One question has captured the imagination of the fantasy football world all offseason: who is this year's Jaxon Smith-Njigba? Ladd McConkey has been the trendy answer for good reason, with a Keenan Allen departure and a great new play caller in Mike McDaniel. DeVonta Smith-Njigba has a nice ring to it too. Jaylen Waddle, Zay Flowers and even Rome Odunze all have reasonable enough cases. Ian is not taking any of them. His chip is on Brock Bowers. Bowers has JSN's actual play caller in Klint Kubiak. He is in an offense with basically zero competition in the wide receiver room. And he should be getting something close to a quarterback upgrade, particularly once Fernando Mendoza is under center. He is not cheap. But looking at that mid to late second round landscape, Ian wants plenty of Brock Bowers, because his best case scenario involves breaking fantasy football.
