Adonai Mitchell

PositiveBreakout5:38

Adonai Mitchell is the top wide receiver waiver add after recording 11 targets and a 32% target share. He has consolidated the WR2 role and is top-10 in the NFL in air yards, which Mattek notes is highly predictive of future fantasy success.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveValue11:11

Bryce Young is Mattek's top waiver wire quarterback add, as the Panthers lead the NFL in pass rate over expectation and Young is showing significant improvement; he is projected as a top-15 fantasy quarterback.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveDepth Chart36:39

Chris Bell has a chance to supersede Caleb Douglas in the Miami Dolphins' pecking order following Douglas's ankle injury.

Insight page

Chris Brooks

NegativeUsage33:28

Chris Brooks played the most snaps for the Packers backfield last week, but he is not viewed as a primary rusher compared to Caleb Johnson.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeBust25:25

Chris Rodriguez Jr. is a drop candidate; he is seeing only 24% of snaps and is losing work to Ameer Abdullah and Laquon Treadwell.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeBust7:49

Mattek advises dropping Courtland Sutton, stating he is no longer generating separation, is dropping passes, and looks like he is headed to the glue factory; he is effectively finished as a fantasy asset following a brutal start to the season.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveValue22:12

Darren Waller is a legitimate 12-team league waiver add. Despite athletic limitations preventing him from running a high route share, he remains elite at finding soft spots in zone coverage and red-zone efficiency.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout8:19

Denzel Boston is a recommended add following a 20-point PPR performance with a 94% route rate and 24% target rate. Mattek projects him as a top-36 wide receiver if Deshaun Watson maintains baseline quarterback play, noting Boston has a more valuable route tree than Casey Conpsion.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeBust12:28

Mattek expresses concern over DK Metcalf's performance, noting he looks like he is running in 'quicksand' with poor separation metrics compared to teammates like Jalen McMillan. While he will still earn targets, his recent film is concerning.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveMatchup24:14

Geno Smith is a target for streaming defenses because he consistently takes 3-4 sacks per game and is expected to have high pass volume, with projections of 35-40 attempts.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury0:11

JK Dobbins suffered a hamstring injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mattek advises against betting on a quick recovery, citing a historical trend of Dobbins not returning quickly from injuries.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveValue26:32

Mattek identifies Jake Ferguson as a priority tight end target on the waiver wire.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeBreakout11:27

Mattek admits he was wrong to fade Jaylen Coker, noting that Coker looks amazing within the high-volume passing offense of the Panthers, which is currently led by a surging Bryce Young.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

PositiveUsage20:13

Jalen McMillan is a strong waiver target; he posted 7.5 PPR points with a 22% target share and 85% route share while Michael Pittman Jr. was out.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeInjury26:09

Jaden Reed is a drop candidate in leagues without IR slots due to a brutal injury.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeUsage21:54

Jaylen Warren is unlikely to see a high-volume rushing workload, as the team is trending toward a pass-heavy approach with Rico Dowdle injured; there is no realistic scenario where Warren receives 22 carries in a game.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

PositiveBust9:04

Mattek advises fantasy managers to forget Jerry Jeudy exists, noting he recorded only one target and no catches in a recent win against the Buccaneers.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper0:11

Jonah Coleman is the top waiver wire add for Week 3, with Mattek recommending a 30% FAAB bid. Coleman recorded 42% of snaps and a goal-line touchdown following JK Dobbins' injury; while he played only 14% of long down-and-distance snaps, he is a versatile prospect expected to earn a significant role in the Broncos backfield. Mattek ranks him higher than Tank Bigsby for rest-of-season value.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveUsage19:08

Despite leading the team in targets through two games with a 76% route share and 17% target share, Raymond's fantasy outlook is described as depressing.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeBust25:18

Kenneth Gainwell is a drop candidate in shallower leagues, as he is currently serving as the RB2 for the Buccaneers.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeValue4:09

Kyle Pitts is used as a benchmark for Terren Ferguson's value; while Mattek still prefers Pitts, he acknowledges Ferguson is now in the same conversation. Mattek also notes he is frustrated watching Pitts as a fantasy asset.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue24:12

Kyler Murray is a recommended waiver add who can provide 17-18 fantasy points per game. He is expected to benefit from a pass-heavy team tilt and his own rushing production.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeUsage19:28

Burden is struggling with effort and route execution, showing poor film in Week 2. There is hope for a rebound, but his performance has been consistently disappointing.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeDepth Chart20:04

Lloyd's role is tenuous after failing to receive another touch following a fumble in Week 2. His fantasy outlook is poor.

Insight page

Oronde Gadsden

PositiveRole1:55

Oronde Gadsden is a strong waiver add due to injuries to Charlie Kolar and David Njoku. With the team lacking other viable tight ends, Gadsden is projected for a 65-75% route share. He previously averaged over 10 points per game as a rookie when his route share exceeded 65%. Mattek suggests a FAAB bid of 20-30%.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

PositiveValue6:59

Despite a disappointing Week 2 performance, Mattek remains high on Pat Bryant and recommends adding and holding him in all leagues, noting his route rate actually increased. Mattek prefers him over Courtland Sutton, who he believes is finished as a fantasy asset.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole16:26

Rashod Bateman is a viable start if Zay Flowers misses time; he benefits from the long-term absence of Devontez Walker. Bateman saw a 95% route share and 33% target share in Week 2, though his role remained unchanged in the most recent evaluation.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury25:39

Rico Dowdle is a drop candidate due to an injury with an unclear recovery timeline; he should not be held even if he avoids the IR.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury9:32

Saquon Barkley is dealing with a stinger injury that limited him to 12 snaps in Week 2, making his availability for Week 3 legitimately questionable.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveRole9:25

With Saquon Barkley dealing with a stinger, Tank Bigsby is expected to start for the Eagles in Week 3; Mattek ranks him as a top-25 running back for the week if Barkley is out.

Insight page

Tre Harris

NegativeUsage37:03

Trey Harris is a low-priority waiver add who has shown no ability to earn targets, despite a 71% route rate; he is considered less desirable than Trey Tucker or Khif Raymond.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveProjection18:21

Tucker is a viable start for Week 3 in a dome game against the Saints, coming off a 22-point PPR performance with a 25% target share and 75% route share. His outlook is contingent on Brock Bowers' health.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeUsage9:44

Despite a 53% snap share and handling long down-and-distance and two-minute drills, Will Shipley is not a recommended waiver add or start because Saquon Barkley is expected to play, and Tank Bigsby is the primary replacement.

0:00This is the most important waiverwire of the season. You are not going to be able to win your league if you mess it up. We
0:04have four season changing options including basically my favorite waiverwire pickup of the year. Don't worry, we are going to talk about Pat
0:11Bryant. We have to begin with Jonah Coleman. JK Dobbins suffered a hamstring injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
0:17Coleman closed the game out, got a goal line touchdown, ended up with 42% of the snaps, did only play 14% of the long
0:24down distance because old friend Tyler Bedet came in and played the long down and distance. R.J. Harvey also missed that game. Sounds like R.J. Harvey also
0:32might not play in week three if I was a betting man, which uh you know, maybe I am, maybe I'm not. I would not be
0:37betting on a quick recovery for JK Dobbins. I think we kind of know the deal with JK Dobbins at this point,
0:42which is that he does not return quickly from his injuries, though he will return at some point and so will RJ Harvey. But
0:48Coleman was a prospect that I really liked coming out of the University of Washington. He I think can get some of
0:54this long down and distance work because that was his calling card when he was in college. He was like basically kind of a
0:59perfect running back prospect to take in round four of the draft because he could be your goal line back, he could be your
1:04passing down back, he could be your early down grinder. He kind of fits in all of those roles. So I do have Jonah
1:09Coleman as the top waiverwire ad this week, but I would not say that he is my favorite and we are going to get to my
1:15favorite. Aronda Gadston is not my favorite, but an incredibly good ad.
1:20Charlie Kar and David and Jooku both got placed on the injured reserve. So that means that the team despite not wanting
1:26to play Ronda Gadston, I mean very clear from their free agent signings they did not think that Gadstoning could block.
1:30They now have no choice. He is really the only real tight end that they have on their roster. If you look at the just
1:38insane start to the season for the Chargers. They're 0 and2 against two bad teams. You might think, oh well they're going to get some wins. Nope. No. Their
1:45schedule is basically the hardest in the NFL almost historically. So there is a chance this team starts 0 and9. They cannot afford to mess around. They're
1:54not going to be able to play some of these absolute jabronies that they have on the roster. They're not going to
1:58really be able to play a fullback.
2:00They're not going to play Patrick Herbert, who is technically the backup tight end right now, is Justin Herbert's little brother. I think we are going to
2:06see probably a 65 to 75% route share from Gadston. Gadston has the best ever rookie game in terms of receiving yards
2:15for a round uh four, five, six, or seven tight end. I think you have to buy on Gadston, particularly with Lad Mani
2:23banged up. Lad's routes were limited a little bit on Sunday against the Raiders. Gadston was a a very startable tight end in fantasy as a rookie last
2:31year in the games where he had a 65% or more route share. He over averaged over 10 points per game. So, I love Gadston.
2:38However, my favorite waiverwire ad of the season, a guy that I made a video about on this channel saying, "I found
2:44the next Trey McBride with Puka out on Monday Night Football against the Giants." My guy Terren Ferguson scored 17.4 PPR points, had a 29% target share,
2:54a 70% route rate. The only player on the Rams who ran more routes than him on Monday Night Football was Devonte Adams.
3:00We saw basically nothing for Xavier Smith, Canada Mumfield, Jordan Whittington did not play in this game.
3:05You might as well forget that Kobe Parkinson, Davis Allen, Tyler Higgby, Max Cla, these these guys don't even exist. This is my true opinion. And if
3:14you guys disagree with me, please comment down below. But now that we're out of the Australian weirdness, I mean, I think we saw how weird that game was.
3:21Javvant Adams looked like the worst player on the roster and then looked like the best wide receiver in the NFL.
3:25I basically am kind of throwing that Australia game out. And I don't think that Puka is going to miss a ton of
3:32time. Although, he didn't look that healthy. Didn't seem like he was that close to playing. So maybe he does miss another week. But when Puka returns, I
3:38think that Ferguson is going to be third on the Los Angeles Rams in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. I do think he will probably be a red zone
3:45weapon. I would guess right now his route rate when Puka comes back. It's certainly not going to be 70%. It'll probably be more like 60 to 65%. He also
3:54is not going to have a 30% target share.
3:56But just given the nature of tight end, I think that offense is so good and my opinion of Terence Ferguson's ability is
4:02so high that I don't see any way that he can be on waiverss even in 10 team leagues right now. Like I was I was kind
4:09of joking around uh earlier today. I was like, would I rather have Kyle Pittz who just ran 38% of the routes for the
4:14Falcons or would I rather have Terren Ferguson? Probably it has to be Kyle Pittz. But that is the type of conversation that he is in right now. I
4:22I am for Coleman, I'm going something like 30ish% of my fab. For Gadson, I think it's 20 to 30. And I think the
4:30same for Ferguson. Particularly in leagues where I need a tight end. you know, if I'm starting slow, if I'm 0 and2, if I have nothing at tight end, I
4:36I would actually try and get both Gadston and Ferguson in my leagues if I was already light at tight end. I I
4:42mean, these are these are probably top 15 tight ends the rest of the way. And then I I just I don't need to talk too
4:47much about Emma Johnson, I don't think, but a couple of you guys in the comments in last week's video just said, "Hey,
4:52where is Emtt Johnson?" Frankly, I just assume that if you were watching my channel, you already rostered Emtt Johnson or you were in a league where he
4:59is already rostered. Emma Johnson is probably the single top handcuff running back in fantasy football. The Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins this week. This
5:07could be a Kalin Black style situation or an old Elijah Mitchell situation where the team is up by so much that
5:13Emma Johnson gets like 16 touches in the game because he's going to get the entire fourth quarter with how much the
5:18Chiefs are favored. So, Emtt Johnson needs to be rostered in I would maybe even roster Emma Johnson in like eight team leagues at this point. He looks
5:25phenomenal. The Chiefs look like one of the five best offenses in football and he is the clear running back too behind
5:31Kenneth Walker. So the A tier is Jonah Coleman Aronda Gadston, Terrence Ferguson and Emma Johnson. Moving to the A tier, we have to begin with Adna
5:39Mitchell who just had 11 targets on Sunday. 12.3 PPR points. He has not scored a touchdown yet. A 32% target share. The biggest deal is that he has
5:48fully consolidated the wide receiver 2 job with Omar Cooper Jr. out. Isaiah Williams is playing in the slot only.
5:53Ady Mitchell leads the team in air yards. He's actually top 10 in the entire NFL in yards right now. We know
5:59through a lot of people's great research that yards is actually, this is crazy but true. Are yards are actually more predictable uh more predictive for
6:08future fantasy points than just targets alone. AD Mitchell is a top top ad. I actually started AD Mitchell in two of
6:14my deeper leagues last week and I feel great about it. Gino is not playing great football, but he's playing, you know, basically Gino Smith level
6:21football. Aaron Glenn is a total clown of a coach. But overall, Frank Reich has the offense kind of playing pretty well.
6:27Garrett Wilson looks good. Adie Mitchell looks good. Bree Hall looks good. Like, this is not bottom tier trash level offense. And we've always known that
6:36Adnai Mitchell is an awesome receiver.
6:37He just basically has never been able to be serious enough on the field. And this surely could go bad and AD Mitchell
6:43could fumble and be benched for some, you know, Aryan Smith or whatever. But this raw amount of talent that Ad Mitchell has is just generally not
6:51available in the Waverwire series fantasy football leagues. So, uh, he to me is the top wide receiver ad of the week. Gotta talk about Pat Bryant. I was
6:59super super high on Pat Bryant last week. And I gotta eat it. Look, I will tell you guys this. When I get something
7:05wrong, I will happily own up to it. And I will also say this, when I get something wrong, this impacts me in real
7:11leagues that I play for real money because I would never tell you guys to do something that I would not do in my
7:16own leagues. Pat Bryant was my most added player on waiverss last week. I started him in two different leagues. He got 1.6 6 PPR points. He got one target
7:24and one rush in the game. His route rate actually increased from week one to week two, but there was a clear decision made
7:32by the Denver Broncos that last week's passing game was going to all be about Jaylen Wadd. And that's just kind of the
7:38deal with the Denver Broncos. You know, they are going to do that. That is Shawn Peyton's fingerprints all over it. Who
7:42he prefers week to week just it's kind of pin the tail on the donkey in terms of figuring out who it is. But I would
7:49rather personally roster Pat Bryant, the Courtland Sutton moving forward. Sutton just looks like he's headed to the glue factory. Uh to do the a horse analogy
7:58appropriate for the Denver Broncos.
7:59Can't get open, can't generate separation, like is dropping passes. I to me it just looks like it's over for Courtland Sutton. You guys can disagree
8:07with me. And I I still would add Pat Bryant. Like I'm still holding Pat Bryant in every league where I have him.
8:13And some guys who are just like total bum level guys. I like the drop list guys. I'm starting to just add Pat
8:19Bryant. Um, then we move on to Denzel Boston was a very hot start to the year, but plays for the Cleveland Browns. 20
8:27PPR points last week, 24% target rate, 94% route rate. If Deshun Watson can be the 22nd best quarterback in the NFL, I
8:36think Denzel Boston is on his way to finish as a top 36 wide receiver in Finnish football. He has quite a nice
8:42start. He just has a more valuable route tree than Casey Conpsion. I think Conpsion is quote unquote the better wide receiver than Boston and is like
8:51more shifty and more dynamic, but because his average depth of target is so low comparatively and his red zone rate uh and his red zone target rate is
8:58going to be a little bit lower, I think you would probably slightly slightly prefer Denzel Boston moving forward. And we can also basically forget that Jerry
9:05Judy exists. One target, no catch in a win against the Buccaneers. Denzel Boston and Conpion are just so much better than he is at this stage of his
9:14career. Uh, I would prefer Mitchell. And for example, in a league where I really had to make that decision, I would
9:19rather have Pat Bryant than Denzel Boston despite the results thus far. I'm happy for you guys to disagree with me.
9:25I'm just presenting the information as it applies to me. Tank Bigsby, we do need to talk about the Philadelphia Eagle situation because Saquin Barkley
9:32played only 12 snaps in week two against the Titans. Left with a stinger. Sounds like he is going to be legitimately
9:37questionable for week three. Bsby only played 33% of the snaps. did not play a single long down a distance snap. That
9:44was all Will Shipley, but did get the goal line touchdown. Got all the work inside the 10 yardd line. One of the
9:50reasons, and this is just sort of interesting and kind of the way that oneweek samples can skew things, was that the reason Shipley played so much
9:57for the Bigsby was the Eagles were consistently finding themselves in long down and distance. And he also got three separate two-minute drills because he
10:05got two-minute drill, then he got another in hurry up and then he was on the he was on the field to end the game.
10:12So the way that the play clock skewed and the way the Titans possessions worked out just got overall more carries. Had the Philadelphia Eagles
10:20been easily winning this game, I it would be my opinion that we would easily see more tank Bigsby. But Shipley is
10:26going to play all the long down distance, the two-minute drill. But Bigsby is going to be the like forlike for Saquon Barkley. And it I would
10:33imagine he's probably going to start this week for the Philadelphia Eagles. I I don't think Barkley will play with the stinger or I think it's at least 50/50
10:40that Barkley would play with this stinger injury. And I will have Bigs be ranked this upcoming week, assuming that Barklay's out as like a top 25ish
10:48running back in fantasy football. And um you know, for example, if JK Dobbins plays this upcoming week and Saquon Barkley doesn't, I will probably have
10:58Tank ranked higher in my week three rankings. However, I will have Jonah Coleman higher in my rest of season rankings because I would imagine I I
11:06feel very strongly that Coleman is going to earn a role in that Broncos backfield over the rest of the season. Bryce
11:11Young, I said last week that I have structural concerns about the Carolina Panthers offense, and that was part of the reason that I preferred to add Pat
11:17Bryant over Jaylen Coker. Boy, was I wrong because Bryce Young is absolutely balling out. The Carolina Panthers are first in the NFL in pass rate over
11:25expectation. My friend Josh Norris from Yahoo put it very excellently, which is we are holding a prior sample for Bryce Young against him. When he played with a
11:34bunch of guys who are no longer in the NFL, like his original coach is no longer in the NFL. His wide receivers
11:39were not NFL caliber playmakers at the time. I'm happy to say that I am readjusting my priors on Bryce Young. I
11:47think there's a strong chance that he can finish as a top 15ish fantasy football quarterback. He's not even really using his legs yet. Coker looks
11:54amazing. T looks good. Darren Waller looks incredible. They are throwing in the red zone, which is huge. That's one of the biggest things that we tend to
12:01overlook with quarterbacks, which is if your team is just comfortable with a 60 to 40 pass to run ratio in the red zone,
12:08that is going to absolutely boost your numbers in fantasy football. And Bryce Young is getting that boost right now.
12:13He would be my top waiverwire ad at at quarterback this week. Jeremy Bernard had a real uh roar shack test of a game.
12:20He had 7.5 PPR points but had a 22% target share an 85% route share with Michael Pitman Jr. out. DK Metaf looked
12:28like he was running in quicksand with oven mitts on his hands. I I it is Jo similar to how I feel about Courtland
12:34Sutton. I mean it feels pretty jover for DK Metaf. He he just looked so so bad in the first two weeks of the season and
12:41I'm sure he's still going to play. He'll earn his targets. I'm not saying you have to drop DK Mechaf right now, but
12:46Jeremy got open uh you know way more.
12:48His separation score from the fantasy points data suite was way better than DK Metafs. I mean, frankly, Pat Fmouth is also going to be an answer for the
12:56Pittsburgh Steelers. But Jeremy, I mean, people do sort of forget he was a second round pick. The Steelers went out and
13:02spent real draft capital to acquire this guy. And yeah, they also spent real money on Michael Pitman Jr. We'll see if
13:07Michael Pitman Jr. is able to play. But in uh the Pittsburgh Steelers are also top five in the NFL in pass rate over
13:14expectation. Rico Dowel is out injured right now. So I think that's going to make them even more pass heavy because I
13:20there's really no scenario where Jaylen Warren is going to get 22 rushes in the game. Travis Homer and Eli Hiden Reich
13:25barely played. It was actually Jaylen Moore's careerhigh in offensive snaps last week. We know Aaron Rogers wants to throw the ball. He wants to pad his
13:32career statistics. So I I quite like adding Jeremy Bernard. And then Darren Waller, to me, one of the big surprises, sounded like he maybe was not even going
13:40to be active in week one, ends up playing, scores a touchdown, scores two touchdowns here, runs 56% of the routes, only has 10% of the team's targets, but
13:48generates 18.3 PPR points with two touchdowns. It's very similar to the role that he played last year in Miami where you are not playing this dude on
13:56second and six from your own 44. But once getting a first down becomes a possibility, once you get in the red
14:02zone, you are putting Darren Waller in the game because Darren Waller is still pretty elite at finding the soft spot in
14:08the zone. He's elite at being a big, strong, fast guy. I'm Darren Waller, again, this is a this really is a real
14:16people forget situation. This guy was an absolute menace in fantasy football and he still kind of has it. I I don't think
14:22he can run 75% of the routes. I just think athletically he he can't hold up.
14:27So I would definitely prefer Gadson and I would definitely prefer Terence Ferguson over him. But in terms of like a oneweek guy, like I don't know, man.
14:35I'm so sick of watching Kyle Pittz. I I'm so sick of watching some of these bum tight ends out here running routes.
14:41And I feel like Waller is probably a pretty legitimate ad in 12TR. So that is the A tier. AD Mitchell, Pat Bryant,
14:47Denzel Boston, Tigsby, Bryce Young, Jeremy Bernard, and Darren Waller.
14:52Moving to the B tier of players. Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol is going to be back. We barely got to
14:58see him start. Uh I think he literally played about eight plays before he was out of that game for a concussion. He
15:04now gets to go on the road and play at the Buccaneers. He gets to throw to Justin Jefferson. I think the team is
15:09definitely going to tilt pass heavier with no Jordan Mason. I have long been a Kyler Murray believer. he is going to
15:14add some rushing production. Though, it is certainly fair to say that after missing the game with a concussion, it's possible the rushing stuff will be a
15:21little bit scaled back. We will see in this game against the Buccaneers, who are generally a pass funnel, they have one of the best interior run defenses in
15:28the NFL. They've looked like one of the best interior run defenses in the NFL through the first two weeks of the
15:33season. Again, Kyler just can be, in my opinion, he can be like a 17, 18 fantasy points per game player. I know most of
15:42you basically disagree with that. All you guys like people on YouTube hate Kyler Murray. I don't know. Oh, I I kind
15:48of do know what it's about. It's that they saw Trey McBride score a bunch of touchdowns with Jacobe Brassette and they're mad about that. Though I think
15:54we can say at this point that Kyler Murray is not the one who uh kept Marvin Harrison Jr. from being good as a
16:00rookie. I feel pretty pretty confident about that. But Kyler, if you are not adding Bryce Young, I I would add Kyler
16:05Murray uh over Tyler Shock for example.
16:08Will Shipley, we talked about him a little bit. 53% snap share, 88% of a long down a distance. The team just had
16:14a ton of long down a distance scenarios.
16:16I don't think you are going to feel that good about starting Shipley, but I have to mention it because I do think that
16:21Barkley probably is not going to miss this week, but I I would probably leave Will Shipley on the waiverwire. Rashad Baitman, really interesting scenario
16:28here. His role did not change at all.
16:31His role was the exact same. It was in fact Lejante Wester. I got a shout out to YouTube commenter last week who
16:36pointed out that I was wrong about Elijah Serat. I don't remember your name, but shout out to you. You were absolutely wrong or you were absolutely
16:42right. And I was absolutely wrong. It was indeed Leonte Wester who ran the third most routes on the team did just
16:48fill in for Z Flowers's snaps. Baitman had a 95% route share and a 33% target share. Looked incredible though the Ravens did end up losing that game. If
16:58Flowers is to miss more time, uh you're definitely I think going to think about starting Baitman on a given week. It
17:03sounds like Flowers has a chance to play this upcoming week in week three.
17:07However, Baitman is going to be a big beneficiary of the Jacobe Lane broken wrist. I do think Jacobe Lane likely would have been ahead of Baitman for the
17:15rest of the season in terms of the target pecking order, but Jacobe Lane is going to be out for at least a month
17:20with this broken wrist and probably longer. We've all done the Rashad Baitman experience before. You know what you're going to get. Like, if he doesn't
17:27score a touchdown, it's going to be a bad week. If he does score deep touchdown, it is going to be a good
17:32week. Emanuel Wilson, another fairly interesting situation. He overtook George Alani as the primary early down backup behind Jarian Price, but also
17:40kept the short yardage work and then got all of the mopup duty in the fourth quarter once the Seahawks shut it down
17:46and stopped giving Jackson Smith a jigma touchdowns. He got that work because Jajarian Price suffered a chest injury.
17:52It does sound according to Clint Kubak that Jerian Price is going to be fine that he is going to play in week three.
17:57So I would not rush out to the waiver wire. But in terms of thinking about who is Jadarian Price's handcuff, I would
18:03say I would prioritize Emanuel Wilson over George Hani now. Helani seems to have just now clearly be the running back three and only playing in the
18:11two-minute drill. And on passing downs, then we have Trey Tucker. Great game for him. 22 PPR points, 25% target share, up
18:18to a 75% route share. Shout out to the Raiders, man. I don't know. I don't know how they are doing this right now, but
18:25they are having for them a great start to the year. And now they get to play in a dome against the New Orleans Saints.
18:30You can definitely do worse than playing Trey Tucker in a dome game against the New Orleans Saints. We know that those
18:36dome games just increase passing volume.
18:38They increase points scored. Trey Tucker certainly is ahead of Jaylen Naylor.
18:43There's a chance that Brock Bowers plays this week. If Bowowers does play, you are feeling way worse about starting Trey Tucker, which is why he is down
18:50here in the Btier. And he's not a long-term ad either. We also know what we get with Trey Tucker. was like, well,
18:55he's either going to score four points or he's going to score 22 points. He's got that very high average up the
19:00target. There's not been a role change for him this year. It's just that he succeeded on his deep target touchdown last week. Khif Raymond, I really don't
19:08even want to talk about this. It's too depressing. 76% route share, 17% target share, leads the team in targets through two games, which is I think the most
19:15depressing thing that I've ever said on the history of the Madic Fantasy Football Channel. Tyson Beant is going to start at quarterback this week for
19:22the Chicago Bears. In all likelihood, I'm very much hoping that we see a rebound in Luther Burton's route rate.
19:29If you watch the tape, this is the issue with Luther Burton, particularly in game two. It was not the case in week one.
19:34Guy was out there dogging it. I mean, just bad film, bad effort, not attacking the ball. It was just, it was just bad
19:40all around from Luther Burden. This has been something that has dog Luther Burden going all the way back to high school. It was a big issue with his
19:46tape, particularly his junior year at Missouri. It it's just not been a good situation for Luther Burden in week two.
19:52and I'm very much hoping that he can improve on that in this upcoming week.
19:57Moving to our final B tier, Caleb Johnson actually led the Green Bay Packers in carries last week. Did not lead them in snaps. Marshon Lloyd did
20:05not get another touch of the ball after he fumbled in the fourth quarter. Chris Brooks played the most snaps, but it was
20:10Caleb Johnson who got the majority of the work. Now, he did only turn that into 3.2 PPR points. However, to my
20:16amateur eyes, he looked like the best rusher on the team, which actually would be my expectation because again, Chris Brooks is not really a rusher of the
20:23football. And Marshon Lloyd, man, he was very tenuous. I drafted him relatively highly on some teams after the Josh Jacobs suspension stuff started to look,
20:32you know, kind of poor. And I'm not feeling great about it, particularly on Thursday night. I I mean, is there a
20:37chance Caleb Johnson just starts this game? Like, isn't Caleb Johnson probably gonna run the ball the most times of any running back on the team against
20:46Atlanta? I I think he probably will. I do. You need to go out and go get him?
20:50No. Are you going to be starting him?
20:52No, I don't think so. But it's definitely not impossible to me that after that Thursday night game, Caleb Johnson is something like a 12 rush, 64
20:59yard, one touchdown game. That certainly is not the median or the modal outcome, but I definitely think that it could happen. So, I have him as a Btier. The
21:07Ctier begins with Deont Claybornne. just looks like there's a chance that he is the early down backup behind Aaron Jones. I didn't even think he was going
21:13to be active for that game against the uh Chicago Bears, but he was and did get a rush. You know, basically barely
21:19played. Uh although Aaron Jones is an old man who just got 24 touches in the game and Jordan Mason is on the IR. Naji
21:26Harris did indeed get two back-to-back goal rushes. Did absolutely nothing with them, but hey, Naji Harris getting goal line rushes on the Giants. The Giants
21:36played four running backs in the first half against the Rams on Monday Night Football, which was just absolutely hilarious. Seth McGawan is just the
21:43clear clear backup to Jonathan Taylor. Really not that dissimilar. Uh, if I'm being totally intellectually honest, it's just not that dissimilar from EMTT Johnson. I
21:53mean, he has no standalone value, but he has one of the he is one of the most valuable handcuffs in fantasy football.
21:59Chris Bell, uh, we argued a little bit in the comments last week about Kale Douglas versus Chris Bell. Turns out we
22:04were both wrong for the results last week. Both of them absolutely sucked. I think the only one who even got close to
22:0910 PPR points was Malik Washington. But Caleb Douglas was seen walking out of their game against the 49ers in a walking boot with an ankle injury that
22:17caused him to miss the final Miami Dolphins drive. So it sounds like Chris Bell has a chance to supersede him in
22:23the pecking order. Trey Harris could be a big beneficiary of the tight ends going out. 71% route rate, only 9% of
22:30the targets. I mean Trey Harris just does not seem at this point of his career like he is a very good player but
22:35if Herbert and McDaniel turn anything around I would actually think Trey Harris would have to be part of it because QJ is not going to be a part of
22:41it. Like we know what we are getting from Quinton Johnson at this stage of his career. So Trey Harris very very low
22:48waiverwire ad. I mean I frankly at this point I would rather have Trey Tucker. I I would rather have Khif Raymond because
22:54like what are you going to get starting Trey Harris? Either either you get a touchdown like a long one or you don't.
22:59He just has shown no ability to earn targets in the NFL to this point of his career. And then Zack Erds is likely
23:06going to be the Philadelphia Eagles starting tight end maybe as soon as this weekend. He signed with the Eagles practice squad. Maybe it takes him a
23:12week to get up to speed, but Dallas Goddard seems like he is going to miss three or four weeks with an injury. Eli
23:17Sters is on the IR. We have seen Johnny Munt and Grant Calciter before. They cannot be receiving tight ends at all.
23:24This is probably more for like deeper leagues, FFPC, you know, tight end premium. But I do expect Zacharz in deeper leagues to be added this week.
23:31And now we have our defense and streamers. I've generally done these on their own standalone video. But you guys in the comments for the standalone video
23:39said, "Hey man, get this done on Tuesday so I can actually add them. So here you go. Have to begin with the Carolina
23:44Panthers who play at the Cleveland Browns. I'm just picking up defenses against Shawn Watson every single week.
23:50Didn't work last week, but on average it is going to work big time." And the Panthers defense looked awesome against Cooper Rush. I think most defenses look
23:58good against Cooper Rush, but Cooper Rush Deshawn Watson, uh, it's like the exact same thing. The Kansas City Chiefs get to play at the Miami Dolphins. 17
24:05point implied total for the Dolphins.
24:07Again, stream your defenses against the Dolphins. And the Chiefs defense actually through two weeks looks fairly good. The Detroit Lions defense looks
24:14pitiful, absolutely horrible, but they should get to face like 35 to 40 pass attempts from Gino Smith. Gino is always good to eat three or four sacks per
24:22game. We want to face a ton of passing attempts with our defenses. The Green Bay Packers get to face Michael Pennix
24:28in his first start of the year at home.
24:30Again, Packers defense also looks very bad, but it's about targeting these quarterback matchups. And then we have the New York Giants who also look bad on
24:37defense. They do have a good pass rush.
24:39And uh man, is Cam Ward entering the same tier as like Cooper Rush and Deshun Watson in terms of targeting defenses
24:46against them? Uh kickers streamers I'm picking up this week. Harrison Buter. I I mean, Harrison Bucker might just be a top five kicker the rest of the way if
24:54the Chiefs are going to be this good on offense. 27 point implied team total against the Dolphins. My guy Trey Smack,
24:59who I've continued to add, gets to play uh in the dome. Uh sorry, actually does not get to play in the dome. I thought
25:05this game was at Atlanta for a second.
25:0625 employee team total for my guy Trey Smack. And then Spencer Shrader gets to play in the dome. Colts offense actually
25:12looks surprisingly good to me uh through the first, you know, eight quarters of the season. They they got blown out by
25:18the Baltimore Ravens, but that will happen. Then we have our drop list. Uh Kenneth Gainwell in Shallower Leagues. I mean, you just know what you're getting.
25:25He's the running back, too, for the Buccaneers. Chris Rodriguez Jr. 24% of the snaps. He's now losing snaps to Amir Abdullah and Laquent Allen. Just don't
25:33think you can start him. Baker Mayfield, brutal start to the year for him. I I would rather have Bryce Young than Baker
25:39Mayfield moving forward. Rico Dael is injured. Uh unclear how long he is going to be out, but if I I wouldn't be
25:45holding on to him even if he doesn't go on the IR. Courtland Sutton just a brutal, brutal start. Obviously, you're not going out and dropping these guys.
25:53What I guess I should have recontextualize the drop list. You guys know how serious your league is and you know the condition of your waiverwire
26:00better than I do. But these are basically just guys I am no longer really holding a candle on for. Like I'm
26:05ready to say, "Hey, if these guys beat me, they beat me, but I do not think they are particularly fantasy football
26:09relevant." Jaden Reed. Sadly, a very brutal injury for Jaden Reed, but in leagues without IR slots. And frankly, probably even leagues with IR slots, you
26:17can probably let him go. And then Kamani Vidal, it's just not happening for him.
26:21Really not happening for any of the Chargers. But that is the waiver wire for this week. I think I have exhausted
26:27uh pretty much every option available. I really want you guys to try very very hard to get one of these tight ends this
26:33week. Whether it be Gadston, whether it be Ferguson, and then honestly Darren Waller as well with Jonah Coleman as the big prize. Make sure you like this
26:40video. Make sure you were subscribed to the Madic Fitness Football channel.
