IMO, it’s fair to put some of (if not a lot of) the blame for Emeka Egbuka’s drop-off in the middle of the season on injury (to both himself and Baker). The more troubling part to me was that multiple months removed from his injury (which he didn’t miss any time for btw), he was running as the WR4 on his own team in route share in the most important games of the season. Chris Godwin has been one of my biggest flips in stance throughout the offseason (bullish now). I feel strongly about a bounce-back for this Bucs offense, as Baker's injury very clearly hindered his play midseason after multiple years of solid to elite performance. Godwin is aging (although only 30 for entire 2026 season) but we know how good he can be.
