0:12probably doesn't get as much credit as
0:14he deserves, not only running the
0:15football, but as a guy you can kind of
0:17spread out." Then he was asked about the
0:20amount of touches that he will allow for
0:22Achane this year. Hafley said,
0:25"I just told him this morning that he
0:27better be in good shape because there
0:29might be some games where I have to pick
0:31him up and carry him back into the
0:34locker room because he's going to be so
0:36tired. I told him I don't ever want to
0:38see a head tap all year, and he looked
0:41me right in the eye
0:42>> That's not cool.
0:43>> and said, 'You'll never get that head
0:45tap from me.' I said, 'Don't worry,
0:48buddy. After you touch the ball 40 45
0:52times, I'm going to have to pick you up
0:55and carry you back into the locker room.
0:58I love the guy. You want to talk about

1:02starting to become a leader, he's one of
1:04the smarter players. I think he's a

1:10preliminary stuff where I'm just kind of
1:11in in spreadsheets and kind of digging
1:13around in the numbers, but
1:15uh you know, getting ready to start
1:16writing that up and Achane popped in the
1:19late second round as a guy who's like,
1:21"You know, fundamentally,
1:23he's an awesome player
1:25who catches the ball really well
1:28and whose team recognizes is like the
1:32focal point of the whole operation.
1:34Like,
1:36that's really good. That's where a lot
1:38of upside comes from. Now, the team
1:42could be atrocious, but they also have a
1:45bad defense, right? So, like, there
1:47could be more play volume here. Like,
1:49they could want to be you know, playing
1:51at like Ravens, Seahawks kind of volume
1:54and just unable to. So, you have that
1:56potential for him to to get more
1:59receptions than the team would even
2:00prefer as part of that 40 touch
2:03workload.
2:04Uh but, you know, I mean, it's it's
2:06definitely
2:07one of those things where as a
2:08first-round pick, as a late first-round
2:10pick, even really second,
2:12you'd be taking on a lot of risk of this
2:14team just being terrible. In the late
2:15second round, I think you're getting,
2:18you know, you're sort of being paid to
2:19take on that risk a little bit.
2:22And I think the upside is making it a
2:23better bet than I even realized before I
2:26started doing that research. And And
2:27obviously backed up by by talk like
2:29this.
