Bounce back year for Justin Jefferson as an elite 1st rounder or should he still be a second rounder? #FFHappyHour with Mr. Reception Perception himself @MattHarmon_BYB @MBFantasyLife [Retweeted](PositiveNewsSep 1, 2026
There are so many historic and Justin Jefferson specific RP stats you guys will love if you read the full profile but my favorite is this one. Jefferson has now cleared the 98th percentile in success rate vs. press coverage in four straight seasons. Not only is he the first WR I've ever charted to do it four years in a row, but only one other receiver has even done it multiple times: Odell Beckham Jr. (2014, 2016 and 2018). Don't let the frustrating 2025 season for Justin Jefferson fool you... "Essentially, if there’s an inner circle Ring of Honor, all-time-best Reception Perception statistical benchmark, Jefferson has hit it." [Retweeted](PositiveNewsAug 31, 2026

One of my annual favorite pieces to write this time of year: Who are the most likely candidates to be the WR1 overall for the 2026 season? The WR1 overall has to check 3 boxes: - Path a dominant target share - Tethered to an efficient offense/QB - Must be verifiably great at football I did an extra deep dive into the loaded position and looked at all the players in Tiers 1 and 2 of my rankings to assess how each candidate stacks up: <https://sports.yahoo.com/fantasy/article/the-top-16-most-li...PositiveValueJul 14, 2026

Matt Harmon selects Jefferson as his pick for aging most gracefully among elite young receivers. Harmon cites multiple factors: Jefferson is a high-caliber athlete, the best route runner in the group, and an elite technician. Harmon projects Jefferson could become an even better version of late-career Stefon Diggs, maintaining elite production as he ages because his game relies on technique rather than quick-twitch athleticism.PositiveProjectionJun 4, 2026
Matt Harmon moved Jefferson out of tier one last season due to QB play concerns but now believes it's time to get back in on him as a tier-one receiver. With Kyler Murray upgrade over JJ McCarthy, Harmon projects Jefferson back into top-five WR production; cites 73.1% success rate on nine routes (elite tier) and 82% success rate on comeback routes as evidence that Murray's boundary/vertical route tendencies align with Jefferson's elite metrics. Jefferson could produce Jamar Chase or JSN-level output in the back half of the first round with overall WR1 upside and could be the best player in all of fantasy football next year. He finished as WR24 last year and with a pulse after 17 games can't finish worse; Harmon prefers Jefferson over Amon-Ra St. Brown, citing much better floor and higher upside. In best ball, Jefferson at pick 9 offers strong value in the back half of the first round.
