Goff has eight separate top five weekly fantasy finishes over the past two seasons, more than any quarterback not named Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, or Jalen Hurts.

0:00Lions QB Jared Goff, and honestly guys,
0:02I was kind of surprised he qualified for
0:04this study in the first place, but sure
0:06enough outside the top 120 overall picks
0:08on Sleeper and outside the top 150 on
0:10ESPN. That's a five and a half round
0:13discount over fellow pocket passers like
0:15Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford. And
0:17sure, these guys don't run, but that
0:18hasn't stopped Goff from offering a lot
0:20of fantasy football upside. He has eight
0:23separate top five weekly fantasy
0:24finishes over these past two seasons.
0:26That's more than any quarterback not
0:28named Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Joe
0:30Burrow, or Jalen Hurts. So, hey, in a
0:32world where we are seeing quarterbacks
0:34struggle or even throw for 4,000 yards
0:36these days, Goff has cleared 4,500 yards
0:39in three straight seasons. The rest of
0:40the NFL has just six such seasons
0:42combined during that same span. So,
0:45the one potential reddish flag
0:46here would be the insertion of Drew
0:48Petzing at OC, but I do try to lean on
0:51some, you know, more [music] real life
0:52ball knowers out there when we do have
0:54coaching changes like this. And ESPN's
0:56Field Yates as well as Yahoo's Nate Tice
0:58very, very encouraging and optimistic
1:01about the pairing. As is Vegas, who has
1:02the Lions as their number one ranked
1:04offense in their preseason
1:06scoring ranks. So, make sure to keep an
1:08eye out later in the season cuz we got
1:09an unfortunate week 17 championship week
1:12and match-up in Chicago, and I know we
1:14don't want to play Goff outdoors in that
1:16game. But, you know what, we got [music]
1:17to make it to the championship first,
1:19and I do believe using a late round pick
1:21on Jared Goff this year will help you do
1:23just that.
