearing people
123:03defend the idea of needing to give Gerard Mayo second year would just like like in my soul I just be like like and
123:12I guess with the the Jets you don't have they it's like what is the what's the f what is even the future
123:21like what do you do need to get rid of Glenn like he's he's he's building a culture but it's a bad
123:27culture so he's got to go. Um, but yeah, I mean it's like then you have like some good players on defense and then what?
123:34Hall's a free agent. They should probably trade him. Um, Garrett Wilson's good, but not enough. I mean, he's kind of the waddle to their Dolphins. It's
123:43bleak, man.
123:44>> It's very bleak, man.
123:48>> All that's left is Chase Brown. You can tell me what you're doing with him and then we could just we can move into the
123:51slate slate and close this thing down.
123:54>> Uh, Chase Brown, I don't think I'm gonna be playing in in DFS. good uh good run defense he's going against. Not the
124:02engine of the offense. Um I I want if I'm playing Bengals, I want to play Chase.
124:07>> Yes, >> that's really what it is.
124:10>> 100%.
124:10>> All right, Buccaneers. It's Saints.
124:13Baker Mayfield coming off a really rough game. Uh loses Mike Evans. Uh Amecha Buka is playing through a hamstring injury. He's missed practice again this
124:22week. Uh will play but clearly not 100%.
124:25We're looking at Tez Johnson, Sterling Shepard, and Ibuka as his receivers.
124:31Kate Attton potentially stepping up here depending on how healthy IKA is. Rashad White's still the back. Uh this is not a
124:39good rushing matchup, which makes things a little tougher for White, but he'll get tons of volume. And I've seen Mayfield projecting pretty well here,
124:49you know, with the Saints being a pretty pretty soft matchup. So, this is kind of a get-right spot for for Baker after um
124:55you know, the the Lions really inefficient performance, but he still does have issues with the receivers. So, it feels like a little bit fragile to me
125:03from you know, Baker stacks are definitely viable, but I'm not sure I'm as excited about them um as maybe some others in the industry. [snorts]
125:12>> Yeah, I'm saying for from a DFS perspective, I'm more interested in the the the alleart pieces. I think probably just white and um Eggbuka. Uh, I'm fine
125:21with Tez for season long stuff. I don't necessarily love him here. Um, I do think it's it's not like a glowing
125:27matchup in terms of like a great rushing defense, but I think it's at a significantly better spot than what Rashad Whites had since he's taken over.
125:34Uh, you know, Seahawks, 49ers, Lions with that offensive line. They just were never going to like you were never going to get any efficiency against those
125:41defenses. I don't even think Bucky Irving would have had a very like a lot of efficiency rushing. Um, so Saints are
125:4826 in success rate against the run and they've gotten worse as the season's gone on. Like we've started to see them
125:53like like give up some pretty good games here. Obviously, both Bears backs kind of got there against them last week. We
125:59saw James Cook a couple weeks ago, too.
126:00Uh, Scataboo had a nice combo game and like Rashad White saw offers that combo scoring. It's the most optimistic I've been about White since he's taken over.
126:08Um, do I think he's like a smash play?
126:10No. I just think he's in a better spot than he's been in uh since he took over.
126:14That's really kind of my pitch. And teams are running on the Saints. Yeah, >> it's like really my pitch and Yeah. Like
126:19they're going to win the game probably.
126:20It's like >> Right.
126:21>> Um Yeah, that's really that's really my pitch is just like that's that's the antithesis of it.
126:29>> I don't know, man. It was like how strong was that?
126:34>> It's tough. It's tough to get overly excited about Rashad White because >> he's that kind of play. Yeah.
126:39>> Yeah. It's just that like hey man, he's going to get all the work but he really really will. He had a 91% snap share
126:46against the Lions, 83% of carries, 76% of routes. He's at a 13% target share in each of the last three weeks. Um, yeah,
126:55he's he's the backfield. He is a backfield, which is always nice. So, he's a guy that doesn't seem he's I imagine he'll be reasonably high owned
127:05in the sense like he fits a lot of different builds, but he's not a priority for anybody.
127:09>> He's going to be the Sims dude.
127:12>> Yeah. Yeah. like last week's Breeze Hall but in a better spot. But like his projection is just going to look like
127:17people will get there because the projection will be the median projection is going to be too strong, >> right? And it's going to be like I'm
127:24definitely like I'm like locking Taylor or whatever and then like whites in that lineup. So like you didn't even it's not
127:31like you wanted line that lineup to have white necessarily, but he like he's going to help make some of these other
127:35these other lineups work. So, >> right.
127:39If if anyone's using any type of like uh Sims, he's going to he's just going to default. I think show up in that like
127:45he's going to show up.
127:47>> I think you're right. Which I mean, you could get off of it because it's not >> Yes, you can.
127:53>> Yeah, it's just the the tricky part with White is that he does get used around the goal line. Um, it's dude, the life
128:00cycle of this stuff is so funny because I was huge into Rashad White when he was a rookie because I was like, look,
128:06people don't get like this guy's big.
128:08It's You think he's a satellite back?
128:10He's not. He's like 217 pounds. Like, this is more like Charles Sims or Bucky Irving or some one of these guys. Uh,
128:17Bucky Irving. Buck Buck Allen. Uh, I didn't even know about Bucky Irving at the time. Buck, you know, Buck Allen, one of these bigger dudes that
128:24>> Buck Allen, >> yes, you catch the ball, but like you don't have to come off, you know, in short yardage stuff. And then,
128:32>> you know, a couple years into his career, he's he's getting all the work.
128:34And then it's like, but he's staying.
128:36>> That's what finally happened with Jaylen.
128:37>> Lucky Irving.
128:39>> Yeah. Yeah.
128:40>> Well, Warren's undersized, but he's he's so compact.
128:44>> He's thick. But >> it's a little different. Yeah.
128:47>> Yeah. He's >> Yeah, >> but he's always people always do the Jaylen Warren's Austin Eckler and I'm like, dude, he's
128:5320 pounds heavier than Austin Eckler.
128:56>> Yeah. Although he is that little like >> smaller. You don't think you see Warren and like you're like, "Oh, he's not."
129:02And then, you know, he just can like really put, you know, he he it's all muscle. Uh but yeah, anyway, Rashad
129:09White, it's not I'm no longer excited about this because uh Bucky Irving is better and I wish he were healthy, but
129:17um that's White White gets everything, you know, because he's he's big. He's actually big. He's good uh or good enough around the goal line. So pretty
129:26he he's to like he's a one of these guys who's like totally fine even as a chalk piece. I'm not excited about it, but I I
129:33will end up playing him some.
129:36Um the passing game I guess I'm a little bit more torn on because I like clearly not healthy, right?
129:44>> Well, he did practice in full. Uh okay.
129:48On Wednesday, like he missed Tuesday, then came back Wednesday and was like just practicing. And that tracks because like >> I thought he was
129:54>> he still was on the field for like 82% of the dropbacks last on Monday. like when we didn't even think he was gonna
130:00play.
130:00>> He he was limited Wednesday or sorry, Thursday, but he did practice in full today.
130:05>> Yeah. So, he seems like he's a go like a go- go.
130:10>> Okay. That definitely encou that that is encouraging that full practice cuz like he was like truly >> iffy for Monday and played through it.
130:19>> Well, it feels too like they're just like playing with fire. Like the way their season's gone like we're going to
130:26risk it. They're like, "Yeah, we are."
130:31>> And you know, Baker's been talking about how he hates the Saints. They haven't exactly played clean. You know, when we've played him, he said,
130:38>> "Yep." Yep.
130:39>> He's like, "I just don't like him."
130:40>> And it's And the matchup signals like all like Bua, too. Like, we've talked about the man zone stuff with him all
130:46year. No matter what side you get on, you get separation or not, it doesn't matter because it's man. And that happened on Monday. It happened again.
130:52Uh he only got one of caught one of five targets against man coverage on Monday.
130:57Um he's at 0.72 yards per hour running against man coverage, 2.66 yards per round against zone coverage. Saints 26 in rated man coverage. They basically
131:06live in cover three, cover four, and against those looks, he's got 42% of team air yards, two and a half yards per
131:11out run. Saints also just giving up the bag to wide receiver ones this year. Uh 30th in the league in yards for target
131:18allowed to wide receiver ones.
131:21Feels like a pretty good spot.
131:25Are you looking to stack this up with with Mayfield?
131:29>> Not really because I don't think I Mayfield's going to make my pool.
131:32>> Okay.
131:33>> Um I think I've told you like I'm typically usually like a four to five QB guy and I think my four my five is going
131:40to be uh Nick Stack and we'll get to those guys. Uh Jaylen Herz, Lamar, and Joe Flacco.
131:51>> Joe Flacco making that. That feels like a dog to make that list, but but there he is. So you So Flaco at 5,400 compared
132:00to uh like Williams at 56. Uh >> I have no problem with Williams though either because I like that game. I might
132:08actually make an inverse like you said do one single entry inverse of that game like uh um we talked about doing both
132:15sides. I think I probably will do that actually. But like guys, I'm gonna have like that will probably just a one
132:21lineup one.
132:22>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
132:23>> I'll probably do a Flaco double or I'll probably do a Flaco double and a Flacco single with iterations kind of what we
132:31did. Um and maybe do that where it's actually four different versions of it where it's Bejon and Taylor like to see
132:39if which one if one significantly beats the other. Like I won't force either one. I'll make a build with Taylor and a
132:44build with Bean.
132:46It's tough to find savings. So I I I the flacko call is pretty interesting because you do save a decent amount. You
132:55save a thousand from Mayfield for example. Um >> and I think I'm just going to play I think I'm just going to play white and I
133:04alakart.
133:07>> Do you have any interest in TZ?
133:10>> Very mild more seasonl long stuff. I have no like because he's like him and Sterling Shepard are like doing like the
133:15dual thing where they're both playing like inside outside like there's no clear like defined role. They're like >> trading off 50/50 slot inside. I would
133:23love for just one of the dudes to be just a strict in a strict position to have more >> because that's the one things people
133:30look at like I know there's excitement to have for TZ but like also like Sterling Shepard's getting enough to be a thorn.
133:37>> For sure. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. And you can always save a couple hundred bucks and go down to Jerry Judy. [laughter]
133:45>> How crazy is that? That's not a joke.
133:47He's $200 more than Judy.
133:49>> Yeah, he is. He is. And like Jerry Judy J's Jerry Judy probably projects to have double the amount of targets than Ted
133:55Johnson.
133:57>> That's wild.
133:58Oh man.
134:00>> At least Jerry Judy's now popping in Sims.
134:03>> He's Yeah, he might. You're gonna have to really bully bully the Sims to get Judy, I think. Um, >> I gotta be honest. I'm gonna play Judy,
134:11though.
134:12>> I think I am. I'm also I'm also gonna play Judy. [laughter] >> Don't tell anyone.
134:20>> Uh, Saint signed. Um, Grock said we were really high on Derek Carr last last week. Someone [laughter] someone asked Grock what we talked about and he said
134:32Derek Car stacks.
134:34>> Yep.
134:36Um, are you into Derek Carr again this week?
134:39>> No, but I think fine. I Hyo Hyo made a great pitch to do Rattler doubles again.
134:45Um, and he he had the wizard la he was the wizard last week. He was the one that said Nicks Knicks and Mims was the
134:51move.
134:52>> Uh, so uh I mean it's a game where I think Rattler like it's he's going to throw a ball 40 times I think in this
134:59game. So I that's where it is, right? Um because I don't think they're going to be able to line up and run the ball in
135:05this game. Like down Kendry Miller, down Eric McCoy against this defense. Like I just don't see any way they run the ball. So
135:15I could definitely see a ma massive drop that game. So that's the path. Um now and he stood up to pressure pretty well.
135:21So if you're like worried about like the Todd Bulls blitz stuff like >> Well, I'm more worried about what McCoy McCoy calls the protections.
135:28>> Yeah. So that that could really hurt in this game.
135:32>> Yeah, I'm worried about the just the seal. We just haven't had a ceiling for him is my kind of one reason why I'm not
135:38excited about it.
135:40>> And another guy that like I'm cool with either playing either receiver though.
135:43Like >> uh I mean it's it's a it's a great spot for a lav like I mean his usage is just
135:50so good. And now they're throwing the ball downfield. We have to we have to strip the like redacted the Jacobe Myers
135:56cup gone. Like it's >> Yeah, >> it's redacted. He's like 35% of his targets the past two weeks are 20 or
136:04more yards downfield. And like if he's going to get those targets, like everything else already was there, dude.
136:10He is 47% of the team's end zone targets. That's fifth in the NFL. He's been targeted on a career-high 29% of
136:19his routes. He's playing 38% of snaps in the slot. He's get 43 targets this year with pre- snap motion. Like it's third
136:25in the NFL. Like everything is there.
136:27And then in this game, he has against the Blitz, he has a 37% target share and a 49% share of the air yards with just
136:34under four yards per outr run. And like the Bucks against wide receiver ones, Jackson Smith and Jigba 8 for 132.
136:40Garrett Wilson 10 for 84. Almond 6 for 86. Kendrick Bourne 5 for 140. Like what are you gonna do, man? I know he's
136:49chalky like he's going to show up in all your sims and stuff. Like it's a good play again. Like what are you gonna do?
136:55>> Yeah. So, Hassan Reic is out for this game and Vita Vea is out is out for this game.
137:03Vea report >> or sorry, I shouldn't say out. He's questionable, but he dmpped again today.
137:10>> Um, >> okay. Yeah, I knew he was out.
137:11>> And he showed up on the injury report on Thursday, so it might I should look into this, but he may have injured it in
137:19practice because no designation DNP DNP with a foot.
137:24Um, but yeah, sorry. He's officially questionable, so we'll see. Reic is out.
137:29Um, it looked like it could be worse.
137:31Like Winfield was missing practice earlier in the week. He he got a full practice today, so he'll be all right.
137:36Um, and then Levante David was a DNP and then an LP and he practiced in full today, so he'll be all right. But, um,
137:43potentially being out Vea is is a pretty big deal. Um, >> yeah, >> best best pass rusher on the defensive line.
137:51>> Uh, >> he's so good, man.
137:53>> Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, if if they're out Vea, like that that definitely makes this more interesting, especially with them out their center. Um, kind of
138:01mitigates that a little bit. And then, um, you know, this is a tough, this is going to be a t match up either way
138:09because of the scheme and BS has been, it seems like they're like able to do more of what they want this year.
138:14They've been a little more sound on the back end. Um but yeah, I mean Olave Olave is still a positive aggression candidate. Like he's
138:25still after the last two weeks where he's been cooking uh it is at minus two fantasy points over expected per game.
138:33So I mean that that's 17 percentile that's you know he's leaving a lot of points on the table. Like his expected
138:38points per game are 17.1 97th percentile at wide receiver. Like the role really has been awesome. it supports what's been happening over the last two weeks.
138:47Um, >> yeah, the only thing I was tearing down like weekly with him was just like it was the low A dot stuff and I was like,
138:54you know, and then then and now he's just beating dudes downfield and it's like, all right, that was it. That was
138:58the last piece.
139:00>> 14.9 AD last week. Yeah. Or no, sorry, that was Shahed. What did Olive was at 20.3 that sold him short.
139:07>> Um, and 12.1 against the Patriots. So yeah, I I >> I'm happy to see it, too, because this is a player that I've like that we
139:15didn't have the fantasy results with for previous years, but he's good, man.
139:19>> I was like hell bent like this is a good player. Like he had over two yards per hour run on every year of his career.
139:23I'm like this is clearly a good football player and we just didn't have the fantasy intersection. So, I I want to be
139:28good because people >> the list I I wrote an article up on him uh in the offseason and the list of guys
139:35that have had two yards per hour run every year of their career in their first three seasons >> is nuts. Like it is it is a crazy crazy
139:44I'll end up pulling up here in a second, but it's it's yeah, it's wild. But yeah, I'm happy for a lobby to finally be
139:50producing. And what do you think about him in terms of ownership with Dvonte Smith opening up? I mean, he >> Yeah, it'll be it'll be something to
139:57follow. I mean, I think you can play both. I think both guys could be just you can play both, right? Like, if
140:01you're not if you're going to pay up for these running backs, they do I think those guys are going to fit those builds
140:06like really well.
140:08>> Yeah, >> because if Z Flowers was already popping at the same like right like he's more bankable. I like S Flowers a lot too,
140:15but >> I like S Flowers a lot too.
140:17>> But like you got mid the mid fives guys.
140:20>> Yeah. By the way, here is this list. Uh Odo Beckham, Mike Evans, Tyreek Hill, Michael Thomas, Cooper Cup, AJ Brown,
140:31Debo Samuel, Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, and Chris Olive. The guys still eligible uh were Puka Nakua who will do it. Um Jaden Reed who won't, Brian
140:43Thomas who won't, Lad Maki, who probably won't, and Malik Neighbors, who now won't. So yeah, it's a pretty pretty exclusive list that Puka Naku is going
140:52to join. Um, and Chris Lave is already on.
140:56>> Yeah.
140:57>> So, >> good good player, man. Happy to see it.
140:59>> Good player. Good player. Uh, >> and I don't know why they would trade him. Like, I know his name's come up,
141:05but like they already picked up his fifth year option.
141:06>> That was strange. Yeah, >> cuz Bree Hall has no option. Like, Bree Hall is just a free agent next year.
141:11Like, so they'd So, they'd have to tag him. The Saints already picked up a fifthear option. Like, they they have we
141:18have wiggle room. Like, why would you trade him? The other thing with OB is that because of the concussions, you're not going to get what you would normally
141:24get, >> right?
141:26>> So, and that could be nothing because we did it with Devonte Adams.
141:32>> It could be. Yeah. But I think another team like I think you're talking about like like an early second maybe for him.
141:42>> Yeah, they're probably teams are probably pitching threes.
141:45>> They're pitching threes. They're like, you know, that's what Pickkins went for.
141:48I'll give you I'll give you the pickings, but I don't think I I wouldn't do that if I were the Saints.
141:53>> No, I wouldn't either, especially just because you have control for another year. Like, you don't you don't have to get you don't have to extend him yet.
142:00>> Right. Right. And he's worth extending.
142:03So, >> Shahed is the guy that that seems plausible to trade because he's a UFA UFA this year.
142:09>> Yeah.
142:11Right. [sighs] But at the same time, like I don't know what what shouldn't you extend Shahed?
142:15If you have good receivers in house and you just trying to keep them, >> I would I would just I would just say
142:20like if you were going to trade one, it makes objectively like if you're going to if you're just trying to get a crew
142:24futures like it makes more sense to trade Shahid than than a lava.
142:28>> How is the team that's that's extended Taesm Hill not gotten a deal done with Rashid Shahid? Like also a joke.
142:34>> It's Mickey Lumis. There's always money in the banana stand. Like this dude is never he doesn't care. He just gives
142:39away contracts. Like it doesn't matter.
142:41They the Saints are perpetually every year they're like how are the Saints get into the cap? It's like Mickey Loom is
142:46like, "Watch this [ __ ] I got like >> I'm going to convince Derek Carr to retire and give us the money back." So,
142:51>> watch me restructure 42 contracts this off seasonason. Like every year, man, the people are like, "Saints are 20 million over the cap next year." And
142:57it's like, "Yeah, dude. They're not They'll be fine." Mickey L.
143:00>> They still have Michael Thomas on the cap.
143:02>> They're going to still sign a guy for a contract. You're like, "How do they do this?" [laughter] >> Oh, man.
143:09>> Yeah. I mean, they drafted Tyler Shuck.
143:12Um, so they're they're not like total wizards, but >> Oh, no. He they're not wizards. I I mean Mickey Luma should have tore this thing
143:18down a while ago. Yeah. One of their biggest problems was he keeps finding money in the banana stand. [laughter] >> Think that [ __ ] needs to burn down, bro.
143:25Like you got >> Yeah. Much like the [clears throat] actual banana stand.
143:29>> Exactly.
143:31>> Alvin Chimera here with Kendrick Miller tearing his ACL. He had 84% of snaps last week. and Devin Neil will probably
143:38mix in some, but like I don't know for seasonl long stuff I would say more than DFS. What are your thoughts on Chimera?
143:44>> Yeah, I mean when McCoy got hurt last year, he just died.
143:48>> So I don't, >> you know, with McCoy off the field last season, he went to 3.1 yards per carry with an explosive run on 5% of his runs.
143:57>> Um, and the Bucks, we'll see who's up, but you know, Bucks are a good run defense, too. This would be more of like
144:02you're looking for the PPR suckout for Chimera. Uh, >> and he doesn't have a touchdown since week one. And we don't actually don't
144:11even know if he's the goal line back anymore because they've got Taesm Hill.
144:16>> Last time the Saints ran the ball from the one yard line, it was Taesm Hill.
144:21>> Good lord. All right, let's go to the Cowboys at Broncos.
144:26>> There's a [laughter] lot I feel we've had a lot of games and that's sighing.
144:32Jack not last last week we were more excited about some of these game environments. Um >> what's a lot of these one-sided just
144:38onesided >> lot of one side. Yeah.
144:40>> This one this is this is like the game environment right and >> yeah you should we did it again. You
144:45should have saved this one for last. We should call Titans.
144:48>> Do you want to We can do it. We can do Cold Titans >> cuz didn't we do this last thing? We
144:51did. We did.
144:53Okay.
144:54>> Yeah. Let's do Cult Titans first. We'll save the good one. We'll save the good one. Um, where are you at on
145:01>> that time, bros? [laughter] >> Fake out. We just Aaron Glend, dude.
145:10Competitive advantage.
145:11>> Competitive advantage. Stay for the whole video. [laughter] >> I I mean, I remain similar to you out. I remain saying just whatever. Like I I
145:22mean, I just he needs more runway. It's objectively bad. I can't make a case for him, but like I just want to see more.
145:27Um, you're going to be very disappointed that on my props show I actually gave out the Cam Ward passing yards over.
145:34>> I'm not disappointed. I'm not disappointed. I think this could be his highest passing yardage of the season fairly easily because they're going to
145:42get absolutely smoked and they're just going to have to throw a ton.
145:46>> So, and the thing about Ward, I've made this case previously, I'll make it again. He is playing so so bad that it's
145:55hard to be this bad. It's hard to be as bad as Cam Ward has been. And at some point he'll probably just turn in one of
146:02those Flacco games. You go, "Oh [ __ ] maybe this guy's got something left."
146:07and uh you know finishes the season like quarterback 36 in the EPA per game, but you know currently he's he's well
146:17actually JJ McCarthy is dead last, but Ward is second worst.
146:22So yeah, I mean I think I think that from like a medium-term perspective, Ward is just bad. Um but bad quarterbacks can put up garbage time
146:33production. So, I think totally >> Yeah, it was just his his passing yard guard's over. He's just been he's been kidding. This the market's too low on it
146:41and then they're too low on the Colts uh just forcing every team to throw because the Colts they don't they don't mess
146:48they have not messed around this year.
146:49Like these games they're supposed to win like these games are not close. They're crushing these bad teams.
146:55>> Opponents have a 70% pass rate against the Colts this year. a 4% pass rate of expected and in pass rate expected
147:02they're shifting 3% toward the pass. So it's like uh >> they've led by double digit points for 38% of their offensive snaps this year.
147:11>> They're pass funnel. They're just straight up a pass funnel. You got to throw against the Colts. It's not really a matchup thing which makes a little
147:18tougher.
147:18>> Yeah. Yeah.
147:19>> It's just you're you're screwed. So >> it's helped they've had a bunch of quarterback injuries.
147:25>> Well, and and that that continues this week. Ward remains on IR. I I noted last week that Chris Lammons, who'd been
147:32their nickel corner, had been playing pretty well and that maybe Kenny Moore would play on the outside when he came back. He didn't. He replaced Lammons and
147:39Moore has actually not been that good this year in terms of like yardage allowed per snap.
147:44>> Um, but that left Mai Blackman and Jonathan Edwards on the outside. Both guys have been major liabilities. Um, so yeah, I mean that's another reason why
147:55if you're look if you want me to look silly for just hammering Ward is like like you could already called him a
148:02bust. Like that's where I'm at. Like I I think very likely is a bust. Uh not guaranteed, but just I don't really get
148:09like why there's there's still so much optimism for him. Like you know like what what are the Titans going to do
148:14next year? Like what's the alternative >> to just >> to to reset to do the Josh Rosen and to be like this didn't work.
148:22>> It still could happen. Like it's >> I would roen it. I mean obviously we're halfway through so >> they're obviously gonna they're
148:27obviously getting a new head coach. So >> what I would honestly do is not go anywhere near that job.
148:36>> Absolutely not.
148:36>> Talked about it last week. Don't do it, man.
148:38>> Don't make this the one shot you get.
148:42Like if it was going to be at least get him fresh out right out of the draft, you know, a whole year of a terrible
148:49offensive line and bad habits of him just chucking it up and whatever the fumble thing is. I mean, I don't know what what's going on there.
148:58Anyway, >> I mean, I'm not playing. I was just I just >> Yeah, but you know, I've got to do for
149:05the ship cast, we do the um the overs.
149:08uh usually overs cuz we watch the games and it's not very fun to pick unders.
149:11>> Um and so for the pickhams and >> I've done a ward one and end it hit >> and maybe I go back to the wall this
149:18week. I promised the guys I would stop with the ward stuff. Um but maybe I'll go back to it.
149:23>> Yeah. Well, the books just keep setting like his his line at like two basically like 200 passing yards every week and
149:28like he just keeps getting there and then >> Yeah, >> man. It's great. He very small improvements these last two weeks for
149:35him in terms of like completion rate stuff. Uh he also is coming off of a season high seven and a half yards or
149:41pass. It's like nothing to throw a party about. But very >> high success rate 52% 52nd percentile success rate not 52%. That would be that
149:50would be good.
149:50>> And the one thing I will say about them last week is they could have easily turtled in the after the head coaching
149:56change and just said hey we're going to run Tony Pard and Taj Spears a bunch.
150:00And they didn't. And they didn't do that.
150:02I do I I know that too. 76% pass rate, highest of the season. So they're still doing the Brian Callahan stuff and and
150:09he came from Zack Taylor and and you know passed a ton last year with Levis and Rudolph and stuff. So that was not a
150:16guarantee. So that was nice to see.
150:18>> But if you're going to do any stuff like with the Titans, it's all just like player prop stuff. Like you're not
150:21getting these guys in DFS, whether it be DK. Um it's just this what do you what do you >> I'm not playing the running backs.
150:29>> No. Oh, absolutely not.
150:31Yeah, you could maybe talk me into DK as like a punt DFS thing in large field. I don't know. 67% round participation and
150:40>> it'll probably go up with locket with locket gone.
150:43>> Yeah. Yeah, probably go up. Um >> at least a little bit.
150:46>> And Ward like that that one throw he had on the DK touchdown was sick. Like I under I on some level I do understand
150:52the um the optimism because when Ward looks good he looks awesome but when he doesn't look good it's >> yeah I feel the same way about Michael
151:00Penn too like because when Michael Pennix like he's got such a howitzer like he makes throws I'm like man what a
151:05laser beam and like totally >> the other 70% of the snaps I'm just like what is what do we have here?
151:11>> I mean his efficiency has been okay at least it's like you're in a range where like I mean it's mediocre but it's not
151:16disastrous.
151:16>> His infrastructure is a lot stronger.
151:18It's way better. It's way better. Yeah.
151:20Yeah.
151:22>> I love Zack Rob.
151:23>> I hope Ward eventually proves me wrong.
151:25>> I think Zack Rob play in the league, but >> Oh, go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. I hope so, too. We Yeah. And people always say
151:30like, you know, do you want to root for your takes? I'm like, I want as many good fantasy players as possible.
151:35>> Yeah. I think just has a really like So, the pessimism for me on Ward is that like it's it's got to be like a lot has to change
151:45basically. If you if you give me a new coach who, you know, hey, you ignored my advice, but you know, I'm glad you
151:53turned glad you turned this guy around, then then I'm into it. But I I just I I really struggle to see how
151:57>> especially at quarterbacks. I'm happy to be wrong. Like I'm happy to be wrong with quarterbacks.
152:02>> Me, too.
152:03>> We have one here in Daniel Jones. Very happy to be wrong about Daniel Jones.
152:07>> Let's talk about it. Daniel Jones absolutely crushing this year. Um I've noted like his success rate's been so good that it's like gonna regress. Well,
152:15it has regressed. Okay. He's now at a rate that's like normalish. It's a very very good, but it's not like outlandishly good. His EPA per game and
152:26success rate, he's basically overlapping with Patrick Mahomes, except Jones has been slightly better. Um, I mean, he's been every single game this
152:35year he's been good except the Rams. Uh, he was 42nd percentile paper play. And uh the one thing I would say or two
152:42things I would say if they can't play from ahead uh I'd be a little bit worried about Jones. And if they're
152:47facing a legitimate pass rush, I would be worried about Jones. He's playing the Titans as 14 and a half point home
152:53favorites >> without Jeffrey Simmons.
152:55>> He'll be just fine without without Jeffrey Simmons. One of the best DT1 in past rush win rate >> and legious need was put on IR. So yeah,
153:05cool. Cool. Titans fans, you have even more to root for.
153:09Yeah, it is rough. Um I'm really glad we did this game before the Broncos Cowboys. I'll say that.
153:15>> Yeah, let's was right to pivot.
153:16But again, like but even we have a a team with a 30point team total and how confident are you playing any of
153:23these passing pieces?
153:27>> Not. Yeah, it's spread out enough. I mean, Warren is going to Warren's going to do something. So, >> but he's expensive now and you can feel
153:34good. The last time these teams played, the Colts had a 36% drop back rate in the second half.
153:42Tyler Warren ran eight pass routes in the second half the last time these teams played. And you paid a premium for
153:47him now. Like this isn't week three Tyler Warren.
153:50>> He can definitely score a touchdown and still be efficient from like a a yard throw out run stance and a high usage
153:56rate, but like >> are we going to get the run out this week?
154:02>> I It's tough, man. I don't they just don't need it. They they don't need to pass. Like they and so much of what they
154:09do is built on the run. Like they do pass. I think your best chance here is that like so the Colts on first and 10
154:16have had pass rates over expected of 5 2 13 6 and uh two and 19%. Uh week by week. So,
154:27every single week, positive pass rate of expected on first down. Sometimes quite high, including against the against the Titans. That's that's the uh the 13% was
154:36against the Titans in week three.
154:38They're prioritizing the pass when you don't know whether they're going to run or pass, which is smart, and it's helping Daniel Jones out. And so, maybe
154:47Daniel Jones is like really efficient on early down passing and um and you know, gets the touchdowns. I think that's that's where the passing game ends up
154:56crushing here. And I mean there's a good chance of that cuz it's a really good matchup against a beat up and bad
155:00defense, but fundamentally they are a run first team. Um they've peaked at a 68% pass rate against the Rams. Other than that, uh it was actually last week
155:10they were at 64% and they've been below 60% in every other game. Uh against the Titans they were at 54%. So they're
155:17they're going to run the ball a bunch.
155:18Um Taylor is just an absolute smash here. I noted for him first three years of his career in PFS PFF pass block grade among running backs
155:29he was ranked 106 103 and 99.
155:33Then in 2023 and 2024 jumps to running back 51 and running back 69.
155:38So wasn't good but you didn't like have to like worry about it so much. This year he's running back nine in pass
155:44block grade. His snaps are immaculate.
155:5087% last week, 92% the week before. He's not leaving the field at all. And we're getting these target shares now. Some of
155:56this is Jones instead of Richardson for sure, but these consistent target shares, 17, 16, 14, 13, and nine over the last uh five weeks.
156:06>> Started the season at 10 and six. Um 10 against the Dolphins, 6% against the >> careerhigh receptions per game, >> 12% target share for the I mean, that's
156:15like that's not, you know, oh man, this guy's a receiving back, but that's like that classic.
156:20>> He's better.
156:21>> Yeah. He was always the guy that if you didn't he was never catching passes, >> right? He's like he was a Derrick Henry
156:27type or Nick Chub type. Not anymore.
156:30>> Not anymore. So, yeah. I mean, he's just he he's not even fragile. It's not even a bad like, oh, if they keep him in
156:37check and doesn't score a touchdown, like, no, he'll catch he'll catch some passes and and he will score a touchdown. So,
156:45touchdowns.
156:45>> Yeah. Yeah.
156:47>> Yeah. Just jam him in.
156:49>> Jam him in, man.
156:51>> I mean, he's Think about I mean, he's been 10K like uh on FanDuel and like over 9K for multiple weeks and like you
156:57still needed him.
156:59>> Yep.
157:01They're they're implied team total is over 30 points and they're I think they're going to hit it.
157:07>> This team is just they're a wagon, dude.
157:10>> Yeah, they're a wagon. They are [ __ ] wagon.
157:17>> All right. Uh let's move to the final game environment. Unless there's any there any other >> No.
157:23>> Little nuggets. No. Yeah. Um I think Downs is okay for for season long stuff.
157:28I'll note that.
157:29>> Yeah. All those even Pierce has made a little surge too like >> Yeah. Although that was with Downs out.
157:34Um >> yeah, but even before he was getting uh some he was like just looking good. like he was cuz Pice used to be that guy like
157:41if he didn't c catch a long pass he was a zero >> and like he's he's been like living around like the 50 yard mark which on a
157:47week like this [clears throat] is like usable.
157:51>> Yeah. And downs downs I would say is a little thin because he's uh >> they're not going to run much 11
157:55personnel this week probably but in season long I think he's he's viable like wide receiver four type. Um all right Cowboys at Broncos kick us off
158:04here.
158:05Uh yeah, I mean it all just like this game I think has a little more volatility than I think the field sees
158:10it, but I think the upside still exists there as well. I mean, you know, we've h seen the Broncos, even putting respect
158:17on their defense, we've seen them play in some games that are high and tight and give up some passing production.
158:22Obviously, you know, this year we had the Daniel Jones game that was high and tight. He had 300 yards. Herbert had 300
158:28yards against them. A tight, you know, it's only 43 total points, but it was still a good game. Her Jaylen Herz do
158:33for 280 yards against them. Jackson Dart 283. You go back to last year. The game I think it's the most comparable to like
158:39what the Cowboys do offensively is the Bengals game from last year and then they had the shootout with the Browns and like the Jamus Heron fire game. So
158:47there is a path for upside here. I wish this game was in Dallas uh just because this offense has been a little
158:52Jacqueline Hyde uh you know going back for multiple seasons now. They're they're not like quite Lionsesque, but there is some adjacency to like you love
159:00you love them at home and like they could still be good on the road, but like they're just not quite as good.
159:05>> Uh so there's a little bit of that still too. But I do think that the path for upside to this game still exists and
159:11we've seen evidence of it that even though the Broncos are a good defense and we can get we'll start breaking down
159:16some individual matchup stuff though just from a top down perspective. I could see this game still being a game that gets there and is fun and is hot.
159:24I'm optimistic for this game. I think the Cowboys like what do what do you think about the man coverage stuff because the Cowboys aren't they like
159:34Broncos blitz and they play a bunch of man?
159:36>> Yep.
159:37>> Dak's great against the blitz and they've got two number one wide receivers. Like isn't that exactly how you beat a man coverage blitzing
159:44defense?
159:46That's why I said uh I think the one game that I think is evidenced because it's funny because you know like Lamb
159:51this year is being used like how Jamar Chase is too like we have the kind of the blueprint for like and then you add
159:56Jake Ferguson to this although his usage is super having one of the most bizarre seasons like uh underlying metrics we'll talk about him but you had this matchup
160:05last year that was a shootout with the Bengals and what happens is so the the Broncos will use Patrick Satan to shadow
160:12on the outside but like he doesn't like He's not like the old school Darl Rivas.
160:16He doesn't follow a guy around like really ever. He's only played 20 snaps in the slot all year. Last year, like we
160:21saw this with Jamar Chase had the nine for 100 on 15 targets in that game because he played 35% of his snaps in
160:27the slot. That's where Lamb is this year. Typically Lamb used to be higher.
160:30He used to be like a 50-50 player like an Aman Ros St. round, but like more explosive juice outside. But because
160:35Cavante Turpin's playing more snaps, like it's reduced Lamb's like full on slot role when they go 11 because Turpin really can't do much of anything else as
160:43a rural receiver. Uh but it does allow Lamb to move away from Certan. And when Lamb's outside, he'll probably see Certan, which again has a trickle down
160:53effect, too, because that means Pickkins will see a lot more Riley Moss.
160:56>> Yes, Pickkins will see Riley Moss. We saw Riley Moss, who's been a good player these past couple years, but when Riley
161:02Moss lined up against T. Higgins, a very similar archetype receiver as George Pickins, he got the business in that game last year. So, it'll probably be
161:11when Lamb's outside, we'll see Certan.
161:13He can move away inside and get some opportunities away. And then same thing like when Lamb moves inside, Certan will be on Pickkins. And when Lamb goes
161:21outside, Pickkins uh will probably see Riley Moss. Uh so you have that for you, too. So, that's how I see it kind of
161:27playing out in terms of uh like the deployment and what the Broncos are going to do is just what version of
161:32Riley Moss do we get?
161:35>> Yeah. And in the slot, the who who who he be going up against in the slot? I have to pull it up.
161:42>> Oh, uh the secondyear guy. Um I know his name, too. Um Jac drafted. I know it too. Definitely begins with a J.
161:52But I mean that's it's like it's just not the certain stuff just doesn't scare me that much because >> no we talk about
162:00>> completely shadowing him.
162:02>> We we talk like the era of like quarterback wide receiver matchups like has died for a reason because these guys
162:08NFL is predicated on even teams that play a lot of man like the Broncos. It's still like a 45% rate like you know
162:14Right.
162:16>> Yeah. So I mean and then the thing too is that like I think so the Cowboys have protect the part that would probably
162:23worry me the most >> Jaquan McMillan was his name. I knew it was a J.
162:27>> Okay McMillan. Um the pass rush for the Broncos have been awesome. Um and so you've got by the way McMillan and
162:37Moss have both been like okay this year and Certan in terms of yards per snap has been what you would expect has been
162:43awesome. Um but yeah, it's the secondary is good. We know that. Um but the pass rush, they're first in pressure rate,
162:51fourth in quick pressure rate, fourth in blitz per drop back. Um so they do blitz to get there, but they get there. Uh the
162:57Cowboys are fifth best in preventing quick pressure, and um sixth best in preventing pressure overall. So, you know, kind of strength on strength.
163:08I would give the edge here to the Broncos uh pass rush, but you know, could this be even if >> the Broncos pass rush kind of controls
163:18things, could this be kind of like the Eagles last week where it's like, yeah, there's a low success rate for the
163:24Cowboys passing offense, but when they're actually getting >> they're chunks, >> plays, they're big plays. Yeah, they're big plays. And I think I think you have
163:33that out. You also have the out that the Broncos don't harass Prescott and that he's able to he has answers for what
163:40they're throwing at him.
163:40>> He he's typically been one of these quarterbacks. If you want to blitz him, go ahead because he doesn't care.
163:46>> Fourth in EPA per blitz drop back this year and has been awesome against the Blitz over the course of his career
163:52since 2023. He ranks quarterback three in EPA per blitz drop back behind only Gene Daniels and Brock Perie. Um, and he's been great uh against man as well
164:01since 2023. Only Jared Goff has a higher EPA per play against man. And he's got the horses, man. Like this is
164:08>> Yeah, >> it's it's your guys versus our guys.
164:10Well, that you've got CD Lamb and George Pickkins. I think I want your guys, you know? Uh, so I this is I think it's kind
164:18of the fun version of the way I talked up the Patriots. Like, hey, I think they can still score points here. It's like,
164:22yeah, but to what end? Like, are they winning you a tournament? You know, I'll probably play a Drake double just for
164:27the fun of it. But like Dak is probably how you actually win a tournament. Like if he can withstand this here or Bo
164:36Nicks is how you win a tournament and you have CD Lamb coming back or something like that and this game environment goes nuts. Um you could
164:42certainly see that also working because he gets he actually gets the really soft matchup. Um do you have anything else on
164:49the Cowboys before we move to the Broncos?
164:51>> You know, I think this is passing game only. I think the one cowboy I think is I think the cowboy that's the most
164:56fragile here is Javvante and I know it's the revenge game and we do the revenge game stuff but um only Jonathan Taylor
165:04has rushed for se more than 70 yards against the Broncos this season and going back to last year the only running
165:10back to rush for 100 yards against them is Jonathan Taylor who did it twice uh since week 10 last year. I think this is
165:16a game where you can still get a touchdown from Javante Williams, but I don't think we're getting like 100 yard bonuses and stuff like that from him.
165:23You maybe get some more uh additional receiving stuff for him because the quick pressure stuff, but I I I don't think he's the one Cowboy I'm not even
165:31I'm have zero of him this week.
165:33>> Are you playing Ferguson?
165:34>> I mean, yes. More season.
165:37Yes, I'm gonna play a little bit of Ferguson because of the quick pressure stuff as I think that still could aid
165:42him, but I'm not as confident Ferguson because this I hate the salary bump that he has.
165:47>> Yeah, that that's that's why I kind of made that adjustment to season long because it's 6,000. It's a little tough.
165:52>> Well, because he's the dude when you look at his underlying metrics, it feels like such a house of cards. Like
165:58>> totally.
165:59>> I mean, this dude is averaging 3.9 air yards per target, six and a half yards per catch. The whole train is built out
166:06of just getting a lot of targets and getting in the end zone. Like >> yeah, he he is 96 percentile on open
166:12score. Um and he's getting he's getting a ton of target. He's you know >> I think this matchup keep the volume up. Yeah, I think and
166:21and he's, you know, when they played the Giants um back in week two or whatever, I had CD Lamb as a cover boy, the walkth
166:28through and was very excited about that and, you know, the game ends up going kind of nuts, but Malik Neighbors goes
166:35nuts on the other side and Ferguson is just racking up targets because of the pass rush. He has a super super shallow
166:41ADO. Um, and that kind of sets up similarly this week where they could just be getting the ball out really quickly. I think if they're getting the
166:50ball out really quickly, it's it's Ferguson, not Javvante, who could who could rack up targets.
166:55>> That's Yeah, I I that's why I'm sticking with it still. And he and the touchdown equity has been there like the last few
167:01weeks.
167:01>> Yeah.
167:01>> So, I mean, it's funny is this dude this dude couldn't score a touchdown for two years. Now, it's >> Well, he scored three in a game and then
167:06he couldn't score then that's the whole season he used up apparently.
167:10>> And now he can't keep him out, man.
167:13>> Yeah. So, I mean, I agree with you. Like he's he's averaging 1.8 eight points uh fantasy points over expected per game.
167:20So, I mean, he's he's running really hot, but at at the same time, the expected points are 15.4 per game, which
167:26is amazing. So, I I kind of I don't know. I don't think I can do it at 6,000. Like, it's it's a
167:32>> it's it's very expensive. Um >> and in a in a week where salary is tight and there's so many other things I want
167:37to spend up for other than Jake Ferguson. So, I don't think I'm playing him, but I could see him having a really
167:42strong game here. Well, I think he the only reason I'm keeping him alive is for the the full onslaught of this game
167:48because the Broncos have cheap pass catchers.
167:52>> Okay. Well, one of the cheap pass catchers is actually Evan Ingram, who I've I'm a little intrigued by here. Um,
167:59he was 66% round participation last week, which if he was in that range would be like way way easier than, you
168:06know, the 50% that he's typically at. I mean, that's >> more Dalton Concade. If he was Denver Dalton Concade, you'd live with it.
168:13>> I think he might be now, especially in this game environment.
168:16>> I think he'll be here. Yeah.
168:18>> Yeah. Yeah. So, he's someone that kind of I'm intrigued by. I'm a little less intrigued by like the the part-time
168:25receivers. Sutton is probably my favorite way to just play this other than Knicks cuz >> um he's so clearly the number one wide
168:33receiver and I just want to bet on this game environment in a super soft matchup. and the Cowboys also being down. Uh Malik Hooker who's on injured
168:44reserve and then I need to check Donovan Wilson and uh Trayvon Diggs had back out. Okay.
168:52>> So I mean this is a really really bad uh secondary now with the injuries and they're already looking terrible. Um
169:00>> and and they're not going to be able to do what they did last week here. Uh so like Dallas Oh,
169:04>> Wilson's out too. Donovan Wilson's also out.
169:08>> Yeah, they last week >> three starters >> and they went super manheavy last week because they can get away with it. It
169:14was the first time this year they went manheavy and it's because the other team was starting Chris Morris as their wide
169:18receiver one.
169:20>> Yeah, they're not that again.
169:22>> I don't think they're rolling back that rate of man coverage that we saw last week. Um >> no, it's back to this crap soft zone
169:29they've been doing and get they've been getting beat up on it >> and you be if they do go man, great.
169:34like bring it on.
169:35>> We would love it. Yeah, we would love it. Well, especially with the personnel, but I I I have to believe that they
169:40adjusted last week based on again Chris Mor.
169:43>> I think so, too.
169:45>> No, they were just like, you literally don't have any receivers. You can't >> please try to beat us with these guys.
169:49>> Yeah, but but with three dudes in a secondary out, both safeties and a quarterback out, um I don't think they
169:56do that. And if they do, like, holy man. Sutton will feast. He He's He's good against man.
170:03>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's where you want him.
170:06Yeah, I I mean I love Sutton. He's the clear guy to stack. I do like a I like Troy Franklin. Mims is going to get
170:12steamed, I think, or get chased. But I >> I'm not doing Mims.
170:17>> Oh god, no. The most DFS [ __ ] we ever, right? Like [laughter] but I don't think they like I think it
170:24So Franklin Yeah, they're still rotating guys in, but this is just like an in I would only include Franklin in like in
170:31the stacks of the Bonicks here. Um he's like just staying at like the 75% range.
170:36Like Pat Pat Bryant's good enough. Your boy Pat Bryant this week you need uh is getting just enough uh to cut into that.
170:43But I don't think people realize like this like Troy Franklin has like a legitimate red zone and endzone role like and he's it's like been steady like
170:51he >> Well, some of his role is when the ball goes bouncing off of other guys. Yeah, >> dude. But do you
170:58he's got he's the wide receiver six in red zone target share right now. Uh, he's 11 red zone targets. Asterx 10 red
171:06zone targets.
171:07>> Yeah. Well, that might not even be a target.
171:09>> I don't know if they count that. He also he also has three end zone targets and that doesn't even count these plays. Uh,
171:16so he has two two-point conversions on plays that were like dialed for him like they so like these are designed like
171:21they're clearly like there's a like in this area of the field like he's he's getting designed usage. Do you think that's actually bearish because this is
171:29a playoff team and they're using up the Troy Franklin two-pointers during the season and they have the good stuffs for later.
171:34>> I don't know. They needed those twos last week, man. [laughter] Uh >> but they did. You're right.
171:39>> I just mean you So if you're making me and No, you don't have to play Troy Finland. I'm just saying if you're
171:43making me pick a Denver wide receiver that's not Courtland Sutton, you're getting a guy that's still running the most routes behind Courtland Sutton and
171:50has the largest end zone role at significantly lower ownership than Marvin Ms.
171:56Like I'm gonna always bet on the other the the four.
171:59>> It's so gadgety with Mims, you know, like and I guess they probably >> He's fun to pick. People love like
172:05people like it. It's he does have great mans coverage stuff because he gets the splash plays, >> right?
172:11>> But we don't know again like you're counting on what does Dallas do.
172:14>> Again, like I'm just going to follow the guy and Franklin could be terrible. Like he legitimately has been terrible for
172:19like four of the games. It's just like he's consistently the guy that's out there the most and gets utilized. Like, why would I not play that guy in the
172:26spot if if we believe the game is doing the the game stuff?
172:29>> The game's doing the heavy lifting.
172:30Yeah.
172:31>> Why wouldn't we just take the guy that's on the field and getting endzone looks?
172:36>> Yeah. But then what happens to my brain is that I make that case for Franklin and then I go, why don't I just play
172:43Sutton then?
172:44>> Well, you should play Sutton. That's my thing. Like, I'm serious. like if you're doing Knicks doubles and stuff like that. Um,
172:50>> but Nicks doubles I think I I think I would do it with Ingram is kind of where I where I've landed this morning anyway.
172:55I I think Franklin and Mims are both playable, so I'm not saying, you know, oh, you got to cross them off at
173:02>> Yeah. It's not trying to jam, man.
173:05>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Ingram is is 4,100, so I guess he's a little more expensive than you'd prefer, but >> Well, he's more expensive than he should
173:14be.
173:16Yeah, >> he should be 4,100.
173:19>> You're like, hey, in the, you know, if it could it be a two tight end week where I'm like, I'm about to play I was
173:25about to play Troy Franklin for 4,200.
173:27What if I >> going down to Evan Ingram?
173:30>> I guess they're both they're pretty pretty equivalent, I suppose.
173:33>> What have you is only 39.
173:43God damn it.
173:49>> We're playing Jerry Judy.
173:53>> He's cheat. Troy Franklin's more expensive than Jerry Judy.
173:56>> Yeah. You know what? I agree with DraftKings, but I'm still probably gonna play Judy. [laughter] Oh man. Um JK Dobbins I think is a
174:09legitimate pivot this week. Uh, a way to bet on this game environment, a way to bet on the Broncos. Uh, >> well, he's the bet on this game failing,
174:19right? Like he's the bet like you would do JK Dobbins and no one else from this game.
174:25>> Yeah, I guess you're right. Yeah, but yeah, I mean, you're I still think you're the Broncos have an implied team
174:32total of 27 and I'm just trying to get those touchdowns. So, I don't I don't know that the game needs to like
174:38completely fail. It's just that like Dobbins gets the gets the touchdowns and I'm I'm in like pretty good shape. I'm probably only scoring, you know,
174:46somewhere in I'm scoring like 24 points if I'm lucky. You know, half the points are touchdowns, but um I've saved the
174:55salary and you know, these guys stay in check where it's like Taylor scores 33, but I've got now I've got so much salary
175:02to work with and I'll beat you. Um I'll find I'll find 10 points with the rest of the salary or whatever, right? So, I
175:08think that's kind of the play. And of the kind of mid-range pivot guys that we've talked about, I think he is the
175:14most interesting because the Cowboys are bad against the run as well. And it's it's a pretty high um you know, implied
175:21team total with Dobbins having a clear lead. Man, I guess he he really did forget his helmet.
175:29>> Well, yeah. And then, you know, RJ Harvey's just anytime that they hand the ball off to him, he he runs into his own
175:36guy.
175:37Yeah, not not ideal.
175:39>> I mean, it's funny is like I wish these guys were one player so badly. Like it drives I just wish they were one player.
175:45I mean because you know we we we have JK Dobbins in a role like if he doesn't score a touchdown he's unusable because
175:51he's running a route on 30% of the dropbacks. He has seven catches this year for 22 yards. Like and then Harvey's the complete inverse. Like this
176:01dude has 10 runs for 16 yards over the past three games. like you're and but he's getting you he's getting just a
176:07little sprinkling of pass catching. I just wish they were one guy. I want >> a >> little bit. I had a 5% target share last
176:12week.
176:13>> Yeah, just Denver running back. Just Denver >> Denver running back would be good.
176:17>> That'd be a good play.
176:18>> Damn it, Sean.
176:19>> Because then you'd also get Bedet, you know, you get Mlofflin, you get every Shawn Pay.
176:27>> Um thoughts on Knicks here because he's been so up and down this year, but I mean obviously quarter.
176:35>> It does have some volatility.
176:37>> It does.
176:40>> Nick has been pretty bad most of the year.
176:44>> Nicks has been pretty bad, man. His success rate is really bad. Success rate. Here's the quarterbacks behind him in success rate. Dylan Gabriel, Cam
176:53Ward, Cooper Rush, and Joe Flacco. End of the list. It's It's rough. I mean, >> they were losing 19 to nothing for a
177:00reason last week.
177:01>> Yeah. Going >> into the fourth quarter. when he has good plays, they're often very good.
177:06He's also behind an elite offensive line. Like he is the type of quarterback who you would expect to be like frustratingly inconsistent, but then
177:12when it clicks, it for it to like really click.
177:15But I wish they would just let him play though, like last week. Like Shawn Payeyton is so indoctrinated into trying to make Bo Knicks new Drew Brees that I
177:24think it makes Knicks worse.
177:25>> Like I think you're right.
177:27>> He just played in the fourth quarter and was the best version of himself. like when he just gets to run around and play
177:32stuff like like he can play like he he can be good because he actually can throw downfield like he's a really good
177:38downfield passer and was in college.
177:40It's just Yeah.
177:40>> You know who he's really like? He's like Caleb Williams.
177:44>> Yes. Yeah.
177:45>> That's the style of quarterback that he's actually like >> but he's got way better protection so it it works more frequently than it does
177:52with Williams. But >> Shawn Payeyton is just so hellbent on making him new Drew Brees.
177:57>> Yeah.
178:00But I mean, God, there's so much upside here. It's hard not to. He's like one of these guys like you have to play some of
178:05this week. It feels like >> I think so too because he also comes with the rushing. It's not only that the
178:09Cowboys are only the most passing points per game. They're also 31st in rushing points allowed per game to quarterbacks.
178:14>> Right. Right.
178:16Yeah. And they have injuries. All of these numbers don't even It's like you have the worst numbers and normally when you have numbers like this, it's like,
178:24well, they're getting this guy back.
178:25They they're out.
178:26>> Yeah. Like we talk about the Ravens.
178:27Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's the opposite.
178:30It's like actually 30th in DVOA is probably too good.
178:34>> They're probably >> So, yeah, you gotta I think >> it's not comfy because Knicks is very volatile, but man, that the upside's for
178:43sure here.
178:46>> Yeah, it's it's just a game. I think I think there's a little more volatility to it like to the game, but like you
178:51have to respect the Apex outcome of this game as well.
178:55>> For sure.
178:57are when you're not playing this game or would you like try to have a dobson or you just go ah this maybe this this is
179:03spread out and you know I don't need to have a piece of this.
179:08>> Yeah, I think you're probably looking at some like if you think like the game underwhelms in totality that means probably Dobbins was just running wild
179:15and then like the Denver defense was did actually step up and did well. So that would probably be >> defense is kind of an interesting pivot
179:23or a leverage piece. I mean >> absolutely. Well, also too, I mean, this is the old old school like Jonathan Bales thing, like people always try,
179:31well, now the meta is you just pay for the cheapest defense that's like either home or like and but like right
179:36>> playing these defenses in these games that are supposed to be like uptempo and have like a lot of drop backs has always
179:42been like one of the more sneakier ways to play. The game could literally both teams could still score 30 points, but
179:48you want drop backs because it leads to turnover sacks and maybe a defensive touchdown. Like you don't care about the points allowed,
179:54>> you know?
179:54>> Right. Right.
179:56No, 100%. Um, all right. We covered it all.
180:01>> That's it.
180:02>> There's there's one thing, and this might kind of take away from uh the DFS pod I did this morning with Squirrel
180:07Patrol and and Davis Matic and Neil Orfield. I was kind of like, you know, all in all, the game environments here
180:14are a bit underwhelming, but there are some really there's some teams that I think can really bring it this week. And
180:21and so there's some double stacks that I think, you know, you have the Denver stuff, you have Bears stuff, you have
180:29Ravens stuff, you have you have now Herz doubles are are really easy. Um Flaco doubles I wasn't even thinking about this morning, but I think you're
180:39you're right. Like that that's actually a sneaky fun spot. You could do Rattler stuff. you know, there's there's like maybe I'm not doing like I had a lineup
180:50last week as I mentioned that was just literally the entire Chargers game. Um I don't think I would have something like
180:57that this week, but there are some teams that I think you can kind of bet on them to roll like Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor
181:05would maybe be a way to play that. um teams like there's the Cowboys have actually been one of this one of these
181:13teams where like they you know back when they had Zeke and stuff sometimes they would just it's just like the answer was
181:19was Cowboys and no whoever they were playing I think the Falcons they just like put up >> the Lions have done this repeatedly
181:26>> Lions Yep. Yep.
181:27>> Like where you get that's how it feels to me.
181:29>> Yeah. Get you just get Lions.
181:32>> Get Lions. Yeah. It feels like that kind of slate where like there's gonna be answers among these teams and it's the
181:37Colts are obviously like the big favorites to be this team, but it's like the answer was Colts, >> you know.
181:42>> Yeah.
181:42>> Um >> probably not the Jets, I would say.
181:45>> Not the Jets. Not the Jets. [laughter] >> Definitely not competitive. We We're looking for competitive advantages.
181:55>> Yeah.
181:59>> Oh, man. All right. Anything else uh to >> No. No. Get out of here so I can uh adjust stuff and you can get out of
