Michael Pittman

PositiveProjection0:00

Michael Pittman could easily walk into 80 catches this year with Aaron Rodgers, and the odds should be pretty close to him outproducing DK Metcalf in Pittsburgh.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:00

Michael Pittman is a perfect fit for Aaron Rodgers' quick-hitting, spread-out offense. He ran high-frequency routes (flats, curls, quick hitches, slants, in-breakers, screens) as a Z receiver with the Colts that align perfectly with Rodgers' point-and-shoot style.

PositiveMatchup0:48

If Pittsburgh's aging defense doesn't hold up and the team has to play catch-up, Michael Pittman could absolutely eat and produce significant fantasy points.

0:00James, I think Michael Pittman
0:02like the odds should be pretty close to
0:04him to straight up out producing DK
0:06Metcalf this year in Pittsburgh. He's
0:08just a perfect fit for Aaron Rodgers
0:11right now. He wants to kind of spread
0:13things out, do the point and shoot
0:15thing. He wants a lot of these like free
0:16access throws and get the ball out of
0:18his hands quickly. And you look at
0:20Michael Pittman, he is still very good
0:22at being able to do that. This is the
0:24data from his Colts season in 2025. You
0:27look at some of the routes that he ran
0:29with high frequency, flats, curls. Those
0:32are Aaron Rodgers routes. I mean, the
0:34quick hitches and everything as the Z
0:37receiver, I think we'll see a ton of
0:39that for Michael Pittman. Some of the
0:40quick slants and in-breakers and screens
0:43as well. I mean, Michael Pittman is just
0:45a guy that could easily walk into like
0:4680 catches this year.
0:48>> You hit it right on the head, man. Like,
0:50expect a lot of curls. Expect a lot of
0:52slants. And when you look at the the
0:54route chart for Michael Pittman, this is
0:56This guy's eaten. Man, this guy's eaten
0:58in these areas. Is Aaron Rodgers capable
1:00of feeding 2,000 yard receivers at this
1:02point in his career? Probably not. But,
1:04that being said, if the defense doesn't
1:06hold up in Pittsburgh, and this it's an
1:08aging unit, too, by the way, they could
1:10give up some points. And if they're
1:12having to play a little bit of catch-up,
1:13then sure, absolutely Michael Pittman
1:15could absolutely eat, too.
