A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury13:13

AJ Brown has missed time with two separate injuries and carries a degenerative knee condition; Antonio Williams expects him to barely contribute to the Patriots for the remainder of the season, significantly impacting the team's offensive outlook.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

PositiveBreakout0:35

Scored 27 PPR points in Week 8 with 74% route share and 29% target share, playing through a broken finger. Antonio Williams ranks him above Omar Cooper Jr. and calls him an elite stylistic fit for Gino Smith. Projects Mitchell to outscore Cooper Jr. for the rest of the year; cites elite career metrics in targets per route run and separation at catch point. Already owns him on multiple fantasy teams and would add him if he didn't, citing a very different version of Mitchell this year. Ranked #3 waiver wire add for Week 9.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveUsage0:05

In Washington's first game without Terry McLaurin, Williams ran 88% of routes with a 25% target share despite scoring only 10 PPR points. The coaching staff is intentionally loading his plate as Stefan Diggs, a 33-year-old with season-ending injuries in two of his last three seasons, is being managed carefully. Antonio Williams (Antonio Williams) ranks him the top waiver wire wide receiver of the week and the #1 overall waiver wire add for Week 9.

Insight page

Austin Ekeler

NegativeRole16:16

Ekeler played 17 of 20 early-down snaps but only 20% of long-down-and-distance snaps for Washington, making him primarily an early-down back. With Jeremy McNichols out for the season with a foot injury, Ekeler's role could expand as he continues recovering from his Achilles injury. Antonio Williams views him as a low-priority add but notes there is a chance Ekeler could lead the backfield in overall snaps next week as he gets healthier.

Insight page

Bam Knight

NegativeInjury0:48

Suffered a significant concussion for the Arizona Cardinals, contributing to backfield uncertainty. Recommended as a drop candidate for Week 9; has lost his depth chart standing with Tyler Algier positioned ahead of him on the rotation.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeProjection11:47

Brian Thomas Jr. scored a touchdown last week but only ran 52% of routes and had 13% of targets; his fantasy tier is heavily dependent on trade deadline outcome—remaining with Jacksonville makes him undesirable, but trades to Chiefs, Steelers, or especially the Rams would elevate him to S-tier must-have status. Antonio Williams notes the relationship with Jacksonville appears soured despite low trade probability.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveUsage20:19

Cyrus Allen ran 50% of the routes for the Kansas City Chiefs, a big uptick. If the Chiefs don't trade for a receiver (Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, or Brian Thomas Jr.), Antonio Williams suggests they might deploy Allen as a day-three rookie option given their passing offense struggles. Williams already views Allen as a better wide receiver than Xavier Worthy and believes Allen could out-target Worthy in the back half of the season.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

PositiveRole13:13

Douglas scored a touchdown and continues to earn good volume, establishing himself as a pretty much full-time player with Romeo Dubs out. Antonio Williams views him as very interesting and qualifies him as a low-end streamer in favorable matchups when the Patriots have a higher total or are expected to increase dropbacks.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeBust23:50

Watson took 8 sacks in the previous week, indicating severe offensive line issues and poor play. Antonio Williams emphasizes the magnitude: "Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, but eight sacks last week. I mean, just unbelievable how bad Deshaun Watson is playing." This makes New Orleans an elite streaming defense spot against Watson and the Cleveland Browns.

Insight page

Devin Neal

PositiveRole21:06

Devin Neil faces the same situation as Evan Hull: Jeremy McNichols injured his foot, Austin Eckler is returning from injury, and Rashad White has been ineffective ("juiceless"). Antonio Williams would add Neil for one dollar and would not be surprised if by week 13 Neil is ranked as a starting player in 14-16 team leagues.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury15:15

Smith does not appear to be trending back from injury for the Philadelphia Eagles, which limits his fantasy outlook and supports the case for Elijah Mitchell to receive significant touches as the lead back.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveUsage11:22

Dylan Samson scored 12.9 PPR points last week, played 56% of snaps, 69% of long down-and-distance situations, and played all third downs; he actually played one more snap than Quinnshan Judkins, which Antonio Williams views as fairly bullish. The 2024 SEC offensive player of the year is preventing Judkins from earning the passing-down role the team wanted for him.

Insight page

Elijah Mitchell

PositiveProjection13:56

Mitchell played 57% of snaps and 79% of long down-and-distance work but scored only 7.7 PPR points. Antonio Williams projects him as the lead back for the Philadelphia Eagles and expects him to receive approximately 15 touches per game for the rest of the season, given the Eagles' 2-6 record and season being effectively over. With Saquon Barkley potentially tradeable if the front office receives a meaningful offer and DeVonta Smith not trending back from injury, Mitchell is positioned to be the primary ball-carrier.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

NegativeUsage26:50

Antonio Williams identifies Wilson as a clear drop candidate for Week 9. Wilson received absolutely no touches or rushes in the previous game, indicating he has completely lost his role in the backfield.

Insight page

Evan Hull

PositiveRole19:00

Hull is positioned to be active for the Arizona Cardinals next week after Tyler Algier played the final 40 offensive snaps in the Cardinals' recent game. Jeremiah Love reinjured his ankle and Bam Knight suffered a gnarly concussion, opening the door for Hull. Antonio Williams frames Hull as a handcuff add that could become a starter if the lead back gets injured, similar to how Damen Pierce became valuable behind Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley in Philadelphia. For strong rosters, spending one dollar or claiming Hull as a free agent before it costs money is what separates elite fantasy managers from casual players.

Insight page

Geno Smith

NegativeBust23:03

Gino Smith's primary weakness is taking excessive sacks, which makes him a fade candidate for Week 9. Antonio Williams notes: "one of his big issues is he just takes way too many sacks." Smith faces the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 9.5-point favorites, making Kansas City an elite streaming defense spot despite the Chiefs' tough season.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeInjury9:09

Hunter Henry suffered a foot injury; his absence led to Eli Ren playing 92% of offensive snaps. If Henry misses multiple weeks, it could elevate Ren into tier-three tight end consideration.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

PositiveValue22:27

Top 2 streaming QB option for Week 9, particularly in super flex leagues and situations with missing or injured quarterbacks. Antonio Williams is cautiously bullish: "I'm not ready to fully live on JJ McCarthy Island, but I am purchasing a time share." McCarthy benefits from an elite matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have "totally given up on the season" and allow streaming at all positions. McCarthy gets to play at home against Detroit.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeDepth Chart16:57

Dobbins is eligible to return from designated-for-return IR next week. Given Washington's hesitancy to give Rashad White healthy ground work, Dobbins could be reinstalled as the lead back upon his return, which would limit White's role and upside. Additionally, Dobbins is recommended as a drop candidate for Week 9 due to a deteriorating backfield situation: RJ Harvey and Tyler Batty are both on IR, and the Colts are pursuing a trade for Jonathan Taylor, suggesting the team is looking to upgrade the position. Dobbins' production is minimal at 1.3 PBR points.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeInjury8:01

Jake Ferguson suffered an ankle sprain and is expected to miss at least two weeks. This injury impacts the tight end landscape and creates opportunity for other pass catchers like Ryan Floreno and opens up the starting tight end role for Brevin Spanford.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury0:50

Reinjured his ankle with a new ankle injury (distinct from preseason and Cowboys game injuries) for the Arizona Cardinals. Expected to miss the upcoming week. Contributes to backfield uncertainty and opens opportunities for other running backs like Tyler Algier and Evan Hull.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeDepth Chart3:28

The overwhelming favorite to be traded before the deadline, with Denver Broncos and New York Giants reported as interested teams. Antonio Williams personally expects Taylor will not remain an Indianapolis Colt after the trade deadline, making his fantasy value highly uncertain and dependent on trade destination.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout0:16

First-round wide receiver prospect who profiled incredibly well in advanced metrics, better than Carnell Tate before adjusting for draft capital. Has a very early breakout age and plays in a heavy plays-per-game offense. If activated this week, expected to be immediately featured ahead of Devon and Jawan Johnson; however, only hold on playoff-contending teams if not activated.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection18:09

Antonio Williams uses Kyle Pitts as a comparison point when evaluating Brevin Spanford's upside, noting that Spanford could easily project for more points than Pitts next week.

Insight page

Kyle Williams

PositiveProjection13:13

Kyle Williams saw only one target but scored a 42-yard touchdown; he has the lowest floor week-to-week as a target earner compared to Deario Douglas but the highest average depth of target, which translates to higher touchdown upside. Antonio Williams recommends him as a low-end streamer in favorable matchups, particularly when the Patriots have a higher total or are expected to increase dropbacks, such as the November 15th game against Detroit.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury28:10

Antonio Williams recommends dropping Lamar Jackson for Week 9. Jackson is on injured reserve (IR), making him unavailable for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveProjection17:13

Malik Washington finally cashed in on a touchdown last week, surpassing 11 PPR points, running 78% of routes with 20% target share. However, the Dolphins passing game is highly egalitarian with every starting pass catcher receiving five or six targets, making touchdown consistency unsustainable. Antonio Williams views Washington as a fine stop-gap option but prefers Patriots receivers if AJ Brown is unavailable.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeBust27:35

Antonio Williams recommends dropping Andrews for Week 9. Andrews produced only 4 PBR points despite running 71% of routes, indicating severe inefficiency and lack of production despite significant opportunity in the Ravens offense.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveValue11:01

Michael Mayer is a full-time player in the Raiders offense; with Brock Bowers functioning as a receiver and Trey Tucker and Jaylen Naylor as outside wide receivers, there's no reason Mayer and Bowers can't combine for 60% of Raiders targets in a given week. Antonio Williams views Mayer as a pretty good streaming option anytime the Raiders project as a dog or are expected to lose.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveUsage15:38

Gesicki trended up significantly in route participation at 74% of routes with 13% target share in games where the Bengals have high dropback volume. With Eric All and Tanner Hudson injured, Gesicki has more snap opportunities. Despite Antonio Williams being lower on him historically, Gesicki has scored in all but one game this season with six touchdowns, matching his career-high from 2020, suggesting strong touchdown upside.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeRole3:34

Mike Washington Jr. got the start over Ashton Genty with 25 rushes and 63% snap share but only 20% on long-down-and-distance and missed the short-yardage touchdown (Kurt Cousins scored instead). He ranks 41st-42nd in fantasy points per touch among running backs and is bottom-five in rushing yards over expectation. While he needs to be rostered, Ashton Genty's benching appears to be a quiet disciplining rather than a permanent role change, creating uncertainty about Washington's long-term role. Antonio Williams questions whether to start him if Genty remains active and won't rank him ahead of Genty despite Genty's unclear role.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection13:56

Barkley cashed in a goal-line touchdown but played fewer snaps than Elijah Mitchell. Despite telling Eagles riders he will not be traded, Antonio Williams expresses skepticism, noting that if the Eagles' front office receives a meaningful offer for Barkley, they would likely accept it given the team's 2-6 record and dead season. This trade uncertainty creates risk for his role and availability going forward.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

PositiveValue3:28

Played only 23% of snaps last week but could become the top waiver wire add of the week if Jonathan Taylor is traded before the video posts. The Indianapolis Colts are aggressively trading assets (Josh Douglas, Quinton Nelson, DeForest Buckner), and Taylor is the overwhelming favorite to be traded to Denver or the Giants. If Taylor is traded, McGawan would rank above Tyler Algier as the S-tier waiver add. Antonio Williams prefers adding McGawan over Mike Washington Jr., citing a much clearer path to starting opportunities. Ranked #2 waiver wire add for Week 9.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeUsage21:46

The Commanders have stated they don't want to give Diggs 11 targets per game, signaling a potential reduction in his target volume going forward. Antonio Williams believes the Commanders when they make this statement.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveBust20:59

Xavier Worthy, whom Antonio Williams liked coming into the year, just can't play and is not good enough. Despite running 93% of routes, Worthy produced only 4.3 PBR points, indicating severe inefficiency and lack of production despite opportunity. Williams already views Cyrus Allen as a better wide receiver than Worthy and believes Allen could out-target him in the back half of the season. Williams's tone is dismissive: "Adios, brother."

0:00Week nine waiverwire does have some real gems, but you need to be very careful about how you navigate it. Going to be
0:05go ahead and begin with Antonio Williams, who did only score 10 PPR points, but ran 88% of the routes with a
0:1125% target share in the Washington Commander first game without Terry McLuren. My guess heading into this game would be that Antonio Williams would be
0:18featured, and I I ended up being right about that. Stfan Diggs, the coaching staff, told us, "We are going to try and
0:24not put too much on Diggs' plate." And I think that's intelligent. Diggs is a 33-year-old wide receiver who's had season ending injuries in two of his
0:30most recent three seasons. To me, it makes sense to actually load more on the plate of Antonio Williams and that is
0:35very much how things looked against the Philadelphia Eagles. He is actually in my opinion the top waiverwire wide receiver out of the week ahead of Adnai
0:43Mitchell who we are going to talk about.
0:44Obviously, Tyler Elgier is the number one waiverwire claim pickup of the week.
0:48Bam Knight suffered a concussion.
0:50Jeremiah Love, according to reports, reinjured his ankle. And according to Arizona Cardinals beat Riders, it's a new ankle injury. Not the ankle injury
0:57he suffered in the preseason. Not the ankle injury he suffered against the Cowboys, but a new ankle injury. I would expect Jeremiah Love to probably not
1:03play this upcoming week for the Arizona Cardinals. And I would expect Tyler Algier start. And I'm going to expect Bam Knight to miss. We're going to talk
1:10about the rest of that Arizona Cardinals backfield a little bit later in this video. A reminder for all of you guys,
1:16if you were in a league where Jordan Tyson has been dropped, I'm expecting Jordan Tyson to play this week. I've talked about Jordan Tyson. I believe in
1:23the most recent three Waverwire videos, so we don't need to spend a ton of time here, but obviously the deal with Jordan
1:28Tyson is he is going to immediately be featured in my opinion ahead of Devon and ahead of Jawan Johnson. Um, I mean,
1:34I think you can probably drop Veillay and Johnson. Jordan Tyson was a firstround wide receiver who profiled incredibly well in my advanced prospect
1:41metrics. actually in my stuff looked a little bit better before adjusting for draft capital than Carnell Tate. Very early breakout age for Jordan Tyson. A
1:49very heavy plays per game offense. I feel pretty good about Jordan Tyson if he is able to be activated this week. If
1:55he is not activated this week, I would only hold Jordan Tyson on good teams that are training towards making the playoffs. If you are sitting here, you
2:02know, at three and five, you do not need to be adding Jordan Tyson. You need to be biased towards action. the man who we
2:08featured last week. We have to talk about Seth McGawan who did only play 23% of the snaps last week. However, I think
2:14we've gotten our answer. The Indianapolis Colts are trading everyone right now. If you look at any kind of like sports betting or prediction market
2:20or anything like that, the overwhelming favorite is that Jonathan Taylor is going to get traded. Now, the Denver Broncos are in. The New York Giants have
2:27been reported to being on Jonathan Taylor. I personally would be surprised if after the trade deadline, Jonathan Taylor is still an Indianapolis Colts. I
2:35just don't think it makes any sense for the Indianapolis Colts to hold on to Jonathan Taylor. Now, some of you guys
2:39did raise an interesting question last week, which is what does it even matter to have the Indianapolis Colts starting running back if they're going to trade
2:46Josh DS, they traded Quinton Nelson, they traded Devoris Buckner, they're they're trading everything that's not tied down. And you know what, that
2:52actually is, I think, a pretty valid point. However, if you go into rest of season running back rankings and you start looking at actually like who am I
2:59going to start at running back, it starts to get pretty dark pretty quickly. And if I told you like if in
3:04the course of recording this video, if I get done recording it and when I post it, Jonathan Taylor has been traded. I
3:10mean, McGawan I would actually add over Tyler Algier. He would be my top waiverwire ad of the week, but that is
3:16the S tier. Now, most of you guys play in very competitive leagues, so these guys are already going to be rostered.
3:20So, let's move into the real meat of the week with the A tier. Mike Washington Jr. did get the start out of Ashen
3:27Genty. He got 25 rushes. He played 63% of the snavs. only played 20% at a long down a distance, does not get the short
3:34yardage touchdown. Kurt Cousins scores a one-yard touchdown. This is what I would say about Mike Washington Jr. He obviously needs to be rostered. Do I
3:42think that Ashton Genty is going to stay in this role for the rest of the season?
3:45I do not. I did some more digging after the what mattered in week eight video.
3:50And many people around the team think that it was basically like a quiet disciplining, a soft benching for Ashton Genty. He had the comment before the
3:58game where he said some of those New York Jets players are afraid to tackle guys. It doesn't really make any sense
4:03to me to bench your first round running back like and only play him on passing downs. Like why would you not just bench
4:10him overall? Why would you not play Dylan Lowi on passing downs? The bigger issue with Mike Washington Jr. is he's been quite bad. Um so he's 41st at a
4:1842nd in fantasy points per touch amongst running backs. He is bottom five in rushing yards over expectation. He has barely I believe on the season he has
4:26five missed tackles for us. Like he he just has not been very good. He's had a couple nice highlight runs. I have been
4:32an Ash and Genty guy that has looked uh you know I guess kind of in between like the receiving work is not really
4:37something that I expected Genty to do, but I would right now on my fantasy teams I would rather add Seth McGawan. I
4:43think there's a much clearer path to starting Algier to starting Seth McGawan. Like ask yourself are you going to start Mike Washington Jr. if Gent is
4:52active? I think that's the question you have to ask yourself. If you are comfortable, you the viewer, you the listener, if you are comfortable
4:58starting Mike Washington Jr. with Genty playing, then you should move Mike Washington Jr. out my rankings. Me personally, if Genty is active, I'm not
5:06moving White Washington Jr. ahead of him in my rankings. Maybe that's stubborn, but that is how I'm viewing the situation. Then we have Kayn Black. I
5:13think he did get dropped in a fair number of leagues. I actually always before I do this video, I go look at my
5:18actual leagues that I play with actual money with real fantasy football players. And I did see Kayn Black dropped as a result of the 49ers having
5:25the by-week. I mean, we are in peak fantasy football season right now with buys, with injuries, with trades happening. Kaylin Black did get dropped
5:33in a fair number of leagues. We saw Christian McCaffrey suffer the dead leg in the 49ers game against the Atlanta Falcons. I think Kayn Black has to be
5:40owned in every like at least every 10 team league right now. I can't can't see leaving him out there. Adnai Mitchell
5:46has the blowup game here instead of Omar Cooper Jr. We featured Kenyan Sadique on the Waverwire show. We have featured Omar Cooper Jr. on the Wberwire show and
5:54we've actually featured AD Mitchell because he had 11 targets in week two compared to six for Garrett Wilson.
5:59Mitchell did still play this game with his broken finger. I mean really impressive stuff here. 27 PPR points, 74% of the routes, 29% of the targets.
6:08This is my honest to god opinion on Adnai Mitchell. I think right now he is a better player than Omar Cooper Jr. I
6:14think he is an unbelievably good stylistic fit for Gino Smith. And I'm ready to say this right now. come back and dunk on me. Say, "Davis Madak,
6:22you're so stupid. You know, this is why they didn't let you in the Flock League, man, because you have these terrible
6:26opinions." I think Adnai Mitchell outscores Omar Cooper Jr. for the rest of the year on my own fantasy teams. I would rather have Adnai Mitchell. I
6:32would rather start Adnai Mitchell, which is not to say I don't think Omar Cooper Jr. is a drop. I don't think Garrett
6:37Wilson is a sell. I just think the New York Jets offense is actually like pretty good for fantasy in any game
6:43where they actually are positive pass rate over expectation as they were against the Las Vegas Raiders. I think two of the four pass catchers can end up
6:51having good games. So that would be two of Garrett Wilson, Adna Mitchell, Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyan Sadi. How I would
6:56rank them moving forward is I would rank them Garrett Wilson one, Mitchell 2, Cooper 3, Sadique four. Sadique is still contending with a Mason Taylor problem.
7:04Mitchell did see a huge increase in snaps and routes from his first game back from injury to this week up to 74%
7:10of the routes. And I just I if you look at any of the fancy metrics on AD Mitchell in his career, targets per
7:16route run, separation at the catch point, any of those things, he has always been elite at those. The issue with Mitchell has just been a lack of
7:22focus, a lack of seriousness. I don't know what it is about this New York Jets team. Maybe it is just that he loves
7:28playing with Gino, but we have seen a very different version of Adnai Mitchell this year. I am buying in. I already
7:34have Adnai Mitchell on a lot of fantasy teams, but if I didn't, I would be looking to add him this week. Ryan
7:39Floreno, I think this is a really interesting one. He scores a touchdown last week, 13.1 PPR points, 68% of the routes. There are two things that are
7:46really factoring in. I've actually been lower than consensus on Ryan Florenoi coming out of uh Southeastern Missouri State. However, the reason why I'm
7:54changing my tune is first, George Pickkins has seen his snaps and routes limited the most recent two weeks after being listed on the practice report
8:01multiple times with injuries. He is dealing with a couple injuries that are keeping him from being a full-time player. Additionally, we now have Jake
8:09Ferguson who suffered an ankle sprain. I would expect Ferguson to miss a couple weeks. Brevin Span forward, who we're going to talk about a little bit later,
8:14will be out there. But that is going to translate to more snaps, more routes for Ryan Fornite if they're down a tight end
8:20and if they're not playing George Pickkins fulltime. And then also a very other sneaky thing. I wonder if George Pickkins is a potential very surprised
8:28trade candidate. I could see him netting a first, which the Dallas Cowboys would love to have. He obviously has not signed a long-term contract with the
8:35Dallas Cowboys. He's kind of blowing it this year, frankly. Like, he is not having he I certainly the Cowboys can't be that excited to have George Pickkins
8:44on their team. We're getting much closer to a Pittsburgh Steelers version of George Pickkins than the version that we saw of him last year. So, Finoi is
8:52pretty sneaky. I'll just have to admit personally, I'm I would personally rather have Adnai Mitchell. Now, that could very easily end up being wrong.
9:00Like, if George Pickkins is traded or CD Lamb gets injured, obviously you would rather have Florenoi. I I've just had a
9:05hard time. Florenoi has not been even close to like a league average target earner or fantasy point scorer based on his fantasy points per target. So I I
9:13have him below Mitchell. Moving to nine, I've got Eli Ren. A foot injury for Hunter Henry. After Hunter Henry went out, Eli Ren played 92% of the offensive
9:22snaps. Now, he did only generate 1.5 PPR points with a 17% target share. I tend to think Eli Ren is like a pretty good
9:29tight end. Uh people remember on that first Flock League stream of the year, I had him at 65 to1 for the first
9:35touchdown of the first game of the season. Shout out to me. Uh respect your goat. But Raren was a guy that actually
9:40did not have very good collegiate statistics coming out of Notre Dame. But whoever like every film watcher, every NFL scout loved this guy. He ends up
9:47being a day two pick in the NFL draft.
9:49If Hunter Henry misses multiple weeks and AJ Brown misses multiple weeks, I would think Raren will kind of enter that tier three tight end mix where like
9:57you're ranking him at like tight end 15 in the given week. And I I think he's pretty solid there. Uh Dina mentioned
10:03EMTT Johnson coming off the massive 25point game. However, it did only come on 12 offensive snaps and I do think hoping that he gets like the Jerick
10:13McKinnon role is pretty tough because Kenneth Walker has just been so good.
10:17But I know he's been pretty disappointing for our fantasy teams the most recent two weeks. One thing that does aid Emma Johnson is the bow
10:23nixification of Patrick Mahomes where his intended average air yards just keeps falling week over week. Obviously getting that throw to Emma Johnson is
10:30pretty helpful there. Emma Johnson clearly does need to be owned in every fantasy football league if only for like handcuff reasons. If Kenneth Walker goes
10:38down, he becomes an instantaneous league winner because I don't even really think they would play much of a third running back at all. I think it would just be a
10:45lot of Emma Johnson. And as a result of that, I think he just needs to be owned.
10:49But can you start Emtt Johnson? You'd have to be pretty down bad, I think, to start Emma Johnson, despite the fact
10:54that he just had three receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown. Michael Mayer, I mean, again, you guys are smart. You know the deal with Michael
11:01Mayer. He is a full-time player. Brock Bowers is a receiver. as long as Kurt Cousins keeps playing pretty well. Like I mean the fact that Trey Tucker and
11:09Jaylen Naylor are the outside wide receivers means there's no reason that Mayer and Bowowers can't combine for 60% of the Raiders targets in a given week.
11:17So anytime the Raiders actually like project as a dog or you think they're going to lose the game, Mayer is I think
11:22like a pretty good streaming option. And then Dylan Samson 12.9 PPR points last week played 56% of the snaps, 69% of the
11:30long down of distance. He played all the third downs. He actually ended up playing one more snap in the end than
11:36Quinnshan Judkins did, which I think is fairly bullish for him. I mean, the the whole deal with Judkins is we wanted
11:42Judkins to earn more of the passing down work. And it turns out that 2024 SEC offensive player of the year. Dylan
11:47Samson is going to prevent that from happening. Moving now to the B tier, we've got to talk about Brian Thomas Jr.
11:53who did score a touchdown last week, only ran 52% of the routes and had 13% of the targets. But obviously, the
11:58reason why we are talking about Brian Thomas Jr. is the trade deadline is now a week away. Is he going to be on the
12:04Jacksonville Jaguars? If he still is on the Jacksonville Jaguars, you probably don't want to have him on your fantasy team. If he is traded from the
12:10Jacksonville Jaguars, I think you most certainly do want him on your fantasy team. If he is traded to the Chiefs, if
12:15he is traded to the Steelers, um if he Well, is he traded to the Seahawks?
12:19Would we rather him I don't know. Would you rather him be on the Seahawks or the Jaguars? There there are a couple great
12:24Oh, what about the Rams? I mean, if the Rams trade for Brian Thomas Jr. then move Brian Thomas Jr. to the S tier. He
12:30would be like the absolutely had to have him. Get it off your waiver guy of the year. What is the probability that Brian
12:36Thomas Jr. is traded? It's probably not that high. I don't think the Jacksonville Jaguars want to bail from a costc controlled guy who was so good his
12:43rookie season. But it is pretty clear that the relationship is soured. Uh Liam Cohen when asked about Brian Thomas Jr.
12:49and him being traded this last week just like couldn't even couldn't even couldn't even fathom how annoying it was to continually be asked about this guy.
12:57So, I don't really know how to interpret that situation, but the rumors have consistently been, you know, Jeremy Fowler has reported this, other guys
13:03have reported this. The Chiefs are calling about Brian Thomas Jr. Doesn't mean they're going to get him, but if they do, I think you're obviously going
13:08to want him on your team. Got to talk about the Patriots guys with no AJ Brown. Uh Kyle Williams only saw one
13:13target, but scored a 42- yard touchdown.
13:16Eftton Chisum played a ton. 85% of the routs, 28% of the targets did not have a particularly good game. And then Deario
13:21Douglas scored as well. Honestly, my expectation would be that AJ Brown probably barely contributes to the Patriots for the rest of the season. He
13:29has now missed time with two separate injuries. He has a degenerative knee condition. Now, the Patriots offense without AJ Brown and without Hunter
13:36Henry and without Trevian Anderson didn't look particularly good against the Miami Dolphins. In fact, it kind of looked like it was stuck in quicksand.
13:42Douglas to me is very interesting just because he continues to earn good volume. They were also using Chisum in kind of some creative ways. They were
13:50using him as like the Jet Motion guy.
13:52they were throwing some screens to him.
13:54Kyle Williams has the lowest floor in a given week. He's not going to be near as good of a target earner as Chismer
13:59Douglas, but he also has the highest a highest average depth of target. And with that high a dot, that can just turn
14:05into touchdowns much more easily. These guys are kind of all like borderline wide receiver four style guys, but in a given week where the Patriots have a
14:12higher total or we think it's a spot where the Patriots are going to trend up in terms of dropbacks, then I think all
14:17these guys need to be rushed. For example, the Patriots on November 15th play the Detroit Lions. I think all of these guys are probably kind of low-end
14:24streamers, assuming that AJ Brown does not play. The guy who is going to lose playing time the most with AJ Brown
14:30active is going to be Chisom. I think Douglas has now set in as like pretty much a full-time player with Romeo Dubs
14:36out. Then we have Elijah Mitchell, who ended up playing 57% of the snaps, played 79% of the long down distance, only scored 7.7 PPR points. Barkley
14:44ended up cashing in the goal line touchdown, but he played more than Saquon Barkley did. Jaden Blue came in for eight snaps in Garbageio time. Eli
14:51Mitchell is probably going to be the lead back for the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean, the Eagles are playing for absolutely nothing at this stage. Saquon
14:58Barkley told Eagles riders that he is not going to be traded. Do you guys believe that? I I don't know if I do
15:04believe that. I think if um their front office was offered something meaningful for Saquon Barkley, they would most certainly take it. The Eagles are two
15:12and six as of right now. That would place them as um actually they're dead last in the NFC. Technically, the the
15:18Saints are ahead of them because the Saints only have five losses. The Eagles have six losses. So, the Eagles season is over. Herz is out. Dvontto Smith is
15:26seeming like he maybe is not going to trend back. I I don't see why Elijah Mitchell uh is not going to get, you
15:32know, about 15 touches a game for the rest of the season for the Philadelphia Eagles. Mike Cassiki, uh he actually trended way up in terms of routes. 74%
15:39of the routes, 13% of the targets in games where the Bengals have a ton of dropbacks. Cassiki does tend to trend
15:44up. Eric all and Tanner Hudson being injured also open up more snaps for Gassiki. You know, I I've been kind of
15:50lower on Gassiki despite the fact that he just keeps scoring a billion touchdowns. He's having a phenomenal season like relative to his baseline. I
15:59just have seen this from before, but Gassiki only doesn't have a touchdown in one game this season. And in fact, his
16:05six touchdowns match his careerhigh uh from 2020. He also scored six touchdowns. So, I I guess maybe I've been wrong on Mike Cassiki. I do think
16:13he's a fine ad here, you know, if you're if you're streaming tight ends or whatever. Uh Austin Eckler, so Jeremy McNichols suffered a foot injury. Sounds
16:21like he is going to be out for the rest of the year. The team has been very loathed to use Rashad White as an every
16:26down back. And frankly, I get it. You know, when I watch Rashad White, I wouldn't want to use him as an every
16:31down back either. What was weird was Eckler was actually playing the early downs. Eckler played 17 of the 20 early down snaps, but only played 20% of the
16:40long down at distance. Obviously an early down back on the Washington Commanders. I mean I think as we've learned with the Shakori Crosky Merit
16:46stuff, not nearly as valuable as the passing down back. Rashad White would have lost the goal line work to Jeremy McNichols. However, McNichols ends up
16:55injuring his foot. I wonder if Eckler's role actually grows over the course of the season as he gets a little bit
17:00healthier. Remember, he is coming back from this Achilles injury. I he's he's a pretty good like $1 low priority ad because there's every chance that next
17:08week for the commanders Eckler like ends up leading that back field uh in in overall snaps. Now I would still rather
17:14have Rashad White if Rashad White was on your waiverss. I'd rather add Rashad White. And I guess also a reminder to
17:19check and see if JK Merid is out there.
17:21He should be eligible to come back from the designated for return IR next week.
17:25And when that happens, given they've been so hesitant to give Rashad White healthy work on the ground, I wonder if he is reinstalled as the lead back, then
17:33Malik Washington does finally cash in on a touchdown last week. Finally gets over 11 PPR points, 78% of the routes, 20% of
17:40the targets. The issue with Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell and Malik Washington and Greg Doulich and Kevin Coleman Jr. is that the Dolphins passing
17:48game is so egalitarian. Every Dolphins starting pass catcher last week had either five or six targets and counting on Miami Dolphins passing touchdowns
17:56doesn't really feel that sustainable over the long term. But Malik Washington is a fine stop gap. I would say next week I would prefer any of the three
18:02Patriots guys assuming no AJ Brown over any of the Dolphins guys if that is the situation interior you're looking at.
18:09Moving to the Ctier. Brevin Span Ford is the new starting tight end for the Dallas Cowboys. Jake Ferguson I would guess is going to miss at least two
18:15weeks with his ankle sprain. run 74% of the route, 17% of the targets. The Cowboys passing offense is one that we
18:22really want to be investing in. However, the Cowboys have tried to stop throwing the ball, which I think is so interesting. I don't know why they would
18:28do this, but the Cowboys lose to the Arizona Cardinals and do so with only 168 passing yards. Now, they do beat the
18:35Philadelphia Eagles with 212 passing yards and 204 rushing yards, but I think the Cowboys are just better when they're dropping back. And to me, Brevin Span
18:43forward is kind of and like who's who projects for more points next week, Kyle Pitts or Brevin Spanford? Like it could
18:49very easily be Span Ford. They they do seem to like him and they've been slowly installing him over Jake Ferguson.
18:56Anyway, Evan Hull, now this is a name I did not think we were going to be talking about in fantasy football in
19:012026, but if you look at the Arizona Cardinals beat writer, Jeremiah Love, uh their depth chart, sorry, not beat Writer. Jeremiah Love reinjured his
19:10ankle. Bam Knight suffered like a really gnarly concussion. Tyler Algier played the final 40 offensive snaps for the Arizona Cardinals. So, I think Evan Hull
19:18is going to be active this upcoming week. And before you say, Davis, why do I need to add the handcuff running back?
19:23Like, you're so stupid. I mean, think about what we just saw with a team like the Philadelphia Eagles where they went
19:27through Barkley, they went through Shipley, they went through Damen Pierce, and all of a sudden the guy behind the guy became the guy that you needed. If
19:33you added Damen Pierce on the Will Shipley week, you got two good starts.
19:37if you added uh Elijah Mitchell, you know, you got you got like I guess two decent games out of Elijah Mitchell, two
19:43two okay games. Not that you would like have ever started Elijah Mitchell, but I do think, you know, spending one buck on
19:48on Evan Hole and then all of a sudden Tyler Elgier rolls his ankle. You have a starting I mean granted you have a
19:54starting running back for a pretty bad team with a pretty bad offensive line, but still these are these are the types
19:58of moves that if you have a really good team, like if you are if you have a a strong roster right now, like if you are
20:05only like one or two losses, Evan Hull for like zero dollars or as a first come first serve guy, that is what separates
20:11you from from like a normie. That is what makes you an elite fantasy football manager is that you know to make these
20:16transactions before it costs you money.
20:19Uh Cyrus Allen did run 50% of the routes for the Kansas City Chiefs. That was a big uptick for him. One of the things
20:24that might make sense for the Chiefs if they don't end up trading a pick for Josh Downs. If they don't trade for
20:28Keenan Allen, if they don't trade for Brian Thomas Jr., they don't trade for any of these guys would be just saying,
20:33"Hey, our passing offense is so bad. We are so down bad. Like, how can it be worse than just playing this this day
20:41three rookie? It can't get any worse.
20:42Playing Andrew Armstrong can't get any worse. Playing Noah Gray can't get any worse, you know. Can't can't get any worse than playing Jaylen Royals. Like,
20:48let's just throw this guy out there and see what he can do. I don't think that's going to be the most likely thing. I
20:54think they're probably going to trade for a receiver, but if they do not trade for a receiver, it would not surprise me
20:59if Cyrus Allen ends up actually out targeting Xavier Worthy in the back half of the season. Worthy, who I did like
21:04coming into the year, I mean, he just can't play. He just is not good enough.
21:06Cyrus Allen, I think, is already to me seems like a better wide receiver than Xavier Worthy. Devin Neil, same situation as with Evan Hull. So, you
21:14have Jeremy McNichols injured his foot.
21:16Austin Eckler's coming back from this injury. Rashad White has just been Rashad White has just been juiceless. I mean, that's the deal with Rashad White.
21:24He just has basically no juice. So, Deon Neil for one buck. I I actually uh would be adding like 14 16 team less. Would
21:31not surprise me if week 13 uh Deon Neil is ranked as a starting player. And then Trail Burks 79% of the routes, 21% of
21:38the targets. definitely prefer Antonio Williams over Treyen Burks, but Treyen Burks is the deep guy in this offense.
21:44And I actually do believe the Commanders when they say, "Hey man, we don't want to give Stfon Diggs 11 targets per
21:49game." Like, as it stands right now, it's not a crazy thing that the Commanders could make the postseason.
21:55They are technically only two games back in their division um against the New York Giants. And the New York Giants have JJ McCarthy as their quarterback,
22:01which is a good segue. Our streaming quarterbacks for this week, my top two streaming quarterbacks. Number one, Malik Willis gets to play at home
22:09against the Detroit Lions. We have actually seen Malik Willis step up for fantasy football in a major way. It has not come how I would have expected it. I
22:16would have expected the better results for him to come via the rush. Did not happen last week. Only had one rush for
22:23two yards against New England, but had his most efficient passing performance.
22:27We know the Detroit Lions are a really plus plus matchup. And shout out to my guy JJ McCarthy. I'm not ready to fully
22:33live on JJ McCarthy Island, but I am purchasing a time share. You know, I I'm going to go there for two weeks in the
22:39spring. I'm going to go hang out. I'm going to see the sites. I'm going to have a nice time, you know, nice little
22:43family vacation, and I'm going to turn the time share over to the next person there. The Eagles have just given it up
22:48to everyone. Like, the the Eagles suck.
22:49I I mean I think that streaming quarterbacks, streaming running backs, streaming wide receivers, streaming tight ends against Eagles for the rest
22:56of the season is going to just be awesome because teams are just going to steamroll them as they've totally given up on the season. So in leagues where
23:03I'm missing a quarterback and leagues where I'm dealing with injuries, super flex leagues, I mean certainly you'd want to have Jay McCarthy. These are my
23:08top two streamers. Moving to the streaming defenses this week, Kansas City Chiefs gets to play against Gino and the Jets. They're nine and a half
23:15point favorites. Even though my Kansas City Chiefs are having a tough season, this is an elite spot. I mean, getting Gino for for all he has done as a
23:23quarterback this year, one of his big issues is he just takes way too many sacks. So, I really like the Kansas City
23:28Chiefs streaming defense this week. The Chicago Bears with Jeffrey Simmons, they get to play against the Tempe Buccaneers who basically have stopped throwing the
23:36forward pass. I don't think they're going to be able to get away with that.
23:38No team is able to get away with that because the Chicago Bears offense is too good. Something that people fundamentally misunderstand about
23:44streaming defense is the thing that we want is we want to face the most amount of passing attempts possible. And because the Bears can force other teams
23:51to throw, they end up being a great streaming defense. The Detroit Lions, who yes, the defense absolutely stinks, but they get to play against the Miami
23:58Dolphins. Playing against the Miami Dolphins is an absolute cheat code, particularly in weeks where you think they're going to have to throw the ball.
24:04I don't see any way that they're able to avoid throwing the ball this week against the the Detroit Lions offense.
24:10Then we have the New York Giants. Same deal here. I mean, just look look the rest of the season. Who do the Eagles
24:16play? Pick those defenses up. Like, go, okay, so they play the Giants, they play the Steelers, they play the Cowboys, they play the Cardinals. Like, all those
24:22defenses are going to be good because the Eagles have absolutely nothing on offense. And then the New Orleans Saints, who did get dropped in a fair
24:30few amount of leagues as they were coming through their bye-week. I I would assume they're like available in like pretty much all of your leagues. They
24:36get to play against Deshaawn Watson and the Cleveland Browns. Deshun Watson just eight. Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, but
24:43eight sacks last week. I mean, just unbelievable how bad Deshawn Watson is playing. I I cannot believe that the Cleveland Browns are not putting their
24:50wrist up. So, to put a little cap on this, my top five waiverwire ads of the week. Number one would be Antonio
24:57Williams. Number two would be Seth McGawan. Number three, in my opinion, would be Adnai Mitchell. Number four would be Kalin Black. And number five
25:05would be Eli Rarden. Obviously, that is not including guys who are already owned in most of your fantasy football leagues. I'm respecting you. That's what
25:13I want to do. You know, when you come to the Madic Fantasy Football Channel, I want you guys to feel respected.
25:18Streaming kickers, Kyro Santos with a high total against Tampa Bay. Eddie Pierro with the mega insane total this week against the Las Vegas Raiders.
25:26Absolutely love to see that. Will Lutz widely available against the Carolina Panthers. And Drew Stevens for the Commanders this week. Looks good as
25:34well. our drop list this week. It's a pretty sad list because it's really going to reflect the situation with the Baltimore Ravens. We've got Rashad
25:41Baitman as a drop. Emanuel Wilson, absolutely no touches, no rushes for him last night. He and Helani are both clear drops in fantasy football. Xavier Worthy
25:4993% of the routes, 4.3 PBR points.
25:52Adios, brother. Chris Godwin, I think you can drop, frankly, I think you can drop Ted Johnson. You could drop you you
25:57could drop any Buccaneers pass catcher really other than Ibuka given how low they've been to pass the ball even despite the surrounding circumstances.
26:05Mark Andrews four PBR points on 71% of the route. Sayanara buddy JK Dobbins RJ Harvey and Tyler Batty both on IR. Now
26:14the team wants to trade for Jonathan Taylor. JK Dobbins coming off 1.3 PBR points. Lamar Jackson on IR. You can drop him as well. Bam Knight with a
26:22concussion and I think clearly Tyler Algier is gonna be ahead of him on the rotation. Make sure to like the video.
