Jeremy Fowler on Jauan Jennings possibly being traded: “Jennings, who’s on a one-year deal, could prove a low-cost option for teams looking to add to their receiver room. The 49ers are an obvious fit.” The biggest question would be if the Vikings would be willing to trade JJ back to San Francisco. The 49ers would probably have to overpay in order to make it happen and I wouldn’t give more than a 6th round pick for himPositiveNewsOct 17, 2026

You got 49ers fans saying hell no to a Jauan Jennings return. You guys must be cool with this WR room right now: Mike Evans Brandin Cooks Jacob Cowing Jordan Watkins Kirk, Deebo, Strib cannot be counted on anytime soon due to the severity of their injuries Would I love McLaurin, Wilson, London? Absolutely. Do I think getting any of these type of players are realistic? Not really because of what Lynch would have to give up in draft capital in order to land one of these type of receivers Adding...PositiveNewsOct 13, 2026

Brian Baldinger’s expectations for De'Zhaun Stribling: “Why can’t Stribling do what Tetairoa McMillan just did (OROY)? I feel like Stribling can contribute right away. I feel like he’s got 50 or 60 catches. Why can’t he take over for what Jauan Jennings has been in this offense over the last 3 years?” via: @957thegamePositiveNewsJul 31, 2026

Eric Branch has some interesting predictions for the 49ers this season: • The 49ers over-reliance on aging 30-something players due to their series of lackluster recent drafts will catch up to them (and those NFL-record travel miles won’t help): They will finish 9-8, miss the playoffs and finish in third place in the NFC West behind the Rams and Seahawks • The Brandon Aiyuk saga will somehow get more bizarre — and the former All-Pro wide receiver won’t play in the NFL in 2026 • Best value dra...
