0:00They've they've kind of been hinting at
0:01this for a while. Jeff Hafley for like
0:05several weeks talking about the
0:07possibility of him playing maybe in the
0:09preseason. Uh he suited up for the
0:12preseason game the other night and
0:14people were like, "Oh my god, he's going
0:15to he's going to play in this game."
0:18Um
0:18but Hafley's he he didn't play in the
0:20game and Hafley said that like we just
0:22wanted to
0:24kind of get him going in in this
0:27um
0:28like the whole routine is different in
0:29this league. I wanted him to feel it, go
0:31through it so that if he does get to
0:32play in a preseason game or when he does
0:35play in a real game, it's not the first
0:36time. And then today we just got news
0:38that he is out of the red non-contact
0:42jersey. So like might be able to play in
0:45this upcoming preseason game and looks
0:48like
0:49like he might be ready for week one.
0:51I he's he's such a smash right now in in
0:52the in the later rounds.

1:01as we do we do a big rankings update
1:03every Monday and yeah, things have been
1:06kind of shocking as far as his injury
1:09recovery goes. I mean, I believe it was
1:11a December
1:12uh ACL injury for him.
1:15Um
1:17and so
1:18his what I would say on Chris Bell is
1:20that I was not been
1:22like as excited about him from a
1:25prospect profile perspective um as some
1:29others were. But there was, you know,
1:31talk of him as like this guy could be,
1:33you know, in the first round mix um
1:36based on what he did in college. And I
1:38think had he not gotten hurt and then,
1:40you know, if he'd had a strong combine,
1:43you know, on and on, I don't think
1:45that's out of the realm of possibility
1:48that he could have secured,
1:50you know, an Omar Cooper-esque
1:52kind of standing with NFL teams. Maybe
1:54he would would an early second round
1:56pick, but you know, he tore his ACL and
1:58still got drafted in in the third round.
2:00So,
2:02um
2:03there is definitely some upside here.
2:05Uh I have taken some Caleb Douglas now
2:08cuz he's sort of earned
2:10uh
2:11a role out of the gate, it looks like.
2:13And I kind of just want to take like
2:16the bird in the hand a little bit with
2:18Miami because I just I don't know like
2:21what
2:22Like with Miami, I'm like, "Hey, Caleb
2:24Douglas, I'm going to get some
2:25production early, maybe, and then also
2:27maybe late cuz he's a rookie."
2:29Bell, I've been
2:31nervous about because it's like,
2:33"When does he play?" And
2:35um when he does play, he's still stuck
2:38with Malik Willis as his quarterback.
2:40But this obviously, now when does he
2:41play?
2:43Could be pretty soon. Could be week one.
2:45So, that makes him a much easier click.
