Breece Hall

NegativeInjury6:01

Breece Hall played all snaps with the starters, including third downs, but left practice with a suspected groin injury. His fantasy outlook is positive assuming the injury is minor.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeProjection3:56

Caleb Douglas's ADP is rising, though he struggled to get his toe down on a well-thrown pass from Malik Willis.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeValue6:42

Cam Akers started the game and played early-down snaps, leading to a disagreement with the 'do not draft' sentiment at his current price point.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveValue9:18

Cyrus Allen is ranked ahead of Jacobe Lane, though with low confidence; while not a starter, the offense is expected to set up well for his skill set.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveUsage10:17

Dalton Kincaid is trending ahead of Dawson Knox in 12 personnel usage; his ability to play in running formations significantly boosts his snap floor.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveUsage3:32

Devon Achane played every snap of the first drive, showing usage between the tackles and in the passing game, which indicates a true workhorse role and justifies a rise in ADP.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout8:16

Denzel Boston is a priority draft target with potential league-winning upside; he looked incredible in preseason action.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeUsage9:50

Isaiah Likely is currently utilized primarily on passing downs, playing six out of 10 snaps in 11 personnel.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveUsage0:13

Jeremiah Love dominated first-team usage for the Cardinals and looked incredible in the passing game; despite a high ankle sprain, he is clearly superior to Tyler Allgeier, making him a target as his ADP drops.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveRole6:27

Jonathan Brooks played his first game since December 2024, handling early-down and short-yardage work. Being deemed healthy enough to play in the preseason is a major positive development for his outlook.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveValue3:51

Malik Willis looked hyper-competent in the Green Bay offense, leading to a potential rise in ADP; he is now preferred over Tyler Shough in quarterback rankings.

Insight page

Matthew Hibner

PositiveSleeper9:31

Matthew Hibner is a recommended target in tight end premium formats, especially given the consistently bearish reports surrounding Mark Andrews.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeUsage0:58

Michael Wilson demonstrated more dominant usage in the Cardinals' offense than Marvin Harrison Jr., but he played fewer snaps than Kendrick Bourne, suggesting he may have a more specialized role in the offense.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

PositiveUsage11:00

Pat Bryant is a heavy draft target who recorded a 100% route share on the first two drives while playing alongside Courtland Sutton.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeUsage5:05

While Pat Freiermuth is being out-snapped by Darnell Washington, he remains the primary option in obvious passing situations. He may be limited to a 60-65% route share rather than 70%, but his ranking remains largely unchanged.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveUsage7:43

Quinshon Judkins is a clear fantasy draft target after playing 100% of early-down and short-yardage snaps.

Insight page

Rachaad White

NegativeRole11:32

Rachaad White is considered locked into his role for the Commanders.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeUsage5:20

Tony Pollard rotated with Tyjae Spears in five-play blocks and secured the goal-line carry, though the expected split of Pollard as the early-down back was not fully realized in preseason usage.

Insight page

Tyjae Spears

NegativeUsage5:20

Tyjae Spears and Tony Pollard rotated in five-play blocks rather than by situation, contradicting the assumption that Spears would be strictly the passing-down back.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeRole0:47

Tyler Allgeier is expected to handle goal-line work for the Cardinals, though he remains behind Jeremiah Love in overall backfield efficiency and passing game usage.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeUsage4:21

There is legitimate concern regarding Tyrone Tracy Jr.'s role, as he took all three of the third-down snaps in the preseason game, potentially eating into Cam Akers' workload.

0:00I watched every single snap of the
0:01preseason so that you did not have to.
0:03Even though I was at the flock house, I
0:05still got down, went through all of
0:06these usage notes, went around the
0:08industry, got everything that we need to
0:10cover. If you did not watch week one of
0:12the preseason, first thing we have to
0:13begin with, Jeremiah Love did look
0:15incredible in that game for the Arizona
0:17Cardinals. He dominated usage with the
0:20first team offense and unfortunately he
0:23did get injured. Adam Sheper reported
0:24that he has a high ankle sprain that the
0:27team thinks he is going to be back by
0:29week one. Honestly, this is really how
0:30I'm handling it. I am moving Jeremiah
0:33Love down my ranks. However, despite
0:35moving him down my ranks, think about
0:37this. It It's kind of hard. It's kind of
0:38hard to explain. I actually am going to
0:40be targeting him a little bit more as he
0:43becomes less expensive because I do
0:45think he's just clearly so much better
0:47than Tyler Algier. I do think they are
0:49probably going to end up giving Tyler
0:51Algier some goal line stuff, but Love
0:53looked phenomenal in the passing game.
0:55Jacobe Brassette honestly looked a
0:56little bit better than I anticipated.
0:58Michael Wilson had the more dominant
1:00usage, which I think is better. I don't
1:01want them to try and do a square peg in
1:04a round hole with Marvin Harrison Jr. is
1:06like a real wide receiver one in the
1:07offense. So, Love to me clearly the top
1:10running back for the Cardinals, but does
1:12have a high ankle sprain that he is
1:14going to deal through. A little bit of
1:15stribbling about dribbling here. Deshan
1:17Stribbling ran a route on 94% of Brock
1:19Per's drop backs. The starters did not
1:22play. That increases the raw total of
1:24snaps for these guys. However,
1:26Stribbling looked incredible in that
1:28game. I mean, he looked absolutely
1:29awesome in that game for the 49ers. And
1:32one of the questions I think you have to
1:33ask about a guy like Stribbling, who is
1:35not a particularly good prospect, is can
1:37this guy even play? Is it even going to
1:39be able to translate? And obviously, I
1:41understand that this is a preseason
1:42game. We don't want to get too bogged
1:44down in the specifics of performance. I
1:46think that actually probably makes you a
1:48bad fantasy football player if you look
1:49at just too much of the actual
1:51performance. But dribbling having a 53%
1:54target share with the faximile starters
1:56for the 49ers and looking awesome on
1:58them with Christian Kirk being injured
2:00with Mike Evans being injured with Ricky
2:02Piol being injured with George KD
2:04potentially not playing in week one
2:05makes me feel awesome about scribbling.
2:07I moved him up my rounds uh I moved him
2:10up my ranks a little bit more. Devin A
2:12Chain of Miami Dolphins. This is
2:13actually probably my number one
2:15takeaway. So, if you've made it this far
2:16in the video, this is my number one
2:18takeaway. The Dolphins looked pretty
2:20competent on offense. Devin Aan played
2:23all 14 snaps of the first drive. He was
2:25getting carries in between the tackles.
2:27He was being used in the passing game.
2:29Maybe more importantly, my guy Malik
2:31Willis looked insanely competent. I
2:33believe the only incompletion that he
2:35threw was one that Caleb Douglas
2:37actually messed up. It was a pretty nice
2:39throw from Malik Willis on the right
2:41sideline and Caleb Douglas was not able
2:43to get his toe down, but it was a good
2:45throw from Malik Willis. I would not be
2:47surprised to see a Chan's ADP rise. I
2:49certainly have seen Caleb Douglas's
2:51average draft position rise. And I think
2:52Malik Willis should rise as well.
2:54Frankly, with Jordan Tyson being
2:56injured, I I might rather have Malik
2:58Willis over Tyler Shuck. So, a flipping
3:00of quarterback 21 and quarterback 20.
3:03But again, the thing with Willis, very
3:05similar to the dribbling situation, is
3:07how much of it was just kind of the
3:08alchemy of the Green Bay offense. How
3:10much of that was the floor and how much
3:11of it was Malik Willis? And Willis
3:13looked hyper competent and Deon Hen
3:15looked like a true workhorse in that
3:17game. Now, this is a little bit of an
3:20interesting one, but Taj Spears and Pard
3:22rotated in periods of about five plays.
3:25They did not rotate by situation and
3:27then they left the game together at the
3:29same time. Cam Ward actually looked like
3:31legitimately awful in this game. So, I
3:33thought that was well, I thought that
3:35was pretty discouraging because I was
3:36expecting Kim Ward to look better. I
3:38thought that there was a potential for
3:40Brian Dable to upgrade the situation and
3:42you know, it definitely still could
3:43happen. Spears had the longest run
3:45between the two. Pard did get the goal
3:47line carry. Obviously, the assumption
3:49with these guys has been Pard is going
3:51to be the early down back. He is going
3:52to get the lion share of the touches and
3:54Spears is going to be the passing down
3:56back, but the preseason usage from game
3:58one did not exactly look like that. Cam
4:02Scataboo started the game. He played
4:04five of 12 early down snaps. He left the
4:06field on every third down. Um I actually
4:09disagree with the do not draft Scataboo
4:11at this current price. Other players in
4:13the same range have more secure roles. I
4:14don't think I agree with that. That is
4:16uh that's a little bit of hallucinated
4:18claw slop for you guys there. However, I
4:21am legitimately worried that Tracy did
4:23take all three of the third down snaps.
4:24We will see if that trend continues in
4:26preseason week two. I mean, maybe we
4:28will get a different kind of update or
4:30statement from the coaching staff. One
4:32of the things you have to remember,
4:33though, is that this offense is going
4:35from like a legitimately pretty good
4:37offensive mind in Brian Dable to a much
4:40more oldfashioned Matt Naggi system with
4:44Harbaugh and Greg Roman involved. I
4:46mean, frankly, the Giants coaching staff
4:48does not make me feel good at all about
4:50these guys in fantasy. I do think
4:52there's probably a little bit more risk
4:54with Cam Scataboo than the market has
4:56been projecting. Devin Singleary also
4:59contributed with the starters which I
5:00thought was uh interesting and I
5:03definitely don't think that it was good.
5:05Uh Darnell Washington did play more than
5:08Pat Frymouth. However, Fri came in in
5:11all the obvious passing situations. I
5:13think the actual concern here I still
5:15like Pat Fri. I'm not doing too much
5:17with him in my rankings. However, here's
5:19a real concern for me, which is that the
5:23team played a lot of 12. They played a
5:25lot of 12. They actually even played a
5:26little bit of 13. They had a fullback
5:28come in. They had Robert Tonan come in.
5:29That is not good for Jeremy Bernard.
5:31Because if the Pittsburgh Steelers with
5:33Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rogers choose to
5:35use 12 personnel as their base set, that
5:39doesn't leave much room for Jeremy to be
5:40a starter if until he ends up beating
5:43out Michael Pitman Jr. as the second
5:46wide receiver on the team, which I don't
5:47think is going to be the usage plan in
5:49week one. Femouth only entered these
5:51games in the obvious passing situation.
5:53So, he might be more of a 60 65% route
5:56share guy than a 70 70% route share guy,
5:59which would be a bummer. I've got very
6:01sad news to report here, which is that
6:03Bree Hall played all of the snaps with
6:05the starters, stayed on the field for
6:07two third downs. However, as I'm
6:08recording this Monday morning at 9:00
6:10a.m., he just left practice with what is
6:12expected to be listed as a groin injury.
6:15Isaiah Davis did not play. He is
6:17injured. Brillin Allen actually looked
6:18very good in this game. Ripped off a
6:20nice long touchdown run. So, we are in
6:23on Bree Hall, assuming that this groin
6:25injury does not end up being a bigger
6:27deal. Jonathan Brooks played his very
6:30first game since December 2024. He
6:32played in every situation except for
6:34third and long. Carolina used Brooks on
6:36early downs and in short yard
6:37situations. Obviously, the massive
6:39takeaway here is that Jonathan Brooks
6:41was deemed healthy enough by the medical
6:43staff and by the coaching staff to play
6:45in a preseason game. I I can't really
6:47imagine a bigger headline. In fact, I
6:48would say this is probably the biggest
6:51headline of any of these headlines in
6:53fantasy football. I I I mean, I was not
6:56anticipating this. really my thought in
6:58drafting Jonathan Brooks this off
7:00seasonason has been it would be really
7:02nice if he was able to be active and
7:03healthy in week one and eventually take
7:05that job over Chuba Hubard but now that
7:07Chuba Huard is banged up he has the
7:09hamstring injury Jonathan Brooks made it
7:11through a preseason game without getting
7:12injured obviously uh he did not look
7:14particularly good in this game is that
7:16something that I care about no that's
7:18what we talk about roles being more
7:20important in the preseason than like
7:22actual generated statistics I I do want
7:24to go back here and make one note on the
7:26Jets actually though which is that Omar
7:27Cooper Jr. played with the reserves and
7:30behind Isaiah Williams. So, I've cooled
7:32off on Omar Cooper Jr. and reddraft a
7:34little bit. I mean, in the end of the
7:35day, a round one pick is going to find
7:37his way onto the field, but I am not
7:39personally jamming Omar Cooper Jr. in
7:42right now. Uh Quinn Sean Judkins played
7:44100% of the early down and short yard
7:47snaps. Dylan Samson played only on third
7:49and medium or third and long. Jerome
7:51Ford is gone. Doesn't look like they
7:53have had anyone subsume his role. It
7:55looks like it's really going to be a
7:56twoman backfield, which is actually
7:58better for Dylan Samson and actually
8:00better for Judkins. I think both of
8:01these guys are clear targets right now.
8:04The concern we have with this team is
8:06just, well, okay, how good is the team
8:08going to be able to be when Deshun
8:09Watson looked as bad as he did? Deshun
8:11Watson looked really bad. Shader Sanders
8:14looked really bad. I I'm very concerned.
8:16I mean, I would love to draft Conpion
8:18who looked incredible in this game. I
8:19would love to draft Denzel Boston, who
8:21looked incredible in this game. I mean,
8:23these guys would be like legitimate
8:24priority targets for me. I mean, if we
8:26were able to get a Cleveland Browns
8:28offense that finished something like, I
8:31don't know, 21st in EPA per play as a
8:34team, you could tell me that Judkins,
8:36Boston, Conpsion, Fannon, that like two
8:38of those guys were legitimate league
8:40winners because of the way they're
8:41priced. I I just don't really think that
8:43that can happen. Jacobe Lane used the
8:45same three receivers for the fourth
8:46drives. Elijah Serat did not enter into
8:48the fifth drive. Flowers and Baitman did
8:50not play. It was Lane and Devontes
8:52Walker who were the top two receivers
8:54with the reserve unit there. Jacobe Lane
8:56looked awesome. He continues that insane
8:59run. I mean, if you listen to the
9:01reports from the Baltimore Ravens
9:02training camp, these guys are talking
9:03about him like he is freaking prime
9:06Randy Moss. It has actually kind of been
9:07unbelievable. And it does seem that
9:09Serat is behind him. So, you guys have
9:11my permission to just draft Jacobe Lane.
9:13If you want to take Jacobe Lane in the
9:1414th round of your league, I think you
9:16have full permission. I I like him. I
9:18still like Cyrus Allen as well. In fact,
9:20I I have Cyrus Allen ahead of Jacobe
9:22Lane in my rankings, but that is like a
9:24relatively low degree of confidence,
9:26honestly. Like, Cyrus Allen is not going
9:27to be a starter. I just think the
9:29offense sets up better for him. Another
9:31note there is that Matthew Hibner looked
9:33really good in this game. The reports on
9:35Mark Andrews have continually been like
9:38fairly bearish honestly on Mark Andrews.
9:40So, I do like taking Jacobe Lane in my
9:43drafts right now. And I and I think you
9:45can start to take some shots on Hibner
9:46in tight end premium formats. Some short
9:49uh things to note here. Isaiah likely
9:51only played on passing downs. Six out of
9:5410 snaps in 11 personnel. Theo Johnson
9:56took the other four. Tedoy McMillan
9:58moved into the slot when the team moved
10:01into 11 personnel. Casey Conpsion only
10:05took one 12 personnel staff in place of
10:07Judy. Uh basically he doesn't get
10:09removed in two wide receiver sets which
10:11is a big advantage. I mean that's
10:12actually huge, right? to know that
10:14Conpsion is going to be able to play and
10:16that they're just going to have him as a
10:17starter in week one. Daltton Concincaid
10:18and Knox played all five snaps with the
10:20starters in 12 personnel. So, it was
10:22concaid ahead of Haw. It's actually a
10:24pretty big deal. Doesn't sound like a
10:25pretty big deal, but if Daltton Concaid
10:27is going to end up being able to play
10:29these running formations, I mean, his
10:32snap floor is going to absolutely shoot
10:35up. The Bengals ran a bunch of plays
10:37under centered, something that they have
10:38been talking about quite a bit this off
10:40season. Uh, do I really think this
10:42matters that much? I mean, it might not
10:44be particularly good for Chase Brown.
10:45Might be a little bit better for Jamar
10:46Chase. Not a big deal. Jaden Blue played
10:49a ton in the first half. You don't
10:51particularly love that. Malik Davis did
10:53not play into the second half. Seems
10:55right now that Jaden Blue is going to be
10:56the backup to Javvante Williams, but not
10:58a particularly valued one. Pat Bryant
11:01had a 100% route share on the first two
11:03drives. He left the game with Sutton.
11:05Troy Franklin remained in with the
11:07backups. I am heavily targeting Pat
11:09Bryant in drafts right now. Michael
11:11Wilson actually played fewer snaps than
11:13Kendrick Bourne. Not that this is like
11:15that big of a deal, but it does feel
11:17that Michael Wilson has maybe a little
11:18bit more of a specialized role. One last
11:21note here that did not make it to my
11:22recap was that Katron Allen got 23
11:26rushes for the Commanders, was playing
11:28with the the Greek kid from Ruters in
11:31the third quarter. So, to me, it does
11:33seem that JCM and Rashad White are
11:35absolutely locked in to their roles for
11:37the Washington Football Commanders. But
11:39that was everything that mattered from
11:40preseason week one. If there's anything
11:42I missed, comment down below. Make sure
