Bryce Lance

PositiveSleeper13:20

Bryce Lance is a recommended waiver target for deeper leagues alongside Bub Means, as the market is currently underestimating their potential to steal snaps from Devon Vele.

Insight page

Bub Means

PositiveSleeper13:20

Bub Means is a recommended waiver target in deeper formats (14-16 teams) following an impressive preseason; he is expected to contribute as a returner and in gadget roles.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection3:52

The source expresses skepticism regarding the current hype surrounding Cam Ward, noting a desire to buy into the narrative but ultimately failing to do so.

Insight page

Charlie Kolar

PositiveBreakout10:33

Charlie Kolar is projected to be the lead tight end for the Chargers, with an expected 67% route participation. He is a recommended streamer in deeper leagues and a high-ownership asset in dynasty.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveUsage12:52

Cyrus Allen is a speculative roster add; if he earns more routes than Tyquan Thornton, he is worth a spot in 12-team leagues, though he should be dropped if he fails to earn targets.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue8:46

Dalton Schultz is an undervalued tight end streamer who consistently sees around six targets per game (6.2 per game last year). He could potentially lead the Texans in receiving due to the lack of dynamic options outside of Nico Collins.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

PositiveProjection2:33

Daniel Jones is characterized as a high-turnover quarterback with a below-league-average sack rate and a history of high fumble rates, making him a prime target for the Ravens defense.

Insight page

Emari Demercado

PositiveSleeper18:17

Amari Demercado is a worthwhile stash in deeper formats as the current handcuff to Javonte Williams in the Cowboys backfield. The source notes the backfield is in flux following Malik Davis's season-ending hip surgery.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

NegativeUsage12:08

Gunner Helm is a deep-league tight end option projected for 75-80% route participation, though the source prefers Charlie Kolar over him.

Insight page

Jacob Saylors

PositiveSleeper19:48

Jacob Saylors is a recommended stash candidate who may emerge as the primary backup running back for the Detroit Lions, with the source citing his impressive performance in the UFL as evidence of his potential value.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeProjection2:02

Malik Willis is a high-turnover risk, with the source projecting a scenario of limited completions (around 11), multiple sacks (four), and frequent fumbles, which enhances the Raiders defense's streaming appeal. Despite this, he remains a high-priority stash in leagues with deep benches due to his rushing upside; the source suggests he should be 100% owned if he performs well.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveRole8:10

With Brock Bowers out, Michael Mayer is a top-12 tight end streamer. He is projected for an 85% route share and an 18% target share against Miami.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveBreakout14:27

Tre Harris is a high-priority stash; the source suggests he may be clearly better than Quentin Johnston, noting his elite 5.5 yards per route run in his final college season.

0:00All right, it's that time of year.
0:01You're in a bunch of fantasy football
0:02leagues and you realize you have to
0:03start a defense, a kicker, and a tight
0:06end. So, every single week on this
0:07channel, we are going to take a look at
0:09streaming defenses, kickers, and tight
0:11ends that I would actually start. If you
0:13were not in a very serious fantasy
0:14football league, this is probably not
0:16going to be for you. These are all going
0:18to be teams, defenses, kickers, whatever
0:20that are under 40% owned on Yahoo
0:22Fantasy Football. Beginning with
0:24defense, I did notice that the
0:26Pittsburgh Steelers, who are up against
0:28Cooper Rush and the Atlanta Falcons, I
0:30actually was able to pick them up in two
0:32of my home leagues. There basically is
0:34no better spot than this. The implied
0:36total for the Atlanta Falcons is 17.75
0:40in this game. I expect Cooper Rush to
0:42basically be one of the five worst
0:44quarterbacks that takes the field this
0:46week in the NFL. If you were able to get
0:48the Steelers, they would be to me
0:50equivalent to being able to get the Los
0:51Angeles Chargers or the Jacksonville
0:53Jaguars in terms of streaming.
0:55Obviously, if you can start the Seattle
0:56Seahawks with their 13 points in week
0:58one, that you should do so. Next up,
1:01again, controversially, I actually have
1:03the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, generally
1:04speaking with defensive streamers, what
1:06you want is you want the ability to face
1:09a lot of pass attempts because that is
1:11where fantasy points happen in fantasy
1:14defenses, right? So, you get points for
1:15sacks, you get points for interceptions,
1:17and obviously DST touchdowns are what
1:19we're really after, but you also get a
1:22bonus that Malik Willis might just be
1:23really bad. I mean, I don't think he is.
1:25I actually am hoping I'm wrong about
1:26this and that the Raiders end up not
1:28being a particularly good streamer.
1:30However, there is a chance that Malik
1:32Willis has like 27 dropbacks in this
1:34game and completes like 11 passes and
1:36eats four sacks and the team is fumbling
1:39all over the place. Uh, and it's also
1:40it's a relatively high floor situation
1:43because I don't think the Dolphins are
1:44going to put up 30. I basically think
1:45that is impossible. Next up, we have the
1:47Baltimore Ravens who were available in
1:50more leagues than I thought they would
1:51be. And they are up against the Achilles
1:54recovery, Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones has
1:56a below league average sack rate, a
1:58below league average interception rate.
2:00He is a high turnover quarterback. He
2:02is. I don't know if this is true
2:03anymore, but for the first couple years
2:05of his career, he had the highest fumble
2:08rate of any starting quarterback in the
2:10National Football League. Just an
2:11absolute turnoverprone situation for
2:14them. And the Baltimore Ravens have a
2:16revamped defense this year. I feel very,
2:18very good about the Ravens who are less
2:20than 40% owned on Yahoo Fantasy
2:22Football. And then our fourth streamer
2:24here, I got the New York Jets against
2:26the Tennessee Titans. I basically just
2:28want to be so short on the Tennessee
2:31Titans. I I'm not buying the Dable
2:32thing. I wish that I could buy the Cam
2:34Ward thing, but I am not. So, these
2:36defenses, the Steelers, the Raiders, the
2:38Ravens, and the Jets are all defenses
2:41that I'm actually starting in real
2:43leagues for my own money where I am
2:44trying to win. Uh so, what we're going
2:47to do every single week is we are going
2:48to review our performance and see how we
2:50did the week before. Our kicker
2:51streamers, we've got Kyro Santos. He is
2:53a top five kicker for me this week.
2:56Implied total of 25 and a half points
2:58for the Chicago Bears. I think they are
3:00going to be marching down the field
3:02against the Carolina Panthers. Would not
3:04surprise me if Santos ends up outscoring
3:06Cam Little, if he ends up outscoring
3:08Cameron Dicker, if he ends up outscoring
3:10Brandon Aubrey. All of those guys are of
3:12course, you know, 100% owned basically
3:14in fantasy football. But my guy Kairo
3:16Santos is my top streaming kicker,
3:18followed by Trey Smack. I like both of
3:20the kickers in the dome game there. So,
3:22we've got Will Riker and Trey Smack.
3:25Relatively good implied total for both
3:27of those teams. I would be a little bit
3:29worried about the goal line play calling
3:31for both of them. You know, that's kind
3:32of one of the secrets with uh with
3:34picking up kickers is pretty good
3:36offenses or decent offenses, but coaches
3:38who heir on the side of being way too
3:40conservative. And I know for a fact that
3:43Mr. Laflur is one of the most
3:44conservative goal line play calling
3:46coaches in the entire National Football
3:48League. So, Santos smack. Next up, we
3:50have got Chris Boswell. This is just
3:52more on that game. Again, this is just
3:54going to be a procession down the field
3:57for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I I would
3:59not be surprised to see them easily blow
4:01past their 23.75 implied team total. I I
4:04think the Falcons have absolutely no
4:06hope in this game. And also, again,
4:08would not surprise me to see a little
4:09bit of red zone futility for that team.
4:12So, we've got Santos smack Mr. Boswell,
4:14and then Will Riker, uh, who I think
4:17frankly to me is probably like the top
4:19five kicker this week as well, gets that
4:22game in the dome. I am again larger, you
4:24know, higher on the market on Kyler
4:27Murray, on KOC, on Justin Jefferson. I
4:30expect the Minnesota Vikings to be quite
4:31good at football this year. That's kind
4:33of a minority opinion, but I I think
4:35their offense is going to do quite well.
4:36So, we have our defense streamers and we
4:39have our kicking streamers. And then
4:41finally, I hope you probably are not
4:43having to use these right now, but we
4:45have got our tight end streamers. I
4:47mean, hopefully you have a better plan
4:49at tight end. But beginning with Michael
4:51Mayer, I I'm assuming he's already owned
4:53in your league, but I did just want to
4:54make sure to cover with Brock Bowers
4:56out. We have got Michael Mayer, who to
4:57me is going to be a top I think I
5:00believe on flockfantasy.com, which you
5:02can sign up using the season pass or you
5:04can just use code Davis over there. The
5:06season pass is $34. I have him ranked as
5:09a top 12 tight end this week. I'm
5:11probably going to have him ranked as a
5:12top 12 tight end. Every single week that
5:14Brock Bowers does not play, he should
5:15have about an 85% route share. I'm
5:18expecting about an 18% target share for
5:20him in this game against Miami. This is
5:22also a positive matchup for the Las
5:25Vegas Raiders. Daltton Schultz, I was
5:27actually quite surprised to see Dalton
5:29Schultz not being 50% owned on Yahoo
5:31Fantasy Football. Again, in good fantasy
5:33leagues, smart fantasy football leagues,
5:35he is probably going to be on 6.2
5:37targets per game for him last year. If I
5:40guaranteed you, basically, if I just
5:42gave you any fictional tight end and I
5:45said, "Hey, this guy is absolutely free
5:46in your fantasy football league and I
5:48will guarantee you he gets six targets
5:50in a game." You would probably just
5:51start that guy, you know, for the rest
5:53of the year in fantasy football. The the
5:55position has such low floors and
5:57honestly, if you don't have Bowers,
5:59well, rest in peace Bowers, Trey
6:01McBride, Coulson Loveland, or Tyler
6:02Warren, maybe Tucker Craft as well. The
6:05ceiling on the position is just not that
6:07high. So I think taking someone like
6:08Schultz who you just, you know, you get
6:10your four for 40 and you move on. Also
6:12would just would not surprise me for him
6:15to, you know, potentially even be the
6:17leading receiver in this game because I
6:18I don't think the Houston Texans passing
6:21game is going to be very dynamic. Like
6:23Nico Collins is the guy that you erase
6:25and they have very little outside of
6:26him. I mean, I don't know, maybe they
6:28get more from Kan Booty that I am
6:30anticipating, but Daltton Schultz is my
6:31second streamer. Then we have got
6:33Charlie Kar. You guys are all going to
6:35hate this one. No one wants to admit
6:36that Charlie Kar is going to be the lead
6:39tight end for the Los Angeles Chargers,
6:41but he is. I mean, he's never had more
6:43than 143 yards uh in a season, in his
6:46career, an implied team total of 28 and
6:48a half for the Chargers this week. I'm
6:50just going to tell you guys right now. I
6:53you're going to watch fantasy football
6:55videos next week and fantasy football
6:57analysts who they do this for their job.
6:58They're going to be like, "Well, we
7:00never thought Charlie Kar would run 67%
7:02of the routes for the Chargers. We
7:03thought it was going to be David and
7:04Jooku. We thought it was going to be a
7:06Ronda Gadston. And then they're going to
7:07look at the route data and see that
7:08Ronda Gadston ran nine routes against
7:11the Arizona Cardinals. I I actually am I
7:14mean Kar in my deeper stuff and in
7:16Dynasty Leagues, he's got to be one of
7:18my most owned tight ends right now. And
7:20if I was in a 14 team league, a 16 team
7:22league, like I I would legitimately
7:24start Kar this week against the Arizona
7:26Cardinals. Gunner Helm is for the truly
7:29desperate. Frankly, I would straight up
7:31start Charlie Kar over Gunnar Helm. Uh,
7:33and Michael Mayer obviously being the
7:35the number one guy who is available, but
7:37Gunner, I think, is going to have, you
7:38know, 80% 75% route participation. I'm
7:41not really that worried about Daniel
7:42Bellinger as implied by taking the Jets
7:44as a defensive streamer. I feel that we
7:46are going to get, you know, 35 40 drop
7:48backs from the Tennessee Titans in this
7:50game. I don't think it's going to be a
7:51Tony Pard Taj Spears game. And I was
7:53actually quite high on Gunnar as a
7:55prospect coming out of Texas. thought
7:56there were some green shoots of ability
7:58for him last year as well. And then our
8:01final tight end streamer is going to be
8:02Pat Frymouth. I basically I basically
8:04would just take any Steeler this week.
8:06If there was a Steeler who was like even
8:08close to being able to play or even
8:10close to being a start in fantasy
8:12football. I'm starting Dowel. I'm
8:14starting Warren. I think Rogers like
8:16Rogers is like a top 20 quarterback this
8:18week. The Falcons are are just going to
8:19get bowled over this week. So we have
8:22the Pittsburgh Steelers. So those are
8:23all of our streamers.
8:26We will review the performance next week
8:28and you guys can say, "Davis, you know
8:29what you're doing." Or, "Davis, you
8:31don't know ball at all." And now we have
8:33our stashes. This is very
8:35self-explanatory. These are guys to pick
8:37up before the main games on Sunday. They
8:40should be free on your waivers. And they
8:42are guys that we are going to get
8:44information about. I think there's very
8:46clearformational situations with all
8:48these guys. And then guess what? If they
8:50are zeros, then you drop them when we go
8:52to do our waiverss on next Tuesday and
8:54Wednesday. at quarterback. I think Malik
8:56Willis, if you are in a league with
8:58relatively deep benches and you don't
9:00have a super solid answer at
9:02quarterback, there's no excuse for Malik
9:04Willis to be on your waiverss. If he
9:05looks great against the Raiders, if you
9:07know, if I'm wrong and the Raiders are a
9:08bad defensive streamer. If Malik Willis
9:10runs 11 times for 66 yards and a
9:12touchdown, he should be 100% owned in
9:15fantasy football. There is no substitute
9:17for rushing at the quarterback position,
9:18as my friend Rich Reebar calls it, the
9:20Konami code. I I think he needs to be
9:23basically he should be 100% owned this
9:25weekend and then if we have to toss him
9:26back next weekend, I think that is
9:28totally fine. And then if you are in a
9:30superflex league, you need to pick up
9:32Jack Strand because my guess is that
9:34Cooper Rush is going to play awful in
9:36this game. My guess is is that we might
9:39never see two of play football again.
9:41Might be on the early retirement Russell
9:43Wilson path. Remember Russell Wilson
9:45retired in the middle of last season. We
9:46never saw him again. And Michael Pennock
9:49Jr. is still not healthy. So, there's a
9:50chance that we get multiple games of
9:52Jack Strand playing at quarterback. Have
9:54not seen him owned in too many of my
9:56Superflex leagues. I'm in a bunch of
9:57Superflex leagues and he is my number
10:00one pickup this week. A really
10:02interesting prospect. Came out of MSU
10:04Morehead and apparently turned down a
10:05bunch of NIL money to go play FBS
10:08football. So, I just think very
10:09interesting. Needs to be owned in
10:11Superflex formats for at the running
10:12back position. Again, if you do not have
10:15Caleb Johnson before kickoff on Sunday,
10:17you cannot call yourself a viewer of
10:19this channel. We are going to get an
10:21insane amount of information basically
10:23in the next 72 hours. There is a chance
10:25that Caleb Johnson leads the Packers in
10:26rushing. There's a chance that he is a
10:28healthy scratch. There's a chance that
10:29Josh Jacobs is suspended two games, four
10:31games, six games. But there is basically
10:33no excuse to have a second tight end or
10:36you know, I mean like I would basically
10:38have Caleb Johnson in terms of my
10:40priority of keeping on my roster this
10:42weekend. I would have him as like a top
10:4450 running back or something like that.
10:46I would keep him over a bunch of these
10:47stashes at wide receiver. He's my number
10:49one informational stash this weekend. If
10:52he is out there on waiverss in your
10:54league, he absolutely needs to be on
10:55your roster. There is no excuse
10:57otherwise. After him, we've got Amari D.
10:59Marcato. I don't know what's going to
11:01happen in the Cowboys backfield, but
11:02Malik Davis just had to have surgery on
11:04his hip. He's going to be out for the
11:05rest of the year. So, the Cowboys
11:07backfield is Javvante Williams, Amari Di
11:09Marcato, and Israel Aanicanda. I think
11:12the only reason they kept Abanicanda
11:13over Phil Mafa and Jaden Blue is for
11:15special team stuff. So, as it stands
11:17right now, D Marcato is the handcuff to
11:20Javvante Williams. Now, if Javvante
11:22Williams were to get injured, they would
11:23have to do something because you can't
11:24have Amari D. Marcato as the lead
11:27running back for a team that wants to
11:28make the postseason. I mean, he got
11:29waved for the Kansas City Chiefs for
11:31like a bum rookie. Uh, well, not a bum
11:33rookie, a rookie I actually like. And
11:34then Bashard Smith. Maybe they would
11:37trade for James Connor. I maybe they'd
11:39sign Kareem Hunt. I don't know. But
11:41again, we're going to get a ton of
11:42information about D Marcato this
11:44weekend. and I think he is a worthwhile
11:46stash particularly in deeper formats.
11:47And then we've got Jacob Sailors who
11:49just very well might be the second
11:50running back on the Detroit Lions. It
11:52also might be Sion Baky. So you could
11:54put him on this list as well as a stash.
11:57And very easy to toss these guys back if
12:00we are wrong. Or maybe Jir Gibbs handles
12:02every single rush for the Detroit Lions
12:04against the New Orleans Saints. That is
12:06definitely potentially possible. Don't
12:07think it's the modal outcome. And maybe
12:09Jacob Sailor gets like nine rushes and
12:12he's gonna cost 25% of your free agent
12:14acquisition budget next weekend. But
12:16because you guys watch this channel and
12:18not bad fantasy football channels, you
12:20already know about Jacob Sailors who is
12:22legitimately awesome in the UFFL. He was
12:24basically the Christian McAffrey of the
12:26UFFL. So I think that there is a little
12:28bit of juice to his game. The wide
12:30receiver position, we should get a lot
12:31of information about Jeremy Bernard.
12:33Also a chance he has a good game here.
12:35We will see what the route participation
12:36split between him and Roman Wilson is.
12:38If he somehow does run more routes in
12:40week one than Roman Wilson, he's going
12:43to be a relatively hot pickup in deeper
12:45leagues or just like very serious
12:47fantasy football leagues le next week.
12:49So, I want you guys to be keeping close
12:51eye on Jeremy Bernard. Then we have
12:52Cyrus Allen. Could be anywhere from a
12:55healthy scratch to the wide receiver
12:56five to the wide receiver three for the
12:58Kansas City Chiefs. I'm very interested
12:59to see the route split between him,
13:01Xavier Worthy, Rashi Rice, and Taekwon
13:03Thornton. If he somehow runs more routes
13:05than Taekwon Thornton, he is definitely
13:07worth a roster spot in even like 12 team
13:09fantasy football leagues. And guess
13:11what? If he runs 11 routes and is not
13:13targeted, then we are letting him go and
13:15we are picking up the week 2 flavor of
13:18the week on the waiver wire. I've got
13:20two New Orleans Saints here, Barry and
13:22Brown and Bryce Lance. The market seems
13:24to be saying there is no chance that
13:27Devon Vele is losing snaps to Barryian
13:29Brown and Bryce Lance. And I just can't
13:30say I agree with that. Devon Vele is a I
13:34mean I was about to say he's a perfectly
13:35chromulent NFL player, but he's really
13:37not even that. I I mean he is the most
13:40generic replacement level wide receiver.
13:42The guy's already 30 years old. Barry
13:44and Brown and Bryce Lance had awesome
13:46preseasons. The coaches were raving
13:48about them. Brown is also for sure going
13:50to be involved as a kick returner and
13:52punt returner. And generally guys like
13:54that start to get a little bit of work
13:55as like ender rounds and screens and
13:58designer touches. I don't know which one
13:59of these guys is ahead right now between
14:01Barry and Brown or Bryce Lance. But I
14:03know it's a pretty good matchup and
14:04we're also should get a decent amount of
14:06information in terms of are the Saints
14:08going to play in base 11, base 12, like
14:10what is the overall plan there? But I
14:13feel pretty good about both of these
14:14guys particularly in like any kind of
14:16deeper format. 14 team league, 16 team
14:18leagues. I am in a couple 16 team
14:21dynasty leagues and I picked Barry and
14:22Brown up off the waiverss in all three
14:25of them this weekend. So keep a close
14:27eye there. And then our final wide
14:28receiver is Trey Harris of the Los
14:30Angeles Chargers. Again, we are going to
14:32learn a ton of information about the Los
14:34Angeles Chargers. What is their base
14:36personnel? Maybe maybe I'm wrong. Maybe
14:38I should not be so stupid to think that
14:39Charlie Clar is finally going to be a
14:41receiving threat and maybe a Ronda
14:42Gatsson runs a ton of routes or maybe
14:44David Ajoku turns back the clock and you
14:47know has I don't know four catches for
14:4944 yards and a touchdown. Like I guess
14:51that's all totally possible. It's also
14:53possible that last year's second round
14:54pick who had 5.5 yards per route run his
14:57final season at Old Miss is just clearly
14:59better than Quinton Johnston. And I'll
15:00tell you what, if Trey Harris has six
15:02catches for 82 yards and a touchdown on
15:0678 route participation, you are going to
15:08have to pay an absolute arm and a leg.
15:10He is 3% owned right now um on Yahoo
